মানুষদের মধ্যে যারা ইব্রাহীমের অনুসরণ করেছিল, তারা, আর এই নবী এবং যারা এ নবীর প্রতি ঈমান এনেছে তারা ইব্রাহীমের ঘনিষ্ঠতম-আর আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন মুমিনদের বন্ধু।
Without doubt, among men, the nearest of kin to Abraham, are those who follow him, as are also this Prophet and those who believe: And Allah is the Protector of those who have faith. |

আর তারা, না তাদের সাহায্য করতে পারে, না নিজের সাহায্য করতে পারে।
No aid can they give them, nor can they aid themselves! |
(আল আ'রাফ:

আর কোন কোন বেদুইন হল তারা, যারা ঈমান আনে আল্লাহর উপর, কেয়ামত দিনের উপর এবং নিজেদের ব্যয়কে আল্লাহর নৈকট্য এবং রসূলের দোয়া লাভের উপায় বলে গণ্য করে। জেনো! তাই হল তাদের ক্ষেত্রে নৈকট্য। আল্লাহ তাদেরকে নিজের রহমতের অন্তর্ভূক্ত করবেন। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, করুনাময়।
But some of the desert Arabs believe in Allah and the Last Day, and look on their payments as pious gifts bringing them nearer to Allah and obtaining the prayers of the Messenger. Aye, indeed they bring them nearer (to Him): soon will Allah admit them to His Mercy: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. |

এরাই তারা, আল্লাহ তা’য়ালা এদেরই অন্তর, কর্ণ ও চক্ষুর উপর মোহর মেরে দিয়েছেন এবং এরাই কান্ড জ্ঞানহীন।
Those are they whose hearts, ears, and eyes Allah has sealed up, and they take no heed. |

শুন, তোমরাই তো তারা, যাদেরকে আল্লাহর পথে ব্যয় করার আহবান জানানো হচ্ছে, অতঃপর তোমাদের কেউ কেউ কৃপণতা করছে। যারা কৃপণতা করছে, তারা নিজেদের প্রতিই কৃপণতা করছে। আল্লাহ অভাবমুক্ত এবং তোমরা অভাবগ্রস্থ। যদি তোমরা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নাও, তবে তিনি তোমাদের পরিবর্তে অন্য জাতিকে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করবেন, এরপর তারা তোমাদের মত হবে না।
Behold, ye are those invited to spend (of your substance) in the Way of Allah: But among you are some that are niggardly. But any who are niggardly are so at the expense of their own souls. But Allah is free of all wants, and it is ye that are needy. If ye turn back (from the Path), He will substitute in your stead another people; then they would not be like you! |
