নং	আয়াত	সূরা
1	যখন আমি বনী-ইসরাঈলের কাছ থেকে অঙ্গীকার নিলাম যে, তোমরা আল্লাহ ছাড়া কারও উপাসনা করবে না, পিতা-মাতা, আত্নীয়-স্বজন, এতীম ও দীন-দরিদ্রদের সাথে সদ্ব্যবহার করবে, মানুষকে সৎ কথাবার্তা বলবে, নামায প্রতিষ্ঠা করবে এবং যাকাত দেবে, তখন সামান্য কয়েকজন ছাড়া তোমরা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিলে, তোমরাই অগ্রাহ্যকারী। And remember We took a covenant from the Children of Israel (to this effect): Worship none but Allah; treat with kindness your parents and kindred, and orphans and those in need; speak fair to the people; be steadfast in prayer; and practise regular charity. Then did ye turn back, except a few among you, and ye backslide (even now).	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ৮৩)
2	মূসার পরে তুমি কি বনী ইসরাঈলের একটি দলকে দেখনি, যখন তারা বলেছে নিজেদের নবীর কাছে যে, আমাদের জন্য একজন বাদশাহ নির্ধারিত করে দিন যাতে আমরা আল্লাহর পথে যুদ্ধ করতে পারি। নবী বললেন, তোমাদের প্রতিও কি এমন ধারণা করা যায় যে, লড়াইর হুকুম যদি হয়, তাহলে তখন তোমরা লড়বে না? তারা বলল, আমাদের কি হয়েছে যে, আমরা আল্লাহর পথে লড়াই করব না। অথচ আমরা বিতাড়িত হয়েছি নিজেদের ঘর-বাড়ী ও সন্তান-সন্ততি থেকে। অতঃপর যখন লড়াইয়ের নির্দেশ হলো, তখন সামান্য কয়েকজন ছাড়া তাদের সবাই ঘুরে দাঁড়ালো। আর আল্লাহ তা’আলা জালেমদের ভাল করেই জানেন। Hast thou not Turned thy vision to the Chiefs of the Children of Israel after (the time of) Moses? they said to a prophet (That was) among them: "Appoint for us a king, that we May fight in the cause of Allah." He said: "Is it not possible, if ye were commanded to fight, that that ye will not fight?" They said: "How could we refuse to fight in the cause of Allah, seeing that we were turned out of our homes and our families?" but when they were commanded to fight, they turned back, except a small band among them. But Allah Has full knowledge of those who do wrong.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ২৪৬)
3	অতঃপর তালূত যখন সৈন্য-সামন্ত নিয়ে বেরুল, তখন বলল, নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তোমাদিগকে পরীক্ষা করবেন একটি নদীর মাধ্যমে। সুতরাং যে লোক সেই নদীর পানি পান করবে সে আমার নয়। আর যে, লোক তার স্বাদ গ্রহণ করলো না, নিশ্চয়ই সে আমার লোক। কিন্তু যে লোক হাতের আঁজলা ভরে সামান্য খেয়ে নেবে তার দোষঅবশ্য তেমন গুরুতর হবে না। অতঃপর সবাই পান করল সে পানি, সামান্য কয়েকজন ছাড়া। পরে তালূত যখন তা পার হলো এবং তার সাথে ছিল মাত্র কয়েকজন ঈমানদার, তখন তারা বলতে লাগল, আজকের দিনে জালূত এবং তার সেনাবাহিনীর সাথে যুদ্ধ করার শক্তি আমাদের নেই, যাদের ধারণা ছিল যে, আল্লাহর সামনে তাদের একদিন উপস্থিত হতে হবে, তারা বার বার বলতে লাগল, সামান্য দলই বিরাট দলের মোকাবেলায় জয়ী হয়েছে আল্লাহর হুকুমে। আর যারা ধৈর্য্যশীল আল্লাহ তাদের সাথে রয়েছেন। When Talut set forth with the armies, he said: "Allah will test you at the stream: if any drinks of its water, He goes not with my army: Only those who taste not of it go with me: A mere sip out of the hand is excused." but they all drank of it, except a few. When they crossed the river,- He and the faithful ones with him,- they said: "This day We cannot cope with Goliath and his forces." but those who were convinced that they must meet Allah, said: "How oft, by Allah's will, Hath a small force vanquished a big one? Allah is with those who steadfastly persevere."	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ২৪৯)
4	আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে তোমাদের সন্তানদের সম্পর্কে আদেশ করেনঃ একজন পুরুষের অংশ দু?জন নারীর অংশের সমান। অতঃপর যদি শুধু নারীই হয় দু' এর অধিক, তবে তাদের জন্যে ঐ মালের তিন ভাগের দুই ভাগ যা ত্যাগ করে মরে এবং যদি একজনই হয়, তবে তার জন্যে অর্ধেক। মৃতের পিতা-মাতার মধ্য থেকে প্রত্যেকের জন্যে ত্যাজ্য সম্পত্তির ছয় ভাগের এক ভাগ, যদি মৃতের পুত্র থাকে। যদি পুত্র না থাকে এবং পিতা-মাতাই ওয়ারিস হয়, তবে মাতা পাবে তিন ভাগের এক ভাগ। অতঃপর যদি মৃতের কয়েকজন ভাই থাকে, তবে তার মাতা পাবে ছয় ভাগের এক ভাগ ওছিয়্যতের পর, যা করে মরেছে কিংবা ঋণ পরিশোধের পর। তোমাদের পিতা ও পুত্রের মধ্যে কে তোমাদের জন্যে অধিক উপকারী তোমরা জান না। এটা আল্লাহ কতৃক নির্ধারিত অংশ নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সর্বজ্ঞ, রহস্যবিদ। Allah (thus) directs you as regards your Children's (Inheritance): to the male, a portion equal to that of two females: if only daughters, two or more, their share is two-thirds of the inheritance; if only one, her share is a half. For parents, a sixth share of the inheritance to each, if the deceased left children; if no children, and the parents are the (only) heirs, the mother has a third; if the deceased Left brothers (or sisters) the mother has a sixth. (The distribution in all cases ('s) after the payment of legacies and debts. Ye know not whether your parents or your children are nearest to you in benefit. These are settled portions ordained by Allah; and Allah is All-knowing, Al-wise.	(আন নিসা: আয়াতঃ ১১)
5	আর যদি আমি তাদের নির্দেশ দিতাম যে, নিজেদের প্রাণ ধ্বংস করে দাও কিংবা নিজেদের নগরী ছেড়ে বেরিয়ে যাও, তবে তারা তা করত না; অবশ্য তাদের মধ্যে অল্প কয়েকজন। যদি তারা তাই করে যা তাদের উপদেশ দেয়া হয়, তবে তা অবশ্যই তাদের জন্য উত্তম এং তাদেরকে নিজের ধর্মের উপর সুদৃঢ় রাখার জন্য তা উত্তম হবে। If We had ordered them to sacrifice their lives or to leave their homes, very few of them would have done it: But if they had done what they were (actually) told, it would have been best for them, and would have gone farthest to strengthen their (faith);	(আন নিসা: আয়াতঃ ৬৬)
6	অতএব, তাদের অঙ্গীকার ভঙ্গের দরুন আমি তাদের উপর অভিসম্পাত করেছি এবং তাদের অন্তরকে কঠোর করে দিয়েছি। তারা কালামকে তার স্থান থেকে বিচ্যুত করে দেয় এবং তাদেরকে যে উপদেশ দেয়া হয়েছিল, তারা তা থেকে উপকার লাভ করার বিষয়টি বিস্মৃত হয়েছে। আপনি সর্বদা তাদের কোন না কোন প্রতারণা সম্পর্কে অবগত হতে থাকেন, তাদের অল্প কয়েকজন ছাড়া। অতএব, আপনি তাদেরকে ক্ষমা করুন এবং মার্জনা করুন। আল্লাহ অনুগ্রহকারীদেরকে ভালবাসেন। But because of their breach of their covenant, We cursed them, and made their hearts grow hard; they change the words from their (right) places and forget a good part of the message that was sent them, nor wilt thou cease to find them- barring a few - ever bent on (new) deceits: but forgive them, and overlook (their misdeeds): for Allah loveth those who are kind.	(আল মায়িদাহ: আয়াতঃ ১৩)
7	মুমিনগণ, তোমরা এহরাম অবস্থায় শিকার বধ করো না। তোমাদের মধ্যে যে জেনেশুনে শিকার বধ করবে, তার উপর বিনিময় ওয়াজেব হবে, যা সমান হবে ঐ জন্তুর, যাকে সে বধ করেছে। দু’জন নির্ভরযোগ্য ব্যক্তি এর ফয়সালা করবে-বিনিময়ের জন্তুটি উৎসর্গ হিসেবে কাবায় পৌছাতে হবে। অথবা তার উপর কাফফারা ওয়াজেব-কয়েকজন দরিদ্রকে খাওয়ানো অথবা তার সমপরিমাণ রোযা রাখতে যাতে সে স্বীয় কৃতকর্মের প্রতিফল আস্বাদন করে। যা হয়ে গেছে, তা আল্লাহ মাফ করেছেন। যে পুনরায় এ কান্ড করবে, আল্লাহ তার কাছ থেকে প্রতিশোধ নিবেন। আল্লাহ পরাক্রান্ত, প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণে সক্ষম। O ye who believe! Kill not game while in the sacred precincts or in pilgrim garb. If any of you doth so intentionally, the compensation is an offering, brought to the Ka'ba, of a domestic animal equivalent to the one he killed, as adjudged by two just men among you; or by way of atonement, the feeding of the indigent; or its equivalent in fasts: that he may taste of the penalty of his deed. Allah forgives what is past: for repetition Allah will exact from him the penalty. For Allah is Exalted, and Lord of Retribution.	(আল মায়িদাহ: আয়াতঃ ৯৫)
8	আপনার কাছে তাদের ইতিবৃত্তান্ত সঠিকভাবে বর্ণনা করছি। তারা ছিল কয়েকজন যুবক। তারা তাদের পালনকর্তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছিল এবং আমি তাদের সৎপথে চলার শক্তি বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছিলাম। We relate to thee their story in truth: they were youths who believed in their Lord, and We advanced them in guidance:	(কাহফ: আয়াতঃ ১৩)
9	নৌকাটির ব্যাপারে-সেটি ছিল কয়েকজন দরিদ্র ব্যক্তির। তারা সমুদ্রে জীবিকা অন্বেষন করত। আমি ইচ্ছা করলাম যে, সেটিকে ক্রটিযুক্ত করে দেই। তাদের অপরদিকে ছিল এক বাদশাহ। সে বলপ্রয়োগে প্রত্যেকটি নৌকা ছিনিয়ে নিত। "As for the boat, it belonged to certain men in dire want: they plied on the water: I but wished to render it unserviceable, for there was after them a certain king who seized on every boat by force.	(কাহফ: আয়াতঃ ৭৯)
10	যখন এক শিকলে কয়েকজন বাঁধা অবস্থায় জাহান্নামের কোন সংকীর্ণ স্থানে নিক্ষেপ করা হবে, তখন সেখানে তারা মৃত্যুকে ডাকবে। And when they are cast, bound together into a constricted place therein, they will plead for destruction there and then!	(আল-ফুরকান: আয়াতঃ ১৩)
11	কারুন ছিল মূসার সম্প্রদায়ভুক্ত। অতঃপর সে তাদের প্রতি দুষ্টামি করতে আরম্ভ করল। আমি তাকে এত ধন-ভান্ডার দান করেছিলাম যার চাবি বহন করা কয়েকজন শক্তিশালী লোকের পক্ষে কষ্টসাধ্য ছিল। যখন তার সম্প্রদায় তাকে বলল, দম্ভ করো না, আল্লাহ দাম্ভিকদেরকে ভালবাসেন না। Qarun was doubtless, of the people of Moses; but he acted insolently towards them: such were the treasures We had bestowed on him that their very keys would have been a burden to a body of strong men, behold, his people said to him: "Exult not, for Allah loveth not those who exult (in riches).	(আল কাসাস: আয়াতঃ ৭৬)
