“বিতাড়িত শয়তান হতে আল্লাহর নিকট আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করছি। পরম করুণাময় ও অসীম দয়ালু আল্লাহর নামে আরম্ভ করছি।”
"জনপদ" শব্দযুক্ত আয়াত ম্যাচ করেছেঃ ৫৫
নং আয়াত সূরা
1 তুমি কি সে লোককে দেখনি যে এমন এক জনপদ দিয়ে যাচ্ছিল যার বাড়ীঘরগুলো ভেঙ্গে ছাদের উপর পড়ে ছিল? বলল, কেমন করে আল্লাহ মরনের পর একে জীবিত করবেন? অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাকে মৃত অবস্থায় রাখলেন একশ বছর। তারপর তাকে উঠালেন। বললেন, কত কাল এভাবে ছিলে? বলল আমি ছিলাম, একদিন কংবা একদিনের কিছু কম সময়। বললেন, তা নয়; বরং তুমি তো একশ বছর ছিলে। এবার চেয়ে দেখ নিজের খাবার ও পানীয়ের দিকে-সেগুলো পচে যায় নি এবং দেখ নিজের গাধাটির দিকে। আর আমি তোমাকে মানুষের জন্য দৃষ্টান্ত বানাতে চেয়েছি। আর হাড়গুলোর দিকে চেয়ে দেখ যে, আমি এগুলোকে কেমন করে জুড়ে দেই এবং সেগুলোর উপর মাংসের আবরণ পরিয়ে দেই। অতঃপর যখন তার উপর এ অবস্থা প্রকাশিত হল, তখন বলে উঠল-আমি জানি, নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ সর্ব বিষয়ে ক্ষমতাশীল।
Or (take) the similitude of one who passed by a hamlet, all in ruins to its roofs. He said: "Oh! how shall Allah bring it (ever) to life, after (this) its death?" but Allah caused him to die for a hundred years, then raised him up (again). He said: "How long didst thou tarry (thus)?" He said: (Perhaps) a day or part of a day." He said: "Nay, thou hast tarried thus a hundred years; but look at thy food and thy drink; they show no signs of age; and look at thy donkey: And that We may make of thee a sign unto the people, Look further at the bones, how We bring them together and clothe them with flesh." When this was shown clearly to him, he said: "I know that Allah hath power over all things."		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৫৯)
2 আর তোমাদের কি হল যে, তেমারা আল্লাহর রাহে লড়াই করছ না দুর্বল সেই পুরুষ, নারী ও শিশুদের পক্ষে, যারা বলে, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! আমাদিগকে এই জনপদ থেকে নিষ্কৃতি দান কর; এখানকার অধিবাসীরা যে, অত্যাচারী! আর তোমার পক্ষ থেকে আমাদের জন্য পক্ষালম্বনকারী নির্ধারণ করে দাও এবং তোমার পক্ষ থেকে আমাদের জন্য সাহায্যকারী নির্ধারণ করে দাও।
And why should ye not fight in the cause of Allah and of those who, being weak, are ill-treated (and oppressed)?- Men, women, and children, whose cry is: "Our Lord! Rescue us from this town, whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from Thee one who will protect; and raise for us from Thee one who will help!"		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৭৫)
3 আর এমনিভাবে আমি প্রত্যেক জনপদে অপরাধীদের জন্য কিছু সর্দার নিয়োগ করেছি-যেন তারা সেখানে চক্রান্ত করে। তাদের সে চক্রান্ত তাদের নিজেদের বিরুদ্ধেই; কিন্তু তারা তা উপলব্ধি করতে পারে না।
Thus have We placed leaders in every town, its wicked men, to plot (and burrow) therein: but they only plot against their own souls, and they perceive it not.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১২৩)
4 এটা এ জন্যে যে, আপনার প্রতিপালক কোন জনপদের অধিবাসীদেরকে জুলুমের কারণে ধ্বংস করেন না এমতাবস্থায় যে, তথাকার অধিবাসীরা অজ্ঞ থাকে।
(The messengers were sent) thus, for thy Lord would not destroy for their wrong-doing men's habitations whilst their occupants were unwarned.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৩১)
5 আর তোমরা অল্পই উপদেশ গ্রহণ কর। অনেক জনপদকে আমি ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছি। তাদের কাছে আমার আযাব রাত্রি বেলায় পৌছেছে অথবা দ্বিপ্রহরে বিশ্রামরত অবস্থায়।
How many towns have We destroyed (for their sins)? Our punishment took them on a sudden by night or while they slept for their afternoon rest.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪)
6 আর আমি কোন জনপদে কোন নবী পাঠাইনি, তবে (এমতাবস্থায়) যে পাকড়াও করেছি সে জনপদের অধিবাসীদিগকে কষ্ট ও কঠোরতার মধ্যে, যাতে তারা শিথিল হয়ে পড়ে।
Whenever We sent a prophet to a town, We took up its people in suffering and adversity, in order that they might learn humility.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৯৪)
7 আর যদি সে জনপদের অধিবাসীরা ঈমান আনত এবং পরহেযগারী অবলম্বন করত, তবে আমি তাদের প্রতি আসমানী ও পার্থিব নেয়ামত সমূহ উম্মুক্ত করে দিতাম। কিন্তু তারা মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করেছে। সুতরাং আমি তাদেরকে পাকড়াও করেছি তাদের কৃতকর্মের বদলাতে।
If the people of the towns had but believed and feared Allah, We should indeed have opened out to them (All kinds of) blessings from heaven and earth; but they rejected (the truth), and We brought them to book for their misdeeds.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৯৬)
8 এখনও কি এই জনপদের অধিবাসীরা এ ব্যাপারে নিশ্চিন্ত যে, আমার আযাব তাদের উপর রাতের বেলায় এসে পড়বে অথচ তখন তারা থাকবে ঘুমে অচেতন।
Did the people of the towns feel secure against the coming of Our wrath by night while they were asleep?		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৯৭)
9 আর এই জনপদের অধিবাসীরা কি নিশ্চিন্ত হয়ে পড়েছে যে, তাদের উপর আমার আযাব দিনের বেলাতে এসে পড়বে অথচ তারা তখন থাকবে খেলা-ধুলায় মত্ত।
Or else did they feel secure against its coming in broad daylight while they played about (care-free)?		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৯৮)
10 এগুলো হল সে সব জনপদ যার কিছু বিবরণ আমি আপনাকে অবহিত করছি। আর নিশ্চিতই ওদের কাছে পৌছেছিলেন রসূল নিদর্শন সহকারে। অতঃপর কস্মিনকালও এরা ঈমান আনবার ছিল না, তারপরে যা তার ইতিপূর্বে মিথ্যা বলে প্রতিপন্ন করেছে। এভাবেই আল্লাহ কাফেরদের অন্তরে মোহর এঁটে দেন।
Such were the towns whose story We (thus) relate unto thee: There came indeed to them their messengers with clear (signs): But they would not believe what they had rejected before. Thus doth Allah seal up the hearts of those who reject faith.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১০১)
11 আর তাদের কাছে সে জনপদের অবস্থা সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞেস কর যা ছিল নদীর তীরে অবস্থিত। যখন শনিবার দিনের নির্দেশের ব্যাপারে সীমাতিক্রম করতে লাগল, যখন আসতে লাগল মাছগুলো তাদের কাছে শনিবার দিন পানির উপর, আর যেদিন শনিবার হত না, আসত না। এভাবে আমি তাদেরকে পরীক্ষা করেছি। কারণ, তারা ছিল নাফরমান।
Ask them concerning the town standing close by the sea. Behold! they transgressed in the matter of the Sabbath. For on the day of their Sabbath their fish did come to them, openly holding up their heads, but on the day they had no Sabbath, they came not: thus did We make a trial of them, for they were given to transgression.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৬৩)
12 তাদের সংবাদ কি এদের কানে এসে পৌঁছায়নি, যারা ছিল তাদের পূর্বে; নূহের আ’দের ও সামুদের সম্প্রদায় এবং ইব্রাহীমের সম্প্রদায়ের এবং মাদইয়ানবাসীদের? এবং সেসব জনপদের যেগুলোকে উল্টে দেয়া হয়েছিল? তাদের কাছে এসেছিলেন তাদের নবী পরিষ্কার নির্দেশ নিয়ে। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ তো এমন ছিলেন না যে, তাদের উপর জুলুম করতেন, কিন্তু তারা নিজেরাই নিজেদের উপর জুলুম করতো।
Hath not the story reached them of those before them?- the People of Noah, and 'Ad, and Thamud; the People of Abraham, the men of Midian, and the cities overthrown. To them came their messengers with clear signs. It is not Allah Who wrongs them, but they wrong their own souls.		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৭০)
13 সুতরাং কোন জনপদ কেন এমন হল না যা ঈমান এনেছে অতঃপর তার সে ঈমান গ্রহণ হয়েছে কল্যাণকর? অবশ্য ইউনুসের সম্প্রদায়ের কথা আলাদা। তারা যখন ঈমান আনে তখন আমি তুলে নেই তাদের উপর থেকে অপমানজনক আযাব-পার্থিব জীবনে এবং তাদের কে কল্যাণ পৌছাই এক নিধারিত সময় পর্যন্ত।
Why was there not a single township (among those We warned), which believed,- so its faith should have profited it,- except the people of Jonah? When they believed, We removed from them the penalty of ignominy in the life of the present, and permitted them to enjoy (their life) for a while.		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৯৮)
14 অবশেষে যখন আমার হুকুম এসে পৌঁছাল, তখন আমি উক্ত জনপদকে উপরকে নীচে করে দিলাম এবং তার উপর স্তরে স্তরে কাঁকর পাথর বর্ষণ করলাম।
When Our Decree issued, We turned (the cities) upside down, and rained down on them brimstones hard as baked clay, spread, layer on layer,-		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৮২)
15 এ হচ্ছে কয়েকটি জনপদের সামান্য ইতিবৃত্ত, যা আমি আপনাকে শোনাচ্ছি। তন্মধ্যে কোন কোনটি এখনও বর্তমান আছে আর কোন কোনটির শিকড় কেটে দেয়া হয়েছে।
These are some of the stories of communities which We relate unto thee: of them some are standing, and some have been mown down (by the sickle of time).		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ১০০)
16 আর তোমার পরওয়ারদেগার যখন কোন পাপপূর্ণ জনপদকে ধরেন, তখন এমনিভাবেই ধরে থাকেন। নিশ্চয় তাঁর পাকড়াও খুবই মারাত্নক, বড়ই কঠোর।
Such is the chastisement of thy Lord when He chastises communities in the midst of their wrong: grievous, indeed, and severe is His chastisement.		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ১০২)
17 জিজ্ঞেস করুন ঐ জনপদের লোকদেরকে যেখানে আমরা ছিলাম এবং ঐ কাফেলাকে, যাদের সাথে আমরা এসেছি। নিশ্চিতই আমরা সত্য বলছি।
"'Ask at the town where we have been and the caravan in which we returned, and (you will find) we are indeed telling the truth.'"		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৮২)
18 আপনার পূর্বে আমি যতজনকে রসূল করে পাঠিয়েছি, তারা সবাই পুরুষই ছিল জনপদবাসীদের মধ্য থেকে। আমি তাঁদের কাছে ওহী প্রেরণ করতাম। তারা কি দেশ-বিদেশ ভ্রমণ করে না, যাতে দেখে নিত কিরূপ পরিণতি হয়েছে তাদের যারা পূর্বে ছিল ? সংযমকারীদের জন্যে পরকালের আবাসই উত্তম। তারা কি এখনও বোঝে না?
Nor did We send before thee (as messengers) any but men, whom we did inspire,- (men) living in human habitations. Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those before them? But the home of the hereafter is best, for those who do right. Will ye not then understand?		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ১০৯)
19 আমি কোন জনপদ ধবংস করিনি; কিন্ত তার নির্দিষ্ট সময় লিখিত ছিল।
Never did We destroy a population that had not a term decreed and assigned beforehand.		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ৪)
20 অতঃপর আমি জনপদটিকে উল্টে দিলাম এবং তাদের উপর কঙ্করের প্রস্থর বর্ষণ করলাম।
And We turned (the cities) upside down, and rained down on them brimstones hard as baked clay.		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ৭৪)
21 জনপদটি সোজা পথে অবস্থিত রয়েছে।
And the (cities were) right on the high-road.		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ৭৬)
22 আল্লাহ দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছেন একটি জনপদের, যা ছিল নিরাপদ ও নিশ্চিন্ত, তথায় প্রত্যেক জায়গা থেকে আসত প্রচুর জীবনোপকরণ। অতঃপর তারা আল্লাহর নেয়ামতের প্রতি অকৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করল। তখন আল্লাহ তাদেরকে তাদের কৃতকর্মের কারণে স্বাদ আস্বাদন করালেন, ক্ষুধা ও ভীতির।
Allah sets forth a Parable: a city enjoying security and quiet, abundantly supplied with sustenance from every place: Yet was it ungrateful for the favours of Allah: so Allah made it taste of hunger and terror (in extremes) (closing in on it) like a garment (from every side), because of the (evil) which (its people) wrought.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ১১২)
23 অতঃপর যখন প্রতিশ্রুতি সেই প্রথম সময়টি এল, তখন আমি তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে প্রেরণ করলাম আমার কঠোর যোদ্ধা বান্দাদেরকে। অতঃপর তারা প্রতিটি জনপদের আনাচে-কানাচে পর্যন্ত ছড়িয়ে পড়ল। এ ওয়াদা পূর্ণ হওয়ারই ছিল।
When the first of the warnings came to pass, We sent against you Our servants given to terrible warfare: They entered the very inmost parts of your homes; and it was a warning (completely) fulfilled.		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৫)
24 যখন আমি কোন জনপদকে ধ্বংস করার ইচ্ছা করি তখন তার অবস্থাপন্ন লোকদেরকে উদ্ধুদ্ধ করি অতঃপর তারা পাপাচারে মেতে উঠে। তখন সে জনগোষ্টীর উপর আদেশ অবধারিত হয়ে যায়। অতঃপর আমি তাকে উঠিয়ে আছাড় দেই।
When We decide to destroy a population, We (first) send a definite order to those among them who are given the good things of this life and yet transgress; so that the word is proved true against them: then (it is) We destroy them utterly.		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ১৬)
25 এমন কোন জনপদ নেই, যাকে আমি কেয়ামত দিবসের পূর্বে ধ্বংস করব না অথবা যাকে কঠোর শাস্তি দেব না। এটা তো গ্রন্থে লিপিবদ্ধ হয়ে গেছে।
There is not a population but We shall destroy it before the Day of Judgment or punish it with a dreadful Penalty: that is written in the (eternal) Record.		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৫৮)
26 এসব জনপদও তাদেরকে আমি ধংস করে দিয়েছি, যখন তারা জালেম হয়ে গিয়েছিল এবং আমি তাদের ধ্বংসের জন্যে একটি প্রতিশ্রুত সময় নির্দিষ্ট করেছিলাম।
Such were the populations we destroyed when they committed iniquities; but we fixed an appointed time for their destruction.		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৯)
27 অতঃপর তারা চলতে লাগল, অবশেষে যখন একটি জনপদের অধিবাসীদের কাছে পৌছে তাদের কাছে খাবার চাইল, তখন তারা তাদের অতিথেয়তা করতে অস্বীকার করল। অতঃপর তারা সেখানে একটি পতনোম্মুখ প্রাচীর দেখতে পেলেন, সেটি তিনি সোজা করে দাঁড় করিয়ে দিলেন। মূসা বললেনঃ আপনি ইচ্ছা করলে তাদের কাছ থেকে এর পারিশ্রমিক আদায় করতে পারতেন।
Then they proceeded: until, when they came to the inhabitants of a town, they asked them for food, but they refused them hospitality. They found there a wall on the point of falling down, but he set it up straight. (Moses) said: "If thou hadst wished, surely thou couldst have exacted some recompense for it!"		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৭)
28 তাদের পূর্বে যেসব জনপদ আমি ধবংস করে দিয়েছি, তারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেনি; এখন এরা কি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করবে?
(As to those) before them, not one of the populations which We destroyed believed: will these believe?		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৬)
29 আমি কত জনপদের ধ্বংস সাধন করেছি যার অধিবাসীরা ছিল পাপী এবং তাদের পর সৃষ্টি করেছি অন্য জাতি।
How many were the populations We utterly destroyed because of their iniquities, setting up in their places other peoples?		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
30 এবং আমি লূতকে দিয়েছিলাম প্রজ্ঞা ও জ্ঞান এবং তাঁকে ঐ জনপদ থেকে উদ্ধার করেছিলাম, যারা নোংরা কাজে লিপ্ত ছিল। তারা মন্দ ও নাফরমান সম্প্রদায় ছিল।
And to Lut, too, We gave Judgment and Knowledge, and We saved him from the town which practised abominations: truly they were a people given to Evil, a rebellious people.		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৭৪)
31 যেসব জনপদকে আমি ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছি, তার অধিবাসীদের ফিরে না আসা অবধারিত।
But there is a ban on any population which We have destroyed: that they shall not return,		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৯৫)
32 আমি কত জনপদ ধ্বংস করেছি এমতাবস্থায় যে, তারা ছিল গোনাহগার। এই সব জনপদ এখন ধ্বংসস্তুপে পরিণত হয়েছে এবং কত কূপ পরিত্যক্ত হয়েছে ও কত সুদৃঢ় প্রাসাদ ধ্বংস হয়েছে।
How many populations have We destroyed, which were given to wrong-doing? They tumbled down on their roofs. And how many wells are lying idle and neglected, and castles lofty and well-built?		 (হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৪৫)
33 এবং আমি কত জনপদকে অবকাশ দিয়েছি এমতাবস্থায় যে, তারা গোনাহগার ছিল। এরপর তাদেরকে পাকড়াও করেছি এবং আমার কাছেই প্রত্যাবর্তন করতে হবে।
And to how many populations did I give respite, which were given to wrong-doing? in the end I punished them. To me is the destination (of all).		 (হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৪৮)
34 তারা তো সেই জনপদের উপর দিয়েই যাতায়াত করে, যার ওপর বর্ষিত হয়েছে মন্দ বৃষ্টি। তবে কি তারা তা প্রত্যক্ষ করে না? বরং তারা পুনরুজ্জীবনের আশঙ্কা করে না।
And the (Unbelievers) must indeed have passed by the town on which was rained a shower of evil: did they not then see it (with their own eyes)? But they fear not the Resurrection.		 (আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৪০)
35 আমি ইচ্ছা করলে প্রত্যেক জনপদে একজন ভয় প্রদর্শনকারী প্রেরণ করতে পারতাম।
Had it been Our Will, We could have sent a warner to every centre of population.		 (আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৫১)
36 আমি কোন জনপদ ধ্বংস করিনি; কিন্তু এমতাবস্থায় যে, তারা সতর্ককারী ছিল।
Never did We destroy a population, but had its warners -		 (আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ২০৮)
37 সে বলল, রাজা বাদশারা যখন কোন জনপদে প্রবেশ করে, তখন তাকে বিপর্যস্ত করে দেয় এবং সেখানকার সম্ভ্রান্ত ব্যক্তিবর্গকে অপদস্থ করে। তারাও এরূপই করবে।
She said: "Kings, when they enter a country, despoil it, and make the noblest of its people its meanest thus do they behave.		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৩৪)
38 উত্তরে তাঁর কওম শুধু এ কথাটিই বললো, লূত পরিবারকে তোমাদের জনপদ থেকে বের করে দাও। এরা তো এমন লোক যারা শুধু পাকপবিত্র সাজতে চায়।
But his people gave no other answer but this: they said, "Drive out the followers of Lut from your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure!"		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৫৬)
39 আমি অনেক জনপদ ধবংস করেছি, যার অধিবাসীরা তাদের জীবন যাপনে মদমত্ত ছিল। এগুলোই এখন তাদের ঘর-বাড়ী। তাদের পর এগুলোতে মানুষ সামান্যই বসবাস করেছে। অবশেষে আমিই মালিক রয়েছি।
And how many populations We destroyed, which exulted in their life (of ease and plenty)! now those habitations of theirs, after them, are deserted,- All but a (miserable) few! and We are their heirs!		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৫৮)
40 আপনার পালনকর্তা জনপদসমূহকে ধ্বংস করেন না, যে পর্যন্ত তার কেন্দ্রস্থলে রসূল প্রেরণ না করেন, যিনি তাদের কাছে আমার আয়াতসমূহ পাঠ করেন এবং আমি জনপদসমূহকে তখনই ধ্বংস করি, যখন তার বাসিন্দারা জুলুম করে।
Nor was thy Lord the one to destroy a population until He had sent to its centre a messenger, rehearsing to them Our Signs; nor are We going to destroy a population except when its members practise iniquity.		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৫৯)
41 যখন আমার প্রেরিত ফেরেশতাগণ সুসংবাদ নিয়ে ইব্রাহীমের কাছে আগমন করল, তখন তারা বলল, আমরা এই জনপদের অধিবাসীদেরকে ধ্বংস করব। নিশ্চয় এর অধিবাসীরা জালেম।
When Our Messengers came to Abraham with the good news, they said: "We are indeed going to destroy the people of this township: for truly they are (addicted to) crime."		 (আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৩১)
42 সে বলল, এই জনপদে তো লূতও রয়েছে। তারা বলল, সেখানে কে আছে, তা আমরা ভাল জানি। আমরা অবশ্যই তাকে ও তাঁর পরিবারবর্গকে রক্ষা করব তাঁর স্ত্রী ব্যতীত; সে ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্তদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত থাকবে।
He said: "But there is Lut there." They said: "Well do we know who is there: we will certainly save him and his following,- except his wife: she is of those who lag behind!"		 (আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৩২)
43 আমরা এই জনপদের অধিবাসীদের উপর আকাশ থেকে আযাব নাজিল করব তাদের পাপাচারের কারণে।
"For we are going to bring down on the people of this township a Punishment from heaven, because they have been wickedly rebellious."		 (আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৩৪)
44 তাদের এবং যেসব জনপদের লোকদের প্রতি আমি অনুগ্রহ করেছিলম সেগুলোর মধ্যবর্তী স্থানে অনেক দৃশ্যমান জনপদ স্থাপন করেছিলাম এবং সেগুলোতে ভ্রমণ নির্ধারিত করেছিলাম। তোমরা এসব জনপদে রাত্রে ও দিনে নিরাপদে ভ্রমণ কর।
Between them and the Cities on which We had poured our blessings, We had placed Cities in prominent positions, and between them We had appointed stages of journey in due proportion: "Travel therein, secure, by night and by day."		 (সাবা:

45 কোন জনপদে সতর্ককারী প্রেরণ করা হলেই তার বিত্তশালী অধিবাসীরা বলতে শুরু করেছে, তোমরা যে বিষয়সহ প্রেরিত হয়েছ, আমরা তা মানি না।
Never did We send a warner to a population, but the wealthy ones among them said: "We believe not in the (Message) with which ye have been sent."		 (সাবা:

46 আপনি তাদের কাছে সে জনপদের অধিবাসীদের দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করুন, যখন সেখানে রসূল আগমন করেছিলেন।
Set forth to them, by way of a parable, the (story of) the Companions of the City. Behold!, there came messengers to it.		 (ইয়াসীন:

47 এমনিভাবে আপনার পূর্বে আমি যখন কোন জনপদে কোন সতর্ককারী প্রেরণ করেছি, তখনই তাদের বিত্তশালীরা বলেছে, আমরা আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদেরকে পেয়েছি এক পথের পথিক এবং আমরা তাদেরই পদাংক অনুসরণ করে চলছি।
Just in the same way, whenever We sent a Warner before thee to any people, the wealthy ones among them said: "We found our fathers following a certain religion, and we will certainly follow in their footsteps."		 (যুখরুফ:

48 তারা বলে, কোরআন কেন দুই জনপদের কোন প্রধান ব্যক্তির উপর অবতীর্ণ হল না?
Also, they say: "Why is not this Qur'an sent down to some leading man in either of the two (chief) cities?"		 (যুখরুফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩১)
49 আমি তোমাদের আশপাশের জনপদ সমূহ ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছি এবং বার বার আয়াতসমূহ শুনিয়েছি, যাতে তারা ফিরে আসে।
We destroyed aforetime populations round about you; and We have shown the Signs in various ways, that they may turn (to Us).		 (আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ২৭)
50 যে জনপদ আপনাকে বহিস্কার করেছে, তদপেক্ষা কত শক্তিশালী জনপদকে আমি ধ্বংস করেছি, অতঃপর তাদেরকে সাহায্য করার কেউ ছিল না।
And how many cities, with more power than thy city which has driven thee out, have We destroyed (for their sins)? and there was none to aid them.		 (মুহাম্মদ:

51 বান্দাদের জীবিকাস্বরূপ এবং বৃষ্টি দ্বারা আমি মৃত জনপদকে সঞ্জীবিত করি। এমনিভাবে পুনরুত্থান ঘটবে।
As sustenance for (Allah's) Servants;- and We give (new) life therewith to land that is dead: Thus will be the Resurrection.		 (ক্বাফ:

52 তিনিই জনপদকে শুন্যে উত্তোলন করে নিক্ষেপ করেছেন।
And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah).		 (আন-নাজম:
আয়াতঃ ৫৩)
53 আল্লাহ জনপদবাসীদের কাছ থেকে তাঁর রসূলকে যা দিয়েছেন, তা আল্লাহর, রসূলের, তাঁর আত্নীয়-স্বজনের, ইয়াতীমদের, অভাবগ্রস্তদের এবং মুসাফিরদের জন্যে, যাতে ধনৈশ্বর্য্য কেবল তোমাদের বিত্তশালীদের মধ্যেই পুঞ্জীভূত না হয়। রসূল তোমাদেরকে যা দেন, তা গ্রহণ কর এবং যা নিষেধ করেন, তা থেকে বিরত থাক এবং আল্লাহকে ভয় কর। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ কঠোর শাস্তিদাতা।
What Allah has bestowed on His Messenger (and taken away) from the people of the townships,- belongs to Allah,- to His Messenger and to kindred and orphans, the needy and the wayfarer; In order that it may not (merely) make a circuit between the wealthy among you. So take what the Messenger assigns to you, and deny yourselves that which he withholds from you. And fear Allah; for Allah is strict in Punishment.		 (আল হাশর:

54 তারা সংঘবদ্ধভাবেও তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করতে পারবে না। তারা যুদ্ধ করবে কেবল সুরক্ষিত জনপদে অথবা দুর্গ প্রাচীরের আড়াল থেকে। তাদের পারস্পরিক যুদ্ধই প্রচন্ড হয়ে থাকে। আপনি তাদেরকে ঐক্যবদ্ধ মনে করবেন; কিন্তু তাদের অন্তর শতধাবিচ্ছিন্ন। এটা এ কারণে যে, তারা এক কান্ডজ্ঞানহীণ সম্প্রদায়।
They will not fight you (even) together, except in fortified townships, or from behind walls. Strong is their fighting (spirit) amongst themselves: thou wouldst think they were united, but their hearts are divided: that is because they are a people devoid of wisdom.		 (আল হাশর:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
55 অনেক জনপদ তাদের পালনকর্তা ও তাঁর রসূলগণের আদেশ অমান্য করেছিল, অতঃপর আমি তাদেরকে কঠোর হিসাবে ধৃত করেছিলাম এবং তাদেরকে ভীষণ শাস্তি দিয়েছিলাম।
How many populations that insolently opposed the Command of their Lord and of His messengers, did We not then call to account,- to severe account?- and We imposed on them an exemplary Punishment.		 (আত্ব-ত্বালাক্ব:
