আহলে কিতাবদের অনেকেই প্রতিহিংসাবশতঃ চায় যে, মুসলমান হওয়ার পর তোমাদেরকে কোন রকমে কাফের বানিয়ে দেয়। তাদের কাছে সত্য প্রকাশিত হওয়ার পর (তারা এটা চায়)। যাক তোমরা আল্লাহর নির্দেশ আসা পর্যন্ত তাদের ক্ষমা কর এবং উপেক্ষা কর। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর ক্ষমতাবান।
Quite a number of the People of the Book wish they could Turn you (people) back to infidelity after ye have believed, from selfish envy, after the Truth hath become Manifest unto them: But forgive and overlook, Till Allah accomplish His purpose; for Allah Hath power over all things. |

তুমি কি জান না যে আল্লাহর নিমিত্তেই নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের আধিপত্য। তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা শাস্তি দেন এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা ক্ষমা করেন। আল্লাহ সবকিছুর উপর ক্ষমতাবান।
Knowest thou not that to Allah (alone) belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth? He punisheth whom He pleaseth, and He forgiveth whom He pleaseth: and Allah hath power over all things. |

নভোমন্ডল, ভূমন্ডল এবং এতদুভয়ে অবস্থিত সবকিছুর আধিপত্য আল্লাহরই। তিনি সবকিছুর উপর ক্ষমতাবান।
To Allah doth belong the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is therein, and it is He Who hath power over all things. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:

আর যদি আল্লাহ তোমাকে কোন কষ্ট দেন, তবে তিনি ব্যতীত তা অপসারণকারী কেউ নেই। পক্ষান্তরে যদি তোমার মঙ্গল করেন, তবে তিনি সবকিছুর উপর ক্ষমতাবান।
"If Allah touch thee with affliction, none can remove it but He; if He touch thee with happiness, He hath power over all things. |
(আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৭) |

আল্লাহর সান্নিধ্যেই তোমাদেরকে ফিরে যেতে হবে। আর তিনি সব কিছুর উপর ক্ষমতাবান।
'To Allah is your return, and He hath power over all things.'" |

তোমরা ঐ মহিলার মত হয়ো না, যে পরিশ্রমের পর কাটা সূতা টুকরো টুকরো করে ছিড়ে ফেলে, তোমরা নিজেদের কসমসমূহকে পারস্পরিক প্রবঞ্চনার বাহানা রূপে গ্রহণ কর এজন্যে যে, অন্য দল অপেক্ষা এক দল অধিক ক্ষমতাবান হয়ে যায়। এতদ্বারা তো আল্লাহ শুধু তোমাদের পরীক্ষা করেন। আল্লাহ অবশ্যই কিয়ামতের দিন প্রকাশ করে দেবেন, যে বিষয়ে তোমরা কলহ করতে।
And be not like a woman who breaks into untwisted strands the yarn which she has spun, after it has become strong. Nor take your oaths to practise deception between yourselves, lest one party should be more numerous than another: for Allah will test you by this; and on the Day of Judgment He will certainly make clear to you (the truth of) that wherein ye disagree. |

আয়াতঃ ৯২) |

এগুলো এ কারণে যে, আল্লাহ সত্য এবং তিনি মৃতকে জীবিত করেন এবং তিনি সবকিছুর উপর ক্ষমতাবান।
This is so, because Allah is the Reality: it is He Who gives life to the dead, and it is He Who has power over all things. |
(হাজ্জ্ব:

তারা কি আল্লাহ ব্যতীত অপরকে অভিভাবক স্থির করেছে? পরন্তু আল্লাহই তো একমাত্র অভিভাবক। তিনি মৃতদেরকে জীবিত করেন। তিনি সর্ববিষয়ে ক্ষমতাবান।
What! Have they taken (for worship) protectors besides Him? But it is Allah,- He is the Protector, and it is He Who gives life to the dead: It is He Who has power over all things, |

আর ও একটি বিজয় রয়েছে যা এখনও তোমাদের অধিকারে আসেনি, আল্লাহ তা বেষ্টন করে আছেন। আল্লাহ সর্ববিষয়ে ক্ষমতাবান।
And other gains (there are), which are not within your power, but which Allah has compassed: and Allah has power over all things. |

সে কি মনে করে যে, তার উপর কেউ ক্ষমতাবান হবে না ?
Thinketh he, that none hath power over him? |
