"গর্ব" শব্দযুক্ত আয়াত ম্যাচ করেছেঃ ৭
নং	আয়াত	সূরা
1	আর উপাসনা কর আল্লাহর, শরীক করো না তাঁর সাথে অপর কাউকে। পিতা-মাতার সাথে সৎ ও সদয় ব্যবহার কর এবং নিকটাত্নীয়, এতীম-মিসকীন, প্রতিবেশী, অসহায় মুসাফির এবং নিজের দাস-দাসীর প্রতিও। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ পছন্দ করেন না দাম্ভিক-গর্বিতজনকে। Serve Allah, and join not any partners with Him; and do good- to parents, kinsfolk, orphans, those in need, neighbours who are near, neighbours who are strangers, the companion by your side, the wayfarer (ye meet), and what your right hands possess: For Allah loveth not the arrogant, the vainglorious;-	(আন নিসা: আয়াতঃ ৩৬)
2	অতঃপর তারা যখন ঐ উপদেশ ভুলে গেল, যা তাদেরকে দেয়া হয়েছিল, তখন আমি তাদের সামনে সব কিছুর দ্বার উম্মুক্ত করে দিলাম। এমনকি, যখন তাদেরকে প্রদত্ত বিষয়াদির জন্যে তারা খুব গর্বিত হয়ে পড়ল, তখন আমি অকস্মাৎ তাদেরকে পাকড়াও করলাম। তখন তারা নিরাশ হয়ে গেল। But when they forgot the warning they had received, We opened to them the gates of all (good) things, until, in the midst of their enjoyment of Our gifts, on a sudden, We called them to account, when lo! they were plunged in despair!	(আল আনআম: আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
3	সুতরাং আমি তাদের উপর পাঠিয়ে দিলাম তুফান, পঙ্গপাল, উকুন, ব্যাঙ ও রক্ত প্রভৃতি বহুবিধ নিদর্শন একের পর এক। তারপরেও তারা গর্ব করতে থাকল। বস্তুতঃ তারা ছিল অপরাধপ্রবণ। So We sent (plagues) on them: Wholesale death, Locusts, Lice, Frogs, And Blood: Signs openly self-explained: but they were steeped in arrogance,- a people given to sin.	(আল আ'রাফ: আয়াতঃ ১৩৩)
4	আমি আমার নিদর্শনসমূহ হতে তাদেরকে ফিরিয়ে রাখি, যারা পৃথিবীতে অন্যায়ভাবে গর্ব করে। যদি তারা সমস্ত নিদর্শন প্রত্যক্ষ করে ফেলে, তবুও তা বিশ্বাস করবে না। আর যদি হেদায়েতের পথ দেখে, তবে সে পথ গ্রহণ করে না। অথচ গোমরাহীর পথ দেখলে তাই গ্রহণ করে নেয়। এর কারণ, তারা আমার নিদর্শনসমূহকে মিথ্যা বলে মনে করেছে এবং তা থেকে বেখবর রয়ে গেছে। Those who behave arrogantly on the earth in defiance of right - them will I turn away from My signs: Even if they see all the signs, they will not believe in them; and if they see the way of right conduct, they will not adopt it as the way; but if they see the way of error, that is the way they will adopt. For they have rejected our signs, and failed to take warning from them.	(আল আ'রাফ: আয়াতঃ ১৪৬)
5	আর তাদের মত হয়ে যেয়ো না, যারা বেরিয়েছে নিজেদের অবস্থান থেকে গর্বিতভাবে এবং লোকদেরকে দেখাবার উদ্দেশে। আর আল্লাহর পথে তারা বাধা দান করত। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহর আয়ত্বে রয়েছে সে সমস্ত বিষয় যা তারা করে। And be not like those who started from their homes insolently and to be seen of men, and to hinder (men) from the path of Allah: For Allah compasseth round about all that they do.	(আল-আনফাল: আয়াতঃ ৪৭)
6	যখন মোনাফেকরা বলতে লাগল এবং যাদের অন্তর ব্যাধিগ্রস্ত, এরা নিজেদের ধর্মের উপর গর্বিত। বস্তুতঃ যারা ভরসা করে আল্লাহর উপর, সে নিশ্চিন্ত, কেননা আল্লাহ অতি পরাক্রমশীল, সুবিজ্ঞ। Lo! the hypocrites say, and those in whose hearts is a disease: "These people,- their religion has misled them." But if any trust in Allah, behold! Allah is Exalted in might, Wise.	(আল-আনফাল: আয়াতঃ ৪৯)
7	অহংকারবশে তুমি মানুষকে অবজ্ঞা করো না এবং পৃথিবীতে গর্বভরে পদচারণ করো না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ কোন দাম্ভিক অহংকারীকে পছন্দ করেন না। "And swell not thy cheek (for pride) at men, nor walk in insolence through the earth; for Allah loveth not any arrogant boaster.	(লোকমান: আয়াতঃ ১৮)
