আর আল্লাহর হুকুম ছাড়া কেউ মরতে পারে না-সেজন্য একটা সময় নির্ধারিত রয়েছে। বস্তুতঃ যে লোক দুনিয়ায় বিনিময় কামনা করবে, আমি তাকে তা দুনিয়াতেই দান করব। পক্ষান্তরে-যে লোক আখেরাতে বিনিময় কামনা করবে, তা থেকে আমি তাকে তাই দেবো। আর যারা কৃতজ্ঞ তাদেরকে আমি প্রতিদান দেবো
Nor can a soul die except by Allah's leave, the term being fixed as by writing. If any do desire a reward in this life, We shall give it to him; and if any do desire a reward in the Hereafter, We shall give it to him. And swiftly shall We reward those that (serve us with) gratitude. |

যে ব্যক্তি পার্থিবজীবন ও তার চাকচিক্যই কামনা করে, হয় আমি তাদের দুনিয়াতেই তাদের আমলের প্রতিফল ভোগ করিয়ে দেব এবং তাতে তাদের প্রতি কিছুমাত্র কমতি করা হয় না।
Those who desire the life of the present and its glitter,- to them we shall pay (the price of) their deeds therein,- without diminution. |
