“বিতাড়িত শয়তান হতে আল্লাহর নিকট আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করছি। পরম করুণাময় ও অসীম দয়ালু আল্লাহর নামে আরম্ভ করছি।”
"ছিল।" শব্দযুক্ত আয়াত ম্যাচ করেছেঃ ১৬৩
নং আয়াত সূরা
1 আল্লাহ পাক নিঃসন্দেহে মশা বা তদুর্ধ্ব বস্তু দ্বারা উপমা পেশ করতে লজ্জাবোধ করেন না। বস্তুতঃ যারা মুমিন তারা নিশ্চিতভাবে বিশ্বাস করে যে, তাদের পালনকর্তা কর্তৃক উপস্থাপিত এ উপমা সম্পূর্ণ নির্ভূল ও সঠিক। আর যারা কাফের তারা বলে, এরূপ উপমা উপস্থাপনে আল্লাহর মতলবই বা কি ছিল। এ দ্বারা আল্লাহ তা’আলা অনেককে বিপথগামী করেন, আবার অনেককে সঠিক পথও প্রদর্শন করেন। তিনি অনুরূপ উপমা দ্বারা অসৎ ব্যক্তিবর্গ ভিন্ন কাকেও বিপথগামী করেন না।
Allah disdains not to use the similitude of things, lowest as well as highest. Those who believe know that it is truth from their Lord; but those who reject Faith say: "What means Allah by this similitude?" By it He causes many to stray, and many He leads into the right path; but He causes not to stray, except those who forsake (the path),-		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৬)
2 অনন্তর শয়তান তাদের উভয়কে ওখান থেকে পদস্খলিত করেছিল। পরে তারা যে সুখ-স্বাচ্ছন্দ্যে ছিল তা থেকে তাদেরকে বের করে দিল এবং আমি বললাম, তোমরা নেমে যাও। তোমরা পরস্পর একে অপরের শক্র হবে এবং তোমাদেরকে সেখানে কিছুকাল অবস্থান করতে হবে ও লাভ সংগ্রহ করতে হবে।
Then did Satan make them slip from the (garden), and get them out of the state (of felicity) in which they had been. We said: "Get ye down, all (ye people), with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling-place and your means of livelihood - for a time."		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬)
3 তোমরা তাদেরকে ভালরূপে জেনেছ, যারা শনিবারের ব্যাপারে সীমা লঙ্ঘণ করেছিল। আমি বলেছিলামঃ তোমরা লাঞ্ছিত বানর হয়ে যাও।
And well ye knew those amongst you who transgressed in the matter of the Sabbath: We said to them: "Be ye apes, despised and rejected."		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৬৫)
4 হে মুসলমানগণ, তোমরা কি আশা কর যে, তারা তোমাদের কথায় ঈমান আনবে? তাদের মধ্যে একদল ছিল, যারা আল্লাহর বাণী শ্রবণ করত; অতঃপর বুঝে-শুনে তা পরিবর্তন করে দিত এবং তারা তা অবগত ছিল।
Can ye (o ye men of Faith) entertain the hope that they will believe in you?- Seeing that a party of them heard the Word of Allah, and perverted it knowingly after they understood it.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৭৫)
5 আর যখন আমি তোমাদের কাছ থেকে প্রতিশ্রুতি নিলাম এবং তুর পর্বতকে তোমাদের উপর তুলে ধরলাম যে, শক্ত করে ধর, আমি যা তোমাদের দিয়েছি আর শোন। তারা বলল, আমরা শুনেছি আর অমান্য করেছি। কুফরের কারণে তাদের অন্তরে গোবৎসপ্রীতি পান করানো হয়েছিল। বলে দিন, তোমরা বিশ্বাসী হলে, তোমাদের সে বিশ্বাস মন্দ বিষয়াদি শিক্ষা দেয়।
And remember We took your covenant and We raised above you (the towering height) of Mount (Sinai): (Saying): "Hold firmly to what We have given you, and hearken (to the Law)": They said:" We hear, and we disobey:" And they had to drink into their hearts (of the taint) of the calf because of their Faithlessness. Say: "Vile indeed are the behests of your Faith if ye have any faith!"		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৯৩)
6 তারা ঐ শাস্ত্রের অনুসরণ করল, যা সুলায়মানের রাজত্ব কালে শয়তানরা আবৃত্তি করত। সুলায়মান কুফর করেনি; শয়তানরাই কুফর করেছিল। তারা মানুষকে জাদুবিদ্যা এবং বাবেল শহরে হারুত ও মারুত দুই ফেরেশতার প্রতি যা অবতীর্ণ হয়েছিল, তা শিক্ষা দিত। তারা উভয়ই একথা না বলে কাউকে শিক্ষা দিত না যে, আমরা পরীক্ষার জন্য; কাজেই তুমি কাফের হয়ো না। অতঃপর তারা তাদের কাছ থেকে এমন জাদু শিখত, যদ্দ্বারা স্বামী ও স্ত্রীর মধ্যে বিচ্ছেদ ঘটে। তারা আল্লাহর আদেশ ছাড়া তদ্দ্বারা কারও অনিষ্ট করতে পারত না। যা তাদের ক্ষতি করে এবং উপকার না করে, তারা তাই শিখে। তারা ভালরূপে জানে যে, যে কেউ জাদু অবলম্বন করে, তার জন্য পরকালে কোন অংশ নেই। যার বিনিময়ে তারা আত্নবিক্রয় করেছে, তা খুবই মন্দ যদি তারা জানত।
They followed what the evil ones gave out (falsely) against the power of Solomon: the blasphemers Were, not Solomon, but the evil ones, teaching men Magic, and such things as came down at babylon to the angels Harut and Marut. But neither of these taught anyone (Such things) without saying: "We are only for trial; so do not blaspheme." They learned from them the means to sow discord between man and wife. But they could not thus harm anyone except by Allah's permission. And they learned what harmed them, not what profited them. And they knew that the buyers of (magic) would have no share in the happiness of the Hereafter. And vile was the price for which they did sell their souls, if they but knew!		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১০২)
7 ইহুদীরা বলে, খ্রীস্টানরা কোন ভিত্তির উপরেই নয় এবং খ্রীস্টানরা বলে, ইহুদীরা কোন ভিত্তির উপরেই নয়। অথচ ওরা সবাই কিতাব পাঠ করে! এমনিভাবে যারা মূর্খ, তারাও ওদের মতই উক্তি করে। অতএব, আল্লাহ কেয়ামতের দিন তাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা দেবেন, যে বিষয়ে তারা মতবিরোধ করছিল।
The Jews say: "The Christians have naught (to stand) upon; and the Christians say: "The Jews have naught (To stand) upon." Yet they (Profess to) study the (same) Book. Like unto their word is what those say who know not; but Allah will judge between them in their quarrel on the Day of Judgment.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১১৩)
8 স্মরণ কর, যখন ইব্রাহীম ও ইসমাঈল কা’বাগৃহের ভিত্তি স্থাপন করছিল। তারা দোয়া করেছিলঃ পরওয়ারদেগার! আমাদের থেকে কবুল কর। নিশ্চয়ই তুমি শ্রবণকারী, সর্বজ্ঞ।
And remember Abraham and Isma'il raised the foundations of the House (With this prayer): "Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us: For Thou art the All-Hearing, the All-knowing.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১২৭)
9 সকল মানুষ একই জাতি সত্তার অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিল। অতঃপর আল্লাহ তা’আলা পয়গম্বর পাঠালেন সুসংবাদদাতা ও ভীতি প্রদর্শনকরী হিসাবে। আর তাঁদের সাথে অবর্তীণ করলেন সত্য কিতাব, যাতে মানুষের মাঝে বিতর্কমূলক বিষয়ে মীমাংসা করতে পারেন। বস্তুতঃ কিতাবের ব্যাপারে অন্য কেউ মতভেদ করেনি; কিন্তু পরিষ্কার নির্দেশ এসে যাবার পর নিজেদের পারস্পরিক জেদবশতঃ তারাই করেছে, যারা কিতাব প্রাপ্ত হয়েছিল। অতঃপর আল্লাহ ঈমানদারদেরকে হেদায়েত করেছেন সেই সত্য বিষয়ে, যে ব্যাপারে তারা মতভেদ লিপ্ত হয়েছিল। আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা, সরল পথ বাতলে দেন।
Mankind was one single nation, and Allah sent Messengers with glad tidings and warnings; and with them He sent the Book in truth, to judge between people in matters wherein they differed; but the People of the Book, after the clear Signs came to them, did not differ among themselves, except through selfish contumacy. Allah by His Grace Guided the believers to the Truth, concerning that wherein they differed. For Allah guided whom He will to a path that is straight.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২১৩)
10 হে ঈমানদারগণ!তোমরা অনুগ্রহের কথা প্রকাশ করে এবং কষ্ট দিয়ে নিজেদের দান খয়রাত বরবাদ করো না সে ব্যক্তির মত যে নিজের ধন-সম্পদ লোক দেখানোর উদ্দেশ্যে ব্যয় করে এবং আল্লাহ ও পরকালের প্রতি বিশ্বাস রাখে না। অতএব, এ ব্যাক্তির দৃষ্টান্ত একটি মসৃণ পাথরের মত যার উপর কিছু মাটি পড়েছিল। অতঃপর এর উপর প্রবল বৃষ্টি বর্ষিত হলো, অনন্তর তাকে সম্পূর্ণ পরিষ্কার করে দিল। তারা ঐ বস্তুর কোন সওয়াব পায় না, যা তারা উপার্জন করেছে। আল্লাহ কাফের সম্প্রদায়কে পথ প্রদর্শন করেন না।
O ye who believe! cancel not your charity by reminders of your generosity or by injury,- like those who spend their substance to be seen of men, but believe neither in Allah nor in the Last Day. They are in parable like a hard, barren rock, on which is a little soil: on it falls heavy rain, which leaves it (Just) a bare stone. They will be able to do nothing with aught they have earned. And Allah guideth not those who reject faith.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৬৪)
11 নিশ্চয়ই দুটো দলের মোকাবিলার মধ্যে তোমাদের জন্য নিদর্শন ছিল। একটি দল আল্লাহর রাহে যুদ্ধ করে। আর অপর দল ছিল কাফেরদের এরা স্বচক্ষে তাদেরকে দ্বিগুন দেখছিল। আর আল্লাহ যাকে নিজের সাহায্যের মাধ্যমে শক্তি দান করেন। এরই মধ্যে শিক্ষনীয় রয়েছে দৃষ্টি সম্পন্নদের জন্য।
"There has already been for you a Sign in the two armies that met (in combat): One was fighting in the cause of Allah, the other resisting Allah; these saw with their own eyes Twice their number. But Allah doth support with His aid whom He pleaseth. In this is a warning for such as have eyes to see."		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৩)
12 আর এটি পূর্ববর্তী কিতাব সমুহকে সত্যায়ন করে, যেমন তওরাত। আর তা এজন্য যাতে তোমাদের জন্য হালাল করে দেই কোন কোন বস্তু যা তোমাদের জন্য হারাম ছিল। আর আমি তোমাদের নিকট এসেছি তোমাদের পালনকর্তার নিদর্শনসহ। কাজেই আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং আমার অনুসরণ কর।
"'(I have come to you), to attest the Law which was before me. And to make lawful to you part of what was (Before) forbidden to you; I have come to you with a Sign from your Lord. So fear Allah, and obey me.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৫০)
13 তওরাত নাযিল হওয়ার পূর্বে ইয়াকুব যেগুলো নিজেদের জন্য হারাম করে নিয়েছিলেন, সেগুলো ব্যতীত সমস্ত আহার্য বস্তুই বনী-ইসরায়ীলদের জন্য হালাল ছিল। তুমি বলে দাও, তোমরা যদি সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাক। তাহলে তওরাত নিয়ে এসো এবং তা পাঠ কর।
All food was lawful to the Children of Israel, except what Israel Made unlawful for itself, before the Law (of Moses) was revealed. Say: "Bring ye the Law and study it, if ye be men of truth."		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৯৩)
14 এ দুনিয়ার জীবনে যা কিছু ব্যয় করা হয়, তার তুলনা হলো ঝড়ো হাওয়ার মতো, যাতে রয়েছে তুষারের শৈত্য, যা সে জাতির শস্যক্ষেত্রে গিয়ে লেগেছে যারা নিজের জন্য মন্দ করেছে। অতঃপর সেগুলোকে নিঃশেষ করে দিয়েছে। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ তাদের উপর কোন অন্যায় করেননি, কিন্তু তারা নিজেরাই নিজেদের উপর অত্যাচার করছিল।
What they spend in the life of this (material) world May be likened to a wind which brings a nipping frost: It strikes and destroys the harvest of men who have wronged their own souls: it is not Allah that hath wronged them, but they wrong themselves.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১১৭)
15 অতঃপর তোমাদের উপর শোকের পর শান্তি অবতীর্ণ করলেন, যা ছিল তন্দ্রার মত। সে তন্দ্রায় তোমাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ ঝিমোচ্ছিল আর কেউ কেউ প্রাণের ভয়ে ভাবছিল। আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে তাদের মিথ্যা ধারণা হচ্ছিল মুর্খদের মত। তারা বলছিল আমাদের হাতে কি কিছুই করার নেই? তুমি বল, সবকিছুই আল্লাহর হাতে। তারা যা কিছু মনে লুকিয়ে রাখে-তোমার নিকট প্রকাশ করে না সে সবও। তারা বলে আমাদের হাতে যদি কিছু করার থাকতো, তাহলে আমরা এখানে নিহত হতাম না। তুমি বল, তোমরা যদি নিজেদের ঘরেও থাকতে তবুও তারা অবশ্যই বেরিয়ে আসত নিজেদের অবস্থান থেকে যাদের মৃত্যু লিখে দেয়া হয়েছে। তোমাদের বুকে যা রয়েছে তার পরীক্ষা করা ছিল আল্লাহর ইচ্ছা, আর তোমাদের অন্তরে যা কিছু রয়েছে তা পরিষ্কার করা ছিল তাঁর কাম্য। আল্লাহ মনের গোপন বিষয় জানেন।
After (the excitement) of the distress, He sent down calm on a band of you overcome with slumber, while another band was stirred to anxiety by their own feelings, Moved by wrong suspicions of Allah-suspicions due to ignorance. They said: "What affair is this of ours?" Say thou: "Indeed, this affair is wholly Allah's." They hide in their minds what they dare not reveal to thee. They say (to themselves): "If we had had anything to do with this affair, We should not have been in the slaughter here." Say: "Even if you had remained in your homes, those for whom death was decreed would certainly have gone forth to the place of their death"; but (all this was) that Allah might test what is in your breasts and purge what is in your hearts. For Allah knoweth well the secrets of your hearts.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৪)
16 এবং তাদেরকে যাতে সনাক্ত করা যায় যারা মুনাফিক ছিল। আর তাদেরকে বলা হল এসো, আল্লাহর রাহে লড়াই কর কিংবা শত্রুদিগকে প্রতিহত কর। তারা বলেছিল, আমরা যদি জানতাম যে, লড়াই হবে, তাহলে অবশ্যই তোমাদের সাথে থাকতাম। সে দিন তারা ঈমানের তুলনায় কুফরীর কাছাকাছি ছিল। যা তাদের অন্তরে নেই তারা নিজের মুখে সে কথাই বলে বস্তুতঃআল্লাহ ভালভাবে জানেন তারা যা কিছু গোপন করে থাকে।
And the Hypocrites also. These were told: "Come, fight in the way of Allah, or (at least) drive (The foe from your city)." They said: "Had we known how to fight, we should certainly have followed you." They were that day nearer to Unbelief than to Faith, saying with their lips what was not in their hearts but Allah hath full knowledge of all they conceal.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৬৭)
17 আর তারা বলে, আপনার আনুগত্য করি। অতঃপর আপনার নিকট থেকে বেরিয়ে গেলেই তাদের মধ্য থেকে কেউ কেউ পরামর্শ করে রাতের বেলায় সে কথার পরিপন্থী যা তারা আপনার সাথে বলেছিল। আর আল্লাহ লিখে নেন, সে সব পরামর্শ যা তারা করে থাকে। সুতরাং আপনি তাদের ব্যাপারে নিস্পৃহতা অবলম্বন করুন এবং ভরসা করুন আল্লাহর উপর, আল্লাহ হলেন যথেষ্ট ও কার্যসম্পাদনকারী।
They have "Obedience" on their lips; but when they leave thee, a section of them Meditate all night on things very different from what thou tellest them. But Allah records their nightly (plots): So keep clear of them, and put thy trust in Allah, and enough is Allah as a disposer of affairs.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৮১)
18 যদি আপনার প্রতি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ ও করুণা না হত, তবে তাদের একদল আপনাকে পথভ্রষ্ট করার সংকল্প করেই ফেলেছিল। তারা পথভ্রান্ত করতে পারে না কিন্তু নিজেদেরকেই এবং আপনার কোন অনিষ্ট করতে পারে না। আল্লাহ আপনার প্রতি ঐশী গ্রন্থ ও প্রজ্ঞা অবতীর্ণ করেছেন এবং আপনাকে এমন বিষয় শিক্ষা দিয়েছেন, যা আপনি জানতেন না। আপনার প্রতি আল্লাহর করুণা অসীম।
But for the Grace of Allah to thee and his Mercy, a party of them would certainly have plotted to lead thee astray. But (in fact) they will only Lead their own souls astray, and to thee they can do no harm in the least. For Allah hath sent down to thee the Book and wisdom and taught thee what thou Knewest not (before): And great is the Grace of Allah unto thee.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১১৩)
19 আর তাদের একথা বলার কারণে যে, আমরা মরিয়ম পুত্র ঈসা মসীহকে হত্যা করেছি যিনি ছিলেন আল্লাহর রসূল। অথচ তারা না তাঁকে হত্যা করেছে, আর না শুলীতে চড়িয়েছে, বরং তারা এরূপ ধাঁধায় পতিত হয়েছিল। বস্তুতঃ তারা এ ব্যাপারে নানা রকম কথা বলে, তারা এক্ষেত্রে সন্দেহের মাঝে পড়ে আছে, শুধুমাত্র অনুমান করা ছাড়া তারা এ বিষয়ে কোন খবরই রাখে না। আর নিশ্চয়ই তাঁকে তারা হত্যা করেনি।
That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৭)
20 এরূপ কথা বার্তা তোমাদের পুর্বে এক সম্প্রদায় জিজ্ঞেস করেছিল। এর পর তারা এসব বিষয়ে অবিশ্বাসী হয়ে গেল।
Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account lost their faith.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১০২)
21 এবং তারা ইতি পূর্বে যা গোপন করত, তা তাদের সামনে প্রকাশ হয়ে পড়েছে। যদি তারা পুনঃ প্রেরিত হয়, তবুও তাই করবে, যা তাদেরকে নিষেধ করা হয়েছিল। নিশ্চয় তারা মিথ্যাবাদী।
Yea, in their own (eyes) will become manifest what before they concealed. But if they were returned, they would certainly relapse to the things they were forbidden, for they are indeed liars.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ২৮)
22 অতঃপর তাদের কাছে যখন আমার আযাব আসল, তখন কেন কাকুতি-মিনতি করল না ? বস্তুতঃ তাদের অন্তর কঠোর হয়ে গেল এবং শয়তান তাদের কাছে সুশোভিত করে দেখাল, যে কাজ তারা করছিল।
When the suffering reached them from us, why then did they not learn humility? On the contrary their hearts became hardened, and Satan made their (sinful) acts seem alluring to them.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৪৩)
23 আর ও যাকারিয়া, ইয়াহিয়া, ঈসা এবং ইলিয়াসকে। তারা সবাই পুণ্যবানদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিল।
And Zakariya and John, and Jesus and Elias: all in the ranks of the righteous:		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৮৫)
24 হে জ্বিন ও মানব সম্প্রদায়, তোমাদের কাছে কি তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে পয়গম্বরগণ আগমন করেনি? যাঁরা তোমাদেরকে আমার বিধানাবলী বর্ণনা করতেন এবং তোমাদেরকে আজকের এ দিনের সাক্ষাতের ভীতি প্রদর্শন করতেন? তারা বলবেঃ আমরা স্বীয় গোনাহ স্বীকার করে নিলাম। পার্থিব জীবন তাদেরকে প্রতারিত করেছে। তারা নিজেদের বিরুদ্ধে স্বীকার করে নিয়েছে যে, তারা কাফের ছিল।
"O ye assembly of Jinns and men! came there not unto you messengers from amongst you, setting forth unto you My signs, and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say: "We bear witness against ourselves." It was the life of this world that deceived them. So against themselves will they bear witness that they rejected Faith.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৩০)
25 অতঃপর ঐ ব্যক্তির চাইতে অধিক জালেম কে, যে আল্লাহর প্রতি মিথ্যা আরোপ করে অথবা তার নির্দেশাবলীকে মিথ্যা বলে? তারা তাদের গ্রন্থে লিখিত অংশ পেয়ে যাবে। এমন কি, যখন তাদের কাছে আমার প্রেরিত ফেরশতারা প্রাণ নেওয়ার জন্যে পৌছে, তখন তারা বলে; তারা কোথায় গেল, যাদের কে তোমরা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত আহবান করতে? তারা উত্তর দেবেঃ আমাদের কাছ থেকে উধাও হয়ে গেছে, তারা নিজেদের সম্পর্কে স্বীকার করবে যে, তারা অবশ্যই কাফের ছিল।
Who is more unjust than one who invents a lie against Allah or rejects His Signs? For such, their portion appointed must reach them from the Book (of decrees): until, when our messengers (of death) arrive and take their souls, they say: "Where are the things that ye used to invoke besides Allah?" They will reply, "They have left us in the lurch," And they will bear witness against themselves, that they had rejected Allah.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৭)
26 আল্লাহ বলবেনঃ তোমাদের পূর্বে জিন ও মানবের যেসব সম্প্রদায় চলে গেছে, তাদের সাথে তোমরাও দোযখে যাও। যখন এক সম্প্রদায় প্রবেশ করবে; তখন অন্য সম্প্রদায়কে অভিসম্পাত করবে। এমনকি, যখন তাতে সবাই পতিত হবে, তখন পরবর্তীরা পূর্ববর্তীদের সম্পর্কে বলবেঃ হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক এরাই আমাদেরকে বিপথগামী করেছিল। অতএব, আপনি তাদেরকে দ্বিগুণ শাস্তি দিন। আল্লাহ বলবেন প্রত্যেকেরই দ্বিগুণ; তোমরা জান না।
He will say: "Enter ye in the company of the peoples who passed away before you - men and jinns, - into the Fire." Every time a new people enters, it curses its sister-people (that went before), until they follow each other, all into the Fire. Saith the last about the first: "Our Lord! it is these that misled us: so give them a double penalty in the Fire." He will say: "Doubled for all": but this ye do not understand.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৮)
27 যারা আল্লাহর পথে বাধা দিত এবং তাতে বক্রতা অন্বেষণ করত। তারা পরকালের বিষয়েও অবিশ্বাসী ছিল।
"Those who would hinder (men) from the path of Allah and would seek in it something crooked: they were those who denied the Hereafter."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৫)
28 তারা স্বীয় ধর্মকে তামাশা ও খেলা বানিয়ে নিয়েছিল এবং পার্থিব জীবন তাদের কে ধোকায় ফেলে রেখেছিল। অতএব, আমি আজকে তাদেরকে ভুলে যাব; যেমন তারা এ দিনের সাক্ষাৎকে ভুলে গিয়েছিল এবং যেমন তারা আয়াতসমূহকে অবিশ্বাস করত।
"Such as took their religion to be mere amusement and play, and were deceived by the life of the world." That day shall We forget them as they forgot the meeting of this day of theirs, and as they were wont to reject Our signs.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৫১)
29 অতঃপর আমি তাকে ও তাঁর পরিবার পরিজনকে বাঁচিয়ে দিলাম, কিন্তু তার স্ত্রী। সে তাদের মধ্যেই রয়ে গেল, যারা রয়ে গিয়েছিল। আমি তাদের উপর প্রস্তর বৃষ্টি বর্ষণ করলাম।
But we saved him and his family, except his wife: she was of those who legged behind.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৮৩)
30 সুতরাং এভাবে প্রকাশ হয়ে গেল সত্য বিষয় এবং ভুল প্রতিপন্ন হয়ে গেল যা কিছু তারা করেছিল।
Thus truth was confirmed, and all that they did was made of no effect.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১১৮)
31 সুতরাং আমি তাদের কাছে থেকে বদলা নিয়ে নিলাম-বস্তুতঃ তাদেরকে সাগরে ডুবিয়ে দিলাম। কারণ, তারা মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করেছিল আমার নিদর্শনসমূহকে এবং তৎপ্রতি অনীহা প্রদর্শন করেছিল।
So We exacted retribution from them: We drowned them in the sea, because they rejected Our Signs and failed to take warning from them.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৬)
32 আর যাদেরকে দুর্বল মনে করা হত তাদেরকেও আমি উত্তরাধিকার দান করেছি এ ভুখন্ডের পূর্ব ও পশ্চিম অঞ্চলের যাতে আমি বরকত সন্নিহিত রেখেছি এবং পরিপূর্ণ হয়ে গেছে তোমার পালনকর্তার প্রতিশ্রুত কল্যাণ বনী-ইসরাঈলদের জন্য তাদের ধৈর্য্যধারণের দরুন। আর ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছে সে সবকিছু যা তৈরী করেছিল ফেরাউন ও তার সম্প্রদায় এবং ধ্বংস করেছি যা কিছু তারা সুউচ্চ নির্মাণ করেছিল।
And We made a people, considered weak (and of no account), inheritors of lands in both east and west, - lands whereon We sent down Our blessings. The fair promise of thy Lord was fulfilled for the Children of Israel, because they had patience and constancy, and We levelled to the ground the great works and fine buildings which Pharaoh and his people erected (with such pride).		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৭)
33 বস্তুতঃ আমি সাগর পার করে দিয়েছি বনী-ইসরাঈলদিগকে। তখন তারা এমন এক সম্প্রদায়ের কাছে গিয়ে পৌছাল, যারা স্বহস্তনির্মিত মূর্তিপুজায় নিয়োজিত ছিল। তারা বলতে লাগল, হে মূসা; আমাদের উপাসনার জন্যও তাদের মূর্তির মতই একটি মূর্তি নির্মাণ করে দিন। তিনি বললেন, তোমাদের মধ্যে বড়ই অজ্ঞতা রয়েছে।
We took the Children of Israel (with safety) across the sea. They came upon a people devoted entirely to some idols they had. They said: "O Moses! fashion for us a god like unto the gods they have." He said: "Surely ye are a people without knowledge.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৮)
34 তারপর যখন মূসা নিজ সম্প্রদায়ে ফিরে এলেন রাগাম্বিত ও অনুতপ্ত অবস্থায়, তখন বললেন, আমার অনুপস্থিতিতে তোমরা আমার কি নিকৃষ্ট প্রতিনিধিত্বটাই না করেছ। তোমরা নিজ পরওয়ারদেগারের হুকুম থেকে কি তাড়াহুড়া করে ফেললে এবং সে তখতীগুলো ছুঁড়ে ফেলে দিলেন এবং নিজের ভাইয়ের মাথার চুল চেপে ধরে নিজের দিকে টানতে লাগলেন। ভাই বললেন, হে আমার মায়ের পুত্র, লোকগুলো যে আমাকে দুর্বল মনে করল এবং আমাকে যে মেরে ফেলার উপক্রম করেছিল। সুতরাং আমার উপর আর শত্রুদের হাসিও না। আর আমাকে জালিমদের সারিতে গন্য করো না।
When Moses came back to his people, angry and grieved, he said: "Evil it is that ye have done in my place in my absence: did ye make haste to bring on the judgment of your Lord?" He put down the tablets, seized his brother by (the hair of) his head, and dragged him to him. Aaron said: "Son of my mother! the people did indeed reckon me as naught, and went near to slaying me! Make not the enemies rejoice over my misfortune, nor count thou me amongst the people of sin."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৫০)
35 সেসমস্ত লোক, যারা আনুগত্য অবলম্বন করে এ রসূলের, যিনি উম্মী নবী, যাঁর সম্পর্কে তারা নিজেদের কাছে রক্ষিত তওরাত ও ইঞ্জিলে লেখা দেখতে পায়, তিনি তাদেরকে নির্দেশ দেন সৎকর্মের, বারণ করেন অসৎকর্ম থেকে; তাদের জন্য যাবতীয় পবিত্র বস্তু হালাল ঘোষনা করেন ও নিষিদ্ধ করেন হারাম বস্তুসমূহ এবং তাদের উপর থেকে সে বোঝা নামিয়ে দেন এবং বন্দীত্ব অপসারণ করেন যা তাদের উপর বিদ্যমান ছিল। সুতরাং যেসব লোক তাঁর উপর ঈমান এনেছে, তাঁর সাহচর্য অবলম্বন করেছে, তাঁকে সাহায্য করেছে এবং সে নূরের অনুসরণ করেছে যা তার সাথে অবতীর্ণ করা হয়েছে, শুধুমাত্র তারাই নিজেদের উদ্দেশ্য সফলতা অর্জন করতে পেরেছে।
"Those who follow the messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the law and the Gospel;- for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honour him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৭)
36 অনন্তর জালেমরা এতে অন্য শব্দ বদলে দিল তার পরিবর্তে, যা তাদেরকে বলা হয়েছিল। সুতরাং আমি তাদের উপর আযাব পাঠিয়েছি আসমান থেকে তাদের অপকর্মের কারণে।
But the transgressors among them changed the word from that which had been given them so we sent on them a plague from heaven. For that they repeatedly transgressed.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৬২)
37 আর যখন তোমরা ছিলে সমরাঙ্গনের এ প্রান্তে আর তারা ছিল সে প্রান্তে অথচ কাফেলা তোমাদের থেকে নীচে নেমে গিয়েছিল। এমতাবস্থায় যদি তোমরা পারস্পরিক অঙ্গীকারাবদ্ধ হতে, তবে তোমরা এক সঙ্গে সে ওয়াদা পালন করতে পারতে না। কিন্তু আল্লাহ তা’আলা এমন এক কাজ করতে চেয়েছিলেন, যা নির্ধারিত হয়ে গিয়েছিল যাতে সে সব লোক নিহত হওয়ার ছিল, প্রমাণ প্রতিষ্ঠার পর এবং যাদের বাঁচার ছিল, তারা বেঁচে থাকে প্রমাণ প্রতিষ্ঠার পর। আর নিশ্চিতই আল্লাহ শ্রবণকারী, বিজ্ঞ।
Remember ye were on the hither side of the valley, and they on the farther side, and the caravan on lower ground than ye. Even if ye had made a mutual appointment to meet, ye would certainly have failed in the appointment: But (thus ye met), that Allah might accomplish a matter already enacted; that those who died might die after a clear Sign (had been given), and those who lived might live after a Clear Sign (had been given). And verily Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things).		 (আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৪২)
38 আল্লাহ তোমাদের সাহায্য করেছেন অনেক ক্ষেত্রে এবং হোনাইনের দিনে, যখন তোমাদের সংখ্যধিক্য তোমাদের প্রফুল্ল করেছিল, কিন্তু তা তোমাদের কোন কাজে আসেনি এবং পৃথিবী প্রশস্ত হওয়া সত্তেও তোমাদের জন্য সংকুচিত হয়েছিল। অতঃপর পৃষ্ঠ প্রদর্শন করে পলায়ন করেছিলে।
Assuredly Allah did help you in many battle-fields and on the day of Hunain: Behold! your great numbers elated you, but they availed you naught: the land, for all that it is wide, did constrain you, and ye turned back in retreat.		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৫)
39 তারা পূর্বে থেকেই বিভেদ সৃষ্টির সুযোগ সন্ধানে ছিল এবং আপনার কার্যসমূহ উল্টা-পাল্টা করে দিচ্ছিল। শেষ পর্যন্ত সত্য প্রতিশ্রুতি এসে গেল এবং জয়ী হল আল্লাহর হুকুম, যে অবস্থায় তারা মন্দবোধ করল।
Indeed they had plotted sedition before, and upset matters for thee, until,- the Truth arrived, and the Decree of Allah became manifest much to their disgust.		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৮)
40 আর ছলনাকারী বেদুঈন লোকেরা এলো, যাতে তাদের অব্যাহতি লাভ হতে পারে এবং নিবৃত্ত থাকতে পারে তাদেরই যারা আল্লাহ ও রসূলের সাথে মিথ্যা বলে ছিল। এবার তাদের উপর শীগ্রই আসবে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব যারা কাফের।
And there were, among the desert Arabs (also), men who made excuses and came to claim exemption; and those who were false to Allah and His Messenger (merely) sat inactive. Soon will a grievous penalty seize the Unbelievers among them.		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৯০)
41 আল্লাহ দয়াশীল নবীর প্রতি এবং মুহাজির ও আনসারদের প্রতি, যারা কঠিন মহূর্তে নবীর সঙ্গে ছিল, যখন তাদের এক দলের অন্তর ফিরে যাওয়ার উপক্রম হয়েছিল। অতঃপর তিনি দয়াপরবশ হন তাদের প্রতি। নিঃসন্দেহে তিনি তাদের প্রতি দয়াশীল ও করুনাময়।
Allah turned with favour to the Prophet, the Muhajirs, and the Ansar,- who followed him in a time of distress, after that the hearts of a part of them had nearly swerved (from duty); but He turned to them (also): for He is unto them Most Kind, Most Merciful.		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১১৭)
42 তাঁর কাছেই ফিরে যেতে হবে তোমাদের সবাইকে, আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য, তিনিই সৃষ্টি করেন প্রথমবার আবার পুনর্বার তৈরী করবেন তাদেরকে বদলা দেয়ার জন্য যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং নেক কাজ করেছে ইনসাফের সাথে। আর যারা কাফের হয়েছে, তাদের পান করতে হবে ফুটন্ত পানি এবং ভোগ করতে হবে যন্ত্রনাদায়ক আযাব এ জন্যে যে, তারা কুফরী করছিল।
To Him will be your return- of all of you. The promise of Allah is true and sure. It is He Who beginneth the process of creation, and repeateth it, that He may reward with justice those who believe and work righteousness; but those who reject Him will have draughts of boiling fluids, and a penalty grievous, because they did reject Him.		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৪)
43 এমন লোকদের ঠিকানা হল আগুন সেসবের বদলা হিসাবে যা তারা অর্জন করছিল।
Their abode is the Fire, because of the (evil) they earned.		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৮)
44 তারপরও এরা মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করল। সুতরাং তাকে এবং তার সাথে নৌকায় যারা ছিল তাদের কে বাঁচিয়ে নিয়েছি এবং যথাস্থানে আবাদ করেছি। আর তাদেরকে ডুবিয়ে দিয়েছি যারা আমার কথাকে মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করেছে। সুতরাং লক্ষ্য কর, কেমন পরিণতি ঘটেছে তাদের যাদেরকে ভীতি প্রদর্শন করা হয়েছিল।
They rejected Him, but We delivered him, and those with him, in the Ark, and We made them inherit (the earth), while We overwhelmed in the flood those who rejected Our Signs. Then see what was the end of those who were warned (but heeded not)!		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৭৩)
45 অনন্তর আমি নূহের পরে বহু নবী-রসূল পাঠিয়েছি তাদের সম্প্রদায়ের প্রতি। তারপর তাদের কাছে তারা প্রকাশ্য দলীল-প্রমাণ উপস্থাপন করেছে, কিন্তু তাদের দ্বারা এমনটি হয়নি যে, ঈমান আনবে সে ব্যাপারে, যাকে তারা ইতিপূর্বে মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করেছিল। এভাবেই আমি মোহর এঁটে দেই সীমালংঘনকারীদের অন্তরসমূহের উপর।
Then after him We sent (many) messengers to their peoples: they brought them Clear Signs, but they would not believe what they had already rejected beforehand. Thus do We seal the hearts of the transgressors.		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৭৪)
46 আর কেউ ঈমান আনল না মূসার প্রতি তাঁর কওমের কতিপয় বালক ছাড়া-ফেরাউন ও তার সর্দারদের ভয়ে যে, এরা না আবার কোন বিপদে ফেলে দেয়। ফেরাউন দেশময় কর্তꦣ2499;ত্বের শিখরে আরোহণ করেছিল। আর সে তার হাত ছেড়ে রেখেছিল।
But none believed in Moses except some children of his people, because of the fear of Pharaoh and his chiefs, lest they should persecute them; and certainly Pharaoh was mighty on the earth and one who transgressed all bounds.		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৮৩)
47 আর তাদের চেয়ে বড় যালেম কে হতে পারে, যারা আল্লাহর প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করে। এসব লোককে তাদের পালনকর্তার সাক্ষাত সম্মূখীন করা হবে আর সাক্ষিগণ বলতে থাকবে, এরাই ঐসব লোক, যারা তাদের পালনকর্তার প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল। শুনে রাখ, যালেমদের উপর আল্লাহর অভিসম্পাত রয়েছে।
Who doth more wrong than those who invent a life against Allah? They will be turned back to the presence of their Lord, and the witnesses will say, "These are the ones who lied against their Lord! Behold! the Curse of Allah is on those who do wrong!-		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ১৮)
48 অবশেষে যখন আমার হুকুম এসে পৌঁছাল এবং ভুপৃষ্ঠ উচ্ছসিত হয়ে উঠল, আমি বললামঃ সর্বপ্রকার জোড়ার দুটি করে এবং যাদের উপরে পূর্বহেߦ#2439; হুকুম হয়ে গেছে তাদের বাদি দিয়ে, আপনার পরিজনবর্গ ও সকল ঈমানদারগণকে নৌকায় তুলে নিন। বলাবাহুল্য অতি অল্পসংখ্যক লোকই তাঁর সাথে ঈমান এনেছিল।
At length, behold! there came Our command, and the fountains of the earth gushed forth! We said: "Embark therein, of each kind two, male and female, and your family - except those against whom the word has already gone forth,- and the Believers." but only a few believed with him.		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৪০)
49 তারা বলল-হে সালেহ, ইতিপূর্বে তোমার কাছে আমাদের বড় আশা ছিল। আমাদের বাপ-দাদা যা পূজা করত তুমি কি আমাদেরকে তার পূজা করতে নিষেধ কর? কিন্তু যার প্রতি তুমি আমাদের আহবান জানাচ্ছ আমাদের তাতে এমন সন্দেহ রয়েছে যে, মন মোটেই সায় দিচ্ছে না।
They said: "O Salih! thou hast been of us! a centre of our hopes hitherto! dost thou (now) forbid us the worship of what our fathers worshipped? But we are really in suspicious (disquieting) doubt as to that to which thou invitest us."		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৬২)
50 যেন তাঁরা কোনদিনই সেখানে ছিল না। জেনে রাখ, নিশ্চয় সামুদ জাতি তাদের পালনকর্তার প্রতি অস্বীকার করেছিল। আরো শুনে রাখ, সামুদ জাতির জন্য অভিশাপ রয়েছে।
As if they had never dwelt and flourished there. Ah! Behold! for the Thamud rejected their Lord and Cherisher! Ah! Behold! removed (from sight) were the Thamud!		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৮)
51 আর তাঁর কওমের লোকেরা স্বতঃস্ফুর্তভাবে তার (গৃহ) পানে ছুটে আসতে লাগল। পূর্ব থেকেই তারা কু-কর্মে তৎপর ছিল। লূত (আঃ) বললেন-হে আমার কওম, এ আমার কন্যারা রয়েছে, এরা তোমাদের জন্য অধিক পবিত্রতমা। সুতরাং তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং অতিথিদের ব্যাপারে আমাকে লজ্জিত করো না, তোমাদের মধ্যে কি কোন ভাল মানুষ নেই।
And his people came rushing towards him, and they had been long in the habit of practising abominations. He said: "O my people! Here are my daughters: they are purer for you (if ye marry)! Now fear Allah, and cover me not with shame about my guests! Is there not among you a single right-minded man?"		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৮)
52 যার প্রতিটি তোমার পালনকর্তার নিকট চিহ্নিত ছিল। আর সেই পাপিষ্ঠদের থেকে খুব দূরেও নয়।
Marked as from thy Lord: Nor are they ever far from those who do wrong!		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৮৩)
53 কাজেই, তোমাদের পূর্ববতী জাতি গুলির মধ্যে এমন সৎকর্মশীল কেন রইল না, যারা পৃথিবীতে বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টি করতে বাধা দিত; তবে মুষ্টিমেয় লোক ছিল যাদেরকে আমি তাদের মধ্য হতে রক্ষা করেছি। আর পাপিষ্ঠরা তো ভোগ বিলাসে মত্ত ছিল যার সামগ্রী তাদেরকে যথেষ্ট দেয়া হয়েছিল। আসলে তারা ছিল মহা অপরাধী।
Why were there not, among the generations before you, persons possessed of balanced good sense, prohibiting (men) from mischief in the earth - except a few among them whom We saved (from harm)? But the wrong-doers pursued the enjoyment of the good things of life which were given them, and persisted in sin.		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ১১৬)
54 এবং একটি কাফেলা এল। অতঃপর তাদের পানি সংগ্রাহককে প্রেরণ করল। সে বালতি ফেলল। বললঃ কি আনন্দের কথা। এ তো একটি কিশোর তারা তাকে পন্যদ্রব্য গণ্য করে গোপন করে ফেলল। আল্লাহ খুব জানেন যা কিছু তারা করেছিল।
Then there came a caravan of travellers: they sent their water-carrier (for water), and he let down his bucket (into the well)... He said: "Ah there! Good news! Here is a (fine) young man!" So they concealed him as a treasure! But Allah knoweth well all that they do!		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৯)
55 ওরা তাকে কম মূল্যে বিক্রি করে দিল গনাগুণতি কয়েক দেরহাম এবং তাঁর ব্যাপারে নিরাসক্ত ছিল।
The (Brethren) sold him for a miserable price, for a few dirhams counted out: in such low estimation did they hold him!		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
56 তারা বলতে লাগলঃ যদি সে চুরি করে থাকে, তবে তার এক ভাইও ইতিপূর্বে চুরি করেছিল। তখন ইউসুফ প্রকৃত ব্যাপার নিজের মনে রাখলেন এবং তাদেরকে জানালেন না। মনে মনে বললেনঃ তোমরা লোক হিসাবে নিতান্ত মন্দ এবং আল্লাহ খুব জ্ঞাত রয়েছেন, যা তোমরা বর্ণনা করছ;
They said: "If he steals, there was a brother of his who did steal before (him)." But these things did Joseph keep locked in his heart, revealing not the secrets to them. He (simply) said (to himself): "Ye are the worse situated; and Allah knoweth best the truth of what ye assert!"		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৭)
57 এগুলো অদৃশ্যের খবর, আমি আপনার কাছে প্রেরণ করি। আপনি তাদের কাছে ছিলেন না, যখন তারা স্বীয় কাজ সাব্যস্ত করছিল এবং চক্রান্ত করছিল।
Such is one of the stories of what happened unseen, which We reveal by inspiration unto thee; nor wast thou (present) with them then when they concerted their plans together in the process of weaving their plots.		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ১০২)
58 যখন মূসা স্বজাতিকে বললেনঃ তোমাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ স্মরণ কর যখন তিনি তোমাদেরকে ফেরাউনের সম্প্রদায়ের কবল থেকে মুক্তি দেন। তারা তোমাদেরকে অত্যন্ত নিকৃষ্ট ধরনের শাস্তি দিত, তোমাদের ছেলেদেরকে হত্যা করত এবং তোমাদের মেয়েদেরকে জীবিত রাখত। এবং এতে তোমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে বিরাট পরীক্ষা হয়েছিল।
Remember! Moses said to his people: "Call to mind the favour of Allah to you when He delivered you from the people of Pharaoh: they set you hard tasks and punishments, slaughtered your sons, and let your women-folk live: therein was a tremendous trial from your Lord."		 (ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ৬)
59 আমি কোন জনপদ ধবংস করিনি; কিন্ত তার নির্দিষ্ট সময় লিখিত ছিল।
Never did We destroy a population that had not a term decreed and assigned beforehand.		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ৪)
60 আপনার প্রাণের কসম, তারা আপন নেশায় প্রমত্ত ছিল।
Verily, by thy life (O Prophet), in their wild intoxication, they wander in distraction, to and fro.		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ৭২)
61 নিশ্চয় গহীন বনের অধিবাসীরা পাপী ছিল।
And the Companions of the Wood were also wrong-doers;		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ৭৮)
62 তখন কোন উপকারে আসল না যা তারা উপার্জন করেছিল।
And of no avail to them was all that they did (with such art and care)!		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ৮৪)
63 কাফেররা কি এখন অপেক্ষা করছে যে, তাদের কাছে ফেরেশতারা আসবে কিংবা আপনার পালনকর্তার নির্দেশ পৌছবে? তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা এমনই করেছিল। আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি অবিচার করেননি; কিন্তু তারা স্বয়ং নিজেদের প্রতি জুলুম করেছিল।
Do the (ungodly) wait until the angels come to them, or there comes the Command of thy Lord (for their doom)? So did those who went before them. But Allah wronged them not: nay, they wronged their own souls.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩)
64 তিনি পুনরুজ্জীবিত করবেনই, যাতে যে বিষয়ে তাদের মধ্যে মতানৈক্য ছিল তা প্রকাশ করা যায় এবং যাতে কাফেরেরা জেনে নেয় যে, তারা মিথ্যাবাদী ছিল।
(They must be raised up), in order that He may manifest to them the truth of that wherein they differ, and that the rejecters of Truth may realise that they had indeed (surrendered to) Falsehood.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৩৯)
65 শনিবার দিন পালন যে, নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছিল, তা তাদের জন্যেই যারা এতে মতবিরোধ করেছিল। আপনার পালনকর্তা কিয়ামতের দিন তাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা করবেন যে বিষয়ে তারা মতবিরোধ করত।
The Sabbath was only made (strict) for those who disagreed (as to its observance); But Allah will judge between them on the Day of Judgment, as to their differences.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ১২৪)
66 অতঃপর যখন প্রতিশ্রুতি সেই প্রথম সময়টি এল, তখন আমি তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে প্রেরণ করলাম আমার কঠোর যোদ্ধা বান্দাদেরকে। অতঃপর তারা প্রতিটি জনপদের আনাচে-কানাচে পর্যন্ত ছড়িয়ে পড়ল। এ ওয়াদা পূর্ণ হওয়ারই ছিল।
When the first of the warnings came to pass, We sent against you Our servants given to terrible warfare: They entered the very inmost parts of your homes; and it was a warning (completely) fulfilled.		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৫)
67 পূর্ববর্তীগণ কতৃꦣ2453; নিদর্শন অস্বীকার করার ফলেই আমাকে নিদর্শনাবলী প্রেরণ থেকে বিরত থাকতে হয়েছে। আমি তাদেরকে বোঝাবার জন্যে সামুদকে উষ্ট্রী দিয়েছিলাম। অতঃপর তারা তার প্রতি জুলুম করেছিল। আমি ভীতি প্রদর্শনের উদ্দেশেই নিদর্শন প্রেরণ করি।
And We refrain from sending the signs, only because the men of former generations treated them as false: We sent the she-camel to the Thamud to open their eyes, but they treated her wrongfully: We only send the Signs by way of terror (and warning from evil).		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৫৯)
68 আপনার পূর্বে আমি যত রসূল প্রেরণ করেছি, তাদের ক্ষেত্রেও এরূপ নিয়ম ছিল। আপনি আমার নিয়মের কোন ব্যতিক্রম পাবেন না।
(This was Our) way with the messengers We sent before thee: thou wilt find no change in Our ways.		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৭৭)
69 বলুনঃ সত্য এসেছে এবং মিথ্যা বিলুপ্ত হয়েছে। নিশ্চয় মিথ্যা বিলুপ্ত হওয়ারই ছিল।
And say: "Truth has (now) arrived, and Falsehood perished: for Falsehood is (by its nature) bound to perish."		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৮১)
70 আমি তাদের মন দৃঢ় করেছিলাম, যখন তারা উঠে দাঁড়িয়েছিল। অতঃপর তারা বললঃ আমাদের পালনকর্তা আসমান ও যমীনের পালনকর্তা আমরা কখনও তার পরিবর্তে অন্য কোন উপাস্যকে আহবান করব না। যদি করি, তবে তা অত্যন্ত গর্হিত কাজ হবে।
We gave strength to their hearts: Behold, they stood up and said: "Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and of the earth: never shall we call upon any god other than Him: if we did, we should indeed have uttered an enormity!		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
71 অতঃপর তার সব ফল ধ্বংস হয়ে গেল এবং সে তাতে যা ব্যয় করেছিল, তার জন্য সকালে হাত কচলিয়ে আক্ষেপ করতে লাগল। বাগনটি কাঠসহ পুড়ে গিয়েছিল। সে বলতে লাগলঃ হায়, আমি যদি কাউকে আমার পালনকর্তার সাথে শরীক না করতাম।
So his fruits (and enjoyment) were encompassed (with ruin), and he remained twisting and turning his hands over what he had spent on his property, which had (now) tumbled to pieces to its very foundations, and he could only say, "Woe is me! Would I had never ascribed partners to my Lord and Cherisher!"		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪২)
72 সে বললঃ আপনি কি লক্ষ্য করেছেন, আমরা যখন প্রস্তর খন্ডে আশ্রয় নিয়েছিলাম, তখন আমি মাছের কথা ভুলে গিয়েছিলাম। শয়তানই আমাকে একথা স্মরণ রাখতে ভুলিয়ে দিয়েছিল। মাছটি আশ্চর্য জনক ভাবে সমুদ্রে নিজের পথ করে নিয়েছে।
He replied: "Sawest thou (what happened) when we betook ourselves to the rock? I did indeed forget (about) the Fish: none but Satan made me forget to tell (you) about it: it took its course through the sea in a marvellous way!"		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৩)
73 তাদের পূর্বে কত মানব গোষ্ঠীকে আমি বিনাশ করেছি, তারা তাদের চাইতে সম্পদে ও জাঁক-জমকে শ্রেষ্ঠ ছিল।
But how many (countless) generations before them have we destroyed, who were even better in equipment and in glitter to the eye?		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৭৪)
74 তারা বললঃ আমরা তোমার সাথে কৃত ওয়াদা স্বেচ্ছায় ভঙ্গ করিনি; কিন্তু আমাদের উপর ফেরউনীদের অলংকারের বোঝা চাপিয়ে দেয়া হয়েছিল। অতঃপর আমরা তা নিক্ষেপ করে দিয়েছি। এমনি ভাবে সামেরীও নিক্ষেপ করেছে।
They said: "We broke not the promise to thee, as far as lay in our power: but we were made to carry the weight of the ornaments of the (whole) people, and we threw them (into the fire), and that was what the Samiri suggested.		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৮৭)
75 অতঃপর সে তাদের জন্য তৈরী করে বের করল একটি গো-বৎস, একটা দেহ, যার মধ্যে গরুর শব্দ ছিল। তারা বললঃ এটা তোমাদের উপাস্য এবং মূসার ও উপাস্য, অতঃপর মূসা ভুলে গেছে।
"Then he brought out (of the fire) before the (people) the image of a calf: It seemed to low: so they said: This is your god, and the god of Moses, but (Moses) has forgotten!"		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৮৮)
76 বরং আমি তাদেরকে এবং তাদের বাপ-দাদাকে ভোগসম্বার দিয়েছিলাম, এমনকি তাদের আয়ুস্কালও দীর্ঘ হয়েছিল। তারা কি দেখে না যে, আমি তাদের দেশকে চতুর্দিক থেকে হ্রাস করে আনছি। এরপরও কি তারা বিজয়ী হবে?
Nay, We gave the good things of this life to these men and their fathers until the period grew long for them; See they not that We gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders? Is it then they who will win?		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
77 আমি তাঁদেরকে নেতা করলাম। তাঁরা আমার নির্দেশ অনুসারে পথ প্রদর্শন করতেন। আমি তাঁদের প্রতি ওহী নাযিল করলাম সৎকর্ম করার, নামায কায়েম করার এবং যাকাত দান করার। তাঁরা আমার এবাদতে ব্যাপৃত ছিল।
And We made them leaders, guiding (men) by Our Command, and We sent them inspiration to do good deeds, to establish regular prayers, and to practise regular charity; and they constantly served Us (and Us only).		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৭৩)
78 এবং আমি লূতকে দিয়েছিলাম প্রজ্ঞা ও জ্ঞান এবং তাঁকে ঐ জনপদ থেকে উদ্ধার করেছিলাম, যারা নোংরা কাজে লিপ্ত ছিল। তারা মন্দ ও নাফরমান সম্প্রদায় ছিল।
And to Lut, too, We gave Judgment and Knowledge, and We saved him from the town which practised abominations: truly they were a people given to Evil, a rebellious people.		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৭৪)
79 এবং আমি তাঁকে ঐ সম্প্রদায়ের বিপক্ষে সাহায্য করেছিলাম, যারা আমার নিদর্শনাবলীকে অস্বীকার করেছিল। নিশ্চয়, তারা ছিল এক মন্দ সম্প্রদায়। অতঃপর আমি তাদের সবাইকে নিমজ্জত করেছিলাম।
We helped him against people who rejected Our Signs: truly they were a people given to Evil: so We drowned them (in the Flood) all together.		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৭৭)
80 এবং স্মরণ করুন দাউদ ও সুলায়মানকে, যখন তাঁরা শস্যক্ষেত্র সম্পর্কে বিচার করেছিলেন। তাতে রাত্রিকালে কিছু লোকের মেষ ঢুকে পড়েছিল। তাদের বিচার আমার সম্মুখে ছিল।
And remember David and Solomon, when they gave judgment in the matter of the field into which the sheep of certain people had strayed by night: We did witness their judgment.		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৭৮)
81 মহা ত্রাস তাদেরকে চিন্তান্বিত করবে না এবং ফেরেশতারা তাদেরকে অভ্যর্থনা করবেঃ আজ তোমাদের দিন, যে দিনের ওয়াদা তোমাদেরকে দেয়া হয়েছিল।
The Great Terror will bring them no grief: but the angels will meet them (with mutual greetings): "This is your Day,- (the Day) that ye were promised."		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ১০৩)
82 এবং আমি কত জনপদকে অবকাশ দিয়েছি এমতাবস্থায় যে, তারা গোনাহগার ছিল। এরপর তাদেরকে পাকড়াও করেছি এবং আমার কাছেই প্রত্যাবর্তন করতে হবে।
And to how many populations did I give respite, which were given to wrong-doing? in the end I punished them. To me is the destination (of all).		 (হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৪৮)
83 ফেরআউন ও তার অমাত্যদের কাছে। অতঃপর তারা অহংকার করল এবং তারা উদ্ধত সম্প্রদায় ছিল।
To Pharaoh and his Chiefs: But these behaved insolently: they were an arrogant people.		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৪৬)
84 যখন তোমরা একে মুখে মুখে ছড়াচ্ছিলে এবং মুখে এমন বিষয় উচ্চারণ করছিলে, যার কোন জ্ঞান তোমাদের ছিল না। তোমরা একে তুচ্ছ মনে করছিলে, অথচ এটা আল্লাহর কাছে গুরুতর ব্যাপার ছিল।
Behold, ye received it on your tongues, and said out of your mouths things of which ye had no knowledge; and ye thought it to be a light matter, while it was most serious in the sight of Allah.		 (আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ১৫)
85 আমার কাছে উপদেশ আসার পর সে আমাকে তা থেকে বিভ্রান্ত করেছিল। শয়তান মানুষকে বিপদকালে ধোঁকা দেয়।
"He did lead me astray from the Message (of Allah) after it had come to me! Ah! the Evil One is but a traitor to man!"		 (আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ২৯)
86 আমাদেরকে দুষ্টকর্মীরাই গোমরাহ করেছিল।
"'And our seducers were only those who were steeped in guilt.		 (আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ৯৯)
87 আমি কোন জনপদ ধ্বংস করিনি; কিন্তু এমতাবস্থায় যে, তারা সতর্ককারী ছিল।
Never did We destroy a population, but had its warners -		 (আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ২০৮)
88 তারা অন্যায় ও অহংকার করে নিদর্শনাবলীকে প্রত্যাখ্যান করল, যদিও তাদের অন্তর এগুলো সত্য বলে বিশ্বাস করেছিল। অতএব দেখুন, অনর্থকারীদের পরিণাম কেমন হয়েছিল?
And they rejected those Signs in iniquity and arrogance, though their souls were convinced thereof: so see what was the end of those who acted corruptly!		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
89 আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে সে যার এবাদত করত, সেই তাকে ঈমান থেকে নিবৃত্ত করেছিল। নিশ্চয় সে কাফের সম্প্রদায়ের অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিল।
And he diverted her from the worship of others besides Allah: for she was (sprung) of a people that had no faith.		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৪৩)
90 ফেরাউন তার দেশে উদ্ধত হয়েছিল এবং সে দেশবাসীকে বিভিন্ন দলে বিভক্ত করে তাদের একটি দলকে দূর্বল করে দিয়েছিল। সে তাদের পুত্র-সন্তানদেরকে হত্যা করত এবং নারীদেরকে জীবিত রাখত। নিশ্চয় সে ছিল অনর্থ সৃষ্টিকারী।
Truly Pharaoh elated himself in the land and broke up its people into sections, depressing a small group among them: their sons he slew, but he kept alive their females: for he was indeed a maker of mischief.		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৪)
91 অতঃপর ফেরাউন পরিবার মূসাকে কুড়িয়ে নিল, যাতে তিনি তাদের শত্রু ও দুঃখের কারণ হয়ে যান। নিশ্চয় ফেরাউন, হামান, ও তাদের সৈন্যবাহিনী অপরাধী ছিল।
Then the people of Pharaoh picked him up (from the river): (It was intended) that (Moses) should be to them an adversary and a cause of sorrow: for Pharaoh and Haman and (all) their hosts were men of sin.		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৮)
92 আমি অনেক জনপদ ধবংস করেছি, যার অধিবাসীরা তাদের জীবন যাপনে মদমত্ত ছিল। এগুলোই এখন তাদের ঘর-বাড়ী। তাদের পর এগুলোতে মানুষ সামান্যই বসবাস করেছে। অবশেষে আমিই মালিক রয়েছি।
And how many populations We destroyed, which exulted in their life (of ease and plenty)! now those habitations of theirs, after them, are deserted,- All but a (miserable) few! and We are their heirs!		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৫৮)
93 কারুন ছিল মূসার সম্প্রদায়ভুক্ত। অতঃপর সে তাদের প্রতি দুষ্টামি করতে আরম্ভ করল। আমি তাকে এত ধন-ভান্ডার দান করেছিলাম যার চাবি বহন করা কয়েকজন শক্তিশালী লোকের পক্ষে কষ্টসাধ্য ছিল। যখন তার সম্প্রদায় তাকে বলল, দম্ভ করো না, আল্লাহ দাম্ভিকদেরকে ভালবাসেন না।
Qarun was doubtless, of the people of Moses; but he acted insolently towards them: such were the treasures We had bestowed on him that their very keys would have been a burden to a body of strong men, behold, his people said to him: "Exult not, for Allah loveth not those who exult (in riches).		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৭৬)
94 আমি তাদেরকেও পরীক্ষা করেছি, যারা তাদের পূর্বে ছিল। আল্লাহ অবশ্যই জেনে নেবেন যারা সত্যবাদী এবং নিশ্চয়ই জেনে নেবেন মিথ্যুকদেরকে।
We did test those before them, and Allah will certainly know those who are true from those who are false.		 (আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৩)
95 আমি নূহ (আঃ) কে তাঁর সম্প্রদায়ের কাছে প্রেরণ করেছিলাম। তিনি তাদের মধ্যে পঞ্চাশ কম এক হাজার বছর অবস্থান করেছিলেন। অতঃপর তাদেরকে মহাপ্লাবণ গ্রাস করেছিল। তারা ছিল পাপী।
We (once) sent Noah to his people, and he tarried among them a thousand years less fifty: but the Deluge overwhelmed them while they (persisted in) sin.		 (আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
96 আমি কারুন, ফেরাউন ও হামানকে ধ্বংস করেছি। মূসা তাদের কাছে সুস্পষ্ট নিদর্শনাবলী নিয়ে আগমন করেছিল অতঃপর তারা দেশে দম্ভ করেছিল। কিন্তু তারা জিতে যায়নি।
(Remember also) Qarun, Pharaoh, and Haman: there came to them Moses with Clear Signs, but they behaved with insolence on the earth; yet they could not overreach (Us).		 (আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৩৯)
97 তারা কি পৃথিবীতে ভ্রমণ করে না অতঃপর দেখে না যে; তাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের পরিণাম কি কি হয়েছে? তারা তাদের চাইতে শক্তিশালী ছিল, তারা যমীন চাষ করত এবং তাদের চাইতে বেশী আবাদ করত। তাদের কাছে তাদের রসূলগণ সুস্পষ্ট নির্দেশ নিয়ে এসেছিল। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি জুলুমকারী ছিলেন না। কিন্তু তারা নিজেরাই নিজেদের প্রতি জুলুম করেছিল।
Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those before them? They were superior to them in strength: they tilled the soil and populated it in greater numbers than these have done: there came to them their messengers with Clear (Signs). (Which they rejected, to their own destruction): It was not Allah Who wronged them, but they wronged their own souls.		 (আর-রূম:
আয়াতঃ ৯)
98 তারা প্রথম থেকেই তাদের প্রতি এই বৃষ্টি বর্ষিত হওয়ার পূর্বে নিরাশ ছিল।
Even though, before they received (the rain) - just before this - they were dumb with despair!		 (আর-রূম:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯)
99 তারা সবর করত বিধায় আমি তাদের মধ্য থেকে নেতা মনোনীত করেছিলাম, যারা আমার আদেশে পথ প্রদর্শন করত। তারা আমার আয়াতসমূহে দৃঢ় বিশ্বাসী ছিল।
And We appointed, from among them, leaders, giving guidance under Our command, so long as they persevered with patience and continued to have faith in Our Signs.		 (সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৪)
100 সে সময়ে মুমিনগণ পরীক্ষিত হয়েছিল এবং ভীষণভাবে প্রকম্পিত হচ্ছিল।
In that situation were the Believers tried: they were shaken as by a tremendous shaking.		 (আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
101 তারা আরও বলবে, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আমরা আমাদের নেতা ও বড়দের কথা মেনেছিলাম, অতঃপর তারা আমাদের পথভ্রষ্ট করেছিল।
And they would say: "Our Lord! We obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us as to the (right) Path.		 (আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ৬৭)
102 যখন আমি সোলায়মানের মৃত্যু ঘটালাম, তখন ঘুণ পোকাই জিনদেরকে তাঁর মৃত্যু সম্পর্কে অবহিত করল। সোলায়মানের লাঠি খেয়ে যাচ্ছিল। যখন তিনি মাটিতে পড়ে গেলেন, তখন জিনেরা বুঝতে পারল যে, অদৃশ্য বিষয়ের জ্ঞান থাকলে তারা এই লাঞ্ছনাপূর্ণ শাস্তিতে আবদ্ধ থাকতো না।
Then, when We decreed (Solomon's) death, nothing showed them his death except a little worm of the earth, which kept (slowly) gnawing away at his staff: so when he fell down, the Jinns saw plainly that if they had known the unseen, they would not have tarried in the humiliating Penalty (of their Task).		 (সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
103 অতঃপর তারা বলল, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আমাদের ভ্রমণের পরিসর বাড়িয়ে দাও। তারা নিজেদের প্রতি জুলুম করেছিল। ফলে আমি তাদেরকে উপাখ্যানে পরিণত করলাম এবং সম্পূর্ণরূপে ছিন্ন-বিচ্ছিন্ন করে দিলাম। নিশ্চয় এতে প্রত্যেক ধৈর্যশীল কৃতজ্ঞের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।
But they said: "Our Lord! Place longer distances between our journey-stages": but they wronged themselves (therein). At length We made them as a tale (that is told), and We dispersed them all in scattered fragments. Verily in this are Signs for every (soul that is) patiently constant and grateful.		 (সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ১৯)
104 অথচ তারা পূর্ব থেকে সত্যকে অস্বীকার করছিল। আর তারা সত্য হতে দূরে থেকে অজ্ঞাত বিষয়ের উপর মন্তব্য করত।
Seeing that they did reject Faith (entirely) before, and that they (continually) cast (slanders) on the unseen from a position far off?		 (সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ৫৩)
105 তাদের ও তাদের বাসনার মধ্যে অন্তরাল হয়ে গেছে, যেমন-তাদের সতীর্থদের সাথেও এরূপ করা হয়েছে, যারা তাদের পূর্বে ছিল। তারা ছিল বিভ্রান্তিকর সন্দেহে পতিত।
And between them and their desires, is placed a barrier, as was done in the past with their partisans: for they were indeed in suspicious (disquieting) doubt.		 (সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ৫৪)
106 তারা যদি আপনাকে মিথ্যাবাদী বলে, তবে আপনার পূর্ববর্তী পয়গম্বরগণকেও তো মিথ্যাবাদী বলা হয়েছিল। আল্লাহর প্রতিই যাবতীয় বিষয় প্রত্যাবর্তিত হয়।
And if they reject thee, so were messengers rejected before thee: to Allah back for decision all affairs.		 (ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ৪)
107 তারা যদি আপনার প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করে, তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরাও মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল। তাদের কাছে তাদের রসূলগণ স্পষ্ট নিদর্শন, সহীফা এবং উজ্জল কিতাবসহ এসেছিলেন।
And if they reject thee, so did their predecessors, to whom came their messengers with Clear Signs, Books of dark prophecies, and the Book of Enlightenment.		 (ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ২৫)
108 সেখানে তারা আর্ত চিৎকার করে বলবে, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, বের করুন আমাদেরকে, আমরা সৎকাজ করব, পূর্বে যা করতাম, তা করব না। (আল্লাহ বলবেন) আমি কি তোমাদেরকে এতটা বয়স দেইনি, যাতে যা চিন্তা করার বিষয় চিন্তা করতে পারতে? উপরন্তু তোমাদের কাছে সতর্ককারীও আগমন করেছিল। অতএব আস্বাদন কর। জালেমদের জন্যে কোন সাহায্যকারী নেই।
Therein will they cry aloud (for assistance): "Our Lord! Bring us out: we shall work righteousness, not the (deeds) we used to do!" - "Did We not give you long enough life so that he that would should receive admonition? and (moreover) the warner came to you. So taste ye (the fruits of your deeds): for the wrong-doers there is no helper."		 (ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ৩৭)
109 তারা কি পৃথিবীতে ভ্রমণ করে না? করলে দেখত তাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের কি পরিণাম হয়েছে। অথচ তারা তাদের অপেক্ষা অধিকতর শক্তিশালী ছিল। আকাশ ও পৃথিবীতে কোন কিছুই আল্লাহকে অপারগ করতে পারে না। নিশ্চয় তিনি সর্বজ্ঞ সর্বশক্তিমান।
Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the End of those before them,- though they were superior to them in strength? Nor is Allah to be frustrated by anything whatever in the heavens or on earth: for He is All-Knowing. All-Powerful.		 (ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
110 তাদের একজন বলবে, আমার এক সঙ্গী ছিল।
One of them will start the talk and say: "I had an intimate companion (on the earth),		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ৫১)
111 অতঃপর তারা তদের পদাংক অনুসরণে তৎপর ছিল।
So they (too) were rushed down on their footsteps!		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ৭০)
112 তাদের পূর্বেও অগ্রবর্তীদের অধিকাংশ বিপথগামী হয়েছিল।
And truly before them, many of the ancients went astray;-		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ৭১)
113 আর নূহ আমাকে ডেকেছিল। আর কি চমৎকারভাবে আমি তার ডাকে সাড়া দিয়েছিলাম।
(In the days of old), Noah cried to Us, and We are the best to hear prayer.		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ৭৫)
114 কিন্তু এক বৃদ্ধাকে ছাড়া; সে অন্যান্যদের সঙ্গে থেকে গিয়েছিল।
Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind:		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৫)
115 আপনার কাছে দাবীদারদের বৃত্তান্ত পৌছেছে, যখন তারা প্রাচীর ডিঙ্গীয়ে এবাদত খানায় প্রবেশ করেছিল।
Has the Story of the Disputants reached thee? Behold, they climbed over the wall of the private chamber;		 (ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ২১)
116 ঊর্ধ্ব জগৎ সম্পর্কে আমার কোন জ্ঞান ছিল না যখন ফেরেশতারা কথাবার্তা বলছিল।
"No knowledge have I of the Chiefs on high, when they discuss (matters) among themselves.		 (ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৯)
117 যারা কাফের তাদেরকে উচ্চঃস্বরে বলা হবে, তোমাদের নিজেদের প্রতি তোমাদের আজকের এ ক্ষোভ অপেক্ষা আল্লার ক্ষোভ অধিক ছিল, যখন তোমাদেরকে ঈমান আনতে বলা হয়েছিল, অতঃপর তোমরা কুফরী করছিল।
The Unbelievers will be addressed: "Greater was the aversion of Allah to you than (is) your aversion to yourselves, seeing that ye were called to the Faith and ye used to refuse."		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ১০)
118 তারা কি দেশ-বিদেশ ভ্রমণ করে না, যাতে দেখত তাদের পূর্বসুরিদের কি পরিণাম হয়েছে? তাদের শক্তি ও কীর্তি পৃথিবীতে এদের অপেক্ষা অধিকতর ছিল। অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাদেরকে তাদের গোনাহের কারণে ধৃত করেছিলেন এবং আল্লাহ থেকে তাদেরকে রক্ষাকারী কেউ হয়নি।
Do they not travel through the earth and see what was the End of those before them? They were even superior to them in strength, and in the traces (they have left) in the land: but Allah did call them to account for their sins, and none had they to defend them against Allah.		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ২১)
119 যেমন, কওমে নূহ, আদ, সামুদ ও তাদের পরবর্তীদের অবস্থা হয়েছিল। আল্লাহ বান্দাদের প্রতি কোন যুলুম করার ইচ্ছা করেন না।
"Something like the fate of the People of Noah, the 'Ad, and the Thamud, and those who came after them: but Allah never wishes injustice to his Servants.		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৩১)
120 আকাশের পথে, অতঃপর উঁকি মেরে দেখব মূসার আল্লাহকে। বস্তুতঃ আমি তো তাকে মিথ্যাবাদীই মনে করি। এভাবেই ফেরাউনের কাছে সুশোভিত করা হয়েছিল তার মন্দ কর্মকে এবং সোজা পথ থেকে তাকে বিরত রাখা হয়েছিল। ফেরাউনের চক্রান্ত ব্যর্থ হওয়ারই ছিল।
"The ways and means of (reaching) the heavens, and that I may mount up to the god of Moses: But as far as I am concerned, I think (Moses) is a liar!" Thus was made alluring, in Pharaoh's eyes, the evil of his deeds, and he was hindered from the Path; and the plot of Pharaoh led to nothing but perdition (for him).		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৩৭)
121 তাদের কাছে যখন তাদের রসূলগণ স্পষ্ট প্রমাণাদিসহ আগমন করেছিল, তখন তারা নিজেদের জ্ঞান-গরিমার দম্ভ প্রকাশ করেছিল। তারা যে বিষয় নিয়ে ঠাট্টাবিদ্রুপ করেছিল, তাই তাদেরকে গ্রাস করে নিয়েছিল।
For when their messengers came to them with Clear Signs, they exulted in such knowledge (and skill) as they had; but that very (Wrath) at which they were wont to scoff hemmed them in.		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৮৩)
122 আমি তাদের পেছনে সঙ্গী লাগিয়ে দিয়েছিলাম, অতঃপর সঙ্গীরা তাদের অগ্র-পশ্চাতের আমল তাদের দৃষ্টিতে শোভনীয় করে দিয়েছিল। তাদের ব্যাপারেও শাস্তির আদেশ বাস্তবায়িত হল, যা বাস্তবায়িত হয়েছিল তাদের পূর্ববতী জিন ও মানুষের ব্যাপারে। নিশ্চয় তারা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।
And We have destined for them intimate companions (of like nature), who made alluring to them what was before them and behind them; and the sentence among the previous generations of Jinns and men, who have passed away, is proved against them; for they are utterly lost.		 (হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৫)
123 এটা এজন্যে যে, তোমরা আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহকে ঠাট্টারূপে গ্রহণ করেছিলে এবং পার্থিব জীবন তোমাদেরকে প্রতারিত করেছিল। সুতরাং আজ তাদেরকে জাহান্নাম থেকে বের করা হবে না এবং তাদের কাছে তওবা চাওয়া হবে না।
"This, because ye used to take the Signs of Allah in jest, and the life of the world deceived you:" (From) that Day, therefore, they shall not be taken out thence, nor shall they be received into Grace.		 (আল জাসিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫)
124 বরং তোমরা ধারণ করেছিলে যে, রসূল ও মুমিনগণ তাদের বাড়ী-ঘরে কিছুতেই ফিরে আসতে পারবে না এবং এই ধারণা তোমাদের জন্যে খুবই সুখকর ছিল। তোমরা মন্দ ধারণার বশবর্তী হয়েছিলে। তোমরা ছিলে ধ্বংসমুখী এক সম্প্রদায়।
"Nay, ye thought that the Messenger and the Believers would never return to their families; this seemed pleasing in your hearts, and ye conceived an evil thought, for ye are a people lost (in wickedness)."		 (আল ফাতহ:
আয়াতঃ ১২)
125 আল্লাহ মুমিনদের প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট হলেন, যখন তারা বৃক্ষের নীচে আপনার কাছে শপথ করল। আল্লাহ অবগত ছিলেন যা তাদের অন্তরে ছিল। অতঃপর তিনি তাদের প্রতি প্রশান্তি নাযিল করলেন এবং তাদেরকে আসন্ন বিজয় পুরস্কার দিলেন।
Allah's Good Pleasure was on the Believers when they swore Fealty to thee under the Tree: He knew what was in their hearts, and He sent down Tranquillity to them; and He rewarded them with a speedy Victory;		 (আল ফাতহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৮)
126 তোমাদের প্রত্যেক অনুরাগী ও স্মরণকারীকে এরই প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয়া হয়েছিল।
(A voice will say:) "This is what was promised for you,- for every one who turned (to Allah) in sincere repentance, who kept (His Law),		 (ক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩২)
127 তোমরা তোমাদের শাস্তি আস্বাদন কর। তোমরা একেই ত্বরান্বিত করতে চেয়েছিল।
"Taste ye your trial! This is what ye used to ask to be hastened!"		 (আয-যারিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
128 এবং তাদের ধন-সম্পদে প্রার্থী ও বঞ্চিতের হক ছিল।
And in their wealth and possessions (was remembered) the right of the (needy,) him who asked, and him who (for some reason) was prevented (from asking).		 (আয-যারিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ১৯)
129 এই বায়ু যার উপর দিয়ে প্রবাহিত হয়েছিলঃ তাকেই চুর্ণ-বিচুর্ণ করে দিয়েছিল।
It left nothing whatever that it came up against, but reduced it to ruin and rottenness.		 (আয-যারিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ৪২)
130 অতঃপর তারা তাদের পালনকর্তার আদেশ অমান্য করল এবং তাদের প্রতি বজ্রঘাত হল এমতাবস্থায় যে, তারা তা দেখেছিল।
But they insolently defied the Command of their Lord: So the stunning noise (of an earthquake) seized them, even while they were looking on.		 (আয-যারিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
131 অতএব, এই যালেমদের প্রাপ্য তাই, যা ওদের অতীত সহচরদের প্রাপ্য ছিল। কাজেই ওরা যেন আমার কাছে তা তাড়াতাড়ি না চায়।
For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)!		 (আয-যারিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ৫৯)
132 যখন বৃক্ষটি দ্বারা আচ্ছন্ন হওয়ার, তদ্দ্বারা আচ্ছন্ন ছিল।
Behold, the Lote-tree was shrouded (in mystery unspeakable!)		 (আন-নাজম:
আয়াতঃ ১৬)
133 তাদের পূর্বে নূহের সম্প্রদায়ও মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল। তারা মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল আমার বান্দা নূহের প্রতি এবং বলেছিলঃ এ তো উম্মাদ। তাঁরা তাকে হুমকি প্রদর্শন করেছিল।
Before them the People of Noah rejected (their messenger): they rejected Our servant, and said, "Here is one possessed!", and he was driven out.		 (আল ক্বামার:
আয়াতঃ ৯)
134 যা চলত আমার দৃষ্টি সামনে। এটা তার পক্ষ থেকে প্রতিশোধ ছিল, যাকে প্রত্যখ্যান করা হয়েছিল।
She floats under our eyes (and care): a recompense to one who had been rejected (with scorn)!		 (আল ক্বামার:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
135 সামুদ সম্প্রদায় সতর্ককারীদের প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল।
The Thamud (also) rejected (their) Warners.		 (আল ক্বামার:
আয়াতঃ ২৩)
136 লূত-সম্প্রদায় সতর্ককারীদের প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল।
The people of Lut rejected (his) warning.		 (আল ক্বামার:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩)
137 লূত (আঃ) তাদেরকে আমার প্রচন্ড পাকড়াও সম্পর্কে সতর্ক করেছিল। অতঃপর তারা সতর্কবাণী সম্পর্কে বাকবিতন্ডা করেছিল।
And (Lut) did warn them of Our Punishment, but they disputed about the Warning.		 (আল ক্বামার:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬)
138 তারা লূতের (আঃ) কাছে তার মেহমানদেরকে দাবী করেছিল। তখন আমি তাদের চক্ষু লোপ করে দিলাম। অতএব, আস্বাদন কর আমার শাস্তি ও সতর্কবাণী।
And they even sought to snatch away his guests from him, but We blinded their eyes. (They heard:) "Now taste ye My Wrath and My Warning."		 (আল ক্বামার:
আয়াতঃ ৩৭)
139 তাদেরকে প্রত্যুষে নির্ধারিত শাস্তি আঘাত হেনেছিল।
Early on the morrow an abiding Punishment seized them:		 (আল ক্বামার:
আয়াতঃ ৩৮)
140 ফেরাউন সম্প্রদায়ের কাছেও সতর্ককারীগণ আগমন করেছিল।
To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah).		 (আল ক্বামার:
আয়াতঃ ৪১)
141 তারা আমার সকল নিদর্শনের প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল। অতঃপর আমি পরাভূতকারী, পরাক্রমশালীর ন্যায় তাদেরকে পাকড়াও করলাম।
The (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will.		 (আল ক্বামার:
আয়াতঃ ৪২)
142 তারা ইতিপূর্বে স্বাচ্ছন্দ্যশীল ছিল।
For that they were wont to be indulged, before that, in wealth (and luxury),		 (আল ওয়াক্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৪৫)
143 যারা মুমিন, তাদের জন্যে কি আল্লাহর স্মরণে এবং যে সত্য অবর্তীর্ণ হয়েছে, তার কারণে হৃদয় বিগলিত হওয়ার সময় আসেনি? তারা তাদের মত যেন না হয়, যাদেরকে পূর্বে কিতাব দেয়া হয়েছিল। তাদের উপর সুদীর্ঘকাল অতিক্রান্ত হয়েছে, অতঃপর তাদের অন্তঃকরণ কঠিন হয়ে গেছে। তাদের অধিকাংশই পাপাচারী।
Has not the Time arrived for the Believers that their hearts in all humility should engage in the remembrance of Allah and of the Truth which has been revealed (to them), and that they should not become like those to whom was given Revelation aforetime, but long ages passed over them and their hearts grew hard? For many among them are rebellious transgressors.		 (আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ১৬)
144 তিনিই কিতাবধারীদের মধ্যে যারা কাফের, তাদেরকে প্রথমবার একত্রিত করে তাদের বাড়ী-ঘর থেকে বহিস্কার করেছেন। তোমরা ধারণাও করতে পারনি যে, তারা বের হবে এবং তারা মনে করেছিল যে, তাদের দূর্গগুলো তাদেরকে আল্লাহর কবল থেকে রক্ষা করবে। অতঃপর আল্লাহর শাস্তি তাদের উপর এমনদিক থেকে আসল, যার কল্পনাও তারা করেনি। আল্লাহ তাদের অন্তরে ত্রাস সঞ্চার করে দিলেন। তারা তাদের বাড়ী-ঘর নিজেদের হাতে এবং মুসলমানদের হাতে ধ্বংস করছিল। অতএব, হে চক্ষুষ্মান ব্যক্তিগণ, তোমরা শিক্ষা গ্রহণ কর।
It is He Who got out the Unbelievers among the People of the Book from their homes at the first gathering (of the forces). Little did ye think that they would get out: And they thought that their fortresses would defend them from Allah! But the (Wrath of) Allah came to them from quarters from which they little expected (it), and cast terror into their hearts, so that they destroyed their dwellings by their own hands and the hands of the Believers, take warning, then, O ye with eyes (to see)!		 (আল হাশর:
আয়াতঃ ২)
145 অতঃপর তাদের কর্মের শাস্তি আস্বাদন করল এবং তাদের কর্মের পরিণাম ক্ষতিই ছিল।
Then did they taste the evil result of their conduct, and the End of their conduct was Perdition.		 (আত্ব-ত্বালাক্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৯)
146 আর দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছেন এমরান-তনয়া মরিয়মের, যে তার সতীত্ব বজায় রেখেছিল। অতঃপর আমি তার মধ্যে আমার পক্ষ থেকে জীবন ফুঁকে দিয়েছিলাম এবং সে তার পালনকর্তার বানী ও কিতাবকে সত্যে পরিণত করেছিল। সে ছিল বিনয় প্রকাশকারীনীদের একজন।
And Mary the daughter of 'Imran, who guarded her chastity; and We breathed into (her body) of Our spirit; and she testified to the truth of the words of her Lord and of His Revelations, and was one of the devout (servants).		 (আত-তাহরীম:
আয়াতঃ ১২)
147 অতঃপর আপনার পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে বাগানে এক বিপদ এসে পতিত হলো। যখন তারা নিদ্রিত ছিল।
Then there came on the (garden) a visitation from thy Lord, (which swept away) all around, while they were asleep.		 (আল কলম:
আয়াতঃ ১৯)
148 আপনি আপনার পালনকর্তার আদেশের অপেক্ষায় সবর করুন এবং মাছওয়ালা ইউনুসের মত হবেন না, যখন সে দুঃখাকুল মনে প্রার্থনা করেছিল।
So wait with patience for the Command of thy Lord, and be not like the Companion of the Fish,- when he cried out in agony.		 (আল কলম:
আয়াতঃ ৪৮)
149 আদ ও সামুদ গোত্র মহাপ্রলয়কে মিথ্যা বলেছিল।
The Thamud and the 'Ad People (branded) as false the Stunning Calamity!		 (আল হাক্বক্বাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪)
150 ফেরাউন, তাঁর পূর্ববর্তীরা এবং উল্টে যাওয়া বস্তিবাসীরা গুরুতর পাপ করেছিল।
And Pharaoh, and those before him, and the Cities Overthrown, committed habitual Sin.		 (আল হাক্বক্বাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৯)
151 তারা তাদের পালনকর্তার রসূলকে অমান্য করেছিল। ফলে তিনি তাদেরকে কঠোরহস্তে পাকড়াও করলেন।
And disobeyed (each) the messenger of their Lord; so He punished them with an abundant Penalty.		 (আল হাক্বক্বাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১০)
152 সে সেই ব্যক্তিকে ডাকবে যে সত্যের প্রতি পৃষ্ঠপ্রদর্শন করেছিল ও বিমুখ হয়েছিল।
Inviting (all) such as turn their backs and turn away their faces (from the Right).		 (আল মা'আরিজ:
আয়াতঃ ১৭)
153 সম্পদ পুঞ্জীভূত করেছিল, অতঃপর আগলিয়ে রেখেছিল।
And collect (wealth) and hide it (from use)!		 (আল মা'আরিজ:
আয়াতঃ ১৮)
154 সে তার পরিবার-পরিজনের মধ্যে আনন্দিত ছিল।
Truly, did he go about among his people, rejoicing!		 (আল ইনশিক্বাক্ব:
আয়াতঃ ১৩)
155 যখন তারা তার কিনারায় বসেছিল।
Behold! they sat over against the (fire),		 (আল বুরূজ:
আয়াতঃ ৬)
156 এবং তারা বিশ্বাসীদের সাথে যা করেছিল, তা নিরীক্ষণ করছিল।
And they witnessed (all) that they were doing against the Believers.		 (আল বুরূজ:
আয়াতঃ ৭)
157 এবং সামুদ গোত্রের সাথে, যারা উপত্যকায় পাথর কেটে গৃহ নির্মাণ করেছিল।
And with the Thamud (people), who cut out (huge) rocks in the valley?-		 (আল ফজর:
আয়াতঃ ৯)
158 যারা দেশে সীমালঙ্ঘন করেছিল।
(All) these transgressed beyond bounds in the lands,		 (আল ফজর:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
159 অতঃপর সেখানে বিস্তর অশান্তি সৃষ্টি করেছিল।
And heaped therein mischief (on mischief).		 (আল ফজর:
আয়াতঃ ১২)
160 সামুদ সম্প্রদায় অবাধ্যতা বশতঃ মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল।
The Thamud (people) rejected (their prophet) through their inordinate wrong-doing,		 (আশ-শামস:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
161 যখন তাদের সর্বাধিক হতভাগ্য ব্যক্তি তৎপর হয়ে উঠেছিল।
Behold, the most wicked man among them was deputed (for impiety).		 (আশ-শামস:
আয়াতঃ ১২)
162 অতঃপর ওরা তার প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল এবং উষ্ট্রীর পা কর্তন করেছিল। তাদের পাপের কারণে তাদের পালনকর্তা তাদের উপর ধ্বংস নাযিল করে একাকার করে দিলেন।
Then they rejected him (as a false prophet), and they hamstrung her. So their Lord, on account of their crime, obliterated their traces and made them equal (in destruction, high and low)!		 (আশ-শামস:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
163 যারা তাদের উপর পাথরের কংকর নিক্ষেপ করছিল।
Striking them with stones of baked clay.		 (আল ফীল:
আয়াতঃ ৪)
