তিনিই ভুমন্ডলকে বিস্তৃত করেছেন এবং তাতে পাহাড় পর্বত ও নদ-নদী স্থাপন করেছেন এবং প্রত্যেক ফলের মধ্যে দু’দু প্রকার সৃষ্টি করে রেখেছেন। তিনি দিনকে রাত্রি দ্বারা আবৃত করেন। এতে তাদের জন্যে নিদর্শণ রয়েছে, যারা চিন্তা করে।
And it is He who spread out the earth, and set thereon mountains standing firm and (flowing) rivers: and fruit of every kind He made in pairs, two and two: He draweth the night as a veil o'er the Day. Behold, verily in these things there are signs for those who consider! |

তিনিই আল্লাহ, যিনি নভোমন্ডল ও ভুমন্ডল সৃজন করেছেন এবং আকাশ থেকে পানি বর্ষণ করে অতঃপর তা দ্বারা তোমাদের জন্যে ফলের রিযিক উৎপন্ন করেছেন এবং নৌকাকে তোমাদের আজ্ঞাবহ করেছেন, যাতে তাঁর আদেশে সমুদ্রে চলা ফেরা করে এবং নদ-নদীকে তোমাদের সেবায় নিয়োজিত করেছেন।
It is Allah Who hath created the heavens and the earth and sendeth down rain from the skies, and with it bringeth out fruits wherewith to feed you; it is He Who hath made the ships subject to you, that they may sail through the sea by His command; and the rivers (also) hath He made subject to you. |

বল তো কে পৃথিবীকে বাসোপযোগী করেছেন এবং তার মাঝে মাঝে নদ-নদী প্রবাহিত করেছেন এবং তাকে স্থিত রাখার জন্যে পর্বত স্থাপন করেছেন এবং দুই সমুদ্রের মাঝখানে অন্তরায় রেখেছেন। অতএব, আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য কোন উপাস্য আছে কি? বরং তাদের অধিকাংশই জানে না।
Or, Who has made the earth firm to live in; made rivers in its midst; set thereon mountains immovable; and made a separating bar between the two bodies of flowing water? (can there be another) god besides Allah? Nay, most of them know not. |
