অনন্তর শয়তান তাদের উভয়কে ওখান থেকে পদস্খলিত করেছিল। পরে তারা যে সুখ-স্বাচ্ছন্দ্যে ছিল তা থেকে তাদেরকে বের করে দিল এবং আমি বললাম, তোমরা নেমে যাও। তোমরা পরস্পর একে অপরের শক্র হবে এবং তোমাদেরকে সেখানে কিছুকাল অবস্থান করতে হবে ও লাভ সংগ্রহ করতে হবে।
Then did Satan make them slip from the (garden), and get them out of the state (of felicity) in which they had been. We said: "Get ye down, all (ye people), with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling-place and your means of livelihood - for a time." |

আমি হুকুম করলাম, তোমরা সবাই নীচে নেমে যাও। অতঃপর যদি তোমাদের নিকট আমার পক্ষ থেকে কোন হেদায়েত পৌঁছে, তবে যে ব্যক্তি আমার সে হেদায়েত অনুসারে চলবে, তার উপর না কোন ভয় আসবে, না (কোন কারণে) তারা চিন্তাগ্রস্ত ও সন্তপ্ত হবে।
We said: "Get ye down all from here; and if, as is sure, there comes to you Guidance from me, whosoever follows My guidance, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. |
(আল বাকারা:

আল্লাহ বললেনঃ তোমরা নেমে যাও। তোমরা এক অপরের শত্রু। তোমাদের জন্যে পৃথিবীতে বাসস্থান আছে এবং একটি নির্দিষ্ট মেয়াদ পর্যন্ত ফল ভোগ আছে।
(Allah) said: "Get ye down. With enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling-place and your means of livelihood,- for a time." |
(আল আ'রাফ:

আর যখন তোমরা ছিলে সমরাঙ্গনের এ প্রান্তে আর তারা ছিল সে প্রান্তে অথচ কাফেলা তোমাদের থেকে নীচে নেমে গিয়েছিল। এমতাবস্থায় যদি তোমরা পারস্পরিক অঙ্গীকারাবদ্ধ হতে, তবে তোমরা এক সঙ্গে সে ওয়াদা পালন করতে পারতে না। কিন্তু আল্লাহ তা’আলা এমন এক কাজ করতে চেয়েছিলেন, যা নির্ধারিত হয়ে গিয়েছিল যাতে সে সব লোক নিহত হওয়ার ছিল, প্রমাণ প্রতিষ্ঠার পর এবং যাদের বাঁচার ছিল, তারা বেঁচে থাকে প্রমাণ প্রতিষ্ঠার পর। আর নিশ্চিতই আল্লাহ শ্রবণকারী, বিজ্ঞ।
Remember ye were on the hither side of the valley, and they on the farther side, and the caravan on lower ground than ye. Even if ye had made a mutual appointment to meet, ye would certainly have failed in the appointment: But (thus ye met), that Allah might accomplish a matter already enacted; that those who died might die after a clear Sign (had been given), and those who lived might live after a Clear Sign (had been given). And verily Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things). |

যদি কোন কোরআন এমন হত, যার সাহায্যে পাহাড় চলমান হয় অথবা যমীন খন্ডিত হয় অথবা মৃতরা কথা বলে, তবে কি হত? বরং সব কাজ তো আল্লাহর হাতে। ঈমানদাররা কি এ ব্যাপারে নিশ্চিত নয় যে, যদি আল্লাহ চাইতেন, তবে সব মানুষকে সৎপথে পরিচালিত করতেন? কাফেররা তাদের কৃতকর্মের কারণে সব সময় আঘাত পেতে থাকবে অথবা তাদের গৃহের নিকটবর্তী স্থানে আঘাত নেমে আসবে, যে, পর্যন্ত আল্লাহর ওয়াদা না আসে। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ ওয়াদার খেলাফ করেন না।
If there were a Qur'an with which mountains were moved, or the earth were cloven asunder, or the dead were made to speak, (this would be the one!) But, truly, the command is with Allah in all things! Do not the Believers know, that, had Allah (so) willed, He could have guided all mankind (to the right)? But the Unbelievers,- never will disaster cease to seize them for their (ill) deeds, or to settle close to their homes, until the promise of Allah come to pass, for, verily, Allah will not fail in His promise. |

অতঃপর যখন তাঁরা দুই সুমুদ্রের সঙ্গমস্থলে পৌছালেন, তখন তাঁরা নিজেদের মাছের কথা ভুলে গেলেন। অতঃপর মাছটি সমুদ্রে সুড়ঙ্গ পথ সৃষ্টি করে নেমে গেল।
But when they reached the Junction, they forgot (about) their Fish, which took its course through the sea (straight) as in a tunnel. |

বলেছিঃ আমার দেয়া পবিত্র বস্তুসমূহ খাও এবং এতে সীমালংঘন করো না, তা হলে তোমাদের উপর আমার ক্রোধ নেমে আসবে এবং যার উপর আমার ক্রোধ নেমে আসে সে ধবংস হয়ে যায়।
(Saying): "Eat of the good things We have provided for your sustenance, but commit no excess therein, lest My Wrath should justly descend on you: and those on whom descends My Wrath do perish indeed! |
(ত্বোয়া-হা:

অতঃপর মূসা তাঁর সম্প্রদায়ের কাছে ফিরে গেলেন ক্রদ্ধ ও অনুতপ্ত অবস্থায়। তিনি বললেনঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, তোমাদের পালনকর্তা কি তোমাদেরকে একটি উত্তম প্রতিশ্রুতি দেননি? তবে কি প্রতিশ্রুতির সময়কাল তোমাদের কাছে দীর্ঘ হয়েছে, না তোমরা চেয়েছ যে, তোমাদের উপর তোমাদের পালনকর্তার ক্রোধ নেমে আসুক, যে কারণে তোমরা আমার সাথে কৃত ওয়াদা ভঙ্গ করলে?
So Moses returned to his people in a state of indignation and sorrow. He said: "O my people! did not your Lord make a handsome promise to you? Did then the promise seem to you long (in coming)? Or did ye desire that Wrath should descend from your Lord on you, and so ye broke your promise to me?" |
(ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৮৬) |

তিনি বললেনঃ তোমরা উভয়েই এখান থেকে এক সঙ্গে নেমে যাও। তোমরা একে অপরের শত্রু। এরপর যদি আমার পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের কাছে হেদায়েত আসে, তখন যে আমার বর্ণিত পথ অনুসরণ করবে, সে পথভ্রষ্ঠ হবে না এবং কষ্টে পতিত হবে না।
He said: "Get ye down, both of you,- all together, from the Garden, with enmity one to another: but if, as is sure, there comes to you Guidance from Me, whosoever follows My Guidance, will not lose his way, nor fall into misery. |
(ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ১২৩) |

এবং পঞ্চমবার বলে যে, যদি তার স্বামী সত্যবাদী হয় তবে তার ওপর আল্লাহর গযব নেমে আসবে।
And the fifth (oath) should be that she solemnly invokes the wrath of Allah on herself if (her accuser) is telling the truth. |

বলুন, আমার পালনকর্তা পরওয়া করেন না যদি তোমরা তাঁকে না ডাক। তোমরা মিথ্যা বলেছ। অতএব সত্বর নেমে আসবে অনিবার্য শাস্তি।
Say (to the Rejecters): "My Lord is not uneasy because of you if ye call not on Him: But ye have indeed rejected (Him), and soon will come the inevitable (punishment)!" |

কার কাছে অবমাননাকর আযাব এবং চিরস্থায়ী শাস্তি নেমে আসে।
"Who it is to whom comes a Penalty of ignominy, and on whom descends a Penalty that abides." |
