যদি তোমরা প্রকাশ্যে দান-খয়রাত কর, তবে তা কতইনা উত্তম। আর যদি খয়রাত গোপনে কর এবং অভাবগ্রস্তদের দিয়ে দাও, তবে তা তোমাদের জন্যে আরও উত্তম। আল্লাহ তা’আলা তোমাদের কিছু গোনাহ দূর করে দিবেন। আল্লাহ তোমাদের কাজ কর্মের খুব খবর রাখেন।
If ye disclose (acts of) charity, even so it is well, but if ye conceal them, and make them reach those (really) in need, that is best for you: It will remove from you some of your (stains of) evil. And Allah is well acquainted with what ye do. |

যারা স্বীয় ধন-সম্পদ ব্যয় করে, রাত্রে ও দিনে, গোপনে ও প্রকাশ্যে। তাদের জন্যে তাদের সওয়াব রয়েছে তাদের পালনকর্তার কাছে। তাদের কোন আশংঙ্কা নেই এবং তারা চিন্তিত ও হবে না।
Those who (in charity) spend of their goods by night and by day, in secret and in public, have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. |

তোমরা যদি কল্যাণ কর প্রকাশ্যভাবে কিংবা গোপনে অথবা যদি তোমরা আপরাধ ক্ষমা করে দাও, তবে জেনো, আল্লাহ নিজেও ক্ষমাকারী, মহাশক্তিশালী।
Whether ye publish a good deed or conceal it or cover evil with pardon, verily Allah doth blot out (sins) and hath power (in the judgment of values). |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৪৯) |

আপনি বলুনঃ কে তোমাদেরকে স্থল ও জলের অন্ধকার থেকে উদ্ধার করেন, যখন তোমরা তাঁকে বিনীতভাবে ও গোপনে আহবান কর যে, যদি আপনি আমাদের কে এ থেকে উদ্ধার করে নেন, তবে আমরা অবশ্যই কৃতজ্ঞদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে যাব।
Say: "Who is it that delivereth you from the dark recesses of land and sea, when ye call upon Him in humility and silent terror: 'If He only delivers us from these (dangers), (we vow) we shall truly show our gratitude'?" |

তোমরা স্বীয় প্রতিপালককে ডাক, কাকুতি-মিনতি করে এবং সংগোপনে। তিনি সীমা অতিক্রমকারীদেরকে পছন্দ করেন না।
Call on your Lord with humility and in private: for Allah loveth not those who trespass beyond bounds. |
(আল আ'রাফ:

বস্তুতঃ যদি প্রত্যেক গোনাহগারের কাছে এত পরিমাণ থাকে যা আছে সমগ্র যমীনের মাঝে, আর অবশ্যই যদি সেগুলো নিজের মুক্তির বিনিময়ে দিতে চাইবে আর গোপনে গোপনে অনুতাপ করবে, যখন আযাব দেখবে। বস্তুতঃ তাদের জন্য সিদ্ধান্ত হবে ন্যায়সঙ্গত এবং তাদের উপর জুলম হবে না।
Every soul that hath sinned, if it possessed all that is on earth, would fain give it in ransom: They would declare (their) repentance when they see the penalty: but the judgment between them will be with justice, and no wrong will be done unto them. |

ইউসুফ বললেনঃ এটা এজন্য, যাতে আযীয জেনে নেয় যে, আমি গোপনে তার সাথে বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করিনি। আরও এই যে, আল্লাহ বিশ্বাসঘাতকদের প্রতারণাকে এগুতে দেন না।
"This (say I), in order that He may know that I have never been false to him in his absence, and that Allah will never guide the snare of the false ones. |

| 8 |
তোমাদের মধ্যে কেউ গোপনে কথা বলুক বা তা সশব্দে প্রকাশ করুক, রাতের অন্ধকারে সে আত্নগোপন করুক বা প্রকাশ্য দিবালোকে বিচরণ করুক, সবাই তাঁর নিকট সমান।
It is the same (to Him) whether any of you conceal his speech or declare it openly; whether he lie hid by night or walk forth freely by day. |

আয়াতঃ ১০) |

এবং যারা স্বীয় পালনকর্তার সন্তুষ্টির জন্যে সবর করে, নামায প্রতিষ্টা করে আর আমি তাদেরকে যা দিয়েছি, তা থেকে গোপনে ও প্রকাশ্য ব্যয় করে এবং যারা মন্দের বিপরীতে ভাল করে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে পরকালের গৃহ।
Those who patiently persevere, seeking the countenance of their Lord; Establish regular prayers; spend, out of (the gifts) We have bestowed for their sustenance, secretly and openly; and turn off Evil with good: for such there is the final attainment of the (eternal) home,- |

আমার বান্দাদেরকে বলে দিন যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছে, তারা নামায কায়েম রাখুক এবং আমার দেয়া রিযিক থেকে গোপনে ও প্রকাশ্যে ব্যয় করুক ঐদিন আসার আগে, যেদিন কোন বেচা কেনা নেই এবং বন্ধুত্বও নেই।
Speak to my servants who have believed, that they may establish regular prayers, and spend (in charity) out of the sustenance we have given them, secretly and openly, before the coming of a Day in which there will be neither mutual bargaining nor befriending. |

হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আপনি তো জানেন আমরা যা কিছু গোপনে করি এবং যা কিছু প্রকাশ্য করি। আল্লাহর কাছে পৃথিবীতে ও আকাশে কোন কিছুই গোপন নয়।
"O our Lord! truly Thou dost know what we conceal and what we reveal: for nothing whatever is hidden from Allah, whether on earth or in heaven. |

আয়াতঃ ৩৮) |

আল্লাহ একটি দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছেন, অপরের মালিকানাধীন গোলামের যে, কোন কিছুর উপর শক্তি রাখে না এবং এমন একজন যাকে আমি নিজের পক্ষ থেকে চমৎকার রুযী দিয়েছি। অতএব, সে তা থেকে ব্যয় করে গোপনে ও প্রকাশ্যে উভয়ে কি সমান হয়? সব প্রশংসা আল্লাহর, কিন্তু অনেক মানুষ জানে না।
Allah sets forth the Parable (of two men: one) a slave under the dominion of another; He has no power of any sort; and (the other) a man on whom We have bestowed goodly favours from Ourselves, and he spends thereof (freely), privately and publicly: are the two equal? (By no means;) praise be to Allah. But most of them understand not. |

আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্যে সৃজিত বস্তু দ্বারা ছায়া করে দিয়েছেন এবং পাহাড় সমূহে তোমাদের জন্যে আত্ন গোপনের জায়গা করেছেন এবং তোমাদের জন্যে পোশাক তৈরী করে দিয়েছেন, যা তোমাদেরকে গ্রীষ্ম এবং বিপদের সময় রক্ষা করে। এমনিভাবে তিনি তোমাদের প্রতি স্বীয় অনুগ্রহের পূর্ণতা দান করেন, যাতে তোমরা আত্নসমর্পণ কর।
It is Allah Who made out of the things He created, some things to give you shade; of the hills He made some for your shelter; He made you garments to protect you from heat, and coats of mail to protect you from your (mutual) violence. Thus does He complete His favours on you, that ye may bow to His Will (in Islam). |

যখন তারা কান পেতে আপনার কথা শোনে, তখন তারা কেন কান পেতে তা শোনে, তা আমি ভাল জানি এবং এও জানি গোপনে আলোচনাকালে যখন জালেমরা বলে, তোমরা তো এক যাদুগ্রস্থ ব্যক্তির অনুসরণ করছ।
We know best why it is they listen, when they listen to thee; and when they meet in private conference, behold, the wicked say, "Ye follow none other than a man bewitched!" |
(বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৪৭) |

অতঃপর তারা তাদের কাজে নিজেদের মধ্যে বিতর্ক করল এবং গোপনে পরামর্শ করল।
So they disputed, one with another, over their affair, but they kept their talk secret. |
(ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৬২) |
| 16 |
তাদের অন্তর থাকে খেলায় মত্ত। জালেমরা গোপনে পরামর্শ করে, সে তো তোমাদেরই মত একজন মানুষ; এমতাবস্থায় দেখে শুনে তোমরা তার যাদুর কবলে কেন পড়?
Their hearts toying as with trifles. The wrong-doers conceal their private counsels, (saying), "Is this (one) more than a man like yourselves? Will ye go to witchcraft with your eyes open?" |
(আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৩) |
| 17 |
যারা আল্লাহর কিতাব পাঠ করে, নামায কায়েম করে, এবং আমি যা দিয়েছি, তা থেকে গোপনে ও প্রকাশ্যে ব্যয় করে, তারা এমন ব্যবসা আশা কর, যাতে কখনও লোকসান হবে না।
Those who rehearse the Book of Allah, establish regular Prayer, and spend (in Charity) out of what We have provided for them, secretly and openly, hope for a commerce that will never fail: |

| 18 |
অতএব তাদের কথা যেন আপনাকে দুঃখিত না করে। আমি জানি যা তারা গোপনে করে এবং যা তারা প্রকাশ্যে করে।
Let not their speech, then, grieve thee. Verily We know what they hide as well as what they disclose. |
(ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ৭৬) |

মুমিনগণ, তোমরা আমার ও তোমাদের শত্রুদেরকে বন্ধরূপে গ্রহণ করো না। তোমরা তো তাদের প্রতি বন্ধুত্বের বার্তা পাঠাও, অথচ তারা যে সত্য তোমাদের কাছে আগমন করেছে, তা অস্বীকার করছে। তারা রসূলকে ও তোমাদেরকে বহিস্কার করে এই অপরাধে যে, তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস রাখ। যদি তোমরা আমার সন্তুষ্টিলাভের জন্যে এবং আমার পথে জেহাদ করার জন্যে বের হয়ে থাক, তবে কেন তাদের প্রতি গোপনে বন্ধুত্বের পয়গাম প্রেরণ করছ? তোমরা যা গোপন কর এবং যা প্রকাশ কর, ত আমি খুব জানি। তোমাদের মধ্যে যে এটা করে, সে সরলপথ থেকে বিচ্যুত হয়ে যায়।
O ye who believe! Take not my enemies and yours as friends (or protectors),- offering them (your) love, even though they have rejected the Truth that has come to you, and have (on the contrary) driven out the Prophet and yourselves (from your homes), (simply) because ye believe in Allah your Lord! If ye have come out to strive in My Way and to seek My Good Pleasure, (take them not as friends), holding secret converse of love (and friendship) with them: for I know full well all that ye conceal and all that ye reveal. And any of you that does this has strayed from the Straight Path. |

| 20 |
নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলে যা আছে, তিনি তা জানেন। তিনি আরও জানেন তোমরা যা গোপনে কর এবং যা প্রকাশ্যে কর। আল্লাহ অন্তরের বিষয়াদি সম্পর্কে সম্যক জ্ঞাত।
He knows what is in the heavens and on earth; and He knows what ye conceal and what ye reveal: yea, Allah knows well the (secrets) of (all) hearts. |
(আত-তাগাবুন:
আয়াতঃ ৪) |
| 21 |
যখন নবী তাঁর একজন স্ত্রীর কাছে একটি কথা গোপনে বললেন, অতঃপর স্ত্রী যখন তা বলে দিল এবং আল্লাহ নবীকে তা জানিয়ে দিলেন, তখন নবী সে বিষয়ে স্ত্রীকে কিছু বললেন এবং কিছু বললেন না। নবী যখন তা স্ত্রীকে বললেন, তখন স্ত্রী বললেনঃ কে আপনাকে এ সম্পর্কে অবহিত করল? নবী বললেন,ঃ যিনি সর্বজ্ঞ, ওয়াকিফহাল, তিনি আমাকে অবহিত করেছেন।
When the Prophet disclosed a matter in confidence to one of his consorts, and she then divulged it (to another), and Allah made it known to him, he confirmed part thereof and repudiated a part. Then when he told her thereof, she said, "Who told thee this? "He said, "He told me Who knows and is well-acquainted (with all things)." |
(আত-তাহরীম:
আয়াতঃ ৩) |
| 22 |
তোমরা তোমাদের কথা গোপনে বল অথবা প্রকাশ্যে বল, তিনি তো অন্তরের বিষয়াদি সম্পর্কে সম্যক অবগত।
And whether ye hide your word or publish it, He certainly has (full) knowledge, of the secrets of (all) hearts. |

অতঃপর আমি ঘোষণা সহকারে প্রচার করেছি এবং গোপনে চুপিসারে বলেছি।
"Further I have spoken to them in public and secretly in private, |
