কিন্তু যারা তোমাদের গ্রেফতারের পূর্বে তওবা করে; জেনে রাখ, আল্লাহ ক্ষমাকারী, দয়ালু।
Except for those who repent before they fall into your power: in that case, know that Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. |

বস্তুতঃ এভাবে আমি বিষয়সমূহ সবিস্তারে বর্ণনা করি, যাতে তারা ফিরে আসে।
Thus do We explain the signs in detail; and perchance they may turn (unto Us). |

আলিফ, লা-ম, রা; এটি এমন এক কিতাব, যার আয়াত সমূহ সুপ্রতিষ্ঠিত অতঃপর সবিস্তারে বর্ণিত এক মহাজ্ঞানী, সর্বজ্ঞ সত্তার পক্ষ হতে।
A. L. R. (This is) a Book, with verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning), further explained in detail,- from One Who is Wise and Well-acquainted (with all things): |

তারা কি দেখে না যে, এটা তাদের কোন কথার উত্তর দেয় না এবং তারে কোন ক্ষতি ও উপকার করার ক্ষমতাও রাখে না?
Could they not see that it could not return them a word (for answer), and that it had no power either to harm them or to do them good? |
