বস্তুতঃ আমি সাগর পার করে দিয়েছি বনী-ইসরাঈলদিগকে। তখন তারা এমন এক সম্প্রদায়ের কাছে গিয়ে পৌছাল, যারা স্বহস্তনির্মিত মূর্তিপুজায় নিয়োজিত ছিল। তারা বলতে লাগল, হে মূসা; আমাদের উপাসনার জন্যও তাদের মূর্তির মতই একটি মূর্তি নির্মাণ করে দিন। তিনি বললেন, তোমাদের মধ্যে বড়ই অজ্ঞতা রয়েছে।
We took the Children of Israel (with safety) across the sea. They came upon a people devoted entirely to some idols they had. They said: "O Moses! fashion for us a god like unto the gods they have." He said: "Surely ye are a people without knowledge. |

তাদের নির্মিত গৃহটি তাদের অন্তরে সদা সন্দেহের উদ্রেক করে যাবে যে পর্যন্ত না তাদের অন্তরগুলো চৌচির হয়ে যায়। আর আল্লাহ সর্বজ্ঞ প্রজ্ঞাময়।
The foundation of those who so build is never free from suspicion and shakiness in their hearts, until their hearts are cut to pieces. And Allah is All-Knowing, Wise. |

তাকে বলা হল, এই প্রাসাদে প্রবেশ কর। যখন সে তার প্রতি দৃষ্টিপাত করল সে ধারণা করল যে, এটা স্বচ্ছ গভীর জলাশয়। সে তার পায়ের গোছা খুলে ফেলল। সুলায়মান বলল, এটা তো স্বচ্ছ স্ফটিক নির্মিত প্রাসাদ। বিলকীস বলল, হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আমি তো নিজের প্রতি জুলুম করেছি। আমি সুলায়মানের সাথে বিশ্ব জাহানের পালনকর্তা আল্লাহর কাছে আত্নসমর্পন করলাম।
She was asked to enter the lofty Palace: but when she saw it, she thought it was a lake of water, and she (tucked up her skirts), uncovering her legs. He said: "This is but a palace paved smooth with slabs of glass." She said: "O my Lord! I have indeed wronged my soul: I do (now) submit (in Islam), with Solomon, to the Lord of the Worlds." |

তারা প্রবেশ করবে বসবাসের জান্নাতে। তথায় তারা স্বর্ণনির্মিত, মোতি খচিত কংকন দ্বারা অলংকৃত হবে। সেখানে তাদের পোশাক হবে রেশমের।
Gardens of Eternity will they enter: therein will they be adorned with bracelets of gold and pearls; and their garments there will be of silk. |

সে বললঃ তোমরা স্বহস্ত নির্মিত পাথরের পূজা কর কেন?
He said: "Worship ye that which ye have (yourselves) carved? |
(আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ৯৫) |

কিন্তু যারা তাদের পালনকর্তাকে ভয় করে, তাদের জন্যে নির্মিত রয়েছে প্রাসাদের উপর প্রাসাদ। এগুলোর তলদেশে নদী প্রবাহিত। আল্লাহ প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছেন। আল্লাহ প্রতিশ্রুতির খেলাফ করেন না।
But it is for those who fear their Lord. That lofty mansions, one above another, have been built: beneath them flow rivers (of delight): (such is) the Promise of Allah: never doth Allah fail in (His) promise. |

যদি সব মানুষের এক মতাবলম্বী হয়ে যাওয়ার আশংকা না থাকত, তবে যারা দয়াময় আল্লাহকে অস্বীকার করে আমি তাদেরকে দিতাম তাদের গৃহের জন্যে রৌপ্য নির্মিত ছাদ ও সিঁড়ি, যার উপর তারা চড়ত।
And were it not that (all) men might become of one (evil) way of life, We would provide, for everyone that blasphemes against (Allah) Most Gracious, silver roofs for their houses and (silver) stair-ways on which to go up, |

এবং স্বর্ণনির্মিতও দিতাম। এগুলো সবই তো পার্থিব জীবনের ভোগ সামগ্রী মাত্র। আর পরকাল আপনার পালনকর্তার কাছে তাঁদের জন্যেই যারা ভয় করে।
And also adornments of gold. But all this were nothing but conveniences of the present life: The Hereafter, in the sight of thy Lord is for the Righteous. |

আমি নূহকে আরোহণ করালাম এক কাষ্ঠ ও পেরেক নির্মিত জলযানে।
But We bore him on an (Ark) made of broad planks and caulked with palm-fibre: |

আমি তাদের প্রতি একটিমাত্র নিনাদ প্রেরণ করেছিলাম। এতেই তারা হয়ে গেল শুষ্ক শাখাপল্লব নির্মিত দলিত খোয়াড়ের ন্যায়।
For We sent against them a single Mighty Blast, and they became like the dry stubble used by one who pens cattle. |

তাদের আবরণ হবে চিকন সবুজ রেশম ও মোটা সবুজ রেশম এবং তাদেরকে পরিধান করোনো হবে রৌপ্য নির্মিত কংকণ এবং তাদের পালনকর্তা তাদেরকে পান করাবেন ‘শরাবান-তহুরা’।
Upon them will be green Garments of fine silk and heavy brocade, and they will be adorned with Bracelets of silver; and their Lord will give to them to drink of a Wine Pure and Holy. |
