তবে যারা তওবা করে এবং বর্ণিত তথ্যাদির সংশোধন করে মানুষের কাছে তা বর্ণনা করে দেয়, সে সমস্ত লোকের তওবা আমি কবুল করি এবং আমি তওবা কবুলকারী পরম দয়ালু।
Except those who repent and make amends and openly declare (the Truth): To them I turn; for I am Oft-returning, Most Merciful. |

যদি কেউ ওসীয়তকারীর পক্ষ থেকে আশংকা করে পক্ষপাতিত্বের অথবা কোন অপরাধমূলক সিদ্ধান্তের এবং তাদের মধ্যে মীমাংসা করে দেয়, তবে তার কোন গোনাহ হবে না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তা’আলা ক্ষমাশীল, অতি দয়ালু।
But if anyone fears partiality or wrong-doing on the part of the testator, and makes peace between (The parties concerned), there is no wrong in him: For Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. |

বনী ইসরাঈলদিগকে জিজ্ঞেস কর, তাদেরকে আমি কত স্পষ্ট নির্দশনাবলী দান করেছি। আর আল্লাহর নেয়ামত পৌছে যাওয়ার পর যদি কেউ সে নেয়ামতকে পরিবর্তিত করে দেয়, তবে আল্লাহর আযাব অতি কঠিন।
Ask the Children of Israel how many clear (Signs) We have sent them. But if any one, after Allah's favour has come to him, substitutes (something else), Allah is strict in punishment. |

তারপর যদি সে স্ত্রীকে (তৃতীয়বার) তালাক দেয়া হয়, তবে সে স্ত্রী যে পর্যন্ত তাকে ছাড়া অপর কোন স্বামীর সাথে বিয়ে করে না নেবে, তার জন্য হালাল নয়। অতঃপর যদি দ্বিতীয় স্বামী তালাক দিয়ে দেয়, তাহলে তাদের উভয়ের জন্যই পরস্পরকে পুনরায় বিয়ে করাতে কোন পাপ নেই। যদি আল্লাহর হুকুম বজায় রাখার ইচ্ছা থাকে। আর এই হলো আল্লাহ কতৃꦣ2453; নির্ধারিত সীমা; যারা উপলব্ধি করে তাদের জন্য এসব বর্ণনা করা হয়।
So if a husband divorces his wife (irrevocably), He cannot, after that, re-marry her until after she has married another husband and He has divorced her. In that case there is no blame on either of them if they re-unite, provided they feel that they can keep the limits ordained by Allah. Such are the limits ordained by Allah, which He makes plain to those who understand. |

আর তোমরা স্ত্রীদেরকে তাদের মোহর দিয়ে দাও খুশীমনে। তারা যদি খুশী হয়ে তা থেকে অংশ ছেড়ে দেয়, তবে তা তোমরা স্বাচ্ছন্দ্যে ভোগ কর।
And give the women (on marriage) their dower as a free gift; but if they, of their own good pleasure, remit any part of it to you, Take it and enjoy it with right good cheer. |

সে তাদেরকে প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয় এবং তাদেরকে আশ্বাস দেয়। শয়তান তাদেরকে যে প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয়, তা সব প্রতারণা বৈ নয়।
Satan makes them promises, and creates in them false desires; but satan's promises are nothing but deception. |

আপনি বলুনঃ তোমাদের সাক্ষীদেরকে আন, যারা সাক্ষ্য দেয় যে, আল্লাহ তা’আলা এগুলো হারাম করেছেন। যদি তারা সাক্ষ্য দেয়, তবে আপনি এ সাক্ষ্য গ্রহণ করবেন না এবং তাদের কুপ্রবৃত্তির অনুসরণ করবেন না, যারা আমার নির্দেশাবলীকে মিথ্যা বলে, যারা পরকালে বিশ্বাস করে না এবং যারা স্বীয় প্রতিপালকের সমতুল্য অংশীদার করে।
Say: "Bring forward your witnesses to prove that Allah did forbid so and so." If they bring such witnesses, be not thou amongst them: Nor follow thou the vain desires of such as treat our signs as falsehoods, and such as believe not in the Hereafter: for they hold others as equal with their Guardian-Lord. |

আয়াতঃ ১৫০) |

আর তাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ নবীকে ক্লেশ দেয়, এবং বলে, এ লোকটি তো কানসর্বস্ব। আপনি বলে দিন, কান হলেও তোমাদেরই মঙ্গলের জন্য, আল্লাহর উপর বিশ্বাস রাখে এবং বিশ্বাস রাখে মুসলমানদের কথার উপর। বস্তুতঃ তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা ঈমানদার তাদের জন্য তিনি রহমতবিশেষ। আর যারা আল্লাহর রসূলের প্রতি কুৎসা রটনা করে, তাদের জন্য রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব।
Among them are men who molest the Prophet and say, "He is (all) ear." Say, "He listens to what is best for you: he believes in Allah, has faith in the Believers, and is a Mercy to those of you who believe." But those who molest the Messenger will have a grievous penalty. |
(আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৬১) |

যারা আল্লাহর পথে বাধা দেয়, আর তাতে বক্রতা খুজে বেড়ায়, এরাই আখরাতকে অস্বীকার করে।
"Those who would hinder (men) from the path of Allah and would seek in it something crooked: these were they who denied the Hereafter!" |

আর দিনের দুই প্রান্তেই নামায ঠিক রাখবে, এবং রাতের প্রান্তভাগে পূর্ণ কাজ অবশ্যই পাপ দূর করে দেয়, যারা স্মরণ রাখে তাদের জন্য এটি এক মহা স্মারক।
And establish regular prayers at the two ends of the day and at the approaches of the night: For those things, that are good remove those that are evil: Be that the word of remembrance to those who remember (their Lord): |

তোমরা যদি ভাল কর, তবে নিজেদেরই ভাল করবে এবং যদি মন্দ কর তবে তাও নিজেদের জন্যেই। এরপর যখন দ্বিতীয় সে সময়টি এল, তখন অন্য বান্দাদেরকে প্রেরণ করলাম, যাতে তোমাদের মুখমন্ডল বিকৃত করে দেয়, আর মসজিদে ঢুকে পড়ে যেমন প্রথমবার ঢুকেছিল এবং যেখানেই জয়ী হয়, সেখানেই পুরোপুরি ধ্বংসযজ্ঞ চালায়।
If ye did well, ye did well for yourselves; if ye did evil, (ye did it) against yourselves. So when the second of the warnings came to pass, (We permitted your enemies) to disfigure your faces, and to enter your Temple as they had entered it before, and to visit with destruction all that fell into their power. |
(বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৭) |
| 12 |
বরং আমি সত্যকে মিথ্যার উপর নিক্ষেপ করি, অতঃপর সত্য মিথ্যার মস্তক চুর্ণ-বিচূর্ণ করে দেয়, অতঃপর মিথ্যা তৎক্ষণাৎ নিশ্চিহ্ন হয়ে যায়। তোমরা যা বলছ, তার জন্যে তোমাদের দুর্ভোগ।
Nay, We hurl the Truth against falsehood, and it knocks out its brain, and behold, falsehood doth perish! Ah! woe be to you for the (false) things ye ascribe (to Us). |
(আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ১৮) |
| 13 |
যারা কুফর করে ও আল্লাহর পথে বাধা সৃষ্টি করে এবং সেই মসজিদে হারাম থেকে বাধা দেয়, যাকে আমি প্রস্তুত করেছি স্থানীয় ও বহিরাগত সকল মানুষের জন্যে সমভাবে এবং যে মসজিদে হারামে অন্যায়ভাবে কোন ধর্মদ্রোহী কাজ করার ইচছা করে, আমি তাদেরকে যন্ত্রানাদায়ক শাস্তি আস্বাদন করাব।
As to those who have rejected (Allah), and would keep back (men) from the Way of Allah, and from the Sacred Mosque, which We have made (open) to (all) men - equal is the dweller there and the visitor from the country - and any whose purpose therein is profanity or wrong-doing - them will We cause to taste of a most Grievous Penalty. |
(হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ২৫) |

এরপর তারা যেন দৈহিক ময়লা দূর করে দেয়, তাদের মানত পূর্ণ করে এবং এই সুসংরক্ষিত গৃহের তাওয়াফ করে।
"Then let them complete the rites prescribed for them, perform their vows, and (again) circumambulate the Ancient House." |
(হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ২৯) |
| 15 |
মাপ পূর্ণ কর এবং যারা পরিমাপে কম দেয়, তাদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ো না।
"Give just measure, and cause no loss (to others by fraud). |
(আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ১৮১) |
| 16 |
অতঃপর তারা যদি আপনার কথায় সাড়া না দেয়, তবে জানবেন, তারা শুধু নিজের প্রবৃত্তির অনুসরণ করে। আল্লাহর হেদায়েতের পরিবর্তে যে ব্যক্তি নিজ প্রবৃত্তির অনুসরণ করে, তার চাইতে অধিক পথভ্রষ্ট আর কে? নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ জালেম সম্প্রদায়কে পথ দেখান না।
But if they hearken not to thee, know that they only follow their own lusts: and who is more astray than one who follow his own lusts, devoid of guidance from Allah? for Allah guides not people given to wrong-doing. |
(আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৫০) |
| 17 |
তাদেরকে যখন বলা হয়, আল্লাহ যা নাযিল করেছেন, তোমরা তার অনুসরণ কর, তখন তারা বলে, বরং আমরা আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদেরকে যে বিষয়ের উপর পেয়েছি, তারই অনুসরণ করব। শয়তান যদি তাদেরকে জাহান্নামের শাস্তির দিকে দাওয়াত দেয়, তবুও কি?
When they are told to follow the (Revelation) that Allah has sent down, they say: "Nay, we shall follow the ways that we found our fathers (following). "What! even if it is Satan beckoning them to the Penalty of the (Blazing) Fire? |
(লোকমান:
আয়াতঃ ২১) |
| 18 |
যারা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলকে কষ্ট দেয়, আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি ইহকালে ও পরকালে অভিসম্পাত করেন এবং তাদের জন্যে প্রস্তুত রেখেছেন অবমাননাকর শাস্তি।
Those who annoy Allah and His Messenger - Allah has cursed them in this World and in the Hereafter, and has prepared for them a humiliating Punishment. |
(আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ৫৭) |
| 19 |
যারা বিনা অপরাধে মুমিন পুরুষ ও মুমিন নারীদেরকে কষ্ট দেয়, তারা মিথ্যা অপবাদ ও প্রকাশ্য পাপের বোঝা বহন করে।
And those who annoy believing men and women undeservedly, bear (on themselves) a calumny and a glaring sin. |
(আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ৫৮) |
| 20 |
যে আল্লাহর দিকে দাওয়াত দেয়, সৎকর্ম করে এবং বলে, আমি একজন আজ্ঞাবহ, তার কথা অপেক্ষা উত্তম কথা আর কার?
Who is better in speech than one who calls (men) to Allah, works righteousness, and says, "I am of those who bow in Islam"? |
(হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩) |
| 21 |
তোমাদেরকে আল্লাহর পথে ব্যয় করতে কিসে বাধা দেয়, যখন আল্লাহই নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের উত্তরাধিকারী? তোমাদের মধ্যে যে মক্কা বিজয়ের পূর্বে ব্যয় করেছে ও জেহাদ করেছে, সে সমান নয়। এরূপ লোকদের মর্যদা বড় তাদের অপেক্ষা, যার পরে ব্যয় করেছে ও জেহাদ করেছে। তবে আল্লাহ উভয়কে কল্যাণের ওয়াদা দিয়েছেন। তোমরা যা কর, আল্লাহ সে সম্পর্কে সম্যক জ্ঞাত।
And what cause have ye why ye should not spend in the cause of Allah?- For to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. Not equal among you are those who spent (freely) and fought, before the Victory, (with those who did so later). Those are higher in rank than those who spent (freely) and fought afterwards. But to all has Allah promised a goodly (reward). And Allah is well acquainted with all that ye do. |
(আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ১০) |
| 22 |
নিশ্চয় দানশীল ব্যক্তি ও দানশীলা নারী, যারা আল্লাহকে উত্তমরূপে ধার দেয়, তাদেরকে দেয়া হবে বহুগুণ এবং তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে সম্মানজনক পুরস্কার।
For those who give in Charity, men and women, and loan to Allah a Beautiful Loan, it shall be increased manifold (to their credit), and they shall have (besides) a liberal reward. |
(আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ১৮) |
| 23 |
যারা কৃপণতা করে এবং মানুষকে কৃপণতার প্রতি উৎসাহ দেয়, যে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তার জানা উচিত যে, আল্লাহ অভাবমুক্ত, প্রশংসিত।
Such persons as are covetous and commend covetousness to men. And if any turn back (from Allah's Way), verily Allah is Free of all Needs, Worthy of all Praise. |
(আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ২৪) |
| 24 |
যে ভাল কাজে বাধা দেয়, সে সীমালংঘন করে, সে পাপিষ্ঠ,
(Habitually) hindering (all) good, transgressing beyond bounds, deep in sin, |
(আল কলম:
আয়াতঃ ১২) |
| 25 |
এবং যখন লোকদেরকে মেপে দেয় কিংবা ওজন করে দেয়, তখন কম করে দেয়।
But when they have to give by measure or weight to men, give less than due. |
(আত-তাতফীফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩) |
