অতঃপর তোমরাই পরস্পর খুনাখুনি করছ এবং তোমাদেরই একদলকে তাদের দেশ থেকে বহিস্কার করছ। তাদের বিরুদ্ধে পাপ ও অন্যায়ের মাধ্যমে আক্রমণ করছ। আর যদি তারাই কারও বন্দী হয়ে তোমাদের কাছে আসে, তবে বিনিময় নিয়ে তাদের মুক্ত করছ। অথচ তাদের বহিস্কার করাও তোমাদের জন্য অবৈধ। তবে কি তোমরা গ্রন্থের কিয়দংশ বিশ্বাস কর এবং কিয়দংশ অবিশ্বাস কর? যারা এরূপ করে পার্থিব জীবনে দূগর্তি ছাড়া তাদের আর কোনই পথ নেই। কিয়ামতের দিন তাদের কঠোরতম শাস্তির দিকে পৌঁছে দেয়া হবে। আল্লাহ তোমাদের কাজ-কর্ম সম্পর্কে বে-খবর নন।
After this it is ye, the same people, who slay among yourselves, and banish a party of you from their homes; assist (Their enemies) against them, in guilt and rancour; and if they come to you as captives, ye ransom them, though it was not lawful for you to banish them. Then is it only a part of the Book that ye believe in, and do ye reject the rest? but what is the reward for those among you who behave like this but disgrace in this life?- and on the Day of Judgment they shall be consigned to the most grievous penalty. For Allah is not unmindful of what ye do. |

যখন ইব্রাহীম বললেন, পরওয়ারদেগার! এ স্থানকে তুমি শান্তিধান কর এবং এর অধিবাসীদের মধ্যে যারা অল্লাহ ও কিয়ামতে বিশ্বাস করে, তাদেরকে ফলের দ্বারা রিযিক দান কর। বললেনঃ যারা অবিশ্বাস করে, আমি তাদেরও কিছুদিন ফায়দা ভোগ করার সুযোগ দেব, অতঃপর তাদেরকে বলপ্রয়োগে দোযখের আযাবে ঠেলে দেবো; সেটা নিকৃষ্ট বাসস্থান।
And remember Abraham said: "My Lord, make this a City of Peace, and feed its people with fruits,-such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day." He said: "(Yea), and such as reject Faith,-for a while will I grant them their pleasure, but will soon drive them to the torment of Fire,- an evil destination (indeed)!" |

যারা সুদ খায়, তারা কিয়ামতে দন্ডায়মান হবে, যেভাবে দন্ডায়মান হয় ঐ ব্যক্তি, যাকে শয়তান আসর করে মোহাবিষ্ট করে দেয়। তাদের এ অবস্থার কারণ এই যে, তারা বলেছেঃ ক্রয়-বিক্রয় ও তো সুদ নেয়ারই মত! অথচ আল্লা’হ তা’আলা ক্রয়-বিক্রয় বৈধ করেছেন এবং সুদ হারাম করেছেন। অতঃপর যার কাছে তার পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে উপদেশ এসেছে এবং সে বিরত হয়েছে, পূর্বে যা হয়ে গেছে, তা তার। তার ব্যাপার আল্লাহর উপর নির্ভরশীল। আর যারা পুনরায় সুদ নেয়, তারাই দোযখে যাবে। তারা সেখানে চিরকাল অবস্থান করবে।
Those who devour usury will not stand except as stand one whom the Evil one by his touch Hath driven to madness. That is because they say: "Trade is like usury," but Allah hath permitted trade and forbidden usury. Those who after receiving direction from their Lord, desist, shall be pardoned for the past; their case is for Allah (to judge); but those who repeat (The offence) are companions of the Fire: They will abide therein (for ever). |

আর স্মরণ কর, যখন আল্লাহ বলবেন, হে ঈসা! আমি তোমাকে নিয়ে নেবো এবং তোমাকে নিজের দিকে তুলে নিবো-কাফেরদের থেকে তোমাকে পবিত্র করে দেবো। আর যারা তোমার অনুগত রয়েছে তাদেরকে কিয়ামতের দিন পর্যন্ত যারা অস্বীকৃতি জ্ঞাপন করে তাদের উপর জয়ী করে রাখবো। বস্তুতঃ তোমাদের সবাইকে আমার কাছেই ফিরে আসতে হবে। তখন যে বিষয়ে তোমরা বিবাদ করতে, আমি তোমাদের মধ্যে তার ফয়সালা করে দেবো।
Behold! Allah said: "O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection: Then shall ye all return unto me, and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye dispute. |

আর কোন বিষয় গোপন করে রাখা নবীর কাজ নয়। আর যে লোক গোপন করবে সে কিয়ামতের দিন সেই গোপন বস্তু নিয়ে আসবে। অতঃপর পরিপূর্ণভাবে পাবে প্রত্যেকে, যা সে অর্জন করেছে। আর তাদের প্রতি কোন অন্যায় করা হবে না।
No prophet could (ever) be false to his trust. If any person is so false, He shall, on the Day of Judgment, restore what he misappropriated; then shall every soul receive its due,- whatever it earned,- and none shall be dealt with unjustly. |

আল্লাহ তাদেরকে নিজের অনুগ্রহে যা দান করেছেন তাতে যারা কৃপণতা করে এই কার্পন্য তাদের জন্য মঙ্গলকর হবে বলে তারা যেন ধারণা না করে। বরং এটা তাদের পক্ষে একান্তই ক্ষতিকর প্রতিপন্ন হবে। যাতে তারা কার্পন্য করে সে সমস্ত ধন-সম্পদকে কিয়ামতের দিন তাদের গলায় বেড়ী বানিয়ে পরানো হবে। আর আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন আসমান ও যমীনের পরম সত্ত্বাধিকারী। আর যা কিছু তোমরা কর; আল্লাহ সে সম্পর্কে জানেন।
And let not those who covetously withhold of the gifts which Allah Hath given them of His Grace, think that it is good for them: Nay, it will be the worse for them: soon shall the things which they covetously withheld be tied to their necks Like a twisted collar, on the Day of Judgment. To Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do. |

প্রত্যেক প্রাণীকে আস্বাদন করতে হবে মৃত্যু। আর তোমরা কিয়ামতের দিন পরিপূর্ণ বদলা প্রাপ্ত হবে। তারপর যাকে দোযখ থেকে দূরে রাখা হবে এবং জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করানো হবে, তার কার্যসিদ্ধি ঘটবে। আর পার্থিব জীবন ধোঁকা ছাড়া অন্য কোন সম্পদ নয়।
Every soul shall have a taste of death: And only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense. Only he who is saved far from the Fire and admitted to the Garden will have attained the object (of Life): For the life of this world is but goods and chattels of deception. |

হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! আমাদেরকে দাও, যা তুমি ওয়াদা করেছ তোমার রসূলগণের মাধ্যমে এবং কিয়ামতের দিন আমাদিগকে তুমি অপমানিত করো না। নিশ্চয় তুমি ওয়াদা খেলাফ করো না।
"Our Lord! Grant us what Thou didst promise unto us through Thine messengers, and save us from shame on the Day of Judgment: For Thou never breakest Thy promise." |
(আল ইমরান:

যারা কাফের, যদি তাদের কাছে পৃথিবীর সমুদয় সম্পদ এবং তৎসহ আরও তদনুরূপ সম্পদ থাকে আর এগুলো বিনিময়ে দিয়ে কিয়ামতের শাস্তি থেকে পরিত্রান পেতে চায়, তবুও তাদের কাছ থেকে তা কবুল করা হবে না। তাদের জন্যে যন্ত্রনাদায়ক শাস্তি রয়েছে।
As to those who reject Faith,- if they had everything on earth, and twice repeated, to give as ransom for the penalty of the Day of Judgment, it would never be accepted of them, theirs would be a grievous penalty. |

আয়াতঃ ৩৬) |
| 10 |
নিশ্চয় যারা মুসলমান, যারা ইহুদী, ছাবেয়ী বা খ্রীষ্টান, তাদের মধ্যে যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে আল্লাহর প্রতি, কিয়ামতের প্রতি এবং সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে, তাদের কোন ভয় নেই এবং তারা দুঃখিত হবে না।
Those who believe (in the Qur'an), those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Sabians and the Christians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness,- on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. |

আয়াতঃ ৬৯) |

আপনি বলুনঃ আল্লাহর সাজ-সজ্জাকে, যা তিনি বান্দাদের জন্যে সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং পবিত্র খাদ্রবস্তুসমূহকে কে হারাম করেছে? আপনি বলুনঃ এসব নেয়ামত আসলে পার্থিব জীবনে মুমিনদের জন্যে এবং কিয়ামতের দিন খাঁটিভাবে তাদেরই জন্যে। এমনিভাবে আমি আয়াতসমূহ বিস্তারিত বর্ণনা করি তাদের জন্যে যারা বুঝে।
Say: Who hath forbidden the beautiful (gifts) of Allah, which He hath produced for His servants, and the things, clean and pure, (which He hath provided) for sustenance? Say: They are, in the life of this world, for those who believe, (and) purely for them on the Day of Judgment. Thus do We explain the signs in detail for those who understand. |

আয়াতঃ ৩২) |
| 12 |
আর এ জগতেও তাদের পেছনে লানত রয়েছে এবং কিয়ামতের দিনেও; অত্যন্ত জঘন্য প্রতিফল, যা তারা পেয়েছে।
And they are followed by a curse in this (life) and on the Day of Judgment: and woeful is the gift which shall be given (unto them)! |

নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের গোপন রহস্য আল্লাহর কাছেই রয়েছে। কিয়ামতের ব্যাপারটি তো এমন, যেমন চোখের পলক অথবা তার চাইতেও নিকটবর্তী। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর শক্তিমান।
To Allah belongeth the Mystery of the heavens and the earth. And the Decision of the Hour (of Judgment) is as the twingkling of an eye, or even quicker: for Allah hath power over all things. |

| 14 |
তোমরা ঐ মহিলার মত হয়ো না, যে পরিশ্রমের পর কাটা সূতা টুকরো টুকরো করে ছিড়ে ফেলে, তোমরা নিজেদের কসমসমূহকে পারস্পরিক প্রবঞ্চনার বাহানা রূপে গ্রহণ কর এজন্যে যে, অন্য দল অপেক্ষা এক দল অধিক ক্ষমতাবান হয়ে যায়। এতদ্বারা তো আল্লাহ শুধু তোমাদের পরীক্ষা করেন। আল্লাহ অবশ্যই কিয়ামতের দিন প্রকাশ করে দেবেন, যে বিষয়ে তোমরা কলহ করতে।
And be not like a woman who breaks into untwisted strands the yarn which she has spun, after it has become strong. Nor take your oaths to practise deception between yourselves, lest one party should be more numerous than another: for Allah will test you by this; and on the Day of Judgment He will certainly make clear to you (the truth of) that wherein ye disagree. |

আয়াতঃ ৯২) |
| 15 |
শনিবার দিন পালন যে, নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছিল, তা তাদের জন্যেই যারা এতে মতবিরোধ করেছিল। আপনার পালনকর্তা কিয়ামতের দিন তাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা করবেন যে বিষয়ে তারা মতবিরোধ করত।
The Sabbath was only made (strict) for those who disagreed (as to its observance); But Allah will judge between them on the Day of Judgment, as to their differences. |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ১২৪) |
| 16 |
তোমরা যে বিষয়ে মতবিরোধ করছ, আল্লাহ কিয়ামতের দিন সেই বিষয়ে তোমাদের মধ্যে ফায়সালা করবেন।
"Allah will judge between you on the Day of Judgment concerning the matters in which ye differ." |

| 17 |
যখন কিয়ামতের ঘটনা ঘটবে,
When the Event inevitable cometh to pass, |

| 18 |
তোমাদের স্বজন-পরিজন ও সন্তান-সন্ততি কিয়ামতের দিন কোন উপকারে আসবে না। তিনি তোমাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা করবেন। তোমরা যা কর, আল্লাহ তা দেখেন।
Of no profit to you will be your relatives and your children on the Day of Judgment: He will judge between you: for Allah sees well all that ye do. |
