বরং আমরাও তো বলি যে, আমাদের কোন দেবতা তোমার উপরে শোচনীয় ভূত চাপিয়ে দিয়েছে। হুদ বললেন-আমি আল্লাহকে সাক্ষী করেছি আর তোমাও সাক্ষী থাক যে, আমার কোন সম্পর্ক নাই তাঁদের সাথে যাদের কে তোমরা শরিক করছ;
"We say nothing but that (perhaps) some of our gods may have seized thee with imbecility." He said: "I call Allah to witness, and do ye bear witness, that I am free from the sin of ascribing, to Him, |

তাদের দেবতা গুলোর মধ্যে কেউ তাদের সুপারিশ করবে না। এবং তারা তাদের দেবতাকে অস্বীকার করবে।
No intercessor will they have among their "Partners" and they will (themselves) reject their "Partners". |

তোমরা কি বা’আল দেবতার এবাদত করবে এবং সর্বোত্তম স্রষ্টাকে পরিত্যাগ করবে।
"Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- |

তাদের কি এমন শরীক দেবতা আছে, যারা তাদের জন্যে সে ধর্ম সিদ্ধ করেছে, যার অনুমতি আল্লাহ দেননি ? যদি চুড়ান্ত সিন্ধান্ত না থাকত, তবে তাদের ব্যাপারে ফয়সালা হয়ে যেত। নিশ্চয় যালেমদের জন্যে রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি।
What! have they partners (in godhead), who have established for them some religion without the permission of Allah? Had it not been for the Decree of Judgment, the matter would have been decided between them (at once). But verily the Wrong-doers will have a grievous Penalty. |
