আর যারা সঞ্চয় করেছে অকল্যাণ অসৎ কর্মের বদলায় সে পরিমাণ অপমান তাদের চেহারাকে আবৃত করে ফেলবে। কেউ নেই তাদেরকে বাঁচাতে পারে আল্লাহর হাত থেকে। তাদের মুখমন্ডল যেন ঢেকে দেয়া হয়েছে আধাঁর রাতের টুকরো দিয়ে। এরা হল দোযখবাসী। এরা এতেই থাকবে অনন্তকাল।
But those who have earned evil will have a reward of like evil: ignominy will cover their (faces): No defender will they have from (the wrath of) Allah: Their faces will be covered, as it were, with pieces from the depth of the darkness of night: they are companions of the Fire: they will abide therein (for aye)! |

তোমরা ঐ মহিলার মত হয়ো না, যে পরিশ্রমের পর কাটা সূতা টুকরো টুকরো করে ছিড়ে ফেলে, তোমরা নিজেদের কসমসমূহকে পারস্পরিক প্রবঞ্চনার বাহানা রূপে গ্রহণ কর এজন্যে যে, অন্য দল অপেক্ষা এক দল অধিক ক্ষমতাবান হয়ে যায়। এতদ্বারা তো আল্লাহ শুধু তোমাদের পরীক্ষা করেন। আল্লাহ অবশ্যই কিয়ামতের দিন প্রকাশ করে দেবেন, যে বিষয়ে তোমরা কলহ করতে।
And be not like a woman who breaks into untwisted strands the yarn which she has spun, after it has become strong. Nor take your oaths to practise deception between yourselves, lest one party should be more numerous than another: for Allah will test you by this; and on the Day of Judgment He will certainly make clear to you (the truth of) that wherein ye disagree. |

অতএব, যদি সত্যবাদী হও, তবে আকাশের কোন টুকরো আমাদের উপর ফেলে দাও।
