তারা কি সে দিকেই তাকিয়ে রয়েছে যে, মেঘের আড়ালে তাদের সামনে আসবেন আল্লাহ ও ফেরেশতাগণ ? আর তাতেই সব মীমাংসা হয়ে যাবে। বস্তুতঃ সবকার্যকলাপই আল্লাহর নিকট গিয়ে পৌঁছবে।
Will they wait until Allah comes to them in canopies of clouds, with angels (in His train) and the question is (thus) settled? but to Allah do all questions go back (for decision). |

হে ঈমানদারগণ! তোমরা মুমিন ব্যতীত অন্য কাউকে অন্তরঙ্গরূপে গ্রহণ করো না, তারা তোমাদের অমঙ্গল সাধনে কোন ক্রটি করে না-তোমরা কষ্টে থাক, তাতেই তাদের আনন্দ। শত্রুতাপ্রসুত বিদ্বেষ তাদের মুখেই ফুটে বেরোয়। আর যা কিছু তাদের মনে লুকিয়ে রয়েছে, তা আরো অনেকগুণ বেশী জঘন্য। তোমাদের জন্যে নিদর্শন বিশদভাবে বর্ণনা করে দেয়া হলো, যদি তোমরা তা অনুধাবন করতে সমর্থ হও।
O ye who believe! Take not into your intimacy those outside your ranks: They will not fail to corrupt you. They only desire your ruin: Rank hatred has already appeared from their mouths: What their hearts conceal is far worse. We have made plain to you the Signs, if ye have wisdom. |

যে ব্যক্তি স্বেচ্ছাক্রমে মুসলমানকে হত্যা করে, তার শাস্তি জাহান্নাম, তাতেই সে চিরকাল থাকবে। আল্লাহ তার প্রতি ক্রুদ্ধ হয়েছেন, তাকে অভিসম্পাত করেছেন এবং তার জন্যে ভীষণ শাস্তি প্রস্তুত রেখেছেন।
If a man kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, to abide therein (For ever): And the wrath and the curse of Allah are upon him, and a dreadful penalty is prepared for him. |

আল্লাহ বললেনঃ আজকের দিনে সত্যবাদীদের সত্যবাদিতা তাদের উপকারে আসবে। তাদের জন্যে উদ্যান রয়েছে, যার তলদেশে নির্ঝরিনী প্রবাহিত হবে; তারা তাতেই চিরকাল থাকবে। আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট। এটিই মহান সফলতা।
Allah will say: "This is a day on which the truthful will profit from their truth: theirs are gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,- their eternal Home: Allah well-pleased with them, and they with Allah: That is the great salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires). |

যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছে এবং সৎকর্ম করেছে আমি কাউকে তার সামর্থ্যের চাইতে বেশী বোঝা দেই না। তারাই জান্নাতের অধিবাসী। তারা তাতেই চিরকাল থাকবে।
But those who believe and work righteousness,- no burden do We place on any soul, but that which it can bear,- they will be Companions of the Garden, therein to dwell (for ever). |

অবশ্যই যেসব লোক আমার সাক্ষাৎ লাভের আশা রাখে না এবং পার্থিব জীবন নিয়েই উৎফুল্ল রয়েছে, তাতেই প্রশান্তি অনুভব করেছে এবং যারা আমার নির্দশনসমূহ সম্পর্কে বেখবর।
Those who rest not their hope on their meeting with Us, but are pleased and satisfied with the life of the present, and those who heed not Our Signs,- |

নিশ্চয় যারা বলে, আমাদের পালনকর্তা আল্লাহ, অতঃপর তাতেই অবিচল থাকে, তাদের কাছে ফেরেশতা অবতীর্ণ হয় এবং বলে, তোমরা ভয় করো না, চিন্তা করো না এবং তোমাদের প্রতিশ্রুত জান্নাতের সুসংবাদ শোন।
In the case of those who say, "Our Lord is Allah", and, further, stand straight and steadfast, the angels descend on them (from time to time): "Fear ye not!" (they suggest), "Nor grieve! but receive the Glad Tidings of the Garden (of Bliss), the which ye were promised! |

তাদের থেকে আযাব লাঘব করা হবে না এবং তারা তাতেই থাকবে হতাশ হয়ে।
Nowise will the (Punishment) be lightened for them, and in despair will they be there overwhelmed. |
