তোমার কাছে জিজ্ঞেস করে, কি তারা ব্যয় করবে? বলে দাও-যে বস্তুই তোমরা ব্যয় কর, তা হবে পিতা-মাতার জন্যে, আত্নীয়-আপনজনের জন্যে, এতীম-অনাথদের জন্যে, অসহায়দের জন্যে এবং মুসাফিরদের জন্যে। আর তোমরা যে কোন সৎকাজ করবে, নিঃসন্দেহে তা অত্যন্ত ভালভাবেই আল্লাহর জানা রয়েছে।
They ask thee what they should spend (In charity). Say: Whatever ye spend that is good, is for parents and kindred and orphans and those in want and for wayfarers. And whatever ye do that is good, -Allah knoweth it well. |

তওরাত নাযিল হওয়ার পূর্বে ইয়াকুব যেগুলো নিজেদের জন্য হারাম করে নিয়েছিলেন, সেগুলো ব্যতীত সমস্ত আহার্য বস্তুই বনী-ইসরায়ীলদের জন্য হালাল ছিল। তুমি বলে দাও, তোমরা যদি সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাক। তাহলে তওরাত নিয়ে এসো এবং তা পাঠ কর।
All food was lawful to the Children of Israel, except what Israel Made unlawful for itself, before the Law (of Moses) was revealed. Say: "Bring ye the Law and study it, if ye be men of truth." |

বললেন তুই এখান থেকে যা। এখানে অহংকার করার কোন অধিকার তোর নাই। অতএব তুই বের হয়ে যা। তুই হীনতমদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।
(Allah) said: "Get thee down from this: it is not for thee to be arrogant here: get out, for thou art of the meanest (of creatures)." |

এবং যারা আল্লাহকে ছেড়ে অন্যদের ডাকে, ওরা তো কোন বস্তুই সৃষ্টি করে না; বরং ওরা নিজেরাই সৃজিত।
Those whom they invoke besides Allah create nothing and are themselves created. |

মুশরিকরা বললঃ যদি আল্লাহ চাইতেন, তবে আমরা তাঁকে ছাড়া কারও এবাদত করতাম না এবং আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষেরাও করত না এবং তাঁর নির্দেশ ছাড়া কোন বস্তুই আমরা হারাম করতাম না। তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা এমনই করেছে। রাসূলের দায়িত্ব তো শুধুমাত্র সুস্পষ্ট বাণী পৌছিয়ে দেয়া।
The worshippers of false gods say: "If Allah had so willed, we should not have worshipped aught but Him - neither we nor our fathers,- nor should we have prescribed prohibitions other than His." So did those who went before them. But what is the mission of messengers but to preach the Clear Message? |

তুই সত্যচ্যুত করে তাদের মধ্য থেকে যাকে পারিস স্বীয় আওয়ায দ্বারা, স্বীয় অশ্বারোহী ও পদাতিক বাহিনী নিয়ে তাদেরকে আক্রমণ কর, তাদের অর্থ-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততিতে শরীক হয়ে যা এবং তাদেরকে প্রতিশ্রুতি দে। ছলনা ছাড়া শয়তান তাদেরকে কোন প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয় না।
"Lead to destruction those whom thou canst among them, with thy (seductive) voice; make assaults on them with thy cavalry and thy infantry; mutually share with them wealth and children; and make promises to them." But Satan promises them nothing but deceit. |

মূসা বললেনঃ দূর হ, তোর জন্য সারা জীবন এ শাস্তিই রইল যে, তুই বলবি; আমাকে স্পর্শ করো না, এবং তোর জন্য একটি নির্দিষ্ট ওয়াদা আছে, যার ব্যতিক্রম হবে না। তুই তোর সেই ইলাহের প্রতি লক্ষ্য কর, যাকে তুই ঘিরে থাকতি। আমরা সেটি জালিয়ে দেবই। অতঃপর একে বিক্ষিপ্ত করে সাগরে ছড়িয়ে দেবই।
(Moses) said: "Get thee gone! but thy (punishment) in this life will be that thou wilt say, 'touch me not'; and moreover (for a future penalty) thou hast a promise that will not fail: Now look at thy god, of whom thou hast become a devoted worshipper: We will certainly (melt) it in a blazing fire and scatter it broadcast in the sea!" |

বলুন, আমি তোমাদের কাছে কোন পারিশ্রমিক চাই না বরং তা তোমরাই রাখ। আমার পুরস্কার তো আল্লাহর কাছে রয়েছে। প্রত্যেক বস্তুই তাঁর সামনে।
Say: "No reward do I ask of you: it is (all) in your interest: my reward is only due from Allah: And He is witness to all things." |
(সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ৪৭) |

আল্লাহ বললেনঃ বের হয়ে যা, এখান থেকে। কারণ, তুই অভিশপ্ত।
(Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed. |

আয়াতঃ ৭৭) |
| 10 |
সেদিন স্মরণীয়; যেদিন আল্লাহ তাদের সকলকে পুনরুত্থিত করবেন, অতঃপর তাদেরকে জানিয়ে দিবেন যা তারা করত। আল্লাহ তার হিসাব রেখেছেন, আর তারা তা ভুলে গেছে। আল্লাহর সামনে উপস্থিত আছে সব বস্তুই।
On the Day that Allah will raise them all up (again) and show them the Truth (and meaning) of their conduct. Allah has reckoned its (value), though they may have forgotten it, for Allah is Witness to all things. |
