নং আয়াত সূরা
1 আর তাদের উদাহরণ সেসব লোকের মত যারা দুর্যোগপূর্ণ ঝড়ো রাতে পথ চলে, যাতে থাকে আঁধার, গর্জন ও বিদ্যুৎচমক। মৃত্যুর ভয়ে গর্জনের সময় কানে আঙ্গুল দিয়ে রক্ষা পেতে চায়। অথচ সমস্ত কাফেরই আল্লাহ কর্তৃক পরিবেষ্ঠিত।
Or (another similitude) is that of a rain-laden cloud from the sky: In it are zones of darkness, and thunder and lightning: They press their fingers in their ears to keep out the stunning thunder-clap, the while they are in terror of death. But Allah is ever round the rejecters of Faith!		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৯)
2 বিদ্যুতালোকে যখন সামান্য আলোকিত হয়, তখন কিছুটা পথ চলে। আবার যখন অন্ধকার হয়ে যায়, তখন ঠাঁয় দাঁড়িয়ে থাকে। যদি আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা করেন, তাহলে তাদের শ্রবণশক্তি ও দৃষ্টিশক্তি ছিনিয়ে নিতে পারেন। আল্লাহ যাবতীয় বিষয়ের উপর সর্বময় ক্ষমতাশীল।
The lightning all but snatches away their sight; every time the light (Helps) them, they walk therein, and when the darkness grows on them, they stand still. And if Allah willed, He could take away their faculty of hearing and seeing; for Allah hath power over all things.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
3 আমি হুকুম করলাম, তোমরা সবাই নীচে নেমে যাও। অতঃপর যদি তোমাদের নিকট আমার পক্ষ থেকে কোন হেদায়েত পৌঁছে, তবে যে ব্যক্তি আমার সে হেদায়েত অনুসারে চলবে, তার উপর না কোন ভয় আসবে, না (কোন কারণে) তারা চিন্তাগ্রস্ত ও সন্তপ্ত হবে।
We said: "Get ye down all from here; and if, as is sure, there comes to you Guidance from me, whosoever follows My guidance, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৩৮)
4 আর যখন আমি মূসার সাথে ওয়াদা করেছি চল্লিশ রাত্রির অতঃপর তোমরা গোবৎস বানিয়ে নিয়েছ মূসার অনুপস্থিতিতে। বস্তুতঃ তোমরা ছিলে যালেম।
And remember We appointed forty nights for Moses, and in his absence ye took the calf (for worship), and ye did grievous wrong.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৫১)
5 নিশ্চয়ই আসমান ও যমীনের সৃষ্টিতে, রাত ও দিনের বিবর্তনে এবং নদীতে নৌকাসমূহের চলাচলে মানুষের জন্য কল্যাণ রয়েছে। আর আল্লাহ তা’ আলা আকাশ থেকে যে পানি নাযিল করেছেন, তদ্দ্বারা মৃত যমীনকে সজীব করে তুলেছেন এবং তাতে ছড়িয়ে দিয়েছেন সবরকম জীব-জন্তু। আর আবহাওয়া পরিবর্তনে এবং মেঘমালার যা তাঁরই হুকুমের অধীনে আসমান ও যমীনের মাঝে বিচরণ করে, নিশ্চয়ই সে সমস্ত বিষয়ের মাঝে নিদর্শন রয়েছে বুদ্ধিমান সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে।
Behold! in the creation of the heavens and the earth; in the alternation of the night and the day; in the sailing of the ships through the ocean for the profit of mankind; in the rain which Allah Sends down from the skies, and the life which He gives therewith to an earth that is dead; in the beasts of all kinds that He scatters through the earth; in the change of the winds, and the clouds which they Trail like their slaves between the sky and the earth;- (Here) indeed are Signs for a people that are wise.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৬৪)
6 আর এটা এজন্যে যে, আল্লাহ নাযিল করেছেন সত্যপূর্ণ কিতাব। আর যারা কেতাবের মাঝে মতবিরোধ সৃষ্টি করেছে নিশ্চয়ই তারা জেদের বশবর্তী হয়ে অনেক দূরে চলে গেছে।
(Their doom is) because Allah sent down the Book in truth but those who seek causes of dispute in the Book are in a schism Far (from the purpose).		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৭৬)
7 হে ঈমানদারগন! তোমাদের প্রতি নিহতদের ব্যাপারে কেসাস গ্রহণ করা বিধিবদ্ধ করা হয়েছে। স্বাধীন ব্যক্তি স্বাধীন ব্যক্তির বদলায়, দাস দাসের বদলায় এবং নারী নারীর বদলায়। অতঃপর তার ভাইয়ের তরফ থেকে যদি কাউকে কিছুটা মাফ করে দেয়া হয়, তবে প্রচলিত নিয়মের অনুসরণ করবে এবং ভালভাবে তাকে তা প্রদান করতে হবে। এটা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার তরফ থেকে সহজ এবং বিশেষ অনুগ্রহ। এরপরও যে ব্যাক্তি বাড়াবাড়ি করে, তার জন্য রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব।
O ye who believe! the law of equality is prescribed to you in cases of murder: the free for the free, the slave for the slave, the woman for the woman. But if any remission is made by the brother of the slain, then grant any reasonable demand, and compensate him with handsome gratitude, this is a concession and a Mercy from your Lord. After this whoever exceeds the limits shall be in grave penalty.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৭৮)
8 আর স্মরণ কর আল্লাহকে নির্দিষ্ট সংখ্যক কয়েকটি দিনে। অতঃপর যে লোক তাড়াহুড়া করে চলে যাবে শুধু দু, দিনের মধ্যে, তার জন্যে কোন পাপ নেই। আর যে লোক থেকে যাবে তাঁর উপর কোন পাপ নেই, অবশ্য যারা ভয় করে। আর তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় করতে থাক এবং নিশ্চিত জেনে রাখ, তোমরা সবাই তার সামনে সমবেত হবে।
Celebrate the praises of Allah during the Appointed Days. But if any one hastens to leave in two days, there is no blame on him, and if any one stays on, there is no blame on him, if his aim is to do right. Then fear Allah, and know that ye will surely be gathered unto Him.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২০৩)
9 তোমাদের কি এই ধারণা যে, তোমরা জান্নাতে চলে যাবে, অথচ সে লোকদের অবস্থা অতিক্রম করনি যারা তোমাদের পূর্বে অতীত হয়েছে। তাদের উপর এসেছে বিপদ ও কষ্ট। আর এমনি ভাবে শিহরিত হতে হয়েছে যাতে নবী ও তাঁর প্রতি যারা ঈমান এনেছিল তাদেরকে পর্যন্ত একথা বলতে হয়েছে যে, কখন আসবে আল্লাহর সাহায্যে! তোমরা শোনে নাও, আল্লাহর সাহায্যে একান্তই নিকটবর্তী।
Or do ye think that ye shall enter the Garden (of bliss) without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you? they encountered suffering and adversity, and were so shaken in spirit that even the Messenger and those of faith who were with him cried: "When (will come) the help of Allah?" Ah! Verily, the help of Allah is (always) near!		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২১৪)
10 আর তালাকপ্রাপ্তা নারী নিজেকে অপেক্ষায় রাখবে তিন হায়েয পর্যন্ত। আর যদি সে আল্লাহর প্রতি এবং আখেরাত দিবসের উপর ঈমানদার হয়ে থাকে, তাহলে আল্লাহ যা তার জরায়ুতে সৃষ্টি করেছেন তা লুকিয়ে রাখা জায়েজ নয়। আর যদি সদ্ভাব রেখে চলতে চায়, তাহলে তাদেরকে ফিরিয়ে নেবার অধিকার তাদের স্বামীরা সংরক্ষণ করে। আর পুরুষদের যেমন স্ত্রীদের উপর অধিকার রয়েছে, তেমনি ভাবে স্ত্রীদেরও অধিকার রয়েছে পুরুষদের উপর নিয়ম অনুযায়ী। আর নারীরদের ওপর পুরুষদের শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব রয়েছে। আর আল্লাহ হচ্ছে পরাক্রমশালী, বিজ্ঞ।
Divorced women shall wait concerning themselves for three monthly periods. Nor is it lawful for them to hide what Allah Hath created in their wombs, if they have faith in Allah and the Last Day. And their husbands have the better right to take them back in that period, if they wish for reconciliation. And women shall have rights similar to the rights against them, according to what is equitable; but men have a degree (of advantage) over them. And Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২২৮)
11 আর সন্তানবতী নারীরা তাদের সন্তানদেরকে পূর্ন দু’বছর দুধ খাওয়াবে, যদি দুধ খাওয়াবার পূর্ণ মেয়াদ সমাপ্ত করতে চায়। আর সন্তানের অধিকারী অর্থাৎ, পিতার উপর হলো সে সমস্ত নারীর খোর-পোষের দায়িত্ব প্রচলিত নিয়ম অনুযায়ী। কাউকে তার সামর্থাতিরিক্ত চাপের সম্মুখীন করা হয় না। আর মাকে তার সন্তানের জন্য ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত করা যাবে না। এবং যার সন্তান তাকেও তার সন্তানের কারণে ক্ষতির সম্মুখীন করা যাবে না। আর ওয়ারিসদের উপরও দায়িত্ব এই। তারপর যদি পিতা-মাতা ইচ্ছা করে, তাহলে দু’বছরের ভিতরেই নিজেদের পারস্পরিক পরামর্শক্রমে দুধ ছাড়িয়ে দিতে পারে, তাতে তাদের কোন পাপ নেই, আর যদি তোমরা কোন ধাত্রীর দ্বারা নিজের সন্তানদেরকে দুধ খাওয়াতে চাও, তাহলে যদি তোমরা সাব্যস্তকৃত প্রচলিত বিনিময় দিয়ে দাও তাতেও কোন পাপ নেই। আর আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং জেনে রেখো যে, আল্লাহ তোমাদের যাবতীয় কাজ অত্যন্ত ভাল করেই দেখেন।
The mothers shall give such to their offspring for two whole years, if the father desires to complete the term. But he shall bear the cost of their food and clothing on equitable terms. No soul shall have a burden laid on it greater than it can bear. No mother shall be Treated unfairly on account of her child. Nor father on account of his child, an heir shall be chargeable in the same way. If they both decide on weaning, by mutual consent, and after due consultation, there is no blame on them. If ye decide on a foster-mother for your offspring, there is no blame on you, provided ye pay (the mother) what ye offered, on equitable terms. But fear Allah and know that Allah sees well what ye do.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৩৩)
12 স্ত্রীদেরকে স্পর্শ করার আগে এবং কোন মোহর সাব্যস্ত করার পূর্বেও যদি তালাক দিয়ে দাও, তবে তাতেও তোমাদের কোন পাপ নেই। তবে তাদেরকে কিছু খরচ দেবে। আর সামর্থ্যবানদের জন্য তাদের সামর্থ্য অনুযায়ী এবং কম সামর্থ্যবানদের জন্য তাদের সাধ্য অনুযায়ী। যে খরচ প্রচলিত রয়েছে তা সৎকর্মশীলদের উপর দায়িত্ব।
There is no blame on you if ye divorce women before consummation or the fixation of their dower; but bestow on them (A suitable gift), the wealthy according to his means, and the poor according to his means;- A gift of a reasonable amount is due from those who wish to do the right thing.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৩৬)
13 আর তালাকপ্রাপ্তা নারীদের জন্য প্রচলিত নিয়ম অনুযায়ী খরচ দেয়া পরহেযগারদের উপর কর্তব্য।
For divorced women Maintenance (should be provided) on a reasonable (scale). This is a duty on the righteous.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৪১)
14 আর তাদেরকে তাদের নবী বললেন, নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ তালূতকে তোমাদের জন্য বাদশাহ সাব্যস্ত করেছেন। তারা বলতে লাগল তা কেমন করে হয় যে, তার শাসন চলবে আমাদের উপর। অথচ রাষ্ট্রক্ষমতা পাওয়ার ক্ষেত্রে তার চেয়ে আমাদেরই অধিকার বেশী। আর সে সম্পদের দিক দিয়েও সচ্ছল নয়। নবী বললেন, নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তোমাদের উপর তাকে পছন্দ করেছেন এবং স্বাস্থ্য ও জ্ঞানের দিক দিয়ে প্রাচুর্য দান করেছেন। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ তাকেই রাজ্য দান করেন, যাকে ইচ্ছা। আর আল্লাহ হলেন অনুগ্রহ দানকারী এবং সব বিষয়ে অবগত।
Their Prophet said to them: "Allah hath appointed Talut as king over you." They said: "How can he exercise authority over us when we are better fitted than he to exercise authority, and he is not even gifted, with wealth in abundance?" He said: "Allah hath Chosen him above you, and hath gifted him abundantly with knowledge and bodily prowess: Allah Granteth His authority to whom He pleaseth. Allah careth for all, and He knoweth all things."		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৪৭)
15 আর স্মরণ কর, যখন ইব্রাহীম বলল, হে আমার পালনকর্তা আমাকে দেখাও, কেমন করে তুমি মৃতকে জীবিত করবে। বললেন; তুমি কি বিশ্বাস কর না? বলল, অবশ্যই বিশ্বাস করি, কিন্তু দেখতে এজন্যে চাইছি যাতে অন্তরে প্রশান্তি লাভ করতে পারি। বললেন, তাহলে চারটি পাখী ধরে নাও। পরে সেগুলোকে নিজের পোষ মানিয়ে নাও, অতঃপর সেগুলোর দেহের একেকটি অংশ বিভিন্ন পাহাড়ের উপর রেখে দাও। তারপর সেগুলোকে ডাক; তোমার নিকট দৌড়ে চলে আসবে। আর জেনে রাখো, নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ পরাক্রমশালী, অতি জ্ঞান সম্পন্ন।
When Abraham said: "Show me, Lord, how You will raise the dead, " He replied: "Have you no faith?" He said "Yes, but just to reassure my heart." Allah said, "Take four birds, draw them to you, and cut their bodies to pieces. Scatter them over the mountain-tops, then call them back. They will come swiftly to you. Know that Allah is Mighty, Wise."		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৬০)
16 অতঃপর তোমার নিকট সত্য সংবাদ এসে যাওয়ার পর যদি এই কাহিনী সম্পর্কে তোমার সাথে কেউ বিবাদ করে, তাহলে বল-এসো, আমরা ডেকে নেই আমাদের পুত্রদের এবং তোমাদের পুত্রদের এবং আমাদের স্ত্রীদের ও তোমাদের স্ত্রীদের এবং আমাদের নিজেদের ও তোমাদের নিজেদের আর তারপর চল আমরা সবাই মিলে প্রার্থনা করি এবং তাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর অভিসম্পাত করি যারা মিথ্যাবাদী।
If any one disputes in this matter with thee, now after (full) knowledge Hath come to thee, say: "Come! let us gather together,- our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves: Then let us earnestly pray, and invoke the curse of Allah on those who lie!"		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৬১)
17 যারা তোমাদের ধর্মমতে চলবে, তাদের ছাড়া আর কাউকে বিশ্বাস করবে না। বলে দিন নিঃসন্দেহে হেদায়েত সেটাই, যে হেদায়েত আল্লাহ করেন। আর এসব কিছু এ জন্যে যে, তোমরা যা লাভ করেছিলে তা অন্য কেউ কেন প্রাপ্ত হবে, কিংবা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার সামনে তোমাদের উপর তারা কেন প্রবল হয়ে যাবে! বলে দিন, মর্যাদা আল্লাহরই হাতে; তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা দান করেন এবং আল্লাহ প্রাচুর্যময় ও সর্বজ্ঞ।
"And believe no one unless he follows your religion." Say: "True guidance is the Guidance of Allah: (Fear ye) Lest a revelation be sent to someone (else) Like unto that which was sent unto you? or that those (Receiving such revelation) should engage you in argument before your Lord?" Say: "All bounties are in the hand of Allah: He granteth them to whom He pleaseth: And Allah careth for all, and He knoweth all things."		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৭৩)
18 তারা সবাই সমান নয়। আহলে কিতাবদের মধ্যে কিছু লোক এমনও আছে যারা অবিচলভাবে আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহ পাঠ করে এবং রাতের গভীরে তারা সেজদা করে।
Not all of them are alike: Of the People of the Book are a portion that stand (For the right): They rehearse the Signs of Allah all night long, and they prostrate themselves in adoration.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১১৩)
19 নগরীতে কাফেরদের চাল-চলন যেন তোমাদিগকে ধোঁকা না দেয়।
Let not the strutting about of the Unbelievers through the land deceive thee:		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৯৬)
20 কিন্তু যারা ভয় করে নিজেদের পালনকর্তাকে তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে জান্নাত যার তলদেশে প্রবাহিত রয়েছে প্রস্রবণ। তাতে আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে সদা আপ্যায়ন চলতে থাকবে। আর যা আল্লাহর নিকট রয়েছে, তা সৎকর্মশীলদের জন্যে একান্তই উত্তম।
On the other hand, for those who fear their Lord, are Gardens, with rivers flowing beneath; therein are they to dwell (for ever),- a gift from the presence of Allah; and that which is in the presence of Allah is the best (bliss) for the righteous.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৯৮)
21 এগুলো আল্লাহর নির্ধারিত সীমা। যে কেউ আল্লাহ ও রসূলের আদেশমত চলে, তিনি তাকে জান্নাত সমূহে প্রবেশ করাবেন, যেগুলোর তলদেশ দিয়ে স্রোতস্বিনী প্রবাহিত হবে। তারা সেখানে চিরকাল থাকবে। এ হল বিরাট সাফল্য।
Those are limits set by Allah: those who obey Allah and His Messenger will be admitted to Gardens with rivers flowing beneath, to abide therein (for ever) and that will be the supreme achievement.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৩)
22 তারা চায় যে, তারা যেমন কাফের, তোমরাও তেমনি কাফের হয়ে যাও, যাতে তোমরা এবং তারা সব সমান হয়ে যাও। অতএব, তাদের মধ্যে কাউকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করো না, যে পর্যন্ত না তারা আল্লাহর পথে হিজরত করে চলে আসে। অতঃপর যদি তারা বিমুখ হয়, তবে তাদেরকে পাকড়াও কর এবং যেখানে পাও হত্যা কর। তাদের মধ্যে কাউকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করো না এবং সাহায্যকারী বানিও না।
They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks;-		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৮৯)
23 যারা নিজের অনিষ্ট করে, ফেরেশতারা তাদের প্রাণ হরণ করে বলে, তোমরা কি অবস্থায় ছিলে? তারা বলেঃ এ ভূখন্ডে আমরা অসহায় ছিলাম। ফেরেশতারা বলেঃ আল্লাহর পৃথিবী কি প্রশস্ত ছিল না যে, তোমরা দেশত্যাগ করে সেখানে চলে যেতে? অতএব, এদের বাসস্থান হল জাহান্নাম এবং তা অত্যন্ত মন্দ স্থান।
When angels take the souls of those who die in sin against their souls, they say: "In what (plight) Were ye?" They reply: "Weak and oppressed Were we in the earth." They say: "Was not the earth of Allah spacious enough for you to move yourselves away (From evil)?" Such men will find their abode in Hell,- What an evil refuge! -		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৯৭)
24 যে কেউ রসূলের বিরুদ্ধাচারণ করে, তার কাছে সরল পথ প্রকাশিত হওয়ার পর এবং সব মুসলমানের অনুসৃত পথের বিরুদ্ধে চলে, আমি তাকে ঐ দিকেই ফেরাব যে দিক সে অবলম্বন করেছে এবং তাকে জাহান্নামে নিক্ষেপ করব। আর তা নিকৃষ্টতর গন্তব্যস্থান।
If anyone contends with the Messenger even after guidance has been plainly conveyed to him, and follows a path other than that becoming to men of Faith, We shall leave him in the path he has chosen, and land him in Hell,- what an evil refuge!		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১১৫)
25 আর কোরআনের মাধ্যমে তোমাদের প্রতি এই হুকুম জারি করে দিয়েছেন যে, যখন আল্লাহ তা’ আলার আয়াতসমূহের প্রতি অস্বীকৃতি জ্ঞাপন ও বিদ্রুপ হতে শুনবে, তখন তোমরা তাদের সাথে বসবে না, যতক্ষণ না তারা প্রসঙ্গান্তরে চলে যায়। তা না হলে তোমরাও তাদেরই মত হয়ে যাবে। আল্লাহ দোযখের মাঝে মুনাফেক ও কাফেরদেরকে একই জায়গায় সমবেত করবেন।
Already has He sent you Word in the Book, that when ye hear the signs of Allah held in defiance and ridicule, ye are not to sit with them unless they turn to a different theme: if ye did, ye would be like them. For Allah will collect the hypocrites and those who defy faith - all in Hell:-		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৪০)
26 হে মুমিনগণ, তোমরা আল্লাহর উদ্দেশে ন্যায় সাক্ষ্যদানের ব্যাপারে অবিচল থাকবে এবং কোন সম্প্রদায়ের শত্রুতার কারণে কখনও ন্যায়বিচার পরিত্যাগ করো না। সুবিচার কর এটাই খোদাভীতির অধিক নিকটবর্তী। আল্লাহকে ভয় কর। তোমরা যা কর, নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সে বিষয়ে খুব জ্ঞাত।
O ye who believe! stand out firmly for Allah, as witnesses to fair dealing, and let not the hatred of others to you make you swerve to wrong and depart from justice. Be just: that is next to piety: and fear Allah. For Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৮)
27 বললেনঃ এ দেশ চল্লিশ বছর পর্যন্ত তাদের জন্যে হারাম করা হল। তারা ভুপৃষ্ঠে উদভ্রান্ত হয়ে ফিরবে। অতএব, আপনি অবাধ্য সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে দুঃখ করবেন না।
Allah said: "Therefore will the land be out of their reach for forty years: In distraction will they wander through the land: But sorrow thou not over these rebellious people.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৬)
28 আপনি বলে দিনঃ আমাকে তাদের এবাদত করতে নিষেধ করা হয়েছে, তোমরা আল্লাহকে ছেড়ে যাদের এবাদত কর। আপনি বলে দিনঃ আমি তোমাদের খুশীমত চলবো না। কেননা, তাহলে আমি পথভ্রান্ত হয়ে যাব এবং সুপথগামীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হব না।
Say: "I am forbidden to worship those - others than Allah - whom ye call upon." Say: "I will not follow your wain desires: If I did, I would stray from the path, and be not of the company of those who receive guidance."		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৫৬)
29 আপনি বলে দিনঃ আমার কাছে প্রতিপালকের পক্ষ থেকে একটি প্রমাণ আছে এবং তোমরা তার প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করেছ। তোমরা যে বস্তু শীঘ্র দাবী করছ, তা আমার কাছে নেই। আল্লাহ ছাড়া কারো নির্দেশ চলে না। তিনি সত্য বর্ণনা করেন এবং তিনিই শ্রেষ্ঠতম মীমাংসাকারী।
Say: "For me, I (work) on a clear sign from my Lord, but ye reject Him. What ye would see hastened, is not in my power. The command rests with none but Allah: He declares the truth, and He is the best of judges."		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৫৭)
30 আর যে মৃত ছিল অতঃপর আমি তাকে জীবিত করেছি এবং তাকে এমন একটি আলো দিয়েছি, যা নিয়ে সে মানুষের মধ্যে চলাফেরা করে। সে কি ঐ ব্যক্তির সমতুল্য হতে পারে, যে অন্ধকারে রয়েছে-সেখান থেকে বের হতে পারছে না? এমনিভাবে কাফেরদের দৃষ্টিতে তাদের কাজকর্মকে সুশোভিত করে দেয়া হয়েছে।
Can he who was dead, to whom We gave life, and a light whereby he can walk amongst men, be like him who is in the depths of darkness, from which he can never come out? Thus to those without faith their own deeds seem pleasing.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১২২)
31 তোমাদেরকে এ নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন, যেন তোমরা উপদেশ গ্রহণ কর। নিশ্চিত এটি আমার সরল পথ। অতএব, এ পথে চল এবং অন্যান্য পথে চলো না। তা হলে সেসব পথ তোমাদেরকে তাঁর পথ থেকে বিচ্ছিন্ন করে দিবে। তোমাদেরকে এ নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন, যাতে তোমরা সংযত হও।
Verily, this is My way, leading straight: follow it: follow not (other) paths: they will scatter you about from His (great) path: thus doth He command you. that ye may be righteous.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৩)
32 কিংবা বলতে শুরু করঃ যদি আমাদের প্রতি কোন গ্রন্থ অবতীর্ণ হত, আমরা এদের চাইতে অধিক পথপ্রাপ্ত হতাম। অতএব, তোমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের কাছে সুষ্পষ্ট প্রমাণ, হেদায়েত ও রহমত এসে গেছে। অতঃপর সে ব্যক্তির চাইতে অধিক অনাচারী কে হবে, যে আল্লাহর আয়াত সমূহকে মিথ্যা বলে এবং গা বাঁচিয়ে চলে। অতি সত্ত্বর আমি তাদেরকে শাস্তি দেব। যারা আমার আয়াত সমূহ থেকে গা বাঁচিয়ে চলে-জঘন্য শাস্তি তাদের গা বাঁচানোর কারণে।
Or lest ye should say: "If the Book had only been sent down to us, we should have followed its guidance better than they." Now then hath come unto you a clear (sign) from your Lord,- and a guide and a mercy: then who could do more wrong than one who rejecteth Allah's signs, and turneth away therefrom? In good time shall We requite those who turn away from Our signs, with a dreadful penalty, for their turning away.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৭)
33 আল্লাহ বললেনঃ বের হয়ে যা এখান থেকে লাঞ্ছিত ও অপমানিত হয়ে। তাদের যে কেউ তোর পথেচলবে, নিশ্চয় আমি তোদের সবার দ্বারা জাহান্নাম পূর্ণ করে দিব।
(Allah) said: "Get out from this, disgraced and expelled. If any of them follow thee,- Hell will I fill with you all.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৮)
34 আল্লাহ বলবেনঃ তোমাদের পূর্বে জিন ও মানবের যেসব সম্প্রদায় চলে গেছে, তাদের সাথে তোমরাও দোযখে যাও। যখন এক সম্প্রদায় প্রবেশ করবে; তখন অন্য সম্প্রদায়কে অভিসম্পাত করবে। এমনকি, যখন তাতে সবাই পতিত হবে, তখন পরবর্তীরা পূর্ববর্তীদের সম্পর্কে বলবেঃ হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক এরাই আমাদেরকে বিপথগামী করেছিল। অতএব, আপনি তাদেরকে দ্বিগুণ শাস্তি দিন। আল্লাহ বলবেন প্রত্যেকেরই দ্বিগুণ; তোমরা জান না।
He will say: "Enter ye in the company of the peoples who passed away before you - men and jinns, - into the Fire." Every time a new people enters, it curses its sister-people (that went before), until they follow each other, all into the Fire. Saith the last about the first: "Our Lord! it is these that misled us: so give them a double penalty in the Fire." He will say: "Doubled for all": but this ye do not understand.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৮)
35 আর যাদেরকে দুর্বল মনে করা হত তাদেরকেও আমি উত্তরাধিকার দান করেছি এ ভুখন্ডের পূর্ব ও পশ্চিম অঞ্চলের যাতে আমি বরকত সন্নিহিত রেখেছি এবং পরিপূর্ণ হয়ে গেছে তোমার পালনকর্তার প্রতিশ্রুত কল্যাণ বনী-ইসরাঈলদের জন্য তাদের ধৈর্য্যধারণের দরুন। আর ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছে সে সবকিছু যা তৈরী করেছিল ফেরাউন ও তার সম্প্রদায় এবং ধ্বংস করেছি যা কিছু তারা সুউচ্চ নির্মাণ করেছিল।
And We made a people, considered weak (and of no account), inheritors of lands in both east and west, - lands whereon We sent down Our blessings. The fair promise of thy Lord was fulfilled for the Children of Israel, because they had patience and constancy, and We levelled to the ground the great works and fine buildings which Pharaoh and his people erected (with such pride).		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৭)
36 আর আমি মূসাকে প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছি ত্রিশ রাত্রির এবং সেগুলোকে পূর্ন করেছি আরো দশ দ্বারা। বস্তুতঃ এভাবে চল্লিশ রাতের মেয়াদ পূর্ণ হয়ে গেছে। আর মূসা তাঁর ভাই হারুনকে বললেন, আমার সম্প্রদায়ে তুমি আমার প্রতিনিধি হিসাবে থাক। তাদের সংশোধন করতে থাক এবং হাঙ্গামা সৃষ্টিকারীদের পথে চলো না।
We appointed for Moses thirty nights, and completed (the period) with ten (more): thus was completed the term (of communion) with his Lord, forty nights. And Moses had charged his brother Aaron (before he went up): "Act for me amongst my people: Do right, and follow not the way of those who do mischief."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৪২)
37 আর আল্লাহর জন্য রয়েছে সব উত্তম নাম। কাজেই সে নাম ধরেই তাঁকে ডাক। আর তাদেরকে বর্জন কর, যারা তাঁর নামের ব্যাপারে বাঁকা পথে চলে। তারা নিজেদের কৃতকর্মের ফল শীঘ্রই পাবে।
The most beautiful names belong to Allah: so call on him by them; but shun such men as use profanity in his names: for what they do, they will soon be requited.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৮০)
38 তিনিই সে সত্তা যিনি তোমাদিগকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন একটি মাত্র সত্তা থেকে; আর তার থেকেই তৈরী করেছেন তার জোড়া, যাতে তার কাছে স্বস্তি পেতে পারে। অতঃপর পুরুষ যখন নারীকে আবৃত করল, তখন, সে গর্ভবতী হল। অতি হালকা গর্ভ। সে তাই নিয়ে চলাফেরা করতে থাকল। তারপর যখন বোঝা হয়ে গেল, তখন উভয়েই আল্লাহকে ডাকল যিনি তাদের পালনকর্তা যে, তুমি যদি আমাদিগকে সুস্থ ও ভাল দান কর তবে আমরা তোমার শুকরিয়া আদায় করব।
It is He Who created you from a single person, and made his mate of like nature, in order that he might dwell with her (in love). When they are united, she bears a light burden and carries it about (unnoticed). When she grows heavy, they both pray to Allah their Lord, (saying): "If Thou givest us a goodly child, we vow we shall (ever) be grateful."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৮৯)
39 আর তোমরা যদি তাদেরকে আহবান কর সুপথের দিকে, তবে তারা তোমাদের আহবান অনুযায়ী চলবে না। তাদেরকে আহবান জানানো কিংবা নীরব থাকা উভয়টিই তোমাদের জন্য সমান।
If ye call them to guidance, they will not obey: For you it is the same whether ye call them or ye hold your peace!		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৯৩)
40 তাদের কি পা আছে, যদ্বারা তারা চলাফেরা করে, কিংবা তাদের কি হাত আছে, যদ্বারা তারা ধরে। অথবা তাদের কি চোখ আছে যদ্বারা তারা দেখতে পায় কিংবা তাদের কি কান আছে যদ্বারা শুনতে পায়? বলে দাও, তোমরা ডাক তোমাদের অংশীদারদিগকে, অতঃপর আমার অমঙ্গল কর এবং আমাকে অবকাশ দিও না।
Have they feet to walk with? Or hands to lay hold with? Or eyes to see with? Or ears to hear with? Say: "Call your 'god-partners', scheme (your worst) against me, and give me no respite!		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৯৫)
41 আর যখন আপনি তাদের নিকট কোন নিদর্শন নিয়ে না যান, তখন তারা বলে, আপনি নিজের পক্ষ থেকে কেন অমুকটি নিয়ে আসলেন না, তখন আপনি বলে দিন, আমি তো সে মতেই চলি যে হুকুম আমার নিকট আসে আমার পরওয়ারদেগারের কাছ থেকে। এটা ভাববার বিষয় তোমাদের পরওয়ারদেগারের পক্ষ থেকে এবং হেদায়েত ও রহমত সেসব লোকের জন্য যারা ঈমান এনেছে।
If thou bring them not a revelation, they say: "Why hast thou not got it together?" Say: "I but follow what is revealed to me from my Lord: this is (nothing but) lights from your Lord, and Guidance, and mercy, for any who have faith."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ২০৩)
42 আর আল্লাহ তা’আলার নির্দেশ মান্য কর এবং তাঁর রসূলের। তাছাড়া তোমরা পরস্পরে বিবাদে লিপ্ত হইও না। যদি তা কর, তবে তোমরা কাপুরুষ হয়ে পড়বে এবং তোমাদের প্রভাব চলে যাবে। আর তোমরা ধৈর্য্যধারণ কর। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ তা'আলা রয়েছেন ধৈর্য্যশীলদের সাথে।
And obey Allah and His Messenger; and fall into no disputes, lest ye lose heart and your power depart; and be patient and persevering: For Allah is with those who patiently persevere:		 (আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৪৬)
43 তারা আল্লাহর আয়াত সমূহ নগন্য মুল্যে বিক্রয় করে, অতঃপর লোকদের নিবৃত রাখে তাঁর পথ থেকে, তারা যা করে চলছে, তা অতি নিকৃষ্ট।
The Signs of Allah have they sold for a miserable price, and (many) have they hindered from His way: evil indeed are the deeds they have done.		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৯)
44 ইহুদীরা বলে ওযাইর আল্লাহর পুত্র এবং নাসারারা বলে ‘মসীহ আল্লাহর পুত্র’। এ হচ্ছে তাদের মুখের কথা। এরা পূর্ববর্তী কাফেরদের মত কথা বলে। আল্লাহ এদের ধ্বংস করুন, এরা কোন উল্টা পথে চলে যাচ্ছে।
The Jews call 'Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩০)
45 হে ঈমানদারগণ! পন্ডিত ও সংসারবিরাগীদের অনেকে লোকদের মালামাল অন্যায়ভাবে ভোগ করে চলছে এবং আল্লাহর পথ থেকে লোকদের নিবৃত রাখছে। আর যারা স্বর্ণ ও রূপা জমা করে রাখে এবং তা ব্যয় করে না আল্লাহর পথে, তাদের কঠোর আযাবের সুসংবাদ শুনিয়ে দিন।
O ye who believe! there are indeed many among the priests and anchorites, who in Falsehood devour the substance of men and hinder (them) from the way of Allah. And there are those who bury gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah: announce unto them a most grievous penalty-		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৪)
46 নিঃসন্দেহে তারাই আপনার কাছে অব্যাহতি চায়, যারা আল্লাহ ও রোজ কেয়ামতে ঈমান রাখে না এবং তাদের অন্তর সন্দেহগ্রস্ত হয়ে পড়েছে, সুতরাং সন্দেহের আবর্তে তারা ঘুরপাক খেয়ে চলেছে।
Only those ask thee for exemption who believe not in Allah and the Last Day, and whose hearts are in doubt, so that they are tossed in their doubts to and fro.		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৫)
47 যেমন করে তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তী লোকেরা তোমাদের চেয়ে বেশী ছিল শক্তিতে এবং ধন-সম্পদের ও সন্তান-সন্ততির অধিকারীও ছিল বেশী; অতঃপর উপকৃত হয়েছে নিজেদের ভাগের দ্বারা আবার তোমরা ফায়দা উঠিয়েছ তোমাদের ভাগের দ্বারা-যেমন করে তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা ফায়দা উঠিয়েছিল নিজেদের ভাগের দ্বারা। আর তোমরাও বলছ তাদেরই চলন অনুযায়ী। তারা ছিল সে লোক, যাদের আমলসমূহ নিঃশেষিত হয়ে গেছে দুনিয়া ও আখেরাতে। আর তারাই হয়েছে ক্ষতির সম্মুখীন।
As in the case of those before you: they were mightier than you in power, and more flourishing in wealth and children. They had their enjoyment of their portion: and ye have of yours, as did those before you; and ye indulge in idle talk as they did. They!- their work are fruitless in this world and in the Hereafter, and they will lose (all spiritual good).		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৯)
48 আল্লাহ ক্রয় করে নিয়েছেন মুসলমানদের থেকে তাদের জান ও মাল এই মূল্যে যে, তাদের জন্য রয়েছে জান্নাত। তারা যুদ্ধ করে আল্লাহর রাহেঃ অতঃপর মারে ও মরে। তওরাত, ইঞ্জিল ও কোরআনে তিনি এ সত্য প্রতিশ্রুতিতে অবিচল। আর আল্লাহর চেয়ে প্রতিশ্রুতি রক্ষায় কে অধিক? সুতরাং তোমরা আনন্দিত হও সে লেন-দেনের উপর, যা তোমরা করছ তাঁর সাথে। আর এ হল মহান সাফল্য।
Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth, through the Law, the Gospel, and the Qur'an: and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah? then rejoice in the bargain which ye have concluded: that is the achievement supreme.		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১১১)
49 আর যখন মানুষ কষ্টের সম্মুখীন হয়, শুয়ে বসে, দাঁড়িয়ে আমাকে ডাকতে থাকে। তারপর আমি যখন তা থেকে মুক্ত করে দেই, সে কষ্ট যখন চলে যায় তখন মনে হয় কখনো কোন কষ্টেরই সম্মুখীন হয়ে যেন আমাকে ডাকেইনি। এমনিভাবে মনঃপুত হয়েছে নির্ভয় লোকদের যা তারা করেছে।
When trouble toucheth a man, He crieth unto Us (in all postures)- lying down on his side, or sitting, or standing. But when We have solved his trouble, he passeth on his way as if he had never cried to Us for a trouble that touched him! thus do the deeds of transgressors seem fair in their eyes!		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ১২)
50 তিনিই তোমাদের ভ্রমন করান স্থলে ও সাগরে। এমনকি যখন তোমরা নৌকাসমূহে আরোহণ করলে আর তা লোকজনকে অনুকূল হাওয়ায় বয়ে নিয়ে চলল এবং তাতে তারা আনন্দিত হল, নৌকাগুলোর উপর এল তীব্র বাতাস, আর সর্বদিক থেকে সেগুলোর উপর ঢেউ আসতে লাগল এবং তারা জানতে পারল যে, তারা অবরুদ্ধ হয়ে পড়েছে, তখন ডাকতে লাগল আল্লাহকে তাঁর এবাদতে নিঃস্বার্থ হয়ে যদি তুমি আমাদেরকে এ বিপদ থেকে উদ্ধার করে তোল, তাহলে নিঃসন্দেহে আমরা কৃতজ্ঞ থাকব।
He it is Who enableth you to traverse through land and sea; so that ye even board ships;- they sail with them with a favourable wind, and they rejoice thereat; then comes a stormy wind and the waves come to them from all sides, and they think they are being overwhelmed: they cry unto Allah, sincerely offering (their) duty unto Him saying, "If thou dost deliver us from this, we shall truly show our gratitude!"		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ২২)
51 বস্তুতঃ তাদের অধিকাংশই শুধু আন্দাজ-অনুমানের উপর চলে, অথচ আন্দাজ-অনুমান সত্যের বেলায় কোন কাজেই আসে না। আল্লাহ ভাল করেই জানেন, তারা যা কিছু করে।
But most of them follow nothing but fancy: truly fancy can be of no avail against truth. Verily Allah is well aware of all that they do.		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬)
52 বললেন, তোমাদের দোয়া মঞ্জুর হয়েছে। অতএব তোমরা দুজন অটল থাকো এবং তাদের পথে চলো না যারা অজ্ঞ।
Allah said: "Accepted is your prayer (O Moses and Aaron)! So stand ye straight, and follow not the path of those who know not."		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৮৯)
53 আর তুমি চল সে অনুযায়ী যেমন নির্দেশ আসে তোমার প্রতি এবং সবর কর, যতক্ষণ না ফয়সালা করেন আল্লাহ। বস্তুতঃ তিনি হচ্ছেন সর্বোত্তম ফয়সালাকারী।
Follow thou the inspiration sent unto thee, and be patient and constant, till Allah do decide: for He is the best to decide.		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ১০৯)
54 আর নৌকাখানি তাদের বহন করে চলল পর্বত প্রমাণ তরঙ্গমালার মাঝে, আর নূহ (আঃ) তাঁর পুত্রকে ডাক দিলেন আর সে সরে রয়েছিল, তিনি বললেন, প্রিয় বৎস! আমাদের সাথে আরোহন কর এবং কাফেরদের সাথে থেকো না।
So the Ark floated with them on the waves (towering) like mountains, and Noah called out to his son, who had separated himself (from the rest): "O my son! embark with us, and be not with the unbelievers!"		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৪২)
55 এটি গায়বের খবর, আমি আপনার প্রতি ওহী প্রেরন করছি। ইতিপূর্বে এটা আপনার এবং আপনার জাতির জানা ছিল না। আপনি ধৈর্য্যধারণ করুন। যারা ভয় করে চলে, তাদের পরিণাম ভাল, সন্দেহ নেই।
Such are some of the stories of the unseen, which We have revealed unto thee: before this, neither thou nor thy people knew them. So persevere patiently: for the End is for those who are righteous.		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯)
56 আর সামুদ জাতি প্রতি তাদের ভাই সালেহ কে প্রেরণ করি; তিনি বললেন, হে আমার জাতি। আল্লাহর বন্দেগী কর, তিনি ছাড়া তোমাদের কোন উপাস্য নাই। তিনিই যমীন হতে তোমাদেরকে পয়দা করেছেন, তন্মধ্যে তোমাদেরকে বসতি দান করেছেন। অতএব; তাঁর কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা কর অতঃপর তাঁরই দিকে ফিরে চল আমার পালনকর্তা নিকটেই আছেন, কবুল করে থাকেন; সন্দেহ নেই।
To the Thamud People (We sent) Salih, one of their own brethren. He said: "O my people! Worship Allah: ye have no other god but Him. It is He Who hath produced you from the earth and settled you therein: then ask forgiveness of Him, and turn to Him (in repentance): for my Lord is (always) near, ready to answer."		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৬১)
57 মেহমান ফেরেশতাগন বলল-হে লূত (আঃ) আমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ হতে প্রেরিত ফেরেশতা। এরা কখনো তোমার দিকে পৌঁছাতে পারবে না। ব্যস তুমি কিছুটা রাত থাকতে থাকতে নিজের লোকজন নিয়ে বাইরে চলে যাও। আর তোমাদের কেউ যেন পিছনে ফিরে না তাকায়। কিন্তু তোমার স্ত্রী নিশ্চয় তার উপরও তা আপতিত হবে, যা ওদের উপর আপতিত হবে। ভোর বেলাই তাদের প্রতিশ্রুতির সময়, ভোর কি খুব নিকটে নয়?
(The Messengers) said: "O Lut! We are Messengers from thy Lord! By no means shall they reach thee! now travel with thy family while yet a part of the night remains, and let not any of you look back: but thy wife (will remain behind): To her will happen what happens to the people. Morning is their time appointed: Is not the morning nigh?"		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৮১)
58 ফেরাউন ও তার পারিষদবর্গের কাছে, তবুও তারা ফেরাউনের হুকুমে চলতে থাকে, অথচ ফেরাউনের কোন কথা ন্যায় সঙ্গত ছিল না।
Unto Pharaoh and his chiefs: but they followed the command of Pharaoh and the command of Pharaoh was no right (guide).		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৯৭)
59 অতএব, তুমি এবং তোমার সাথে যারা তওবা করেছে সবাই সোজা পথে চলে যাও-যেমন তোমায় হুকুম দেয়া হয়েছে এবং সীমা লঙ্ঘন করবে না, তোমরা যা কিছু করছ, নিশ্চয় তিনি তার প্রতি দৃষ্টি রাখেন।
Therefore stand firm (in the straight Path) as thou art commanded,- thou and those who with thee turn (unto Allah); and transgress not (from the Path): for He seeth well all that ye do.		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ১১২)
60 অতঃপর তারা যখন তাকে নিয়ে চলল এবং অন্ধকূপে নিক্ষেপ করতে একমত হল এবং আমি তাকে ইঙ্গিত করলাম যে, তুমি তাদেরকে তাদের এ কাজের কথা বলবে এমতাবস্থায় যে, তারা তোমাকে চিনবে না।
So they did take him away, and they all agreed to throw him down to the bottom of the well: and We put into his heart (this Message): 'Of a surety thou shalt (one day) tell them the truth of this their affair while they know (thee) not'		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৫)
61 যখন সে তাদের চক্রান্ত শুনল, তখন তাদেরকে ডেকে পাঠাল এবং তাদের জন্যে একটি ভোজ সভার আয়োজন করল। সে তাদের প্রত্যেককে একটি ছুরি দিয়ে বললঃ ইউসুফ এদের সামনে চলে এস। যখন তারা তাকে দেখল, হতভম্ব হয়ে গেল এবং আপন হাত কেটে ফেলল। তারা বললঃ কখনই নয় এ ব্যক্তি মানব নয়। এ তো কোন মহান ফেরেশতা।
When she heard of their malicious talk, she sent for them and prepared a banquet for them: she gave each of them a knife: and she said (to Joseph), "Come out before them." When they saw him, they did extol him, and (in their amazement) cut their hands: they said, "Allah preserve us! no mortal is this! this is none other than a noble angel!"		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩১)
62 ইয়াকুব বললেনঃ হে আমার বৎসগণ! সবাই একই প্রবেশদ্বার দিয়ে যেয়ো না, বরং পৃথক পৃথক দরজা দিয়ে প্রবেশ করো। আল্লাহর কোন বিধান থেকে আমি তোমাদেরকে রক্ষা করতে পারি না। নির্দেশ আল্লাহরই চলে। তাঁরই উপর আমি ভরসা করি এবং তাঁরই উপর ভরসা করা উচিত ভরসাকারীদের।
Further he said: "O my sons! enter not all by one gate: enter ye by different gates. Not that I can profit you aught against Allah (with my advice): None can command except Allah: On Him do I put my trust: and let all that trust put their trust on Him."		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৭)
63 যদি কোন কোরআন এমন হত, যার সাহায্যে পাহাড় চলমান হয় অথবা যমীন খন্ডিত হয় অথবা মৃতরা কথা বলে, তবে কি হত? বরং সব কাজ তো আল্লাহর হাতে। ঈমানদাররা কি এ ব্যাপারে নিশ্চিত নয় যে, যদি আল্লাহ চাইতেন, তবে সব মানুষকে সৎপথে পরিচালিত করতেন? কাফেররা তাদের কৃতকর্মের কারণে সব সময় আঘাত পেতে থাকবে অথবা তাদের গৃহের নিকটবর্তী স্থানে আঘাত নেমে আসবে, যে, পর্যন্ত আল্লাহর ওয়াদা না আসে। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ ওয়াদার খেলাফ করেন না।
If there were a Qur'an with which mountains were moved, or the earth were cloven asunder, or the dead were made to speak, (this would be the one!) But, truly, the command is with Allah in all things! Do not the Believers know, that, had Allah (so) willed, He could have guided all mankind (to the right)? But the Unbelievers,- never will disaster cease to seize them for their (ill) deeds, or to settle close to their homes, until the promise of Allah come to pass, for, verily, Allah will not fail in His promise.		 (রা'দ:
আয়াতঃ ৩১)
64 তিনিই আল্লাহ, যিনি নভোমন্ডল ও ভুমন্ডল সৃজন করেছেন এবং আকাশ থেকে পানি বর্ষণ করে অতঃপর তা দ্বারা তোমাদের জন্যে ফলের রিযিক উৎপন্ন করেছেন এবং নৌকাকে তোমাদের আজ্ঞাবহ করেছেন, যাতে তাঁর আদেশে সমুদ্রে চলা ফেরা করে এবং নদ-নদীকে তোমাদের সেবায় নিয়োজিত করেছেন।
It is Allah Who hath created the heavens and the earth and sendeth down rain from the skies, and with it bringeth out fruits wherewith to feed you; it is He Who hath made the ships subject to you, that they may sail through the sea by His command; and the rivers (also) hath He made subject to you.		 (ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ৩২)
65 ওরা এর প্রতি বিশ্বাস করবে না। পূর্ববর্তীদের এমন রীতি চলে আসছে।
That they should not believe in the (Message); but the ways of the ancients have passed away.		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ১৩)
66 যারা আমার বান্দা, তাদের উপর তোমার কোন ক্ষমতা নেই; কিন্তু পথভ্রান্তদের মধ্য থেকে যারা তোমার পথে চলে।
"For over My servants no authority shalt thou have, except such as put themselves in the wrong and follow thee."		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ৪২)
67 অতএব আপনি শেষরাত্রে পরিবারের সকলকে নিয়ে চলে যান এবং আপনি তাদের পশ্চাদনুসরণ করবেন না এবং আপনাদের মধ্যে কেউ যেন পিছন ফিরে না দেখে। আপনারা যেখানে আদেশ প্রাপ্ত হচ্ছেন সেখানে যান।
"Then travel by night with thy household, when a portion of the night (yet remains), and do thou bring up the rear: let no one amongst you look back, but pass on whither ye are ordered."		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ৬৫)
68 তিনিই কাজে লাগিয়ে দিয়েছেন সমুদ্রকে, যাতে তা থেকে তোমরা তাজা মাংস খেতে পার এবং তা থেকে বের করতে পার পরিধেয় অলঙ্কার। তুমি তাতে জলযান সমূহকে পানি চিরে চলতে দেখবে এবং যাতে তোমরা আল্লাহর কৃপা অন্বেষণ কর এবং যাতে তার অনুগ্রহ স্বীকার কর।
It is He Who has made the sea subject, that ye may eat thereof flesh that is fresh and tender, and that ye may extract therefrom ornaments to wear; and thou seest the ships therein that plough the waves, that ye may seek (thus) of the bounty of Allah and that ye may be grateful.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
69 কিংবা চলাফেরার মধ্যেই তাদেরকে পাকড়াও করবে, তারা তো তা ব্যর্থ করতে পারবে না।
Or that He may not call them to account in the midst of their goings to and fro, without a chance of their frustrating Him?-		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৪৬)
70 যদি আল্লাহ লোকদেরকে তাদের অন্যায় কাজের কারণে পাকড়াও করতেন, তবে ভুপৃষ্ঠে চলমান কোন কিছুকেই ছাড়তেন না। কিন্তু তিনি প্রতিশ্রুতি সময় পর্যন্ত তাদেরকে অবকাশ দেন। অতঃপর নির্ধারিত সময়ে যখন তাদের মৃত্যু এসে যাবে, তখন এক মুহুর্তও বিলম্বিত কিংবা তরাম্বিত করতে পারবে না।
If Allah were to punish men for their wrong-doing, He would not leave, on the (earth), a single living creature: but He gives them respite for a stated Term: When their Term expires, they would not be able to delay (the punishment) for a single hour, just as they would not be able to anticipate it (for a single hour).		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৬১)
71 এরপর সর্বপ্রকার ফল থেকে ভক্ষণ কর এবং আপন পালনকর্তার উম্মুক্ত পথ সমূহে চলমান হও। তার পেট থেকে বিভিন্ন রঙে পানীয় নির্গত হয়। তাতে মানুষের জন্যে রয়েছে রোগের প্রতিকার। নিশ্চয় এতে চিন্তাশীল সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে নিদর্শন রয়েছে।
Then to eat of all the produce (of the earth), and find with skill the spacious paths of its Lord: there issues from within their bodies a drink of varying colours, wherein is healing for men: verily in this is a Sign for those who give thought.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৬৯)
72 তার আধিপত্য চলে না তাদের উপর যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং আপন পালন কর্তার উপর ভরসা রাখে।
No authority has he over those who believe and put their trust in their Lord.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৯৯)
73 তার আধিপত্য তো তাদের উপরই চলে, যারা তাকে বন্ধু মনে করে এবং যারা তাকে অংশীদার মানে।
His authority is over those only, who take him as patron and who join partners with Allah.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ১০০)
74 যে কেউ সৎপথে চলে, তারা নিজের মঙ্গলের জন্যেই সৎ পথে চলে। আর যে পথভ্রষ্ট হয়, তারা নিজের অমঙ্গলের জন্যেই পথ ভ্রষ্ট হয়। কেউ অপরের বোঝা বহন করবে না। কোন রাসূল না পাঠানো পর্যন্ত আমি কাউকেই শাস্তি দান করি না।
Who receiveth guidance, receiveth it for his own benefit: who goeth astray doth so to his own loss: No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another: nor would We visit with Our Wrath until We had sent an messenger (to give warning).		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ১৫)
75 আমি তাদের অন্তরের উপর আবরণ রেখে দেই, যাতে তারা একে উপলব্ধি করতে না পারে এবং তাদের কর্ণকুহরে বোঝা চাপিয়ে দেই। যখন আপনি কোরআনে পালনকর্তার একত্ব আবৃত্তি করেন, তখন ও অনীহাবশতঃ ওরা পৃষ্ট প্রদর্শন করে চলে যায়।
And We put coverings over their hearts (and minds) lest they should understand the Qur'an, and deafness into their ears: when thou dost commemorate thy Lord and Him alone in the Qur'an, they turn on their backs, fleeing (from the Truth).		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৪৬)
76 যেদিন তিনি তোমাদেরকে আহবান করবেন, অতঃপর তোমরা তাঁর প্রশংসা করতে করতে চলে আসবে। এবং তোমরা অনুমান করবে যে, সামান্য সময়ই অবস্থান করেছিলে।
"It will be on a Day when He will call you, and ye will answer (His call) with (words of) His praise, and ye will think that ye tarried but a little while!"		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৫২)
77 আল্লাহ বলেনঃ চলে যা, অতঃপর তাদের মধ্য থেকে যে তোর অনুগামী হবে, জাহান্নামই হবে তাদের সবার শাস্তি-ভরপুর শাস্তি।
(Allah) said: "Go thy way; if any of them follow thee, verily Hell will be the recompense of you (all)- an ample recompense.		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৬৩)
78 নিশ্চয় আমি আদম সন্তানকে মর্যাদা দান করেছি, আমি তাদেরকে স্থলে ও জলে চলাচলের বাহন দান করেছি; তাদেরকে উত্তম জীবনোপকরণ প্রদান করেছি এবং তাদেরকে অনেক সৃষ্ট বস্তুর উপর শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দান করেছি।
We have honoured the sons of Adam; provided them with transport on land and sea; given them for sustenance things good and pure; and conferred on them special favours, above a great part of our creation.		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৭০)
79 আল্লাহ যাকে পথ প্রদর্শন করেন, সেই তো সঠিক পথ প্রাপ্ত এবং যাকে পথ ভ্রষ্ট করেন, তাদের জন্যে আপনি আল্লাহ ছাড়া কোন সাহায্যকারী পাবেন না। আমি কেয়ামতের দিন তাদের সমবেত করব তাদের মুখে ভর দিয়ে চলা অবস্থায়, অন্ধ অবস্থায়, মুক অবস্থায় এবং বধির অবস্থায়। তাদের আবাসস্থল জাহান্নাম। যখনই নির্বাপিত হওয়ার উপক্রম হবে আমি তখন তাদের জন্যে অগ্নি আরও বৃদ্ধি করে দিব।
It is he whom Allah guides, that is on true Guidance; but he whom He leaves astray - for such wilt thou find no protector besides Him. On the Day of Judgment We shall gather, them together, prone on their faces, blind, dumb, and deaf: their abode will be Hell: every time it shows abatement, We shall increase from them the fierceness of the Fire.		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৯৭)
80 তিনি বললেনঃ তুমি জান যে, আসমান ও যমীনের পালনকর্তাই এসব নিদর্শনাবলী প্রত্যক্ষ প্রমাণস্বরূপ নাযিল করেছেন। হে ফেরাউন, আমার ধারণায় তুমি ধ্বংস হতে চলেছো।
Moses said, "Thou knowest well that these things have been sent down by none but the Lord of the heavens and the earth as eye-opening evidence: and I consider thee indeed, O Pharaoh, to be one doomed to destruction!"		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ১০২)
81 আপনার কাছে তাদের ইতিবৃত্তান্ত সঠিকভাবে বর্ণনা করছি। তারা ছিল কয়েকজন যুবক। তারা তাদের পালনকর্তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছিল এবং আমি তাদের সৎপথে চলার শক্তি বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছিলাম।
We relate to thee their story in truth: they were youths who believed in their Lord, and We advanced them in guidance:		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৩)
82 তুমি সূর্যকে দেখবে, যখন উদিত হয়, তাদের গুহা থেকে পাশ কেটে ডান দিকে চলে যায় এবং যখন অস্ত যায়, তাদের থেকে পাশ কেটে বামদিকে চলে যায়, অথচ তারা গুহার প্রশস্ত চত্বরে অবস্থিত। এটা আল্লাহর নিদর্শনাবলীর অন্যতম। আল্লাহ যাকে সৎপথে চালান, সেই সৎপথ প্রাপ্ত এবং তিনি যাকে পথভ্রষ্ট করেন, আপনি কখনও তার জন্যে পথপ্রদর্শনকারী ও সাহায্যকারী পাবেন না।
Thou wouldst have seen the sun, when it rose, declining to the right from their Cave, and when it set, turning away from them to the left, while they lay in the open space in the midst of the Cave. Such are among the Signs of Allah: He whom Allah, guides is rightly guided; but he whom Allah leaves to stray,- for him wilt thou find no protector to lead him to the Right Way.		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৭)
83 অতঃপর তার সব ফল ধ্বংস হয়ে গেল এবং সে তাতে যা ব্যয় করেছিল, তার জন্য সকালে হাত কচলিয়ে আক্ষেপ করতে লাগল। বাগনটি কাঠসহ পুড়ে গিয়েছিল। সে বলতে লাগলঃ হায়, আমি যদি কাউকে আমার পালনকর্তার সাথে শরীক না করতাম।
So his fruits (and enjoyment) were encompassed (with ruin), and he remained twisting and turning his hands over what he had spent on his property, which had (now) tumbled to pieces to its very foundations, and he could only say, "Woe is me! Would I had never ascribed partners to my Lord and Cherisher!"		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪২)
84 যখন মূসা তাঁর যুবক (সঙ্গী) কে বললেনঃ দুই সমুদ্রের সঙ্গমস্থলে না পৌছা পর্যন্ত আমি আসব না অথবা আমি যুগ যুগ ধরে চলতে থাকব।
Behold, Moses said to his attendant, "I will not give up until I reach the junction of the two seas or (until) I spend years and years in travel."		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬০)
85 মূসা বললেনঃ আমরা তো এ স্থানটিই খুঁজছিলাম। অতঃপর তাঁরা নিজেদের চিহ্ন ধরে ফিরে চললেন।
Moses said: "That was what we were seeking after:" So they went back on their footsteps, following (the path they had come).		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৪)
86 অতঃপর তারা চলতে লাগলঃ অবশেষে যখন তারা নৌকায় আরোহণ করল, তখন তিনি তাতে ছিদ্র করে দিলেন। মূসা বললেনঃ আপনি কি এর আরোহীদেরকে ডুবিয়ে দেয়ার জন্যে এতে ছিদ্র করে দিলেন? নিশ্চয়ই আপনি একটি গুরুতর মন্দ কাজ করলেন।
So they both proceeded: until, when they were in the boat, he scuttled it. Said Moses: "Hast thou scuttled it in order to drown those in it? Truly a strange thing hast thou done!"		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭১)
87 অতঃপর তারা চলতে লাগল। অবশেষে যখন একটি বালকের সাক্ষাত পেলেন, তখন তিনি তাকে হত্যা করলেন। মূসা বললেন? আপনি কি একটি নিস্পাপ জীবন শেষ করে দিলেন প্রাণের বিনিময় ছাড়াই? নিশ্চয়ই আপনি তো এক গুরুতর অন্যায় কাজ করলেন।
Then they proceeded: until, when they met a young man, he slew him. Moses said: "Hast thou slain an innocent person who had slain none? Truly a foul (unheard of) thing hast thou done!"		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৪)
88 অতঃপর তারা চলতে লাগল, অবশেষে যখন একটি জনপদের অধিবাসীদের কাছে পৌছে তাদের কাছে খাবার চাইল, তখন তারা তাদের অতিথেয়তা করতে অস্বীকার করল। অতঃপর তারা সেখানে একটি পতনোম্মুখ প্রাচীর দেখতে পেলেন, সেটি তিনি সোজা করে দাঁড় করিয়ে দিলেন। মূসা বললেনঃ আপনি ইচ্ছা করলে তাদের কাছ থেকে এর পারিশ্রমিক আদায় করতে পারতেন।
Then they proceeded: until, when they came to the inhabitants of a town, they asked them for food, but they refused them hospitality. They found there a wall on the point of falling down, but he set it up straight. (Moses) said: "If thou hadst wished, surely thou couldst have exacted some recompense for it!"		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৭)
89 অবশেষে তিনি যখন সুর্যের অস্তাচলে পৌছলেন; তখন তিনি সুর্যকে এক পঙ্কিল জলাশয়ে অস্ত যেতে দেখলেন এবং তিনি সেখানে এক সম্প্রদায়কে দেখতে পেলেন। আমি বললাম, হে যুলকারনাইন! আপনি তাদেরকে শাস্তি দিতে পারেন অথবা তাদেরকে সদয়ভাবে গ্রহণ করতে পারেন।
Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it set in a spring of murky water: Near it he found a People: We said: "O Zul-qarnain! (thou hast authority,) either to punish them, or to treat them with kindness."		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৮৬)
90 অবশেষে তিনি যখন সূর্যের উদয়াচলে পৌছলেন, তখন তিনি তাকে এমন এক সম্প্রদায়ের উপর উদয় হতে দেখলেন, যাদের জন্যে সূর্যতাপ থেকে আত্নরক্ষার কোন আড়াল আমি সৃষ্টি করিনি।
Until, when he came to the rising of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom We had provided no covering protection against the sun.		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৯০)
91 অতঃপর তিনি গর্ভে সন্তান ধারণ করলেন এবং তৎসহ এক দূরবর্তী স্থানে চলে গেলেন।
So she conceived him, and she retired with him to a remote place.		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ২২)
92 যারা সৎপথে চলে আল্লাহ তাদের পথপ্রাপ্তি বৃদ্ধি করেন এবং স্থায়ী সৎকর্মসমূহ তোমার পালনকর্তার কাছে সওয়াবের দিক দিয়ে শ্রেষ্ঠ এবং প্রতিদান হিসেবেও শ্রেষ্ট।
"And Allah doth advance in guidance those who seek guidance: and the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best in respect of (their) eventual return."		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৭৬)
93 কখনই নয়, তারা তাদের এবাদত অস্বীকার করবে এবং তাদের বিপক্ষে চলে যাবে।
Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them.		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৮২)
94 তিনি বললেনঃ এটা আমার লাঠি, আমি এর উপর ভর দেই এবং এর দ্বারা আমার ছাগপালের জন্যে বৃক্ষপত্র ঝেড়ে ফেলি এবং এতে আমার অন্যান্য কাজ ও চলে।
He said, "It is my rod: on it I lean; with it I beat down fodder for my flocks; and in it I find other uses."		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ১৮)
95 তিনি তোমাদের জন্যে পৃথিবীকে শয্যা করেছেন এবং তাতে চলার পথ করেছেন, আকাশ থেকে বৃষ্টি বর্ষণ করেছেন এবং তা দ্বারা আমি বিভিন্ন প্রকার উদ্ভিদ উৎপন্ন করেছি।
"He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others.		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৫৩)
96 হারুন তাদেরকে পুর্বেই বলেছিলেনঃ হে আমার কওম, তোমরা তো এই গো-বৎস দ্বারা পরীক্ষায় নিপতিত হয়েছ এবং তোমাদের পালনকর্তা দয়াময়। অতএব, তোমরা আমার অনুসরণ কর এবং আমার আদেশ মেনে চল।
Aaron had already, before this said to them: "O my people! ye are being tested in this: for verily your Lord is (Allah) Most Gracious; so follow me and obey my command."		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৯০)
97 আপনি আপনার পরিবারের লোকদেরকে নামাযের আদেশ দিন এবং নিজেও এর ওপর অবিচল থাকুন। আমি আপনার কাছে কোন রিযিক চাই না। আমি আপনাকে রিযিক দেই এবং আল্লাহ ভীরুতার পরিণাম শুভ।
Enjoin prayer on thy people, and be constant therein. We ask thee not to provide sustenance: We provide it for thee. But the (fruit of) the Hereafter is for righteousness.		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ১৩২)
98 যদি আমি এদেরকে ইতিপূর্বে কোন শাস্তি দ্বারা ধ্বংস করতাম, তবে এরা বলতঃ হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আপনি আমাদের কাছে একজন রসূল প্রেরণ করলেন না কেন? তাহলে তো আমরা অপমানিত ও হেয় হওয়ার পূর্বেই আপনার নিদর্শন সমূহ মেনে চলতাম।
And if We had inflicted on them a penalty before this, they would have said: "Our Lord! If only Thou hadst sent us a messenger, we should certainly have followed Thy Signs before we were humbled and put to shame."		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৪)
99 আল্লাহর কসম, যখন তোমরা পৃষ্ঠ প্রদর্শন করে চলে যাবে, তখন আমি তোমাদের মূর্তিগুলোর ব্যাপারে একটা ব্যবস্থা অবলম্বন করব।
"And by Allah, I have a plan for your idols - after ye go away and turn your backs"..		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৫৭)
100 এবং মাছওয়ালার কথা স্মরণ করুন তিনি ক্রুদ্ধ হয়ে চলে গিয়েছিলেন, অতঃপর মনে করেছিলেন যে, আমি তাঁকে ধৃত করতে পারব না। অতঃপর তিনি অন্ধকারের মধ্যে আহবান করলেনঃ তুমি ব্যতীত কোন উপাস্য নেই; তুমি নির্দোষ আমি গুনাহগার।
And remember Zun-nun, when he departed in wrath: He imagined that We had no power over him! But he cried through the deptHs of darkness, "There is no god but thou: glory to thee: I was indeed wrong!"		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৮৭)
101 তুমি কি দেখ না যে, ভূপৃষ্টে যা আছে এবং সমুদ্রে চলমান নৌকা তৎসমুদয়কে আল্লাহ নিজ আদেশে তোমাদের অধীন করে দিয়েছেন এবং তিনি আকাশ স্থির রাখেন, যাতে তাঁর আদেশ ব্যতীত ভূপৃষ্টে পতিত না হয়। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ মানুষের প্রতি করুণাশীল, দয়াবান।
Seest thou not that Allah has made subject to you (men) all that is on the earth, and the ships that sail through the sea by His Command? He withholds the sky (rain) from failing on the earth except by His leave: for Allah is Most Kind and Most Merciful to man.		 (হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৬৫)
102 তাদের পিঠে ও জলযানে তোমরা আরোহণ করে চলাফেরা করে থাক।
And on them, as well as in ships, ye ride.		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ২২)
103 আল্লাহ কোন সন্তান গ্রহণ করেননি এবং তাঁর সাথে কোন মাবুদ নেই। থাকলে প্রত্যেক মাবুদ নিজ নিজ সৃষ্টি নিয়ে চলে যেত এবং একজন অন্যজনের উপর প্রবল হয়ে যেত। তারা যা বলে, তা থেকে আল্লাহ পবিত্র।
No son did Allah beget, nor is there any god along with Him: (if there were many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have lorded it over others! Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the (sort of) things they attribute to Him!		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৯১)
104 আল্লাহ প্রত্যেক চলন্ত জীবকে পানি দ্বারা সৃষ্টি করেছেন। তাদের কতক বুকে ভয় দিয়ে চলে, কতক দুই পায়ে ভর দিয়ে চলে এবং কতক চার পায়ে ভর দিয়ে চলে; আল্লাহ যা ইচ্ছা সৃষ্টি করেন। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ সবকিছু করতে সক্ষম।
And Allah has created every animal from water: of them there are some that creep on their bellies; some that walk on two legs; and some that walk on four. Allah creates what He wills for verily Allah has power over all things.		 (আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ৪৫)
105 মুমিন তো তারাই; যারা আল্লাহর ও রসূলের প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং রসূলের সাথে কোন সমষ্টিগত কাজে শরীক হলে তাঁর কাছ থেকে অনুমতি গ্রহণ ব্যতীত চলে যায় না। যারা আপনার কাছে অনুমতি প্রার্থনা করে, তারাই আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে। অতএব তারা আপনার কাছে তাদের কোন কাজের জন্যে অনুমতি চাইলে আপনি তাদের মধ্যে যাকে ইচ্ছা অনুমতি দিন এবং তাদের জন্যে আল্লাহর কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করুন। আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, মেহেরবান।
Only those are believers, who believe in Allah and His Messenger: when they are with him on a matter requiring collective action, they do not depart until they have asked for his leave; those who ask for thy leave are those who believe in Allah and His Messenger; so when they ask for thy leave, for some business of theirs, give leave to those of them whom thou wilt, and ask Allah for their forgiveness: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ৬২)
106 তারা বলে, এ কেমন রসূল যে, খাদ্য আহার করে এবং হাটে-বাজারে চলাফেরা করে? তাঁর কাছে কেন কোন ফেরেশতা নাযিল করা হল না যে, তাঁর সাথে সতর্ককারী হয়ে থাকত?
And they say: "What sort of a messenger is this, who eats food, and walks through the streets? Why has not an angel been sent down to him to give admonition with him?		 (আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৭)
107 আপনার পূর্বে যত রসূল প্রেরণ করেছি, তারা সবাই খাদ্য গ্রহণ করত এবং হাটে-বাজারে চলাফেরা করত। আমি তোমাদের এককে অপরের জন্যে পরীক্ষাস্বরূপ করেছি। দেখি, তোমরা সবর কর কিনা। আপনার পালনকর্তা সব কিছু দেখেন।
And the messengers whom We sent before thee were all (men) who ate food and walked through the streets: We have made some of you as a trial for others: will ye have patience? for Allah is One Who sees (all things).		 (আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
108 রহমান-এর বান্দা তারাই, যারা পৃথিবীতে নম্রভাবে চলাফেরা করে এবং তাদের সাথে যখন মুর্খরা কথা বলতে থাকে, তখন তারা বলে, সালাম।
And the servants of (Allah) Most Gracious are those who walk on the earth in humility, and when the ignorant address them, they say, "Peace!";		 (আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৬৩)
109 এবং যারা মিথ্যা কাজে যোগদান করে না এবং যখন অসার ক্রিয়াকর্মের সম্মুখীন হয়, তখন মান রক্ষার্থে ভদ্রভাবে চলে যায়।
Those who witness no falsehood, and, if they pass by futility, they pass by it with honourable (avoidance);		 (আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৭২)
110 এবং আমার মন হতবল হয়ে পড়ে এবং আমার জিহবা অচল হয়ে যায়। সুতরাং হারুনের কাছে বার্তা প্রেরণ করুন।
"My breast will be straitened. And my speech may not go (smoothly): so send unto Aaron.		 (আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ১৩)
111 আপনি আহবান শোনাতে পারবেন না মৃতদেরকে এবং বধিরকেও নয়, যখন তারা পৃষ্ঠ প্রদর্শন করে চলে যায়।
Truly thou canst not cause the dead to listen, nor canst thou cause the deaf to hear the call, (especially) when they turn back in retreat.		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৮০)
112 তুমি পর্বতমালাকে দেখে অচল মনে কর, অথচ সেদিন এগুলো মেঘমালার মত চলমান হবে। এটা আল্লাহর কারিগরী, যিনি সবকিছুকে করেছেন সুসংহত। তোমরা যা কিছু করছ, তিনি তা অবগত আছেন।
Thou seest the mountains and thinkest them firmly fixed: but they shall pass away as the clouds pass away: (such is) the artistry of Allah, who disposes of all things in perfect order: for he is well acquainted with all that ye do.		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৮৮)
113 এবং যেন আমি কোরআন পাঠ করে শোনাই। পর যে ব্যক্তি সৎপথে চলে, সে নিজের কল্যাণার্থেই সৎপথে চলে এবং কেউ পথভ্রষ্ট হলে আপনি বলে দিন, আমি তো কেবল একজন ভীতি প্রদর্শনকারী।
And to rehearse the Qur'an: and if any accept guidance, they do it for the good of their own souls, and if any stray, say: "I am only a Warner".		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৯২)
114 এভাবেই আমি আপনার প্রতি কিতাব অবর্তীণ করেছি। অতঃপর যাদের কে আমি কিতাব দিয়েছিলাম, তারা একে মেনে চলে এবং এদেরও (মক্কাবাসীদেরও) কেউ কেউ এতে বিশ্বাস রাখে। কেবল কাফেররাই আমার আয়াতসমূহ অস্বীকার করে।
And thus (it is) that We have sent down the Book to thee. So the People of the Book believe therein, as also do some of these (pagan Arabs): and none but Unbelievers reject our signs.		 (আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৪৭)
115 অতএব, আপনি সবর করুন। আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য। যারা বিশ্বাসী নয়, তারা যেন আপনাকে বিচলিত করতে না পারে।
So patiently persevere: for verily the promise of Allah is true: nor let those shake thy firmness, who have (themselves) no certainty of faith.		 (আর-রূম:
আয়াতঃ ৬০)
116 তুমি কি দেখ না যে, আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহে জাহাজ সমুদ্রে চলাচল করে, যাতে তিনি তোমাদেরকে তাঁর নিদর্শনাবলী প্রদর্শন করেন? নিশ্চয় এতে প্রত্যেক সহনশীল, কৃতজ্ঞ ব্যক্তির জন্যে নিদর্শন রয়েছে।
Seest thou not that the ships sail through the ocean by the Grace of Allah?- that He may show you of His Signs? Verily in this are Signs for all who constantly persevere and give thanks.		 (লোকমান:
আয়াতঃ ৩১)
117 যখন তাদেরকে মেঘমালা সদৃশ তরংগ আচ্ছাদিত করে নেয়, তখন তারা খাঁটি মনে আল্লাহকে ডাকতে থাকে। অতঃপর তিনি যখন তাদেরকে স্থলভাগের দিকে উদ্ধার করে আনেন, তখন তাদের কেউ কেউ সরল পথে চলে। কেবল মিথ্যাচারী, অকৃতজ্ঞ ব্যক্তিই আমার নিদর্শনাবলী অস্বীকার করে।
When a wave covers them like the canopy (of clouds), they call to Allah, offering Him sincere devotion. But when He has delivered them safely to land, there are among them those that halt between (right and wrong). But none reject Our Signs except only a perfidious ungrateful (wretch)!		 (লোকমান:
আয়াতঃ ৩২)
118 এবং যখন তাদের একদল বলেছিল, হে ইয়াসরেববাসী, এটা টিকবার মত জায়গা নয়, তোমরা ফিরে চল। তাদেরই একদল নবীর কাছে অনুমতি প্রার্থনা করে বলেছিল, আমাদের বাড়ী-ঘর খালি, অথচ সেগুলো খালি ছিল না, পলায়ন করাই ছিল তাদের ইচ্ছা।
Behold! A party among them said: "Ye men of Yathrib! ye cannot stand (the attack)! therefore go back!" And a band of them ask for leave of the Prophet, saying, "Truly our houses are bare and exposed," though they were not exposed they intended nothing but to run away.		 (আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ১৩)
119 তারা মনে করে শক্রবাহিনী চলে যায়নি। যদি শক্রবাহিনী আবার এসে পড়ে, তবে তারা কামনা করবে যে, যদি তারা গ্রামবাসীদের মধ্য থেকে তোমাদের সংবাদাদি জেনে নিত, তবেই ভাল হত। তারা তোমাদের মধ্যে অবস্থান করলেও যুদ্ধ সামান্যই করত।
They think that the Confederates have not withdrawn; and if the Confederates should come (again), they would wish they were in the deserts (wandering) among the Bedouins, and seeking news about you (from a safe distance); and if they were in your midst, they would fight but little.		 (আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
120 হে মুমিনগণ! তোমাদেরকে অনুমতি দেয়া না হলে তোমরা খাওয়ার জন্য আহার্য রন্ধনের অপেক্ষা না করে নবীর গৃহে প্রবেশ করো না। তবে তোমরা আহুত হলে প্রবেশ করো, তবে অতঃপর খাওয়া শেষে আপনা আপনি চলে যেয়ো, কথাবার্তায় মশগুল হয়ে যেয়ো না। নিশ্চয় এটা নবীর জন্য কষ্টদায়ক। তিনি তোমাদের কাছে সংকোচ বোধ করেন; কিন্তু আল্লাহ সত্যকথা বলতে সংকোচ করেন না। তোমরা তাঁর পত্নীগণের কাছে কিছু চাইলে পর্দার আড়াল থেকে চাইবে। এটা তোমাদের অন্তরের জন্যে এবং তাঁদের অন্তরের জন্যে অধিকতর পবিত্রতার কারণ। আল্লাহর রাসূলকে কষ্ট দেয়া এবং তাঁর ওফাতের পর তাঁর পত্নীগণকে বিবাহ করা তোমাদের জন্য বৈধ নয়। আল্লাহর কাছে এটা গুরুতর অপরাধ।
O ye who believe! Enter not the Prophet's houses,- until leave is given you,- for a meal, (and then) not (so early as) to wait for its preparation: but when ye are invited, enter; and when ye have taken your meal, disperse, without seeking familiar talk. Such (behaviour) annoys the Prophet: he is ashamed to dismiss you, but Allah is not ashamed (to tell you) the truth. And when ye ask (his ladies) for anything ye want, ask them from before a screen: that makes for greater purity for your hearts and for theirs. Nor is it right for you that ye should annoy Allah's Messenger, or that ye should marry his widows after him at any time. Truly such a thing is in Allah's sight an enormity.		 (আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ৫৩)
121 দু’টি সমুদ্র সমান হয় না-একটি মিঠা ও তৃষ্ণানিবারক এবং অপরটি লোনা। ঊভয়টি থেকেই তোমরা তাজা গোশত (মৎস) আহার কর এবং পরিধানে ব্যবহার্য গয়নাগাটি আহরণ কর। তুমি তাতে তার বুক চিরে জাহাজ চলতে দেখ, যাতে তোমরা তার অনুগ্রহ অন্বেষণ কর এবং যাতে তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ কর।
Nor are the two bodies of flowing water alike,- the one palatable, sweet, and pleasant to drink, and the other, salt and bitter. Yet from each (kind of water) do ye eat flesh fresh and tender, and ye extract ornaments to wear; and thou seest the ships therein that plough the waves, that ye may seek (thus) of the Bounty of Allah that ye may be grateful.		 (ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ১২)
122 তারা জোর শপথ করে বলত, তাদের কাছে কোন সতর্ককারী আগমন করলে তারা অন্য যে কোন সম্প্রদায় অপেক্ষা অধিকতর সৎপথে চলবে। অতঃপর যখন তাদের কাছে সতর্ককারী আগমন করল, তখন তাদের ঘৃণাই কেবল বেড়ে গেল।
They swore their strongest oaths by Allah that if a warner came to them, they would follow his guidance better than any (other) of the Peoples: But when a warner came to them, it has only increased their flight (from righteousness),-		 (ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ৪২)
123 যদি আল্লাহ মানুষকে তাদের কৃতকর্মের কারণে পাকড়াও করতেন, তবে ভুপৃষ্ঠে চলমানকাউকে ছেড়ে দিতেন না। কিন্তু তিনি এক নির্দিষ্ট মেয়াদ পর্যন্ত তাদেরকে অবকাশ দেন। অতঃপর যখন সে নির্দিষ্ট মেয়াদ এসে যাবে তখন আল্লাহর সব বান্দা তাঁর দৃষ্টিতে থাকবে।
If Allah were to punish men according to what they deserve. He would not leave on the back of the (earth) a single living creature: but He gives them respite for a stated Term: when their Term expires, verily Allah has in His sight all His Servants.		 (ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ৪৫)
124 সূর্য নাগাল পেতে পারে না চন্দ্রের এবং রাত্রি অগ্রে চলে না দিনের প্রত্যেকেই আপন আপন কক্ষপথে সন্তরণ করে।
It is not permitted to the Sun to catch up the Moon, nor can the Night outstrip the Day: Each (just) swims along in (its own) orbit (according to Law).		 (ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ৪০)
125 শিংগায় ফুঁক দেয়া হবে, তখনই তারা কবর থেকে তাদের পালনকর্তার দিকে ছুটে চলবে।
The trumpet shall be sounded, when behold! from the sepulchres (men) will rush forth to their Lord!		 (ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ৫১)
126 আমি ইচ্ছা করলে তাদেরকে স্ব স্ব স্থানে আকার বিকৃত করতে পারতাম, ফলে তারা আগেও চলতে পারত না এবং পেছনেও ফিরে যেতে পারত না।
And if it had been Our Will, We could have transformed them (to remain) in their places; then should they have been unable to move about, nor could they have returned (after error).		 (ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ৬৭)
127 তিনি আসমান সমূহ, যমীনও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছুর পালনকর্তা এবং পালনকর্তা উদয়াচলসমূহের।
Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all between them, and Lord of every point at the rising of the sun!		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ৫)
128 অতঃপর তারা তার প্রতি পিঠ ফিরিয়ে চলে গেল।
So they turned away from him, and departed.		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ৯০)
129 সে বললঃ আমি আমার পালনকর্তার দিকে চললাম, তিনি আমাকে পথপ্রদর্শন করবেন।
He said: "I will go to my Lord! He will surely guide me!		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ৯৯)
130 অতঃপর সে যখন পিতার সাথে চলাফেরা করার বয়সে উপনীত হল, তখন ইব্রাহীম তাকে বললঃ বৎস! আমি স্বপ্নে দেখিযে, তোমাকে যবেহ করছি; এখন তোমার অভিমত কি দেখ। সে বললঃ পিতাঃ! আপনাকে যা আদেশ করা হয়েছে, তাই করুন। আল্লাহ চাহে তো আপনি আমাকে সবরকারী পাবেন।
Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills one practising Patience and Constancy!"		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ১০২)
131 তাদের কতিপয় বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তি একথা বলে প্রস্থান করে যে, তোমরা চলে যাও এবং তোমাদের উপাস্যদের পূজায় দৃঢ় থাক। নিশ্চয়ই এ বক্তব্য কোন বিশেষ উদ্দেশ্যে প্রণোদিত।
And the leader among them go away (impatiently), (saying), "Walk ye away, and remain constant to your gods! For this is truly a thing designed (against you)!		 (ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ৬)
132 আরবী ভাষায় এ কোরআন বক্রতামুক্ত, যাতে তারা সাবধান হয়ে চলে।
(It is) a Qur'an in Arabic, without any crookedness (therein): in order that they may guard against Evil.		 (আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ২৮)
133 যারা আরশ বহন করে এবং যারা তার চারপাশে আছে, তারা তাদের পালনকর্তার সপ্রশংস পবিত্রতা বর্ণনা করে, তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং মুমিনদের জন্যে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করে বলে, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আপনার রহমত ও জ্ঞান সবকিছুতে পরিব্যাপ্ত। অতএব, যারা তওবা করে এবং আপনার পথে চলে, তাদেরকে ক্ষমা করুন এবং জাহান্নামের আযাব থেকে রক্ষা করুন।
Those who sustain the Throne (of Allah) and those around it Sing Glory and Praise to their Lord; believe in Him; and implore Forgiveness for those who believe: "Our Lord! Thy Reach is over all things, in Mercy and Knowledge. Forgive, then, those who turn in Repentance, and follow Thy Path; and preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire!		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৭)
134 অতঃপর তাদের এ ঈমান তাদের কোন উপকারে আসল না যখন তারা শাস্তি প্রত্যক্ষ করল। আল্লাহর এ নিয়মই পূর্ব থেকে তাঁর বান্দাদের মধ্যে প্রচলিত হয়েছে। সেক্ষেত্রে কাফেররা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়।
But their professing the Faith when they (actually) saw Our Punishment was not going to profit them. (Such has been) Allah's Way of dealing with His Servants (from the most ancient times). And even thus did the Rejecters of Allah perish (utterly)!		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৮৫)
135 যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছিল ও সাবধানে চলত, আমি তাদেরকে উদ্ধার করলাম।
But We delivered those who believed and practised righteousness.		 (হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৮)
136 নিশ্চয় যারা বলে, আমাদের পালনকর্তা আল্লাহ, অতঃপর তাতেই অবিচল থাকে, তাদের কাছে ফেরেশতা অবতীর্ণ হয় এবং বলে, তোমরা ভয় করো না, চিন্তা করো না এবং তোমাদের প্রতিশ্রুত জান্নাতের সুসংবাদ শোন।
In the case of those who say, "Our Lord is Allah", and, further, stand straight and steadfast, the angels descend on them (from time to time): "Fear ye not!" (they suggest), "Nor grieve! but receive the Glad Tidings of the Garden (of Bliss), the which ye were promised!		 (হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩০)
137 সুতরাং আপনি এর প্রতিই দাওয়াত দিন এবং হুকুম অনুযায়ী অবিচল থাকুন; আপনি তাদের খেয়ালখুশীর অনুসরণ করবেন না। বলুন, আল্লাহ যে কিতাব নাযিল করেছেন, আমি তাতে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছি। আমি তোমাদের মধ্যে ন্যায় বিচার করতে আদিষ্ট হয়েছি। আল্লাহ আমাদের পালনকর্তা ও তোমাদের পালনকর্তা। আমাদের জন্যে আমাদের কর্ম এবং তোমাদের জন্যে তোমাদের কর্ম। আমাদের মধ্যে ও তোমাদের মধ্যে বিবাদ নেই। আল্লাহ আমাদেরকে সমবেত করবেন এবং তাঁরই দিকে প্রত্যাবর্তণ হবে।
Now then, for that (reason), call (them to the Faith), and stand steadfast as thou art commanded, nor follow thou their vain desires; but say: "I believe in the Book which Allah has sent down; and I am commanded to judge justly between you. Allah is our Lord and your Lord: for us (is the responsibility for) our deeds, and for you for your deeds. There is no contention between us and you. Allah will bring us together, and to Him is (our) Final Goal.		 (আশ-শুরা:
আয়াতঃ ১৫)
138 তিনি ইচ্ছা করলে বাতাসকে থামিয়ে দেন। তখন জাহাজসমূহ সমুদ্রপৃষ্ঠে নিশ্চল হয়ে পড়ে যেন পাহাড়। নিশ্চয় এতে প্রত্যেক সবরকারী, কৃতজ্ঞের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।
If it be His Will He can still the Wind: then would they become motionless on the back of the (ocean). Verily in this are Signs for everyone who patiently perseveres and is grateful.		 (আশ-শুরা:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩)
139 এমনিভাবে আপনার পূর্বে আমি যখন কোন জনপদে কোন সতর্ককারী প্রেরণ করেছি, তখনই তাদের বিত্তশালীরা বলেছে, আমরা আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদেরকে পেয়েছি এক পথের পথিক এবং আমরা তাদেরই পদাংক অনুসরণ করে চলছি।
Just in the same way, whenever We sent a Warner before thee to any people, the wealthy ones among them said: "We found our fathers following a certain religion, and we will certainly follow in their footsteps."		 (যুখরুফ:
আয়াতঃ ২৩)
140 এবং সমুদ্রকে অচল থাকতে দাও। নিশ্চয় ওরা নিমজ্জত বাহিনী।
"And leave the sea as a furrow (divided): for they are a host (destined) to be drowned."		 (আদ দোখান:
আয়াতঃ ২৪)
141 তিনি আল্লাহ যিনি সমুদ্রকে তোমাদের উপকারার্থে আয়ত্বাধীন করে দিয়েছেন, যাতে তাঁর আদেশক্রমে তাতে জাহাজ চলাচল করে এবং যাতে তোমরা তাঁর অনুগ্রহ তালাশ কর ও তাঁর প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞ হও।
It is Allah Who has subjected the sea to you, that ships may sail through it by His command, that ye may seek of his Bounty, and that ye may be grateful.		 (আল জাসিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ১২)
142 নিশ্চয় যারা বলে, আমাদের পালনকর্তা আল্লাহ অতঃপর অবিচল থাকে, তাদের কোন ভয় নেই এবং তারা চিন্তিত হবে না।
Verily those who say, "Our Lord is Allah," and remain firm (on that Path),- on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.		 (আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৩)
143 আমি মানুষকে তার পিতা-মাতার সাথে সদ্ব্যবহারের আদেশ দিয়েছি। তার জননী তাকে কষ্টসহকারে গর্ভে ধারণ করেছে এবং কষ্টসহকারে প্রসব করেছে। তাকে গর্ভে ধারণ করতে ও তার স্তন্য ছাড়তে লেগেছে ত্রিশ মাস। অবশেষে সে যখন শক্তি-সামর্থে?480; বয়সে ও চল্লিশ বছরে পৌছেছে, তখন বলতে লাগল, হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আমাকে এরূপ ভাগ্য দান কর, যাতে আমি তোমার নেয়ামতের শোকর করি, যা তুমি দান করেছ আমাকে ও আমার পিতা-মাতাকে এবং যাতে আমি তোমার পছন্দনীয় সৎকাজ করি। আমার সন্তানদেরকে সৎকর্মপরায়ণ কর, আমি তোমার প্রতি তওবা করলাম এবং আমি আজ্ঞাবহদের অন্যতম।
We have enjoined on man kindness to his parents: In pain did his mother bear him, and in pain did she give him birth. The carrying of the (child) to his weaning is (a period of) thirty months. At length, when he reaches the age of full strength and attains forty years, he says, "O my Lord! Grant me that I may be grateful for Thy favour which Thou has bestowed upon me, and upon both my parents, and that I may work righteousness such as Thou mayest approve; and be gracious to me in my issue. Truly have I turned to Thee and truly do I bow (to Thee) in Islam."		 (আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৫)
144 অতঃপর মৃদু চলমান জলযানের,
And those that flow with ease and gentleness;		 (আয-যারিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ৩)
145 এবং পর্বতমালা হবে চলমান,
And the mountains will fly hither and thither.		 (আত্ব তূর:
আয়াতঃ ১০)
146 অথচ এ বিষয়ে তাদের কোন জ্ঞান নেই। তারা কেবল অনুমানের উপর চলে। অথচ সত্যের ব্যাপারে অনুমান মোটেই ফলপ্রসূ নয়।
But they have no knowledge therein. They follow nothing but conjecture; and conjecture avails nothing against Truth.		 (আন-নাজম:
আয়াতঃ ২৮)
147 যা চলত আমার দৃষ্টি সামনে। এটা তার পক্ষ থেকে প্রতিশোধ ছিল, যাকে প্রত্যখ্যান করা হয়েছিল।
She floats under our eyes (and care): a recompense to one who had been rejected (with scorn)!		 (আল ক্বামার:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
148 সূর্য ও চন্দ্র হিসাবমত চলে।
The sun and the moon follow courses (exactly) computed;		 (আর রহমান:
আয়াতঃ ৫)
149 তিনি দুই উদয়াচল ও দুই অস্তাচলের মালিক।
(He is) Lord of the two Easts and Lord of the two Wests:		 (আর রহমান:
আয়াতঃ ১৭)
150 অতএব, আমি তারকারাজির অস্তাচলের শপথ করছি,
Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,-		 (আল ওয়াক্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৭৫)
151 মুমিনগণ, তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং তাঁর রসূলের প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন কর। তিনি নিজে অনুগ্রহের দ্বিগুণ অংশ তোমাদেরকে দিবেন, তোমাদেরকে দিবেন জ্যোতি, যার সাহায্যে তোমরা চলবে এবং তোমাদেরকে ক্ষমা করবেন। আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, দয়াময়।
O ye that believe! Fear Allah, and believe in His Messenger, and He will bestow on you a double portion of His Mercy: He will provide for you a Light by which ye shall walk (straight in your path), and He will forgive you (your past): for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ২৮)
152 আল্লাহ তা’আলা কাফেরদের জন্যে নূহ-পত্নী ও লূত-পত্নীর দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছেন। তারা ছিল আমার দুই ধর্মপরায়ণ বান্দার গৃহে। অতঃপর তারা তাদের সাথে বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করল। ফলে নূহ ও লূত তাদেরকে আল্লাহ তা’আলার কবল থেকে রক্ষা করতে পারল না এবং তাদেরকে বলা হলঃ জাহান্নামীদের সাথে জাহান্নামে চলে যাও।
Allah sets forth, for an example to the Unbelievers, the wife of Noah and the wife of Lut: they were (respectively) under two of our righteous servants, but they were false to their (husbands), and they profited nothing before Allah on their account, but were told: "Enter ye the Fire along with (others) that enter!"		 (আত-তাহরীম:
আয়াতঃ ১০)
153 যে ব্যক্তি উপুড় হয়ে মুখে ভর দিয়ে চলে, সে-ই কি সৎ পথে চলে, না সে ব্যক্তি যে সোজা হয়ে সরলপথে চলে?
Is then one who walks headlong, with his face grovelling, better guided,- or one who walks evenly on a Straight Way?		 (আল মুলক:
আয়াতঃ ২২)
154 বলুন, তোমরা ভেবে দেখেছ কি, যদি তোমাদের পানি ভূগর্ভের গভীরে চলে যায়, তবে কে তোমাদেরকে সরবরাহ করবে পানির স্রোতধারা?
Say: "See ye?- If your stream be some morning lost (in the underground earth), who then can supply you with clear-flowing water?"		 (আল মুলক:
আয়াতঃ ৩০)
155 তোমরা যদি ফল আহরণ করতে চাও, তবে সকাল সকাল ক্ষেতে চল।
"Go ye to your tilth (betimes) in the morning, if ye would gather the fruits."		 (আল কলম:
আয়াতঃ ২২)
156 অতঃপর তারা চলল ফিসফিস করে কথা বলতে বলতে,
So they departed, conversing in secret low tones, (saying)-		 (আল কলম:
আয়াতঃ ২৩)
157 যখন জলোচ্ছ্বাস হয়েছিল, তখন আমি তোমাদেরকে চলন্ত নৌযানে আরোহণ করিয়েছিলাম।
We, when the water (of Noah's Flood) overflowed beyond its limits, carried you (mankind), in the floating (Ark),		 (আল হাক্বক্বাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
158 আমি শপথ করছি উদয়াচল ও অস্তাচলসমূহের পালনকর্তার, নিশ্চয়ই আমি সক্ষম!
Now I do call to witness the Lord of all points in the East and the West that We can certainly-		 (আল মা'আরিজ:
আয়াতঃ ৪০)
159 যাতে তোমরা চলাফেরা কর প্রশস্ত পথে।
"'That ye may go about therein, in spacious roads.'"		 (নূহ:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
160 কাফেররা যা বলে, তজ্জন্যে আপনি সবর করুন এবং সুন্দরভাবে তাদেরকে পরিহার করে চলুন।
And have patience with what they say, and leave them with noble (dignity).		 (মুযযামমিল:
আয়াতঃ ১০)
161 চল তোমরা তারই দিকে, যাকে তোমরা মিথ্যা বলতে।
(It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false!		 (আল মুরসালাত:
আয়াতঃ ২৯)
162 চল তোমরা তিন কুন্ডলীবিশিষ্ট ছায়ার দিকে,
"Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns,		 (আল মুরসালাত:
আয়াতঃ ৩০)
163 চলমান হয় ও অদৃশ্য হয়,
Go straight, or hide;		 (আত-তাকভীর:
আয়াতঃ ১৬)
164 তার জন্যে, যে তোমাদের মধ্যে সোজা চলতে চায়।
(With profit) to whoever among you wills to go straight:		 (আত-তাকভীর:
আয়াতঃ ২৮)
165 শপথ উর্ধ্বশ্বাসে চলমান অশ্বসমূহের,
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath),		 (আদিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ১)
