অতঃপর তারা উষ্ট্রীকে হত্যা করল এবং স্বীয় প্রতিপালকের আদেশ অমান্য করল। তারা বললঃ হে ছালেহ, নিয়ে এস যদ্দ্বারা আমাদেরকে ভয় দেখাতে, যদি তুমি রসূল হয়ে থাক।
Then they ham-strung the she-camel, and insolently defied the order of their Lord, saying: "O Salih! bring about thy threats, if thou art a messenger (of Allah)!" |

ছালেহ তাদের কাছ থেকে প্রস্থান করলো এবং বললঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, আমি তোমাদের কাছে স্বীয় প্রতিপালকের পয়গাম পৌছিয়েছি এবং তোমাদের মঙ্গল কামনা করেছি কিন্তু তোমরা মঙ্গলকাঙ্খীদেরকে ভালবাস না।
So Salih left them, saying: "O my people! I did indeed convey to you the message for which I was sent by my Lord: I gave you good counsel, but ye love not good counsellors!" |
