তিনি বললেন, হে আদম, ফেরেশতাদেরকে বলে দাও এসবের নাম। তারপর যখন তিনি বলে দিলেন সে সবের নাম, তখন তিনি বললেন, আমি কি তোমাদেরকে বলিনি যে, আমি আসমান ও যমীনের যাবতীয় গোপন বিষয় সম্পর্কে খুব ভাল করেই অবগত রয়েছি? এবং সেসব বিষয়ও জানি যা তোমরা প্রকাশ কর, আর যা তোমরা গোপন কর!
He said: "O Adam! Tell them their names." When he had told them, Allah said: "Did I not tell you that I know the secrets of heaven and earth, and I know what ye reveal and what ye conceal?" |

আয়াতঃ ৩৩) |

যার বিনিময়ে তারা নিজেদের বিক্রি করেছে, তা খুবই মন্দ; যেহেতু তারা আল্লাহ যা নযিল করেছেন, তা অস্বীকার করেছে এই হঠকারিতার দরুন যে, আল্লাহ স্বীয় বান্দাদের মধ্যে যার প্রতি ইচ্ছা অনুগ্রহ নাযিল করেন। অতএব, তারা ক্রোধের উপর ক্রোধ অর্জন করেছে। আর কাফেরদের জন্য রয়েছে অপমানজনক শাস্তি।
Miserable is the price for which they have sold their souls, in that they deny (the revelation) which Allah has sent down, in insolent envy that Allah of His Grace should send it to any of His servants He pleases: Thus have they drawn on themselves Wrath upon Wrath. And humiliating is the punishment of those who reject Faith. |

তারা ঐ শাস্ত্রের অনুসরণ করল, যা সুলায়মানের রাজত্ব কালে শয়তানরা আবৃত্তি করত। সুলায়মান কুফর করেনি; শয়তানরাই কুফর করেছিল। তারা মানুষকে জাদুবিদ্যা এবং বাবেল শহরে হারুত ও মারুত দুই ফেরেশতার প্রতি যা অবতীর্ণ হয়েছিল, তা শিক্ষা দিত। তারা উভয়ই একথা না বলে কাউকে শিক্ষা দিত না যে, আমরা পরীক্ষার জন্য; কাজেই তুমি কাফের হয়ো না। অতঃপর তারা তাদের কাছ থেকে এমন জাদু শিখত, যদ্দ্বারা স্বামী ও স্ত্রীর মধ্যে বিচ্ছেদ ঘটে। তারা আল্লাহর আদেশ ছাড়া তদ্দ্বারা কারও অনিষ্ট করতে পারত না। যা তাদের ক্ষতি করে এবং উপকার না করে, তারা তাই শিখে। তারা ভালরূপে জানে যে, যে কেউ জাদু অবলম্বন করে, তার জন্য পরকালে কোন অংশ নেই। যার বিনিময়ে তারা আত্নবিক্রয় করেছে, তা খুবই মন্দ যদি তারা জানত।
They followed what the evil ones gave out (falsely) against the power of Solomon: the blasphemers Were, not Solomon, but the evil ones, teaching men Magic, and such things as came down at babylon to the angels Harut and Marut. But neither of these taught anyone (Such things) without saying: "We are only for trial; so do not blaspheme." They learned from them the means to sow discord between man and wife. But they could not thus harm anyone except by Allah's permission. And they learned what harmed them, not what profited them. And they knew that the buyers of (magic) would have no share in the happiness of the Hereafter. And vile was the price for which they did sell their souls, if they but knew! |

যদি তোমরা প্রকাশ্যে দান-খয়রাত কর, তবে তা কতইনা উত্তম। আর যদি খয়রাত গোপনে কর এবং অভাবগ্রস্তদের দিয়ে দাও, তবে তা তোমাদের জন্যে আরও উত্তম। আল্লাহ তা’আলা তোমাদের কিছু গোনাহ দূর করে দিবেন। আল্লাহ তোমাদের কাজ কর্মের খুব খবর রাখেন।
If ye disclose (acts of) charity, even so it is well, but if ye conceal them, and make them reach those (really) in need, that is best for you: It will remove from you some of your (stains of) evil. And Allah is well acquainted with what ye do. |

যদি খাতক অভাবগ্রস্থ হয়, তবে তাকে সচ্ছলতা আসা পর্যন্ত সময় দেয়া উচিত। আর যদি ক্ষমা করে দাও, তবে তা খুবই উত্তম যদি তোমরা উপলব্ধি কর।
If the debtor is in a difficulty, grant him time Till it is easy for him to repay. But if ye remit it by way of charity, that is best for you if ye only knew. |

আর তোমরা যদি প্রবাসে থাক এবং কোন লেখক না পাও তবে বন্ধকী বন্তু হস্তগত রাখা উচিত। যদি একে অন্যকে বিশ্বাস করে, তবে যাকে বিশ্বাস করা হয়, তার উচিত অন্যের প্রাপ্য পরিশোধ করা এবং স্বীয় পালনকর্তা আল্লাহকে ভয় কর! তোমরা সাক্ষ্য গোপন করো না। যে কেউ তা গোপন করবে, তার অন্তর পাপপূর্ণ হবে। তোমরা যা করা, আল্লাহ সে সম্পর্কে খুব জ্ঞাত।
If ye are on a journey, and cannot find a scribe, a pledge with possession (may serve the purpose). And if one of you deposits a thing on trust with another, Let the trustee (Faithfully) discharge His trust, and let him fear his Lord. Conceal not evidence; for whoever conceals it,- His heart is tainted with sin. And Allah Knoweth all that ye do. |

কাফেরদিগকে বলে দিন, খুব শিগগীরই তোমরা পরাভূত হয়ে দোযখের দিকে হাঁকিয়ে নীত হবে-সেটা কতই না নিকৃষ্টতম অবস্থান।
Say to those who reject Faith: "Soon will ye be vanquished and gathered together to Hell,-an evil bed indeed (to lie on)! |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১২) |

খুব শীঘ্রই আমি কাফেরদের মনে ভীতির সঞ্চার করবো। কারণ, ওরা আল্লাহর সাথে অংশীদার সাব্যস্ত করে যে সম্পর্কে কোন সনদ অবতীর্ণ করা হয়নি। আর ওদের ঠিকানা হলো দোযখের আগুন। বস্তুতঃ জালেমদের ঠিকানা অত্যন্ত নিকৃষ্ট।
Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority: their abode will be the Fire: And evil is the home of the wrong-doers! |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৫১) |
| 9 |
আর যে কেউ সীমালঙ্ঘন কিংবা জুলুমের বশবর্তী হয়ে এরূপ করবে, তাকে খুব শীঘ্রই আগুনে নিক্ষেপ করা হবে। এটা আল্লাহর পক্ষে খুবই সহজসাধ্য।
If any do that in rancour and injustice,- soon shall We cast them into the Fire: And easy it is for Allah. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৩০) |
| 10 |
হে মুমিনগণ, তোমরা আল্লাহর উদ্দেশে ন্যায় সাক্ষ্যদানের ব্যাপারে অবিচল থাকবে এবং কোন সম্প্রদায়ের শত্রুতার কারণে কখনও ন্যায়বিচার পরিত্যাগ করো না। সুবিচার কর এটাই খোদাভীতির অধিক নিকটবর্তী। আল্লাহকে ভয় কর। তোমরা যা কর, নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সে বিষয়ে খুব জ্ঞাত।
O ye who believe! stand out firmly for Allah, as witnesses to fair dealing, and let not the hatred of others to you make you swerve to wrong and depart from justice. Be just: that is next to piety: and fear Allah. For Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৮) |

যখন তারা তোমাদের কাছে আসে তখন বলে দাওঃ আমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছি। অথচ তারা কুফর নিয়ে এসেছিল এবং কুফর নিয়েই প্রস্থান করেছে। তারা যা গোপন করত, আল্লাহ তা খুব জানেন।
When they come to thee, they say: "We believe": but in fact they enter with a mind against Faith, and they go out with the same but Allah knoweth fully all that they hide. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৬১) |
| 12 |
দরবেশ ও আলেমরা কেন তাদেরকে পাপ কথা বলতে এবং হারাম ভক্ষণ করতে নিষেধ করে না? তারা খুবই মন্দ কাজ করছে।
Why do not the rabbis and the doctors of Law forbid them from their (habit of) uttering sinful words and eating things forbidden? Evil indeed are their works. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৩) |

অতঃপর তারা যখন ঐ উপদেশ ভুলে গেল, যা তাদেরকে দেয়া হয়েছিল, তখন আমি তাদের সামনে সব কিছুর দ্বার উম্মুক্ত করে দিলাম। এমনকি, যখন তাদেরকে প্রদত্ত বিষয়াদির জন্যে তারা খুব গর্বিত হয়ে পড়ল, তখন আমি অকস্মাৎ তাদেরকে পাকড়াও করলাম। তখন তারা নিরাশ হয়ে গেল।
But when they forgot the warning they had received, We opened to them the gates of all (good) things, until, in the midst of their enjoyment of Our gifts, on a sudden, We called them to account, when lo! they were plunged in despair! |
(আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪) |
| 14 |
এমনি ভাবে আমি নিদর্শনাবলী ঘুরিয়ে-ফিরিয়ে বর্ণনা করি যাতে তারা না বলে যে, আপনি তো পড়ে নিয়েছেন এবং যাতে আমি একে সুধীবৃন্দের জন্যে খুব পরিব্যক্ত করে দেই।
Thus do we explain the signs by various (symbols): that they may say, "Thou hast taught (us) diligently," and that We may make the matter clear to those who know. |

আয়াতঃ ১০৫) |
| 15 |
আপনার প্রতিপালক তাদের সম্পর্কে খুব জ্ঞাত রয়েছেন, যারা তাঁর পথ থেকে বিপথগামী হয় এবং তিনি তাদেরকেও খুব ভাল করে জানেন, যারা তাঁর পথে অনুগমন করে।
Thy Lord knoweth best who strayeth from His way: He knoweth best who they are that receive His guidance. |
(আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১১৭) |
| 16 |
এটি এমন একটি গ্রন্থ, যা আমি অবতীর্ণ করেছি, খুব মঙ্গলময়, অতএব, এর অনুসরণ কর এবং ভয় কর-যাতে তোমরা করুণাপ্রাপ্ত হও।
And this is a Book which We have revealed as a blessing: so follow it and be righteous, that ye may receive mercy: |

আয়াতঃ ১৫৫) |
| 17 |
তাঁর সম্প্রদায় এ ছাড়া কোন উত্তর দিল না যে, বের করে দাও এদেরকে শহর থেকে। এরা খুব সাধু থাকতে চায়।
And his people gave no answer but this: they said, "Drive them out of your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure!" |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৮২) |
| 18 |
তারা কি জেনে নেয়নি যে, আল্লাহ তাদের রহস্য ও শলা-পরামর্শ সম্পর্কে অবগত এবং আল্লাহ খুব ভাল করেই জানেন সমস্ত গোপন বিষয় ?
Know they not that Allah doth know their secret (thoughts) and their secret counsels, and that Allah knoweth well all things unseen? |
(আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৮) |
| 19 |
মেহমান ফেরেশতাগন বলল-হে লূত (আঃ) আমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ হতে প্রেরিত ফেরেশতা। এরা কখনো তোমার দিকে পৌঁছাতে পারবে না। ব্যস তুমি কিছুটা রাত থাকতে থাকতে নিজের লোকজন নিয়ে বাইরে চলে যাও। আর তোমাদের কেউ যেন পিছনে ফিরে না তাকায়। কিন্তু তোমার স্ত্রী নিশ্চয় তার উপরও তা আপতিত হবে, যা ওদের উপর আপতিত হবে। ভোর বেলাই তাদের প্রতিশ্রুতির সময়, ভোর কি খুব নিকটে নয়?
(The Messengers) said: "O Lut! We are Messengers from thy Lord! By no means shall they reach thee! now travel with thy family while yet a part of the night remains, and let not any of you look back: but thy wife (will remain behind): To her will happen what happens to the people. Morning is their time appointed: Is not the morning nigh?" |

আয়াতঃ ৮১) |
| 20 |
যার প্রতিটি তোমার পালনকর্তার নিকট চিহ্নিত ছিল। আর সেই পাপিষ্ঠদের থেকে খুব দূরেও নয়।
Marked as from thy Lord: Nor are they ever far from those who do wrong! |
(হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৮৩) |
| 21 |
আর হে আমার জাতি! আমার সাথে জিদ করে তোমরা নূহ বা হুদ অথবা সালেহ (আঃ) এর কওমের মত নিজেদের উপর আযাব ডেকে আনবে না। আর লূতের জাতি তো তোমাদের থেকে খুব দূরে নয়।
"And O my people! let not my dissent (from you) cause you to sin, lest ye suffer a fate similar to that of the people of Noah or of Hud or of Salih, nor are the people of Lut far off from you! |

আয়াতঃ ৮৯) |
| 22 |
আর তোমাদের পালনকর্তার কাছে মার্জনা চাও এবং তাঁরই পানে ফিরে এসো নিশ্চয়ই আমার পরওয়ারদেগার খুবই মেহেরবান অতিস্নেহময়।
"But ask forgiveness of your Lord, and turn unto Him (in repentance): For my Lord is indeed full of mercy and loving-kindness." |
(হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৯০) |
| 23 |
আর তোমার পরওয়ারদেগার যখন কোন পাপপূর্ণ জনপদকে ধরেন, তখন এমনিভাবেই ধরে থাকেন। নিশ্চয় তাঁর পাকড়াও খুবই মারাত্নক, বড়ই কঠোর।
Such is the chastisement of thy Lord when He chastises communities in the midst of their wrong: grievous, indeed, and severe is His chastisement. |
(হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ১০২) |
| 24 |
এবং একটি কাফেলা এল। অতঃপর তাদের পানি সংগ্রাহককে প্রেরণ করল। সে বালতি ফেলল। বললঃ কি আনন্দের কথা। এ তো একটি কিশোর তারা তাকে পন্যদ্রব্য গণ্য করে গোপন করে ফেলল। আল্লাহ খুব জানেন যা কিছু তারা করেছিল।
Then there came a caravan of travellers: they sent their water-carrier (for water), and he let down his bucket (into the well)... He said: "Ah there! Good news! Here is a (fine) young man!" So they concealed him as a treasure! But Allah knoweth well all that they do! |
(ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৯) |
| 25 |
অতঃপর গৃহস্বামী যখন দেখল যে, তার জামা পেছন দিক থেকে ছিন্ন, তখন সে বলল, নিশ্চয় এটা তোমাদের ছলনা। নিঃসন্দেহে তোমাদের ছলনা খুবই মারাত্নক।
So when he saw his shirt,- that it was torn at the back,- (her husband) said: "Behold! It is a snare of you women! truly, mighty is your snare! |
(ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ২৮) |
| 26 |
তারা বলতে লাগলঃ যদি সে চুরি করে থাকে, তবে তার এক ভাইও ইতিপূর্বে চুরি করেছিল। তখন ইউসুফ প্রকৃত ব্যাপার নিজের মনে রাখলেন এবং তাদেরকে জানালেন না। মনে মনে বললেনঃ তোমরা লোক হিসাবে নিতান্ত মন্দ এবং আল্লাহ খুব জ্ঞাত রয়েছেন, যা তোমরা বর্ণনা করছ;
They said: "If he steals, there was a brother of his who did steal before (him)." But these things did Joseph keep locked in his heart, revealing not the secrets to them. He (simply) said (to himself): "Ye are the worse situated; and Allah knoweth best the truth of what ye assert!" |
(ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৭) |
| 27 |
তারা বলতে লাগলঃ হে আযীয, তার পিতা আছেন, যিনি খুবই বৃদ্ধ বয়স্ক। সুতরাং আপনি আমাদের একজনকে তার বদলে রেখে দিন। আমরা আপনাকে অনুগ্রহশীল ব্যক্তিদের একজন দেখতে পাচ্ছি।
They said: "O exalted one! Behold! he has a father, aged and venerable, (who will grieve for him); so take one of us in his place; for we see that thou art (gracious) in doing good." |
(ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৮) |
| 28 |
ফলে কেয়ামতের দিন ওরা পূর্ণমাত্রায় বহন করবে ওদের পাপভার এবং পাপভার তাদেরও যাদেরকে তারা তাদের অজ্ঞতাহেতু বিপথগামী করে শুনে নাও, খুবই নিকৃষ্ট বোঝা যা তারা বহন করে।
Let them bear, on the Day of Judgment, their own burdens in full, and also (something) of the burdens of those without knowledge, whom they misled. Alas, how grievous the burdens they will bear! |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ২৫) |
| 29 |
অতঃপর কেয়ামতের দিন তিনি তাদেরকে লাঞ্ছিত করবেন এবং বলবেনঃ আমার অংশীদাররা কোথায়, যাদের ব্যাপারে তোমরা খুব হঠকারিতা করতে ? যারা জ্ঞানপ্রাপ্ত হয়েছিল তারা বলবেঃ নিশ্চয়ই আজকের দিনে লাঞ্ছনা ও দুর্গতি কাফেরদের জন্যে,
Then, on the Day of Judgment, He will cover them with shame, and say: "Where are My 'partners' concerning whom ye used to dispute (with the godly)?" Those endued with knowledge will say: "This Day, indeed, are the Unbelievers covered with shame and misery,- |

আয়াতঃ ২৭) |
| 30 |
তাকে শোনানো সুসংবাদের দুঃখে সে লোকদের কাছ থেকে মুখ লুকিয়ে থাকে। সে ভাবে, অপমান সহ্য করে তাকে থাকতে দেবে, না তাকে মাটির নীচে পুতে ফেলবে। শুনে রাখ, তাদের ফয়সালা খুবই নিকৃষ্ট।
With shame does he hide himself from his people, because of the bad news he has had! Shall he retain it on (sufferance and) contempt, or bury it in the dust? Ah! what an evil (choice) they decide on? |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৫৯) |
| 31 |
মানুষ যেভাবে কল্যাণ কামনা করে, সেভাবেই অকল্যাণ কামনা করে। মানুষ তো খুবই দ্রুততা প্রিয়।
The prayer that man should make for good, he maketh for evil; for man is given to hasty (deeds). |
(বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ১১) |
| 32 |
অথবা এমন কোন বস্তু, যা তোমাদের ধারণায় খুবই কঠিন; তথাপি তারা বলবেঃ আমাদের কে পুর্নবার কে সৃষ্টি করবে। বলুনঃ যিনি তোমাদেরকে প্রথমবার সৃজন করেছেন। অতঃপর তারা আপনার সামনে মাথা নাড়বে এবং বলবেঃ এটা কবে হবে? বলুনঃ হবে, সম্ভবতঃ শ্রীঘ্রই।
"Or created matter which, in your minds, is hardest (to be raised up),- (Yet shall ye be raised up)!" then will they say: "Who will cause us to return?" Say: "He who created you first!" Then will they wag their heads towards thee, and say, "When will that be?" Say, "May be it will be quite soon! |
(বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৫১) |
| 33 |
বলুনঃ সত্য তোমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে আগত। অতএব, যার ইচ্ছা, বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করুক এবং যার ইচ্ছা অমান্য করুক। আমি জালেমদের জন্যে অগ্নি প্রস্তুত করে রেখেছি, যার বেষ্টনী তাদের কে পরিবেষ্টন করে থাকবে। যদি তারা পানীয় প্রার্থনা করে, তবে পুঁজের ন্যায় পানীয় দেয়া হবে যা তাদের মুখমন্ডল দগ্ধ করবে। কত নিকৃষ্ট পানীয় এবং খুবই মন্দ আশ্রয়।
Say, "The truth is from your Lord": Let him who will believe, and let him who will, reject (it): for the wrong-doers We have prepared a Fire whose (smoke and flames), like the walls and roof of a tent, will hem them in: if they implore relief they will be granted water like melted brass, that will scald their faces, how dreadful the drink! How uncomfortable a couch to recline on! |
(কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ২৯) |
| 34 |
যখন আমি ফেরেশতাদেরকে বললামঃ আদমকে সেজদা কর, তখন সবাই সেজদা করল ইবলীস ব্যতীত। সে ছিল জিনদের একজন। সে তার পালনকর্তার আদেশ অমান্য করল। অতএব তোমরা কি আমার পরিবর্তে তাকে এবং তার বংশধরকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করছ? অথচ তারা তোমাদের শত্রু। এটা জালেমদের জন্যে খুবই নিকৃষ্ট বদল।
Behold! We said to the angels, "Bow down to Adam": They bowed down except Iblis. He was one of the Jinns, and he broke the Command of his Lord. Will ye then take him and his progeny as protectors rather than Me? And they are enemies to you! Evil would be the exchange for the wrong-doers! |
(কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৫০) |
| 35 |
বলুনঃ আমি কি তোমাদেরকে সেসব লোকের সংবাদ দেব, যারা কর্মের দিক দিয়ে খুবই ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।
Say: "Shall we tell you of those who lose most in respect of their deeds?- |
(কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ১০৩) |

তোমরা উভয়ে ফেরআউনের কাছে যাও সে খুব উদ্ধত হয়ে গেছে।
"Go, both of you, to Pharaoh, for he has indeed transgressed all bounds; |
(ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৪৩) |
| 37 |
তিনি তোমাদের কান, চোখ ও অন্তঃকরণ সৃষ্টি করেছেন; তোমরা খুবই অল্প কৃতজ্ঞতা স্বীকার করে থাক।
It is He Who has created for you (the faculties of) hearing, sight, feeling and understanding: little thanks it is ye give! |
(আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৭৮) |
| 38 |
মুমিনদেরকে বলুন, তারা যেন তাদের দৃষ্টি নত রাখে এবং তাদের যৌনাঙ্গর হেফাযত করে। এতে তাদের জন্য খুব পবিত্রতা আছে। নিশ্চয় তারা যা করে আল্লাহ তা অবহিত আছেন।
Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: And Allah is well acquainted with all that they do. |
(আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ৩০) |
| 39 |
তবে তাদের কথা ভিন্ন, যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে এবং আল্লাহ কে খুব স্মরণ করে এবং নিপীড়িত হওয়ার পর প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণ করে। নিপীড়নকারীরা শীঘ্রই জানতে পারবে তাদের গন্তব্যস্থল কিরূপ।
Except those who believe, work righteousness, engage much in the remembrance of Allah, and defend themselves only after they are unjustly attacked. And soon will the unjust assailants know what vicissitudes their affairs will take! |
(আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ২২৭) |

যখন তিনি মাদইয়ানের কূপের ধারে পৌছলেন, তখন কূপের কাছে একদল লোককে পেলেন তারা জন্তুদেরকে পানি পান করানোর কাজে রত। এবং তাদের পশ্চাতে দূ’জন স্ত্রীলোককে দেখলেন তারা তাদের জন্তুদেরকে আগলিয়ে রাখছে। তিনি বললেন, তোমাদের কি ব্যাপার? তারা বলল, আমরা আমাদের জন্তুদেরকে পানি পান করাতে পারি না, যে পর্যন্ত রাখালরা তাদের জন্তুদেরকে নিয়ে সরে না যায়। আমাদের পিতা খুবই বৃদ্ধ।
And when he arrived at the watering (place) in Madyan, he found there a group of men watering (their flocks), and besides them he found two women who were keeping back (their flocks). He said: "What is the matter with you?" They said: "We cannot water (our flocks) until the shepherds take back (their flocks): And our father is a very old man." |
(আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ২৩) |

যারা মন্দ কাজ করে, তারা কি মনে করে যে, তারা আমার হাত থেকে বেঁচে যাবে? তাদের ফয়সালা খুবই মন্দ।
Do those who practise evil think that they will get the better of Us? Evil is their judgment! |
(আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৪) |
| 42 |
আল্লাহ খুব জানেন তোমাদের মধ্যে কারা তোমাদেরকে বাধা দেয় এবং কারা তাদের ভাইদেরকে বলে, আমাদের কাছে এস। তারা কমই যুদ্ধ করে।
Verily Allah knows those among you who keep back (men) and those who say to their brethren, "Come along to us", but come not to the fight except for just a little while. |
(আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ১৮) |

অতঃপর যখন তাদের আঙ্গিনায় আযাব নাযিল হবে, তখন যাদেরকে সতর্ক করা হয়েছিল, তাদের সকাল বেলাটি হবে খুবই মন্দ।
But when it descends into the open space before them, evil will be the morning for those who were warned (and heeded not)! |
(আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ১৭৭) |

যারা নিজেদের কাছে আগত কোন দলীল ছাড়াই আল্লাহর আয়াত সম্পর্কে বিতর্ক করে, তাদের একজন আল্লাহ ও মুমিনদের কাছে খুবই অসন্তোষজনক। এমনিভাবে আল্লাহ প্রত্যেক অহংকারী-স্বৈরাচারী ব্যক্তির অন্তরে মোহর এঁটে দেন।
"(Such) as dispute about the Signs of Allah, without any authority that hath reached them, grievous and odious (is such conduct) in the sight of Allah and of the Believers. Thus doth Allah, seal up every heart - of arrogant and obstinate Transgressors." |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫) |

যদি তারা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তবে আপনাকে আমি তাদের রক্ষক করে পাঠাইনি। আপনার কর্তব্য কেবল প্রচার করা। আমি তাদের রক্ষক করে পাঠাইনি। আপনার কর্তব্য কেবল প্রচার করা। আমি যখন মানুষকে আমার রহমত আস্বাদন করাই, তখন সে উল্লসিত, আর যখন তাদের কৃতকর্মের কারণে তাদের কোন অনিষ্ট ঘটে, তখন মানুষ খুব অকৃতজ্ঞ হয়ে যায়।
If then they run away, We have not sent thee as a guard over them. Thy duty is but to convey (the Message). And truly, when We give man a taste of a Mercy from Ourselves, he doth exult thereat, but when some ill happens to him, on account of the deeds which his hands have sent forth, truly then is man ungrateful! |
(আশ-শুরা:
আয়াতঃ ৪৮) |

বরং তোমরা ধারণ করেছিলে যে, রসূল ও মুমিনগণ তাদের বাড়ী-ঘরে কিছুতেই ফিরে আসতে পারবে না এবং এই ধারণা তোমাদের জন্যে খুবই সুখকর ছিল। তোমরা মন্দ ধারণার বশবর্তী হয়েছিলে। তোমরা ছিলে ধ্বংসমুখী এক সম্প্রদায়।
"Nay, ye thought that the Messenger and the Believers would never return to their families; this seemed pleasing in your hearts, and ye conceived an evil thought, for ye are a people lost (in wickedness)." |
(আল ফাতহ:
আয়াতঃ ১২) |

এমতাবস্থায় এটা তো হবে খুবই অসংগত বন্টন।
Behold, such would be indeed a division most unfair! |
(আন-নাজম:
আয়াতঃ ২২) |
| 48 |
আল্লাহ তাদের জন্যে কঠোর শাস্তি প্রস্তুত রেখেছেন। নিশ্চয় তারা যা করে, খুবই মন্দ।
Allah has prepared for them a severe Penalty: evil indeed are their deeds. |
(আল মুজাদালাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৫) |

মুমিনগণ, তোমরা আমার ও তোমাদের শত্রুদেরকে বন্ধরূপে গ্রহণ করো না। তোমরা তো তাদের প্রতি বন্ধুত্বের বার্তা পাঠাও, অথচ তারা যে সত্য তোমাদের কাছে আগমন করেছে, তা অস্বীকার করছে। তারা রসূলকে ও তোমাদেরকে বহিস্কার করে এই অপরাধে যে, তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস রাখ। যদি তোমরা আমার সন্তুষ্টিলাভের জন্যে এবং আমার পথে জেহাদ করার জন্যে বের হয়ে থাক, তবে কেন তাদের প্রতি গোপনে বন্ধুত্বের পয়গাম প্রেরণ করছ? তোমরা যা গোপন কর এবং যা প্রকাশ কর, ত আমি খুব জানি। তোমাদের মধ্যে যে এটা করে, সে সরলপথ থেকে বিচ্যুত হয়ে যায়।
O ye who believe! Take not my enemies and yours as friends (or protectors),- offering them (your) love, even though they have rejected the Truth that has come to you, and have (on the contrary) driven out the Prophet and yourselves (from your homes), (simply) because ye believe in Allah your Lord! If ye have come out to strive in My Way and to seek My Good Pleasure, (take them not as friends), holding secret converse of love (and friendship) with them: for I know full well all that ye conceal and all that ye reveal. And any of you that does this has strayed from the Straight Path. |
(আল মুমতাহিনা:

তোমরা যা কর না, তা বলা আল্লাহর কাছে খুবই অসন্তোষজনক।
Grievously odious is it in the sight of Allah that ye say that which ye do not. |
(আছ-ছফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩) |
| 51 |
তারা তাদের শপথসমূহকে ঢালরূপে ব্যবহার করে। অতঃপর তারা আল্লাহর পথে বাধা সৃষ্টি করে। তারা যা করছে, তা খুবই মন্দ।
They have made their oaths a screen (for their misdeeds): thus they obstruct (men) from the Path of Allah: truly evil are their deeds. |
(মুনাফিকুন:
আয়াতঃ ২) |
| 52 |
আমি যতবারই তাদেরকে দাওয়াত দিয়েছি, যাতে আপনি তাদেরকে ক্ষমা করেন, ততবারই তারা কানে অঙ্গুলি দিয়েছে, মুখমন্ডল বস্ত্রাবৃত করেছে, জেদ করেছে এবং খুব ঔদ্ধত্য প্রদর্শন করেছে।
"And every time I have called to them, that Thou mightest forgive them, they have (only) thrust their fingers into their ears, covered themselves up with their garments, grown obstinate, and given themselves up to arrogance. |

আয়াতঃ ৭) |
| 53 |
এবং তাকে খুব সচ্ছলতা দিয়েছি।
To whom I made (life) smooth and comfortable! |
(আল মুদ্দাসসির:
আয়াতঃ ১৪) |
