হে মুমিনগণ! আল্লাহকে ভয় কর, তাঁর নৈকট্য অন্বেষন কর এবং তাঁর পথে জেহাদ কর যাতে তোমরা সফলকাম হও।
O ye who believe! Do your duty to Allah, seek the means of approach unto Him, and strive with might and main in his cause: that ye may prosper. |

আর কোন কোন বেদুইন হল তারা, যারা ঈমান আনে আল্লাহর উপর, কেয়ামত দিনের উপর এবং নিজেদের ব্যয়কে আল্লাহর নৈকট্য এবং রসূলের দোয়া লাভের উপায় বলে গণ্য করে। জেনো! তাই হল তাদের ক্ষেত্রে নৈকট্য। আল্লাহ তাদেরকে নিজের রহমতের অন্তর্ভূক্ত করবেন। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, করুনাময়।
But some of the desert Arabs believe in Allah and the Last Day, and look on their payments as pious gifts bringing them nearer to Allah and obtaining the prayers of the Messenger. Aye, indeed they bring them nearer (to Him): soon will Allah admit them to His Mercy: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. |

যাদেরকে তারা আহবান করে, তারা নিজেরাই তো তাদের পালনকর্তার নৈকট্য লাভের জন্য মধ্যস্থ তালাশ করে যে, তাদের মধ্যে কে নৈকট্যশীল। তারা তাঁর রহমতের আশা করে এবং তাঁর শাস্তিকে ভয় করে। নিশ্চয় আপনার পালনকর্তার শাস্তি ভয়াবহ।
Those whom they call upon do desire (for themselves) means of access to their Lord, - even those who are nearest: they hope for His Mercy and fear His Wrath: for the Wrath of thy Lord is something to take heed of. |

ফেরাউন বলল, হঁ্যা এবং তখন তোমরা আমার নৈকট্যশীলদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হবে।
He said: "Yea, (and more),- for ye shall in that case be (raised to posts) nearest (to my person)." |

তারাই নৈকট্যশীল,
These will be those Nearest to Allah: |

যদি সে নৈকট্যশীলদের একজন হয়;
Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, |

আল্লাহর নৈকট্যপ্রাপ্ত ফেরেশতাগণ একে প্রত্যক্ষ করে।
To which bear witness those Nearest (to Allah). |

আয়াতঃ ২১) |

এটা একটা ঝরণা, যার পানি পান করবে নৈকট্যশীলগণ।
A spring, from (the waters) whereof drink those Nearest to Allah. |

কখনই নয়, আপনি তার আনুগত্য করবেন না। আপনি সেজদা করুন ও আমার নৈকট্য অর্জন করুন।
Nay, heed him not: But bow down in adoration, and bring thyself the closer (to Allah)! |
