মারইয়াম বললঃ আমি তোমা থেকে দয়াময়ের আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করি যদি তুমি আল্লাহভীরু হও।
She said: "I seek refuge from thee to (Allah) Most Gracious: (come not near) if thou dost fear Allah." |
(মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ১৮) |

হে আমার পিতা, শয়তানের এবাদত করো না। নিশ্চয় শয়তান দয়াময়ের অবাধ্য।
"O my father! serve not Satan: for Satan is a rebel against (Allah) Most Gracious. |

হে আমার পিতা, আমি আশঙ্কা করি, দয়াময়ের একটি আযাব তোমাকে স্পর্শ করবে, অতঃপর তুমি শয়তানের সঙ্গী হয়ে যাবে।
"O my father! I fear lest a Penalty afflict thee from (Allah) Most Gracious, so that thou become to Satan a friend." |

সেদিন দয়াময়ের কাছে পরহেযগারদেরকে অতিথিরূপে সমবেত করব,
The day We shall gather the righteous to (Allah) Most Gracious, like a band presented before a king for honours, |

| 5 |
অথচ সন্তান গ্রহণ করা দয়াময়ের জন্য শোভনীয় নয়।
For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. |
