অনন্তর যখন রজনীর অন্ধকার তার উপর সমাচ্ছন্ন হল, তখন সে একটি তারকা দেখতে পেল, বললঃ ইহা আমার প্রতিপালক। অতঃপর যখন তা অস্তমিত হল তখন বললঃ আমি অস্তগামীদেরকে ভালবাসি না।
When the night covered him over, He saw a star: He said: "This is my Lord." But when it set, He said: "I love not those that set." |

তিনিই তোমাদের কাজে নিয়োজিত করেছেন রাত্রি, দিন, সূর্য এবং চন্দ্রকে। তারকাসমূহ তাঁরই বিধানের কর্মে নিয়োজিত রয়েছে। নিশ্চয়ই এতে বোধশক্তিসম্পন্নদের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।
He has made subject to you the Night and the Day; the sun and the moon; and the stars are in subjection by His Command: verily in this are Signs for men who are wise. |

এবং তিনি পথ নির্ণয়ক বহু চিহ্ন সৃষ্টি করেছেন, এবং তারকা দ্বারা ও মানুষ পথের নির্দেশ পায়।
And marks and sign-posts; and by the stars (men) guide themselves. |

তুমি কি দেখনি যে, আল্লাহকে সেজদা করে যা কিছু আছে নভোমন্ডলে, যা কিছু আছে ভুমন্ডলে, সূর্য, চন্দ্র, তারকারাজি পর্বতরাজি বৃক্ষলতা, জীবজন্তু এবং অনেক মানুষ। আবার অনেকের উপর অবধারিত হয়েছে শাস্তি। আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা লাঞ্ছিত করেন, তাকে কেউ সম্মান দিতে পারে না। আল্লাহ যা ইচ্ছা তাই করেন
Seest thou not that to Allah bow down in worship all things that are in the heavens and on earth,- the sun, the moon, the stars; the hills, the trees, the animals; and a great number among mankind? But a great number are (also) such as are fit for Punishment: and such as Allah shall disgrace,- None can raise to honour: for Allah carries out all that He wills. |

নিশ্চয় আমি নিকটবর্তী আকাশকে তারকারাজির দ্বারা সুশোভিত করেছি।
We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,- |

অতঃপর সে একবার তারকাদের প্রতি লক্ষ্য করল।
Then did he cast a glance at the Stars. |

আয়াতঃ ৮৮) |

এবং রাত্রির কিছু অংশে এবং তারকা অস্তমিত হওয়ার সময় তাঁর পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা করুন।
And for part of the night also praise thou Him,- and at the retreat of the stars! |

অতএব, আমি তারকারাজির অস্তাচলের শপথ করছি,
Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- |

আয়াতঃ ৭৫) |

তারা কি লক্ষ্য করে না, তাদের মাথার উপর উড়ন্ত পক্ষীকুলের প্রতি পাখা বিস্তারকারী ও পাখা সংকোচনকারী? রহমান আল্লাহ-ই তাদেরকে স্থির রাখেন। তিনি সর্ব-বিষয় দেখেন।
Do they not observe the birds above them, spreading their wings and folding them in? None can uphold them except (Allah) Most Gracious: Truly (Allah) Most Gracious: Truly it is He that watches over all things. |
