যখন আমি কা’বা গৃহকে মানুষের জন্যে সম্মিলন স্থল ও শান্তির আলয় করলাম, আর তোমরা ইব্রাহীমের দাঁড়ানোর জায়গাকে নামাযের জায়গা বানাও এবং আমি ইব্রাহীম ও ইসমাঈলকে আদেশ করলাম, তোমরা আমার গৃহকে তওয়াফকারী, অবস্থানকারী ও রুকু-সেজদাকারীদের জন্য পবিত্র রাখ।
Remember We made the House a place of assembly for men and a place of safety; and take ye the station of Abraham as a place of prayer; and We covenanted with Abraham and Isma'il, that they should sanctify My House for those who compass it round, or use it as a retreat, or bow, or prostrate themselves (therein in prayer). |

শপথ তাদের যারা সারিবদ্ধ হয়ে দাঁড়ানো,
By those who range themselves in ranks, |

তারা যখন কোন ব্যবসায়ের সুযোগ অথবা ক্রীড়াকৌতুক দেখে তখন আপনাকে দাঁড়ানো অবস্থায় রেখে তারা সেদিকে ছুটে যায়। বলুনঃ আল্লাহর কাছে যা আছে, তা ক্রীড়াকৌতুক ও ব্যবসায় অপেক্ষা উৎকৃষ্ট। আল্লাহ সর্বোত্তম রিযিকদাতা।
But when they see some bargain or some amusement, they disperse headlong to it, and leave thee standing. Say: "The (blessing) from the Presence of Allah is better than any amusement or bargain! and Allah is the Best to provide (for all needs)." |
