তারপর ঈমানদাররা আল্লাহর হুকুমে জালূতের বাহিনীকে পরাজিত করে দিল এবং দাউদ জালূতকে হত্যা করল। আর আল্লাহ দাউদকে দান করলেন রাজ্য ও অভিজ্ঞতা। আর তাকে যা চাইলেন শিখালেন। আল্লাহ যদি একজনকে অপরজনের দ্বারা প্রতিহত না করতেন, তাহলে গোটা দুনিয়া বিধ্বস্ত হয়ে যেতো। কিন্তু বিশ্ববাসীর প্রতি আল্লাহ একান্তই দয়ালু, করুণাময়।
By Allah's will they routed them; and David slew Goliath; and Allah gave him power and wisdom and taught him whatever (else) He willed. And did not Allah Check one set of people by means of another, the earth would indeed be full of mischief: But Allah is full of bounty to all the worlds. |

তারা আরও বলে যে, তাঁর কাছে কোন ফেরেশতা কেন প্রেরণ করা হল না ? যদি আমি কোন ফেরেশতা প্রেরণ করতাম, তবে গোটা ব্যাপারটাই শেষ হয়ে যেত। অতঃপর তাদেরকে সামান্যও অবকাশ দেওয়া হতনা।
They say: "Why is not an angel sent down to him?" If we did send down an angel, the matter would be settled at once, and no respite would be granted them. |

তারা আল্লাহকে যথার্থরূপে বোঝেনি। কেয়ামতের দিন গোটা পৃথিবী থাকবে তাঁর হাতের মুঠোতে এবং আসমান সমূহ ভাঁজ করা অবস্থায় থাকবে তাঁর ডান হাতে। তিনি পবিত্র। আর এরা যাকে শরীক করে, তা থেকে তিনি অনেক উর্ধ্বে।
No just estimate have they made of Allah, such as is due to Him: On the Day of Judgment the whole of the earth will be but His handful, and the heavens will be rolled up in His right hand: Glory to Him! High is He above the Partners they attribute to Him! |
