“বিতাড়িত শয়তান হতে আল্লাহর নিকট আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করছি। পরম করুণাময় ও অসীম দয়ালু আল্লাহর নামে আরম্ভ করছি।”

নং আয়াত সূরা
1 তারা আল্লাহ এবং ঈমানদারগণকে ধোঁকা দেয়। অথচ এতে তারা নিজেদেরকে ছাড়া অন্য কাউকে ধোঁকা দেয় না অথচ তারা তা অনুভব করতে পারে না।
Fain would they deceive Allah and those who believe, but they only deceive themselves, and realise (it) not!		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৯)
2 এতদসম্পর্কে যদি তোমাদের কোন সন্দেহ থাকে যা আমি আমার বান্দার প্রতি অবতীর্ণ করেছি, তাহলে এর মত একটি সূরা রচনা করে নিয়ে এস। তোমাদের সেসব সাহায্যকারীদেরকে সঙ্গে নাও-এক আল্লাহকে ছাড়া, যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাকো।
And if ye are in doubt as to what We have revealed from time to time to Our servant, then produce a Sura like thereunto; and call your witnesses or helpers (If there are any) besides Allah, if your (doubts) are true.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৩)
3 তোমাদের কিছু লোক নিরক্ষর। তারা মিথ্যা আকাঙ্খা ছাড়া আল্লাহর গ্রন্থের কিছুই জানে না। তাদের কাছে কল্পনা ছাড়া কিছুই নেই।
And there are among them illiterates, who know not the Book, but (see therein their own) desires, and they do nothing but conjecture.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৭৮)
4 যখন আমি বনী-ইসরাঈলের কাছ থেকে অঙ্গীকার নিলাম যে, তোমরা আল্লাহ ছাড়া কারও উপাসনা করবে না, পিতা-মাতা, আত্নীয়-স্বজন, এতীম ও দীন-দরিদ্রদের সাথে সদ্ব্যবহার করবে, মানুষকে সৎ কথাবার্তা বলবে, নামায প্রতিষ্ঠা করবে এবং যাকাত দেবে, তখন সামান্য কয়েকজন ছাড়া তোমরা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিলে, তোমরাই অগ্রাহ্যকারী।
And remember We took a covenant from the Children of Israel (to this effect): Worship none but Allah; treat with kindness your parents and kindred, and orphans and those in need; speak fair to the people; be steadfast in prayer; and practise regular charity. Then did ye turn back, except a few among you, and ye backslide (even now).		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৮৩)
5 অতঃপর তোমরাই পরস্পর খুনাখুনি করছ এবং তোমাদেরই একদলকে তাদের দেশ থেকে বহিস্কার করছ। তাদের বিরুদ্ধে পাপ ও অন্যায়ের মাধ্যমে আক্রমণ করছ। আর যদি তারাই কারও বন্দী হয়ে তোমাদের কাছে আসে, তবে বিনিময় নিয়ে তাদের মুক্ত করছ। অথচ তাদের বহিস্কার করাও তোমাদের জন্য অবৈধ। তবে কি তোমরা গ্রন্থের কিয়দংশ বিশ্বাস কর এবং কিয়দংশ অবিশ্বাস কর? যারা এরূপ করে পার্থিব জীবনে দূগর্তি ছাড়া তাদের আর কোনই পথ নেই। কিয়ামতের দিন তাদের কঠোরতম শাস্তির দিকে পৌঁছে দেয়া হবে। আল্লাহ তোমাদের কাজ-কর্ম সম্পর্কে বে-খবর নন।
After this it is ye, the same people, who slay among yourselves, and banish a party of you from their homes; assist (Their enemies) against them, in guilt and rancour; and if they come to you as captives, ye ransom them, though it was not lawful for you to banish them. Then is it only a part of the Book that ye believe in, and do ye reject the rest? but what is the reward for those among you who behave like this but disgrace in this life?- and on the Day of Judgment they shall be consigned to the most grievous penalty. For Allah is not unmindful of what ye do.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৮৫)
6 যখন তাদেরকে বলা হয়, আল্লাহ যা পাঠিয়েছেন তা মেনে নাও, তখন তারা বলে, আমরা মানি যা আমাদের প্রতি অবর্তীণ হয়েছে। সেটি ছাড়া সবগুলোকে তারা অস্বীকার করে। অথচ এ গ্রন্থটি সত্য এবং সত্যায়ন করে ঐ গ্রন্থের যা তাদের কাছে রয়েছে। বলে দিন, তবে তোমরা ইতিপূর্বে পয়গম্বরদের হত্যা করতে কেন যদি তোমরা বিশ্বাসী ছিলে?
When it is said to them, "Believe in what Allah Hath sent down, "they say, "We believe in what was sent down to us:" yet they reject all besides, even if it be Truth confirming what is with them. Say: "Why then have ye slain the prophets of Allah in times gone by, if ye did indeed believe?"		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৯১)
7 তারা ঐ শাস্ত্রের অনুসরণ করল, যা সুলায়মানের রাজত্ব কালে শয়তানরা আবৃত্তি করত। সুলায়মান কুফর করেনি; শয়তানরাই কুফর করেছিল। তারা মানুষকে জাদুবিদ্যা এবং বাবেল শহরে হারুত ও মারুত দুই ফেরেশতার প্রতি যা অবতীর্ণ হয়েছিল, তা শিক্ষা দিত। তারা উভয়ই একথা না বলে কাউকে শিক্ষা দিত না যে, আমরা পরীক্ষার জন্য; কাজেই তুমি কাফের হয়ো না। অতঃপর তারা তাদের কাছ থেকে এমন জাদু শিখত, যদ্দ্বারা স্বামী ও স্ত্রীর মধ্যে বিচ্ছেদ ঘটে। তারা আল্লাহর আদেশ ছাড়া তদ্দ্বারা কারও অনিষ্ট করতে পারত না। যা তাদের ক্ষতি করে এবং উপকার না করে, তারা তাই শিখে। তারা ভালরূপে জানে যে, যে কেউ জাদু অবলম্বন করে, তার জন্য পরকালে কোন অংশ নেই। যার বিনিময়ে তারা আত্নবিক্রয় করেছে, তা খুবই মন্দ যদি তারা জানত।
They followed what the evil ones gave out (falsely) against the power of Solomon: the blasphemers Were, not Solomon, but the evil ones, teaching men Magic, and such things as came down at babylon to the angels Harut and Marut. But neither of these taught anyone (Such things) without saying: "We are only for trial; so do not blaspheme." They learned from them the means to sow discord between man and wife. But they could not thus harm anyone except by Allah's permission. And they learned what harmed them, not what profited them. And they knew that the buyers of (magic) would have no share in the happiness of the Hereafter. And vile was the price for which they did sell their souls, if they but knew!		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১০২)
8 আর তোমাদের উপাস্য একইমাত্র উপাস্য। তিনি ছাড়া মহা করুণাময় দয়ালু কেউ নেই।
And your Allah is One Allah: There is no god but He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৬৩)
9 বস্তুতঃ এহেন কাফেরদের উদাহরণ এমন, যেন কেউ এমন কোন জীবকে আহবান করছে যা কোন কিছুই শোনে না, হাঁক-ডাক আর চিৎকার ছাড়া বধির মুক, এবং অন্ধ। সুতরাং তারা কিছুই বোঝে না।
The parable of those who reject Faith is as if one were to shout Like a goat-herd, to things that listen to nothing but calls and cries: Deaf, dumb, and blind, they are void of wisdom.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৭১)
10 নিশ্চয় যারা সেসব বিষয় গোপন করে, যা আল্লাহ কিতাবে নাযিল করেছেন এবং সেজন্য অল্প মূল্য গ্রহণ করে, তারা আগুন ছাড়া নিজের পেটে আর কিছুই ঢুকায় না। আর আল্লাহ কেয়ামতের দিন তাদের সাথে না কথা বলবেন, না তাদের পবিত্র করা হবে, বস্তুতঃ তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব।
Those who conceal Allah's revelations in the Book, and purchase for them a miserable profit,- they swallow into themselves naught but Fire; Allah will not address them on the Day of Resurrection. Nor purify them: Grievous will be their penalty.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৭৪)
11 তারপর যদি সে স্ত্রীকে (তৃতীয়বার) তালাক দেয়া হয়, তবে সে স্ত্রী যে পর্যন্ত তাকে ছাড়া অপর কোন স্বামীর সাথে বিয়ে করে না নেবে, তার জন্য হালাল নয়। অতঃপর যদি দ্বিতীয় স্বামী তালাক দিয়ে দেয়, তাহলে তাদের উভয়ের জন্যই পরস্পরকে পুনরায় বিয়ে করাতে কোন পাপ নেই। যদি আল্লাহর হুকুম বজায় রাখার ইচ্ছা থাকে। আর এই হলো আল্লাহ কতৃꦣ2453; নির্ধারিত সীমা; যারা উপলব্ধি করে তাদের জন্য এসব বর্ণনা করা হয়।
So if a husband divorces his wife (irrevocably), He cannot, after that, re-marry her until after she has married another husband and He has divorced her. In that case there is no blame on either of them if they re-unite, provided they feel that they can keep the limits ordained by Allah. Such are the limits ordained by Allah, which He makes plain to those who understand.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৩০)
12 মূসার পরে তুমি কি বনী ইসরাঈলের একটি দলকে দেখনি, যখন তারা বলেছে নিজেদের নবীর কাছে যে, আমাদের জন্য একজন বাদশাহ নির্ধারিত করে দিন যাতে আমরা আল্লাহর পথে যুদ্ধ করতে পারি। নবী বললেন, তোমাদের প্রতিও কি এমন ধারণা করা যায় যে, লড়াইর হুকুম যদি হয়, তাহলে তখন তোমরা লড়বে না? তারা বলল, আমাদের কি হয়েছে যে, আমরা আল্লাহর পথে লড়াই করব না। অথচ আমরা বিতাড়িত হয়েছি নিজেদের ঘর-বাড়ী ও সন্তান-সন্ততি থেকে। অতঃপর যখন লড়াইয়ের নির্দেশ হলো, তখন সামান্য কয়েকজন ছাড়া তাদের সবাই ঘুরে দাঁড়ালো। আর আল্লাহ তা’আলা জালেমদের ভাল করেই জানেন।
Hast thou not Turned thy vision to the Chiefs of the Children of Israel after (the time of) Moses? they said to a prophet (That was) among them: "Appoint for us a king, that we May fight in the cause of Allah." He said: "Is it not possible, if ye were commanded to fight, that that ye will not fight?" They said: "How could we refuse to fight in the cause of Allah, seeing that we were turned out of our homes and our families?" but when they were commanded to fight, they turned back, except a small band among them. But Allah Has full knowledge of those who do wrong.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৪৬)
13 অতঃপর তালূত যখন সৈন্য-সামন্ত নিয়ে বেরুল, তখন বলল, নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তোমাদিগকে পরীক্ষা করবেন একটি নদীর মাধ্যমে। সুতরাং যে লোক সেই নদীর পানি পান করবে সে আমার নয়। আর যে, লোক তার স্বাদ গ্রহণ করলো না, নিশ্চয়ই সে আমার লোক। কিন্তু যে লোক হাতের আঁজলা ভরে সামান্য খেয়ে নেবে তার দোষঅবশ্য তেমন গুরুতর হবে না। অতঃপর সবাই পান করল সে পানি, সামান্য কয়েকজন ছাড়া। পরে তালূত যখন তা পার হলো এবং তার সাথে ছিল মাত্র কয়েকজন ঈমানদার, তখন তারা বলতে লাগল, আজকের দিনে জালূত এবং তার সেনাবাহিনীর সাথে যুদ্ধ করার শক্তি আমাদের নেই, যাদের ধারণা ছিল যে, আল্লাহর সামনে তাদের একদিন উপস্থিত হতে হবে, তারা বার বার বলতে লাগল, সামান্য দলই বিরাট দলের মোকাবেলায় জয়ী হয়েছে আল্লাহর হুকুমে। আর যারা ধৈর্য্যশীল আল্লাহ তাদের সাথে রয়েছেন।
When Talut set forth with the armies, he said: "Allah will test you at the stream: if any drinks of its water, He goes not with my army: Only those who taste not of it go with me: A mere sip out of the hand is excused." but they all drank of it, except a few. When they crossed the river,- He and the faithful ones with him,- they said: "This day We cannot cope with Goliath and his forces." but those who were convinced that they must meet Allah, said: "How oft, by Allah's will, Hath a small force vanquished a big one? Allah is with those who steadfastly persevere."		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৪৯)
14 আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্য কোন উপাস্য নেই, তিনি জীবিত, সবকিছুর ধারক। তাঁকে তন্দ্রাও স্পর্শ করতে পারে না এবং নিদ্রাও নয়। আসমান ও যমীনে যা কিছু রয়েছে, সবই তাঁর। কে আছ এমন, যে সুপারিশ করবে তাঁর কাছে তাঁর অনুমতি ছাড়া? দৃষ্টির সামনে কিংবা পিছনে যা কিছু রয়েছে সে সবই তিনি জানেন। তাঁর জ্ঞানসীমা থেকে তারা কোন কিছুকেই পরিবেষ্টিত করতে পারে না, কিন্তু যতটুকু তিনি ইচ্ছা করেন। তাঁর সিংহাসন সমস্ত আসমান ও যমীনকে পরিবেষ্টিত করে আছে। আর সেগুলোকে ধারণ করা তাঁর পক্ষে কঠিন নয়। তিনিই সর্বোচ্চ এবং সর্বাপেক্ষা মহান।
Allah! There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory).		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৫৫)
15 তাদেরকে সৎপথে আনার দায় তোমার নয়। বরং আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা সৎপথে পরিচালিত করেন। যে মাল তোমরা ব্যয় কর, তা নিজ উপাকারার্থেই কর। আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি ছাড়া অন্য কোন উদ্দেশ্যে ব্যয় করো না। তোমরা যে, অর্থ ব্যয় করবে, তার পুরস্কার পুরোপুরি পেয়ে যাবে এবং তোমাদের প্রতি অন্যায় করা হবে না।
It is not required of thee (O Messenger), to set them on the right path, but Allah sets on the right path whom He pleaseth. Whatever of good ye give benefits your own souls, and ye shall only do so seeking the "Face" of Allah. Whatever good ye give, shall be rendered back to you, and ye shall not Be dealt with unjustly.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৭২)
16 আল্লাহ ছাড়া কোন উপাস্য নেই, তিনি চিরঞ্জীব, সবকিছুর ধারক।
Allah! There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-Subsisting, Eternal.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ২)
17 তিনিই সেই আল্লাহ, যিনি তোমাদের আকৃতি গঠন করেন মায়ের গর্ভে, যেমন তিনি চেয়েছেন। তিনি ছাড়া আর কোন উপাস্য নেই। তিনি প্রবল পরাক্রমশীল, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
He it is Who shapes you in the wombs as He pleases. There is no god but He, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৬)
18 তিনিই আপনার প্রতি কিতাব নাযিল করেছেন। তাতে কিছু আয়াত রয়েছে সুস্পষ্ট, সেগুলোই কিতাবের আসল অংশ। আর অন্যগুলো রূপক। সুতরাং যাদের অন্তরে কুটিলতা রয়েছে, তারা অনুসরণ করে ফিৎনা বিস্তার এবং অপব্যাখ্যার উদ্দেশে তন্মধ্যেকার রূপকগুলোর। আর সেগুলোর ব্যাখ্যা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত কেউ জানে না। আর যারা জ্ঞানে সুগভীর, তারা বলেনঃ আমরা এর প্রতি ঈমান এনেছি। এই সবই আমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে। আর বোধশক্তি সম্পন্নেরা ছাড়া অপর কেউ শিক্ষা গ্রহণ করে না।
He it is Who has sent down to thee the Book: In it are verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning); they are the foundation of the Book: others are allegorical. But those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is allegorical, seeking discord, and searching for its hidden meanings, but no one knows its hidden meanings except Allah. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in the Book; the whole of it is from our Lord:" and none will grasp the Message except men of understanding.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৭)
19 আল্লাহ সাক্ষ্য দিয়েছেন যে, তাঁকে ছাড়া আর কোন উপাস্য নেই। ফেরেশতাগণ এবং ন্যায়নিষ্ঠ জ্ঞানীগণও সাক্ষ্য দিয়েছেন যে, তিনি ছাড়া আর কোন ইলাহ নেই। তিনি পরাক্রমশালী প্রজ্ঞাময়।
There is no god but He: That is the witness of Allah, His angels, and those endued with knowledge, standing firm on justice. There is no god but He, the Exalted in Power, the Wise.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৮)
20 নিঃসন্দেহে এটাই হলো সত্য ভাষণ। আর এক আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্য কোন ইলাহ নেই। আর আল্লাহ; তিনিই হলেন পরাক্রমশালী মহাপ্রাজ্ঞ।
This is the true account: There is no god except Allah; and Allah-He is indeed the Exalted in Power, the Wise.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৬২)
21 বলুনঃ ‘হে আহলে-কিতাবগণ! একটি বিষয়ের দিকে আস-যা আমাদের মধ্যে ও তোমাদের মধ্যে সমান-যে, আমরা আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্য কারও ইবাদত করব না, তাঁর সাথে কোন শরীক সাব্যস্ত করব না এবং একমাত্র আল্লাহকে ছাড়া কাউকে পালনকর্তা বানাব না। তারপর যদি তারা স্বীকার না করে, তাহলে বলে দাও যে, ‘সাক্ষী থাক আমরা তো অনুগত।
Say: "O People of the Book! come to common terms as between us and you: That we worship none but Allah; that we associate no partners with him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, Lords and patrons other than Allah." If then they turn back, say ye: "Bear witness that we (at least) are Muslims (bowing to Allah's Will).		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৬৪)
22 কোন কোন আহলে-কিতাবের আকাঙ্খা, যাতে তোমাদের গোমরাহ করতে পারে, কিন্তু তারা নিজেদের ছাড়া অন্য কাউকেই গোমরাহ করে না। অথচ তারা বুঝতে পারে না।
It is the wish of a section of the People of the Book to lead you astray. But they shall lead astray (Not you), but themselves, and they do not perceive!		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৬৯)
23 যারা তোমাদের ধর্মমতে চলবে, তাদের ছাড়া আর কাউকে বিশ্বাস করবে না। বলে দিন নিঃসন্দেহে হেদায়েত সেটাই, যে হেদায়েত আল্লাহ করেন। আর এসব কিছু এ জন্যে যে, তোমরা যা লাভ করেছিলে তা অন্য কেউ কেন প্রাপ্ত হবে, কিংবা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার সামনে তোমাদের উপর তারা কেন প্রবল হয়ে যাবে! বলে দিন, মর্যাদা আল্লাহরই হাতে; তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা দান করেন এবং আল্লাহ প্রাচুর্যময় ও সর্বজ্ঞ।
"And believe no one unless he follows your religion." Say: "True guidance is the Guidance of Allah: (Fear ye) Lest a revelation be sent to someone (else) Like unto that which was sent unto you? or that those (Receiving such revelation) should engage you in argument before your Lord?" Say: "All bounties are in the hand of Allah: He granteth them to whom He pleaseth: And Allah careth for all, and He knoweth all things."		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৭৩)
24 তাছাড়া তোমাদেরকে একথা বলাও সম্ভব নয় যে, তোমরা ফেরেশতা ও নবীগনকে নিজেদের পালনকর্তা সাব্যস্ত করে নাও। তোমাদের মুসলমান হবার পর তারা কি তোমাদেরকে কুফরী শেখাবে?
Nor would he instruct you to take angels and prophets for Lords and patrons. What! would he bid you to unbelief after ye have bowed your will (To Allah in Islam)?		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৮০)
25 যে লোক ইসলাম ছাড়া অন্য কোন ধর্ম তালাশ করে, কস্মিণকালেও তা গ্রহণ করা হবে না এবং আখেরাতে সে ক্ষতি গ্রস্ত।
If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah), never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter He will be in the ranks of those who have lost (All spiritual good).		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৮৫)
26 যৎসামান্য কষ্ট দেয়া ছাড়া তারা তোমাদের কোনই ক্ষতি করতে পারবে না। আর যদি তারা তোমাদের সাথে লড়াই করে, তাহলে তারা পশ্চাদপসরণ করবে। অতঃপর তাদের সাহায্য করা হবে না।
They will do you no harm, barring a trifling annoyance; if they come out to fight you, they will show you their backs, and no help shall they get.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১১১)
27 তারা কখনও কোন অশ্লীল কাজ করে ফেললে কিংবা কোন মন্দ কাজে জড়িত হয়ে নিজের উপর জুলুম করে ফেললে আল্লাহকে স্মরণ করে এবং নিজের পাপের জন্য ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করে। আল্লাহ ছাড়া আর কে পাপ ক্ষমা করবেন? তারা নিজের কৃতকর্মের জন্য হঠকারিতা প্রদর্শন করে না এবং জেনে-শুনে তাই করতে থাকে না।
And those who, having done something to be ashamed of, or wronged their own souls, earnestly bring Allah to mind, and ask for forgiveness for their sins,- and who can forgive sins except Allah?- and are never obstinate in persisting knowingly in (the wrong) they have done.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৫)
28 আর আল্লাহর হুকুম ছাড়া কেউ মরতে পারে না-সেজন্য একটা সময় নির্ধারিত রয়েছে। বস্তুতঃ যে লোক দুনিয়ায় বিনিময় কামনা করবে, আমি তাকে তা দুনিয়াতেই দান করব। পক্ষান্তরে-যে লোক আখেরাতে বিনিময় কামনা করবে, তা থেকে আমি তাকে তাই দেবো। আর যারা কৃতজ্ঞ তাদেরকে আমি প্রতিদান দেবো
Nor can a soul die except by Allah's leave, the term being fixed as by writing. If any do desire a reward in this life, We shall give it to him; and if any do desire a reward in the Hereafter, We shall give it to him. And swiftly shall We reward those that (serve us with) gratitude.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৪৫)
29 তাছাড়া এরা যদি তোমাকে মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করে, তবে তোমার পূর্বেও এরা এমন বহু নবীকে মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করেছে, যারা নিদর্শন সমূহ নিয়ে এসেছিলেন। এবং এনেছিলেন সহীফা ও প্রদীপ্ত গ্রন্থ।
Then if they reject thee, so were rejected messengers before thee, who came with Clear Signs, Books of dark prophecies, and the Book of Enlightenment.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৮৪)
30 প্রত্যেক প্রাণীকে আস্বাদন করতে হবে মৃত্যু। আর তোমরা কিয়ামতের দিন পরিপূর্ণ বদলা প্রাপ্ত হবে। তারপর যাকে দোযখ থেকে দূরে রাখা হবে এবং জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করানো হবে, তার কার্যসিদ্ধি ঘটবে। আর পার্থিব জীবন ধোঁকা ছাড়া অন্য কোন সম্পদ নয়।
Every soul shall have a taste of death: And only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense. Only he who is saved far from the Fire and admitted to the Garden will have attained the object (of Life): For the life of this world is but goods and chattels of deception.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৮৫)
31 এবং নারীদের মধ্যে তাদের ছাড়া সকল সধবা স্ত্রীলোক তোমাদের জন্যে নিষিদ্ধ; তোমাদের দক্ষিণ হস্ত যাদের মালিক হয়ে যায়-এটা তোমাদের জন্য আল্লাহর হুকুম। এদেরকে ছাড়া তোমাদের জন্যে সব নারী হালাল করা হয়েছে, শর্ত এই যে, তোমরা তাদেরকে স্বীয় অর্থের বিনিময়ে তলব করবে বিবাহ বন্ধনে আবদ্ধ করার জন্য-ব্যভিচারের জন্য নয়। অনন্তর তাদের মধ্যে যাকে তোমরা ভোগ করবে, তাকে তার নির্ধারিত হক দান কর। তোমাদের কোন গোনাহ হবে না যদি নির্ধারণের পর তোমরা পরস্পরে সম্মত হও। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সুবিজ্ঞ, রহস্যবিদ।
Also (prohibited are) women already married, except those whom your right hands possess: Thus hath Allah ordained (Prohibitions) against you: Except for these, all others are lawful, provided ye seek (them in marriage) with gifts from your property,- desiring chastity, not lust, seeing that ye derive benefit from them, give them their dowers (at least) as prescribed; but if, after a dower is prescribed, agree Mutually (to vary it), there is no blame on you, and Allah is All-knowing, All-wise.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ২৪)
32 এমতাবস্থায় যদি তাদের কৃতকর্মের দরুন বিপদ আরোপিত হয়, তবে তাতে কি হল! অতঃপর তারা আপনার কাছে আল্লাহর নামে কসম খেয়ে খেয়ে ফিরে আসবে যে, মঙ্গল ও সম্প্রীতি ছাড়া আমাদের অন্য কোন উদ্দেশ্য ছিল না।
How then, when they are seized by misfortune, because of the deeds which they hands have sent forth? Then their come to thee, swearing by Allah: "We meant no more than good-will and conciliation!"		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৬২)
33 আল্লাহ ব্যতীত আর কোনোই উপাস্য নেই। অবশ্যই তিনি তোমাদেরকে সমবেত করবেন কেয়ামতের দিন, এতে বিন্দুমাত্র সন্দেহ নেই। তাছাড়া আল্লাহর চাইতে বেশী সত্য কথা আর কার হবে!
Allah! There is no god but He: of a surety He will gather you together against the Day of Judgment, about which there is no doubt. And whose word can be truer than Allah's?		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৮৭)
34 নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তাকে ক্ষমা করেন না, যে তাঁর সাথে কাউকে শরীক করে। এছাড়া যাকে ইচ্ছা, ক্ষমা করেন। যে আল্লাহর সাথে শরীক করে সে সুদূর ভ্রান্তিতে পতিত হয়।
Allah forgiveth not (The sin of) joining other gods with Him; but He forgiveth whom He pleaseth other sins than this: one who joins other gods with Allah, Hath strayed far, far away (from the right).		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১১৬)
35 তোমাদের আশার উপর ও ভিত্তি নয় এবং আহলে-কিতাবদের আশার উপরও না। যে কেউ মন্দ কাজ করবে, সে তার শাস্তি পাবে এবং সে আল্লাহ ছাড়া নিজের কোন সমর্থক বা সাহায্যকারী পাবে না।
Not your desires, nor those of the People of the Book (can prevail): whoever works evil, will be requited accordingly. Nor will he find, besides Allah, any protector or helper.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১২৩)
36 আর তাদের একথা বলার কারণে যে, আমরা মরিয়ম পুত্র ঈসা মসীহকে হত্যা করেছি যিনি ছিলেন আল্লাহর রসূল। অথচ তারা না তাঁকে হত্যা করেছে, আর না শুলীতে চড়িয়েছে, বরং তারা এরূপ ধাঁধায় পতিত হয়েছিল। বস্তুতঃ তারা এ ব্যাপারে নানা রকম কথা বলে, তারা এক্ষেত্রে সন্দেহের মাঝে পড়ে আছে, শুধুমাত্র অনুমান করা ছাড়া তারা এ বিষয়ে কোন খবরই রাখে না। আর নিশ্চয়ই তাঁকে তারা হত্যা করেনি।
That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৭)
37 এছাড়া এমন রসূল পাঠিয়েছি যাদের ইতিবৃত্ত আমি আপনাকে শুনিয়েছি ইতিপূর্বে এবং এমন রসূল পাঠিয়েছি যাদের বৃত্তান্ত আপনাকে শোনাইনি। আর আল্লাহ মূসার সাথে কথোপকথন করেছেন সরাসরি।
Of some messengers We have already told thee the story; of others We have not;- and to Moses Allah spoke direct;-		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৬৪)
38 হে আহলে-কিতাবগণ! তোমরা দ্বীনের ব্যাপারে বাড়াবাড়ি করো না এবং আল্লাহর শানে নিতান্ত সঙ্গত বিষয় ছাড়া কোন কথা বলো না। নিঃসন্দেহে মরিয়ম পুত্র মসীহ ঈসা আল্লাহর রসূল এবং তাঁর বাণী যা তিনি প্রেরণ করেছেন মরিয়মের নিকট এবং রূহ-তাঁরই কাছ থেকে আগত। অতএব, তোমরা আল্লাহকে এবং তার রসূলগণকে মান্য কর। আর একথা বলো না যে, আল্লাহ তিনের এক, একথা পরিহার কর; তোমাদের মঙ্গল হবে। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ একক উপাস্য। সন্তান-সন্ততি হওয়াটা তাঁর যোগ্য বিষয় নয়। যা কিছু আসমান সমূহ ও যমীনে রয়েছে সবই তার। আর কর্মবিধানে আল্লাহই যথেষ্ট।
O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His messengers. Say not "Trinity": desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৭১)
39 অতঃপর যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং সৎকাজ করেছে, তিনি তাদেরকে পরিপূর্ণ সওয়াব দান করবেন, বরং স্বীয় অনুগ্রহে আরো বেশী দেবেন। পক্ষান্তরে যারা লজ্জাবোধ করেছে এবং অহঙ্কার করেছে তিনি তাদেরকে দেবেন বেদনাদায়ক আযাব। আল্লাহকে ছাড়া তারা কোন সাহায্যকারী ও সমর্থক পাবে না।
But to those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, He will give their (due) rewards,- and more, out of His bounty: But those who are disdainful and arrogant, He will punish with a grievous penalty; Nor will they find, besides Allah, any to protect or help them.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৭৩)
40 তোমাদের জন্যে হারাম করা হয়েছে মৃত জীব, রক্ত, শুকরের মাংস, যেসব জন্তু আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্যের নামে উৎসর্গকৃত হয়, যা কন্ঠরোধে মারা যায়, যা আঘাত লেগে মারা যায়, যা উচ্চ স্থান থেকে পতনের ফলে মারা যা, যা শিং এর আঘাতে মারা যায় এবং যাকে হিংস্র জন্তু ভক্ষণ করেছে, কিন্তু যাকে তোমরা যবেহ করেছ। যে জন্তু যজ্ঞবেদীতে যবেহ করা হয় এবং যা ভাগ্য নির্ধারক শর দ্বারা বন্টন করা হয়। এসব গোনাহর কাজ। আজ কাফেররা তোমাদের দ্বীন থেকে নিরাশ হয়ে গেছে। অতএব তাদেরকে ভয় করো না বরং আমাকে ভয় কর। আজ আমি তোমাদের জন্যে তোমাদের দ্বীনকে পূর্নাঙ্গ করে দিলাম, তোমাদের প্রতি আমার অবদান সম্পূর্ণ করে দিলাম এবং ইসলামকে তোমাদের জন্যে দ্বীন হিসেবে পছন্দ করলাম। অতএব যে ব্যাক্তি তীব্র ক্ষুধায় কাতর হয়ে পড়ে; কিন্তু কোন গোনাহর প্রতি প্রবণতা না থাকে, তবে নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ তা’আলা ক্ষমাশীল।
Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah; that which hath been killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by being gored to death; that which hath been (partly) eaten by a wild animal; unless ye are able to slaughter it (in due form); that which is sacrificed on stone (altars); (forbidden) also is the division (of meat) by raffling with arrows: that is impiety. This day have those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion: yet fear them not but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But if any is forced by hunger, with no inclination to transgression, Allah is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩)
41 অতএব, তাদের অঙ্গীকার ভঙ্গের দরুন আমি তাদের উপর অভিসম্পাত করেছি এবং তাদের অন্তরকে কঠোর করে দিয়েছি। তারা কালামকে তার স্থান থেকে বিচ্যুত করে দেয় এবং তাদেরকে যে উপদেশ দেয়া হয়েছিল, তারা তা থেকে উপকার লাভ করার বিষয়টি বিস্মৃত হয়েছে। আপনি সর্বদা তাদের কোন না কোন প্রতারণা সম্পর্কে অবগত হতে থাকেন, তাদের অল্প কয়েকজন ছাড়া। অতএব, আপনি তাদেরকে ক্ষমা করুন এবং মার্জনা করুন। আল্লাহ অনুগ্রহকারীদেরকে ভালবাসেন।
But because of their breach of their covenant, We cursed them, and made their hearts grow hard; they change the words from their (right) places and forget a good part of the message that was sent them, nor wilt thou cease to find them- barring a few - ever bent on (new) deceits: but forgive them, and overlook (their misdeeds): for Allah loveth those who are kind.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৩)
42 এ কারণেই আমি বনী-ইসলাঈলের প্রতি লিখে দিয়েছি যে, যে কেউ প্রাণের বিনিময়ে প্রাণ অথবাপৃথিবীতে অনর্থ সৃষ্টি করা ছাড়া কাউকে হত্যা করে সে যেন সব মানুষকেই হত্যা করে। এবং যে কারও জীবন রক্ষা করে, সে যেন সবার জীবন রক্ষা করে। তাদের কাছে আমার পয়গম্বরগণ প্রকাশ্য নিদর্শনাবলী নিয়ে এসেছেন। বস্তুতঃ এরপরও তাদের অনেক লোক পৃথিবীতে সীমাতিক্রম করে।
On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our messengers with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩২)
43 বলুনঃ হে আহলে কিতাবগণ, আমাদের সাথে তোমাদের এছাড়া কি শত্রুতা যে, আমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছি আল্লাহর প্রতি, আমাদের উপর অবতীর্ণ গ্রন্থের প্রতি এবং পূর্বে অবতীর্ণ গ্রন্থের প্রতি। আর তোমাদের অধিকাংশই নাফরমান।
Say: "O people of the Book! Do ye disapprove of us for no other reason than that we believe in Allah, and the revelation that hath come to us and that which came before (us), and (perhaps) that most of you are rebellious and disobedient?"		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৯)
44 নিশ্চয় তারা কাফের, যারা বলেঃ আল্লাহ তিনের এক; অথচ এক উপাস্য ছাড়া কোন উপাস্য নেই। যদি তারা স্বীয় উক্তি থেকে নিবৃত্ত না হয়, তবে তাদের মধ্যে যারা কুফরে অটল থাকবে, তাদের উপর যন্ত্রনাদায়ক শাস্তি পতিত হবে।
They do blaspheme who say: Allah is one of three in a Trinity: for there is no god except One Allah. If they desist not from their word (of blasphemy), verily a grievous penalty will befall the blasphemers among them.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৩)
45 মরিয়ম-তনয় মসীহ রসূল ছাড়া আর কিছু নন। তাঁর পূর্বে অনেক রসূল অতিক্রান্ত হয়েছেন আর তার জননী একজন ওলী। তাঁরা উভয়েই খাদ্য ভক্ষণ করতেন। দেখুন, আমি তাদের জন্যে কিরূপ যুক্তি-প্রমাণ বর্ননা করি, আবার দেখুন, তারা উল্টা কোন দিকে যাচেছ।
Christ the son of Mary was no more than a messenger; many were the messengers that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how Allah doth make His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth!		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৫)
46 হে, মুমিনগণ, তোমাদের মধ্যে যখন কারও মৃত্যু উপস্থিত হয়, তখন ওছিয়ত করার সময় তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে ধর্মপরায়ন দুজনকে সাক্ষী রেখো। তোমরা সফরে থাকলে এবং সে অবস্থায় তোমাদের মৃত্যু উপস্থিত হলে তোমরা তোমাদের ছাড়াও দু ব্যক্তিকে সাক্ষী রেখো। যদি তোমাদের সন্দেহ হয়, তবে উভয়কে নামাযের পর থাকতে বলবে। অতঃপর উভয়েই আল্লাহর নামে কসম খাবে যে, আমরা এ কসমের বিনিময়ে কোন উপকার গ্রহণ করতে চাই না, যদিও কোন আত্নীয়ও হয় এবং আল্লাহর সাক্ষ্য আমরা গোপন করব না। এমতাবস্থায় কঠোর গোনাহগার হব।
O ye who believe! When death approaches any of you, (take) witnesses among yourselves when making bequests,- two just men of your own (brotherhood) or others from outside if ye are journeying through the earth, and the chance of death befalls you (thus). If ye doubt (their truth), detain them both after prayer, and let them both swear by Allah: "We wish not in this for any worldly gain, even though the (beneficiary) be our near relation: we shall hide not the evidence before Allah: if we do, then behold! the sin be upon us!"		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১০৬)
47 যখন আল্লাহ বলবেনঃ হে ঈসা ইবনে মরিয়ম, তোমার প্রতি ও তোমার মাতার প্রতি আমার অনুগ্রহ স্মরণ কর, যখন আমি তোমাকে পবিত্র আত্মার দ্বারা সাহায্য করেছি। তুমি মানুষের সাথে কথা বলতে কোলে থাকতেও এবং পরিণত বয়সেও এবং যখন আমি তোমাকে গ্রন্থ, প্রগাঢ় জ্ঞান, তওরাত ও ইঞ্জিল শিক্ষা দিয়েছি এবং যখন তুমি কাদামাটি দিয়ে পাখীর প্রতিকৃতির মত প্রতিকৃতি নির্মাণ করতে আমার আদেশে, অতঃপর তুমি তাতে ফুঁ দিতে; ফলে তা আমার আদেশে পাখী হয়ে যেত এবং তুমি আমার আদেশে জন্মান্ধ ও কুষ্টরোগীকে নিরাময় করে দিতে এবং যখন আমি বনী-ইসরাঈলকে তোমা থেকে নিবৃত্ত রেখেছিলাম, যখন তুমি তাদের কাছে প্রমাণাদি নিয়ে এসেছিলে, অতঃপর তাদের মধ্যে যারা কাফের ছিল, তারা বললঃ এটা প্রকাশ্য জাদু ছাড়া কিছুই নয়।
Then will Allah say: "O Jesus the son of Mary! Recount My favour to thee and to thy mother. Behold! I strengthened thee with the holy spirit, so that thou didst speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. Behold! I taught thee the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel and behold! thou makest out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, by My leave, and thou breathest into it and it becometh a bird by My leave, and thou healest those born blind, and the lepers, by My leave. And behold! thou bringest forth the dead by My leave. And behold! I did restrain the Children of Israel from (violence to) thee when thou didst show them the clear Signs, and the unbelievers among them said: 'This is nothing but evident magic.'		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১১০)
48 আপনি বলুনঃ আমি তোমাদেরকে বলি না যে, আমার কাছে আল্লাহর ভান্ডার রয়েছে। তাছাড়া আমি অদৃশ্য বিষয় অবগতও নই। আমি এমন বলি না যে, আমি ফেরেশতা। আমি তো শুধু ঐ ওহীর অনুসরণ করি, যা আমার কাছে আসে। আপনি বলে দিনঃ অন্ধ ও চক্ষুমান কি সমান হতে পারে? তোমরা কি চিন্তা কর না ?
Say: "I tell you not that with me are the treasures of Allah, nor do I know what is hidden, nor do I tell you I am an angel. I but follow what is revealed to me." Say: "can the blind be held equal to the seeing?" Will ye then consider not?		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৫০)
49 আপনি বলে দিনঃ আমার কাছে প্রতিপালকের পক্ষ থেকে একটি প্রমাণ আছে এবং তোমরা তার প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করেছ। তোমরা যে বস্তু শীঘ্র দাবী করছ, তা আমার কাছে নেই। আল্লাহ ছাড়া কারো নির্দেশ চলে না। তিনি সত্য বর্ণনা করেন এবং তিনিই শ্রেষ্ঠতম মীমাংসাকারী।
Say: "For me, I (work) on a clear sign from my Lord, but ye reject Him. What ye would see hastened, is not in my power. The command rests with none but Allah: He declares the truth, and He is the best of judges."		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৫৭)
50 তারা বলেঃ এসব চতুষ্পদ জন্তু ও শস্যক্ষেত্র নিষিদ্ধ। আমরা যাকে ইচছা করি, সে ছাড়া এগুলো কেউ খেতে পারবে না, তাদের ধারণা অনুসারে। আর কিছুসংখ্যক চতুষ্পদ জন্তুর পিঠে আরোহন হারাম করা হয়েছে এবং কিছু সংখ্যক চতুষ্পদ জন্তুর উপর তারা ভ্রান্ত ধারনা বশতঃ আল্লাহর নাম উচ্চারণ করে না, তাদের মনগড়া বুলির কারণে, অচিরেই তিনি তাদের কে শাস্তি দিবেন।
And they say that such and such cattle and crops are taboo, and none should eat of them except those whom - so they say - We wish; further, there are cattle forbidden to yoke or burden, and cattle on which, (at slaughter), the name of Allah is not pronounced; - inventions against Allah's name: soon will He requite them for their inventions.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৮)
51 নিশ্চয় তারা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছে, যারা নিজ সন্তানদেরকে নির্বুদ্ধিতাবশতঃ কোন প্রমাণ ছাড়াই হত্যা করেছে এবং আল্লাহ তাদেরকে যেসব দিয়েছিলেন, সেগুলোকে আল্লাহর প্রতি ভ্রান্ত ধারণা পোষণ করে হারাম করে নিয়েছে। নিশ্চিতই তারা পথভ্রষ্ট হয়েছে এবং সুপথগামী হয়নি।
Lost are those who slay their children, from folly, without knowledge, and forbid food which Allah hath provided for them, inventing (lies) against Allah. They have indeed gone astray and heeded no guidance.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৪০)
52 আপনি বলে দিনঃ যা কিছু বিধান ওহীর মাধ্যমে আমার কাছে পৌঁছেছে, তন্মধ্যে আমি কোন হারাম খাদ্য পাই না কোন ভক্ষণকারীর জন্যে, যা সে ভক্ষণ করে; কিন্তু মৃত অথবা প্রবাহিত রক্ত অথবা শুকরের মাংস এটা অপবিত্র অথবা অবৈধ; যবেহ করা জন্তু যা আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্যের নামে উৎসর্গ করা হয়। অতপর যে ক্ষুধায় কাতর হয়ে পড়ে এমতাবস্থায় যে অবাধ্যতা করে না এবং সীমালঙ্গন করে না, নিশ্চয় আপনার পালনকর্তা ক্ষমাশীল দয়ালু।
Say: "I find not in the message received by me by inspiration any (meat) forbidden to be eaten by one who wishes to eat it, unless it be dead meat, or blood poured forth, or the flesh of swine,- for it is an abomination - or, what is impious, (meat) on which a name has been invoked, other than Allah's". But (even so), if a person is forced by necessity, without wilful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits,- thy Lord is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৪৫)
53 তাঁর সম্প্রদায় এ ছাড়া কোন উত্তর দিল না যে, বের করে দাও এদেরকে শহর থেকে। এরা খুব সাধু থাকতে চায়।
And his people gave no answer but this: they said, "Drive them out of your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure!"		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৮২)
54 তিনি বললেন, তাহলে কি আল্লাহকে ছাড়া তোমাদের জন্য অন্য কোন উপাস্য অনুসন্ধান করব, অথচ তিনিই তোমাদিগকে সারা বিশ্বে শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দান করেছেন।
He said: "Shall I seek for you a god other than the (true) Allah, when it is Allah Who hath endowed you with gifts above the nations?"		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৪০)
55 আর মূসা বেছে নিলেন নিজের সম্প্রদায় থেকে সত্তর জন লোক আমার প্রতিশ্রুত সময়ের জন্য। তারপর যখন তাদেরকে ভূমিকম্প পাকড়াও করল, তখন বললেন, হে আমার পরওয়ারদেগার, তুমি যদি ইচ্ছা করতে, তবে তাদেরকে আগেই ধ্বংস করে দিতে এবং আমাকেও। আমাদেরকে কি সে কর্মের কারণে ধ্বংস করছ, যা আমার সম্প্রদায়ের নির্বোধ লোকেরা করেছে? এসবই তোমার পরীক্ষা; তুমি যাকে ইচ্ছা এতে পথ ভ্রষ্ট করবে এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা সরলপথে রাখবে। তুমি যে আমাদের রক্ষক-সুতরাং আমাদেরকে ক্ষমা করে দাও এবং আমাদের উপর করুনা কর। তাছাড়া তুমিই তো সর্বাধিক ক্ষমাকারী।
And Moses chose seventy of his people for Our place of meeting: when they were seized with violent quaking, he prayed: "O my Lord! if it had been Thy will Thou couldst have destroyed, long before, both them and me: wouldst Thou destroy us for the deeds of the foolish ones among us? this is no more than Thy trial: by it Thou causest whom Thou wilt to stray, and Thou leadest whom Thou wilt into the right path. Thou art our Protector: so forgive us and give us Thy mercy; for Thou art the best of those who forgive.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৫)
56 বলে দাও, হে মানব মন্ডলী। তোমাদের সবার প্রতি আমি আল্লাহ প্রেরিত রসূল, সমগ্র আসমান ও যমীনে তার রাজত্ব। একমাত্র তাঁকে ছাড়া আর কারো উপাসনা নয়। তিনি জীবন ও মৃত্যু দান করেন। সুতরাং তোমরা সবাই বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করো আল্লাহর উপর তাঁর প্রেরিত উম্মী নবীর উপর, যিনি বিশ্বাস রাখেন আল্লাহর এবং তাঁর সমস্ত কালামের উপর। তাঁর অনুসরণ কর যাতে সরল পথপ্রাপ্ত হতে পার।
Say: "O men! I am sent unto you all, as the Messenger of Allah, to Whom belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth: there is no god but He: it is He That giveth both life and death. So believe in Allah and His Messenger, the Unlettered Prophet, who believeth in Allah and His words: follow him that (so) ye may be guided."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৮)
57 আর আমি তাদেরকে বিভক্ত করে দিয়েছি দেশময় বিভিন্ন শ্রেনীতে, তাদের মধ্যে কিছু রয়েছে ভাল আর কিছু রয়েছে অন্য রকম! তাছাড়া আমি তাদেরকে পরীক্ষা করেছি ভাল ও মন্দের মাধ্যমে যাতে তারা ফিরে আসে।
We broke them up into sections on this earth. There are among them some that are the righteous, and some that are the opposite. We have tried them with both prosperity and adversity: In order that they might turn (to us).		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৬৮)
58 তারপর তাদের পেছনে এসেছে কিছু অপদার্থ, যারা উত্তরাধিকারী হয়েছে কিতাবের; তারা নিকৃষ্ট পার্থিব উপকরণ আহরণ করছে এবং বলছে, আমাদের ক্ষমা করে দেয়া হবে। বস্তুতঃ এমনি ধরনের উপকরণ যদি আবারো তাদের সামনে উপস্থিত হয়, তবে তাও তুলে নেবে। তাদের কাছথেকে কিতাবে কি অঙ্গীকার নেয়া হয়নি যে, আল্লাহর প্রতি সত্য ছাড়া কিছু বলবে না? অথচ তারা সে সবই পাঠ করেছে, যা তাতে লেখা রয়েছে। বস্তুতঃ আখেরাতের আলয় ভীতদের জন্য উত্তম-তোমরা কি তা বোঝ না ?
After them succeeded an (evil) generation: They inherited the Book, but they chose (for themselves) the vanities of this world, saying (for excuse): "(Everything) will be forgiven us." (Even so), if similar vanities came their way, they would (again) seize them. Was not the covenant of the Book taken from them, that they would not ascribe to Allah anything but the truth? and they study what is in the Book. But best for the righteous is the home in the Hereafter. Will ye not understand?		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৬৯)
59 আর আল্লাহ তো শুধু সুসংবাদ দান করলেন যাতে তোমাদের মন আশ্বস্ত হতে পারে। আর সাহায্য আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে ছাড়া অন্য কারো পক্ষ থেকে হতে পারে না। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ মহাশক্তির অধিকারী হেকমত ওয়ালা।
Allah made it but a message of hope, and an assurance to your hearts: (in any case) there is no help except from Allah: and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.		 (আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ১০)
60 আর কেউ যখন তাদের নিকট আমার আয়াতসমূহ পাঠ করে তবে বলে, আমরা শুনেছি, ইচ্ছা করলে আমরাও এমন বলতে পারি; এ তো পূর্ববর্তী ইতিকথা ছাড়া আর কিছুই নয়।
When Our Signs are rehearsed to them, they say: "We have heard this (before): if we wished, we could say (words) like these: these are nothing but tales of the ancients."		 (আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৩১)
61 তাছাড়া তারা যখন বলতে আরম্ভ করে যে, ইয়া আল্লাহ, এই যদি তোমার পক্ষ থেকে (আগত) সত্য দ্বীন হয়ে থাকে, তবে আমাদের উপর আকাশ থেকে প্রস্তর বর্ষণ কর কিংবা আমাদের উপর বেদনাদায়ক আযাব নাযিল কর।
Remember how they said: "O Allah if this is indeed the Truth from Thee, rain down on us a shower of stones form the sky, or send us a grievous penalty."		 (আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৩২)
62 অথচ আল্লাহ কখনই তাদের উপর আযাব নাযিল করবেন না যতক্ষণ আপনি তাদের মাঝে অবস্থান করবেন। তাছাড়া তারা যতক্ষণ ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করতে থাকবে আল্লাহ কখনও তাদের উপর আযাব দেবেন না।
But Allah was not going to send them a penalty whilst thou wast amongst them; nor was He going to send it whilst they could ask for pardon.		 (আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩)
63 আর কা’বার নিকট তাদের নামায বলতে শিস দেয়া আর তালি বাজানো ছাড়া অন্য কোন কিছুই ছিল না। অতএব, এবার নিজেদের কৃত কুফরীর আযাবের স্বাদ গ্রহণ কর।
Their prayer at the House (of Allah) is nothing but whistling and clapping of hands: (Its only answer can be), "Taste ye the penalty because ye blasphemed."		 (আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫)
64 আর আল্লাহ তা’আলার নির্দেশ মান্য কর এবং তাঁর রসূলের। তাছাড়া তোমরা পরস্পরে বিবাদে লিপ্ত হইও না। যদি তা কর, তবে তোমরা কাপুরুষ হয়ে পড়বে এবং তোমাদের প্রভাব চলে যাবে। আর তোমরা ধৈর্য্যধারণ কর। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ তা'আলা রয়েছেন ধৈর্য্যশীলদের সাথে।
And obey Allah and His Messenger; and fall into no disputes, lest ye lose heart and your power depart; and be patient and persevering: For Allah is with those who patiently persevere:		 (আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৪৬)
65 আর প্রস্তুত কর তাদের সাথে যুদ্ধের জন্য যাই কিছু সংগ্রহ করতে পার নিজের শক্তি সামর্থ্যের মধ্যে থেকে এবং পালিত ঘোড়া থেকে, যেন প্রভাব পড়ে আল্লাহর শুত্রুদের উপর এবং তোমাদের শত্রুদের উপর আর তাদেরকে ছাড়া অন্যান্যদের উপর ও যাদেরকে তোমরা জান না; আল্লাহ তাদেরকে চেনেন। বস্তুতঃ যা কিছু তোমরা ব্যয় করবে আল্লাহর রাহে, তা তোমরা পরিপূর্ণভাবে ফিরে পাবে এবং তোমাদের কোন হক অপূর্ণ থাকবে না।
Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of Allah and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom Allah doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of Allah, shall be repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated unjustly.		 (আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৬০)
66 হে নবী, তাদেরকে বলে দাও, যারা তোমার হাতে বন্দী হয়ে আছে যে, আল্লাহ যদি তোমাদের অন্তরে কোন রকম মঙ্গলচিন্তা রয়েছে বলে জানেন, তবে তোমাদেরকে তার চেয়ে বহুগুণ বেশী দান করবেন যা তোমাদের কাছ থেকে বিনিময়ে নেয়া হয়েছে। তাছাড়া তোমাদেরকে তিনি ক্ষমা করে দিবেন। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, করুণাময়।
O Prophet! say to those who are captives in your hands: "If Allah findeth any good in your hearts, He will give you something better than what has been taken from you, and He will forgive you: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful."		 (আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৭০)
67 তারা তাদের পন্ডিত ও সংসার-বিরাগীদিগকে তাদের পালনকর্তারূপে গ্রহণ করেছে আল্লাহ ব্যতীত এবং মরিয়মের পুত্রকেও। অথচ তারা আদিষ্ট ছিল একমাত্র মাবুদের এবাদতের জন্য। তিনি ছাড়া কোন মাবুদ নেই, তারা তাঁর শরীক সাব্যস্ত করে, তার থেকে তিনি পবিত্র।
They take their priests and their anchorites to be their lords in derogation of Allah, and (they take as their Lord) Christ the son of Mary; yet they were commanded to worship but One Allah: there is no god but He. Praise and glory to Him: (Far is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him).		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩১)
68 যদি তোমাদের সাথে তারা বের হত, তবে তোমাদের অনিষ্ট ছাড়া আর কিছু বৃদ্ধি করতো না, আর অশ্ব ছুটাতো তোমাদের মধ্যে বিভেদ সৃষ্টির উদ্দেশে। আর তোমাদের মাঝে রয়েছে তাদের গুপ্তচর। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ যালিমদের ভালভাবেই জানেন।
If they had come out with you, they would not have added to your (strength) but only (made for) disorder, hurrying to and fro in your midst and sowing sedition among you, and there would have been some among you who would have listened to them. But Allah knoweth well those who do wrong.		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৭)
69 তাদের অর্থ ব্যয় কবুল না হওয়ার এছাড়া আর কোন কারণ নেই যে, তারা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের প্রতি অবিশ্বাসী, তারা নামাযে আসে অলসতার সাথে ব্যয় করে সঙ্কুচিত মনে।
The only reasons why their contributions are not accepted are: that they reject Allah and His Messenger; that they come to prayer without earnestness; and that they offer contributions unwillingly.		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৪)
70 সে সমস্ত লোক যারা ভৎর্সনা-বিদ্রূপ করে সেসব মুসলমানদের প্রতি যারা মন খুলে দান-খয়রাত করে এবং তাদের প্রতি যাদের কিছুই নেই শুধুমাত্র নিজের পরিশ্রমলব্দ বস্তু ছাড়া। অতঃপর তাদের প্রতি ঠাট্টা করে। আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি ঠাট্টা করেছেন এবং তাদের জন্য রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব।
Those who slander such of the believers as give themselves freely to (deeds of) charity, as well as such as can find nothing to give except the fruits of their labour,- and throw ridicule on them,- Allah will throw back their ridicule on them: and they shall have a grievous penalty.		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৯)
71 আর তুমি বলে দাও, তোমরা আমল করে যাও, তার পরবর্তীতে আল্লাহ দেখবেন তোমাদের কাজ এবং দেখবেন রসূল ও মুসলমানগণ। তাছাড়া তোমরা শীগ্রই প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে তাঁর সান্নিধ্যে যিনি গোপন ও প্রকাশ্য বিষয়ে অবগত। তারপর তিনি জানিয়ে দেবেন তোমাদেরকে যা করতে।
And say: "Work (righteousness): Soon will Allah observe your work, and His Messenger, and the Believers: Soon will ye be brought back to the knower of what is hidden and what is open: then will He show you the truth of all that ye did."		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১০৫)
72 নিশ্চয়ই তোমাদের পালনকর্তা আল্লাহ যিনি তৈরী করেছেন আসমান ও যমীনকে ছয় দিনে, অতঃপর তিনি আরশের উপর অধিষ্ঠিত হয়েছেন। তিনি কার্য পরিচালনা করেন। কেউ সুপারিশ করতে পাবে না তবে তাঁর অনুমতি ছাড়া ইনিই আল্লাহ তোমাদের পালনকর্তা। অতএব, তোমরা তাঁরই এবাদত কর। তোমরা কি কিছুই চিন্তা কর না ?
Verily your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority), regulating and governing all things. No intercessor (can plead with Him) except after His leave (hath been obtained). This is Allah your Lord; Him therefore serve ye: will ye not receive admonition?		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৩)
73 আর যখন তাদের কাছে আমার প্রকৃষ্ট আয়াত সমূহ পাঠ করা হয়, তখন সে সমস্ত লোক বলে, যাদের আশা নেই আমার সাক্ষাতের, নিয়ে এসো কোন কোরআন এটি ছাড়া, অথবা একে পরিবর্তিত করে দাও। তাহলে বলে দাও, একে নিজের পক্ষ থেকে পরিবর্তিত করা আমার কাজ নয়। আমি সে নির্দেশেরই আনুগত্য করি, যা আমার কাছে আসে। আমি যদি স্বীয় পরওয়ারদেগারের নাফরমানী করি, তবে কঠিন দিবসের আযাবের ভয় করি।
But when Our Clear Signs are rehearsed unto them, those who rest not their hope on their meeting with Us, Say: "Bring us a reading other than this, or change this," Say: "It is not for me, of my own accord, to change it: I follow naught but what is revealed unto me: if I were to disobey my Lord, I should myself fear the penalty of a Great Day (to come)."		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ১৫)
74 তুমি জিজ্ঞেস কর, কে রুযী দান করে তোমাদেরকে আসমান থেকে ও যমীন থেকে, কিংবা কে তোমাদের কান ও চোখের মালিক? তাছাড়া কে জীবিতকে মৃতের ভেতর থেকে বের করেন এবং কেইবা মৃতকে জীবিতের মধ্য থেকে বের করেন? কে করেন কর্ম সম্পাদনের ব্যবস্থাপনা? তখন তারা বলে উঠবে, আল্লাহ! তখন তুমি বলো তারপরেও ভয় করছ না?
Say: "Who is it that sustains you (in life) from the sky and from the earth? or who is it that has power over hearing and sight? And who is it that brings out the living from the dead and the dead from the living? and who is it that rules and regulates all affairs?" They will soon say, "Allah". Say, "will ye not then show piety (to Him)?"		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৩১)
75 অতএব, এ আল্লাহই তোমাদের প্রকৃত পালনকর্তা। আর সত্য প্রকাশের পরে (উদভ্রান্ত ঘুরার মাঝে) কি রয়েছে গোমরাহী ছাড়া? সুতরাং কোথায় ঘুরছ?
Such is Allah, your real Cherisher and Sustainer: apart from truth, what (remains) but error? How then are ye turned away?		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৩২)
76 শুনছ, আসমানসমূহে ও যমীনে যা কিছু রয়েছে সবই আল্লাহর। আর এরা যারা আল্লাহকে বাদ দিয়ে শরীকদের উপাসনার পেছনে পড়ে আছে-তা আসলে কিছুই নয়। এরা নিজেরই কল্পনার পেছনে পড়ে রয়েছে এবং এছাড়া আর কিছু নয় যে, এরা বুদ্ধি খাটাচ্ছে।
Behold! verily to Allah belong all creatures, in the heavens and on earth. What do they follow who worship as His "partners" other than Allah? They follow nothing but fancy, and they do nothing but lie.		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৬৬)
77 আর কেউ ঈমান আনল না মূসার প্রতি তাঁর কওমের কতিপয় বালক ছাড়া-ফেরাউন ও তার সর্দারদের ভয়ে যে, এরা না আবার কোন বিপদে ফেলে দেয়। ফেরাউন দেশময় কর্তꦣ2499;ত্বের শিখরে আরোহণ করেছিল। আর সে তার হাত ছেড়ে রেখেছিল।
But none believed in Moses except some children of his people, because of the fear of Pharaoh and his chiefs, lest they should persecute them; and certainly Pharaoh was mighty on the earth and one who transgressed all bounds.		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৮৩)
78 আর বনী-ইসরাঈলকে আমি পার করে দিয়েছি নদী। তারপর তাদের পশ্চাদ্ধাবন করেছে ফেরাউন ও তার সেনাবাহিনী, দুরাচার ও বাড়াবাড়ির উদ্দেশে। এমনকি যখন তারা ডুবতে আরম্ভ করল, তখন বলল, এবার বিশ্বাস করে নিচ্ছি যে, কোন মা’বুদ নেই তাঁকে ছাড়া যাঁর উপর ঈমান এনেছে বনী-ইসরাঈলরা। বস্তুতঃ আমিও তাঁরই অনুগতদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।
We took the Children of Israel across the sea: Pharaoh and his hosts followed them in insolence and spite. At length, when overwhelmed with the flood, he said: "I believe that there is no god except Him Whom the Children of Israel believe in: I am of those who submit (to Allah in Islam)."		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৯০)
79 আর আল্লাহ যদি তোমার উপর কোন কষ্ট আরোপ করেন তাহলে কেউ নেই তা খন্ডাবার মত তাঁকে ছাড়া। পক্ষান্তরে যদি তিনি কিছু কল্যাণ দান করেন, তবে তার মেহেরবানীকে রহিত করার মতও কেউ নেই। তিনি যার প্রতি অনুগ্রহ দান করতে চান স্বীয় বান্দাদের মধ্যে তাকেই দান করেন; বস্তুত; তিনিই ক্ষমাশীল দয়ালু।
If Allah do touch thee with hurt, there is none can remove it but He: if He do design some benefit for thee, there is none can keep back His favour: He causeth it to reach whomsoever of His servants He pleaseth. And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ১০৭)
80 তারা কি বলে? কোরআন তুমি তৈরী করেছ? তুমি বল, তবে তোমরাও অনুরূপ দশটি সূরা তৈরী করে নিয়ে আস এবং আল্লাহ ছাড়া যাকে পার ডেকে নাও, যদি তোমাদের কথা সত্য হয়ে থাকে।
Or they may say, "He forged it," Say, "Bring ye then ten suras forged, like unto it, and call (to your aid) whomsoever ye can, other than Allah!- If ye speak the truth!		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ১৩)
81 এরাই হল সেসব লোক আখেরাতে যাদের জন্য আগুন ছাড়া নেই। তারা এখানে যা কিছু করেছিল সবই বরবাদ করেছে; আর যা কিছু উপার্জন করেছিল, সবই বিনষ্ট হল।
They are those for whom there is nothing in the Hereafter but the Fire: vain are the designs they frame therein, and of no effect and the deeds that they do!		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ১৬)
82 আর নূহ (আঃ) এর প্রতি ওহী প্রেরণ করা হলো যে, যারা ইতিমধ্যেই ঈমান এনেছে তাদের ছাড়া আপনার জাতির অন্য কেউ ঈমান আনবেনা এতএব তাদের কার্যকলাপে বিমর্ষ হবেন না।
It was revealed to Noah: "None of thy people will believe except those who have believed already! So grieve no longer over their (evil) deeds.		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬)
83 তাকে ছাড়া, তোমরা সবাই মিলে আমার অনিষ্ট করার প্রয়াস চালাও, অতঃপর আমাকে কোন অবকাশ দিও না।
"Other gods as partners! so scheme (your worst) against me, all of you, and give me no respite.		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৫)
84 আর সামুদ জাতি প্রতি তাদের ভাই সালেহ কে প্রেরণ করি; তিনি বললেন, হে আমার জাতি। আল্লাহর বন্দেগী কর, তিনি ছাড়া তোমাদের কোন উপাস্য নাই। তিনিই যমীন হতে তোমাদেরকে পয়দা করেছেন, তন্মধ্যে তোমাদেরকে বসতি দান করেছেন। অতএব; তাঁর কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা কর অতঃপর তাঁরই দিকে ফিরে চল আমার পালনকর্তা নিকটেই আছেন, কবুল করে থাকেন; সন্দেহ নেই।
To the Thamud People (We sent) Salih, one of their own brethren. He said: "O my people! Worship Allah: ye have no other god but Him. It is He Who hath produced you from the earth and settled you therein: then ask forgiveness of Him, and turn to Him (in repentance): for my Lord is (always) near, ready to answer."		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৬১)
85 সালেহ বললেন-হে আমার জাতি! তোমরা কি মনে কর, আমি যদি আমার পালনকর্তার পক্ষ হতে বুদ্ধি বিবেচনা লাভ করে থাকি আর তিনি যদি আমাকে নিজের তরফ হতে রহমত দান করে থাকেন, অতঃপর আমি যদি তাঁর অবাধ্য হই তবে তার থেকে কে আমায় রক্ষা করবে? তোমরা তো আমার ক্ষতি ছাড়া কিছুই বৃদ্ধি করতে পরবে না
He said: "O my people! do ye see? if I have a Clear (Sign) from my Lord and He hath sent Mercy unto me from Himself,- who then can help me against Allah if I were to disobey Him? What then would ye add to my (portion) but perdition?		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৩)
86 আর মাদইয়ানবাসীদের প্রতি তাদের ভাই শোয়ায়েব (আঃ) কে প্রেরণ করেছি। তিনি বললেন-হে আমার কওম! আল্লাহর বন্দেগী কর, তিনি ছাড়া আমাদের কোন মাবুদ নাই। আর পরিমাপে ও ওজনে কম দিও না, আজ আমি তোমাদেরকে ভাল অবস্থায়ই দেখছি, কিন্তু আমি তোমাদের উপর এমন একদিনের আযাবের আশঙ্কা করছি যেদিনটি পরিবেষ্টনকারী।
To the Madyan People (We sent) Shu'aib, one of their own brethren: he said: "O my people! worship Allah: Ye have no other god but Him. And give not short measure or weight: I see you in prosperity, but I fear for you the penalty of a day that will compass (you) all round.		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৮৪)
87 শোয়ায়েব (আঃ) বললেন-হে দেশবাসী, তোমরা কি মনে কর! আমি যদি আমার পরওয়ারদেগারের পক্ষ হতে সুস্পষ্ট দলীলের উপর কায়েম থাকি আর তিনি যদি নিজের তরফ হতে আমাকে উত্তম রিযিক দান করে থাকেন, (তবে কি আমি তাঁর হুকুম অমান্য করতে পারি?) আর আমি চাই না যে তোমাদেরকে যা ছাড়াতে চাই পরে নিজেই সে কাজে লিপ্ত হব, আমি তো যথাসাধ্য শোধরাতে চাই। আল্লাহর মদদ দ্বারাই কিন্তু কাজ হয়ে থাকে, আমি তাঁর উপরই নির্ভর করি এবং তাঁরই প্রতি ফিরে যাই।
He said: "O my people! see ye whether I have a Clear (Sign) from my Lord, and He hath given me sustenance (pure and) good as from Himself? I wish not, in opposition to you, to do that which I forbid you to do. I only desire (your) betterment to the best of my power; and my success (in my task) can only come from Allah. In Him I trust, and unto Him I look.		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৮৮)
88 যেদিন তা আসবে সেদিন আল্লাহর অনুমতি ছাড়া কেউ কোন কথা বলতে পারে না। অতঃপর কিছু লোক হবে হতভাগ্য আর কিছু লোক সৌভাগ্যবান।
The day it arrives, no soul shall speak except by His leave: of those (gathered) some will be wretched and some will be blessed.		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ১০৫)
89 তারা উভয়ে ছুটে দরজার দিকে গেল এবং মহিলা ইউসুফের জামা পিছন দিক থেকে ছিঁড়ে ফেলল। উভয়ে মহিলার স্বামীকে দরজার কাছে পেল। মহিলা বললঃ যে ব্যক্তি তোমার পরিজনের সাথে কুকর্মের ইচ্ছা করে, তাকে কারাগারে পাঠানো অথবা অন্য কোন যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি দেয়া ছাড়া তার আর কি শাস্তি হতে পারে?
So they both raced each other to the door, and she tore his shirt from the back: they both found her lord near the door. She said: "What is the (fitting) punishment for one who formed an evil design against thy wife, but prison or a grievous chastisement?"		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ২৫)
90 তোমরা আল্লাহকে ছেড়ে নিছক কতগুলো নামের এবাদত কর, সেগুলো তোমরা এবং তোমাদের বাপ-দাদারা সাব্যস্ত করে নিয়েছে। আল্লাহ এদের কোন প্রমাণ অবতীর্ণ করেননি। আল্লাহ ছাড়া কারও বিধান দেবার ক্ষমতা নেই। তিনি আদেশ দিয়েছেন যে, তিনি ব্যতীত অন্য কারও এবাদত করো না। এটাই সরল পথ। কিন্তু অধিকাংশ লোক তা জানে না।
"If not Him, ye worship nothing but names which ye have named,- ye and your fathers,- for which Allah hath sent down no authority: the command is for none but Allah: He hath commanded that ye worship none but Him: that is the right religion, but most men understand not...		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪০)
91 বললঃ তোমরা সাত বছর উত্তম রূপে চাষাবাদ করবে। অতঃপর যা কাটবে, তার মধ্যে যে সামান্য পরিমাণ তোমরা খাবে তা ছাড়া অবশিষ্ট শস্য শীষ সমেত রেখে দেবে।
(Joseph) said: "For seven years shall ye diligently sow as is your wont: and the harvests that ye reap, ye shall leave them in the ear,- except a little, of which ye shall eat.		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৭)
92 তিনি বললেনঃ যার কাছে আমরা আমাদের মাল পেয়েছি, তাকে ছাড়া আর কাউকে গ্রেফতার করা থেকে আল্লাহ আমাদের রক্ষা করুন। তা হলে তো আমরা নিশ্চিতই অন্যায়কারী হয়ে যাব।
He said: "Allah forbid that we take other than him with whom we found our property: indeed (if we did so), we should be acting wrongfully.		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৯)
93 সত্যের আহবান একমাত্র তাঁরই এবং তাকে ছাড়া যাদেরকে ডাকে, তারা তাদের কোন কাজে আসে না; ওদের দৃষ্টান্ত সেরূপ, যেমন কেউ দু’ হাত পানির দিকে প্রসারিত করে যাতে পানি তার মুখে পৌঁছে যায়। অথচ পানি কোন সময় পৌঁছাবে না। কাফেরদের যত আহবান তার সবই পথভ্রষ্টতা।
For Him (alone) is prayer in Truth: any others that they call upon besides Him hear them no more than if they were to stretch forth their hands for water to reach their mouths but it reaches them not: for the prayer of those without Faith is nothing but (futile) wandering (in the mind).		 (রা'দ:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
94 আপনার পূর্বে আমি অনেক রসূল প্রেরণ করেছি এবং তাঁদেরকে পত্নী ও সন্তান-সন্ততি দিয়েছি। কোন রসূলের এমন সাধ্য ছিল না যে আল্লাহর নির্দেশ ছাড়া কোন নিদর্শন উপস্থিত করে। প্রত্যেকটি ওয়াদা লিখিত আছে।
We did send messengers before thee, and appointed for them wives and children: and it was never the part of a messenger to bring a sign except as Allah permitted (or commanded). For each period is a Book (revealed).		 (রা'দ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৮)
95 তোমাদের কাছে কি তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তী কওমে নূহ, আদ ও সামুদের এবং তাদের পরবর্তীদের খবর পৌছেনি? তাদের বিষয়ে আল্লাহ ছাড়া আর কেউ জানে না। তাদের কাছে তাদের পয়গম্বর প্রমানাদি নিয়ে আগমন করেন। অতঃপর তারা নিজেদের হাত নিজেদের মুখে রেখে দিয়েছে এবং বলেছে, যা কিছু সহ তোমাদেরকে প্রেরণ করা হয়েছে, আমরা তা মানি না এবং যে পথের দিকে তোমরা আমাদেরকে দাওয়াত দাও, সে সম্পর্কে আমাদের মনে সন্দেহ আছে, যা আমাদেরকে উৎকন্ঠায় ফেলে রেখেছে।
Has not the story reached you, (O people!), of those who (went) before you? - of the people of Noah, and 'Ad, and Thamud? - And of those who (came) after them? None knows them but Allah. To them came messengers with Clear (Signs); but they put their hands up to their mouths, and said: "We do deny (the mission) on which ye have been sent, and we are really in suspicious (disquieting) doubt as to that to which ye invite us."		 (ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ৯)
96 তিনি বললেনঃ পালনকর্তার রহমত থেকে পথভ্রষ্টরা ছাড়া কে নিরাশ হয় ?
He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?"		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ৫৬)
97 তিনি স্বীয় নির্দেশে বান্দাদের মধ্যে যার কাছে ইচ্ছা, নির্দেশসহ ফেরেশতাদেরকে এই মর্মে নাযিল করেন যে, হুশিয়ার করে দাও, আমি ছাড়া কোন উপাস্য নেই। অতএব আমাকে ভয় কর।
He doth send down His angels with inspiration of His Command, to such of His servants as He pleaseth, (saying): "Warn (Man) that there is no god but I: so do your duty unto Me."		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ২)
98 মুশরিকরা বললঃ যদি আল্লাহ চাইতেন, তবে আমরা তাঁকে ছাড়া কারও এবাদত করতাম না এবং আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষেরাও করত না এবং তাঁর নির্দেশ ছাড়া কোন বস্তুই আমরা হারাম করতাম না। তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা এমনই করেছে। রাসূলের দায়িত্ব তো শুধুমাত্র সুস্পষ্ট বাণী পৌছিয়ে দেয়া।
The worshippers of false gods say: "If Allah had so willed, we should not have worshipped aught but Him - neither we nor our fathers,- nor should we have prescribed prohibitions other than His." So did those who went before them. But what is the mission of messengers but to preach the Clear Message?		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫)
99 তারা কি উড়ন্ত পাখীকে দেখে না? এগুলো আকাশের অন্তরীক্ষে আজ্ঞাধীন রয়েছে। আল্লাহ ছাড়া কেউ এগুলোকে আগলে রাখে না। নিশ্চয় এতে বিশ্বাসীদের জন্যে নিদর্শনবলী রয়েছে।
Do they not look at the birds, held poised in the midst of (the air and) the sky? Nothing holds them up but (the power of) Allah. Verily in this are signs for those who believe.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৭৯)
100 অবশ্যই আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্যে হারাম করেছেন রক্ত, শুকরের মাংস এবং যা জবাই কালে আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্যের নাম উচ্চারণ করা হয়েছে। অতঃপর কেউ সীমালঙ্ঘন কারী না হয়ে নিরুপায় হয়ে পড়লে তবে, আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
He has only forbidden you dead meat, and blood, and the flesh of swine, and any (food) over which the name of other than Allah has been invoked. But if one is forced by necessity, without wilful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits,- then Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ১১৫)
101 আমি মূসাকে কিতাব দিয়েছি এবং সেটিকে বনী-ইসরাঈলের জন্যে হেদায়েতে পরিণত করেছি যে, তোমরা আমাকে ছাড়া কাউকে কার্যনিবাহী স্থির করো না।
We gave Moses the Book, and made it a Guide to the Children of Israel, (commanding): "Take not other than Me as Disposer of (your) affairs."		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ২)
102 তোমার পালনকর্তা আদেশ করেছেন যে, তাঁকে ছাড়া অন্য কারও এবাদত করো না এবং পিতা-মাতার সাথে সদ্ব-ব্যবহার কর। তাদের মধ্যে কেউ অথবা উভয়েই যদি তোমার জীবদ্দশায় বার্ধক্যে উপনীত হয়; তবে তাদেরকে ‘উহ’ শব্দটিও বলো না এবং তাদেরকে ধমক দিও না এবং বল তাদেরকে শিষ্ঠাচারপূর্ণ কথা।
Thy Lord hath decreed that ye worship none but Him, and that ye be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in thy life, say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of honour.		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ২৩)
103 আর, এতিমের মালের কাছেও যেয়ো না, একমাত্র তার কল্যাণ আকাংখা ছাড়া; সংশ্লিষ্ট ব্যক্তির যৌবনে পদার্পন করা পর্যন্ত এবং অঙ্গীকার পূর্ন কর। নিশ্চয় অঙ্গীকার সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করা হবে।
Come not nigh to the orphan's property except to improve it, until he attains the age of full strength; and fulfil (every) engagement, for (every) engagement will be enquired into (on the Day of Reckoning).		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৩৪)
104 সে বললঃ দেখুন তো, এনা সে ব্যক্তি, যাকে আপনি আমার চাইতেও উচ্চ মার্যাদা দিয়ে দিয়েছেন। যদি আপনি আমাকে কেয়ামত দিবস পর্যন্ত সময় দেন, তবে আমি সামান্য সংখ্যক ছাড়া তার বংশধরদেরকে সমূলে নষ্ট করে দেব।
He said: "Seest Thou? this is the one whom Thou hast honoured above me! If Thou wilt but respite me to the Day of Judgment, I will surely bring his descendants under my sway - all but a few!"		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৬২)
105 তুই সত্যচ্যুত করে তাদের মধ্য থেকে যাকে পারিস স্বীয় আওয়ায দ্বারা, স্বীয় অশ্বারোহী ও পদাতিক বাহিনী নিয়ে তাদেরকে আক্রমণ কর, তাদের অর্থ-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততিতে শরীক হয়ে যা এবং তাদেরকে প্রতিশ্রুতি দে। ছলনা ছাড়া শয়তান তাদেরকে কোন প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয় না।
"Lead to destruction those whom thou canst among them, with thy (seductive) voice; make assaults on them with thy cavalry and thy infantry; mutually share with them wealth and children; and make promises to them." But Satan promises them nothing but deceit.		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৬৪)
106 আল্লাহ যাকে পথ প্রদর্শন করেন, সেই তো সঠিক পথ প্রাপ্ত এবং যাকে পথ ভ্রষ্ট করেন, তাদের জন্যে আপনি আল্লাহ ছাড়া কোন সাহায্যকারী পাবেন না। আমি কেয়ামতের দিন তাদের সমবেত করব তাদের মুখে ভর দিয়ে চলা অবস্থায়, অন্ধ অবস্থায়, মুক অবস্থায় এবং বধির অবস্থায়। তাদের আবাসস্থল জাহান্নাম। যখনই নির্বাপিত হওয়ার উপক্রম হবে আমি তখন তাদের জন্যে অগ্নি আরও বৃদ্ধি করে দিব।
It is he whom Allah guides, that is on true Guidance; but he whom He leaves astray - for such wilt thou find no protector besides Him. On the Day of Judgment We shall gather, them together, prone on their faces, blind, dumb, and deaf: their abode will be Hell: every time it shows abatement, We shall increase from them the fierceness of the Fire.		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৯৭)
107 তারা কি দেখেনি যে, যে আল্লাহ আসমান ও যমিন সৃজিত করেছেন, তিনি তাদের মত মানুষও পুনরায় সৃষ্টি করতে সক্ষম? তিনি তাদের জন্যে স্থির করেছেন একটি নির্দিষ্ট কাল, এতে কোন সন্দেহ নেই; অতঃপর জালেমরা অস্বীকার ছাড়া কিছু করেনি।
See they not that Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, has power to create the like of them (anew)? Only He has decreed a term appointed, of which there is no doubt. But the unjust refuse (to receive it) except with ingratitude.		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৯৯)
108 অজ্ঞাত বিষয়ে অনুমানের উপর ভিত্তি করে এখন তারা বলবেঃ তারা ছিল তিন জন; তাদের চতুর্থটি তাদের কুকুর। একথাও বলবে; তারা পাঁচ জন। তাদের ছষ্ঠটি ছিল তাদের কুকুর। আরও বলবেঃ তারা ছিল সাত জন। তাদের অষ্টমটি ছিল তাদের কুকুর। বলুনঃ আমার পালনকর্তা তাদের সংখ্যা ভাল জানেন। তাদের খবর অল্প লোকই জানে। সাধারণ আলোচনা ছাড়া আপনি তাদের সম্পর্কে বিতর্ক করবেন না এবং তাদের অবস্থা সম্পর্কে তাদের কাউকে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ ও করবেন না।
(Some) say they were three, the dog being the fourth among them; (others) say they were five, the dog being the sixth,- doubtfully guessing at the unknown; (yet others) say they were seven, the dog being the eighth. Say thou: "My Lord knoweth best their number; It is but few that know their (real case)." Enter not, therefore, into controversies concerning them, except on a matter that is clear, nor consult any of them about (the affair of) the Sleepers.		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ২২)
109 অতঃপর তারা চলতে লাগল। অবশেষে যখন একটি বালকের সাক্ষাত পেলেন, তখন তিনি তাকে হত্যা করলেন। মূসা বললেন? আপনি কি একটি নিস্পাপ জীবন শেষ করে দিলেন প্রাণের বিনিময় ছাড়াই? নিশ্চয়ই আপনি তো এক গুরুতর অন্যায় কাজ করলেন।
Then they proceeded: until, when they met a young man, he slew him. Moses said: "Hast thou slain an innocent person who had slain none? Truly a foul (unheard of) thing hast thou done!"		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৪)
110 তোমার হাত বগলে রাখ, তা বের হয়ে আসবে নির্মল উজ্জ্বল হয়ে অন্য এক নিদর্শন রূপে; কোন দোষ ছাড়াই।
"Now draw thy hand close to thy side: It shall come forth white (and shining), without harm (or stain),- as another Sign,-		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ২২)
111 দয়াময় আল্লাহ যাকে অনুমতি দেবেন এবং যার কথায় সন্তুষ্ট হবেন সে ছাড়া কারও সুপারিশ সেদিন কোন উপকারে আসবে না।
On that Day shall no intercession avail except for those for whom permission has been granted by (Allah) Most Gracious and whose word is acceptable to Him.		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ১০৯)
112 এছাড়া তারা আরও বলেঃ অলীক স্বপ্ন; না সে মিথ্যা উদ্ভাবন করেছে, না সে একজন কবি। অতএব সে আমাদের কাছে কোন নিদর্শন আনয়ন করুক, যেমন নিদর্শন সহ আগমন করেছিলেন পূর্ববর্তীগন।
"Nay," they say, "(these are) medleys of dream! - Nay, He forged it! - Nay, He is (but) a poet! Let him then bring us a Sign like the ones that were sent to (Prophets) of old!"		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৫)
113 কাফেররা যখন আপনাকে দেখে তখন আপনার সাথে ঠাট্টা করা ছাড়া তাদের আর কোন কাজ থাকে না, একি সেই ব্যক্তি, যে তোমাদের দেব-দেবীদের সমালোচনা করে? এবং তারাই তো রহমান’ এর আলোচনায় অস্বীকার করে।
When the Unbelievers see thee, they treat thee not except with ridicule. "Is this," (they say), "the one who talks of your gods?" and they blaspheme at the mention of (Allah) Most Gracious!		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬)
114 এবং অধীন করেছি শয়তানদের কতককে, যারা তার জন্যে ডুবুরীর কাজ করত এবং এ ছাড়া অন্য আরও অনেক কাজ করত। আমি তাদেরকে নিয়ন্ত্রন করে রাখতাম।
And of the evil ones, were some who dived for him, and did other work besides; and it was We Who guarded them.		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৮২)
115 কতক মানুষ জ্ঞান; প্রমাণ ও উজ্জ্বল কিতাব ছাড়াই আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে বিতর্ক করে।
Yet there is among men such a one as disputes about Allah, without Knowledge, without Guidance, and without a Book of Enlightenment,-		 (হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৮)
116 এটা শ্রবণযোগ্য। আর কেউ আল্লাহর সম্মানযোগ্য বিধানাবলীর প্রতি সম্মান প্রদর্শন করলে পালনকর্তার নিকট তা তার জন্যে উত্তম। উল্লেখিত ব্যতিক্রমগুলো ছাড়া তোমাদের জন্যে চতুস্পদ জন্তু হালাল করা হয়েছে। সুতরাং তোমরা মূর্তিদের অপবিত্রতা থেকে বেঁচে থাক এবং মিথ্যা কথন থেকে দূরে সরে থাক;
Such (is the Pilgrimage): whoever honours the sacred rites of Allah, for him it is good in the Sight of his Lord. Lawful to you (for food in Pilgrimage) are cattle, except those mentioned to you (as exception): but shun the abomination of idols, and shun the word that is false,-		 (হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৩০)
117 অতঃপর কেউ এদেরকে ছাড়া অন্যকে কামনা করলে তারা সীমালংঘনকারী হবে।
But those whose desires exceed those limits are transgressors;-		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৭)
118 অতঃপর আমি তার কাছে আদেশ প্রেরণ করলাম যে, তুমি আমার দৃষ্টির সামনে এবং আমার নির্দেশে নৌকা তৈরী কর। এরপর যখন আমার আদেশ আসে এবং চুল্লী প্লাবিত হয়, তখন নৌকায় তুলে নাও, প্রত্যেক জীবের এক এক জোড়া এবং তোমার পরিবারবর্গকে, তাদের মধ্যে যাদের বিপক্ষে পূর্বে সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়া হয়েছে তাদের ছাড়া। এবং তুমি জালেমদের সম্পর্কে আমাকে কিছু বলো না। নিশ্চয় তারা নিমজ্জত হবে।
So We inspired him (with this message): "Construct the Ark within Our sight and under Our guidance: then when comes Our Command, and the fountains of the earth gush forth, take thou on board pairs of every species, male and female, and thy family- except those of them against whom the Word has already gone forth: And address Me not in favour of the wrong-doers; for they shall be drowned (in the Flood).		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ২৭)
119 না, তাদের অন্তর এ বিষয়ে অজ্ঞানতায় আচ্ছন্ন, এ ছাড়া তাদের আরও কাজ রয়েছে, যা তারা করছে।
But their hearts are in confused ignorance of this; and there are, besides that, deeds of theirs, which they will (continue) to do,-		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৬৩)
120 এবং যারা তাদের স্ত্রীদের প্রতি অপবাদ আরোপ করে এবং তারা নিজেরা ছাড়া তাদের কোন সাক্ষী নেই, এরূপ ব্যক্তির সাক্ষ্য এভাবে হবে যে, সে আল্লাহর কসম খেয়ে চারবার সাক্ষ্য দেবে যে, সে অবশ্যই সত্যবাদী।
And for those who launch a charge against their spouses, and have (in support) no evidence but their own,- their solitary evidence (can be received) if they bear witness four times (with an oath) by Allah that they are solemnly telling the truth;		 (আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ৬)
121 ঈমানদার নারীদেরকে বলুন, তারা যেন তাদের দৃষ্টিকে নত রাখে এবং তাদের যৌন অঙ্গের হেফাযত করে। তারা যেন যা সাধারণতঃ প্রকাশমান, তা ছাড়া তাদের সৌন্দর্য প্রদর্শন না করে এবং তারা যেন তাদের মাথার ওড়না বক্ষ দেশে ফেলে রাখে এবং তারা যেন তাদের স্বামী, পিতা, শ্বশুর, পুত্র, স্বামীর পুত্র, ভ্রাতা, ভ্রাতুস্পুত্র, ভগ্নিপুত্র, স্ত্রীলোক অধিকারভুক্ত বাঁদী, যৌনকামনামুক্ত পুরুষ, ও বালক, যারা নারীদের গোপন অঙ্গ সম্পর্কে অজ্ঞ, তাদের ব্যতীত কারো আছে তাদের সৌন্দর্য প্রকাশ না করে, তারা যেন তাদের গোপন সাজ-সজ্জা প্রকাশ করার জন্য জোরে পদচারণা না করে। মুমিনগণ, তোমরা সবাই আল্লাহর সামনে তওবা কর, যাতে তোমরা সফলকাম হও।
And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband's fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or the slaves whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O ye Believers! turn ye all together towards Allah, that ye may attain Bliss.		 (আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ৩১)
122 এবং আমি তা তাদের মধ্যে বিভিন্নভাবে বিতরণ করি, যাতে তারা স্মরণ করে। কিন্তু অধিকাংশ লোক অকৃতজ্ঞতা ছাড়া কিছুই করে না।
And We have distributed the (water) amongst them, in order that they may celebrate (our) praises, but most men are averse (to aught) but (rank) ingratitude.		 (আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৫০)
123 অতঃপর তাঁকে ও তাঁর পরিবারবর্গকে উদ্ধার করলাম তাঁর স্ত্রী ছাড়া। কেননা, তার জন্যে ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্তদের ভাগ্যই নির্ধারিত করেছিলাম।
But We saved him and his family, except his wife; her We destined to be of those who lagged behind.		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৫৭)
124 তখন ইব্রাহীমের সম্প্রদায়ের এছাড়া কোন জওয়াব ছিল না যে তারা বলল, তাকে হত্যা কর অথবা অগ্নিদগ্ধ কর। অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাকে অগ্নি থেকে রক্ষা করলেন। নিশ্চয় এতে বিশ্বাসী লোকদের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।
So naught was the answer of (Abraham's) people except that they said: "Slay him or burn him." But Allah did save him from the Fire. Verily in this are Signs for people who believe.		 (আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ২৪)
125 আর আমি মানুষকে তার পিতা-মাতার সাথে সদ্ব্যবহারের জোর নির্দেশ দিয়েছি। তার মাতা তাকে কষ্টের পর কষ্ট করে গর্ভে ধারণ করেছে। তার দুধ ছাড়ানো দু বছরে হয়। নির্দেশ দিয়েছি যে, আমার প্রতি ও তোমার পিতা-মতার প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞ হও। অবশেষে আমারই নিকট ফিরে আসতে হবে।
And We have enjoined on man (to be good) to his parents: in travail upon travail did his mother bear him, and in years twain was his weaning: (hear the command), "Show gratitude to Me and to thy parents: to Me is (thy final) Goal.		 (লোকমান:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
126 তোমরা কি দেখ না আল্লাহ নভোমন্ডল ও ভূ-মন্ডলে যাকিছু আছে, সবই তোমাদের কাজে নিয়োজিত করে দিয়েছেন এবং তোমাদের প্রতি তাঁর প্রকাশ্য ও অপ্রকাশ্য নেয়ামতসমূহ পরিপূর্ন করে দিয়েছেন? এমন লোক ও আছে; যারা জ্ঞান, পথনির্দেশ ও উজ্জল কিতাব ছাড়াই আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে বাকবিতন্ডা করে।
Do ye not see that Allah has subjected to your (use) all things in the heavens and on earth, and has made his bounties flow to you in exceeding measure, (both) seen and unseen? Yet there are among men those who dispute about Allah, without knowledge and without guidance, and without a Book to enlighten them!		 (লোকমান:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
127 আমাদের প্রথম মৃত্যু ছাড়া এবং আমরা শাস্তি প্রাপ্তও হব না।
"Except our first death, and that we shall not be punished?"		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ৫৯)
128 কিন্তু এক বৃদ্ধাকে ছাড়া; সে অন্যান্যদের সঙ্গে থেকে গিয়েছিল।
Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind:		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৫)
129 শুধুমাত্র তাদের ছাড়া যারা জাহান্নামে পৌছাবে।
Except such as are (themselves) going to the blazing Fire!		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ১৬৩)
130 তবে তাদের মধ্যে যারা আপনার খাঁটি বান্দা, তাদেরকে ছাড়া।
"Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)."		 (ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ৮৩)
131 যারা নিজেদের কাছে আগত কোন দলীল ছাড়াই আল্লাহর আয়াত সম্পর্কে বিতর্ক করে, তাদের একজন আল্লাহ ও মুমিনদের কাছে খুবই অসন্তোষজনক। এমনিভাবে আল্লাহ প্রত্যেক অহংকারী-স্বৈরাচারী ব্যক্তির অন্তরে মোহর এঁটে দেন।
"(Such) as dispute about the Signs of Allah, without any authority that hath reached them, grievous and odious (is such conduct) in the sight of Allah and of the Believers. Thus doth Allah, seal up every heart - of arrogant and obstinate Transgressors."		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫)
132 তাদের কাছে যখন আমার সুস্পষ্ট আয়াতসমূহ পাঠ করা হয়, তখন একথা বলা ছাড়া তাদের কোন মুক্তিই থাকে না যে, তোমরা সত্যবাদী হলে আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদেরকে নিয়ে আস।
And when Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them their argument is nothing but this: They say, "Bring (back) our forefathers, if what ye say is true!"		 (আল জাসিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ২৫)
133 তার পালনকর্তার আদেশে সে সব কিছুকে ধ্বংস করে দেবে। অতঃপর তারা ভোর বেলায় এমন হয়ে গেল যে, তাদের বসতিগুলো ছাড়া কিছুই দৃষ্টিগোচর হল না। আমি অপরাধী সম্প্রদায়কে এমনিভাবে শাস্তি দিয়ে থাকি।
"Everything will it destroy by the command of its Lord!" Then by the morning they - nothing was to be seen but (the ruins of) their houses! thus do We recompense those given to sin!		 (আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ২৫)
134 আল্লাহ তাঁর রসূলকে সত্য স্বপ্ন দেখিয়েছেন। আল্লাহ চাহেন তো তোমরা অবশ্যই মসজিদে হারামে প্রবেশ করবে নিরাপদে মস্তকমুন্ডিত অবস্থায় এবং কেশ কর্তিত অবস্থায়। তোমরা কাউকে ভয় করবে না। অতঃপর তিনি জানেন যা তোমরা জান না। এছাড়াও তিনি দিয়েছেন তোমাদেরকে একটি আসন্ন বিজয়।
Truly did Allah fulfil the vision for His Messenger: ye shall enter the Sacred Mosque, if Allah wills, with minds secure, heads shaved, hair cut short, and without fear. For He knew what ye knew not, and He granted, besides this, a speedy victory.		 (আল ফাতহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৭)
135 গোনাহগারদের জন্যে এছাড়া আরও শাস্তি রয়েছে, কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই তা জানে না।
And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment besides this: But most of them understand not.		 (আত্ব তূর:
আয়াতঃ ৪৭)
136 একমাত্র আপনার মহিমায় ও মহানুভব পালনকর্তার সত্তা ছাড়া।
But will abide (for ever) the Face of thy Lord,- full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour.		 (আর রহমান:
আয়াতঃ ২৭)
137 ছাড়া হবে তোমাদের প্রতি অগ্নিস্ফুলিঙ্গ ও ধুম্রকুঞ্জ তখন তোমরা সেসব প্রতিহত করতে পারবে না।
On you will be sent (O ye evil ones twain!) a flame of fire (to burn) and a smoke (to choke): no defence will ye have:		 (আর রহমান:

138 এই দু’টি ছাড়া আরও দু’টি উদ্যান রয়েছে।
And besides these two, there are two other Gardens,-		 (আর রহমান:
আয়াতঃ ৬২)
139 তোমাদের স্ত্রীদের মধ্যে যদি কেউ হাতছাড়া হয়ে কাফেরদের কাছে থেকে যায়, অতঃপর তোমরা সুযোগ পাও, তখন যাদের স্ত্রী হাতছাড়া হয়ে গেছে, তাদেরকে তাদের ব্যয়কৃত অর্থের সমপরিমাণ অর্থ প্রদান কর এবং আল্লাহকে ভয় কর, যার প্রতি তোমরা বিশ্বাস রাখ।
And if any of your wives deserts you to the Unbelievers, and ye have an accession (by the coming over of a woman from the other side), then pay to those whose wives have deserted the equivalent of what they had spent (on their dower). And fear Allah, in Whom ye believe.		 (আল মুমতাহিনা:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
140 অতএব, যারা এদের ছাড়া অন্যকে কামনা করে, তারাই সীমালংঘনকারী।
But those who trespass beyond this are transgressors;-		 (আল মা'আরিজ:
আয়াতঃ ৩১)
141 তাদেরকে এছাড়া কোন নির্দেশ করা হয়নি যে, তারা খাঁটি মনে একনিষ্ঠভাবে আল্লাহর এবাদত করবে, নামায কায়েম করবে এবং যাকাত দেবে। এটাই সঠিক ধর্ম।
And they have been commanded no more than this: To worship Allah, offering Him sincere devotion, being true (in faith); to establish regular prayer; and to practise regular charity; and that is the Religion Right and Straight.		 (বাইয়্যিনাহ:
