কেমন করে তোমরা আল্লাহর ব্যাপারে কুফরী অবলম্বন করছ? অথচ তোমরা ছিলে নিষ্প্রাণ। অতঃপর তিনিই তোমাদেরকে প্রাণ দান করেছেন, আবার মৃত্যু দান করবেন। পুনরায় তোমাদেরকে জীবনদান করবেন। অতঃপর তারই প্রতি প্রত্যাবর্তন করবে।
How can ye reject the faith in Allah?- seeing that ye were without life, and He gave you life; then will He cause you to die, and will again bring you to life; and again to Him will ye return. |

তিনি বললেন, হে আদম, ফেরেশতাদেরকে বলে দাও এসবের নাম। তারপর যখন তিনি বলে দিলেন সে সবের নাম, তখন তিনি বললেন, আমি কি তোমাদেরকে বলিনি যে, আমি আসমান ও যমীনের যাবতীয় গোপন বিষয় সম্পর্কে খুব ভাল করেই অবগত রয়েছি? এবং সেসব বিষয়ও জানি যা তোমরা প্রকাশ কর, আর যা তোমরা গোপন কর!
He said: "O Adam! Tell them their names." When he had told them, Allah said: "Did I not tell you that I know the secrets of heaven and earth, and I know what ye reveal and what ye conceal?" |

অনন্তর শয়তান তাদের উভয়কে ওখান থেকে পদস্খলিত করেছিল। পরে তারা যে সুখ-স্বাচ্ছন্দ্যে ছিল তা থেকে তাদেরকে বের করে দিল এবং আমি বললাম, তোমরা নেমে যাও। তোমরা পরস্পর একে অপরের শক্র হবে এবং তোমাদেরকে সেখানে কিছুকাল অবস্থান করতে হবে ও লাভ সংগ্রহ করতে হবে।
Then did Satan make them slip from the (garden), and get them out of the state (of felicity) in which they had been. We said: "Get ye down, all (ye people), with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling-place and your means of livelihood - for a time." |

হে বনী-ইসরাঈলগণ, তোমরা স্মরণ কর আমার সে অনুগ্রহ যা আমি তোমাদের প্রতি করেছি এবং তোমরা পূরণ কর আমার সাথে কৃত প্রতিজ্ঞা, তাহলে আমি তোমাদেরকে প্রদত্ত প্রতিশ্রুতি পূরণ করব। আর ভয় কর আমাকেই।
O Children of Israel! call to mind the (special) favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfil your covenant with Me as I fulfil My Covenant with you, and fear none but Me. |

হে বনী-ইসরাঈলগণ! তোমরা স্মরণ কর আমার অনুগ্রহের কথা, যা আমি তোমাদের উপর করেছি এবং (স্মরণ কর) সে বিষয়টি যে, আমি তোমাদেরকে উচ্চমর্যাদা দান করেছি সমগ্র বিশ্বের উপর।
Children of Israel! call to mind the (special) favour which I bestowed upon you, and that I preferred you to all other (for My Message). |

আর যখন আমি তোমাদের জন্য সাগরকে দ্বিখন্ডিত করেছি, অতঃপর তোমাদেরকে বাঁচিয়ে দিয়েছি এবং ডুবিয়ে দিয়েছি ফেরআউনের লোকদিগকে অথচ তোমরা দেখছিলে।
And remember We divided the sea for you and saved you and drowned Pharaoh's people within your very sight. |

তারপর আমি তাতেও তোমাদেরকে ক্ষমা করে দিয়েছি, যাতে তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞতা স্বীকার করে নাও।
Even then We did forgive you; there was a chance for you to be grateful. |

আয়াতঃ ৫২) |

আর আমি তোমাদের উপর ছায়া দান করেছি মেঘমালার দ্বারা এবং তোমাদের জন্য খাবার পাঠিয়েছি ’মান্না’ ও সালওয়া’। সেসব পবিত্র বস্তু তোমরা ভক্ষন কর, যা আমি তোমাদেরকে দান করেছি। বস্তুতঃ তারা আমার কোন ক্ষতি করতে পারেনি, বরং নিজেদেরই ক্ষতি সাধন করেছে।
And We gave you the shade of clouds and sent down to you Manna and quails, saying: "Eat of the good things We have provided for you:" (But they rebelled); to us they did no harm, but they harmed their own souls. |

অতঃপর আমি বললামঃ গরুর একটি খন্ড দ্বারা মৃতকে আঘাত কর। এভাবে আল্লাহ মৃতকে জীবিত করেন এবং তোমাদেরকে তাঁর নিদর্শণ সমূহ প্রদর্শন করেন-যাতে তোমরা চিন্তা কর।
So We said: "Strike the (body) with a piece of the (heifer)." Thus Allah bringeth the dead to life and showeth you His Signs: Perchance ye may understand. |

আয়াতঃ ৭৩) |

যখন তারা মুসলমানদের সাথে মিলিত হয়, তখন বলেঃ আমরা মুসলমান হয়েছি। আর যখন পরস্পরের সাথে নিভৃতে অবস্থান করে, তখন বলে, পালনকর্তা তোমাদের জন্যে যা প্রকাশ করেছেন, তা কি তাদের কাছে বলে দিচ্ছ? তাহলে যে তারা এ নিয়ে পালকর্তার সামনে তোমাদেরকে মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করবে। তোমরা কি তা উপলব্ধি কর না?
Behold! when they meet the men of Faith, they say: "We believe": But when they meet each other in private, they say: "Shall you tell them what Allah hath revealed to you, that they may engage you in argument about it before your Lord?"- Do ye not understand (their aim)? |

আহলে কিতাবদের অনেকেই প্রতিহিংসাবশতঃ চায় যে, মুসলমান হওয়ার পর তোমাদেরকে কোন রকমে কাফের বানিয়ে দেয়। তাদের কাছে সত্য প্রকাশিত হওয়ার পর (তারা এটা চায়)। যাক তোমরা আল্লাহর নির্দেশ আসা পর্যন্ত তাদের ক্ষমা কর এবং উপেক্ষা কর। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর ক্ষমতাবান।
Quite a number of the People of the Book wish they could Turn you (people) back to infidelity after ye have believed, from selfish envy, after the Truth hath become Manifest unto them: But forgive and overlook, Till Allah accomplish His purpose; for Allah Hath power over all things. |

হে বনী-ইসরাঈল! আমার অনুগ্রহের কথা স্মরণ কর, যা আমি তোমাদের দিয়েছি। আমি তোমাদেরকে বিশ্বাবাসীর উপর শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দান করেছি।
O Children of Israel! call to mind the special favour which I bestowed upon you, and that I preferred you to all others (for My Message). |

এমনিভাবে আমি তোমাদেরকে মধ্যপন্থী সম্প্রদায় করেছি যাতে করে তোমরা সাক্ষ্যদাতা হও মানবমন্ডলীর জন্যে এবং যাতে রসূল সাক্ষ্যদাতা হন তোমাদের জন্য। আপনি যে কেবলার উপর ছিলেন, তাকে আমি এজন্যই কেবলা করেছিলাম, যাতে একথা প্রতীয়মান হয় যে, কে রসূলের অনুসারী থাকে আর কে পিঠটান দেয়। নিশ্চিতই এটা কঠোরতর বিষয়, কিন্তু তাদের জন্যে নয়, যাদেরকে আল্লাহ পথপ্রদর্শন করেছেন। আল্লাহ এমন নন যে, তোমাদের ঈমান নষ্ট করে দেবেন। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ, মানুষের প্রতি অত্যন্ত স্নেহশীল, করুনাময়।
Thus, have We made of you an Ummat justly balanced, that ye might be witnesses over the nations, and the Messenger a witness over yourselves; and We appointed the Qibla to which thou wast used, only to test those who followed the Messenger from those who would turn on their heels (From the Faith). Indeed it was (A change) momentous, except to those guided by Allah. And never would Allah Make your faith of no effect. For Allah is to all people Most surely full of kindness, Most Merciful. |

আর সবার জন্যই রয়েছে কেবলা একেক দিকে, যে দিকে সে মুখ করে (এবাদত করবে)। কাজেই সৎকাজে প্রতিযোগিতামূলকভাবে এগিয়ে যাও। যেখানেই তোমরা থাকবে, আল্লাহ অবশ্যই তোমাদেরকে সমবেত করবেন। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ সর্ব বিষয়ে ক্ষমতাশীল।
To each is a goal to which Allah turns him; then strive together (as in a race) Towards all that is good. Wheresoever ye are, Allah will bring you Together. For Allah Hath power over all things. |

আয়াতঃ ১৪৮) |

হে ঈমানদারগণ, তোমরা পবিত্র বস্তু সামগ্রী আহার কর, যেগুলো আমি তোমাদেরকে রুযী হিসাবে দান করেছি এবং শুকরিয়া আদায় কর আল্লাহর, যদি তোমরা তাঁরই বন্দেগী কর।
O ye who believe! Eat of the good things that We have provided for you, and be grateful to Allah, if it is Him ye worship. |

আয়াতঃ ১৭২) |

রোযার রাতে তোমাদের স্ত্রীদের সাথে সহবাস করা তোমাদের জন্য হালাল করা হয়েছে। তারা তোমাদের পরিচ্ছদ এবং তোমরা তাদের পরিচ্ছদ। আল্লাহ অবগত রয়েছেন যে, তোমরা আত্নপ্রতারণা করছিলে, সুতরাং তিনি তোমাদেরকে ক্ষমা করেছেন এবং তোমাদের অব্যাহতি দিয়েছেন। অতঃপর তোমরা নিজেদের স্ত্রীদের সাথে সহবাস কর এবং যা কিছু তোমাদের জন্য আল্লাহ দান করেছেন, তা আহরন কর। আর পানাহার কর যতক্ষণ না কাল রেখা থেকে ভোরের শুভ্র রেখা পরিষ্কার দেখা যায়। অতঃপর রোযা পূর্ণ কর রাত পর্যন্ত। আর যতক্ষণ তোমরা এতেকাফ অবস্থায় মসজিদে অবস্থান কর, ততক্ষণ পর্যন্ত স্ত্রীদের সাথে মিশো না। এই হলো আল্লাহ কর্তৃক বেঁধে দেয়া সীমানা। অতএব, এর কাছেও যেও না। এমনিভাবে বর্ণনা করেন আল্লাহ নিজের আয়াত সমূহ মানুষের জন্য, যাতে তারা বাঁচতে পারে।
Permitted to you, on the night of the fasts, is the approach to your wives. They are your garments and ye are their garments. Allah knoweth what ye used to do secretly among yourselves; but He turned to you and forgave you; so now associate with them, and seek what Allah Hath ordained for you, and eat and drink, until the white thread of dawn appear to you distinct from its black thread; then complete your fast Till the night appears; but do not associate with your wives while ye are in retreat in the mosques. Those are Limits (set by) Allah: Approach not nigh thereto. Thus doth Allah make clear His Signs to men: that they may learn self-restraint. |

আর তাদেরকে হত্যাকর যেখানে পাও সেখানেই এবং তাদেরকে বের করে দাও সেখান থেকে যেখান থেকে তারা বের করেছে তোমাদেরকে। বস্তুতঃ ফেতনা ফ্যাসাদ বা দাঙ্গা-হাঙ্গামা সৃষ্টি করা হত্যার চেয়েও কঠিন অপরাধ। আর তাদের সাথে লড়াই করো না মসজিদুল হারামের নিকটে যতক্ষণ না তারা তোমাদের সাথে সেখানে লড়াই করে। অবশ্য যদি তারা নিজেরাই তোমাদের সাথে লড়াই করে। তাহলে তাদেরকে হত্যা কর। এই হল কাফেরদের শাস্তি।
And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have Turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred Mosque, unless they (first) fight you there; but if they fight you, slay them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith. |

আয়াতঃ ১৯১) |
| 18 |
আর তোমার কাছে জিজ্ঞেস করে হায়েয (ঋতু) সম্পর্কে। বলে দাও, এটা অশুচি। কাজেই তোমরা হায়েয অবস্থায় স্ত্রীগমন থেকে বিরত থাক। তখন পর্যন্ত তাদের নিকটবর্তী হবে না, যতক্ষণ না তারা পবিত্র হয়ে যায়। যখন উত্তম রূপে পরিশুদ্ধ হয়ে যাবে, তখন গমন কর তাদের কাছে, যেভাবে আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে হুকুম দিয়েছেন। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ তওবাকারী এবং অপবিত্রতা থেকে যারা বেঁচে থাকে তাদেরকে পছন্দ করেন।
They ask thee concerning women's courses. Say: They are a hurt and a pollution: So keep away from women in their courses, and do not approach them until they are clean. But when they have purified themselves, ye may approach them in any manner, time, or place ordained for you by Allah. For Allah loves those who turn to Him constantly and He loves those who keep themselves pure and clean. |

আয়াতঃ ২২২) |
| 19 |
তোমাদের স্ত্রীরা হলো তোমাদের জন্য শস্য ক্ষেত্র। তোমরা যেভাবে ইচ্ছা তাদেরকে ব্যবহার কর। আর নিজেদের জন্য আগামী দিনের ব্যবস্থা কর এবং আল্লাহকে ভয় করতে থাক। আর নিশ্চিতভাবে জেনে রাখ যে, আল্লাহর সাথে তোমাদেরকে সাক্ষাত করতেই হবে। আর যারা ঈমান এনেছে তাদেরকে সুসংবাদ জানিয়ে দাও।
Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will; but do some good act for your souls beforehand; and fear Allah. And know that ye are to meet Him (in the Hereafter), and give (these) good tidings to those who believe. |
(আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২২৩) |

তোমাদের নিরর্থক শপথের জন্য আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে ধরবেন না, কিন্তু সেসব কসমের ব্যাপারে ধরবেন, তোমাদের মন যার প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছে। আর আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন ক্ষমাকারী ধৈর্য্যশীল।
Allah will not call you to account for thoughtlessness in your oaths, but for the intention in your hearts; and He is Oft-forgiving, Most Forbearing. |
(আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২২৫) |
| 21 |
আর যখন তোমরা স্ত্রীদেরকে তালাক দিয়ে দাও, অতঃপর তারা নির্ধারিত ইদ্দত সমাপ্ত করে নেয়, তখন তোমরা নিয়ম অনুযায়ী তাদেরকে রেখে দাও অথবা সহানুভুতির সাথে তাদেরকে মুক্ত করে দাও। আর তোমরা তাদেরকে জ্বালাতন ও বাড়াবাড়ি করার উদ্দেশ্যে আটকে রেখো না। আর যারা এমন করবে, নিশ্চয়ই তারা নিজেদেরই ক্ষতি করবে। আর আল্লাহর নির্দেশকে হাস্যকর বিষয়ে পরিণত করো না। আল্লাহর সে অনুগ্রহের কথা স্মরণ কর, যা তোমাদের উপর রয়েছে এবং তাও স্মরণ কর, যে কিতাব ও জ্ঞানের কথা তোমাদের উপর নাযিল করা হয়েছে যার দ্বারা তোমাদেরকে উপদেশ দান করা হয়। আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং জেনে রাখ যে, আল্লাহ সর্ববিষয়েই জ্ঞানময়।
When ye divorce women, and they fulfil the term of their ('Iddat), either take them back on equitable terms or set them free on equitable terms; but do not take them back to injure them, (or) to take undue advantage; if any one does that; He wrongs his own soul. Do not treat Allah's Signs as a jest, but solemnly rehearse Allah's favours on you, and the fact that He sent down to you the Book and Wisdom, for your instruction. And fear Allah, and know that Allah is well acquainted with all things. |

| 22 |
এগুলো হলো আল্লাহর নিদর্শন, যা আমরা তোমাদেরকে যথাযথভাবে শুনিয়ে থাকি। আর আপনি নিশ্চিতই আমার রসূলগণের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।
These are the Signs of Allah: we rehearse them to thee in truth: verily Thou art one of the messengers. |
(আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৫২) |
| 23 |
হে ঈমানদারগণ! আমি তোমাদেরকে যে রুযী দিয়েছি, সেদিন আসার পূর্বেই তোমরা তা থেকে ব্যয় কর, যাতে না আছে বেচা-কেনা, না আছে সুপারিশ কিংবা বন্ধুত্ব। আর কাফেররাই হলো প্রকৃত যালেম।
O ye who believe! Spend out of (the bounties) We have provided for you, before the Day comes when no bargaining (Will avail), nor friendship nor intercession. Those who reject Faith they are the wrong-doers. |

আয়াতঃ ২৫৪) |
| 24 |
শয়তান তোমাদেরকে অভাব অনটনের ভীতি প্রদর্শন করে এবং অশ্লীলতার আদেশ দেয়। পক্ষান্তরে আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে নিজের পক্ষ থেকে ক্ষমা ও বেশী অনুগ্রহের ওয়াদা করেন। আল্লাহ প্রাচুর্যময়, সুবিজ্ঞ।
The Evil one threatens you with poverty and bids you to conduct unseemly. Allah promiseth you His forgiveness and bounties. And Allah careth for all and He knoweth all things. |
(আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৬৮) |
| 25 |
হে মুমিনগণ! যখন তোমরা কোন নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের জন্যে ঋনের আদান-প্রদান কর, তখন তা লিপিবদ্ধ করে নাও এবং তোমাদের মধ্যে কোন লেখক ন্যায়সঙ্গতভাবে তা লিখে দেবে; লেখক লিখতে অস্বীকার করবে না। আল্লাহ তাকে যেমন শিক্ষা দিয়েছেন, তার উচিত তা লিখে দেয়া। এবং ঋন গ্রহীতা যেন লেখার বিষয় বলে দেয় এবং সে যেন স্বীয় পালনকর্তা আল্লাহকে ভয় করে এবং লেখার মধ্যে বিন্দুমাত্রও বেশ কম না করে। অতঃপর ঋণগ্রহীতা যদি নির্বোধ হয় কিংবা দূর্বল হয় অথবা নিজে লেখার বিষয়বস্তু বলে দিতে অক্ষম হয়, তবে তার অভিভাবক ন্যায়সঙ্গতভাবে লিখাবে। দুজন সাক্ষী কর, তোমাদের পুরুষদের মধ্যে থেকে। যদি দুজন পুরুষ না হয়, তবে একজন পুরুষ ও দুজন মহিলা। ঐ সাক্ষীদের মধ্য থেকে যাদেরকে তোমরা পছন্দ কর যাতে একজন যদি ভুলে যায়, তবে একজন অন্যজনকে স্মরণ করিয়ে দেয়। যখন ডাকা হয়, তখন সাক্ষীদের অস্বীকার করা উচিত নয়। তোমরা এটা লিখতে অলসতা করোনা, তা ছোট হোক কিংবা বড়, নির্দিষ্ট সময় পর্যন্ত। এ লিপিবদ্ধ করণ আল্লাহর কাছে সুবিচারকে অধিক কায়েম রাখে, সাক্ষ্যকে অধিক সুসংহত রাখে এবং তোমাদের সন্দেহে পতিত না হওয়ার পক্ষে অধিক উপযুক্ত। কিন্তু যদি কারবার নগদ হয়, পরস্পর হাতে হাতে আদান-প্রদান কর, তবে তা না লিখলে তোমাদের প্রতি কোন অভিযোগ নেই। তোমরা ক্রয়-বিক্রয়ের সময় সাক্ষী রাখ। কোন লেখক ও সাক্ষীকে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত করো না। যদি তোমরা এরূপ কর, তবে তা তোমাদের পক্ষে পাপের বিষয়। আল্লাহকে ভয় কর তিনি তোমাদেরকে শিক্ষা দেন। আল্লাহ সব কিছু জানেন।
O ye who believe! When ye deal with each other, in transactions involving future obligations in a fixed period of time, reduce them to writing Let a scribe write down faithfully as between the parties: let not the scribe refuse to write: as Allah Has taught him, so let him write. Let him who incurs the liability dictate, but let him fear His Lord Allah, and not diminish aught of what he owes. If they party liable is mentally deficient, or weak, or unable Himself to dictate, Let his guardian dictate faithfully, and get two witnesses, out of your own men, and if there are not two men, then a man and two women, such as ye choose, for witnesses, so that if one of them errs, the other can remind her. The witnesses should not refuse when they are called on (For evidence). Disdain not to reduce to writing (your contract) for a future period, whether it be small or big: it is juster in the sight of Allah, More suitable as evidence, and more convenient to prevent doubts among yourselves but if it be a transaction which ye carry out on the spot among yourselves, there is no blame on you if ye reduce it not to writing. But take witness whenever ye make a commercial contract; and let neither scribe nor witness suffer harm. If ye do (such harm), it would be wickedness in you. So fear Allah; For it is Good that teaches you. And Allah is well acquainted with all things. If ye are on a journey, and cannot find a scribe, a pledge with possession (may serve the purpose). And if one of you deposits a thing on trust with another, let the trustee (faithfully) discharge his trust, and let him Fear his Lord conceal not evidence; for whoever conceals it, - his heart is tainted with sin. And Allah knoweth all that ye do. |

আয়াতঃ ২৮২) |

বলুন, আমি কি তোমাদেরকে এসবের চাইতেও উত্তম বিষয়ের সন্ধান বলবো?-যারা পরহেযগার, আল্লাহর নিকট তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে বেহেশত, যার তলদেশে প্রস্রবণ প্রবাহিত-তারা সেখানে থাকবে অনন্তকাল। আর রয়েছে পরিচ্ছন্ন সঙ্গিনীগণ এবং আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি। আর আল্লাহ তাঁর বান্দাদের প্রতি সুদৃষ্টি রাখেন।
Say: Shall I give you glad tidings of things Far better than those? For the righteous are Gardens in nearness to their Lord, with rivers flowing beneath; therein is their eternal home; with companions pure (and holy); and the good pleasure of Allah. For in Allah's sight are (all) His servants,- |

আর বণী ইসরাঈলদের জন্যে রসূল হিসেবে তাকে মনোনীত করবেন। তিনি বললেন নিশ্চয়ই আমি তোমাদের নিকট তোমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে এসেছি নিদর্শনসমূহ নিয়ে। আমি তোমাদের জন্য মাটির দ্বারা পাখীর আকৃতি তৈরী করে দেই। তারপর তাতে যখন ফুৎকার প্রদান করি, তখন তা উড়ন্ত পাখীতে পরিণত হয়ে যায় আল্লাহর হুকুমে। আর আমি সুস্থ করে তুলি জন্মান্ধকে এবং শ্বেত কুষ্ঠ রোগীকে। আর আমি জীবিত করে দেই মৃতকে আল্লাহর হুকুমে। আর আমি তোমাদেরকে বলে দেই যা তোমরা খেয়ে আস এবং যা তোমরা ঘরে রেখে আস। এতে প্রকৃষ্ট নিদর্শন রয়েছে, যদি তোমরা বিশ্বাসী হও।
"And (appoint him) a messenger to the Children of Israel, (with this message): "'I have come to you, with a Sign from your Lord, in that I make for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah's leave: And I heal those born blind, and the lepers, and I quicken the dead, by Allah's leave; and I declare to you what ye eat, and what ye store in your houses. Surely therein is a Sign for you if ye did believe; |

আমি তোমাদেরকে পড়ে শুনাই এ সমস্ত আয়াত এবং নিশ্চিত বর্ণনা।
"This is what we rehearse unto thee of the Signs and the Message of Wisdom." |

তাছাড়া তোমাদেরকে একথা বলাও সম্ভব নয় যে, তোমরা ফেরেশতা ও নবীগনকে নিজেদের পালনকর্তা সাব্যস্ত করে নাও। তোমাদের মুসলমান হবার পর তারা কি তোমাদেরকে কুফরী শেখাবে?
Nor would he instruct you to take angels and prophets for Lords and patrons. What! would he bid you to unbelief after ye have bowed your will (To Allah in Islam)? |

আর তোমরা সকলে আল্লাহর রজ্জুকে সুদৃঢ় হস্তে ধারণ কর; পরস্পর বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ো না। আর তোমরা সে নেয়ামতের কথা স্মরণ কর, যা আল্লাহ তোমাদিগকে দান করেছেন। তোমরা পরস্পর শত্রু ছিলে। অতঃপর আল্লাহ তোমাদের মনে সম্প্রীতি দান করেছেন। ফলে, এখন তোমরা তাঁর অনুগ্রহের কারণে পরস্পর ভাই ভাই হয়েছ। তোমরা এক অগ্নিকুন্ডের পাড়ে অবস্থান করছিলে। অতঃপর তা থেকে তিনি তোমাদেরকে মুক্তি দিয়েছেন। এভাবেই আল্লাহ নিজের নিদর্শনসমুহ প্রকাশ করেন, যাতে তোমরা হেদায়েত প্রাপ্ত হতে পার।
And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude Allah's favour on you; for ye were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, ye became brethren; and ye were on the brink of the pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus doth Allah make His Signs clear to you: That ye may be guided. |

হে ঈমানদারগণ! তোমরা যদি কাফেরদের কথা শোন, তাহলে ওরা তোমাদেরকে পেছনে ফিরিয়ে দেবে, তাতে তোমরা ক্ষতির সম্মুখীণ হয়ে পড়বে।
O ye who believe! If ye obey the Unbelievers, they will drive you back on your heels, and ye will turn back (from Faith) to your own loss. |

আয়াতঃ ১৪৯) |

হে মানব সমাজ! তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তাকে ভয় কর, যিনি তোমাদেরকে এক ব্যক্তি থেকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং যিনি তার থেকে তার সঙ্গীনীকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন; আর বিস্তার করেছেন তাদের দু’জন থেকে অগণিত পুরুষ ও নারী। আর আল্লাহকে ভয় কর, যাঁর নামে তোমরা একে অপরের নিকট যাচঞ্ঝা করে থাক এবং আত্নীয় জ্ঞাতিদের ব্যাপারে সতর্কতা অবলম্বন কর। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তোমাদের ব্যাপারে সচেতন রয়েছেন।
O mankind! reverence your Guardian-Lord, who created you from a single person, created, of like nature, His mate, and from them twain scattered (like seeds) countless men and women;- reverence Allah, through whom ye demand your mutual (rights), and (reverence) the wombs (That bore you): for Allah ever watches over you. |

আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে তোমাদের সন্তানদের সম্পর্কে আদেশ করেনঃ একজন পুরুষের অংশ দু?জন নারীর অংশের সমান। অতঃপর যদি শুধু নারীই হয় দু' এর অধিক, তবে তাদের জন্যে ঐ মালের তিন ভাগের দুই ভাগ যা ত্যাগ করে মরে এবং যদি একজনই হয়, তবে তার জন্যে অর্ধেক। মৃতের পিতা-মাতার মধ্য থেকে প্রত্যেকের জন্যে ত্যাজ্য সম্পত্তির ছয় ভাগের এক ভাগ, যদি মৃতের পুত্র থাকে। যদি পুত্র না থাকে এবং পিতা-মাতাই ওয়ারিস হয়, তবে মাতা পাবে তিন ভাগের এক ভাগ। অতঃপর যদি মৃতের কয়েকজন ভাই থাকে, তবে তার মাতা পাবে ছয় ভাগের এক ভাগ ওছিয়্যতের পর, যা করে মরেছে কিংবা ঋণ পরিশোধের পর। তোমাদের পিতা ও পুত্রের মধ্যে কে তোমাদের জন্যে অধিক উপকারী তোমরা জান না। এটা আল্লাহ কতৃক নির্ধারিত অংশ নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সর্বজ্ঞ, রহস্যবিদ।
Allah (thus) directs you as regards your Children's (Inheritance): to the male, a portion equal to that of two females: if only daughters, two or more, their share is two-thirds of the inheritance; if only one, her share is a half. For parents, a sixth share of the inheritance to each, if the deceased left children; if no children, and the parents are the (only) heirs, the mother has a third; if the deceased Left brothers (or sisters) the mother has a sixth. (The distribution in all cases ('s) after the payment of legacies and debts. Ye know not whether your parents or your children are nearest to you in benefit. These are settled portions ordained by Allah; and Allah is All-knowing, Al-wise. |

তোমাদের জন্যে হারাম করা হয়েছে তোমাদের মাতা, তোমাদের কন্যা, তোমাদের বোন, তোমাদের ফুফু, তোমাদের খালা, ভ্রাতৃকণ্যা; ভগিনীকণ্যা তোমাদের সে মাতা, যারা তোমাদেরকে স্তন্যপান করিয়েছে, তোমাদের দুধ-বোন, তোমাদের স্ত্রীদের মাতা, তোমরা যাদের সাথে সহবাস করেছ সে স্ত্রীদের কন্যা যারা তোমাদের লালন-পালনে আছে। যদি তাদের সাথে সহবাস না করে থাক, তবে এ বিবাহে তোমাদের কোন গোনাহ নেই। তোমাদের ঔরসজাত পুত্রদের স্ত্রী এবং দুই বোনকে একত্রে বিবাহ করা; কিন্তু যা অতীত হয়ে গেছে। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ ক্ষমাকরী, দয়ালু।
Prohibited to you (For marriage) are:- Your mothers, daughters, sisters; father's sisters, Mother's sisters; brother's daughters, sister's daughters; foster-mothers (Who gave you suck), foster-sisters; your wives' mothers; your step-daughters under your guardianship, born of your wives to whom ye have gone in,- no prohibition if ye have not gone in;- (Those who have been) wives of your sons proceeding from your loins; and two sisters in wedlock at one and the same time, except for what is past; for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful;- |

আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্যে সব কিছু পরিষ্কার বর্ণনা করে দিতে চান, তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের পথ প্রদর্শন করতে চান। এবং তোমাদেরকে ক্ষমা করতে চান, আল্লাহ মহাজ্ঞানী রহস্যবিদ।
Allah doth wish to make clear to you and to show you the ordinances of those before you; and (He doth wish to) turn to you (In Mercy): And Allah is All-knowing, All-wise. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ২৬) |

তোমরা যেখানেই থাক না কেন; মৃত্যু কিন্তু তোমাদেরকে পাকড়াও করবেই। যদি তোমরা সুদৃঢ় দূর্গের ভেতরেও অবস্থান কর, তবুও। বস্তুতঃ তাদের কোন কল্যাণ সাধিত হলে তারা বলে যে, এটা সাধিত হয়েছে আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে। আর যদি তাদের কোন অকল্যাণ হয়, তবে বলে, এটা হয়েছে তোমার পক্ষ থেকে, বলে দাও, এসবই আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে। পক্ষান্তরে তাদের পরিণতি কি হবে, যারা কখনও কোন কথা বুঝতে চেষ্টা করে না।
"Wherever ye are, death will find you out, even if ye are in towers built up strong and high!" If some good befalls them, they say, "This is from Allah"; but if evil, they say, "This is from thee" (O Prophet). Say: "All things are from Allah." But what hath come to these people, that they fail to understand a single fact? |

আয়াতঃ ৭৮) |

আর তোমাদেরকে যদি কেউ দোয়া করে, তাহলে তোমরাও তার জন্য দোয়া কর; তারচেয়ে উত্তম দোয়া অথবা তারই মত ফিরিয়ে বল। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ সর্ব বিষয়ে হিসাব-নিকাশ গ্রহণকারী।
When a (courteous) greeting is offered you, meet it with a greeting still more courteous, or (at least) of equal courtesy. Allah takes careful account of all things. |

আয়াতঃ ৮৬) |

আল্লাহ ব্যতীত আর কোনোই উপাস্য নেই। অবশ্যই তিনি তোমাদেরকে সমবেত করবেন কেয়ামতের দিন, এতে বিন্দুমাত্র সন্দেহ নেই। তাছাড়া আল্লাহর চাইতে বেশী সত্য কথা আর কার হবে!
Allah! There is no god but He: of a surety He will gather you together against the Day of Judgment, about which there is no doubt. And whose word can be truer than Allah's? |

আয়াতঃ ৮৭) |

এখন তুমি আরও এক সম্প্রদায়কে পাবে। তারা তোমাদের কাছেও স্বজাতির কাছেও এবং নির্বিঘ্ন হয়ে থাকতে চায়। যখন তাদেরকে ফ্যাসাদের প্রতি মনোনিবেশ করানো হয়, তখন তারা তাতে নিপতিত হয়, অতএব তারা যদি তোমাদের থেকে নিবৃত্ত না হয়, তোমাদের সাথে সন্ধি না রাখে এবং স্বীয় হস্তসমূহকে বিরত না রাখে, তবে তোমরা তাদেরকে পাকড়াও কর এবং যেখানে পাও হত্যা কর। আমি তাদের বিরুদ্ধে তোমাদেরকে প্রকাশ্য যুক্তি-প্রমাণ দান করেছি।
Others you will find that wish to gain your confidence as well as that of their people: Every time they are sent back to temptation, they succumb thereto: if they withdraw not from you nor give you (guarantees) of peace besides restraining their hands, seize them and slay them wherever ye get them: In their case We have provided you with a clear argument against them. |

আয়াতঃ ৯১) |
| 40 |
হে ঈমানদারগণ! তোমরা যখন আল্লাহর পথে সফর কর, তখন যাচাই করে নিও এবং যে, তোমাদেরকে সালাম করে তাকে বলো না যে, তুমি মুসলমান নও। তোমরা পার্থিব জীবনের সম্পদ অন্বেষণ কর, বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহর কাছে অনেক সম্পদ রয়েছে। তোমরা ও তো এমনি ছিলে ইতিপূর্বে; অতঃপর আল্লাহ তোমাদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করেছেন। অতএব, এখন অনুসন্ধান করে নিও। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তোমাদের কাজ কর্মের খবর রাখেন।
O ye who believe! When ye go abroad in the cause of Allah, investigate carefully, and say not to any one who offers you a salutation: "Thou art none of a believer!" Coveting the perishable goods of this life: with Allah are profits and spoils abundant. Even thus were ye yourselves before, till Allah conferred on you His favours: Therefore carefully investigate. For Allah is well aware of all that ye do. |

আয়াতঃ ৯৪) |
| 41 |
যখন তোমরা কোন দেশ সফর কর, তখন নামাযে কিছুটা হ্রাস করলে তোমাদের কোন গোনাহ নেই, যদি তোমরা আশঙ্কা কর যে, কাফেররা তোমাদেরকে উত্ত্যক্ত করবে। নিশ্চয় কাফেররা তোমাদের প্রকাশ্য শত্রু।
When ye travel through the earth, there is no blame on you if ye shorten your prayers, for fear the Unbelievers May attack you: For the Unbelievers are unto you open enemies. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১০১) |
| 42 |
যখন আপনি তাদের মধ্যে থাকেন, অতঃপর নামাযে দাঁড়ান, তখন যেন একদল দাঁড়ায় আপনার সাথে এবং তারা যেন স্বীয় অস্ত্র সাথে নেয়। অতঃপর যখন তারা সেজদা সম্পন্ন করে, তখন আপনার কাছ থেকে যেন সরে যায় এবং অন্য দল যেন আসে, যারা নামায পড়েনি। অতঃপর তারা যেন আপনার সাথে নামায পড়ে এবং আত্মরক্ষার হাতিয়ার সাথে নেয়। কাফেররা চায় যে, তোমরা কোন রূপে অসতর্ক থাক, যাতে তারা একযোগে তোমাদেরকে আক্রমণ করে বসে। যদি বৃষ্টির কারণে তোমাদের কষ্ট হয় অথবা তোমরা অসুস্থ হও তবে স্বীয় অস্ত্র পরিত্যাগ করায় তোমাদের কোন গোনাহ নেই এবং সাথে নিয়ে নাও তোমাদের আত্নরক্ষার অস্ত্র। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ কাফেরদের জন্যে অপমানকর শাস্তি প্রস্তুত করে রেখেছেন।
When thou (O Messenger) art with them, and standest to lead them in prayer, Let one party of them stand up (in prayer) with thee, Taking their arms with them: When they finish their prostrations, let them Take their position in the rear. And let the other party come up which hath not yet prayed - and let them pray with thee, Taking all precaution, and bearing arms: the Unbelievers wish, if ye were negligent of your arms and your baggage, to assault you in a single rush. But there is no blame on you if ye put away your arms because of the inconvenience of rain or because ye are ill; but take (every) precaution for yourselves. For the Unbelievers Allah hath prepared a humiliating punishment. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১০২) |
| 43 |
তারা আপনার কাছে নারীদের বিবাহের অনুমতি চায়। বলে দিনঃ আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে তাদের সম্পর্কে অনুমতি দেন এবং কোরআনে তোমাদেরকে যা যা পাট করে শুনানো হয়, তা ঐ সব পিতৃহীনা-নারীদের বিধান, যাদের কে তোমরা নির্ধারিত অধিকার প্রদান কর না অথচ বিবাহ বন্ধনে আবদ্ধ করার বাসনা রাখ। আর অক্ষম শিশুদের বিধান এই যে, এতীমদের জন্যে ইনসাফের উপর কায়েম থাক। তোমরা যা ভাল কাজ করবে, তা আল্লাহ জানেন।
They ask thy instruction concerning the women say: Allah doth instruct you about them: And (remember) what hath been rehearsed unto you in the Book, concerning the orphans of women to whom ye give not the portions prescribed, and yet whom ye desire to marry, as also concerning the children who are weak and oppressed: that ye stand firm for justice to orphans. There is not a good deed which ye do, but Allah is well-acquainted therewith. |

আর যা কিছু রয়েছে আসমান সমূহে ও যমীনে সবই আল্লাহর। বস্তুতঃ আমি নির্দেশ দিয়েছি তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তী গ্রন্থের অধিকারীদেরকে এবং তোমাদেরকে যে, তোমরা সবাই ভয় করতে থাক আল্লাহকে। যদি তোমরা তা না মান, তবে জেনো, সে সব কিছুই আল্লাহ তা’আলার যা কিছু রয়েছে আসমান সমূহে ও যমীনে। আর আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন অভাবহীন, প্রসংশিত।
To Allah belong all things in the heavens and on earth. Verily we have directed the People of the Book before you, and you (o Muslims) to fear Allah. But if ye deny Him, lo! unto Allah belong all things in the heavens and on earth, and Allah is free of all wants, worthy of all praise. |

আয়াতঃ ১৩১) |

হে মানবকূল, যদি আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে সরিয়ে তোমাদের জায়গায় অন্য কাউকে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করেন? বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহর সে ক্ষমতা রয়েছে।
If it were His will, He could destroy you, o mankind, and create another race; for He hath power this to do. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৩) |
| 46 |
এরা এমনি মুনাফেক যারা তোমাদের কল্যাণ-অকল্যাণের প্রতীক্ষায় ওঁৎপেতে থাকে। অতঃপর আল্লাহর ইচ্ছায় তোমাদের যদি কোন বিজয় অর্জিত হয়, তবে তারা বলে, আমরাও কি তোমাদের সাথে ছিলাম না? পক্ষান্তরে কাফেরদের যদি আংশিক বিজয় হয়, তবে বলে, আমরা কি তোমাদেরকে ঘিরে রাখিনি এবং মুসলমানদের কবল থেকে রক্ষা করিনি? সুতরাং আল্লাহ তোমাদের মধ্যে কেয়ামতের দিন মীমাংসা করবেন এবং কিছুতেই আল্লাহ কাফেরদেরকে মুসলমানদের উপর বিজয় দান করবেন না।
(These are) the ones who wait and watch about you: if ye do gain a victory from Allah, they say: "Were we not with you?"- but if the unbelievers gain a success, they say (to them): "Did we not gain an advantage over you, and did we not guard you from the believers?" but Allah will judge betwixt you on the Day of Judgment. And never will Allah grant to the unbelievers a way (to triumphs) over the believers. |

হে মুমিনগণ! হালাল মনে করো না আল্লাহর নিদর্শনসমূহ এবং সম্মানিত মাসসমূহকে এবং হরমে কুরবানীর জন্যে নির্দিষ্ট জন্তুকে এবং ঐসব জন্তুকে, যাদের গলায় কন্ঠাভরণ রয়েছে এবং ঐসব লোককে যারা সম্মানিত গৃহ অভিমুখে যাচ্ছে, যারা স্বীয় পালনকর্তার অনুগ্রহ ও সন্তুষ্টি কামনা করে। যখন তোমরা এহরাম থেকে বের হয়ে আস, তখন শিকার কর। যারা পবিত্র মসজিদ থেকে তোমাদেরকে বাধা প্রদান করেছিল, সেই সম্প্রদায়ের শুত্রুতা যেন তোমাদেরকে সীমালঙ্ঘনে প্ররোচিত না করে। সৎকর্ম ও খোদাভীতিতে একে অন্যের সাহায্য কর। পাপ ও সীমালঙ্ঘনের ব্যাপারে একে অন্যের সহায়তা করো না। আল্লাহকে ভয় কর। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তা’আলা কঠোর শাস্তিদাতা।
O ye who believe! Violate not the sanctity of the symbols of Allah, nor of the sacred month, nor of the animals brought for sacrifice, nor the garlands that mark out such animals, nor the people resorting to the sacred house, seeking of the bounty and good pleasure of their Lord. But when ye are clear of the sacred precincts and of pilgrim garb, ye may hunt and let not the hatred of some people in (once) shutting you out of the Sacred Mosque lead you to transgression (and hostility on your part). Help ye one another in righteousness and piety, but help ye not one another in sin and rancour: fear Allah: for Allah is strict in punishment. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২) |
| 48 |
তারা আপনাকে জিজ্ঞেস করে যে, কি বস্তু তাদের জন্যে হালাল? বলে দিন, তোমাদের জন্যে পবিত্র বস্তুসমূহ হালাল করা হয়েছে। যেসব শিকারী জন্তুকে তোমরা প্রশিক্ষণ দান কর শিকারের প্রতি প্রেরণের জন্যে এবং ওদেরকে ঐ পদ্ধতিতে প্রশিক্ষণ দাও, যা আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে শিক্ষা দিয়েছেন। এমন শিকারী জন্তু যে শিকারকে তোমাদের জন্যে ধরে রাখে, তা খাও এবং তার উপর আল্লাহর নাম উচ্চারণ কর। আল্লাহকে ভয় করতে থাক। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সত্ত্বর হিসাব গ্রহণকারী।
They ask thee what is lawful to them (as food). Say: lawful unto you are (all) things good and pure: and what ye have taught your trained hunting animals (to catch) in the manner directed to you by Allah: eat what they catch for you, but pronounce the name of Allah over it: and fear Allah; for Allah is swift in taking account. |

আল্লাহ বনী-ইসরাঈলের কাছ থেকে অঙ্গীকার নিয়েছিলেন এবং আমি তাদের মধ্য থেকে বার জন সর্দার নিযুক্ত করেছিলাম। আল্লাহ বলে দিলেনঃ আমি তোমাদের সঙ্গে আছি। যদি তোমরা নামায প্রতিষ্ঠিত কর, যাকাত দিতে থাক, আমার পয়গম্বরদের প্রতি বিশ্বাস রাখ, তাঁদের সাহায্য কর এবং আল্লাহকে উত্তম পন্থায় ঋন দিতে থাক, তবে আমি অবশ্যই তোমাদের গোনাহ দুর করে দিব এবং অবশ্যই তোমাদেরকে উদ্যান সমূহে প্রবিষ্ট করব, যেগুলোর তলদেশ দিয়ে নিঝরিনীসমূহ প্রবাহিত হয়। অতঃপর তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে যে ব্যক্তি এরপরও কাফের হয়, সে নিশ্চিতই সরল পথ থেকে বিচ্যুত হয়ে পড়ে।
Allah did aforetime take a covenant from the Children of Israel, and we appointed twelve captains among them. And Allah said: "I am with you: if ye (but) establish regular prayers, practise regular charity, believe in my messengers, honour and assist them, and loan to Allah a beautiful loan, verily I will wipe out from you your evils, and admit you to gardens with rivers flowing beneath; but if any of you, after this, resisteth faith, he hath truly wandered from the path or rectitude." |

ইহুদী ও খ্রীষ্টানরা বলে, আমরা আল্লাহর সন্তান ও তাঁর প্রিয়জন। আপনি বলুন, তবে তিনি তোমাদেরকে পাপের বিনিময়ে কেন শাস্তি দান করবেন? বরং তোমারও অন্যান্য সৃষ্ট মানবের অন্তর্ভুক্ত সাধারণ মানুষ। তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা ক্ষমা করেন এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা শাস্তি প্রদান করেন। নভোমন্ডল, ভুমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যে যা কিছু আছে, তাতে আল্লাহরই আধিপত্য রয়েছে এবং তাঁর দিকেই প্রত্যাবর্তন করতে হবে।
(Both) the Jews and the Christians say: "We are sons of Allah, and his beloved." Say: "Why then doth He punish you for your sins? Nay, ye are but men,- of the men he hath created: He forgiveth whom He pleaseth, and He punisheth whom He pleaseth: and to Allah belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between: and unto Him is the final goal (of all)" |

যখন মূসা স্বীয় সম্প্রদায়কে বললেনঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, তোমাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর নেয়ামত স্মরণ কর, যখন তিনি তোমাদের মধ্যে পয়গম্বর সৃষ্টি করেছেন, তোমাদেরকে রাজ্যাধিপতি করেছেন এবং তোমাদেরকে এমন জিনিস দিয়েছেন, যা বিশ্বজগতের কাউকে দেননি।
Remember Moses said to his people: "O my people! Call in remembrance the favour of Allah unto you, when He produced prophets among you, made you kings, and gave you what He had not given to any other among the peoples. |

আমি আপনার প্রতি অবতীর্ণ করেছি সত্যগ্রন্থ, যা পূর্ববতী গ্রন্থ সমূহের সত্যায়নকারী এবং সেগুলোর বিষয়বস্তুর রক্ষণাবেক্ষণকারী। অতএব, আপনি তাদের পারস্পারিক ব্যাপারাদিতে আল্লাহ যা অবতীর্ণ করেছেন, তদনুযায়ী ফয়সালা করুন এবং আপনার কাছে যে সৎপথ এসেছে, তা ছেড়ে তাদের প্রবৃত্তির অনুসরণ করবেন না। আমি তোমাদের প্রত্যেককে একটি আইন ও পথ দিয়েছি। যদি আল্লাহ চাইতেন, তবে তোমাদের সবাইকে এক উম্মত করে দিতেন, কিন্তু এরূপ করেননি-যাতে তোমাদেরকে যে ধর্ম দিয়েছেন, তাতে তোমাদের পরীক্ষা নেন। অতএব, দৌড়ে কল্যাণকর বিষয়াদি অর্জন কর। তোমাদের সবাইকে আল্লাহর কাছে প্রত্যাবর্তন করতে হবে। অতঃপর তিনি অবহিত করবেন সে বিষয়, যাতে তোমরা মতবিরোধ করতে।
To thee We sent the Scripture in truth, confirming the scripture that came before it, and guarding it in safety: so judge between them by what Allah hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, diverging from the Truth that hath come to thee. To each among you have we prescribed a law and an open way. If Allah had so willed, He would have made you a single people, but (His plan is) to test you in what He hath given you: so strive as in a race in all virtues. The goal of you all is to Allah; it is He that will show you the truth of the matters in which ye dispute; |

বলুনঃ আমি তোমাদেরকে বলি, তাদের মধ্যে কার মন্দ প্রতিফল রয়েছে আল্লাহর কাছে? যাদের প্রতি আল্লাহ অভিসম্পাত করেছেন, যাদের প্রতি তিনি ক্রোধাম্বিত হয়েছেন, যাদের কতককে বানর ও শুকরে রূপান্তরিত করে দিয়েছেন এবং যারা শয়তানের আরাধনা করেছে, তারাই মর্যাদার দিক দিয়ে নিকৃষ্টতর এবং সত্যপথ থেকেও অনেক দূরে।
Say: "Shall I point out to you something much worse than this, (as judged) by the treatment it received from Allah? those who incurred the curse of Allah and His wrath, those of whom some He transformed into apes and swine, those who worshipped evil;- these are (many times) worse in rank, and far more astray from the even path!" |

আল্লাহ তা’য়ালা যেসব বস্তু তোমাদেরকে দিয়েছেন, তন্মধ্য থেকে হালাল ও পবিত্র বস্তু খাও এবং আল্লাহকে ভয় কর, যার প্রতি তোমরা বিশ্বাসী।
Eat of the things which Allah hath provided for you, lawful and good; but fear Allah, in Whom ye believe. |

আয়াতঃ ৮৮) |
| 55 |
আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে পাকড়াও করেন না তোমাদের অনর্থক শপথের জন্যে; কিন্তু পাকড়াও করেন ঐ শপথের জন্যে যা তোমরা মজবুত করে বাধ। অতএব, এর কাফফরা এই যে, দশজন দরিদ্রকে খাদ্য প্রদান করবে; মধ্যম শ্রেনীর খাদ্য যা তোমরা স্বীয় পরিবারকে দিয়ে থাক। অথবা, তাদেরকে বস্তু প্রদান করবে অথবা, একজন ক্রীতদাস কিংবা দাসী মুক্ত করে দিবে। যে ব্যক্তি সামর্থ্য রাখে না, সে তিন দিন রোযা রাখবে। এটা কাফফরা তোমাদের শপথের, যখন শপথ করবে। তোমরা স্বীয় শপথসমূহ রক্ষা কর এমনিভাবে আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্য স্বীয় নির্দেশ বর্ণনা করেন, যাতে তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞতা স্বীকার কর।
Allah will not call you to account for what is futile in your oaths, but He will call you to account for your deliberate oaths: for expiation, feed ten indigent persons, on a scale of the average for the food of your families; or clothe them; or give a slave his freedom. If that is beyond your means, fast for three days. That is the expiation for the oaths ye have sworn. But keep to your oaths. Thus doth Allah make clear to you His signs, that ye may be grateful. |

শয়তান তো চায়, মদ ও জুয়ার মাধ্যমে তোমাদের পরস্পরের মাঝে শুত্রুতা ও বিদ্বেষ সঞ্চারিত করে দিতে এবং আল্লাহর স্মরণ ও নামায থেকে তোমাদেরকে বিরত রাখতে। অতএব, তোমরা এখন ও কি নিবৃত্ত হবে?
Satan's plan is (but) to excite enmity and hatred between you, with intoxicants and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah, and from prayer: will ye not then abstain? |

হে মুমিনগণ, আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে এমন কিছু শিকারের মাধ্যমে পরীক্ষা করবেন, যে শিকার পর্যন্ত তোমাদের হাত ও বর্শা সহজেই পৌছতে পারবে-যাতে আল্লাহ বুঝতে পারেন যে, কে তাকে অদৃশ্যভাবে ভয়করে। অতএব, যে ব্যক্তি এরপর সীমা অতিক্রম করবে, তার জন্য যন্ত্রনাদায়ক শাস্তি রয়েছে।
O ye who believe! Allah doth but make a trial of you in a little matter of game well within reach of game well within reach of your hands and your lances, that He may test who feareth him unseen: any who transgress thereafter, will have a grievous penalty. |

আয়াতঃ ৯৪) |

হে মুমিনগণ, তোমরা নিজেদের চিন্তা কর। তোমরা যখন সৎপথে রয়েছ, তখন কেউ পথভ্রান্ত হলে তাতে তোমাদের কোন ক্ষতি নাই। তোমাদের সবাইকে আল্লাহর কাছে ফিরে যেতে হবে। তখন তিনি তোমাদেরকে বলে দেবেন, যা কিছু তোমরা করতে।
O ye who believe! Guard your own souls: If ye follow (right) guidance, no hurt can come to you from those who stray. the goal of you all is to Allah: it is He that will show you the truth of all that ye do. |

আয়াতঃ ১০৫) |

তিনিই তোমাদেরকে মাটির দ্বারা সৃষ্টি করেছেন, অতঃপর নির্দিষ্টকাল নির্ধারণ করেছেন। আর অপর নির্দিষ্টকাল আল্লাহর কাছে আছে। তথাপি তোমরা সন্দেহ কর।
He it is created you from clay, and then decreed a stated term (for you). And there is in His presence another determined term; yet ye doubt within yourselves! |

| 60 |
তারা কি দেখেনি যে, আমি তাদের পুর্বে কত সম্প্রদায়কে ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছি, যাদেরকে আমি পৃথিবীতে এমন প্রতিষ্ঠা দিয়েছিলাম, যা তোমাদেরকে দেইনি। আমি আকাশকে তাদের উপর অনবরত বৃষ্টি বর্ষণ করতে দিয়েছি এবং তাদের তলদেশে নদী সৃষ্টি করে দিয়েছি, অতঃপর আমি তাদেরকে তাদের পাপের কারণে ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছি এবং তাদের পরে অন্য সম্প্রদায় সৃষ্টি করেছি।
See they not how many of those before them We did destroy?- generations We had established on the earth, in strength such as We have not given to you - for whom We poured out rain from the skies in abundance, and gave (fertile) streams flowing beneath their (feet): yet for their sins We destroyed them, and raised in their wake fresh generations (to succeed them). |

| 61 |
জিজ্ঞেস করুন, নভোমন্ডল ও ভুমন্ডলে যা আছে, তার মালিক কে? বলে দিনঃআল্লাহ। তিনি অনুকম্পা প্রদর্শনকে নিজ দায়িত্বে লিপিবদ্ধ করে নিয়েছেন। তিনি অবশ্যই তোমাদেরকে কেয়ামতের দিন একত্রিত করবেন। এর আগমনে কোন সন্দেহ নেই। যারা নিজেদের কে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত করেছে, তারাই বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে না।
Say: "To whom belongeth all that is in the heavens and on earth?" Say: "To Allah. He hath inscribed for Himself (the rule of) Mercy. That He will gather you together for the Day of Judgment, there is no doubt whatever. It is they who have lost their own souls, that will not believe. |

আপনি জিজ্ঞেস করুনঃ সর্ববৃহৎ সাক্ষ্যদাতা কে ? বলে দিনঃ আল্লাহ আমার ও তোমাদের মধ্যে সাক্ষী। আমার প্রতি এ কোরআন অবর্তীর্ণ হয়েছে-যাতে আমি তোমাদেরকে এবং যাদের কাছে এ কোরআন পৌঁছে সবাইকে ভীতি প্রদর্শন করি। তোমরা কি সাক্ষ্য দাও যে, আল্লাহর সাথে অন্যান্য উপাস্যও রয়েছে ? আপনি বলে দিনঃ আমি এরূপ সাক্ষ্য দেব না। বলে দিনঃ তিনিই একমাত্র উপাস্য; আমি অবশ্যই তোমাদের শিরক থেকে মুক্ত।
Say: "What thing is most weighty in evidence?" Say: "Allah is witness between me and you; This Qur'an hath been revealed to me by inspiration, that I may warn you and all whom it reaches. Can ye possibly bear witness that besides Allah there is another Allah?" Say: "Nay! I cannot bear witness!" Say: "But in truth He is the one Allah, and I truly am innocent of (your blasphemy of) joining others with Him." |

আয়াতঃ ১৯) |
| 63 |
আপনি বলুনঃ বল তো দেখি, যদি আল্লাহ তোমাদের কান ও চোখ নিয়ে যান এবং তোমাদের অন্তরে মোহর এঁটে দেন, তবে এবং তোমাদের আল্লাহ ব্যতীত এমন উপাস্য কে আছে, যে তোমাদেরকে এগুলো এনে দেবে? দেখ, আমি কিভাবে ঘুরিয়ে-ফিরিয়ে নিদর্শনাবলী বর্ণনা করি। তথাপি তারা বিমুখ হচ্ছে।
Say: "Think ye, if Allah took away your hearing and your sight, and sealed up your hearts, who - a god other than Allah - could restore them to you?" See how We explain the signs by various (symbols); yet they turn aside. |

আয়াতঃ ৪৬) |
| 64 |
আপনি বলুনঃ আমি তোমাদেরকে বলি না যে, আমার কাছে আল্লাহর ভান্ডার রয়েছে। তাছাড়া আমি অদৃশ্য বিষয় অবগতও নই। আমি এমন বলি না যে, আমি ফেরেশতা। আমি তো শুধু ঐ ওহীর অনুসরণ করি, যা আমার কাছে আসে। আপনি বলে দিনঃ অন্ধ ও চক্ষুমান কি সমান হতে পারে? তোমরা কি চিন্তা কর না ?
Say: "I tell you not that with me are the treasures of Allah, nor do I know what is hidden, nor do I tell you I am an angel. I but follow what is revealed to me." Say: "can the blind be held equal to the seeing?" Will ye then consider not? |

আয়াতঃ ৫০) |
| 65 |
তিনিই রাত্রি বেলায় তোমাদেরকে করায়ত্ত করে নেন এবং যা কিছু তোমরা দিনের বেলায় কর, তা জানেন। অতঃপর তোমাদেরকে দিবসে সম্মুখিত করেন-যাতে নির্দিষ্ট ওয়াদা পূর্ণ হয়।
It is He who doth take your souls by night, and hath knowledge of all that ye have done by day: by day doth He raise you up again; that a term appointed be fulfilled; In the end unto Him will be your return; then will He show you the truth of all that ye did. |

আয়াতঃ ৬০) |
| 66 |
অনন্তর তাঁরই দিকে তোমাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন। অতঃপর তোমাদেরকে বলে দিবেন, যা কিছু তোমরা করছিলে। তিনিই স্বীয় বান্দাদের উপর প্রবল। তিনি প্রেরণ করেন তোমাদের কাছে রক্ষণাবেক্ষণকারী। এমন কি, যখন তোমাদের কারও মৃত্যু আসে তখন আমার প্রেরিত ফেরেশতারা তার আত্মা হস্তগত করে নেয়।
He is the irresistible, (watching) from above over His worshippers, and He sets guardians over you. At length, when death approaches one of you, Our angels take his soul, and they never fail in their duty. |

আয়াতঃ ৬১) |
| 67 |
আপনি বলুনঃ কে তোমাদেরকে স্থল ও জলের অন্ধকার থেকে উদ্ধার করেন, যখন তোমরা তাঁকে বিনীতভাবে ও গোপনে আহবান কর যে, যদি আপনি আমাদের কে এ থেকে উদ্ধার করে নেন, তবে আমরা অবশ্যই কৃতজ্ঞদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে যাব।
Say: "Who is it that delivereth you from the dark recesses of land and sea, when ye call upon Him in humility and silent terror: 'If He only delivers us from these (dangers), (we vow) we shall truly show our gratitude'?" |

আয়াতঃ ৬৩) |
| 68 |
আপনি বলে দিনঃ আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে তা থেকে মুক্তি দেন এব সব দুঃখ-বিপদ থেকে। তথাপি তোমরা শেরক কর।
Say "It is Allah that delivereth you from these and all (other) distresses: and yet ye worship false gods!" |
(আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৬৪) |

আপনি বলুনঃ তিনিই শক্তিমান যে, তোমাদের উপর কোন শাস্তি উপর দিক থেকে অথবা তোমাদের পদতল থেকে প্রেরণ করবেন অথবা তোমাদেরকে দলে-উপদলে বিভক্ত করে সবাইকে মুখোমুখী করে দিবেন এবং এককে অন্যের উপর আক্রমণের স্বাদ আস্বাদন করাবেন। দেখ, আমি কেমন ঘুরিয়ে-ফিরিয়ে নিদর্শনাবলী বর্ণনা করি যাতে তারা বুঝে নেয়।
Say: "He hath power to send calamities on you, from above and below, or to cover you with confusion in party strife, giving you a taste of mutual vengeance - each from the other." See how We explain the signs by various (symbols); that they may understand. |

আয়াতঃ ৬৫) |
| 70 |
তারা আল্লাহকে যথার্থ মূল্যায়ন করতে পারেনি, যখন তারা বললঃ আল্লাহ কোন মানুষের প্রতি কোন কিছু অবতীর্ণ করেননি। আপনি জিজ্ঞেস করুনঃ ঐ গ্রন্থ কে নাযিল করেছে, যা মূসা নিয়ে এসেছিল ? যা জ্যোতিবিশেষ এবং মানব মন্ডলীর জন্যে হোদায়েতস্বরূপ, যা তোমরা বিক্ষিপ্তপত্রে রেখে লোকদের জন্যে প্রকাশ করছ এবং বহুলাংশকে গোপন করছ। তোমাদেরকে এমন অনেক বিষয় শিক্ষা দেয়া হয়েছে, যা তোমরা এবং তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষরা জানতো না। আপনি বলে দিনঃ আল্লাহ নাযিল করেছেন। অতঃপর তাদেরকে তাদের ক্রীড়ামূলক বৃত্তিতে ব্যাপৃত থাকতে দিন।
No just estimate of Allah do they make when they say: "Nothing doth Allah send down to man (by way of revelation)" Say: "Who then sent down the Book which Moses brought?- a light and guidance to man: But ye make it into (separate) sheets for show, while ye conceal much (of its contents): therein were ye taught that which ye knew not- neither ye nor your fathers." Say: "Allah (sent it down)": Then leave them to plunge in vain discourse and trifling. |

আয়াতঃ ৯১) |
| 71 |
ঐ ব্যক্তির চাইতে বড় জালেম কে হবে, যে আল্লাহর প্রতি মিথ্যা আরোপ করে অথবা বলেঃ আমার প্রতি ওহী অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে। অথচ তার প্রতি কোন ওহী আসেনি এবং যে দাবী করে যে, আমিও নাযিল করে দেখাচ্ছি যেমন আল্লাহ নাযিল করেছেন। যদি আপনি দেখেন যখন জালেমরা মৃত্যু যন্ত্রণায় থাকে এবং ফেরেশতারা স্বীয় হস্ত প্রসারিত করে বলে, বের কর স্বীয় আত্মা! অদ্য তোমাদেরকে অবমাননাকর শাস্তি প্রদান করা হবে। কারণ, তোমরা আল্লাহর উপর অসত্য বলতে এবং তাঁর আয়াত সমূহ থেকে অহংকার করতে।
Who can be more wicked than one who inventeth a lie against Allah, or saith, "I have received inspiration," when he hath received none, or (again) who saith, "I can reveal the like of what Allah hath revealed"? If thou couldst but see how the wicked (do fare) in the flood of confusion at death! - the angels stretch forth their hands, (saying),"Yield up your souls: this day shall ye receive your reward,- a penalty of shame, for that ye used to tell lies against Allah, and scornfully to reject of His signs!" |

আয়াতঃ ৯৩) |

তোমরা আমার কাছে নিঃসঙ্গ হয়ে এসেছ, আমি প্রথমবার তোমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছিলাম। আমি তোদেরকে যা দিয়েছিলাম, তা পশ্চাতেই রেখে এসেছ। আমি তো তোমাদের সাথে তোমাদের সুপারিশকারীদের কে দেখছি না। যাদের সম্পর্কে তোমাদের দাবী ছিল যে, তারা তোমাদের ব্যাপারে অংশীদার। বাস্তুবিকই তোমাদের পরস্পরের সম্পর্ক ছিন্ন হয়ে গেছে এবং তোমাদের দাবী উধাও হয়ে গেছে।
"And behold! ye come to us bare and alone as We created you for the first time: ye have left behind you all (the favours) which We bestowed on you: We see not with you your intercessors whom ye thought to be partners in your affairs: so now all relations between you have been cut off, and your (pet) fancies have left you in the lurch!" |

আয়াতঃ ৯৪) |

তারা জোর দিয়ে আল্লাহর কসম খায় যে, যদি তাদের কাছে কোন নিদর্শন আসে, তবে অবশ্যই তারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করবে। আপনি বলে দিনঃ নিদর্শনাবলী তো আল্লাহর কাছেই আছে। হে মুসলমানগণ, তোমাদেরকে কে বলল যে, যখন তাদের কাছে নিদর্শনাবলী আসবে, তখন তারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করবেই ?
They swear their strongest oaths by Allah, that if a (special) sign came to them, by it they would believe. Say: "Certainly (all) signs are in the power of Allah: but what will make you (Muslims) realise that (even) if (special) signs came, they will not believe."? |

আয়াতঃ ১০৯) |

হে জ্বিন ও মানব সম্প্রদায়, তোমাদের কাছে কি তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে পয়গম্বরগণ আগমন করেনি? যাঁরা তোমাদেরকে আমার বিধানাবলী বর্ণনা করতেন এবং তোমাদেরকে আজকের এ দিনের সাক্ষাতের ভীতি প্রদর্শন করতেন? তারা বলবেঃ আমরা স্বীয় গোনাহ স্বীকার করে নিলাম। পার্থিব জীবন তাদেরকে প্রতারিত করেছে। তারা নিজেদের বিরুদ্ধে স্বীকার করে নিয়েছে যে, তারা কাফের ছিল।
"O ye assembly of Jinns and men! came there not unto you messengers from amongst you, setting forth unto you My signs, and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say: "We bear witness against ourselves." It was the life of this world that deceived them. So against themselves will they bear witness that they rejected Faith. |

আপনার প্রতিপালক অমুখাপেক্ষী, করুণাময়। তিনি ইচ্ছা করলে তোমাদের সবাইকে উচ্ছেদ করে দিবেন এবং তোমাদের পর যাকে ইচ্ছা তোমাদের স্থলে অভিষিক্ত করবেন; যেমন তোমাদেরকে অন্য এক সম্প্রদায়ের বংশধর থেকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন।
Thy Lord is self-sufficient, full of Mercy: if it were His will, He could destroy you, and in your place appoint whom He will as your successors, even as He raised you up from the posterity of other people. |

আয়াতঃ ১৩৩) |

তিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন চতুষ্পদ জন্তুর মধ্যে বোঝা বহনকারীকে এবং খর্বাকৃতিকে। আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে যা কিছু দিয়েছেন, তা থেকে খাও এবং শয়তানের পদাঙ্ক অনুসরণ করো না। সে তোমাদের প্রকাশ্য শত্রু।
Of the cattle are some for burden and some for meat: eat what Allah hath provided for you, and follow not the footsteps of Satan: for he is to you and avowed enemy. |

আপনি বলুনঃ এস, আমি তোমাদেরকে ঐসব বিষয় পাঠ করে শুনাই, যেগুলো তোমাদের প্রতিপালক তোমাদের জন্যে হারাম করেছেন। তাএই যে, আল্লাহর সাথে কোন কিছুকে অংশীদার করো না, পিতা-মাতার সাথে সদয় ব্যবহার করো স্বীয় সন্তানদেরকে দারিদ্রে?480; কারণে হত্যা করো না, আমি তোমাদেরকে ও তাদেরকে আহার দেই, নির্লজ্জতার কাছেও যেয়ো না, প্রকাশ্য হোক কিংবা অপ্রকাশ্য, যাকে হত্যা করা আল্লাহ হারাম করেছেন, তাকে হত্যা করো না; কিন্তু ন্যায়ভাবে। তোমাদেরকে এ নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন, যেন তোমরা বুঝ।
Say: "Come, I will rehearse what Allah hath (really) prohibited you from": Join not anything as equal with Him; be good to your parents; kill not your children on a plea of want;- We provide sustenance for you and for them;- come not nigh to shameful deeds. Whether open or secret; take not life, which Allah hath made sacred, except by way of justice and law: thus doth He command you, that ye may learn wisdom. |

তোমাদেরকে এ নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন, যেন তোমরা উপদেশ গ্রহণ কর। নিশ্চিত এটি আমার সরল পথ। অতএব, এ পথে চল এবং অন্যান্য পথে চলো না। তা হলে সেসব পথ তোমাদেরকে তাঁর পথ থেকে বিচ্ছিন্ন করে দিবে। তোমাদেরকে এ নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন, যাতে তোমরা সংযত হও।
Verily, this is My way, leading straight: follow it: follow not (other) paths: they will scatter you about from His (great) path: thus doth He command you. that ye may be righteous. |

আপনি বলুনঃ আমি কি আল্লাহ ব্যতীত অন্য প্রতিপালক খোঁজব, অথচ তিনিই সবকিছুর প্রতিপালক? যে ব্যক্তি কোন গোনাহ করে, তা তারই দায়িত্বে থাকে। কেউ অপরের বোঝা বহন করবে না। অতঃপর তোমাদেরকে সবাইকে প্রতিপালকের কাছে প্রত্যাবর্তন করতে হবে। অনন্তর তিনি তোমাদেরকে বলে দিবেন, যেসব বিষয়ে তোমরা বিরোধ করতে।
Say: "Shall I seek for (my) Cherisher other than Allah, when He is the Cherisher of all things (that exist)? Every soul draws the meed of its acts on none but itself: no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another. Your goal in the end is towards Allah: He will tell you the truth of the things wherein ye disputed." |

তিনিই তোমাদেরকে পৃথিবীতে প্রতিনিধি করেছেন এবং একে অন্যের উপর মর্যাদা সমুন্নত করেছেন, যাতে তোমাদের কে এ বিষয়ে পরীক্ষা করেন, যা তোমাদেরকে দিয়েছেন। আপনার প্রতিপালক দ্রুত শাস্তি দাতা এবং তিনি অত্যন্ত ক্ষমাশীল, দয়ালু।
It is He Who hath made you (His) agents, inheritors of the earth: He hath raised you in ranks, some above others: that He may try you in the gifts He hath given you: for thy Lord is quick in punishment: yet He is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. |

আমি তোমাদেরকে পৃথিবীতে ঠাই দিয়েছি এবং তোমাদের জীবিকা নির্দিষ্ট করে দিয়েছি। তোমরা অল্পই কৃতজ্ঞতা স্বীকার কর।
It is We Who have placed you with authority on earth, and provided you therein with means for the fulfilment of your life: small are the thanks that ye give! |

আর আমি তোমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছি, এরপর আকার-অবয়ব, তৈরী করেছি। অতঃপর আমি ফেরেশতাদেরকে বলছি-আদমকে সেজদা কর তখন সবাই সেজদা করেছে, কিন্তু ইবলীস সে সেজদাকারীদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত ছিল না।
It is We Who created you and gave you shape; then We bade the angels prostrate to Adam, and they prostrate; not so Iblis; He refused to be of those who prostrate. |

অতঃপর শয়তান উভয়কে প্ররোচিত করল, যাতে তাদের অঙ্গ, যা তাদের কাছে গোপন ছিল, তাদের সামনে প্রকাশ করে দেয়। সে বললঃ তোমাদের পালনকর্তা তোমাদেরকে এ বৃক্ষ থেকে নিষেধ করেননি; তবে তা এ কারণে যে, তোমরা না আবার ফেরেশতা হয়ে যাও-কিংবা হয়ে যাও চিরকাল বসবাসকারী।
Then began Satan to whisper suggestions to them, bringing openly before their minds all their shame that was hidden from them (before): he said: "Your Lord only forbade you this tree, lest ye should become angels or such beings as live for ever." |

আয়াতঃ ২০) |

অতঃপর প্রতারণাপূর্বক তাদেরকে সম্মত করে ফেলল। অনন্তর যখন তারা বৃক্ষ আস্বাদন করল, তখন তাদের লজ্জাস্থান তাদের সামনে খুলে গেল এবং তারা নিজের উপর বেহেশতের পাতা জড়াতে লাগল। তাদের প্রতিপালক তাদেরকে ডেকে বললেনঃ আমি কি তোমাদেরকে এ বৃক্ষ থেকে নিষেধ করিনি এবং বলিনি যে, শয়তান তোমাদের প্রকাশ্য শত্রু।
So by deceit he brought about their fall: when they tasted of the tree, their shame became manifest to them, and they began to sew together the leaves of the garden over their bodies. And their Lord called unto them: "Did I not forbid you that tree, and tell you that Satan was an avowed enemy unto you?" |

আয়াতঃ ২২) |

হে বনী-আদম শয়তান যেন তোমাদেরকে বিভ্রান্ত না করে; যেমন সে তোমাদের পিতামাতাকে জান্নাত থেকে বের করে দিয়েছে এমতাবস্থায় যে, তাদের পোশাক তাদের থেকে খুলিয়ে দিয়েছি-যাতে তাদেরকে লজ্জাস্থান দেখিয়ে দেয়। সে এবং তার দলবল তোমাদেরকে দেখে, যেখান থেকে তোমরা তাদেরকে দেখ না। আমি শয়তানদেরকে তাদের বন্ধু করে দিয়েছি, , যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে না।
O ye Children of Adam! Let not Satan seduce you, in the same manner as He got your parents out of the Garden, stripping them of their raiment, to expose their shame: for he and his tribe watch you from a position where ye cannot see them: We made the evil ones friends (only) to those without faith. |

| 86 |
আপনি বলে দিনঃ আমার প্রতিপালক সুবিচারের নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন এবং তোমরা প্রত্যেক সেজদার সময় স্বীয় মুখমন্ডল সোজা রাখ এবং তাঁকে খাঁটি আনুগত্যশীল হয়ে ডাক। তোমাদেরকে প্রথমে যেমন সৃষ্টি করেছেন, পুনর্বারও সৃজিত হবে।
Say: "My Lord hath commanded justice; and that ye set your whole selves (to Him) at every time and place of prayer, and call upon Him, making your devotion sincere as in His sight: such as He created you in the beginning, so shall ye return." |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ২৯) |

হে বনী-আদম, যদি তোমাদের কাছে তোমাদেরই মধ্য থেকে পয়গম্বর আগমন করে তোমাদেরকে আমার আয়াত সমূহ শুনায়, তবে যে ব্যক্তি সংযত হয় এবং সৎকাজ অবলম্বন করে, তাদের কোন আশঙ্কা নেই এবং তারা দুঃখিত হবে না।
O ye Children of Adam! whenever there come to you messengers from amongst you, rehearsing My signs unto you,- those who are righteous and mend (their lives),- on them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve. |

আয়াতঃ ৩৫) |
| 88 |
দোযখীরা জান্নাতীদেরকে ডেকে বলবেঃ আমাদের উপর সামান্য পানি নিক্ষেপ কর অথবা আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে যে রুযী দিয়েছেন, তা থেকেই কিছু দাও। তারা বলবেঃ আল্লাহ এই উভয় বস্তু কাফেরদের জন্যে নিষিদ্ধ করেছেন,
The Companions of the Fire will call to the Companions of the Garden: "Pour down to us water or anything that Allah doth provide for your sustenance." They will say: "Both these things hath Allah forbidden to those who rejected Him." |

তোমাদেরকে প্রতিপালকের পয়গাম পৌঁছাই এবং তোমাদেরকে সদুপদেশ দেই। আমি আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে এমনসব বিষয় জানি, যেগুলো তোমরা জান না।
"I but fulfil towards you the duties of my Lord's mission: Sincere is my advice to you, and I know from Allah something that ye know not. |

আয়াতঃ ৬২) |

তোমরা কি আশ্চর্যবোধ করছ যে, তোমাদের কাছে তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের মধ্য থেকেই একজনের বাচনিক উপদেশ এসেছে যাতে সে তোমাদেরকে ভীতি প্রদর্শন করে, যেন তোমরা সংযত হও এবং যেন তোমরা অনুগৃহীত হও।
"Do ye wonder that there hath come to you a message from your Lord, through a man of your own people, to warn you,- so that ye may fear Allah and haply receive His Mercy?" |

আয়াতঃ ৬৩) |

তোমরা কি আশ্চর্য্যবোধ করছ যে, তোমাদের কাছে তোমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের মধ্য থেকেই একজনের বাচনিক উপদেশ এসেছে যাতে সে তোমাদেরকে ভীতি প্রদর্শন করে। তোমরা স্মরণ কর, যখন আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে কওমে নূহের পর সর্দার করেছেন এবং তোমাদের দেহের বিস্তৃতি বেশী করেছেন। তোমরা আল্লাহর নেয়ামতসমূহ স্মরণ কর-যাতে তোমাদের মঙ্গল হয়।
"Do ye wonder that there hath come to you a message from your Lord through a man of your own people, to warn you? call in remembrance that He made you inheritors after the people of Noah, and gave you a stature tall among the nations. Call in remembrance the benefits (ye have received) from Allah: that so ye may prosper." |

আয়াতঃ ৬৯) |
| 92 |
সামুদ সম্প্রদায়ের কাছে প্রেরণ করেছি তাদের ভাই সালেহকে। সে বললঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, তোমরা আল্লাহর এবাদত কর। তিনি ব্যতিত তোমাদের কোন উপাস্য নেই। তোমাদের কাছে তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের পক্ষ থেকে একটি প্রমাণ এসে গেছে। এটি আল্লাহর উষ্টী তোমাদের জন্যে প্রমাণ। অতএব একে ছেড়ে দাও, আল্লাহর ভুমিতে চড়ে বেড়াবে। একে অসৎভাবে স্পর্শ করবে না। অন্যথায় তোমাদেরকে যন্ত্রনাদায়ক শাস্তি পাকড়াও করবে।
To the Thamud people (We sent) Salih, one of their own brethren: He said: "O my people! worship Allah: ye have no other god but Him. Now hath come unto you a clear (Sign) from your Lord! This she-camel of Allah is a Sign unto you: So leave her to graze in Allah's earth, and let her come to no harm, or ye shall be seized with a grievous punishment. |

আয়াতঃ ৭৩) |

তোমরা স্মরণ কর, যখন তোমাদেরকে আদ জাতির পরে সর্দার করেছেন; তোমাদেরকে পৃথিবীতে ঠিকানা দিয়েছেন। তোমরা নরম মাটিতে অট্টালিকা নির্মান কর এবং পর্বত গাত্র খনন করে প্রকোষ্ঠ নির্মাণ কর। অতএব আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ স্মরণ কর এবং পৃথিবীতে অনর্থ সৃষ্টি করো না।
"And remember how He made you inheritors after the 'Ad people and gave you habitations in the land: ye build for yourselves palaces and castles in (open) plains, and carve out homes in the mountains; so bring to remembrance the benefits (ye have received) from Allah, and refrain from evil and mischief on the earth." |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৪) |
| 94 |
তোমরা পথে ঘাটে এ কারণে বসে থেকো না যে, আল্লাহ বিশ্বাসীদেরকে হুমকি দিবে, আল্লাহর পথে বাধা সৃষ্টি করবে এবং তাতে বক্রতা অনুসন্ধান করবে। স্মরণ কর, যখন তোমরা সংখ্যায় অল্প ছিলে অতঃপর আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে অধিক করেছেন এবং লক্ষ্য কর কিরূপ অশুভ পরিণতি হয়েছে অনর্থকারীদের।
"And squat not on every road, breathing threats, hindering from the path of Allah those who believe in Him, and seeking in it something crooked; But remember how ye were little, and He gave you increase. And hold in your mind's eye what was the end of those who did mischief. |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৮৬) |
| 95 |
অনন্তর সে তাদের কাছ থেকে প্রস্থান করল এবং বললঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, আমি তোমাদেরকে প্রতিপালকের পয়গাম পৌছে দিয়েছি এবং তোমাদের হিত কামনা করেছি। এখন আমি কাফেরদের জন্যে কেন দুঃখ করব।
So Shu'aib left them, saying: "O my people! I did indeed convey to you the messages for which I was sent by my Lord: I gave you good counsel, but how shall I lament over a people who refuse to believe!" |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৯৩) |

তারা বলল, আমাদের কষ্ট ছিল তোমার আসার পূর্বে এবং তোমার আসার পরে। তিনি বললেন, তোমাদের পরওয়ারদেগার শীঘ্রই তোমাদের শক্রদের ধ্বংস করে দেবেন এবং তোমাদেরকে দেশে প্রতিনিধিত্ব দান করবেন। তারপর দেখবেন, তোমরা কেমন কাজ কর।
They said: "We have had (nothing but) trouble, both before and after thou camest to us." He said: "It may be that your Lord will destroy your enemy and make you inheritors in the earth; that so He may try you by your deeds." |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১২৯) |
| 97 |
আর সে সময়ের কথা স্মরণ কর, যখন আমি তোমাদেরকে ফেরাউনের লোকদের কবল থেকে মুক্তি দিয়েছি; তারা তোমাদেরকে দিত নিকৃষ্ট শাস্তি, তোমাদের পুত্র-সন্তানদের মেরে ফেলত এবং মেয়েদের বাঁচিয়ে রাখত। এতে তোমাদের প্রতি তোমাদের পরওয়ারদেগারের বিরাট পরীক্ষা রয়েছে।
And remember We rescued you from Pharaoh's people, who afflicted you with the worst of penalties, who slew your male children and saved alive your females: in that was a momentous trial from your Lord. |

আয়াতঃ ১৪১) |
| 98 |
আর যখন তোমাদেরকে দেখালেন সে সৈন্যদল মোকাবেলার সময় তোমাদের চোখে অল্প এবং তোমাদেরকে দেখালেন তাদের চোখে বেশী, যাতে আল্লাহ সে কাজ করে নিতে পারেন যা ছিল নির্ধারিত। আর সব কাজই আল্লাহর নিকট গিয়ে পৌছায়।
And remember when ye met, He showed them to you as few in your eyes, and He made you appear as contemptible in their eyes: that Allah might accomplish a matter already enacted. For to Allah do all questions go back (for decision). |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪) |

হে নবী, তাদেরকে বলে দাও, যারা তোমার হাতে বন্দী হয়ে আছে যে, আল্লাহ যদি তোমাদের অন্তরে কোন রকম মঙ্গলচিন্তা রয়েছে বলে জানেন, তবে তোমাদেরকে তার চেয়ে বহুগুণ বেশী দান করবেন যা তোমাদের কাছ থেকে বিনিময়ে নেয়া হয়েছে। তাছাড়া তোমাদেরকে তিনি ক্ষমা করে দিবেন। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, করুণাময়।
O Prophet! say to those who are captives in your hands: "If Allah findeth any good in your hearts, He will give you something better than what has been taken from you, and He will forgive you: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful." |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৭০) |

আর তুমি বলে দাও, তোমরা আমল করে যাও, তার পরবর্তীতে আল্লাহ দেখবেন তোমাদের কাজ এবং দেখবেন রসূল ও মুসলমানগণ। তাছাড়া তোমরা শীগ্রই প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে তাঁর সান্নিধ্যে যিনি গোপন ও প্রকাশ্য বিষয়ে অবগত। তারপর তিনি জানিয়ে দেবেন তোমাদেরকে যা করতে।
And say: "Work (righteousness): Soon will Allah observe your work, and His Messenger, and the Believers: Soon will ye be brought back to the knower of what is hidden and what is open: then will He show you the truth of all that ye did." |
(আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১০৫) |

অতঃপর আমি তোমাদেরকে যমীনে তাদের পর প্রতিনিধি বানিয়েছি যাতে দেখতে পারি তোমরা কি কর।
Then We made you heirs in the land after them, to see how ye would behave! |

আয়াতঃ ১৪) |

তুমি জিজ্ঞেস কর, কে রুযী দান করে তোমাদেরকে আসমান থেকে ও যমীন থেকে, কিংবা কে তোমাদের কান ও চোখের মালিক? তাছাড়া কে জীবিতকে মৃতের ভেতর থেকে বের করেন এবং কেইবা মৃতকে জীবিতের মধ্য থেকে বের করেন? কে করেন কর্ম সম্পাদনের ব্যবস্থাপনা? তখন তারা বলে উঠবে, আল্লাহ! তখন তুমি বলো তারপরেও ভয় করছ না?
Say: "Who is it that sustains you (in life) from the sky and from the earth? or who is it that has power over hearing and sight? And who is it that brings out the living from the dead and the dead from the living? and who is it that rules and regulates all affairs?" They will soon say, "Allah". Say, "will ye not then show piety (to Him)?" |

তারা বলল, তুমি কি আমাদেরকে সে পথ থেকে ফিরিয়ে দিতে এসেছ যাতে আমরা পেয়েছি আমাদের বাপ-দাদাদেরকে? আর যাতে তোমরা দুইজন এদেশের সর্দারী পেয়ে যেতে পার? আমরা তোমাদেরকে কিছুতেই মানব না।
They said: "Hast thou come to us to turn us away from the ways we found our fathers following,- in order that thou and thy brother may have greatness in the land? But not we shall believe in you!" |
(ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৭৮) |

বলে দাও-হে মানবকুল, তোমরা যদি আমার দ্বীনের ব্যাপারে সন্দিহান হয়ে থাক, তবে (জেনো) আমি তাদের এবাদত করি না যাদের এবাদত তোমরা কর আল্লাহ ব্যতীত। কিন্তু আমি এবাদত করি আল্লাহ ত’য়ালার, যিনি তুলে নেন তোমাদেরকে। আর আমার প্রতি নির্দেশ হয়েছে যাতে আমি ঈমানদারদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত থাকি।
Say: "O ye men! If ye are in doubt as to my religion, (behold!) I worship not what ye worship, other than Allah! But I worship Allah - Who will take your souls (at death): I am commanded to be (in the ranks) of the Believers, |

আর তোমরা নিজেদের পালনকর্তা সমীপে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা কর। অনন্তর তাঁরই প্রতি মনোনিবেশ কর। তাহলে তিনি তোমাদেরকে নির্দিষ্ট সময় পর্যন্ত উৎকৃষ্ট জীবনোপকরণ দান করবেন এবং অধিক আমলকারীকে বেশী করে দেবেন আর যদি তোমরা বিমুখ হতে থাক, তবে আমি তোমাদের উপর এক মহা দিবসের আযাবের আশঙ্কা করছি।
"(And to preach thus), 'Seek ye the forgiveness of your Lord, and turn to Him in repentance; that He may grant you enjoyment, good (and true), for a term appointed, and bestow His abounding grace on all who abound in merit! But if ye turn away, then I fear for you the penalty of a great day: |

আল্লাহর সান্নিধ্যেই তোমাদেরকে ফিরে যেতে হবে। আর তিনি সব কিছুর উপর ক্ষমতাবান।
'To Allah is your return, and He hath power over all things.'" |

আয়াতঃ ৪) |
| 107 |
তিনিই আসমান ও যমীন ছয় দিনে তৈরী করেছেন, তাঁর আরশ ছিল পানির উপরে, তিনি তোমাদেরকে পরীক্ষা করতে চান যে, তোমাদের মধ্যে কে সবচেয়ে ভাল কাজ করে। আর যদি আপনি তাদেরকে বলেন যে, "নিশ্চয় তোমাদেরকে মৃত্যুর পরে জীবিত ওঠানো হবে, তখন কাফেরেরা অবশ্য বলে এটা তো স্পষ্ট যাদু!";
He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days - and His Throne was over the waters - that He might try you, which of you is best in conduct. But if thou wert to say to them, "Ye shall indeed be raised up after death", the Unbelievers would be sure to say, "This is nothing but obvious sorcery!" |

আয়াতঃ ৭) |
| 108 |
আর আমি তোমাদেরকে বলি না যে, আমার কাছে আল্লাহর ভান্ডার রয়েছে এবং একথাও বলি না যে, আমি গায়বী খবরও জানি; একথাও বলি না যে, আমি একজন ফেরেশতা; আর তোমাদের দৃষ্টিতে যারা লাঞ্ছিত আল্লাহ তাদের কোন কল্যাণ দান করবেন না। তাদের মনের কথা আল্লাহ ভাল করেই জানেন। সুতরাং এমন কথা বললে আমি অন্যায় কারী হব।
"I tell you not that with me are the treasures of Allah, nor do I know what is hidden, nor claim I to be an angel. Nor yet do I say, of those whom your eyes do despise that Allah will not grant them (all) that is good: Allah knoweth best what is in their souls: I should, if I did, indeed be a wrong-doer." |

আর আমি তোমাদের নসীহত করতে চাইলেও তা তোমাদের জন্য ফলপ্রসূ হবে না, যদি আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে গোমরাহ করতে চান; তিনিই তোমাদের পালনকর্তা এবং তাঁর কাছেই তোমাদের ফিরে যেতে হবে।
"Of no profit will be my counsel to you, much as I desire to give you (good) counsel, if it be that Allah willeth to leave you astray: He is your Lord! and to Him will ye return!" |

তথাপি যদি তোমরা মুখ ফেরাও, তবে আমি তোমাদেরকে তা পৌছিয়েছি যা আমার কাছে তোমাদের প্রতি প্রেরিত হয়েছে; আর আমার পালনকর্তা অন্য কোন জাতিকে তোমাদের স্থলাভিষিক্ত করবেন, আর তোমরা তাঁর কিছুই বিগড়াতে পারবে না; নিশ্চয়ই আমার পরওয়ারদেগারই প্রতিটি বস্তুর হেফাজতকারী।
"If ye turn away,- I (at least) have conveyed the Message with which I was sent to you. My Lord will make another people to succeed you, and you will not harm Him in the least. For my Lord hath care and watch over all things." |

আর সামুদ জাতি প্রতি তাদের ভাই সালেহ কে প্রেরণ করি; তিনি বললেন, হে আমার জাতি। আল্লাহর বন্দেগী কর, তিনি ছাড়া তোমাদের কোন উপাস্য নাই। তিনিই যমীন হতে তোমাদেরকে পয়দা করেছেন, তন্মধ্যে তোমাদেরকে বসতি দান করেছেন। অতএব; তাঁর কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা কর অতঃপর তাঁরই দিকে ফিরে চল আমার পালনকর্তা নিকটেই আছেন, কবুল করে থাকেন; সন্দেহ নেই।
To the Thamud People (We sent) Salih, one of their own brethren. He said: "O my people! Worship Allah: ye have no other god but Him. It is He Who hath produced you from the earth and settled you therein: then ask forgiveness of Him, and turn to Him (in repentance): for my Lord is (always) near, ready to answer." |

আর হে আমার জাতি! আল্লাহর এ উষ্ট্রীটি তোমাদের জন্য নিদর্শন, অতএব তাকে আল্লাহর যমীনে বিচরণ করে খেতে দাও, এবং তাকে মন্দভাবে স্পর্শও করবে না। নতুবা অতি সত্বর তোমাদেরকে আযাব পাকড়াও করবে।
"And O my people! This she-camel of Allah is a symbol to you: leave her to feed on Allah's (free) earth, and inflict no harm on her, or a swift penalty will seize you!" |

আর মাদইয়ানবাসীদের প্রতি তাদের ভাই শোয়ায়েব (আঃ) কে প্রেরণ করেছি। তিনি বললেন-হে আমার কওম! আল্লাহর বন্দেগী কর, তিনি ছাড়া আমাদের কোন মাবুদ নাই। আর পরিমাপে ও ওজনে কম দিও না, আজ আমি তোমাদেরকে ভাল অবস্থায়ই দেখছি, কিন্তু আমি তোমাদের উপর এমন একদিনের আযাবের আশঙ্কা করছি যেদিনটি পরিবেষ্টনকারী।
To the Madyan People (We sent) Shu'aib, one of their own brethren: he said: "O my people! worship Allah: Ye have no other god but Him. And give not short measure or weight: I see you in prosperity, but I fear for you the penalty of a day that will compass (you) all round. |

শোয়ায়েব (আঃ) বললেন-হে দেশবাসী, তোমরা কি মনে কর! আমি যদি আমার পরওয়ারদেগারের পক্ষ হতে সুস্পষ্ট দলীলের উপর কায়েম থাকি আর তিনি যদি নিজের তরফ হতে আমাকে উত্তম রিযিক দান করে থাকেন, (তবে কি আমি তাঁর হুকুম অমান্য করতে পারি?) আর আমি চাই না যে তোমাদেরকে যা ছাড়াতে চাই পরে নিজেই সে কাজে লিপ্ত হব, আমি তো যথাসাধ্য শোধরাতে চাই। আল্লাহর মদদ দ্বারাই কিন্তু কাজ হয়ে থাকে, আমি তাঁর উপরই নির্ভর করি এবং তাঁরই প্রতি ফিরে যাই।
He said: "O my people! see ye whether I have a Clear (Sign) from my Lord, and He hath given me sustenance (pure and) good as from Himself? I wish not, in opposition to you, to do that which I forbid you to do. I only desire (your) betterment to the best of my power; and my success (in my task) can only come from Allah. In Him I trust, and unto Him I look. |

আর পাপিষ্ঠদের প্রতি ঝুঁকবে না। নতুবা তোমাদেরকেও আগুনে ধরবে। আর আল্লাহ ব্যতীত তোমাদের কোন বন্ধু নাই। অতএব কোথাও সাহায্য পাবে না।
And incline not to those who do wrong, or the Fire will seize you; and ye have no protectors other than Allah, nor shall ye be helped. |

এবং তারা তার জামায় কৃত্রিম রক্ত লাগিয়ে আনল। বললেনঃ এটা কখনই নয়; বরং তোমাদের মন তোমাদেরকে একটা কথা সাজিয়ে দিয়েছে। সুতরাং এখন ছবর করাই শ্রেয়। তোমরা যা বর্ণনা করছ, সে বিষয়ে একমাত্র আল্লাহই আমার সাহায্য স্থল।
They stained his shirt with false blood. He said: "Nay, but your minds have made up a tale (that may pass) with you, (for me) patience is most fitting: Against that which ye assert, it is Allah (alone) Whose help can be sought".. |

আয়াতঃ ১৮) |

তিনি বললেনঃ তোমাদেরকে প্রত্যহ যে খাদ্য দেয়া হয়, তা তোমাদের কাছে আসার আগেই আমি তার ব্যাখ্যা বলে দেব। এ জ্ঞান আমার পালনকর্তা আমাকে শিক্ষা দিয়েছেন। আমি ঐসব লোকের ধর্ম পরিত্যাগ করেছি যারা আল্লাহর প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে না এবং পরকালে অবিশ্বাসী।
He said: "Before any food comes (in due course) to feed either of you, I will surely reveal to you the truth and meaning of this ere it befall you: that is part of the (duty) which my Lord hath taught me. I have (I assure you) abandoned the ways of a people that believe not in Allah and that (even) deny the Hereafter. |

দু’জন কারারুদ্ধের মধ্য থেকে যে ব্যক্তি মুক্তি পেয়েছিল এবং দীর্ঘকাল পর স্মরণ হলে, সে বলল, আমি তোমাদেরকে এর ব্যাখ্যা বলছি। তোমরা আমাকে প্রেরণ কর।
But the man who had been released, one of the two (who had been in prison) and who now bethought him after (so long) a space of time, said: "I will tell you the truth of its interpretation: send ye me (therefore)." |

আয়াতঃ ৪৫) |

বললেন, আমি তার সম্পর্কে তোমাদেরকে কি সেরূপ বিশ্বাস করব, যেমন ইতিপূর্বে তার ভাই সম্পর্কে বিশ্বাস করেছিলাম? অতএব আল্লাহ উত্তম হেফাযতকারী এবং তিনিই সর্বাধিক দয়ালু।
He said: "Shall I trust you with him with any result other than when I trusted you with his brother aforetime? But Allah is the best to take care (of him), and He is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy!" |

ইয়াকুব বললেনঃ হে আমার বৎসগণ! সবাই একই প্রবেশদ্বার দিয়ে যেয়ো না, বরং পৃথক পৃথক দরজা দিয়ে প্রবেশ করো। আল্লাহর কোন বিধান থেকে আমি তোমাদেরকে রক্ষা করতে পারি না। নির্দেশ আল্লাহরই চলে। তাঁরই উপর আমি ভরসা করি এবং তাঁরই উপর ভরসা করা উচিত ভরসাকারীদের।
Further he said: "O my sons! enter not all by one gate: enter ye by different gates. Not that I can profit you aught against Allah (with my advice): None can command except Allah: On Him do I put my trust: and let all that trust put their trust on Him." |

অতঃপর যখন সুসংবাদদাতা পৌঁছল, সে জামাটি তাঁর মুখে রাখল। অমনি তিনি দৃষ্টি শক্তি ফিরে পেলেন। বললেনঃ আমি কি তোমাদেরকে বলিনি যে, আমি আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে যা জানি তোমরা তা জান না?
Then when the bearer of the good news came, He cast (the shirt) over his face, and he forthwith regained clear sight. He said: "Did I not say to you, 'I know from Allah that which ye know not?'" |

তিনিই তোমাদেরকে বিদ্যুৎ দেখান ভয়ের জন্যে এবং আশার জন্যে এবং উক্ষিত করেন ঘন মেঘমালা।
It is He Who doth show you the lightning, by way both of fear and of hope: It is He Who doth raise up the clouds, heavy with (fertilising) rain! |

যখন মূসা স্বজাতিকে বললেনঃ তোমাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ স্মরণ কর যখন তিনি তোমাদেরকে ফেরাউনের সম্প্রদায়ের কবল থেকে মুক্তি দেন। তারা তোমাদেরকে অত্যন্ত নিকৃষ্ট ধরনের শাস্তি দিত, তোমাদের ছেলেদেরকে হত্যা করত এবং তোমাদের মেয়েদেরকে জীবিত রাখত। এবং এতে তোমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে বিরাট পরীক্ষা হয়েছিল।
Remember! Moses said to his people: "Call to mind the favour of Allah to you when He delivered you from the people of Pharaoh: they set you hard tasks and punishments, slaughtered your sons, and let your women-folk live: therein was a tremendous trial from your Lord." |

আয়াতঃ ৬) |

যখন তোমাদের পালনকর্তা ঘোষণা করলেন যে, যদি কৃতজ্ঞতা স্বীকার কর, তবে তোমাদেরকে আরও দেব এবং যদি অকৃতজ্ঞ হও তবে নিশ্চয়ই আমার শাস্তি হবে কঠোর।
And remember! your Lord caused to be declared (publicly): "If ye are grateful, I will add more (favours) unto you; But if ye show ingratitude, truly My punishment is terrible indeed." |

তোমাদের কাছে কি তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তী কওমে নূহ, আদ ও সামুদের এবং তাদের পরবর্তীদের খবর পৌছেনি? তাদের বিষয়ে আল্লাহ ছাড়া আর কেউ জানে না। তাদের কাছে তাদের পয়গম্বর প্রমানাদি নিয়ে আগমন করেন। অতঃপর তারা নিজেদের হাত নিজেদের মুখে রেখে দিয়েছে এবং বলেছে, যা কিছু সহ তোমাদেরকে প্রেরণ করা হয়েছে, আমরা তা মানি না এবং যে পথের দিকে তোমরা আমাদেরকে দাওয়াত দাও, সে সম্পর্কে আমাদের মনে সন্দেহ আছে, যা আমাদেরকে উৎকন্ঠায় ফেলে রেখেছে।
Has not the story reached you, (O people!), of those who (went) before you? - of the people of Noah, and 'Ad, and Thamud? - And of those who (came) after them? None knows them but Allah. To them came messengers with Clear (Signs); but they put their hands up to their mouths, and said: "We do deny (the mission) on which ye have been sent, and we are really in suspicious (disquieting) doubt as to that to which ye invite us." |

তাদের পয়গম্বরগণ বলেছিলেনঃ আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে কি সন্দেহ আছে, যিনি নভোমন্ডল ও ভুমন্ডলের স্রষ্টা? তিনি তোমাদেরকে আহবান করেন যাতে তোমাদের কিছু গুনাহ ক্ষমা করেন এবং নির্দিষ্ট মেয়াদ পর্যন্ত তোমাদের সময় দেন। তারা বলতঃ তোমরা তো আমাদের মতই মানুষ! তোমরা আমাদেরকে ঐ উপাস্য থেকে বিরত রাখতে চাও, যার এবাদত আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষগণ করত। অতএব তোমরা কোন সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ আনয়ন কর।
Their messengers said: "Is there a doubt about Allah, The Creator of the heavens and the earth? It is He Who invites you, in order that He may forgive you your sins and give you respite for a term appointed!" They said: "Ah! ye are no more than human, like ourselves! Ye wish to turn us away from the (gods) our fathers used to worship: then bring us some clear authority." |

আয়াতঃ ১০) |

কাফেররা পয়গম্বরগণকে বলেছিলঃ আমরা তোমাদেরকে দেশ থেকে বের করে দেব অথবা তোমরা আমাদের ধর্মে ফিরে আসবে। তখন তাদের কাছে তাদের পালনকর্তা ওহী প্রেরণ করলেন যে, আমি জালিমদেরকে অবশ্যই ধ্বংস করে দেব।
And the Unbelievers said to their messengers: "Be sure we shall drive you out of our land, or ye shall return to our religion." But their Lord inspired (this Message) to them: "Verily We shall cause the wrong-doers to perish! |
(ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ১৩) |

তাদের পর তোমাদেরকে দেশে আবাদ করব। এটা ঐ ব্যক্তি পায়, যে আমার সামনে দন্ডায়মান হওয়াকে এবং আমার আযাবের ওয়াদাকে ভয় করে।
"And verily We shall cause you to abide in the land, and succeed them. This for such as fear the Time when they shall stand before My tribunal,- such as fear the punishment denounced." |
(ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ১৪) |

তুমি কি দেখনি যে, আল্লাহ নভোমন্ডল ও ভুমন্ডল যথাবিধি সৃষ্টি করেছেন? যদি তিনি ইচ্ছা করেন, তবে তোমাদেরকে বিলুপ্তিতে নিয়ে যাবেন এবং নতুন সৃষ্টি আনয়ন করবেন।
Seest thou not that Allah created the heavens and the earth in Truth? If He so will, He can remove you and put (in your place) a new creation? |
(ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ১৯) |
| 130 |
যখন সব কাজের ফায়সলা হয়ে যাবে, তখন শয়তান বলবেঃ নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে সত্য ওয়াদা দিয়েছিলেন এবং আমি তোমাদের সাথে ওয়াদা করেছি, অতঃপর তা ভঙ্গ করেছি। তোমাদের উপর তো আমার কোন ক্ষমতা ছিল না, কিন্তু এতটুকু যে, আমি তোমাদেরকে ডেকেছি, অতঃপর তোমরা আমার কথা মেনে নিয়েছ। অতএব তোমরা আমাকে ভৎর্সনা করো না এবং নিজেদেরকেই ভৎর্সনা কর। আমি তোমাদের উদ্ধারে সাহায্যকারী নই। এবং তোমরাও আমার উদ্ধারে সাহায্যকারী নও। ইতোপূর্বে তোমরা আমাকে যে আল্লাহর শরীক করেছিলে, আমি তা অস্বীকার করি। নিশ্চয় যারা জালেম তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি।
And Satan will say when the matter is decided: "It was Allah Who gave you a promise of Truth: I too promised, but I failed in my promise to you. I had no authority over you except to call you but ye listened to me: then reproach not me, but reproach your own souls. I cannot listen to your cries, nor can ye listen to mine. I reject your former act in associating me with Allah. For wrong-doers there must be a grievous penalty." |
(ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ২২) |

এবং তারা আল্লাহর জন্যে সমকক্ষ স্থির করেছে, যাতে তারা তার পথ থেকে বিচ্যুত করে দেয়। বলুনঃ মজা উপভোগ করে নাও। অতঃপর তোমাদেরকে অগ্নির দিকেই ফিরে যেতে হবে।
And they set up (idols) as equal to Allah, to mislead (men) from the Path! Say: "Enjoy (your brief power)! But verily ye are making straightway for Hell!" |
(ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ৩০) |
| 132 |
যে সকল বস্তু তোমরা চেয়েছ, তার প্রত্যেকটি থেকেই তিনি তোমাদেরকে দিয়েছেন। যদি আল্লাহর নেয়ামত গণনা কর, তবে গুণে শেষ করতে পারবে না। নিশ্চয় মানুষ অত্যন্ত অন্যায়কারী, অকৃতজ্ঞ।
And He giveth you of all that ye ask for. But if ye count the favours of Allah, never will ye be able to number them. Verily, man is given up to injustice and ingratitude. |
(ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ৩৪) |

মানুষকে ঐ দিনের ভয় প্রদর্শন করুন, যেদিন তাদের কাছে আযাব আসবে। তখন জালেমরা বলবেঃ হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আমাদেরকে সামান্য মেয়াদ পর্যন্ত সময় দিন, যাতে আমরা আপনার আহবানে সাড়া দিতে এবং পয়গম্বরগণের অনুসরণ করতে পারি। তোমরা কি ইতোপূর্বে কসম খেতে না যে, তোমাদেরকে দুনিয়া থেকে যেতে হবে না?
So warn mankind of the Day when the Wrath will reach them: then will the wrong-doers say: "Our Lord! respite us (if only) for a short term: we will answer Thy call, and follow the messengers!" "What! were ye not wont to swear aforetime that ye should suffer no decline? |

আয়াতঃ ৪৪) |

তোমরা তাদের বাসভূমিতেই বসবাস করতে, যারা নিজেদের উপর জুলুম করেছে এবং তোমাদের জানা হয়ে গিয়েছিল যে, আমি তাদের সাথে কিরূপ ব্যবহার করেছি এবং আমি তোমাদেরকে ওদের সব কাহিনীই বর্ণনা করেছি।
"And ye dwelt in the dwellings of men who wronged their own souls; ye were clearly shown how We dealt with them; and We put forth (many) parables in your behoof!" |
(ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ৪৫) |

আমি বৃষ্টিগর্ভ বায়ু পরিচালনা করি অতঃপর আকাশ থেকে পানি বর্ষণ করি, এরপর তোমাদেরকে তা পান করাই। বস্তুতঃ তোমাদের কাছে এর ভান্ডার নেই।
And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. |

আয়াতঃ ২২) |

এবং তিনি পৃথিবীর উপর বোঝা রেখেছেন যে, কখনো যেন তা তোমাদেরকে নিয়ে হেলে-দুলে না পড়ে এবং নদী ও পথ তৈরী করেছেন, যাতে তোমরা পথ প্রদর্শিত হও।
And He has set up on the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you; and rivers and roads; that ye may guide yourselves; |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ১৫) |

তোমাদের জন্যে চতুস্পদ জন্তুদের মধ্যে চিন্তা করার অবকাশ রয়েছে। আমি তোমাদেরকে পান করাই তাদের উদরস্থিত বস্তুসমুহের মধ্যে থেকে গোবর ও রক্ত নিঃসৃত দুগ্ধ যা পানকারীদের জন্যে উপাদেয়।
And verily in cattle (too) will ye find an instructive sign. From what is within their bodies between excretions and blood, We produce, for your drink, milk, pure and agreeable to those who drink it. |

আয়াতঃ ৬৬) |

আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন এরপর তোমাদের মৃত্যুদান করেন। তোমাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ পৌছে যায় জরাগ্রস্ত অকর্মন্য বয়সে, ফলে যা কিছু তারা জানত সে সম্পর্কে তারা সজ্ঞান থাকবে না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সু-বিজ্ঞ সর্বশক্তিমান।
It is Allah who creates you and takes your souls at death; and of you there are some who are sent back to a feeble age, so that they know nothing after having known (much): for Allah is All-Knowing, All-Powerful. |

আয়াতঃ ৭০) |

আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্যে তোমাদেরই শ্রেণী থেকে জোড়া পয়দা করেছেন এবং তোমাদের যুগল থেকে তোমাদেরকে পুত্র ও পৌত্রাদি দিয়েছেন এবং তোমাদেরকে উত্তম জীবনোপকরণ দান করেছেন। অতএব তারা কি মিথ্যা বিষয়ে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ অস্বীকার করে?
And Allah has made for you mates (and companions) of your own nature, and made for you, out of them, sons and daughters and grandchildren, and provided for you sustenance of the best: will they then believe in vain things, and be ungrateful for Allah's favours?- |

আয়াতঃ ৭২) |

আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে তোমাদের মায়ের গর্ভ থেকে বের করেছেন। তোমরা কিছুই জানতে না। তিনি তোমাদেরকে কর্ণ, চক্ষু ও অন্তর দিয়েছেন, যাতে তোমরা অনুগ্রহ স্বীকার কর।
It is He Who brought you forth from the wombs of your mothers when ye knew nothing; and He gave you hearing and sight and intelligence and affections: that ye may give thanks (to Allah). |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৭৮) |

আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্যে সৃজিত বস্তু দ্বারা ছায়া করে দিয়েছেন এবং পাহাড় সমূহে তোমাদের জন্যে আত্ন গোপনের জায়গা করেছেন এবং তোমাদের জন্যে পোশাক তৈরী করে দিয়েছেন, যা তোমাদেরকে গ্রীষ্ম এবং বিপদের সময় রক্ষা করে। এমনিভাবে তিনি তোমাদের প্রতি স্বীয় অনুগ্রহের পূর্ণতা দান করেন, যাতে তোমরা আত্নসমর্পণ কর।
It is Allah Who made out of the things He created, some things to give you shade; of the hills He made some for your shelter; He made you garments to protect you from heat, and coats of mail to protect you from your (mutual) violence. Thus does He complete His favours on you, that ye may bow to His Will (in Islam). |

আয়াতঃ ৮১) |

অতএব, আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে যেসব হালাল ও পবিত্র বস্তু দিয়েছেন, তা তোমরা আহার কর এবং আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহের জন্যে কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ কর যদি তোমরা তাঁরই এবাদতকারী হয়ে থাক।
So eat of the sustenance which Allah has provided for you, lawful and good; and be grateful for the favours of Allah, if it is He Whom ye serve. |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ১১৪) |

আর যদি তোমরা প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণ কর, তবে ঐ পরিমাণ প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণ করবে, যে পরিমাণ তোমাদেরকে কষ্ট দেয়া হয়। যদি সবর কর, তবে তা সবরকারীদের জন্যে উত্তম।
And if ye do catch them out, catch them out no worse than they catch you out: But if ye show patience, that is indeed the best (course) for those who are patient. |

আয়াতঃ ১২৬) |

অতঃপর আমি তোমাদের জন্যে তাদের বিরুদ্ধে পালা ঘুয়িয়ে দিলাম, তোমাদেরকে ধন-সম্পদ ও পুত্রসন্তান দ্বারা সাহায্য করলাম এবং তোমাদেরকে জনসংখ্যার দিক দিয়ে একটা বিরাট বাহিনীতে পরিণত করলাম।
Then did We grant you the Return as against them: We gave you increase in resources and sons, and made you the more numerous in man-power. |

দারিদ্রের ভয়ে তোমাদের সন্তানদেরকে হত্যা করো না। তাদেরকে এবং তোমাদেরকে আমিই জীবনোপকরণ দিয়ে থাকি। নিশ্চয় তাদেরকে হত্যা করা মারাত্নক অপরাধ।
Kill not your children for fear of want: We shall provide sustenance for them as well as for you. Verily the killing of them is a great sin. |

অথবা এমন কোন বস্তু, যা তোমাদের ধারণায় খুবই কঠিন; তথাপি তারা বলবেঃ আমাদের কে পুর্নবার কে সৃষ্টি করবে। বলুনঃ যিনি তোমাদেরকে প্রথমবার সৃজন করেছেন। অতঃপর তারা আপনার সামনে মাথা নাড়বে এবং বলবেঃ এটা কবে হবে? বলুনঃ হবে, সম্ভবতঃ শ্রীঘ্রই।
"Or created matter which, in your minds, is hardest (to be raised up),- (Yet shall ye be raised up)!" then will they say: "Who will cause us to return?" Say: "He who created you first!" Then will they wag their heads towards thee, and say, "When will that be?" Say, "May be it will be quite soon! |

যেদিন তিনি তোমাদেরকে আহবান করবেন, অতঃপর তোমরা তাঁর প্রশংসা করতে করতে চলে আসবে। এবং তোমরা অনুমান করবে যে, সামান্য সময়ই অবস্থান করেছিলে।
"It will be on a Day when He will call you, and ye will answer (His call) with (words of) His praise, and ye will think that ye tarried but a little while!" |

যখন সমুদ্রে তোমাদের উপর বিপদ আসে, তখন শুধু আল্লাহ ব্যতীত যাদেরকে তোমরা আহবান করে থাক তাদেরকে তোমরা বিস্মৃত হয়ে যাও। অতঃপর তিনি যখন তোমাদেরকে স্থলে ভিড়িয়ে উদ্ধার করে নেন, তখন তোমরা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নাও। মানুষ বড়ই অকৃতজ্ঞ।
When distress seizes you at sea, those that ye call upon - besides Himself - leave you in the lurch! but when He brings you back safe to land, ye turn away (from Him). Most ungrateful is man! |

তোমরা কি এ বিষয়ে নিশ্চিন্ত রয়েছ যে, তিনি তোমাদেরকে স্থলভাগে কোথাও ভূগর্ভস্থ করবেন না। অথবা তোমাদের উপর প্রস্তর বর্ষণকারী ঘুর্ণিঝড় প্রেরণ করবেন না, তখন তোমরা নিজেদের জন্যে কোন কর্মবিধায়ক পাবে না।
Do ye then feel secure that He will not cause you to be swallowed up beneath the earth when ye are on land, or that He will not send against you a violent tornado (with showers of stones) so that ye shall find no one to carry out your affairs for you? |

অথবা তোমরা কি এ বিষয়ে নিশ্চিন্ত যে, তিনি তোমাদেরকে আরেকবার সমুদ্রে নিয়ে যাবেন না, অতঃপর তোমাদের জন্যে মহা ঝটিকা প্রেরণ করবেন না, অতঃপর অকৃতজ্ঞতার শাস্তিস্বরূপ তোমাদেরকে নিমজ্জত করবেন না, তখন তোমরা আমার বিরুদ্ধে এ বিষয়ে সাহায্যকারী কাউকে পাবে না।
Or do ye feel secure that He will not send you back a second time to sea and send against you a heavy gale to drown you because of your ingratitude, so that ye find no helper. Therein against Us? |

তারা আপনাকে রূহ সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞেস করে। বলে দিনঃ রূহ আমার পালনকর্তার আদেশ ঘটিত। এ বিষয়ে তোমাদেরকে সামান্য জ্ঞানই দান করা হয়েছে।
They ask thee concerning the Spirit (of inspiration). Say: "The Spirit (cometh) by command of my Lord: of knowledge it is only a little that is communicated to you, (O men!)" |

আয়াতঃ ৮৫) |

তারা যদি তোমাদের খবর জানতে পারে, তবে পাথর মেরে তোমাদেরকে হত্যা করবে, অথবা তোমাদেরকে তাদের ধর্মে ফিরিয়ে নেবে। তাহলে তোমরা কখনই সাফল্য লাভ করবে না।
"For if they should come upon you, they would stone you or force you to return to their cult, and in that case ye would never attain prosperity." |
(কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ২০) |

তারা আপনার পালনকর্তার সামনে পেশ হবে সারিবদ্ধ ভাবে এবং বলা হবেঃ তোমরা আমার কাছে এসে গেছ; যেমন তোমাদেরকে প্রথম বার সৃষ্টি করেছিলাম। না, তোমরা তো বলতে যে, আমি তোমাদের জন্যে কোন প্রতিশ্রুত সময় নির্দিষ্ট করব না।
And they will be marshalled before thy Lord in ranks, (with the announcement), "Now have ye come to Us (bare) as We created you first: aye, ye thought We shall not fulfil the appointment made to you to meet (Us)!": |

বলুনঃ আমি কি তোমাদেরকে সেসব লোকের সংবাদ দেব, যারা কর্মের দিক দিয়ে খুবই ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।
Say: "Shall we tell you of those who lose most in respect of their deeds?- |

আমি পরিত্যাগ করছি তোমাদেরকে এবং তোমরা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত যাদের এবাদত কর তাদেরকে; আমি আমার পালনকর্তার এবাদত করব। আশা করি, আমার পালনকর্তার এবাদত করে আমি বঞ্চিত হব না।
"And I will turn away from you (all) and from those whom ye invoke besides Allah: I will call on my Lord: perhaps, by my prayer to my Lord, I shall be not unblest." |

যখন তোমার ভগিনী এসে বললঃ আমি কি তোমাদেরকে বলে দেব কে তাকে লালন পালন করবে। অতঃপর আমি তোমাকে তোমার মাতার কাছে ফিরিয়ে দিলাম, যাতে তার চক্ষু শীতল হয় এবং দুঃখ না পায়। তুমি এক ব্যক্তিকে হত্যা করেছিলে, অতঃপর আমি তোমাকে এই দুশ্চিন্তা থেকে মুক্তি দেই; আমি তোমাকে অনেক পরীক্ষা করেছি। অতঃপর তুমি কয়েক বছর মাদইয়ান বাসীদের মধ্যে অবস্থান করেছিলে; হে মূসা, অতঃপর তুমি নির্ধারিত সময়ে এসেছ।
"Behold! thy sister goeth forth and saith, 'shall I show you one who will nurse and rear the (child)?' So We brought thee back to thy mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve. Then thou didst slay a man, but We saved thee from trouble, and We tried thee in various ways. Then didst thou tarry a number of years with the people of Midian. Then didst thou come hither as ordained, O Moses! |

আয়াতঃ ৪০) |

এ মাটি থেকেই আমি তোমাদেরকে সৃজন করেছি, এতেই তোমাদেরকে ফিরিয়ে দিব এবং পুনরায় এ থেকেই আমি তোমাদেরকে উত্থিত করব।
From the (earth) did We create you, and into it shall We return you, and from it shall We bring you out once again. |

মূসা (আঃ) তাদেরকে বললেনঃ দুর্ভাগ্য তোমাদের; তোমরা আল্লাহর প্রতি মিথ্যা আরোপ করো না। তাহলে তিনি তোমাদেরকে আযাব দ্বারা ধবংস করে দেবেন। যে মিথ্যা উদভাবন করে, সেই বিফল মনোরথ হয়েছে।
Moses said to him: Woe to you! Forge not ye a lie against Allah, lest He destroy you (at once) utterly by chastisement: the forger must suffer frustration!" |
(ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৬১) |

তারা বললঃ এই দুইজন নিশ্চিতই যাদুকর, তারা তাদের যাদু দ্বারা তোমাদেরকে তোমাদের দেশ থেকে বহিস্কার করতে চায় এবং তোমাদের উৎকৃষ্ট জীবন ব্যবস্থা রহিত করতে চায়।
They said: "These two are certainly (expert) magicians: their object is to drive you out from your land with their magic, and to do away with your most cherished institutions. |

আয়াতঃ ৬৩) |

ফেরাউন বললঃ আমার অনুমতি দানের পূর্বেই? তোমরা কি তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করলে; দেখছি সেই তোমাদের প্রধান, সে তোমাদেরকে যাদু শিক্ষা দিয়েছে। অতএব আমি অবশ্যই তোমাদের হস্তপদ বিপরীত দিক থেকে কর্তন করব এবং আমি তোমাদেরকে খর্জুর বৃক্ষের কান্ডে শূলে চড়াব এবং তোমরা নিশ্চিত রূপেই জানতে পারবে আমাদের মধ্যে কার আযাব কঠোরতর এবং অধিক্ষণ স্থায়ী।
(Pharaoh) said: "Believe ye in Him before I give you permission? Surely this must be your leader, who has taught you magic! be sure I will cut off your hands and feet on opposite sides, and I will have you crucified on trunks of palm-trees: so shall ye know for certain, which of us can give the more severe and the more lasting punishment!" |

হে বনী-ইসরাঈল! আমি তোমাদেরকে তোমাদের শক্রুর কবল থেকে উদ্ধার করেছি, তুর পাহাড়ের দক্ষিণ পার্শ্বে তোমাদেরকে প্রতিশ্রুতি দান করেছি এবং তোমাদের কাছে ‘মান্না’ ও ‘সালওয়া’ নাযিল করেছি।
O ye Children of Israel! We delivered you from your enemy, and We made a Covenant with you on the right side of Mount (Sinai), and We sent down to you Manna and quails: |

অতঃপর মূসা তাঁর সম্প্রদায়ের কাছে ফিরে গেলেন ক্রদ্ধ ও অনুতপ্ত অবস্থায়। তিনি বললেনঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, তোমাদের পালনকর্তা কি তোমাদেরকে একটি উত্তম প্রতিশ্রুতি দেননি? তবে কি প্রতিশ্রুতির সময়কাল তোমাদের কাছে দীর্ঘ হয়েছে, না তোমরা চেয়েছ যে, তোমাদের উপর তোমাদের পালনকর্তার ক্রোধ নেমে আসুক, যে কারণে তোমরা আমার সাথে কৃত ওয়াদা ভঙ্গ করলে?
So Moses returned to his people in a state of indignation and sorrow. He said: "O my people! did not your Lord make a handsome promise to you? Did then the promise seem to you long (in coming)? Or did ye desire that Wrath should descend from your Lord on you, and so ye broke your promise to me?" |

আয়াতঃ ৮৬) |

প্রত্যেককে মৃত্যুর স্বাদ আস্বাদন করতে হবে। আমি তোমাদেরকে মন্দ ও ভাল দ্বারা পরীক্ষা করে থাকি এবং আমারই কাছে তোমরা প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে।
Every soul shall have a taste of death: and We test you by evil and by good by way of trial. to Us must ye return. |
(আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫) |
| 164 |
সৃষ্টিগত ভাবে মানুষ ত্বরাপ্রবণ, আমি সত্তরই তোমাদেরকে আমার নিদর্শনাবলী দেখাব। অতএব আমাকে শীঘ্র করতে বলো না।
Man is a creature of haste: soon (enough) will I show you My Signs; then ye will not ask Me to hasten them! |
(আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৩৭) |

বলুনঃ ‘রহমান’ থেকে কে তোমাদেরকে হেফাযত করবে রাত্রে ও দিনে। বরং তারা তাদের পালনকর্তার স্মরণ থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে রাখে।
Say: "Who can keep you safe by night and by day from (the Wrath of) (Allah) Most Gracious?" Yet they turn away from the mention of their Lord. |

আয়াতঃ ৪২) |
| 166 |
বলুনঃ আমি তো কেবল ওহীর মাধ্যমেই তোমাদেরকে সতর্ক করি, কিন্তু বধিরদেরকে যখন সতর্ক করা হয়, তখন তারা সে সতর্কবাণী শোনে না।
Say, "I do but warn you according to revelation": But the deaf will not hear the call, (even) when they are warned! |

আয়াতঃ ৪৫) |

আমি তাঁকে তোমাদের জন্যে বর্ম নির্মান শিক্ষা দিয়েছিলাম, যাতে তা যুদ্ধে তোমাদেরকে রক্ষা করে। অতএব তোমরা কি কৃতজ্ঞ হবে?
It was We Who taught him the making of coats of mail for your benefit, to guard you from each other's violence: will ye then be grateful? |

আয়াতঃ ৮০) |

মহা ত্রাস তাদেরকে চিন্তান্বিত করবে না এবং ফেরেশতারা তাদেরকে অভ্যর্থনা করবেঃ আজ তোমাদের দিন, যে দিনের ওয়াদা তোমাদেরকে দেয়া হয়েছিল।
The Great Terror will bring them no grief: but the angels will meet them (with mutual greetings): "This is your Day,- (the Day) that ye were promised." |

আয়াতঃ ১০৩) |

অতঃপর যদি তারা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তবে বলে দিনঃ আমি তোমাদেরকে পরিস্কার ভাবে সতর্ক করেছি এবং আমি জানি না, তোমাদেরকে যে ওয়াদা দেয়া হয়েছে, তা নিকটবর্তী না দূরবর্তী।
But if they turn back, Say: "I have proclaimed the Message to you all alike and in truth; but I know not whether that which ye are promised is near or far. |

আয়াতঃ ১০৯) |

হে লোকসকল! যদি তোমরা পুনরুত্থানের ব্যাপারে সন্দিগ্ধ হও, তবে (ভেবে দেখ-) আমি তোমাদেরকে মৃত্তিকা থেকে সৃষ্টি করেছি। এরপর বীর্য থেকে, এরপর জমাট রক্ত থেকে, এরপর পূর্ণাকৃতিবিশিষ্ট ও অপূর্ণাকৃতিবিশিষ্ট মাংসপিন্ড থেকে, তোমাদের কাছে ব্যক্ত করার জন্যে। আর আমি এক নির্দিষ্ট কালের জন্যে মাতৃগর্ভে যা ইচ্ছা রেখে দেই, এরপর আমি তোমাদেরকে শিশু অবস্থায় বের করি; তারপর যাতে তোমরা যৌবনে পদার্পণ কর। তোমাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ মৃত্যুমুখে পতিত হয় এবং তোমাদের মধ্যে কাউকে নিষ্কর্মা বয়স পর্যন্ত পৌছানো হয়, যাতে সে জানার পর জ্ঞাত বিষয় সম্পর্কে সজ্ঞান থাকে না। তুমি ভূমিকে পতিত দেখতে পাও, অতঃপর আমি যখন তাতে বৃষ্টি বর্ষণ করি, তখন তা সতেজ ও স্ফীত হয়ে যায় এবং সর্বপ্রকার সুদৃশ্য উদ্ভিদ উৎপন্ন করে।
O mankind! if ye have a doubt about the Resurrection, (consider) that We created you out of dust, then out of sperm, then out of a leech-like clot, then out of a morsel of flesh, partly formed and partly unformed, in order that We may manifest (our power) to you; and We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term, then do We bring you out as babes, then (foster you) that ye may reach your age of full strength; and some of you are called to die, and some are sent back to the feeblest old age, so that they know nothing after having known (much), and (further), thou seest the earth barren and lifeless, but when We pour down rain on it, it is stirred (to life), it swells, and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs). |

তিনিই তোমাদেরকে জীবিত করেছেন, অতঃপর তিনিই তোমাদেরকে মৃত্যুদান করবেন ও পুনরায় জীবিত করবেন। নিশ্চয় মানুষ বড় অকৃতজ্ঞ।
It is He Who gave you life, will cause you to die, and will again give you life: Truly man is a most ungrateful creature! |
(হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৬৬) |

যখন তাদের কাছে আমার সুস্পষ্ট আয়াতসমূহ আবৃত্তি করা হয়, তখন তুমি কাফেরদের চোখে মুখে অসন্তোষের লক্ষণ প্রত্যক্ষ করতে পারবে। যারা তাদের কাছে আমার আয়াত সমূহ পাঠ করে, তারা তাদের প্রতি মার মুখো হয়ে উঠে। বলুন, আমি কি তোমাদেরকে তদপেক্ষা মন্দ কিছুর সংবাদ দেব? তা আগুন; আল্লাহ কাফেরদেরকে এর ওয়াদা দিয়েছেন। এটা কতই না নিকৃষ্ট প্রত্যাবর্তনস্থল।
When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, thou wilt notice a denial on the faces of the Unbelievers! they nearly attack with violence those who rehearse Our Signs to them. Say, "Shall I tell you of something (far) worse than these Signs? It is the Fire (of Hell)! Allah has promised it to the Unbelievers! and evil is that destination!" |

আয়াতঃ ৭২) |

তোমরা আল্লাহর জন্যে শ্রম স্বীকার কর যেভাবে শ্রম স্বীকার করা উচিত। তিনি তোমাদেরকে পছন্দ করেছেন এবং ধর্মের ব্যাপারে তোমাদের উপর কোন সংকীর্ণতা রাখেননি। তোমরা তোমাদের পিতা ইব্রাহীমের ধর্মে কায়েম থাক। তিনিই তোমাদের নাম মুসলমান রেখেছেন পূর্বেও এবং এই কোরআনেও, যাতে রসূল তোমাদের জন্যে সাক্ষ্যদাতা এবং তোমরা সাক্ষ্যদাতা হও মানবমন্ডলির জন্যে। সুতরাং তোমরা নামায কায়েম কর, যাকাত দাও এবং আল্লাহকে শক্তভাবে ধারণ কর। তিনিই তোমাদের মালিক। অতএব তিনি কত উত্তম মালিক এবং কত উত্তম সাহায্যকারী।
And strive in His cause as ye ought to strive, (with sincerity and under discipline). He has chosen you, and has imposed no difficulties on you in religion; it is the cult of your father Abraham. It is He Who has named you Muslims, both before and in this (Revelation); that the Messenger may be a witness for you, and ye be witnesses for mankind! So establish regular Prayer, give regular Charity, and hold fast to Allah! He is your Protector - the Best to protect and the Best to help! |

এবং তোমাদের জন্যে চতুস্পদ জন্তু সমূহের মধ্যে চিন্তা করার বিষয় রয়েছে। আমি তোমাদেরকে তাদের উদরস্থিত বস্তু থেকে পান করাই এবং তোমাদের জন্যে তাদের মধ্যে প্রচুর উপকারিতা আছে। তোমরা তাদের কতককে ভক্ষণ কর।
And in cattle (too) ye have an instructive example: from within their bodies We produce (milk) for you to drink; there are, in them, (besides), numerous (other) benefits for you; and of their (meat) ye eat; |
(আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ২১) |

সে কি তোমাদেরকে এই ওয়াদা দেয় যে, তোমরা মারা গেলে এবং মৃত্তিকা ও অস্থিতে পরিণত হলে তোমাদেরকে পুনরুজ্জীবিত করা হবে?
"Does he promise that when ye die and become dust and bones, ye shall be brought forth (again)? |

আয়াতঃ ৩৫) |

তোমাদেরকে যে ওয়াদা দেয়া হচ্ছে, তা কোথায় হতে পারে?
"Far, very far is that which ye are promised! |
(আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬) |

তোমাদেরকে আমার আয়াতসমূহ শোনানো হত, তখন তোমরা উল্টো পায়ে সরে পড়তে।
"My Signs used to be rehearsed to you, but ye used to turn back on your heels- |
(আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৬৬) |

তিনিই তোমাদেরকে পৃথিবীতে ছড়িয়ে রেখেছেন এবং তারই দিকে তোমাদেরকে সমবেত করা হবে।
And He has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered back. |
(আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৭৯) |

এখন তারা বলবেঃ আল্লাহর। বলুনঃ তাহলে কোথা থেকে তোমাদেরকে জাদু করা হচ্ছে?
They will say, "(It belongs) to Allah." Say: "Then how are ye deluded?" |
(আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৮৯) |

অতঃপর তোমরা তাদেরকে ঠাট্টার পাত্ররূপে গ্রহণ করতে। এমনকি, তা তোমাদেরকে আমার স্মরণ ভুলিয়ে দিয়েছিল এবং তোমরা তাদেরকে দেখে পরিহাস করতে।
"But ye treated them with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while ye were laughing at them! |
(আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ১১০) |

তোমরা কি ধারণা কর যে, আমি তোমাদেরকে অনর্থক সৃষ্টি করেছি এবং তোমরা আমার কাছে ফিরে আসবে না?
"Did ye then think that We had created you in jest, and that ye would not be brought back to Us (for account)?" |
(আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ১১৫) |

যদি ইহকালে ও পরকালে তোমাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ ও দয়া না থাকত, তবে তোমরা যা চর্চা করছিলে, তজ্জন্যে তোমাদেরকে গুরুতর আযাব স্পর্শ করত।
Were it not for the grace and mercy of Allah on you, in this world and the Hereafter, a grievous penalty would have seized you in that ye rushed glibly into this affair. |
(আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ১৪) |

আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে উপদেশ দিচ্ছেন, তোমরা যদি ঈমানদার হও, তবে তখনও পুনরায় এ ধরণের আচরণের পুনরাবৃত্তি করো না।
Allah doth admonish you, that ye may never repeat such (conduct), if ye are (true) Believers. |
(আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ১৭) |

তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা উচ্চমর্যাদা ও আর্থিক প্রাচুর্যের অধিকারী, তারা যেন কসম না খায় যে, তারা আত্নীয়-স্বজনকে, অভাবগ্রস্তকে এবং আল্লাহর পথে হিজরতকারীদেরকে কিছুই দেবে না। তাদের ক্ষমা করা উচিত এবং দোষক্রটি উপেক্ষা করা উচিত। তোমরা কি কামনা কর না যে, আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে ক্ষমা করেন? আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, পরম করুণাময়।
Let not those among you who are endued with grace and amplitude of means resolve by oath against helping their kinsmen, those in want, and those who have left their homes in Allah's cause: let them forgive and overlook, do you not wish that Allah should forgive you? For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. |

যদি তোমরা গৃহে কাউকে না পাও, তবে অনুমতি গ্রহণ না করা পর্যন্ত সেখানে প্রবেশ করো না। যদি তোমাদেরকে বলা হয় ফিরে যাও, তবে ফিরে যাবে। এতে তোমাদের জন্যে অনেক পবিত্রতা আছে এবং তোমরা যা কর, আল্লাহ তা ভালোভাবে জানেন।
If ye find no one in the house, enter not until permission is given to you: if ye are asked to go back, go back: that makes for greater purity for yourselves: and Allah knows well all that ye do. |

যারা বিবাহে সামর্থ নয়, তারা যেন সংযম অবলম্বন করে যে পর্যন্ত না আল্লাহ নিজ অনুগ্রহে তাদেরকে অভাবমুক্ত করে দেন। তোমাদের অধিকারভুক্তদের মধ্যে যারা মুক্তির জন্য লিখিত চুক্তি করতে চায়, তাদের সাথে তোমরা লিখিত চুক্তি কর যদি জান যে, তাদের মধ্যে কল্যাণ আছে। আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে যে, অর্থ-কড়ি দিয়েছেন, তা থেকে তাদেরকে দান কর। তোমাদের দাসীরা নিজেদের পবিত্রতা রক্ষা করতে চাইলে তোমরা পার্থিব জীবনের সম্পদের লালসায় তাদেরকে ব্যভিচারে বাধ্য কারো না। যদি কেহ তাদের উপর জোর-জবরদস্তি করে, তবে তাদের উপর জোর-জবরদস্তির পর আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
Let those who find not the wherewithal for marriage keep themselves chaste, until Allah gives them means out of His grace. And if any of your slaves ask for a deed in writing (to enable them to earn their freedom for a certain sum), give them such a deed if ye know any good in them: yea, give them something yourselves out of the means which Allah has given to you. But force not your maids to prostitution when they desire chastity, in order that ye may make a gain in the goods of this life. But if anyone compels them, yet, after such compulsion, is Allah, Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful (to them), |

সে তার জাদু বলে তোমাদেরকে তোমাদের দেশ থেকে বহিস্কার করতে চায়। অতএব তোমাদের মত কি?
"His plan is to get you out of your land by his sorcery; then what is it ye counsel?" |

ফেরাউন বলল, আমার অনুমতি দানের পূর্বেই তোমরা কি তাকে মেনে নিলে? নিশ্চয় সে তোমাদের প্রধান, যে তোমাদেরকে জাদু শিক্ষা দিয়েছে। শীঘ্রই তোমরা পরিণাম জানতে পারবে। আমি অবশ্যই তোমাদের হাত ও পা বিপরীত দিক থেকে কর্তন করব। এবং তোমাদের সবাইকে শূলে চড়াব।
Said (Pharaoh): "Believe ye in Him before I give you permission? surely he is your leader, who has taught you sorcery! but soon shall ye know! Be sure I will cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will cause you all to die on the cross!" |

"'When we held you as equals with the Lord of the Worlds; |

ভয় কর তাঁকে, যিনি তোমাদেরকে সেসব বস্তু দিয়েছেন, যা তোমরা জান।
"Yea, fear Him Who has bestowed on you freely all that ye know. |

তোমাদেরকে দিয়েছেন চতুষ্পদ জন্তু ও পুত্র-সন্তান,
"Freely has He bestowed on you cattle and sons,- |

তোমাদেরকে কি এ জগতের ভোগ-বিলাসের মধ্যে নিরাপদে রেখে দেয়া হবে?
"Will ye be left secure, in (the enjoyment of) all that ye have here?- |

ভয় কর তাঁকে, যিনি তোমাদেরকে এবং তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তী লোক-সম্প্রদায়কে সৃষ্টি করেছেন।
"And fear Him Who created you and (who created) the generations before (you)" |

যখন তারা পিপীলিকা অধ্যূষিত উপত্যকায় পৌঁছাল, তখন এক পিপীলিকা বলল, হে পিপীলিকার দল, তোমরা তোমাদের গৃহে প্রবেশ কর। অন্যথায় সুলায়মান ও তার বাহিনী অজ্ঞাতসারে তোমাদেরকে পিষ্ট করে ফেলবে।
At length, when they came to a (lowly) valley of ants, one of the ants said: "O ye ants, get into your habitations, lest Solomon and his hosts crush you (under foot) without knowing it." |

অতঃপর যখন দূত সুলায়মানের কাছে আগমন করল, তখন সুলায়মান বললেন, তোমরা কি ধনসম্পদ দ্বারা আমাকে সাহায্য করতে চাও? আল্লাহ আমাকে যা দিয়েছেন, তা তোমাদেরকে প্রদত্ত বস্তু থেকে উত্তম। বরং তোমরাই তোমাদের উপঢৌকন নিয়ে সুখে থাক।
Now when (the embassy) came to Solomon, he said: "Will ye give me abundance in wealth? But that which Allah has given me is better than that which He has given you! Nay it is ye who rejoice in your gift! |

বল তো কে নিঃসহায়ের ডাকে সাড়া দেন যখন সে ডাকে এবং কষ্ট দূরীভূত করেন এবং তোমাদেরকে পৃথিবীতে পুর্ববর্তীদের স্থলাভিষিক্ত করেন। সুতরাং আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য কোন উপাস্য আছে কি? তোমরা অতি সামান্যই ধ্যান কর।
Or, Who listens to the (soul) distressed when it calls on Him, and Who relieves its suffering, and makes you (mankind) inheritors of the earth? (Can there be another) god besides Allah? Little it is that ye heed! |

বল তো কে তোমাদেরকে জলে ও স্থলে অন্ধকারে পথ দেখান এবং যিনি তাঁর অনুগ্রহের পূর্বে সুসংবাদবাহী বাতাস প্রেরণ করেন? অতএব, আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য কোন উপাস্য আছে কি? তারা যাকে শরীক করে, আল্লাহ তা থেকে অনেক ঊর্ধ্বে।
Or, Who guides you through the depths of darkness on land and sea, and Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before His Mercy? (Can there be another) god besides Allah?- High is Allah above what they associate with Him! |

বল তো কে প্রথমবার সৃষ্টি করেন, অতঃপর তাকে পুনরায় সৃষ্টি করবেন এবং কে তোমাদেরকে আকাশ ও মর্ত?2469;েকে রিযিক দান করেন। সুতরাং আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য কোন উপাস্য আছে কি? বলুন, তোমরা যদি সত্যবাদী হও তবে তোমাদের প্রমাণ উপস্থিত কর।
Or, Who originates creation, then repeats it, and who gives you sustenance from heaven and earth? (Can there be another) god besides Allah? Say, "Bring forth your argument, if ye are telling the truth!" |

এবং আরও বলুন, সমস্ত প্রশংসা আল্লাহর। সত্বরই তিনি তাঁর নিদর্শনসমূহ তোমাদেরকে দেখাবেন। তখন তোমরা তা চিনতে পারবে। এবং তোমরা যা কর, সে সম্পর্কে আপনার পালনকর্তা গাফেল নন।
And say: "Praise be to Allah, Who will soon show you His Signs, so that ye shall know them"; and thy Lord is not unmindful of all that ye do. |

পূর্ব থেকেই আমি ধাত্রীদেরকে মূসা থেকে বিরত রেখেছিলাম। মূসার ভগিনী বলল, আমি তোমাদেরকে এমন এক পরিবারের কথা বলব কি, যারা তোমাদের জন্যে একে লালন-পালন করবে এবং তারা হবে তার হিতাকাঙ্ক্ষী?
And we ordained that he refused suck at first, until (His sister came up and) said: "Shall I point out to you the people of a house that will nourish and bring him up for you and be sincerely attached to him?"... |

তোমাদেরকে যা কিছু দেয়া হয়েছে, তা পার্থিব জীবনের ভোগ ও শোভা বৈ নয়। আর আল্লাহর কাছে যা আছে, তা উত্তম ও স্থায়ী। তোমরা কি বোঝ না ?
The (material) things which ye are given are but the conveniences of this life and the glitter thereof; but that which is with Allah is better and more enduring: will ye not then be wise? |

বলুন, ভেবে দেখ তো, আল্লাহ যদি রাত্রিকে কেয়ামতের দিন পর্যন্ত স্থায়ী করেন, তবে আল্লাহ ব্যতীত এমন উপাস্য কে আছে, যে তোমাদেরকে আলোক দান করতে পারে? তোমরা কি তবুও কর্ণꦣ2474;াত করবে না?
Say: See ye? If Allah were to make the night perpetual over you to the Day of Judgment, what god is there other than Allah, who can give you enlightenment? Will ye not then hearken? |

বলুন, ভেবে দেখ তো, আল্লাহ যদি দিনকে কেয়ামতের দিন পর্যন্ত স্থায়ী করেন, তবে আল্লাহ ব্যতীত এমন উপাস্য কে আছে যে, তোমাদেরকে রাত্রি দান করতে পারে, যাতে তোমরা বিশ্রাম করবে ? তোমরা কি তবুও ভেবে দেখবে না ?
Say: See ye? If Allah were to make the day perpetual over you to the Day of Judgment, what god is there other than Allah, who can give you a night in which ye can rest? Will ye not then see? |

আর যারা জ্ঞান প্রাপ্ত হয়েছিল, তার বলল, ধিক তোমাদেরকে, যারা ঈমানদার এবং সৎকর্মী, তাদের জন্যে আল্লাহর দেয়া সওয়াবই উৎকৃষ্ট। এটা তারাই পায়, যারা সবরকারী।
But those who had been granted (true) knowledge said: "Alas for you! The reward of Allah (in the Hereafter) is best for those who believe and work righteousness: but this none shall attain, save those who steadfastly persevere (in good)." |

আমি মানুষকে পিতা-মাতার সাথে সদ্ব্যবহার করার জোর নির্দেশ দিয়েছি। যদি তারা তোমাকে আমার সাথে এমন কিছু শরীক করার জোর প্রচেষ্টা চালায়, যার সম্পর্কে তোমার কোন জ্ঞান নেই, তবে তাদের আনুগত্য করো না। আমারই দিকে তোমাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন। অতঃপর আমি তোমাদেরকে বলে দেব যা কিছু তোমরা করতে।
We have enjoined on man kindness to parents: but if they (either of them) strive (to force) thee to join with Me (in worship) anything of which thou hast no knowledge, obey them not. Ye have (all) to return to me, and I will tell you (the truth) of all that ye did. |

এমন অনেক জন্তু আছে, যারা তাদের খাদ্য সঞ্চিত রাখে না। আল্লাহই রিযিক দেন তাদেরকে এবং তোমাদেরকেও। তিনি সর্বশ্রোতা, সর্বজ্ঞ।
How many are the creatures that carry not their own sustenance? It is Allah who feeds (both) them and you: for He hears and knows (all things). |

তাঁর আরও নিদর্শনঃ তিনি তোমাদেরকে দেখান বিদ্যুৎ, ভয় ও ভরসার জন্যে এবং আকাশ থেকে পানি বর্ষণ করেন, অতঃপর তদ্দ্বারা ভূমির মৃত্যুর পর তাকে পুনরুজ্জীবিত করেন। নিশ্চয় এতে বুদ্ধিমান লোকদের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।
And among His Signs, He shows you the lightning, by way both of fear and of hope, and He sends down rain from the sky and with it gives life to the earth after it is dead: verily in that are Signs for those who are wise. |

তিনি খুঁটি ব্যতীত আকাশমন্ডলী সৃষ্টি করেছেন; তোমরা তা দেখছ। তিনি পৃথিবীতে স্থাপন করেছেন পর্বতমালা, যাতে পৃথিবী তোমাদেরকে নিয়ে ঢলে না পড়ে এবং এতে ছড়িয়ে দিয়েছেন সর্বপ্রকার জন্তু। আমি আকাশ থেকে পানি বর্ষণ করেছি, অতঃপর তাতে উদগত করেছি সর্বপ্রকার কল্যাণকর উদ্ভিদরাজি।
He created the heavens without any pillars that ye can see; He set on the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you; and He scattered through it beasts of all kinds. We send down rain from the sky, and produce on the earth every kind of noble creature, in pairs. |

পিতা-মাতা যদি তোমাকে আমার সাথে এমন বিষয়কে শরীক স্থির করতে পীড়াপীড়ি করে, যার জ্ঞান তোমার নেই; তবে তুমি তাদের কথা মানবে না এবং দুনিয়াতে তাদের সাথে সদ্ভাবে সহঅবস্থান করবে। যে আমার অভিমুখী হয়, তার পথ অনুসরণ করবে। অতঃপর তোমাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন আমারই দিকে এবং তোমরা যা করতে, আমি সে বিষয়ে তোমাদেরকে জ্ঞাত করবো।
"But if they strive to make thee join in worship with Me things of which thou hast no knowledge, obey them not; yet bear them company in this life with justice (and consideration), and follow the way of those who turn to me (in love): in the end the return of you all is to Me, and I will tell you the truth (and meaning) of all that ye did." |

আয়াতঃ ১৫) |

তুমি কি দেখ না যে, আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহে জাহাজ সমুদ্রে চলাচল করে, যাতে তিনি তোমাদেরকে তাঁর নিদর্শনাবলী প্রদর্শন করেন? নিশ্চয় এতে প্রত্যেক সহনশীল, কৃতজ্ঞ ব্যক্তির জন্যে নিদর্শন রয়েছে।
Seest thou not that the ships sail through the ocean by the Grace of Allah?- that He may show you of His Signs? Verily in this are Signs for all who constantly persevere and give thanks. |

আয়াতঃ ৩১) |

হে মানব জাতি! তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তাকে ভয় কর এবং ভয় কর এমন এক দিবসকে, যখন পিতা পুত্রের কোন কাজে আসবে না এবং পুত্রও তার পিতার কোন উপকার করতে পারবে না। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য। অতএব, পার্থিব জীবন যেন তোমাদেরকে ধোঁকা না দেয় এবং আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে প্রতারক শয়তানও যেন তোমাদেরকে প্রতারিত না করে।
O mankind! do your duty to your Lord, and fear (the coming of) a Day when no father can avail aught for his son, nor a son avail aught for his father. Verily, the promise of Allah is true: let not then this present life deceive you, nor let the chief Deceiver deceive you about Allah. |

আয়াতঃ ৩৩) |

অতঃপর তিনি তাকে সুষম করেন, তাতে রূহ সঞ্চার করেন এবং তোমাদেরকে দেন কর্ণ, চক্ষু ও অন্তঃকরণ। তোমরা সামান্যই কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ কর।
But He fashioned him in due proportion, and breathed into him something of His spirit. And He gave you (the faculties of) hearing and sight and feeling (and understanding): little thanks do ye give! |

আয়াতঃ ৯) |

অতএব এ দিবসকে ভূলে যাওয়ার কারণে তোমরা মজা আস্বাদন কর। আমিও তোমাদেরকে ভুলে গেলাম। তোমরা তোমাদের কৃতকর্মের কারণে স্থায়ী আযাব ভোগ কর।
"Taste ye then - for ye forgot the Meeting of this Day of yours, and We too will forget you - taste ye the Penalty of Eternity for your (evil) deeds!" |
(সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৪) |

বলুন! তোমরা যদি মৃত্যু অথবা হত্যা থেকে পলায়ন কর, তবে এ পলায়ন তোমাদের কাজে আসবে না। তখন তোমাদেরকে সামান্যই ভোগ করতে দেয়া হবে।
Say: "Running away will not profit you if ye are running away from death or slaughter; and even if (ye do escape), no more than a brief (respite) will ye be allowed to enjoy!" |
(আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ১৬) |

বলুন! কে তোমাদেরকে আল্লাহ থেকে রক্ষা করবে যদি তিনি তোমাদের অমঙ্গল ইচ্ছা করেন অথবা তোমাদের প্রতি অনুকম্পার ইচ্ছা? তারা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত নিজেদের কোন অভিভাবক ও সাহায্যদাতা পাবে না।
Say: "Who is it that can screen you from Allah if it be His wish to give you punishment or to give you Mercy?" Nor will they find for themselves, besides Allah, any protector or helper. |
(আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ১৭) |

আল্লাহ খুব জানেন তোমাদের মধ্যে কারা তোমাদেরকে বাধা দেয় এবং কারা তাদের ভাইদেরকে বলে, আমাদের কাছে এস। তারা কমই যুদ্ধ করে।
Verily Allah knows those among you who keep back (men) and those who say to their brethren, "Come along to us", but come not to the fight except for just a little while. |
(আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ১৮) |

তিনি তোমাদেরকে তাদের ভূমির, ঘর-বাড়ীর, ধন-সম্পদের এবং এমন এক ভূ-খন্ডের মালিক করে দিয়েছেন, যেখানে তোমরা অভিযান করনি। আল্লাহ সর্ববিষয়োপরি সর্বশক্তিমান।
And He made you heirs of their lands, their houses, and their goods, and of a land which ye had not frequented (before). And Allah has power over all things. |
(আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ২৭) |

তোমরা গৃহাভ্যন্তরে অবস্থান করবে-মূর্খতা যুগের অনুরূপ নিজেদেরকে প্রদর্শন করবে না। নামায কায়েম করবে, যাকাত প্রদান করবে এবং আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের আনুগত্য করবে। হে নবী পরিবারের সদস্যবর্গ। আল্লাহ কেবল চান তোমাদের থেকে অপবিত্রতা দূর করতে এবং তোমাদেরকে পূর্ণরূপে পূত-পবিত্র রাখতে।
And stay quietly in your houses, and make not a dazzling display, like that of the former Times of Ignorance; and establish regular Prayer, and give regular Charity; and obey Allah and His Messenger. And Allah only wishes to remove all abomination from you, ye members of the Family, and to make you pure and spotless. |

তিনিই তোমাদের প্রতি রহমত করেন এবং তাঁর ফেরেশতাগণও রহমতের দোয়া করেন-অন্ধকার থেকে তোমাদেরকে আলোকে বের করার জন্য। তিনি মুমিনদের প্রতি পরম দয়ালু।
He it is Who sends blessings on you, as do His angels, that He may bring you out from the depths of Darkness into Light: and He is Full of Mercy to the Believers. |
(আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ৪৩) |

হে মুমিনগণ! তোমাদেরকে অনুমতি দেয়া না হলে তোমরা খাওয়ার জন্য আহার্য রন্ধনের অপেক্ষা না করে নবীর গৃহে প্রবেশ করো না। তবে তোমরা আহুত হলে প্রবেশ করো, তবে অতঃপর খাওয়া শেষে আপনা আপনি চলে যেয়ো, কথাবার্তায় মশগুল হয়ে যেয়ো না। নিশ্চয় এটা নবীর জন্য কষ্টদায়ক। তিনি তোমাদের কাছে সংকোচ বোধ করেন; কিন্তু আল্লাহ সত্যকথা বলতে সংকোচ করেন না। তোমরা তাঁর পত্নীগণের কাছে কিছু চাইলে পর্দার আড়াল থেকে চাইবে। এটা তোমাদের অন্তরের জন্যে এবং তাঁদের অন্তরের জন্যে অধিকতর পবিত্রতার কারণ। আল্লাহর রাসূলকে কষ্ট দেয়া এবং তাঁর ওফাতের পর তাঁর পত্নীগণকে বিবাহ করা তোমাদের জন্য বৈধ নয়। আল্লাহর কাছে এটা গুরুতর অপরাধ।
O ye who believe! Enter not the Prophet's houses,- until leave is given you,- for a meal, (and then) not (so early as) to wait for its preparation: but when ye are invited, enter; and when ye have taken your meal, disperse, without seeking familiar talk. Such (behaviour) annoys the Prophet: he is ashamed to dismiss you, but Allah is not ashamed (to tell you) the truth. And when ye ask (his ladies) for anything ye want, ask them from before a screen: that makes for greater purity for your hearts and for theirs. Nor is it right for you that ye should annoy Allah's Messenger, or that ye should marry his widows after him at any time. Truly such a thing is in Allah's sight an enormity. |

কাফেররা বলে, আমরা কি তোমাদেরকে এমন ব্যক্তির সন্ধান দেব, যে তোমাদেরকে খবর দেয় যে; তোমরা সম্পুর্ণ ছিন্ন-বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ে গেলেও তোমরা নতুন সৃজিত হবে।
The Unbelievers say (in ridicule): "Shall we point out to you a man that will tell you, when ye are all scattered to pieces in disintegration, that ye shall (then be raised) in a New Creation? |

অহংকারীরা দুর্বলকে বলবে, তোমাদের কাছে হেদায়েত আসার পর আমরা কি তোমাদেরকে বাধা দিয়েছিলাম? বরং তোমরাই তো ছিলে অপরাধী।
The arrogant ones will say to those who had been despised: "Was it we who kept you back from Guidance after it reached you? Nay, rather, it was ye who transgressed. |

তোমাদের ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি তোমাদেরকে আমার নিকটবর্তী করবে না। তবে যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে, তারা তাদের কর্মের বহুগুণ প্রতিদান পাবে এবং তারা সুউচ্চ প্রাসাদে নিরাপদে থাকবে।
It is not your wealth nor your sons, that will bring you nearer to Us in degree: but only those who believe and work righteousness - these are the ones for whom there is a multiplied Reward for their deeds, while secure they (reside) in the dwellings on high! |

যখন তাদের কাছে আমার সুস্পষ্ট আয়াত সমূহ তেলাওয়াত করা হয়, তখন তারা বলে, তোমাদের বাপ-দাদারা যার এবাদত করত এ লোকটি যে তা থেকে তোমাদেরকে বাধা দিতে চায়। তারা আরও বলে, এটা মনগড়া মিথ্যা বৈ নয়। আর কাফেরদের কাছে যখন সত্য আগমন করে, তখন তারা বলে, এতো এক সুস্পষ্ট যাদু।
When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, they say, "This is only a man who wishes to hinder you from the (worship) which your fathers practised." And they say, "This is only a falsehood invented!" and the Unbelievers say of the Truth when it comes to them, "This is nothing but evident magic!" |

বলুন, আমি তোমাদেরকে একটি বিষয়ে উপদেশ দিচ্ছিঃ তোমরা আল্লাহর নামে এক একজন করে ও দু, দু জন করে দাঁড়াও, অতঃপর চিন্তা-ভাবনা কর-তোমাদের সঙ্গীর মধ্যে কোন উম্মাদনা নেই। তিনি তো আসন্ন কাঠোর শাস্তি সম্পর্কে তোমাদেরকে সতর্ক করেন মাত্র।
Say: "I do admonish you on one point: that ye do stand up before Allah,- (It may be) in pairs, or (it may be) singly,- and reflect (within yourselves): your Companion is not possessed: he is no less than a warner to you, in face of a terrible Penalty." |

হে মানুষ, তোমাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ স্মরণ কর। আল্লাহ ব্যতীত এমন কোন স্রষ্টা আছে কি, যে তোমাদেরকে আসমান ও যমীন থেকে রিযিক দান করে? তিনি ব্যতীত কোন উপাস্য নেই। অতএব তোমরা কোথায় ফিরে যাচ্ছ?
O men! Call to mind the grace of Allah unto you! is there a creator, other than Allah, to give you sustenance from heaven or earth? There is no god but He: how then are ye deluded away from the Truth? |

হে মানুষ, নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য। সুতরাং, পার্থিব জীবন যেন তোমাদেরকে প্রতারণা না করে। এবং সেই প্রবঞ্চক যেন কিছুতেই তোমাদেরকে আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে প্রবঞ্চিত না করে।
O men! Certainly the promise of Allah is true. Let not then this present life deceive you, nor let the Chief Deceiver deceive you about Allah. |

আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন মাটি থেকে, অতঃপর বীর্য থেকে, তারপর করেছেন তোমাদেরকে যুগল। কোন নারী গর্ভধারণ করে না এবং সন্তান প্রসব করে না; কিন্তু তাঁর জ্ঞাতসারে। কোন বয়স্ক ব্যক্তি বয়স পায় না। এবং তার বয়স হ্রাস পায় না; কিন্তু তা লিখিত আছে কিতাবে। নিশ্চয় এটা আল্লাহর পক্ষে সহজ।
And Allah did create you from dust; then from a sperm-drop; then He made you in pairs. And no female conceives, or lays down (her load), but with His knowledge. Nor is a man long-lived granted length of days, nor is a part cut off from his life, but is in a Decree (ordained). All this is easy to Allah. |

তিনি ইচ্ছা করলে তোমাদেরকে বিলুপ্ত করে এক নতুন সৃষ্টির উদ্ভব করবেন।
If He so pleased, He could blot you out and bring in a New Creation. |

সেখানে তারা আর্ত চিৎকার করে বলবে, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, বের করুন আমাদেরকে, আমরা সৎকাজ করব, পূর্বে যা করতাম, তা করব না। (আল্লাহ বলবেন) আমি কি তোমাদেরকে এতটা বয়স দেইনি, যাতে যা চিন্তা করার বিষয় চিন্তা করতে পারতে? উপরন্তু তোমাদের কাছে সতর্ককারীও আগমন করেছিল। অতএব আস্বাদন কর। জালেমদের জন্যে কোন সাহায্যকারী নেই।
Therein will they cry aloud (for assistance): "Our Lord! Bring us out: we shall work righteousness, not the (deeds) we used to do!" - "Did We not give you long enough life so that he that would should receive admonition? and (moreover) the warner came to you. So taste ye (the fruits of your deeds): for the wrong-doers there is no helper." |

তিনিই তোমাদেরকে পৃথিবীতে স্বীয় প্রতিনিধি করেছেন। অতএব যে কুফরী করবে তার কুফরী তার উপরই বর্তাবে। কাফেরদের কুফর কেবল তাদের পালনকর্তার ক্রোধই বৃদ্ধি করে এবং কাফেরদের কুফর কেবল তাদের ক্ষতিই বৃদ্ধি করে।
He it is That has made you inheritors in the earth: if, then, any do reject (Allah), their rejection (works) against themselves: their rejection but adds to the odium for the Unbelievers in the sight of their Lord: their rejection but adds to (their own) undoing. |
(ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ৩৯) |

তারা বলল, আমরা তোমাদেরকে অশুভ-অকল্যাণকর দেখছি। যদি তোমরা বিরত না হও, তবে অবশ্যই তোমাদেরকে প্রস্তর বর্ষণে হত্যা করব এবং আমাদের পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদেরকে যন্ত্রনাদায়ক শাস্তি স্পর্শ করবে।
The (people) said: "for us, we augur an evil omen from you: if ye desist not, we will certainly stone you. And a grievous punishment indeed will be inflicted on you by us." |
(ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ১৮) |

রসূলগণ বলল, তোমাদের অকল্যাণ তোমাদের সাথেই! এটা কি এজন্যে যে, আমরা তোমাদেরকে সদুপদেশ দিয়েছি? বস্তুতঃ তোমরা সীমা লংঘনকারী সম্প্রদায় বৈ নও।
They said: "Your evil omens are with yourselves: (deem ye this an evil omen). If ye are admonished? Nay, but ye are a people transgressing all bounds!" |
(ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ১৯) |

যখন তাদেরকে বলা হয়, আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে যা দিয়েছেন, তা থেকে ব্যয় কর। তখন কাফেররা মুমিনগণকে বলে, ইচ্ছা করলেই আল্লাহ যাকে খাওয়াতে পারতেন, আমরা তাকে কেন খাওয়াব? তোমরা তো স্পষ্ট বিভ্রান্তিতে পতিত রয়েছ।
And when they are told, "Spend ye of (the bounties) with which Allah has provided you," the Unbelievers say to those who believe: "Shall we then feed those whom, if Allah had so willed, He would have fed, (Himself)?- Ye are in nothing but manifest error." |
(ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ৪৭) |

হে বনী-আদম! আমি কি তোমাদেরকে বলে রাখিনি যে, শয়তানের এবাদত করো না, সে তোমাদের প্রকাশ্য শত্রু?
"Did I not enjoin on you, O ye Children of Adam, that ye should not worship Satan; for that he was to you an enemy avowed?- |
(ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ৬০) |

এই সে জাহান্নাম, যার ওয়াদা তোমাদেরকে দেয়া হতো।
"This is the Hell of which ye were (repeatedly) warned! |
(ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ৬৩) |

আমরা তোমাদেরকে পথভ্রষ্ট করেছিলাম। কারণ আমরা নিজেরাই পথভ্রষ্ট ছিলাম।
"We led you astray: for truly we were ourselves astray." |

অথচ আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে এবং তোমরা যা নির্মাণ করছ সবাইকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন।
"But Allah has created you and your handwork!" |

তোমাদেরকে এরই প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয়া হচ্ছে বিচার দিবসের জন্যে।
Such is the Promise made, to you for the Day of Account! |

তিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন তোমাদেরকে একই ব্যক্তি থেকে। অতঃপর তা থেকে তার যুগল সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং তিনি তোমাদের জন্যে আট প্রকার চতুষ্পদ জন্তু অবতীর্ণ করেছেন। তিনি তোমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন তোমাদের মাতৃগর্ভে পর্যায়ক্রমে একের পর এক ত্রিবিধ অন্ধকারে। তিনি আল্লাহ তোমাদের পালনকর্তা, সাম্রাজ্য তাঁরই। তিনি ব্যতীত কোন উপাস্য নেই। অতএব, তোমরা কোথায় বিভ্রান্ত হচ্ছ?
He created you (all) from a single person: then created, of like nature, his mate; and he sent down for you eight head of cattle in pairs: He makes you, in the wombs of your mothers, in stages, one after another, in three veils of darkness. such is Allah, your Lord and Cherisher: to Him belongs (all) dominion. There is no god but He: then how are ye turned away (from your true Centre)? |

আয়াতঃ ৬) |

যদি তোমরা অস্বীকার কর, তবে আল্লাহ তোমাদের থেকে বেপরওয়া। তিনি তাঁর বান্দাদের কাফের হয়ে পড়া পছন্দ করেন না। পক্ষান্তরে যদি তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞ হও, তবে তিনি তোমাদের জন্যে তা পছন্দ করেন। একের পাপ ভার অন্যে বহন করবে না। অতঃপর তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার কাছে ফিরে যাবে। তিনি তোমাদেরকে তোমাদের কর্ম সম্বন্ধে অবহিত করবেন। নিশ্চয় তিনি অন্তরের বিষয় সম্পর্কেও অবগত।
If ye reject (Allah), Truly Allah hath no need of you; but He liketh not ingratitude from His servants: if ye are grateful, He is pleased with you. No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another. In the end, to your Lord is your Return, when He will tell you the truth of all that ye did (in this life). for He knoweth well all that is in (men's) hearts. |
(আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৭) |

যারা কাফের তাদেরকে উচ্চঃস্বরে বলা হবে, তোমাদের নিজেদের প্রতি তোমাদের আজকের এ ক্ষোভ অপেক্ষা আল্লার ক্ষোভ অধিক ছিল, যখন তোমাদেরকে ঈমান আনতে বলা হয়েছিল, অতঃপর তোমরা কুফরী করছিল।
The Unbelievers will be addressed: "Greater was the aversion of Allah to you than (is) your aversion to yourselves, seeing that ye were called to the Faith and ye used to refuse." |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ১০) |

তিনিই তোমাদেরকে তাঁর নিদর্শনাবলী দেখান এবং তোমাদের জন্যে আকাশ থেকে নাযিল করেন রুযী। চিন্তা-ভাবনা তারাই করে, যারা আল্লাহর দিকে রুজু থাকে।
He it is Who showeth you his Signs, and sendeth down sustenance for you from the sky: but only those receive admonition who turn (to Allah). |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ১৩) |

হে আমার কওম, আজ এদেশে তোমাদেরই রাজত্ব, দেশময় তোমরাই বিচরণ করছ; কিন্তু আমাদের আল্লাহর শাস্তি এসে গেলে কে আমাদেরকে সাহায্য করবে? ফেরাউন বলল, আমি যা বুঝি, তোমাদেরকে তাই বোঝাই, আর আমি তোমাদেরকে মঙ্গলের পথই দেখাই।
"O my People! Yours is the dominion this day: Ye have the upper hand in the land: but who will help us from the Punishment of Allah, should it befall us?" Pharaoh said: "I but point out to you that which I see (myself); Nor do I guide you but to the Path of Right!" |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ২৯) |

যেদিন তোমরা পেছনে ফিরে পলায়ন করবে; কিন্তু আল্লাহ থেকে তোমাদেরকে রক্ষাকারী কেউ থাকবে না। আল্লাহ যাকে পথভ্রষ্ট করেন, তার কোন পথপ্রদর্শক নেই।
"A Day when ye shall turn your backs and flee: No defender shall ye have from Allah: Any whom Allah leaves to stray, there is none to guide... |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩) |

মুমিন লোকটি বললঃ হে আমার কওম, তোমরা আমার অনুসরণ কর। আমি তোমাদেরকে সৎপথ প্রদর্শন করব।
The man who believed said further: "O my people! Follow me: I will lead you to the Path of Right. |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৩৮) |

হে আমার কওম, ব্যাপার কি, আমি তোমাদেরকে দাওয়াত দেই মুক্তির দিকে, আর তোমরা আমাকে দাওয়াত দাও জাহান্নামের দিকে।
"And O my people! How (strange) it is for me to call you to Salvation while ye call me to the Fire! |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৪১) |

তোমরা আমাকে দাওয়াত দাও, যাতে আমি আল্লাহকে অস্বীকার করি এবং তাঁর সাথে শরীক করি এমন বস্তুকে, যার কোন প্রমাণ আমার কাছে নেই। আমি তোমাদেরকে দাওয়াত দেই পরাক্রমশালী, ক্ষমাশীল আল্লাহর দিকে।
"Ye do call upon me to blaspheme against Allah, and to join with Him partners of whom I have no knowledge; and I call you to the Exalted in Power, Who forgives again and again!" |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৪২) |

আমি তোমাদেরকে যা বলছি, তোমরা একদিন তা স্মরণ করবে। আমি আমার ব্যাপার আল্লাহর কাছে সমর্পণ করছি। নিশ্চয় বান্দারা আল্লাহর দৃষ্টিতে রয়েছে।
"Soon will ye remember what I say to you (now), My (own) affair I commit to Allah: for Allah (ever) watches over His Servants." |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪) |

আল্লাহ, পৃথিবীকে করেছেন তোমাদের জন্যে বাসস্থান, আকাশকে করেছেন ছাদ এবং তিনি তোমাদেরকে আকৃতি দান করেছেন, অতঃপর তোমাদের আকৃতি সুন্দর করেছেন এবং তিনি তোমাদেরকে দান করেছেন পরিচ্ছন্ন রিযিক। তিনি আল্লাহ, তোমাদের পালনকর্তা। বিশ্বজগতের পালনকর্তা, আল্লাহ বরকতময়।
It is Allah Who has made for you the earth as a resting place, and the sky as a canopy, and has given you shape- and made your shapes beautiful,- and has provided for you Sustenance, of things pure and good;- such is Allah your Lord. So Glory to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds! |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৬৪) |

তিনি তো তোমাদের সৃষ্টি করেছেন মাটির দ্বারা, অতঃপর শুক্রবিন্দু দ্বারা, অতঃপর জমাট রক্ত দ্বারা, অতঃপর তোমাদেরকে বের করেন শিশুরূপে, অতঃপর তোমরা যৌবনে পদর্পণ কর, অতঃপর বার্ধক্যে উপনীত হও। তোমাদের কারও কারও এর পূর্বেই মৃত্যু ঘটে এবং তোমরা নির্ধারিত কালে পৌঁছ এবং তোমরা যাতে অনুধাবন কর।
It is He Who has created you from dust then from a sperm-drop, then from a leech-like clot; then does he get you out (into the light) as a child: then lets you (grow and) reach your age of full strength; then lets you become old,- though of you there are some who die before;- and lets you reach a Term appointed; in order that ye may learn wisdom. |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৬৭) |

তিনি তোমাদেরকে তাঁর নিদর্শনাবলী দেখান। অতএব, তোমরা আল্লাহর কোন কোন নিদর্শনকে অস্বীকার করবে?
And He shows you (always) His Signs: then which of the Signs of Allah will ye deny? |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৮১) |

অতঃপর যদি তারা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তবে বলুন, আমি তোমাদেরকে সতর্ক করলাম এক কঠোর আযাব সম্পর্কে আদ ও সামুদের আযাবের মত।
But if they turn away, say thou: "I have warned you of a stunning Punishment (as of thunder and lightning) like that which (overtook) the 'Ad and the Thamud!" |
(হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৩) |

তারা তাদের ত্বককে বলবে, তোমরা আমাদের বিপক্ষে সাক্ষ্য দিলে কেন? তারা বলবে, যে আল্লাহ সব কিছুকে বাকশক্তি দিয়েছেন, তিনি আমাদেরকেও বাকশক্তি দিয়েছেন। তিনিই তোমাদেরকে প্রথমবার সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং তোমরা তাঁরই দিকে প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে।
They will say to their skins: "Why bear ye witness against us?" They will say: "Allah hath given us speech,- (He) Who giveth speech to everything: He created you for the first time, and unto Him were ye to return. |
(হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২১) |

তোমাদের পালনকর্তা সম্বন্ধে তোমাদের এ ধারণাই তোমাদেরকে ধ্বংস করেছে। ফলে তোমরা ক্ষতিগ্রস্তদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে গেছ।
"But this thought of yours which ye did entertain concerning your Lord, hath brought you to destruction, and (now) have ye become of those utterly lost!" |
(হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৩) |

অতএব, তোমাদেরকে যা দেয়া হয়েছে তা পার্থিব জীবনের ভোগ মাত্র। আর আল্লাহর কাছে যা রয়েছে, তা উৎকৃষ্ট ও স্থায়ী তাদের জন্যে যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও তাদের পালনকর্তার উপর ভরসা করে।
Whatever ye are given (here) is (but) a convenience of this life: but that which is with Allah is better and more lasting: (it is) for those who believe and put their trust in their Lord: |
(আশ-শুরা:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬) |

শয়তান যেন তোমাদেরকে নিবৃত্ত না করে। সে তোমাদের প্রকাশ্য শুত্রু।
Let not the Evil One hinder you: for he is to you an enemy avowed. |
(যুখরুফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬২) |

আপনি বলুন, আল্লাহই তোমাদেরকে জীবন দান করেন, অতঃপর মৃত্যু দেন, অতঃপর তোমাদেরকে কেয়ামতের দিন একত্রিত করবেন, যাতে কোন সন্দেহ নেই। কিন্তু অধিকাংশ মানুষ বোঝে না।
Say: "It is Allah Who gives you life, then gives you death; then He will gather you together for the Day of Judgment about which there is no doubt": But most men do not understand. |
(আল জাসিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ২৬) |

বলা হবে, আজ আমি তোমাদেরকে ভুলে যাব, যেমন তোমরা এ দিনের সাক্ষাৎকে ভুলে গিয়েছিলে। তোমাদের আবাসস্থল জাহান্নাম এবং তোমাদের সাহায্যকারী নেই।
It will also be said: "This Day We will forget you as ye forgot the meeting of this Day of yours! and your abode is the Fire, and no helpers have ye! |
(আল জাসিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৩৪) |

এটা এজন্যে যে, তোমরা আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহকে ঠাট্টারূপে গ্রহণ করেছিলে এবং পার্থিব জীবন তোমাদেরকে প্রতারিত করেছিল। সুতরাং আজ তাদেরকে জাহান্নাম থেকে বের করা হবে না এবং তাদের কাছে তওবা চাওয়া হবে না।
"This, because ye used to take the Signs of Allah in jest, and the life of the world deceived you:" (From) that Day, therefore, they shall not be taken out thence, nor shall they be received into Grace. |
(আল জাসিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫) |

আর যে ব্যক্তি তার পিতা-মাতাকে বলে, ধিক তোমাদেরকে, তোমরা কি আমাকে খবর দাও যে, আমি পুনরুত্থিত হব, অথচ আমার পূর্বে বহু লোক গত হয়ে গেছে? আর পিতা-মাতা আল্লাহর কাছে ফরিযাদ করে বলে, দুর্ভোগ তোমার তুমি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন কর। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য। তখন সে বলে, এটা তো পূর্ববর্তীদের উপকথা বৈ নয়।
But (there is one) who says to his parents, "Fie on you! Do ye hold out the promise to me that I shall be raised up, even though generations have passed before me (without rising again)?" And they two seek Allah's aid, (and rebuke the son): "Woe to thee! Have faith! for the promise of Allah is true." But he says, "This is nothing but tales of the ancients!" |
(আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৭) |

যেদিন কাফেরদেরকে জাহান্নামের কাছে উপস্থিত করা হবে সেদিন বলা হবে, তোমরা তোমাদের সুখ পার্থিব জীবনেই নিঃশেষ করেছ এবং সেগুলো ভোগ করেছ সুতরাং আজ তোমাদেরকে অপমানকর আযাবের শাস্তি দেয়া হবে; কারণ, তোমরা পৃথিবীতে অন্যায় ভাবে অহংকার করতে এবং তোমরা পাপাচার করতে।
And on the Day that the Unbelievers will be placed before the Fire, (It will be said to them): "Ye received your good things in the life of the world, and ye took your pleasure out of them: but today shall ye be recompensed with a Penalty of humiliation: for that ye were arrogant on earth without just cause, and that ye (ever) transgressed." |

আমি তাদেরকে এমন বিষয়ে ক্ষমতা দিয়েছিলাম, যে বিষয়ে তোমাদেরকে ক্ষমতা দেইনি। আমি তাদের দিয়েছিলাম, কর্ণ, চক্ষু ও হৃদয়, কিন্তু তাদের কর্ণ, চক্ষু ও হৃদয় তাদের কোন কাজে আসল না, যখন তারা আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহকে অস্বীকার করল এবং তাদেরকে সেই শাস্তি গ্রাস করে নিল, যা নিয়ে তারা ঠাট্টা বিদ্রুপ করত।
And We had firmly established them in a (prosperity and) power which We have not given to you (ye Quraish!) and We had endowed them with (faculties of) hearing, seeing, heart and intellect: but of no profit to them were their (faculties of) hearing, sight, and heart and intellect, when they went on rejecting the Signs of Allah; and they were (completely) encircled by that which they used to mock at! |

আয়াতঃ ২৬) |

হে বিশ্বাসীগণ! যদি তোমরা আল্লাহকে সাহায্য কর, আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে সাহায্য করবেন এবং তোমাদের পা দৃঢ়প্রতিষ্ঠ করবেন।
O ye who believe! If ye will aid (the cause of) Allah, He will aid you, and plant your feet firmly. |

আমি অবশ্যই তোমাদেরকে পরীক্ষা করব যে পর্যন্ত না ফুটিয়ে তুলি তোমাদের জেহাদকারীদেরকে এবং সবরকারীদেরকে এবং যতক্ষণ না আমি তোমাদের অবস্থান সমূহ যাচাই করি।
And We shall try you until We test those among you who strive their utmost and persevere in patience; and We shall try your reported (mettle). |

পার্থিব জীবন তো কেবল খেলাধুলা, যদি তোমরা বিশ্বাসী হও এবং সংযম অবলম্বন কর, আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে তোমাদের প্রতিদান দেবেন এবং তিনি তোমাদের ধন-সম্পদ চাইবেন না।
The life of this world is but play and amusement: and if ye believe and guard against Evil, He will grant you your recompense, and will not ask you (to give up) your possessions. |

তিনি তোমাদের কাছে ধন-সম্পদ চাইলে অতঃপর তোমাদেরকে অতিষ্ঠ করলে তোমরা কার্পণ্য করবে এবং তিনি তোমাদের মনের সংকীর্ণতা প্রকাশ করে দেবেন।
If He were to ask you for all of them, and press you, ye would covetously withhold, and He would bring out all your ill-feeling. |

গৃহে অবস্থানকারী মরুবাসীদেরকে বলে দিনঃ আগামীতে তোমরা এক প্রবল পরাক্রান্ত জাতির সাথে যুদ্ধ করতে আহুত হবে। তোমরা তাদের সাথে যুদ্ধ করবে, যতক্ষণ না তারা মুসলমান হয়ে যায়। তখন যদি তোমরা নির্দেশ পালন কর, তবে আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে উত্তম পুরস্কার দিবেন। আর যদি পৃষ্ঠপ্রদর্শন কর যেমন ইতিপূর্বে পৃষ্ঠপ্রদর্শন করেছ, তবে তিনি তোমাদেরকে যন্ত্রনাদায়ক শাস্তি দিবেন।
Say to the desert Arabs who lagged behind: "Ye shall be summoned (to fight) against a people given to vehement war: then shall ye fight, or they shall submit. Then if ye show obedience, Allah will grant you a goodly reward, but if ye turn back as ye did before, He will punish you with a grievous Penalty." |

আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে বিপুল পরিমাণ যুদ্ধলব্ধ সম্পদের ওয়াদা দিয়েছেন, যা তোমরা লাভ করবে। তিনি তা তোমাদের জন্যে ত্বরান্বিত করবেন। তিনি তোমাদের থেকে শত্রুদের স্তব্দ করে দিয়েছেন-যাতে এটা মুমিনদের জন্যে এক নিদর্শন হয় এবং তোমাদেরকে সরল পথে পরিচালিত করেন।
Allah has promised you many gains that ye shall acquire, and He has given you these beforehand; and He has restrained the hands of men from you; that it may be a Sign for the Believers, and that He may guide you to a Straight Path; |

তিনি মক্কা শহরে তাদের হাত তোমাদের থেকে এবং তোমাদের হাত তাদের থেকে নিবারিত করেছেন তাদের উপর তোমাদেরকে বিজয়ী করার পর। তোমরা যা কিছু কর, আল্লাহ তা দেখেন।
And it is He Who has restrained their hands from you and your hands from them in the midst of Makka, after that He gave you the victory over them. And Allah sees well all that ye do. |

আয়াতঃ ২৪) |

তারাই তো কুফরী করেছে এবং বাধা দিয়েছে তোমাদেরকে মসজিদে হারাম থেকে এবং অবস্থানরত কোরবানীর জন্তুদেরকে যথাস্থানে পৌছতে। যদি মক্কায় কিছুসংখ্যক ঈমানদার পুরুষ ও ঈমানদার নারী না থাকত, যাদেরকে তোমরা জানতে না। অর্থাৎ তাদের পিষ্ট হয়ে যাওয়ার আশংকা না থাকত, অতঃপর তাদের কারণে তোমরা অজ্ঞাতসারে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হতে, তবে সব কিছু চুকিয়ে দেয়া হত; কিন্তু এ কারণে চুকানো হয়নি, যাতে আল্লাহ তা’আলা যাকে ইচ্ছা স্বীয় রহমতে দাখিল করে নেন। যদি তারা সরে যেত, তবে আমি অবশ্যই তাদের মধ্যে যারা কাফের তাদেরকে যন্ত্রনাদায়ক শস্তি দিতাম।
They are the ones who denied Revelation and hindered you from the Sacred Mosque and the sacrificial animals, detained from reaching their place of sacrifice. Had there not been believing men and believing women whom ye did not know that ye were trampling down and on whose account a crime would have accrued to you without (your) knowledge, (Allah would have allowed you to force your way, but He held back your hands) that He may admit to His Mercy whom He will. If they had been apart, We should certainly have punished the Unbelievers among them with a grievous Punishment. |

আয়াতঃ ২৫) |

আল্লাহ তাঁর রসূলকে সত্য স্বপ্ন দেখিয়েছেন। আল্লাহ চাহেন তো তোমরা অবশ্যই মসজিদে হারামে প্রবেশ করবে নিরাপদে মস্তকমুন্ডিত অবস্থায় এবং কেশ কর্তিত অবস্থায়। তোমরা কাউকে ভয় করবে না। অতঃপর তিনি জানেন যা তোমরা জান না। এছাড়াও তিনি দিয়েছেন তোমাদেরকে একটি আসন্ন বিজয়।
Truly did Allah fulfil the vision for His Messenger: ye shall enter the Sacred Mosque, if Allah wills, with minds secure, heads shaved, hair cut short, and without fear. For He knew what ye knew not, and He granted, besides this, a speedy victory. |

আয়াতঃ ২৭) |

হে মানব, আমি তোমাদেরকে এক পুরুষ ও এক নারী থেকে সৃষ্টি করেছি এবং তোমাদেরকে বিভিন্ন জাতি ও গোত্রে বিভক্ত করেছি, যাতে তোমরা পরস্পরে পরিচিতি হও। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর কাছে সে-ই সর্বাধিক সম্ভ্রান্ত যে সর্বাধিক পরহেযগার। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সর্বজ্ঞ, সবকিছুর খবর রাখেন।
O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things). |

আয়াতঃ ১৩) |

তারা মুসলমান হয়ে আপনাকে ধন্য করেছে মনে করে। বলুন, তোমরা মুসলমান হয়ে আমাকে ধন্য করেছ মনে করো না। বরং আল্লাহ ঈমানের পথে পরিচালিত করে তোমাদেরকে ধন্য করেছেন, যদি তোমরা সত্যনিষ্ঠ হয়ে থাক।
They impress on thee as a favour that they have embraced Islam. Say, "Count not your Islam as a favour upon me: Nay, Allah has conferred a favour upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if ye be true and sincere. |

আয়াতঃ ১৭) |

আল্লাহ বলবেনঃ আমার সামনে বাকবিতন্ডা করো না আমি তো পূর্বেই তোমাদেরকে আযাব দ্বারা ভয় প্রদর্শন করেছিলাম।
He will say: "Dispute not with each other in My Presence: I had already in advance sent you Warning. |

সেদিন তোমাদেরকে জাহান্নামের অগ্নির দিকে ধাক্কা মেরে মেরে নিয়ে যাওয়া হবে।
That Day shall they be thrust down to the Fire of Hell, irresistibly. |
(আত্ব তূর:
আয়াতঃ ১৩) |

এতে প্রবেশ কর অতঃপর তোমরা সবর কর অথবা না কর, উভয়ই তোমাদের জন্য সমান। তোমরা যা করতে তোমাদেরকে কেবল তারই প্রতিফল দেয়া হবে।
"Burn ye therein: the same is it to you whether ye bear it with patience, or not: Ye but receive the recompense of your (own) deeds." |
(আত্ব তূর:
আয়াতঃ ১৬) |

যারা বড় বড় গোনাহ ও অশ্লীলকার্য থেকে বেঁচে থাকে ছোটখাট অপরাধ করলেও নিশ্চয় আপনার পালনকর্তার ক্ষমা সুদূর বিস্তৃত। তিনি তোমাদের সম্পর্কে ভাল জানেন, যখন তিনি তোমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন মৃত্তিকা থেকে এবং যখন তোমরা মাতৃগর্ভে কচি শিশু ছিলে। অতএব তোমরা আত্নপ্রশংসা করো না। তিনি ভাল জানেন কে সংযমী।
Those who avoid great sins and shameful deeds, only (falling into) small faults,- verily thy Lord is ample in forgiveness. He knows you well when He brings you out of the earth, And when ye are hidden in your mothers' wombs. Therefore justify not yourselves: He knows best who it is that guards against evil. |
(আন-নাজম:
আয়াতঃ ৩২) |

আমি সৃষ্টি করেছি তোমাদেরকে। অতঃপর কেন তোমরা তা সত্য বলে বিশ্বাস কর না।
It is We Who have created you: why will ye not witness the Truth? |
(আল ওয়াক্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৫৭) |

এ ব্যাপারে যে, তোমাদের পরিবর্তে তোমাদের মত লোককে নিয়ে আসি এবং তোমাদেরকে এমন করে দেই, যা তোমরা জান না।
from changing your Forms and creating you (again) in (forms) that ye know not. |
(আল ওয়াক্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৬১) |

তোমরা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন কর এবং তিনি তোমাদেরকে যার উত্তরাধিকারী করেছেন, তা থেকে ব্যয় কর। অতএব, তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও ব্যয় করে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে মহাপুরস্কার।
Believe in Allah and His messenger, and spend (in charity) out of the (substance) whereof He has made you heirs. For, those of you who believe and spend (in charity),- for them is a great Reward. |
(আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ৭) |

তোমাদের কি হল যে, তোমরা আল্লাহর প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করছ না, অথচ রসূল তোমাদেরকে তোমাদের পালনকর্তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করার দাওয়াত দিচ্ছেন? আল্লাহ তো পূর্বেই তোমাদের অঙ্গীকার নিয়েছেন-যদি তোমরা বিশ্বাসী হও।
What cause have ye why ye should not believe in Allah?- and the Messenger invites you to believe in your Lord, and has indeed taken your Covenant, if ye are men of Faith. |

আয়াতঃ ৮) |

তিনিই তাঁর দাসের প্রতি প্রকাশ্য আয়াত অবতীর্ণ করেন, যাতে তোমাদেরকে অন্ধকার থেকে আলোকে আনয়ন করেন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তোমাদের প্রতি করুণাময়, পরম দয়ালু।
He is the One Who sends to His Servant Manifest Signs, that He may lead you from the depths of Darkness into the Light and verily Allah is to you most kind and Merciful. |

আয়াতঃ ৯) |
| 285 |
তোমাদেরকে আল্লাহর পথে ব্যয় করতে কিসে বাধা দেয়, যখন আল্লাহই নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের উত্তরাধিকারী? তোমাদের মধ্যে যে মক্কা বিজয়ের পূর্বে ব্যয় করেছে ও জেহাদ করেছে, সে সমান নয়। এরূপ লোকদের মর্যদা বড় তাদের অপেক্ষা, যার পরে ব্যয় করেছে ও জেহাদ করেছে। তবে আল্লাহ উভয়কে কল্যাণের ওয়াদা দিয়েছেন। তোমরা যা কর, আল্লাহ সে সম্পর্কে সম্যক জ্ঞাত।
And what cause have ye why ye should not spend in the cause of Allah?- For to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. Not equal among you are those who spent (freely) and fought, before the Victory, (with those who did so later). Those are higher in rank than those who spent (freely) and fought afterwards. But to all has Allah promised a goodly (reward). And Allah is well acquainted with all that ye do. |
(আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ১০) |
| 286 |
তারা মুমিনদেরকে ডেকে বলবেঃ আমরা কি তোমাদের সাথে ছিলাম না? তারা বলবেঃ হঁ্যা কিন্তু তোমরা নিজেরাই নিজেদেরকে বিপদগ্রস্ত করেছ। প্রতীক্ষা করেছ, সন্দেহ পোষণ করেছ এবং অলীক আশার পেছনে বিভ্রান্ত হয়েছ, অবশেষে আল্লাহর আদেশ পৌঁছেছে। এই সবই তোমাদেরকে আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে প্রতারিত করেছে।
(Those without) will call out, "Were we not with you?" (The others) will reply, "True! but ye led yourselves into temptation; ye looked forward (to our ruin); ye doubted (Allah's Promise); and (your false) desires deceived you; until there issued the Command of Allah. And the Deceiver deceived you in respect of Allah. |
(আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ১৪) |

এটা এজন্যে বলা হয়, যাতে তোমরা যা হারাও তজ্জন্যে দুঃখিত না হও এবং তিনি তোমাদেরকে যা দিয়েছেন, তজ্জন্যে উল্লসিত না হও। আল্লাহ কোন উদ্ধত অহংকারীকে পছন্দ করেন না,
In order that ye may not despair over matters that pass you by, nor exult over favours bestowed upon you. For Allah loveth not any vainglorious boaster,- |
(আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ২৩) |
| 288 |
মুমিনগণ, তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং তাঁর রসূলের প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন কর। তিনি নিজে অনুগ্রহের দ্বিগুণ অংশ তোমাদেরকে দিবেন, তোমাদেরকে দিবেন জ্যোতি, যার সাহায্যে তোমরা চলবে এবং তোমাদেরকে ক্ষমা করবেন। আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, দয়াময়।
O ye that believe! Fear Allah, and believe in His Messenger, and He will bestow on you a double portion of His Mercy: He will provide for you a Light by which ye shall walk (straight in your path), and He will forgive you (your past): for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. |
(আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ২৮) |

মুমিনগণ, যখন তোমাদেরকে বলা হয়ঃ মজলিসে স্থান প্রশস্ত করে দাও, তখন তোমরা স্থান প্রশস্ত করে দিও। আল্লাহর জন্যে তোমাদের জন্য প্রশস্ত করে দিবেন। যখন বলা হয়ঃ উঠে যাও, তখন উঠে যেয়ো। তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা ঈমানদার এবং যারা জ্ঞানপ্রাপ্ত, আল্লাহ তাদের মর্যাদা উচ্চ করে দিবেন। আল্লাহ খবর রাখেন যা কিছু তোমরা কর।
O ye who believe! When ye are told to make room in the assemblies, (spread out and) make room: (ample) room will Allah provide for you. And when ye are told to rise up, rise up Allah will rise up, to (suitable) ranks (and degrees), those of you who believe and who have been granted (mystic) Knowledge. And Allah is well-acquainted with all ye do. |
(আল মুজাদালাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১১) |

তোমরা কি কানকথা বলার পূর্বে সদকা প্রদান করতে ভীত হয়ে গেলে? অতঃপর তোমরা যখন সদকা দিতে পারলে না এবং আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে মাফ করে দিলেন তখন তোমরা নামায কায়েম কর, যাকাত প্রদান কর এবং আল্লাহ ও রসূলের আনুগত্য কর। আল্লাহ খবর রাখেন তোমরা যা কর।
Is it that ye are afraid of spending sums in charity before your private consultation (with him)? If, then, ye do not so, and Allah forgives you, then (at least) establish regular prayer; practise regular charity; and obey Allah and His Messenger. And Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do. |
(আল মুজাদালাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৩) |

আল্লাহ জনপদবাসীদের কাছ থেকে তাঁর রসূলকে যা দিয়েছেন, তা আল্লাহর, রসূলের, তাঁর আত্নীয়-স্বজনের, ইয়াতীমদের, অভাবগ্রস্তদের এবং মুসাফিরদের জন্যে, যাতে ধনৈশ্বর্য্য কেবল তোমাদের বিত্তশালীদের মধ্যেই পুঞ্জীভূত না হয়। রসূল তোমাদেরকে যা দেন, তা গ্রহণ কর এবং যা নিষেধ করেন, তা থেকে বিরত থাক এবং আল্লাহকে ভয় কর। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ কঠোর শাস্তিদাতা।
What Allah has bestowed on His Messenger (and taken away) from the people of the townships,- belongs to Allah,- to His Messenger and to kindred and orphans, the needy and the wayfarer; In order that it may not (merely) make a circuit between the wealthy among you. So take what the Messenger assigns to you, and deny yourselves that which he withholds from you. And fear Allah; for Allah is strict in Punishment. |
(আল হাশর:
আয়াতঃ ৭) |

আপনি কি মুনাফিকদেরকে দেখেন নি? তারা তাদের কিতাবধারী কাফের ভাইদেরকে বলেঃ তোমরা যদি বহিস্কৃত হও, তবে আমরা অবশ্যই তোমাদের সাথে দেশ থেকে বের হয়ে যাব এবং তোমাদের ব্যাপারে আমরা কখনও কারও কথা মানব না। আর যদি তোমরা আক্রান্ত হও, তবে আমরা অবশ্যই তোমাদেরকে সাহায্য করব। আল্লাহ তা’আলা সাক্ষ্য দেন যে, ওরা নিশ্চয়ই মিথ্যাবাদী।
Hast thou not observed the Hypocrites say to their misbelieving brethren among the People of the Book? - "If ye are expelled, we too will go out with you, and we will never hearken to any one in your affair; and if ye are attacked (in fight) we will help you". But Allah is witness that they are indeed liars. |

আয়াতঃ ১১) |

মুমিনগণ, তোমরা আমার ও তোমাদের শত্রুদেরকে বন্ধরূপে গ্রহণ করো না। তোমরা তো তাদের প্রতি বন্ধুত্বের বার্তা পাঠাও, অথচ তারা যে সত্য তোমাদের কাছে আগমন করেছে, তা অস্বীকার করছে। তারা রসূলকে ও তোমাদেরকে বহিস্কার করে এই অপরাধে যে, তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস রাখ। যদি তোমরা আমার সন্তুষ্টিলাভের জন্যে এবং আমার পথে জেহাদ করার জন্যে বের হয়ে থাক, তবে কেন তাদের প্রতি গোপনে বন্ধুত্বের পয়গাম প্রেরণ করছ? তোমরা যা গোপন কর এবং যা প্রকাশ কর, ত আমি খুব জানি। তোমাদের মধ্যে যে এটা করে, সে সরলপথ থেকে বিচ্যুত হয়ে যায়।
O ye who believe! Take not my enemies and yours as friends (or protectors),- offering them (your) love, even though they have rejected the Truth that has come to you, and have (on the contrary) driven out the Prophet and yourselves (from your homes), (simply) because ye believe in Allah your Lord! If ye have come out to strive in My Way and to seek My Good Pleasure, (take them not as friends), holding secret converse of love (and friendship) with them: for I know full well all that ye conceal and all that ye reveal. And any of you that does this has strayed from the Straight Path. |

তোমাদেরকে করতলগত করতে পারলে তারা তোমাদের শত্রু হয়ে যাবে এবং মন্দ উদ্দেশ্যে তোমাদের প্রতি বাহু ও রসনা প্রসারিত করবে এবং চাইবে যে, কোনরূপে তোমরা ও কাফের হয়ে যাও।
If they were to get the better of you, they would behave to you as enemies, and stretch forth their hands and their tongues against you for evil: and they desire that ye should reject the Truth. |
(আল মুমতাহিনা:
আয়াতঃ ২) |

ধর্মের ব্যাপারে যারা তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে লড়াই করেনি এবং তোমাদেরকে দেশ থেকে বহিস্কৃত করেনি, তাদের প্রতি সদাচরণ ও ইনসাফ করতে আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে নিষেধ করেন না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ ইনসাফকারীদেরকে ভালবাসেন।
Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: for Allah loveth those who are just. |
(আল মুমতাহিনা:
আয়াতঃ ৮) |

আল্লাহ কেবল তাদের সাথে বন্ধুত্ব করতে নিষেধ করেন, যারা ধর্মের ব্যাপারে তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করেছে, তোমাদেরকে দেশ থেকে বহিস্কৃত করেছে এবং বহিস্কারকার্যে সহায়তা করেছে। যারা তাদের সাথে বন্ধুত্ব করে তারাই জালেম।
Allah only forbids you, with regard to those who fight you for (your) Faith, and drive you out of your homes, and support (others) in driving you out, from turning to them (for friendship and protection). It is such as turn to them (in these circumstances), that do wrong. |

আয়াতঃ ৯) |

মুমিনগণ, আমি কি তোমাদেরকে এমন এক বানিজ্যের সন্ধান দিব, যা তোমাদেরকে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি থেকে মুক্তি দেবে?
O ye who believe! Shall I lead you to a bargain that will save you from a grievous Penalty?- |

বলুন, তোমরা যে মৃত্যু থেকে পলায়নপর, সেই মৃত্যু অবশ্যই তোমাদের মুখামুখি হবে, অতঃপর তোমরা অদৃশ্য, দৃশ্যের জ্ঞানী আল্লাহর কাছে উপস্থিত হবে। তিনি তোমাদেরকে জানিয়ে দিবেন সেসব কর্ম, যা তোমরা করতে।
Say: "The Death from which ye flee will truly overtake you: then will ye be sent back to the Knower of things secret and open: and He will tell you (the truth of) the things that ye did!" |

মুমিনগণ! তোমাদের ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি যেন তোমাদেরকে আল্লাহর স্মরণ থেকে গাফেল না করে। যারা এ কারণে গাফেল হয়, তারাই তো ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।
O ye who believe! Let not your riches or your children divert you from the remembrance of Allah. If any act thus, the loss is their own. |

| 300 |
আমি তোমাদেরকে যা দিয়েছি, তা থেকে মৃত্যু আসার আগেই ব্যয় কর। অন্যথায় সে বলবেঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আমাকে আরও কিছুকাল অবকাশ দিলে না কেন? তাহলে আমি সদকা করতাম এবং সৎকর্মীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হতাম।
and spend something (in charity) out of the substance which We have bestowed on you, before Death should come to any of you and he should say, "O my Lord! why didst Thou not give me respite for a little while? I should then have given (largely) in charity, and I should have been one of the doers of good". |

আয়াতঃ ১০) |

তিনিই তোমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন, অতঃপর তোমাদের মধ্যে কেউ কাফের এবং কেউ মুমিন। তোমরা যা কর, আল্লাহ তা দেখেন।
It is He Who has created you; and of you are some that are Unbelievers, and some that are Believers: and Allah sees well all that ye do. |

তিনি নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলকে যথাযথভাবে সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং তোমাদেরকে আকৃতি দান করেছেন, অতঃপর সুন্দর করেছেন তোমাদের আকৃতি। তাঁরই কাছে প্রত্যাবর্তন।
He has created the heavens and the earth in just proportions, and has given you shape, and made your shapes beautiful: and to Him is the final Goal. |
(আত-তাগাবুন:
আয়াতঃ ৩) |

কাফেররা দাবী করে যে, তারা কখনও পুনরুত্থিত হবে না। বলুন, অবশ্যই হবে, আমার পালনকর্তার কসম, তোমরা নিশ্চয় পুরুত্থিত হবে। অতঃপর তোমাদেরকে অবহিত করা হবে যা তোমরা করতে। এটা আল্লাহর পক্ষে সহজ।
The Unbelievers think that they will not be raised up (for Judgment). Say: "Yea, By my Lord, Ye shall surely be raised up: then shall ye be told (the truth) of all that ye did. And that is easy for Allah." |
(আত-তাগাবুন:
আয়াতঃ ৭) |
| 304 |
সেদিন অর্থাৎ, সমাবেশের দিন আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে সমবেত করবেন। এ দিন হার-জিতের দিন। যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে, আল্লাহ তার পাপসমূহ মোচন করবেন এবং তাকে জান্নাতে দাখিল করবেন। যার তলদেশে নির্ঝরিনীসমূহ প্রবাহিত হবে, তারা তথায় চিরকাল বসবাস করবে। এটাই মহাসাফল্য।
The Day that He assembles you (all) for a Day of Assembly,- that will be a Day of mutual loss and gain (among you), and those who believe in Allah and work righteousness,- He will remove from them their ills, and He will admit them to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, to dwell therein for ever: that will be the Supreme Achievement. |

| 305 |
যদি তোমরা আল্লাহকে উত্তম ঋণ দান কর, তিনি তোমাদের জন্যে তা দ্বিগুণ করে দেবেন এবং তোমাদেরকে ক্ষমা করবেন। আল্লাহ গুণগ্রাহী, সহনশীল।
If ye loan to Allah, a beautiful loan, He will double it to your (credit), and He will grant you Forgiveness: for Allah is most Ready to appreciate (service), Most Forbearing,- |

আয়াতঃ ১৭) |

হে কাফের সম্প্রদায়, তোমরা আজ ওযর পেশ করো না। তোমাদেরকে তারই প্রতিফল দেয়া হবে, যা তোমরা করতে।
(They will say), "O ye Unbelievers! Make no excuses this Day! Ye are being but requited for all that ye did!" |
(আত-তাহরীম:
আয়াতঃ ৭) |
| 307 |
মুমিনগণ! তোমরা আল্লাহ তা’আলার কাছে তওবা কর-আন্তরিক তওবা। আশা করা যায়, তোমাদের পালনকর্তা তোমাদের মন্দ কর্মসমূহ মোচন করে দেবেন এবং তোমাদেরকে দাখিল করবেন জান্নাতে, যার তলদেশে নদী প্রবাহিত। সেদিন আল্লাহ নবী এবং তাঁর বিশ্বাসী সহচরদেরকে অপদস্থ করবেন না। তাদের নূর তাদের সামনে ও ডানদিকে ছুটোছুটি করবে। তারা বলবেঃ হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আমাদের নূরকে পূর্ণ করে দিন এবং আমাদেরকে ক্ষমা করুন। নিশ্চয় আপনি সবকিছুর উপর সর্ব শক্তিমান।
O ye who believe! Turn to Allah with sincere repentance: In the hope that your Lord will remove from you your ills and admit you to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow,- the Day that Allah will not permit to be humiliated the Prophet and those who believe with him. Their Light will run forward before them and by their right hands, while they say, "Our Lord! Perfect our Light for us, and grant us Forgiveness: for Thou hast power over all things." |

| 308 |
যিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন মরণ ও জীবন, যাতে তোমাদেরকে পরীক্ষা করেন-কে তোমাদের মধ্যে কর্মে শ্রেষ্ঠ? তিনি পরাক্রমশালী, ক্ষমাময়।
He Who created Death and Life, that He may try which of you is best in deed: and He is the Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving;- |

আয়াতঃ ২) |

তোমরা কি ভাবনামুক্ত হয়ে গেছ যে, আকাশে যিনি আছেন তিনি তোমাদেরকে ভূগর্ভে বিলীন করে দেবেন, অতঃপর তা কাঁপতে থাকবে।
Do ye feel secure that He Who is in heaven will not cause you to be swallowed up by the earth when it shakes (as in an earthquake)? |
(আল মুলক:
আয়াতঃ ১৬) |
| 310 |
রহমান আল্লাহ তা’আলা ব্যতীত তোমাদের কোন সৈন্য আছে কি, যে তোমাদেরকে সাহায্য করবে? কাফেররা বিভ্রান্তিতেই পতিত আছে।
Nay, who is there that can help you, (even as) an army, besides (Allah) Most Merciful? In nothing but delusion are the Unbelievers. |

আয়াতঃ ২০) |
| 311 |
তিনি যদি রিযিক বন্ধ করে দেন, তবে কে আছে, যে তোমাদেরকে রিযিক দিবে বরং তারা অবাধ্যতা ও বিমুখতায় ডুবে রয়েছে।
Or who is there that can provide you with Sustenance if He were to withhold His provision? Nay, they obstinately persist in insolent impiety and flight (from the Truth). |

| 312 |
বলুন, তিনিই তোমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং দিয়েছেন কর্ণ, চক্ষু ও অন্তর। তোমরা অল্পই কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ কর।
Say: "It is He Who has created you (and made you grow), and made for you the faculties of hearing, seeing, feeling and understanding: little thanks it is ye give. |

বলুন, তিনিই তোমাদেরকে পৃথিবীতে বিস্তৃত করেছেন এবং তাঁরই কাছে তোমরা সমবেত হবে।
Say: "It is He Who has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered together." |
(আল মুলক:
আয়াতঃ ২৪) |
| 314 |
বলুন, তোমরা ভেবে দেখেছ কি, যদি তোমাদের পানি ভূগর্ভের গভীরে চলে যায়, তবে কে তোমাদেরকে সরবরাহ করবে পানির স্রোতধারা?
Say: "See ye?- If your stream be some morning lost (in the underground earth), who then can supply you with clear-flowing water?" |
(আল মুলক:
আয়াতঃ ৩০) |

তাদের উত্তম ব্যক্তি বললঃ আমি কি তোমাদেরকে বলিনি? এখনও তোমরা আল্লাহ তা’আলার পবিত্রতা বর্ণনা করছো না কেন?
Said one of them, more just (than the rest): "Did I not say to you, 'Why not glorify (Allah)?'" |
(আল কলম:
আয়াতঃ ২৮) |
| 316 |
যখন জলোচ্ছ্বাস হয়েছিল, তখন আমি তোমাদেরকে চলন্ত নৌযানে আরোহণ করিয়েছিলাম।
We, when the water (of Noah's Flood) overflowed beyond its limits, carried you (mankind), in the floating (Ark), |
(আল হাক্বক্বাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১১) |

সেদিন তোমাদেরকে উপস্থিত করা হবে। তোমাদের কোন কিছু গোপন থাকবে না।
That Day shall ye be brought to Judgment: not an act of yours that ye hide will be hidden. |
(আল হাক্বক্বাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৮) |

অথচ তিনি তোমাদেরকে বিভিন্ন রকমে সৃষ্টি করেছেন।
"'Seeing that it is He that has created you in diverse stages? |
(নূহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৪) |
| 319 |
আল্লাহ তা’আলা তোমাদেরকে মৃত্তিকা থেকে উদগত করেছেন।
"'And Allah has produced you from the earth growing (gradually), |
(নূহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৭) |
| 320 |
বলবেঃ তোমাদেরকে কিসে জাহান্নামে নীত করেছে?
"What led you into Hell Fire?" |
(আল মুদ্দাসসির:
আয়াতঃ ৪২) |
| 321 |
তারা বলেঃ কেবল আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টির জন্যে আমরা তোমাদেরকে আহার্য দান করি এবং তোমাদের কাছে কোন প্রতিদান ও কৃতজ্ঞতা কামনা করি না।
(Saying),"We feed you for the sake of Allah alone: no reward do we desire from you, nor thanks. |
(আদ-দাহর:
আয়াতঃ ৯) |
| 322 |
নিশ্চয়ই তোমাদেরকে প্রদত্ত ওয়াদা বাস্তবায়িত হবে।
Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. |
(আল মুরসালাত:
আয়াতঃ ৭) |
| 323 |
আমি কি তোমাদেরকে তুচ্ছ পানি থেকে সৃষ্টি করিনি?
Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- |
(আল মুরসালাত:
আয়াতঃ ২০) |
| 324 |
আমি তাতে স্থাপন করেছি মজবুত সুউচ্চ পর্বতমালা এবং পান করিয়েছি তোমাদেরকে তৃষ্ণা নিবারণকারী সুপেয় পানি।
And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? |
(আল মুরসালাত:
আয়াতঃ ২৭) |

এটা বিচার দিবস, আমি তোমাদেরকে এবং তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তীদেরকে একত্রিত করেছি।
That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! |
(আল মুরসালাত:
আয়াতঃ ৩৮) |

আমি তোমাদেরকে জোড়া জোড়া সৃষ্টি করেছি,
And (have We not) created you in pairs, |
(আন-নাবা:
আয়াতঃ ৮) |
| 327 |
আমি তোমাদেরকে আসন্ন শাস্তি সম্পর্কে সতর্ক করলাম, যেদিন মানুষ প্রত্যেক্ষ করবে যা সে সামনে প্রেরণ করেছে এবং কাফের বলবেঃ হায়, আফসোস-আমি যদি মাটি হয়ে যেতাম।
Verily, We have warned you of a Penalty near, the Day when man will see (the deeds) which his hands have sent forth, and the Unbeliever will say, "Woe unto me! Would that I were (metre) dust!" |

অতএব, আমি তোমাদেরকে প্রজ্বলিত অগ্নি সম্পর্কে সতর্ক করে দিয়েছি।
Therefore do I warn you of a Fire blazing fiercely; |

আয়াতঃ ১৪) |

প্রাচুর্যের লালসা তোমাদেরকে গাফেল রাখে,
The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things), |
