নিঃসন্দেহে সর্বপ্রথম ঘর যা মানুষের জন্যে নির্ধারিত হয়েছে, সেটাই হচ্ছে এ ঘর, যা মক্কায় অবস্থিত এবং সারা জাহানের মানুষের জন্য হেদায়েত ও বরকতময়।
The first House (of worship) appointed for men was that at Bakka: Full of blessing and of guidance for all kinds of beings: |

এগুলো হচ্ছে আল্লাহর নির্দেশ, যা তোমাদিগকে যথাযথ পাঠ করে শুনানো হচ্ছে। আর আল্লাহ বিশ্ব জাহানের প্রতি উৎপীড়ন করতে চান না।
These are the Signs of Allah: We rehearse them to thee in Truth: And Allah means no injustice to any of His creatures. |

সারা জাহানের মানুষের মধ্যে তোমরাই কি পুরূষদের সাথে কুকর্ম কর?
"Of all the creatures in the world, will ye approach males, |

এই কোরআন তো বিশ্ব-জাহানের পালনকর্তার নিকট থেকে অবতীর্ণ।
Verily this is a Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds: |

অতঃপর যখন তিনি আগুনের কাছে আসলেন তখন আওয়াজ হল ধন্য তিনি, যিনি আগুনের স্থানে আছেন এবং যারা আগুনের আশেপাশে আছেন। বিশ্ব জাহানের পালনকর্তা আল্লাহ পবিত্র ও মহিমান্বিত।
But when he came to the (fire), a voice was heard: "Blessed are those in the fire and those around: and glory to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. |

তাকে বলা হল, এই প্রাসাদে প্রবেশ কর। যখন সে তার প্রতি দৃষ্টিপাত করল সে ধারণা করল যে, এটা স্বচ্ছ গভীর জলাশয়। সে তার পায়ের গোছা খুলে ফেলল। সুলায়মান বলল, এটা তো স্বচ্ছ স্ফটিক নির্মিত প্রাসাদ। বিলকীস বলল, হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আমি তো নিজের প্রতি জুলুম করেছি। আমি সুলায়মানের সাথে বিশ্ব জাহানের পালনকর্তা আল্লাহর কাছে আত্নসমর্পন করলাম।
She was asked to enter the lofty Palace: but when she saw it, she thought it was a lake of water, and she (tucked up her skirts), uncovering her legs. He said: "This is but a palace paved smooth with slabs of glass." She said: "O my Lord! I have indeed wronged my soul: I do (now) submit (in Islam), with Solomon, to the Lord of the Worlds." |
