নিশ্চিতই যারা কাফের হয়েছে তাদেরকে আপনি ভয় প্রদর্শন করুন আর নাই করুন তাতে কিছুই আসে যায় না, তারা ঈমান আনবে না।
As to those who reject Faith, it is the same to them whether thou warn them or do not warn them; they will not believe. |

আর তাদের উদাহরণ সেসব লোকের মত যারা দুর্যোগপূর্ণ ঝড়ো রাতে পথ চলে, যাতে থাকে আঁধার, গর্জন ও বিদ্যুৎচমক। মৃত্যুর ভয়ে গর্জনের সময় কানে আঙ্গুল দিয়ে রক্ষা পেতে চায়। অথচ সমস্ত কাফেরই আল্লাহ কর্তৃক পরিবেষ্ঠিত।
Or (another similitude) is that of a rain-laden cloud from the sky: In it are zones of darkness, and thunder and lightning: They press their fingers in their ears to keep out the stunning thunder-clap, the while they are in terror of death. But Allah is ever round the rejecters of Faith! |

আর যদি তা না পার-অবশ্য তা তোমরা কখনও পারবে না, তাহলে সে দোযখের আগুন থেকে রক্ষা পাওয়ার চেষ্টা কর, যার জ্বালানী হবে মানুষ ও পাথর। যা প্রস্তুত করা হয়েছে কাফেরদের জন্য।
But if ye cannot- and of a surety ye cannot- then fear the Fire whose fuel is men and stones,- which is prepared for those who reject Faith. |

আল্লাহ পাক নিঃসন্দেহে মশা বা তদুর্ধ্ব বস্তু দ্বারা উপমা পেশ করতে লজ্জাবোধ করেন না। বস্তুতঃ যারা মুমিন তারা নিশ্চিতভাবে বিশ্বাস করে যে, তাদের পালনকর্তা কর্তৃক উপস্থাপিত এ উপমা সম্পূর্ণ নির্ভূল ও সঠিক। আর যারা কাফের তারা বলে, এরূপ উপমা উপস্থাপনে আল্লাহর মতলবই বা কি ছিল। এ দ্বারা আল্লাহ তা’আলা অনেককে বিপথগামী করেন, আবার অনেককে সঠিক পথও প্রদর্শন করেন। তিনি অনুরূপ উপমা দ্বারা অসৎ ব্যক্তিবর্গ ভিন্ন কাকেও বিপথগামী করেন না।
Allah disdains not to use the similitude of things, lowest as well as highest. Those who believe know that it is truth from their Lord; but those who reject Faith say: "What means Allah by this similitude?" By it He causes many to stray, and many He leads into the right path; but He causes not to stray, except those who forsake (the path),- |

এবং যখন আমি হযরত আদম (আঃ)-কে সেজদা করার জন্য ফেরেশতাগণকে নির্দেশ দিলাম, তখনই ইবলীস ব্যতীত সবাই সিজদা করলো। সে (নির্দেশ) পালন করতে অস্বীকার করল এবং অহংকার প্রদর্শন করল। ফলে সে কাফেরদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত হয়ে গেল।
And behold, We said to the angels: "Bow down to Adam" and they bowed down. Not so Iblis: he refused and was haughty: He was of those who reject Faith. |

আয়াতঃ ৩৪) |

যার বিনিময়ে তারা নিজেদের বিক্রি করেছে, তা খুবই মন্দ; যেহেতু তারা আল্লাহ যা নযিল করেছেন, তা অস্বীকার করেছে এই হঠকারিতার দরুন যে, আল্লাহ স্বীয় বান্দাদের মধ্যে যার প্রতি ইচ্ছা অনুগ্রহ নাযিল করেন। অতএব, তারা ক্রোধের উপর ক্রোধ অর্জন করেছে। আর কাফেরদের জন্য রয়েছে অপমানজনক শাস্তি।
Miserable is the price for which they have sold their souls, in that they deny (the revelation) which Allah has sent down, in insolent envy that Allah of His Grace should send it to any of His servants He pleases: Thus have they drawn on themselves Wrath upon Wrath. And humiliating is the punishment of those who reject Faith. |

যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহ তাঁর ফেরেশতা ও রসূলগণ এবং জিবরাঈল ও মিকাঈলের শত্রু হয়, নিশ্চিতই আল্লাহ সেসব কাফেরের শত্রু।
Whoever is an enemy to Allah and His angels and messengers, to Gabriel and Michael,- Lo! Allah is an enemy to those who reject Faith. |

তারা ঐ শাস্ত্রের অনুসরণ করল, যা সুলায়মানের রাজত্ব কালে শয়তানরা আবৃত্তি করত। সুলায়মান কুফর করেনি; শয়তানরাই কুফর করেছিল। তারা মানুষকে জাদুবিদ্যা এবং বাবেল শহরে হারুত ও মারুত দুই ফেরেশতার প্রতি যা অবতীর্ণ হয়েছিল, তা শিক্ষা দিত। তারা উভয়ই একথা না বলে কাউকে শিক্ষা দিত না যে, আমরা পরীক্ষার জন্য; কাজেই তুমি কাফের হয়ো না। অতঃপর তারা তাদের কাছ থেকে এমন জাদু শিখত, যদ্দ্বারা স্বামী ও স্ত্রীর মধ্যে বিচ্ছেদ ঘটে। তারা আল্লাহর আদেশ ছাড়া তদ্দ্বারা কারও অনিষ্ট করতে পারত না। যা তাদের ক্ষতি করে এবং উপকার না করে, তারা তাই শিখে। তারা ভালরূপে জানে যে, যে কেউ জাদু অবলম্বন করে, তার জন্য পরকালে কোন অংশ নেই। যার বিনিময়ে তারা আত্নবিক্রয় করেছে, তা খুবই মন্দ যদি তারা জানত।
They followed what the evil ones gave out (falsely) against the power of Solomon: the blasphemers Were, not Solomon, but the evil ones, teaching men Magic, and such things as came down at babylon to the angels Harut and Marut. But neither of these taught anyone (Such things) without saying: "We are only for trial; so do not blaspheme." They learned from them the means to sow discord between man and wife. But they could not thus harm anyone except by Allah's permission. And they learned what harmed them, not what profited them. And they knew that the buyers of (magic) would have no share in the happiness of the Hereafter. And vile was the price for which they did sell their souls, if they but knew! |

হে মুমিন গণ, তোমরা ‘রায়িনা’ বলো না-‘উনযুরনা’ বল এবং শুনতে থাক। আর কাফেরদের জন্যে রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক শাস্তি।
O ye of Faith! Say not (to the Messenger) words of ambiguous import, but words of respect; and hearken (to him): To those without Faith is a grievous punishment. |

আহলে-কিতাব ও মুশরিকদের মধ্যে যারা কাফের, তাদের মনঃপুত নয় যে, তোমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের প্রতি কোন কল্যাণ অবতীর্ণ হোক। আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা বিশেষ ভাবে স্বীয় অনুগ্রহ দান করেন। আল্লাহ মহান অনুগ্রহদাতা।
It is never the wish of those without Faith among the People of the Book, nor of the Pagans, that anything good should come down to you from your Lord. But Allah will choose for His special Mercy whom He will - for Allah is Lord of grace abounding. |

আহলে কিতাবদের অনেকেই প্রতিহিংসাবশতঃ চায় যে, মুসলমান হওয়ার পর তোমাদেরকে কোন রকমে কাফের বানিয়ে দেয়। তাদের কাছে সত্য প্রকাশিত হওয়ার পর (তারা এটা চায়)। যাক তোমরা আল্লাহর নির্দেশ আসা পর্যন্ত তাদের ক্ষমা কর এবং উপেক্ষা কর। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর ক্ষমতাবান।
Quite a number of the People of the Book wish they could Turn you (people) back to infidelity after ye have believed, from selfish envy, after the Truth hath become Manifest unto them: But forgive and overlook, Till Allah accomplish His purpose; for Allah Hath power over all things. |

নিশ্চয় যারা কুফরী করে এবং কাফের অবস্থায়ই মৃত্যুবরণ করে, সে সমস্ত লোকের প্রতি আল্লাহর ফেরেশতাগনের এবং সমগ্র মানুষের লা’নত।
Those who reject Faith, and die rejecting,- on them is Allah's curse, and the curse of angels, and of all mankind; |

বস্তুতঃ এহেন কাফেরদের উদাহরণ এমন, যেন কেউ এমন কোন জীবকে আহবান করছে যা কোন কিছুই শোনে না, হাঁক-ডাক আর চিৎকার ছাড়া বধির মুক, এবং অন্ধ। সুতরাং তারা কিছুই বোঝে না।
The parable of those who reject Faith is as if one were to shout Like a goat-herd, to things that listen to nothing but calls and cries: Deaf, dumb, and blind, they are void of wisdom. |

আর তাদেরকে হত্যাকর যেখানে পাও সেখানেই এবং তাদেরকে বের করে দাও সেখান থেকে যেখান থেকে তারা বের করেছে তোমাদেরকে। বস্তুতঃ ফেতনা ফ্যাসাদ বা দাঙ্গা-হাঙ্গামা সৃষ্টি করা হত্যার চেয়েও কঠিন অপরাধ। আর তাদের সাথে লড়াই করো না মসজিদুল হারামের নিকটে যতক্ষণ না তারা তোমাদের সাথে সেখানে লড়াই করে। অবশ্য যদি তারা নিজেরাই তোমাদের সাথে লড়াই করে। তাহলে তাদেরকে হত্যা কর। এই হল কাফেরদের শাস্তি।
And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have Turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred Mosque, unless they (first) fight you there; but if they fight you, slay them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith. |

পার্থিব জীবনের উপর কাফেরদিগকে উম্মত্ত করে দেয়া হয়েছে। আর তারা ঈমানদারদের প্রতি লক্ষ্য করে হাসাহাসি করে। পক্ষান্তরে যারা পরহেযগার তারা সেই কাফেরদের তুলনায় কেয়ামতের দিন অত্যন্ত উচ্চমর্যাদায় থাকবে। আর আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা সীমাহীন রুযী দান করেন।
The life of this world is alluring to those who reject faith, and they scoff at those who believe. But the righteous will be above them on the Day of Resurrection; for Allah bestows His abundance without measure on whom He will. |

আয়াতঃ ২১২) |
| 16 |
সম্মানিত মাস সম্পর্কে তোমার কাছে জিজ্ঞেস করে যে, তাতে যুদ্ধ করা কেমন? বলে দাও এতে যুদ্ধ করা ভীষণ বড় পাপ। আর আল্লাহর পথে প্রতিবন্দ্বকতা সৃষ্টি করা এবং কুফরী করা, মসজিদে-হারামের পথে বাধা দেয়া এবং সেখানকার অধিবাসীদেরকে বহিস্কার করা, আল্লাহর নিকট তার চেয়েও বড় পাপ। আর ধর্মের ব্যাপারে ফেতনা সৃষ্টি করা নরহত্যা অপেক্ষাও মহা পাপ। বস্তুতঃ তারা তো সর্বদাই তোমাদের সাথে যুদ্ধ করতে থাকবে, যাতে করে তোমাদিগকে দ্বীন থেকে ফিরিয়ে দিতে পারে যদি সম্ভব হয়। তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা নিজের দ্বীন থেকে ফিরে দাঁড়াবে এবং কাফের অবস্থায় মৃত্যুবরণ করবে, দুনিয়া ও আখেরাতে তাদের যাবতীয় আমল বিনষ্ট হয়ে যাবে। আর তারাই হলো দোযখবাসী। তাতে তারা চিরকাল বাস করবে।
They ask thee concerning fighting in the Prohibited Month. Say: "Fighting therein is a grave (offence); but graver is it in the sight of Allah to prevent access to the path of Allah, to deny Him, to prevent access to the Sacred Mosque, and drive out its members." Tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter. Nor will they cease fighting you until they turn you back from your faith if they can. And if any of you Turn back from their faith and die in unbelief, their works will bear no fruit in this life and in the Hereafter; they will be companions of the Fire and will abide therein. |

আর যখন তালূত ও তার সেনাবাহিনী শত্রুর সম্মুখীন হল, তখন বলল, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আমাদের মনে ধৈর্য্য সৃষ্টি করে দাও এবং আমাদেরকে দৃঢ়পদ রাখ-আর আমাদের সাহায্য কর সে কাফের জাতির বিরুদ্ধে।
When they advanced to meet Goliath and his forces, they prayed: "Our Lord! Pour out constancy on us and make our steps firm: Help us against those that reject faith." |

আয়াতঃ ২৫০) |

এই রসূলগণ-আমি তাদের কাউকে কারো উপর মর্যাদা দিয়েছি। তাদের মধ্যে কেউ তো হলো তারা যার সাথে আল্লাহ কথা বলেছেন, আর কারও মর্যাদা উচ্চতর করেছেন এবং আমি মরিয়ম তনয় ঈসাকে প্রকৃষ্ট মু’জেযা দান করেছি এবং তাকে শক্তি দান করেছি ‘রুহূল কুদ্দুস’ অর্থৎ জিবরাঈলের মাধ্যমে। আর আল্লাহ যদি ইচ্ছা করতেন, তাহলে পরিস্কার নির্দেশ এসে যাবার পর পয়গম্বরদের পেছনে যারা ছিল তারা লড়াই করতো না। কিন্তু তাদের মধ্যে মতবিরোধ সৃষ্টি হয়ে গেছে। অতঃপর তাদের কেউ তো ঈমান এনেছে, আর কেউ হয়েছে কাফের। আর আল্লাহ যদি ইচ্ছা করতেন, তাহলে তারা পরস্পর লড়াই করতো, কিন্তু আল্লাহ তাই করেন, যা তিনি ইচ্ছা করেন।
Those messengers We endowed with gifts, some above others: To one of them Allah spoke; others He raised to degrees (of honour); to Jesus the son of Mary We gave clear (Signs), and strengthened him with the holy spirit. If Allah had so willed, succeeding generations would not have fought among each other, after clear (Signs) had come to them, but they (chose) to wrangle, some believing and others rejecting. If Allah had so willed, they would not have fought each other; but Allah Fulfilleth His plan. |

আয়াতঃ ২৫৩) |

হে ঈমানদারগণ! আমি তোমাদেরকে যে রুযী দিয়েছি, সেদিন আসার পূর্বেই তোমরা তা থেকে ব্যয় কর, যাতে না আছে বেচা-কেনা, না আছে সুপারিশ কিংবা বন্ধুত্ব। আর কাফেররাই হলো প্রকৃত যালেম।
O ye who believe! Spend out of (the bounties) We have provided for you, before the Day comes when no bargaining (Will avail), nor friendship nor intercession. Those who reject Faith they are the wrong-doers. |

তুমি কি সে লোককে দেখনি, যে পালনকর্তার ব্যাপারে বাদানুবাদ করেছিল ইব্রাহীমের সাথে এ কারণে যে, আল্লাহ সে ব্যাক্তিকে রাজ্য দান করেছিলেন? ইব্রাহীম যখন বললেন, আমার পালনকর্তা হলেন তিনি, যিনি জীবন দান করেন এবং মৃত্যু ঘটান। সে বলল, আমি জীবন দান করি এবং মৃত্যু ঘটিয়ে থাকি। ইব্রাহীম বললেন, নিশ্চয়ই তিনি সুর্যকে উদিত করেন পূর্ব দিক থেকে এবার তুমি তাকে পশ্চিম দিক থেকে উদিত কর। তখন সে কাফের হতভম্ব হয়ে গেল। আর আল্লাহ সীমালংঘণকারী সম্প্রদায়কে সরল পথ প্রদর্শন করেন না।
Hast thou not Turned thy vision to one who disputed with Abraham About his Lord, because Allah had granted him power? Abraham said: "My Lord is He Who Giveth life and death." He said: "I give life and death". Said Abraham: "But it is Allah that causeth the sun to rise from the east: Do thou then cause him to rise from the West." Thus was he confounded who (in arrogance) rejected faith. Nor doth Allah Give guidance to a people unjust. |

আয়াতঃ ২৫৮) |

হে ঈমানদারগণ!তোমরা অনুগ্রহের কথা প্রকাশ করে এবং কষ্ট দিয়ে নিজেদের দান খয়রাত বরবাদ করো না সে ব্যক্তির মত যে নিজের ধন-সম্পদ লোক দেখানোর উদ্দেশ্যে ব্যয় করে এবং আল্লাহ ও পরকালের প্রতি বিশ্বাস রাখে না। অতএব, এ ব্যাক্তির দৃষ্টান্ত একটি মসৃণ পাথরের মত যার উপর কিছু মাটি পড়েছিল। অতঃপর এর উপর প্রবল বৃষ্টি বর্ষিত হলো, অনন্তর তাকে সম্পূর্ণ পরিষ্কার করে দিল। তারা ঐ বস্তুর কোন সওয়াব পায় না, যা তারা উপার্জন করেছে। আল্লাহ কাফের সম্প্রদায়কে পথ প্রদর্শন করেন না।
O ye who believe! cancel not your charity by reminders of your generosity or by injury,- like those who spend their substance to be seen of men, but believe neither in Allah nor in the Last Day. They are in parable like a hard, barren rock, on which is a little soil: on it falls heavy rain, which leaves it (Just) a bare stone. They will be able to do nothing with aught they have earned. And Allah guideth not those who reject faith. |

আয়াতঃ ২৬৪) |

আল্লাহ কাউকে তার সাধ্যাতীত কোন কাজের ভার দেন না, সে তাই পায় যা সে উপার্জন করে এবং তাই তার উপর বর্তায় যা সে করে। হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, যদি আমরা ভুলে যাই কিংবা ভুল করি, তবে আমাদেরকে অপরাধী করো না। হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! এবং আমাদের উপর এমন দায়িত্ব অর্পণ করো না, যেমন আমাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের উপর অর্পণ করেছ, হে আমাদের প্রভূ! এবং আমাদের দ্বারা ঐ বোঝা বহন করিও না, যা বহন করার শক্তি আমাদের নাই। আমাদের পাপ মোচন কর। আমাদেরকে ক্ষমা কর এবং আমাদের প্রতি দয়া কর। তুমিই আমাদের প্রভু। সুতরাং কাফের সম্প্রদায়ের বিরুদ্ধে আমাদের কে সাহায্যে কর।
On no soul doth Allah Place a burden greater than it can bear. It gets every good that it earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns. (Pray:) "Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; our Lord! Lay not on us a burden Like that which Thou didst lay on those before us; Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins, and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. Thou art our Protector; Help us against those who stand against faith." |
(আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৮৬) |
| 23 |
কাফেরদিগকে বলে দিন, খুব শিগগীরই তোমরা পরাভূত হয়ে দোযখের দিকে হাঁকিয়ে নীত হবে-সেটা কতই না নিকৃষ্টতম অবস্থান।
Say to those who reject Faith: "Soon will ye be vanquished and gathered together to Hell,-an evil bed indeed (to lie on)! |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১২) |
| 24 |
নিশ্চয়ই দুটো দলের মোকাবিলার মধ্যে তোমাদের জন্য নিদর্শন ছিল। একটি দল আল্লাহর রাহে যুদ্ধ করে। আর অপর দল ছিল কাফেরদের এরা স্বচক্ষে তাদেরকে দ্বিগুন দেখছিল। আর আল্লাহ যাকে নিজের সাহায্যের মাধ্যমে শক্তি দান করেন। এরই মধ্যে শিক্ষনীয় রয়েছে দৃষ্টি সম্পন্নদের জন্য।
"There has already been for you a Sign in the two armies that met (in combat): One was fighting in the cause of Allah, the other resisting Allah; these saw with their own eyes Twice their number. But Allah doth support with His aid whom He pleaseth. In this is a warning for such as have eyes to see." |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৩) |
| 25 |
মুমিনগন যেন অন্য মুমিনকে ছেড়ে কেন কাফেরকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ না করে। যারা এরূপ করবে আল্লাহর সাথে তাদের কেন সম্পর্ক থাকবে না। তবে যদি তোমরা তাদের পক্ষ থেকে কোন অনিষ্টের আশঙ্কা কর, তবে তাদের সাথে সাবধানতার সাথে থাকবে আল্লাহ তা’আলা তাঁর সম্পর্কে তোমাদের সতর্ক করেছেন। এবং সবাই কে তাঁর কাছে ফিরে যেতে হবে।
Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah: except by way of precaution, that ye may Guard yourselves from them. But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself; for the final goal is to Allah. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ২৮) |

বলুন, আল্লাহ ও রসূলের আনুগত্য প্রকাশ কর। বস্তুতঃ যদি তারা বিমুখতা অবলম্বন করে, তাহলে আল্লাহ কাফেরদিগকে ভালবাসেন না।
Say: "Obey Allah and His Messenger": But if they turn back, Allah loveth not those who reject Faith. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৩২) |
| 27 |
এবং কাফেরেরা চক্রান্ত করেছে আর আল্লাহও কৌশল অবলম্বন করেছেন। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন সর্বোত্তম কুশলী।
And (the unbelievers) plotted and planned, and Allah too planned, and the best of planners is Allah. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৫৪) |

আর স্মরণ কর, যখন আল্লাহ বলবেন, হে ঈসা! আমি তোমাকে নিয়ে নেবো এবং তোমাকে নিজের দিকে তুলে নিবো-কাফেরদের থেকে তোমাকে পবিত্র করে দেবো। আর যারা তোমার অনুগত রয়েছে তাদেরকে কিয়ামতের দিন পর্যন্ত যারা অস্বীকৃতি জ্ঞাপন করে তাদের উপর জয়ী করে রাখবো। বস্তুতঃ তোমাদের সবাইকে আমার কাছেই ফিরে আসতে হবে। তখন যে বিষয়ে তোমরা বিবাদ করতে, আমি তোমাদের মধ্যে তার ফয়সালা করে দেবো।
Behold! Allah said: "O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection: Then shall ye all return unto me, and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye dispute. |

অতএব যারা কাফের হয়েছে, তাদেরকে আমি কঠিন শাস্তি দেবো দুনিয়াতে এবং আখেরাতে-তাদের কোন সাহায্যকারী নেই।
"As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help." |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৫৬) |

কেমন করে আল্লাহ এমন জাতিকে হেদায়েত দান করবেন, যারা ঈমান আনার পর এবং রসূলকে সত্য বলে সাক্ষ্য দেয়ার পর এবং তাদের নিকট প্রমাণ এসে যাওয়ার পর কাফের হয়েছে। আর আল্লাহ জালেম সম্প্রদায়কে হেদায়েত দান করেন না।
How shall Allah Guide those who reject Faith after they accepted it and bore witness that the Messenger was true and that Clear Signs had come unto them? but Allah guides not a people unjust. |

আয়াতঃ ৮৬) |

যদি সারা পৃথিবী পরিমাণ স্বর্ণও তার পরিবর্তে দেয়া হয়, তবুও যারা কাফের হয়েছে এবং কাফের অবস্থায় মৃত্যুবরণ করেছে তাদের তওবা কবুল করা হবে না। তাদের জন্য রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক আযাব! পক্ষান্তরে তাদের কোনই সাহায্যকারী নেই।
As to those who reject Faith, and die rejecting,- never would be accepted from any such as much gold as the earth contains, though they should offer it for ransom. For such is (in store) a penalty grievous, and they will find no helpers. |

আয়াতঃ ৯১) |
| 32 |
হে ঈমানদারগণ! তোমরা যদি আহলে কিতাবদের কোন ফেরকার কথা মান, তাহলে ঈমান আনার পর তারা তোমাদিগকে কাফেরে পরিণত করে দেবে।
O ye who believe! If ye listen to a faction among the People of the Book, they would (indeed) render you apostates after ye have believed! |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১০০) |

আর তোমরা কেমন করে কাফের হতে পার, অথচ তোমাদের সামনে পাঠ করা হয় আল্লাহর আয়াত সমূহ এবং তোমাদের মধ্যে রয়েছেন আল্লাহর রসূল। আর যারা আল্লাহর কথা দৃঢ়ভাবে ধরবে, তারা হেদায়েত প্রাপ্ত হবে সরল পথের।
And how would ye deny Faith while unto you are rehearsed the Signs of Allah, and among you Lives the Messenger? Whoever holds firmly to Allah will be shown a way that is straight. |

আয়াতঃ ১০১) |
| 34 |
সেদিন কোন কোন মুখ উজ্জ্বল হবে, আর কোন কোন মুখ হবে কালো। বস্তুতঃ যাদের মুখ কালো হবে, তাদের বলা হবে, তোমরা কি ঈমান আনার পর কাফের হয়ে গিয়েছিলে? এবার সে কুফরীর বিনিময়ে আযাবের আস্বাদ গ্রহণ কর।
On the Day when some faces will be (lit up with) white, and some faces will be (in the gloom of) black: To those whose faces will be black, (will be said): "Did ye reject Faith after accepting it? Taste then the penalty for rejecting Faith." |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১০৬) |
| 35 |
নিশ্চয় যারা কাফের হয়, তাদের ধন সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি আল্লাহর সামনে কখনও কোন কাজে আসবে না। আর তারাই হলো দোযখের আগুনের অধিবাসী। তারা সে আগুনে চিরকাল থাকবে।
Those who reject Faith,- neither their possessions nor their (numerous) progeny will avail them aught against Allah: They will be companions of the Fire,-dwelling therein (for ever). |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১১৬) |
| 36 |
যাতে ধবংস করে দেন কোন কোন কাফেরকে অথবা লাঞ্ছিত করে দেন-যেন ওরা বঞ্চিত হয়ে ফিরে যায়।
That He might cut off a fringe of the Unbelievers or expose them to infamy, and they should then be turned back, frustrated of their purpose. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১২৭) |
| 37 |
এবং তোমরা সে আগুন থেকে বেঁচে থাক, যা কাফেরদের জন্য প্রস্তুত করা হয়েছে।
Fear the Fire, which is repaired for those who reject Faith: |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৩১) |
| 38 |
আর এ কারণে আল্লাহ ঈমানদারদেরকে পাক-সাফ করতে চান এবং কাফেরদেরকে ধবংস করে দিতে চান।
Allah's object also is to purge those that are true in Faith and to deprive of blessing Those that resist Faith. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৪১) |
| 39 |
তারা আর কিছুই বলেনি-শুধু বলেছে, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! মোচন করে দাও আমাদের পাপ এবং যা কিছু বাড়াবাড়ি হয়ে গেছে আমাদের কাজে। আর আমাদিগকে দৃঢ় রাখ এবং কাফেরদের উপর আমাদিগকে সাহায্য কর।
All that they said was: "Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and anything We may have done that transgressed our duty: Establish our feet firmly, and help us against those that resist Faith." |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৪৭) |
| 40 |
হে ঈমানদারগণ! তোমরা যদি কাফেরদের কথা শোন, তাহলে ওরা তোমাদেরকে পেছনে ফিরিয়ে দেবে, তাতে তোমরা ক্ষতির সম্মুখীণ হয়ে পড়বে।
O ye who believe! If ye obey the Unbelievers, they will drive you back on your heels, and ye will turn back (from Faith) to your own loss. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৪৯) |
| 41 |
খুব শীঘ্রই আমি কাফেরদের মনে ভীতির সঞ্চার করবো। কারণ, ওরা আল্লাহর সাথে অংশীদার সাব্যস্ত করে যে সম্পর্কে কোন সনদ অবতীর্ণ করা হয়নি। আর ওদের ঠিকানা হলো দোযখের আগুন। বস্তুতঃ জালেমদের ঠিকানা অত্যন্ত নিকৃষ্ট।
Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority: their abode will be the Fire: And evil is the home of the wrong-doers! |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৫১) |
| 42 |
হে ঈমাণদারগণ! তোমরা তাদের মত হয়ো না, যারা কাফের হয়েছে এবং নিজেদের ভাই বন্ধুরা যখন কোন অভিযানে বের হয় কিংবা জেহাদে যায়, তখন তাদের সম্পর্কে বলে, তারা যদি আমাদের সাথে থাকতো, তাহলে মরতোও না আহতও হতো না। যাতে তারা এ ধারণা সৃষ্টির মাধ্যমে সংশ্লিষ্টদের মনে অনুতাপ সৃষ্টি করতে পারে। অথচ আল্লাহই জীবন দান করেন এবং মৃত্যু দেন। তোমাদের সমস্ত কাজই, তোমরা যা কিছুই কর না কেন, আল্লাহ সবকিছুৃই দেখেন।
O ye who believe! Be not like the Unbelievers, who say of their brethren, when they are travelling through the Earth or engaged in fighting: "If they had stayed with us, they would not have died, or been slain." This that Allah may make it a cause of sighs and regrets in their hearts. It is Allah that gives Life and Death, and Allah sees well all that ye do. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৬) |
| 43 |
কাফেররা যেন মনে না করে যে আমি যে, অবকাশ দান করি, তা তাদের পক্ষে কল্যাণকর। আমি তো তাদেরকে অবকাশ দেই যাতে করে তারা পাপে উন্নতি লাভ করতে পারে। বস্তুতঃ তাদের জন্য রয়েছে লাঞ্ছনাজনক শাস্তি।
Let not the Unbelievers think that our respite to them is good for themselves: We grant them respite that they may grow in their iniquity: But they will have a shameful punishment. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৭৮) |
| 44 |
নগরীতে কাফেরদের চাল-চলন যেন তোমাদিগকে ধোঁকা না দেয়।
Let not the strutting about of the Unbelievers through the land deceive thee: |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৯৬) |
| 45 |
যারা নিজেরাও কার্পন্য করে এবং অন্যকেও কৃপণতা শিক্ষা দেয় আর গোপন করে সে সব বিষয় যা আল্লাহ তা’আলা তাদেরকে দান করেছেন স্বীয় অনুগ্রহে-বস্তুতঃ তৈরী করে রেখেছি কাফেরদের জন্য অপমান জনক আযাব।
(Nor) those who are niggardly or enjoin niggardliness on others, or hide the bounties which Allah hath bestowed on them; for We have prepared, for those who resist Faith, a punishment that steeps them in contempt;- |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৩৭) |
| 46 |
সেদিন কামনা করবে সে সমস্ত লোক, যারা কাফের হয়েছিল এবং রসূলের নাফরমানী করেছিল, যেন যমীনের সাথে মিশে যায়। কিন্তু গোপন করতে পারবে না আল্লাহর নিকট কোন বিষয়।
On that day those who reject Faith and disobey the messenger will wish that the earth Were made one with them: But never will they hide a single fact from Allah! |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৪২) |
| 47 |
তুমি কি তাদেরকে দেখনি, যারা কিতাবের কিছু অংশ প্রাপ্ত হয়েছে, যারা মান্য করে প্রতিমা ও শয়তানকে এবং কাফেরদেরকে বলে যে, এরা মুসলমানদের তুলনায় অধিকতর সরল সঠিক পথে রয়েছে।
Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who were given a portion of the Book? they believe in sorcery and Evil, and say to the Unbelievers that they are better guided in the (right) way Than the believers! |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৫১) |
| 48 |
যারা ঈমানদার তারা যে, জেহাদ করে আল্লাহর রাহেই। পক্ষান্তরে যারা কাফের তারা লড়াই করে শয়তানের পক্ষে সুতরাং তোমরা জেহাদ করতে থাক শয়তানের পক্ষালম্বনকারীদের বিরুদ্ধে, (দেখবে) শয়তানের চক্রান্ত একান্তই দুর্বল।
Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah, and those who reject Faith Fight in the cause of Evil: So fight ye against the friends of Satan: feeble indeed is the cunning of Satan. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৭৬) |
| 49 |
আল্লাহর রাহে যুদ্ধ করতে থাকুন, আপনি নিজের সত্তা ব্যতীত অন্য কোন বিষয়ের যিম্মাদার নন! আর আপনি মুসলমানদেরকে উৎসাহিত করতে থাকুন। শীঘ্রই আল্লাহ কাফেরদের শক্তি-সামর্থ খর্ব করে দেবেন। আর আল্লাহ শক্তি-সামর্থের দিক দিয়ে অত্যন্ত কঠোর এবং কঠিন শাস্তিদাতা।
Then fight in Allah's cause - Thou art held responsible only for thyself - and rouse the believers. It may be that Allah will restrain the fury of the Unbelievers; for Allah is the strongest in might and in punishment. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৮৪) |
| 50 |
তারা চায় যে, তারা যেমন কাফের, তোমরাও তেমনি কাফের হয়ে যাও, যাতে তোমরা এবং তারা সব সমান হয়ে যাও। অতএব, তাদের মধ্যে কাউকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করো না, যে পর্যন্ত না তারা আল্লাহর পথে হিজরত করে চলে আসে। অতঃপর যদি তারা বিমুখ হয়, তবে তাদেরকে পাকড়াও কর এবং যেখানে পাও হত্যা কর। তাদের মধ্যে কাউকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করো না এবং সাহায্যকারী বানিও না।
They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks;- |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৮৯) |
| 51 |
যখন তোমরা কোন দেশ সফর কর, তখন নামাযে কিছুটা হ্রাস করলে তোমাদের কোন গোনাহ নেই, যদি তোমরা আশঙ্কা কর যে, কাফেররা তোমাদেরকে উত্ত্যক্ত করবে। নিশ্চয় কাফেররা তোমাদের প্রকাশ্য শত্রু।
When ye travel through the earth, there is no blame on you if ye shorten your prayers, for fear the Unbelievers May attack you: For the Unbelievers are unto you open enemies. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১০১) |
| 52 |
যখন আপনি তাদের মধ্যে থাকেন, অতঃপর নামাযে দাঁড়ান, তখন যেন একদল দাঁড়ায় আপনার সাথে এবং তারা যেন স্বীয় অস্ত্র সাথে নেয়। অতঃপর যখন তারা সেজদা সম্পন্ন করে, তখন আপনার কাছ থেকে যেন সরে যায় এবং অন্য দল যেন আসে, যারা নামায পড়েনি। অতঃপর তারা যেন আপনার সাথে নামায পড়ে এবং আত্মরক্ষার হাতিয়ার সাথে নেয়। কাফেররা চায় যে, তোমরা কোন রূপে অসতর্ক থাক, যাতে তারা একযোগে তোমাদেরকে আক্রমণ করে বসে। যদি বৃষ্টির কারণে তোমাদের কষ্ট হয় অথবা তোমরা অসুস্থ হও তবে স্বীয় অস্ত্র পরিত্যাগ করায় তোমাদের কোন গোনাহ নেই এবং সাথে নিয়ে নাও তোমাদের আত্নরক্ষার অস্ত্র। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ কাফেরদের জন্যে অপমানকর শাস্তি প্রস্তুত করে রেখেছেন।
When thou (O Messenger) art with them, and standest to lead them in prayer, Let one party of them stand up (in prayer) with thee, Taking their arms with them: When they finish their prostrations, let them Take their position in the rear. And let the other party come up which hath not yet prayed - and let them pray with thee, Taking all precaution, and bearing arms: the Unbelievers wish, if ye were negligent of your arms and your baggage, to assault you in a single rush. But there is no blame on you if ye put away your arms because of the inconvenience of rain or because ye are ill; but take (every) precaution for yourselves. For the Unbelievers Allah hath prepared a humiliating punishment. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১০২) |
| 53 |
যারা একবার মুসলমান হয়ে পরে পুনরায় কাফের হয়ে গেছে, আবার মুসলমান হয়েছে এবং আবারো কাফের হয়েছে এবং কুফরীতেই উন্নতি লাভ করেছে, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে না কখনও ক্ষমা করবেন, না পথ দেখাবেন।
Those who believe, then reject faith, then believe (again) and (again) reject faith, and go on increasing in unbelief,- Allah will not forgive them nor guide them nor guide them on the way. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৭) |
| 54 |
যারা মুসলমানদের বর্জন করে কাফেরদেরকে নিজেদের বন্ধু বানিয়ে নেয় এবং তাদেরই কাছে সম্মান প্রত্যাশা করে, অথচ যাবতীয় সম্মান শুধুমাত্র আল্লাহরই জন্য।
Yea, to those who take for friends unbelievers rather than believers: is it honour they seek among them? Nay,- all honour is with Allah. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৯) |
| 55 |
আর কোরআনের মাধ্যমে তোমাদের প্রতি এই হুকুম জারি করে দিয়েছেন যে, যখন আল্লাহ তা’ আলার আয়াতসমূহের প্রতি অস্বীকৃতি জ্ঞাপন ও বিদ্রুপ হতে শুনবে, তখন তোমরা তাদের সাথে বসবে না, যতক্ষণ না তারা প্রসঙ্গান্তরে চলে যায়। তা না হলে তোমরাও তাদেরই মত হয়ে যাবে। আল্লাহ দোযখের মাঝে মুনাফেক ও কাফেরদেরকে একই জায়গায় সমবেত করবেন।
Already has He sent you Word in the Book, that when ye hear the signs of Allah held in defiance and ridicule, ye are not to sit with them unless they turn to a different theme: if ye did, ye would be like them. For Allah will collect the hypocrites and those who defy faith - all in Hell:- |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৪০) |
| 56 |
এরা এমনি মুনাফেক যারা তোমাদের কল্যাণ-অকল্যাণের প্রতীক্ষায় ওঁৎপেতে থাকে। অতঃপর আল্লাহর ইচ্ছায় তোমাদের যদি কোন বিজয় অর্জিত হয়, তবে তারা বলে, আমরাও কি তোমাদের সাথে ছিলাম না? পক্ষান্তরে কাফেরদের যদি আংশিক বিজয় হয়, তবে বলে, আমরা কি তোমাদেরকে ঘিরে রাখিনি এবং মুসলমানদের কবল থেকে রক্ষা করিনি? সুতরাং আল্লাহ তোমাদের মধ্যে কেয়ামতের দিন মীমাংসা করবেন এবং কিছুতেই আল্লাহ কাফেরদেরকে মুসলমানদের উপর বিজয় দান করবেন না।
(These are) the ones who wait and watch about you: if ye do gain a victory from Allah, they say: "Were we not with you?"- but if the unbelievers gain a success, they say (to them): "Did we not gain an advantage over you, and did we not guard you from the believers?" but Allah will judge betwixt you on the Day of Judgment. And never will Allah grant to the unbelievers a way (to triumphs) over the believers. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৪১) |
| 57 |
হে ঈমানদারগণ! তোমরা কাফেরদেরকে বন্ধু বানিও না মুসলমানদের বাদ দিয়ে। তোমরা কি এমনটি করে নিজের উপর আল্লাহর প্রকাশ্য দলীল কায়েম করে দেবে?
O ye who believe! Take not for friends unbelievers rather than believers: Do ye wish to offer Allah an open proof against yourselves? |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৪৪) |
| 58 |
আর এ কারণে যে, তারা সুদ গ্রহণ করত, অথচ এ ব্যাপারে নিষেধাজ্ঞা আরোপ করা হয়েছিল এবং এ কারণে যে, তারা অপরের সম্পদ ভোগ করতো অন্যায় ভাবে। বস্তুত; আমি কাফেরদের জন্য তৈরী করে রেখেছি বেদনাদায়ক আযাব।
That they took usury, though they were forbidden; and that they devoured men's substance wrongfully;- we have prepared for those among them who reject faith a grievous punishment. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৬১) |
| 59 |
তোমাদের জন্যে হারাম করা হয়েছে মৃত জীব, রক্ত, শুকরের মাংস, যেসব জন্তু আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্যের নামে উৎসর্গকৃত হয়, যা কন্ঠরোধে মারা যায়, যা আঘাত লেগে মারা যায়, যা উচ্চ স্থান থেকে পতনের ফলে মারা যা, যা শিং এর আঘাতে মারা যায় এবং যাকে হিংস্র জন্তু ভক্ষণ করেছে, কিন্তু যাকে তোমরা যবেহ করেছ। যে জন্তু যজ্ঞবেদীতে যবেহ করা হয় এবং যা ভাগ্য নির্ধারক শর দ্বারা বন্টন করা হয়। এসব গোনাহর কাজ। আজ কাফেররা তোমাদের দ্বীন থেকে নিরাশ হয়ে গেছে। অতএব তাদেরকে ভয় করো না বরং আমাকে ভয় কর। আজ আমি তোমাদের জন্যে তোমাদের দ্বীনকে পূর্নাঙ্গ করে দিলাম, তোমাদের প্রতি আমার অবদান সম্পূর্ণ করে দিলাম এবং ইসলামকে তোমাদের জন্যে দ্বীন হিসেবে পছন্দ করলাম। অতএব যে ব্যাক্তি তীব্র ক্ষুধায় কাতর হয়ে পড়ে; কিন্তু কোন গোনাহর প্রতি প্রবণতা না থাকে, তবে নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ তা’আলা ক্ষমাশীল।
Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah; that which hath been killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by being gored to death; that which hath been (partly) eaten by a wild animal; unless ye are able to slaughter it (in due form); that which is sacrificed on stone (altars); (forbidden) also is the division (of meat) by raffling with arrows: that is impiety. This day have those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion: yet fear them not but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But if any is forced by hunger, with no inclination to transgression, Allah is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩) |
| 60 |
আল্লাহ বনী-ইসরাঈলের কাছ থেকে অঙ্গীকার নিয়েছিলেন এবং আমি তাদের মধ্য থেকে বার জন সর্দার নিযুক্ত করেছিলাম। আল্লাহ বলে দিলেনঃ আমি তোমাদের সঙ্গে আছি। যদি তোমরা নামায প্রতিষ্ঠিত কর, যাকাত দিতে থাক, আমার পয়গম্বরদের প্রতি বিশ্বাস রাখ, তাঁদের সাহায্য কর এবং আল্লাহকে উত্তম পন্থায় ঋন দিতে থাক, তবে আমি অবশ্যই তোমাদের গোনাহ দুর করে দিব এবং অবশ্যই তোমাদেরকে উদ্যান সমূহে প্রবিষ্ট করব, যেগুলোর তলদেশ দিয়ে নিঝরিনীসমূহ প্রবাহিত হয়। অতঃপর তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে যে ব্যক্তি এরপরও কাফের হয়, সে নিশ্চিতই সরল পথ থেকে বিচ্যুত হয়ে পড়ে।
Allah did aforetime take a covenant from the Children of Israel, and we appointed twelve captains among them. And Allah said: "I am with you: if ye (but) establish regular prayers, practise regular charity, believe in my messengers, honour and assist them, and loan to Allah a beautiful loan, verily I will wipe out from you your evils, and admit you to gardens with rivers flowing beneath; but if any of you, after this, resisteth faith, he hath truly wandered from the path or rectitude." |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১২) |
| 61 |
নিশ্চয় তারা কাফের, যারা বলে, মসীহ ইবনে মরিয়মই আল্লাহ। আপনি জিজ্ঞেস করুন, যদি তাই হয়, তবে বল যদি আল্লাহ মসীহ ইবনে মরিয়ম, তাঁর জননী এবং ভূমন্ডলে যারা আছে, তাদের সবাইকে ধ্বংস করতে চান, তবে এমন কারও সাধ্য আছে কি যে আল্লাহর কাছ থেকে তাদেরকে বিন্দুমাত্রও বাঁচাতে পারে? নভোমন্ডল, ভুমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যে যা আছে, সবকিছুর উপর আল্লাহ তা’আলার আধিপত্য। তিনি যা ইচ্ছা সৃষ্টি করেন। আল্লাহ সবকিছুর উপর শক্তিমান।
In blasphemy indeed are those that say that Allah is Christ the son of Mary. Say: "Who then hath the least power against Allah, if His will were to destroy Christ the son of Mary, his mother, and all every - one that is on the earth? For to Allah belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between. He createth what He pleaseth. For Allah hath power over all things." |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৭) |

যারা কাফের, যদি তাদের কাছে পৃথিবীর সমুদয় সম্পদ এবং তৎসহ আরও তদনুরূপ সম্পদ থাকে আর এগুলো বিনিময়ে দিয়ে কিয়ামতের শাস্তি থেকে পরিত্রান পেতে চায়, তবুও তাদের কাছ থেকে তা কবুল করা হবে না। তাদের জন্যে যন্ত্রনাদায়ক শাস্তি রয়েছে।
As to those who reject Faith,- if they had everything on earth, and twice repeated, to give as ransom for the penalty of the Day of Judgment, it would never be accepted of them, theirs would be a grievous penalty. |

আমি তওরাত অবর্তীর্ন করেছি। এতে হেদায়াত ও আলো রয়েছে। আল্লাহর আজ্ঞাবহ পয়গম্বর, দরবেশ ও আলেমরা এর মাধ্যমে ইহুদীদেরকে ফয়সালা দিতেন। কেননা, তাদেরকে এ খোদায়ী গ্রন্থের দেখাশোনা করার নির্দেশ দেয়া হয়েছিল এবং তাঁরা এর রক্ষণাবেক্ষণে নিযুক্ত ছিলেন। অতএব, তোমরা মানুষকে ভয় করো না এবং আমাকে ভয় কর এবং আমার আয়াত সমূহের বিনিময়ে স্বল্পমূল্যে গ্রহণ করো না, যেসব লোক আল্লাহ যা অবতীর্ণ করেছেন, তদনুযায়ী ফায়সালা করে না, তারাই কাফের।
It was We who revealed the law (to Moses): therein was guidance and light. By its standard have been judged the Jews, by the prophets who bowed (as in Islam) to Allah's will, by the rabbis and the doctors of law: for to them was entrusted the protection of Allah's book, and they were witnesses thereto: therefore fear not men, but fear me, and sell not my signs for a miserable price. If any do fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath revealed, they are (no better than) Unbelievers. |

আয়াতঃ ৪৪) |
| 64 |
হে মুমিনগণ, তোমাদের মধ্যে যে স্বীয় ধর্ম থেকে ফিরে যাবে, অচিরে আল্লাহ এমন সম্প্রদায় সৃষ্টি করবেন, যাদেরকে তিনি ভালবাসবেন এবং তারা তাঁকে ভালবাসবে। তারা মুসলমানদের প্রতি বিনয়-নম্র হবে এবং কাফেরদের প্রতি কঠোর হবে। তারা আল্লাহর পথে জেহাদ করবে এবং কোন তিরস্কারকারীর তিরস্কারে ভীত হবে না। এটি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ-তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা দান করেন। আল্লাহ প্রাচুর্য দানকারী, মহাজ্ঞানী।
O ye who believe! if any from among you turn back from his Faith, soon will Allah produce a people whom He will love as they will love Him,- lowly with the believers, mighty against the rejecters, fighting in the way of Allah, and never afraid of the reproaches of such as find fault. That is the grace of Allah, which He will bestow on whom He pleaseth. And Allah encompasseth all, and He knoweth all things. |

| 65 |
হে মুমিনগণ, আহলে কিতাবদের মধ্য থেকে যারা তোমাদের ধর্মকে উপহাস ও খেলা মনে করে, তাদেরকে এবং অন্যান্য কাফেরকে বন্ধু রূপে গ্রহণ করো না। আল্লাহকে ভয় কর, যদি তোমরা ঈমানদার হও।
O ye who believe! take not for friends and protectors those who take your religion for a mockery or sport,- whether among those who received the Scripture before you, or among those who reject Faith; but fear ye Allah, if ye have faith (indeed). |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৭) |
| 66 |
হে রসূল, পৌছে দিন আপনার প্রতিপালকের পক্ষ থেকে আপনার প্রতি যা অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে। আর যদি আপনি এরূপ না করেন, তবে আপনি তাঁর পয়গাম কিছুই পৌছালেন না। আল্লাহ আপনাকে মানুষের কাছ থেকে রক্ষা করবেন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ কাফেরদেরকে পথ প্রদর্শন করেন না।
O Messenger! proclaim the (message) which hath been sent to thee from thy Lord. If thou didst not, thou wouldst not have fulfilled and proclaimed His mission. And Allah will defend thee from men (who mean mischief). For Allah guideth not those who reject Faith. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৭) |
| 67 |
বলে দিনঃ হে আহলে কিতাবগণ, তোমরা কোন পথেই নও, যে পর্যন্ত না তোমরা তওরাত, ইঞ্জিল এবং যে গ্রন্থ তোমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের প্রতি অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে তাও পুরোপুরি পালন না কর। আপনার পালনকর্তার কাছ থেকে আপনার প্রতি যা অবর্তীণ হয়েছে, তার কারণে তাদের অনেকের অবাধ্যতা ও কুফর বৃদ্ধি পাবে। অতএব, এ কাফের সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে দুঃখ করবেন না।
Say: "O People of the Book! ye have no ground to stand upon unless ye stand fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord." It is the revelation that cometh to thee from thy Lord, that increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. But sorrow thou not over (these) people without Faith. |

আয়াতঃ ৬৮) |
| 68 |
তারা কাফের, যারা বলে যে, মরিময়-তনয় মসীহ-ই আল্লাহ; অথচ মসীহ বলেন, হে বণী-ইসরাঈল, তোমরা আল্লাহর এবাদত কর, যিনি আমার পালন কর্তা এবং তোমাদেরও পালনকর্তা। নিশ্চয় যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর সাথে অংশীদার স্থির করে, আল্লাহ তার জন্যে জান্নাত হারাম করে দেন। এবং তার বাসস্থান হয় জাহান্নাম। অত্যাচারীদের কোন সাহায্যকারী নেই।
They do blaspheme who say: "Allah is Christ the son of Mary." But said Christ: "O Children of Israel! worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Whoever joins other gods with Allah,- Allah will forbid him the garden, and the Fire will be his abode. There will for the wrong-doers be no one to help. |

| 69 |
নিশ্চয় তারা কাফের, যারা বলেঃ আল্লাহ তিনের এক; অথচ এক উপাস্য ছাড়া কোন উপাস্য নেই। যদি তারা স্বীয় উক্তি থেকে নিবৃত্ত না হয়, তবে তাদের মধ্যে যারা কুফরে অটল থাকবে, তাদের উপর যন্ত্রনাদায়ক শাস্তি পতিত হবে।
They do blaspheme who say: Allah is one of three in a Trinity: for there is no god except One Allah. If they desist not from their word (of blasphemy), verily a grievous penalty will befall the blasphemers among them. |

বনী-ইসলাঈলের মধ্যে যারা কাফের, তাদেরকে দাউদ ও মরিয়মতনয় ঈসার মুখে অভিসম্পাত করা হয়েছে। এটা একারণে যে, তারা অবাধ্যতা করত এবং সীমা লংঘন করত।
Curses were pronounced on those among the Children of Israel who rejected Faith, by the tongue of David and of Jesus the son of Mary: because they disobeyed and persisted in excesses. |

আয়াতঃ ৭৮) |

আপনি তাদের অনেককে দেখবেন, কাফেরদের সাথে বন্ধুত্ব করে। তারা নিজেদের জন্য যা পাঠিয়েছে তা অবশ্যই মন্দ। তা এই যে, তাদের প্রতি আল্লাহ ক্রোধান্বিত হয়েছেন এবং তারা চিরকাল আযাবে থাকবে।
Thou seest many of them turning in friendship to the Unbelievers. Evil indeed are (the works) which their souls have sent forward before them (with the result), that Allah's wrath is on them, and in torment will they abide. |

যদি তারা আল্লাহর প্রতি ও রসূলের প্রতি অবতীর্ণ বিষয়ের প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করত, তবে কাফেরদেরকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করত না। কিন্তু তাদের মধ্যে অনেকেই দুরাচার।
If only they had believed in Allah, in the Prophet, and in what hath been revealed to him, never would they have taken them for friends and protectors, but most of them are rebellious wrong-doers. |

| 73 |
যারা কাফের হয়েছে এবং আমার নিদর্শনাবলীকে মিথ্যা বলেছে, তারাই দোযখী।
But those who reject Faith and belie our Signs,- they shall be companions of Hell-fire. |

আয়াতঃ ৮৬) |

আল্লাহ ‘বহিরা’ ‘সায়েবা’ ওসীলা’ এবং ‘হামী’ কে শরীয়তসিদ্ধ করেননি। কিন্তু যারা কাফের, তারা আল্লাহর উপর মিথ্যা অপবাদ আরোপ করে। তাদের অধিকাংশেরই বিবেক বুদ্ধি নেই।
It was not Allah who instituted (superstitions like those of) a slit-ear she-camel, or a she-camel let loose for free pasture, or idol sacrifices for twin-births in animals, or stallion-camels freed from work: It is blasphemers who invent a lie against Allah; but most of them lack wisdom. |

আয়াতঃ ১০৩) |
| 75 |
যখন আল্লাহ বলবেনঃ হে ঈসা ইবনে মরিয়ম, তোমার প্রতি ও তোমার মাতার প্রতি আমার অনুগ্রহ স্মরণ কর, যখন আমি তোমাকে পবিত্র আত্মার দ্বারা সাহায্য করেছি। তুমি মানুষের সাথে কথা বলতে কোলে থাকতেও এবং পরিণত বয়সেও এবং যখন আমি তোমাকে গ্রন্থ, প্রগাঢ় জ্ঞান, তওরাত ও ইঞ্জিল শিক্ষা দিয়েছি এবং যখন তুমি কাদামাটি দিয়ে পাখীর প্রতিকৃতির মত প্রতিকৃতি নির্মাণ করতে আমার আদেশে, অতঃপর তুমি তাতে ফুঁ দিতে; ফলে তা আমার আদেশে পাখী হয়ে যেত এবং তুমি আমার আদেশে জন্মান্ধ ও কুষ্টরোগীকে নিরাময় করে দিতে এবং যখন আমি বনী-ইসরাঈলকে তোমা থেকে নিবৃত্ত রেখেছিলাম, যখন তুমি তাদের কাছে প্রমাণাদি নিয়ে এসেছিলে, অতঃপর তাদের মধ্যে যারা কাফের ছিল, তারা বললঃ এটা প্রকাশ্য জাদু ছাড়া কিছুই নয়।
Then will Allah say: "O Jesus the son of Mary! Recount My favour to thee and to thy mother. Behold! I strengthened thee with the holy spirit, so that thou didst speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. Behold! I taught thee the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel and behold! thou makest out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, by My leave, and thou breathest into it and it becometh a bird by My leave, and thou healest those born blind, and the lepers, by My leave. And behold! thou bringest forth the dead by My leave. And behold! I did restrain the Children of Israel from (violence to) thee when thou didst show them the clear Signs, and the unbelievers among them said: 'This is nothing but evident magic.' |

সর্ববিধ প্রশংসা আল্লাহরই জন্য যিনি নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডল সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং অন্ধকার ও আলোর উদ্ভব করেছেন। তথাপি কাফেররা স্বীয় পালনকর্তার সাথে অন্যান্যকে সমতুল্য স্থির করে।
Praise be Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, and made the darkness and the light. Yet those who reject Faith hold (others) as equal, with their Guardian-Lord. |

তাদের কেউ কেউ আপনার দিকে কান লাগিয়ে থাকে। আমি তাদের অন্তরের উপর আবরণ রেখে দিয়েছি যাতে একে না বুঝে এবং তাদের কানে বোঝা ভরে দিয়েছি। যদি তারা সব নিদর্শন অবলোকন করে তবুও সেগুলো বিশ্বাস করবে না। এমনকি, তারা যখন আপনার কাছে ঝগড়া করতে আসে, তখন কাফেররা বলেঃ এটি পুর্ববর্তীদের কিচ্ছাকাহিনী বৈ তো নয়।
Of them there are some who (pretend to) listen to thee; but We have thrown veils on their hearts, So they understand it not, and deafness in their ears; if they saw every one of the signs, not they will believe in them; in so much that when they come to thee, they (but) dispute with thee; the Unbelievers say: "These are nothing but tales of the ancients." |
(আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ২৫) |
| 78 |
আর যে মৃত ছিল অতঃপর আমি তাকে জীবিত করেছি এবং তাকে এমন একটি আলো দিয়েছি, যা নিয়ে সে মানুষের মধ্যে চলাফেরা করে। সে কি ঐ ব্যক্তির সমতুল্য হতে পারে, যে অন্ধকারে রয়েছে-সেখান থেকে বের হতে পারছে না? এমনিভাবে কাফেরদের দৃষ্টিতে তাদের কাজকর্মকে সুশোভিত করে দেয়া হয়েছে।
Can he who was dead, to whom We gave life, and a light whereby he can walk amongst men, be like him who is in the depths of darkness, from which he can never come out? Thus to those without faith their own deeds seem pleasing. |
(আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১২২) |
| 79 |
হে জ্বিন ও মানব সম্প্রদায়, তোমাদের কাছে কি তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে পয়গম্বরগণ আগমন করেনি? যাঁরা তোমাদেরকে আমার বিধানাবলী বর্ণনা করতেন এবং তোমাদেরকে আজকের এ দিনের সাক্ষাতের ভীতি প্রদর্শন করতেন? তারা বলবেঃ আমরা স্বীয় গোনাহ স্বীকার করে নিলাম। পার্থিব জীবন তাদেরকে প্রতারিত করেছে। তারা নিজেদের বিরুদ্ধে স্বীকার করে নিয়েছে যে, তারা কাফের ছিল।
"O ye assembly of Jinns and men! came there not unto you messengers from amongst you, setting forth unto you My signs, and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say: "We bear witness against ourselves." It was the life of this world that deceived them. So against themselves will they bear witness that they rejected Faith. |

অতঃপর ঐ ব্যক্তির চাইতে অধিক জালেম কে, যে আল্লাহর প্রতি মিথ্যা আরোপ করে অথবা তার নির্দেশাবলীকে মিথ্যা বলে? তারা তাদের গ্রন্থে লিখিত অংশ পেয়ে যাবে। এমন কি, যখন তাদের কাছে আমার প্রেরিত ফেরশতারা প্রাণ নেওয়ার জন্যে পৌছে, তখন তারা বলে; তারা কোথায় গেল, যাদের কে তোমরা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত আহবান করতে? তারা উত্তর দেবেঃ আমাদের কাছ থেকে উধাও হয়ে গেছে, তারা নিজেদের সম্পর্কে স্বীকার করবে যে, তারা অবশ্যই কাফের ছিল।
Who is more unjust than one who invents a lie against Allah or rejects His Signs? For such, their portion appointed must reach them from the Book (of decrees): until, when our messengers (of death) arrive and take their souls, they say: "Where are the things that ye used to invoke besides Allah?" They will reply, "They have left us in the lurch," And they will bear witness against themselves, that they had rejected Allah. |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৭) |
| 81 |
দোযখীরা জান্নাতীদেরকে ডেকে বলবেঃ আমাদের উপর সামান্য পানি নিক্ষেপ কর অথবা আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে যে রুযী দিয়েছেন, তা থেকেই কিছু দাও। তারা বলবেঃ আল্লাহ এই উভয় বস্তু কাফেরদের জন্যে নিষিদ্ধ করেছেন,
The Companions of the Fire will call to the Companions of the Garden: "Pour down to us water or anything that Allah doth provide for your sustenance." They will say: "Both these things hath Allah forbidden to those who rejected Him." |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৫০) |
| 82 |
তার সম্প্রদায়ের কাফের সর্দাররা বললঃ যদি তোমরা শোয়ায়েবের অনুসরণ কর, তবে নিশ্চিতই ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হবে।
The leaders, the unbelievers among his people, said: "If ye follow Shu'aib, be sure then ye are ruined!" |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৯০) |
| 83 |
অনন্তর সে তাদের কাছ থেকে প্রস্থান করল এবং বললঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, আমি তোমাদেরকে প্রতিপালকের পয়গাম পৌছে দিয়েছি এবং তোমাদের হিত কামনা করেছি। এখন আমি কাফেরদের জন্যে কেন দুঃখ করব।
So Shu'aib left them, saying: "O my people! I did indeed convey to you the messages for which I was sent by my Lord: I gave you good counsel, but how shall I lament over a people who refuse to believe!" |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৯৩) |
| 84 |
এগুলো হল সে সব জনপদ যার কিছু বিবরণ আমি আপনাকে অবহিত করছি। আর নিশ্চিতই ওদের কাছে পৌছেছিলেন রসূল নিদর্শন সহকারে। অতঃপর কস্মিনকালও এরা ঈমান আনবার ছিল না, তারপরে যা তার ইতিপূর্বে মিথ্যা বলে প্রতিপন্ন করেছে। এভাবেই আল্লাহ কাফেরদের অন্তরে মোহর এঁটে দেন।
Such were the towns whose story We (thus) relate unto thee: There came indeed to them their messengers with clear (signs): But they would not believe what they had rejected before. Thus doth Allah seal up the hearts of those who reject faith. |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১০১) |
| 85 |
আর যখন আল্লাহ দু’টি দলের একটির ব্যাপারে তোমাদের সাথে ওয়াদা করেছিলেন যে, সেটি তোমাদের হস্তগত হবে, আর তোমরা কামনা করছিলে যাতে কোন রকম কন্টক নেই, তাই তোমাদের ভাগে আসুক; অথচ আল্লাহ চাইতেন সত্যকে স্বীয় কালামের মাধ্যমে সত্যে পরিণত করতে এবং কাফেরদের মূল কর্তন করে দিতে,
Behold! Allah promised you one of the two (enemy) parties, that it should be yours: Ye wished that the one unarmed should be yours, but Allah willed to justify the Truth according to His words and to cut off the roots of the Unbelievers;- |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৭) |
| 86 |
যখন নির্দেশ দান করেন ফেরেশতাদিগকে তোমাদের পরওয়ারদেগার যে, আমি সাথে রয়েছি তোমাদের, সুতরাং তোমরা মুসলমানদের চিত্তসমূহকে ধীরস্থির করে রাখ। আমি কাফেরদের মনে ভীতির সঞ্চার করে দেব। কাজেই গর্দানের উপর আঘাত হান এবং তাদেরকে কাট জোড়ায় জোড়ায়।
Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instil terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them." |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ১২) |
| 87 |
আপাততঃ বর্তমান এ শাস্তি তোমরা আস্বাদন করে নাও এবং জেনে রাখ যে, কাফেরদের জন্য রয়েছে দোযখের আযাব।
Thus (will it be said): "Taste ye then of the (punishment): for those who resist Allah, is the penalty of the Fire." |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ১৪) |
| 88 |
হে ঈমানদারগণ, তোমরা যখন কাফেরদের সাথে মুখোমুখী হবে, তখন পশ্চাদপসরণ করবে না।
O ye who believe! when ye meet the Unbelievers in hostile array, never turn your backs to them. |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ১৫) |
| 89 |
এটাতো গেল, আর জেনে রেখো, আল্লাহ নস্যাৎ করে দেবেন কাফেরদের সমস্ত কলা-কৌশল।
That, and also because Allah is He Who makes feeble the plans and stratagem of the Unbelievers. |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ১৮) |
| 90 |
আর কাফেরেরা যখন প্রতারণা করত আপনাকে বন্দী অথবা হত্যা করার উদ্দেশ্যে কিংবা আপনাকে বের করে দেয়ার জন্য তখন তারা যেমন ছলনা করত তেমনি, আল্লাহও ছলনা করতেন। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহর ছলনা সবচেয়ে উত্তম।
Remember how the Unbelievers plotted against thee, to keep thee in bonds, or slay thee, or get thee out (of thy home). They plot and plan, and Allah too plans; but the best of planners is Allah. |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৩০) |
| 91 |
নিঃসন্দেহে যেসব লোক কাফের, তারা ব্যয় করে নিজেদের ধন-সম্পদ, যাতে করে বাধাদান করতে পারে আল্লাহর পথে। বস্তুতঃ এখন তারা আরো ব্যয় করবে। তারপর তাই তাদের জন্য আক্ষেপের কারণ হয়ে এবং শেষ পর্যন্ত তারা হেরে যাবে। আর যারা কাফের তাদেরকে দোযখের দিকে তাড়িয়ে নিয়ে যাওয়া হবে।
The Unbelievers spend their wealth to hinder (man) from the path of Allah, and so will they continue to spend; but in the end they will have (only) regrets and sighs; at length they will be overcome: and the Unbelievers will be gathered together to Hell;- |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬) |
| 92 |
তুমি বলে দাও, কাফেরদেরকে যে, তারা যদি বিরত হয়ে যায়, তবে যা কিছু ঘটে গেছে ক্ষমা হবে যাবে। পক্ষান্তরে আবারও যদি তাই করে, তবে পুর্ববর্তীদের পথ নির্ধারিত হয়ে গেছে।
Say to the Unbelievers, if (now) they desist (from Unbelief), their past would be forgiven them; but if they persist, the punishment of those before them is already (a matter of warning for them). |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৩৮) |
| 93 |
আল্লাহ যখন তোমাকে স্বপ্নে সেসব কাফেরের পরিমাণ অল্প করে দেখালেন; বেশী করে দেখালে তোমরা কাপুরুষতা অবলম্বন করতে এবং কাজের বেলায় বিপদ সৃষ্টি করতে। কিন্তু আল্লাহ বাঁচিয়ে দিয়েছেন। তিনি অতি উত্তমভাবেই জানেন; যা কিছু অন্তরে রয়েছে।
Remember in thy dream Allah showed them to thee as few: if He had shown them to thee as many, ye would surely have been discouraged, and ye would surely have disputed in (your) decision; but Allah saved (you): for He knoweth well the (secrets) of (all) hearts. |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৪৩) |
| 94 |
আর যদি তুমি দেখ, যখন ফেরেশতারা কাফেরদের জান কবজ করে; প্রহার করে, তাদের মুখে এবং তাদের পশ্চাদদেশে আর বলে, জ্বলন্ত আযাবের স্বাদ গ্রহণ কর।
If thou couldst see, when the angels take the souls of the Unbelievers (at death), (How) they smite their faces and their backs, (saying): "Taste the penalty of the blazing Fire- |

আর কাফেররা যেন একা যা মনে না করে যে, তারা বেঁচে গেছে; কখনও এরা আমাকে পরিশ্রান্ত করতে পারবে না।
Let not the unbelievers think that they can get the better (of the godly): they will never frustrate (them). |

হে নবী, আপনি মুসলমানগণকে উৎসাহিত করুন জেহাদের জন্য। তোমাদের মধ্যে যদি বিশ জন দৃঢ়পদ ব্যক্তি থাকে, তবে জয়ী হবে দু’শর মোকাবেলায়। আর যদি তোমাদের মধ্যে থাকে একশ লোক, তবে জয়ী হবে হাজার কাফেরের উপর থেকে তার কারণ ওরা জ্ঞানহীন।
O Prophet! rouse the Believers to the fight. If there are twenty amongst you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred: if a hundred, they will vanquish a thousand of the Unbelievers: for these are a people without understanding. |

আর যারা কাফের তারা পারস্পরিক সহযোগী, বন্ধু। তোমরা যদি এমন ব্যবস্থা না কর, তবে দাঙ্গা-হাঙ্গামা বিস্তার লাভ করবে এবং দেশময় বড়ই অকল্যাণ হবে।
The Unbelievers are protectors, one of another: Unless ye do this, (protect each other), there would be tumult and oppression on earth, and great mischief. |

অতঃপর তোমরা পরিভ্রমণ কর এ দেশে চার মাসকাল। আর জেনে রেখো, তোমরা আল্লাহকে পরাভূত করতে পারবে না, আর নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ কাফেরদিগকে লাঞ্ছিত করে থাকেন।
Go ye, then, for four months, backwards and forwards, (as ye will), throughout the land, but know ye that ye cannot frustrate Allah (by your falsehood) but that Allah will cover with shame those who reject Him. |

আর মহান হজ্বের দিনে আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের পক্ষ থেকে লোকদের প্রতি ঘোষণা করে দেয়া হচ্ছে যে, আল্লাহ মুশরেকদের থেকে দায়িত্ব মুক্ত এবং তাঁর রসূলও। অবশ্য যদি তোমরা তওবা কর, তবে তা, তোমাদের জন্যেও কল্যাণকর, আর যদি মুখ ফেরাও, তবে জেনে রেখো, আল্লাহকে তোমরা পরাভূত করতে পারবে না। আর কাফেরদেরকে মর্মান্তিক শাস্তির সুসংবাদ দাও।
And an announcement from Allah and His Messenger, to the people (assembled) on the day of the Great Pilgrimage,- that Allah and His Messenger dissolve (treaty) obligations with the Pagans. If then, ye repent, it were best for you; but if ye turn away, know ye that ye cannot frustrate Allah. And proclaim a grievous penalty to those who reject Faith. |

তারপর আল্লাহ নাযিল করেন নিজের পক্ষ থেকে সান্ত্বনা, তাঁর রসূল ও মুমিনদের প্রতি এবং অবতীর্ণ করেন এমন সেনাবাহিনী যাদের তোমরা দেখতে পাওনি। আর শাস্তি প্রদান করেন কাফেরদের এবং এটি হল কাফেরদের কর্মফল।
But Allah did pour His calm on the Messenger and on the Believers, and sent down forces which ye saw not: He punished the Unbelievers; thus doth He reward those without Faith. |

ইহুদীরা বলে ওযাইর আল্লাহর পুত্র এবং নাসারারা বলে ‘মসীহ আল্লাহর পুত্র’। এ হচ্ছে তাদের মুখের কথা। এরা পূর্ববর্তী কাফেরদের মত কথা বলে। আল্লাহ এদের ধ্বংস করুন, এরা কোন উল্টা পথে চলে যাচ্ছে।
The Jews call 'Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth! |

তারা তাদের মুখের ফুৎকারে আল্লাহর নূরকে নির্বাপিত করতে চায়। কিন্তু আল্লাহ অবশ্যই তাঁর নূরের পূর্ণতা বিধান করবেন, যদিও কাফেররা তা অপ্রীতিকর মনে করে।
Fain would they extinguish Allah's light with their mouths, but Allah will not allow but that His light should be perfected, even though the Unbelievers may detest (it). |

এই মাস পিছিয়ে দেয়ার কাজ কেবল কুফরীর মাত্রা বৃদ্ধি করে, যার ফলে কাফেরগণ গোমরাহীতে পতিত হয়। এরা হালাল করে নেয় একে এক বছর এবং হারাম করে নেয় অন্য বছর, যাতে তারা গণনা পূর্ণ করে নেয় আল্লাহর নিষিদ্ধ মাসগুলোর। অতঃপর হালাল করে নেয় আল্লাহর হারামকৃত মাসগুলোকে। তাদের মন্দকাজগুলো তাদের জন্যে শোভনীয় করে দেয়া হল। আর আল্লাহ কাফের সম্প্রদায়কে হেদায়েত করেন না।
Verily the transposing (of a prohibited month) is an addition to Unbelief: the Unbelievers are led to wrong thereby: for they make it lawful one year, and forbidden another year, in order to adjust the number of months forbidden by Allah and make such forbidden ones lawful. The evil of their course seems pleasing to them. But Allah guideth not those who reject Faith. |

যদি তোমরা তাকে (রসূলকে) সাহায্য না কর, তবে মনে রেখো, আল্লাহ তার সাহায্য করেছিলেন, যখন তাকে কাফেররা বহিষ্কার করেছিল, তিনি ছিলেন দু’জনের একজন, যখন তারা গুহার মধ্যে ছিলেন। তখন তিনি আপন সঙ্গীকে বললেন বিষন্ন হয়ো না, আল্লাহ আমাদের সাথে আছেন। অতঃপর আল্লাহ তার প্রতি স্বীয় সান্তনা নাযিল করলেন এবং তাঁর সাহায্যে এমন বাহিনী পাঠালেন, যা তোমরা দেখনি। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ কাফেরদের মাথা নীচু করে দিলেন আর আল্লাহর কথাই সদা সমুন্নত এবং আল্লাহ পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
If ye help not (your leader), (it is no matter): for Allah did indeed help him, when the Unbelievers drove him out: he had no more than one companion; they two were in the cave, and he said to his companion, "Have no fear, for Allah is with us": then Allah sent down His peace upon him, and strengthened him with forces which ye saw not, and humbled to the depths the word of the Unbelievers. But the word of Allah is exalted to the heights: for Allah is Exalted in might, Wise. |

আর তাদের কেউ বলে, আমাকে অব্যাহতি দিন এবং পথভ্রষ্ট করবেন না। শোনে রাখ, তারা তো পূর্ব থেকেই পথভ্রষ্ট এবং নিঃসন্দেহে জাহান্নাম এই কাফেরদের পরিবেষ্টন করে রয়েছে।
Among them is (many) a man who says: "Grant me exemption and draw me not into trial." Have they not fallen into trial already? and indeed Hell surrounds the Unbelievers (on all sides). |

ছলনা কর না, তোমরা যে কাফের হয়ে গেছ ঈমান প্রকাশ করার পর। তোমাদের মধ্যে কোন কোন লোককে যদি আমি ক্ষমা করে দেইও, তবে অবশ্য কিছু লোককে আযাবও দেব। কারণ, তারা ছিল গোনাহগার।
Make ye no excuses: ye have rejected Faith after ye had accepted it. If We pardon some of you, We will punish others amongst you, for that they are in sin. |

ওয়াদা করেছেন আল্লাহ, মুনাফেক পুরুষ ও মুনাফেক নারীদের এবং কাফেরদের জন্যে দোযখের আগুনের-তাতে পড়ে থাকবে সর্বদা। সেটাই তাদের জন্যে যথেষ্ট। আর আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি অভিসম্পাত করেছেন এবং তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে স্থায়ী আযাব।
Allah hath promised the Hypocrites men and women, and the rejecters, of Faith, the fire of Hell: Therein shall they dwell: Sufficient is it for them: for them is the curse of Allah, and an enduring punishment,- |

হে নবী, কাফেরদের সাথে যুদ্ধ করুন এবং মুনাফেকদের সাথে তাদের সাথে কঠোরতা অবলম্বন করুন। তাদের ঠিকানা হল দোযখ এবং তাহল নিকৃষ্ট ঠিকানা।
O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the Hypocrites, and be firm against them. Their abode is Hell,- an evil refuge indeed. |

আর বিস্মিত হয়ো না তাদের ধন সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্তুতির দরুন। আল্লাহ তো এই চান যে, এ সবের কারণে তাদেরকে আযাবের ভেতরে রাখবেন দুনিয়ায় এবং তাদের প্রাণ নির্গত হওয়া পর্যন্ত যেন তারা কাফেরই থাকে।
Nor let their wealth nor their (following in) sons dazzle thee: Allah's plan is to punish them with these things in this world, and that their souls may perish in their (very) denial of Allah. |

আর ছলনাকারী বেদুঈন লোকেরা এলো, যাতে তাদের অব্যাহতি লাভ হতে পারে এবং নিবৃত্ত থাকতে পারে তাদেরই যারা আল্লাহ ও রসূলের সাথে মিথ্যা বলে ছিল। এবার তাদের উপর শীগ্রই আসবে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব যারা কাফের।
And there were, among the desert Arabs (also), men who made excuses and came to claim exemption; and those who were false to Allah and His Messenger (merely) sat inactive. Soon will a grievous penalty seize the Unbelievers among them. |

মদীনাবাসী ও পাশ্ববর্তী পল্লীবাসীদের উচিত নয় রসূলুল্লাহর সঙ্গ ত্যাগ করে পেছনে থেকে যাওয়া এবং রসূলের প্রাণ থেকে নিজেদের প্রাণকে অধিক প্রিয় মনে করা। এটি এজন্য যে, আল্লাহর পথে যে তৃষ্ণা, ক্লান্তি ও ক্ষুধা তাদের স্পর্শ করে এবং তাদের এমন পদক্ষেপ যা কাফেরদের মনে ক্রোধের কারণ হয় আর শত্রুদের পক্ষ থেকে তারা যা কিছু প্রাপ্ত হয়-তার প্রত্যেকটির পরিবর্তে তাদের জন্য লিখিত হয়ে নেক আমল। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ সৎকর্মশীল লোকদের হক নষ্ট করেন না।
It was not fitting for the people of Medina and the Bedouin Arabs of the neighbourhood, to refuse to follow Allah's Messenger, nor to prefer their own lives to his: because nothing could they suffer or do, but was reckoned to their credit as a deed of righteousness,- whether they suffered thirst, or fatigue, or hunger, in the cause of Allah, or trod paths to raise the ire of the Unbelievers, or received any injury whatever from an enemy: for Allah suffereth not the reward to be lost of those who do good;- |

হে ঈমানদারগণ, তোমাদের নিকটবর্তী কাফেরদের সাথে যুদ্ধ চালিয়ে যাও এবং তারা তোমাদের মধ্যে কঠোরতা অনুভব করুক আর জেনে রাখ, আল্লাহ মুত্তাকীদের সাথে রয়েছেন।
O ye who believe! fight the unbelievers who gird you about, and let them find firmness in you: and know that Allah is with those who fear Him. |

আয়াতঃ ১২৩) |

বস্তুতঃ যাদের অন্তরে ব্যাধি রয়েছে এটি তাদের কলুষের সাথে আরো কলুষ বৃদ্ধি করেছে এবং তারা কাফের অবস্থায়ই মৃত্যু বরণ করলো।
But those in whose hearts is a disease,- it will add doubt to their doubt, and they will die in a state of Unbelief. |

আয়াতঃ ১২৫) |

মানুষের কাছে কি আশ্চর্য লাগছে যে, আমি ওহী পাঠিয়েছি তাদেরই মধ্য থেকে একজনের কাছে যেন তিনি মানুষকে সতর্ক করেন এবং সুসংবাদ শুনিয়ে দেন ঈমনাদারগণকে যে, তাঁদের জন্য সত্য মর্যাদা রয়েছে তাঁদের পালনকর্তার কাছে। কাফেররা বলতে লাগল, নিঃসন্দেহে এ লোক প্রকাশ্য যাদুকর।
Is it a matter of wonderment to men that We have sent Our inspiration to a man from among themselves?- that he should warn mankind (of their danger), and give the good news to the Believers that they have before their Lord the lofty rank of truth. (But) say the Unbelievers: "This is indeed an evident sorcerer!" |

তাঁর কাছেই ফিরে যেতে হবে তোমাদের সবাইকে, আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য, তিনিই সৃষ্টি করেন প্রথমবার আবার পুনর্বার তৈরী করবেন তাদেরকে বদলা দেয়ার জন্য যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং নেক কাজ করেছে ইনসাফের সাথে। আর যারা কাফের হয়েছে, তাদের পান করতে হবে ফুটন্ত পানি এবং ভোগ করতে হবে যন্ত্রনাদায়ক আযাব এ জন্যে যে, তারা কুফরী করছিল।
To Him will be your return- of all of you. The promise of Allah is true and sure. It is He Who beginneth the process of creation, and repeateth it, that He may reward with justice those who believe and work righteousness; but those who reject Him will have draughts of boiling fluids, and a penalty grievous, because they did reject Him. |

আর আমাদেরকে অনুগ্রহ করে ছাড়িয়ে দাও এই কাফেরদের কবল থেকে।
"And deliver us by Thy Mercy from those who reject (Thee)." |
(ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৮৬) |

তিনিই আসমান ও যমীন ছয় দিনে তৈরী করেছেন, তাঁর আরশ ছিল পানির উপরে, তিনি তোমাদেরকে পরীক্ষা করতে চান যে, তোমাদের মধ্যে কে সবচেয়ে ভাল কাজ করে। আর যদি আপনি তাদেরকে বলেন যে, "নিশ্চয় তোমাদেরকে মৃত্যুর পরে জীবিত ওঠানো হবে, তখন কাফেরেরা অবশ্য বলে এটা তো স্পষ্ট যাদু!";
He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days - and His Throne was over the waters - that He might try you, which of you is best in conduct. But if thou wert to say to them, "Ye shall indeed be raised up after death", the Unbelievers would be sure to say, "This is nothing but obvious sorcery!" |

তখন তাঁর কওমের কাফের প্রধানরা বলল আমরা তো আপনাকে আমাদের মত একজন মানুষ ব্যতীত আর কিছু মনে করি না; আর আমাদের মধ্যে যারা ইতর ও স্থুল-বুদ্ধিসম্পন্ন তারা ব্যতীত কাউকে তো আপনার আনুগত্য করতে দেখি না এবং আমাদের উপর আপনাদের কেন প্রাধান্য দেখি না, বরং আপনারা সবাই মিথ্যাবাদী বলে আমারা মনে করি।
But the chiefs of the Unbelievers among his people said: "We see (in) thee nothing but a man like ourselves: Nor do we see that any follow thee but the meanest among us, in judgment immature: Nor do we see in you (all) any merit above us: in fact we think ye are liars!" |

আয়াতঃ ২৭) |

আর নৌকাখানি তাদের বহন করে চলল পর্বত প্রমাণ তরঙ্গমালার মাঝে, আর নূহ (আঃ) তাঁর পুত্রকে ডাক দিলেন আর সে সরে রয়েছিল, তিনি বললেন, প্রিয় বৎস! আমাদের সাথে আরোহন কর এবং কাফেরদের সাথে থেকো না।
So the Ark floated with them on the waves (towering) like mountains, and Noah called out to his son, who had separated himself (from the rest): "O my son! embark with us, and be not with the unbelievers!" |

আয়াতঃ ৪২) |

আর নির্দেশ দেয়া হল-হে পৃথিবী! তোমার পানি গিলে ফেল, আর হে আকাশ, ক্ষান্ত হও। আর পানি হ্রাস করা হল এবং কাজ শেষ হয়ে গেল, আর জুদী পর্বতে নৌকা ভিড়ল এবং ঘোষনা করা হল, দুরাত্না কাফেররা নিপাত যাক।
Then the word went forth: "O earth! swallow up thy water, and O sky! Withhold (thy rain)!" and the water abated, and the matter was ended. The Ark rested on Mount Judi, and the word went forth: "Away with those who do wrong!" |

আয়াতঃ ৪৪) |

বৎসগণ! যাও, ইউসুফ ও তার ভাইকে তালাশ কর এবং আল্লাহর রহমত থেকে নিরাশ হয়ো না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর রহমত থেকে কাফের সম্প্রদায়, ব্যতীত অন্য কেউ নিরাশ হয় না।
"O my sons! go ye and enquire about Joseph and his brother, and never give up hope of Allah's Soothing Mercy: truly no one despairs of Allah's Soothing Mercy, except those who have no faith." |

কাফেররা বলেঃ তাঁর প্রতি তাঁর পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে কোন নিদর্শন অবতীর্ণ হল না কেন? আপনার কাজ তো ভয় প্রদর্শন করাই এবং প্রত্যেক সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে পথপ্রদর্শক হয়েছে।
And the Unbelievers say: "Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?" But thou art truly a warner, and to every people a guide. |

আয়াতঃ ৭) |

সত্যের আহবান একমাত্র তাঁরই এবং তাকে ছাড়া যাদেরকে ডাকে, তারা তাদের কোন কাজে আসে না; ওদের দৃষ্টান্ত সেরূপ, যেমন কেউ দু’ হাত পানির দিকে প্রসারিত করে যাতে পানি তার মুখে পৌঁছে যায়। অথচ পানি কোন সময় পৌঁছাবে না। কাফেরদের যত আহবান তার সবই পথভ্রষ্টতা।
For Him (alone) is prayer in Truth: any others that they call upon besides Him hear them no more than if they were to stretch forth their hands for water to reach their mouths but it reaches them not: for the prayer of those without Faith is nothing but (futile) wandering (in the mind). |

আয়াতঃ ১৪) |

কাফেররা বলেঃ তাঁর প্রতি তাঁর পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে কোন নিদর্শন কেন অবতীর্ণ হলো না? বলে দিন, আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা পথভ্রষ্ট করেন এবং যে, মনোনিবেশ করে, তাকে নিজের দিকে পথপ্রদর্শন করেন।
The Unbelievers say: "Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?" Say: "Truly Allah leaveth, to stray, whom He will; But He guideth to Himself those who turn to Him in penitence,- |

আয়াতঃ ২৭) |

যদি কোন কোরআন এমন হত, যার সাহায্যে পাহাড় চলমান হয় অথবা যমীন খন্ডিত হয় অথবা মৃতরা কথা বলে, তবে কি হত? বরং সব কাজ তো আল্লাহর হাতে। ঈমানদাররা কি এ ব্যাপারে নিশ্চিত নয় যে, যদি আল্লাহ চাইতেন, তবে সব মানুষকে সৎপথে পরিচালিত করতেন? কাফেররা তাদের কৃতকর্মের কারণে সব সময় আঘাত পেতে থাকবে অথবা তাদের গৃহের নিকটবর্তী স্থানে আঘাত নেমে আসবে, যে, পর্যন্ত আল্লাহর ওয়াদা না আসে। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ ওয়াদার খেলাফ করেন না।
If there were a Qur'an with which mountains were moved, or the earth were cloven asunder, or the dead were made to speak, (this would be the one!) But, truly, the command is with Allah in all things! Do not the Believers know, that, had Allah (so) willed, He could have guided all mankind (to the right)? But the Unbelievers,- never will disaster cease to seize them for their (ill) deeds, or to settle close to their homes, until the promise of Allah come to pass, for, verily, Allah will not fail in His promise. |

আপনার পূর্বে কত রাসূলের সাথে ঠাট্টা করা হয়েছে। অতঃপর আমি কাফেরদেরকে কিছু অবকাশ দিয়েছি। , এর পর তাদেরকে পাকড়াও করেছি। অতএব কেমন ছিল আমার শাস্তি।
Mocked were (many) messengers before thee: but I granted respite to the unbelievers, and finally I punished them: Then how (terrible) was my requital! |

ওরা প্রত্যেকেই কি মাথার উপর স্ব স্ব কৃতকর্ম নিয়ে দন্ডায়মান নয়? এবং তারা আল্লাহর জন্য অংশীদার সাব্যস্ত করে। বলুন; নাম বল অথবা খবর দাও পৃথিবীর এমন কিছু জিনিস সম্পর্কে যা তিনি জানেন না? অথবা অসার কথাবার্তা বলছ? বরং সুশোভিত করা হয়েছে কাফেরদের জন্যে তাদের প্রতারণাকে এবং তাদেরকে সৎপথ থেকে বাধা দান করা হয়েছে। আল্লাহ যাকে পথভ্রষ্ট করেন, তার কোন পথ প্রদর্শক নেই।
Is then He who standeth over every soul (and knoweth) all that it doth, (like any others)? And yet they ascribe partners to Allah. Say: "But name them! is it that ye will inform Him of something he knoweth not on earth, or is it (just) a show of words?" Nay! to those who believe not, their pretence seems pleasing, but they are kept back (thereby) from the path. And those whom Allah leaves to stray, no one can guide. |

আয়াতঃ ৩৩) |

পরহেযগারদের জন্যে প্রতিশ্রুত জান্নাতের অবস্থা এই যে, তার নিম্নে নির্ঝরিণীসমূহ প্রবাহিত হয়। তার ফলসমূহ চিরস্থায়ী এবং ছায়াও। এটা তাদের প্রতিদান, যারা সাবধান হয়েছে এবং কাফেরদের প্রতিফল অগ্নি।
The parable of the Garden which the righteous are promised!- beneath it flow rivers: perpetual is the enjoyment thereof and the shade therein: such is the end of the Righteous; and the end of Unbelievers in the Fire. |
(রা'দ:

তাদের পূর্বে যারা ছিল, তারা চক্রান্ত করেছে। আর সকল চক্রান্ত তো আল্লাহর হাতেই আছে। তিনি জানেন প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তি যা কিছু করে। কাফেররা জেনে নেবে যে, পর জীবনের আবাসস্থল কাদের জন্য রয়েছে।
Those before them did (also) devise plots; but in all things the master-planning is Allah's He knoweth the doings of every soul: and soon will the Unbelievers know who gets home in the end. |

আয়াতঃ ৪২) |

কাফেররা বলেঃ আপনি প্রেরিত ব্যক্তি নন। বলে দিন, আমার ও তোমাদের মধ্যে প্রকৃষ্ট সাক্ষী হচ্ছেন আল্লাহ এবং ঐ ব্যক্তি, যার কাছে গ্রন্থের জ্ঞান আছে।
The Unbelievers say: "No messenger art thou." Say: "Enough for a witness between me and you is Allah, and such as have knowledge of the Book." |

আয়াতঃ ৪৩) |

তিনি আল্লাহ; যিনি নভোমন্ডল ও ভূ-মন্ডলের সবকিছুর মালিক। কাফেরদের জন্যে বিপদ রয়েছে, কঠোর আযাব;
Of Allah, to Whom do belong all things in the heavens and on earth! But alas for the Unbelievers for a terrible penalty (their Unfaith will bring them)!- |

কাফেররা পয়গম্বরগণকে বলেছিলঃ আমরা তোমাদেরকে দেশ থেকে বের করে দেব অথবা তোমরা আমাদের ধর্মে ফিরে আসবে। তখন তাদের কাছে তাদের পালনকর্তা ওহী প্রেরণ করলেন যে, আমি জালিমদেরকে অবশ্যই ধ্বংস করে দেব।
And the Unbelievers said to their messengers: "Be sure we shall drive you out of our land, or ye shall return to our religion." But their Lord inspired (this Message) to them: "Verily We shall cause the wrong-doers to perish! |
(ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ১৩) |

কোন সময় কাফেররা আকাঙ্ক্ষা করবে যে, কি চমৎকার হত, যদি তারা মুসলমান হত।
Again and again will those who disbelieve, wish that they had bowed (to Allah's will) in Islam. |
(হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ২) |

অতঃপর কেয়ামতের দিন তিনি তাদেরকে লাঞ্ছিত করবেন এবং বলবেনঃ আমার অংশীদাররা কোথায়, যাদের ব্যাপারে তোমরা খুব হঠকারিতা করতে ? যারা জ্ঞানপ্রাপ্ত হয়েছিল তারা বলবেঃ নিশ্চয়ই আজকের দিনে লাঞ্ছনা ও দুর্গতি কাফেরদের জন্যে,
Then, on the Day of Judgment, He will cover them with shame, and say: "Where are My 'partners' concerning whom ye used to dispute (with the godly)?" Those endued with knowledge will say: "This Day, indeed, are the Unbelievers covered with shame and misery,- |

কাফেররা কি এখন অপেক্ষা করছে যে, তাদের কাছে ফেরেশতারা আসবে কিংবা আপনার পালনকর্তার নির্দেশ পৌছবে? তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা এমনই করেছিল। আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি অবিচার করেননি; কিন্তু তারা স্বয়ং নিজেদের প্রতি জুলুম করেছিল।
Do the (ungodly) wait until the angels come to them, or there comes the Command of thy Lord (for their doom)? So did those who went before them. But Allah wronged them not: nay, they wronged their own souls. |

আয়াতঃ ৩৩) |

তিনি পুনরুজ্জীবিত করবেনই, যাতে যে বিষয়ে তাদের মধ্যে মতানৈক্য ছিল তা প্রকাশ করা যায় এবং যাতে কাফেরেরা জেনে নেয় যে, তারা মিথ্যাবাদী ছিল।
(They must be raised up), in order that He may manifest to them the truth of that wherein they differ, and that the rejecters of Truth may realise that they had indeed (surrendered to) Falsehood. |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৩৯) |
| 137 |
যেদিন আমি প্রত্যেক উম্মত থেকে একজন বর্ণনাকারী দাঁড় করাব, তখন কাফেরদেরকে অনুমতি দেয়া হবে না এবং তাদের তওবা ও গ্রহণ করা হবে না।
One Day We shall raise from all Peoples a Witness: then will no excuse be accepted from Unbelievers, nor will they receive any favours. |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৮৪) |
| 138 |
যারা কাফের হয়েছে এবং আল্লাহর পথে বাধা সৃষ্টি করেছে, আমি তাদেরকে আযাবের পর আযাব বাড়িয়ে দেব। কারণ, তারা অশান্তি সৃষ্টি করত।
Those who reject Allah and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah - for them will We add Penalty to Penalty; for that they used to spread mischief. |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৮৮) |

হয়ত তোমাদের পালনকর্তা তোমাদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করবেন। কিন্তু যদি পুনরায় তদ্রূপ কর, আমিও পুনরায় তাই করব। আমি জাহান্নামকে কাফেরদের জন্যে কয়েদখানা করেছি।
It may be that your Lord may (yet) show Mercy unto you; but if ye revert (to your sins), We shall revert (to Our punishments): And we have made Hell a prison for those who reject (all Faith). |
(বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৮) |

আমি রাসূলগনকে সুসংবাদ দাতা ও ভয় প্রদর্শন কারীরূপেই প্রেরণ করি এবং কাফেররাই মিথ্যা অবলম্বনে বিতর্ক করে, তা দ্বারা সত্যকে ব্যর্থ করে দেয়ার উদ্দেশে এবং তারা আমার নিদর্শনাবলীও যদ্বারা তাদেরকে ভয় প্রদর্শন করা হয়, সেগুলোকে ঠাট্টারূপে গ্রহণ করেছে।
We only send the messengers to give Glad Tidings and to give warnings: But the unbelievers dispute with vain argument, in order therewith to weaken the truth, and they treat My Signs as a jest, as also the fact that they are warned! |

সেদিন আমি কাফেরদের কাছে জাহান্নামকে প্রত্যক্ষ ভাবে উপস্থিত করব।
And We shall present Hell that day for Unbelievers to see, all spread out,- |

কাফেররা কি মনে করে যে, তারা আমার পরিবর্তে আমার বান্দাদেরকে অভিভাবক রূপে গ্রহণ করবে? আমি কাফেরদের অভ্যর্থনার জন্যে জাহান্নামকে প্রস্তুত করে রেখেছি।
Do the Unbelievers think that they can take My servants as protectors besides Me? Verily We have prepared Hell for the Unbelievers for (their) entertainment. |
(কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ১০২) |
| 143 |
জাহান্নাম-এটাই তাদের প্রতিফল; কারণ, তারা কাফের হয়েছে এবং আমার নিদর্শনাবলী ও রসূলগণকে বিদ্রূপের বিষয় রূপে গ্রহণ করেছে।
That is their reward, Hell, because they rejected Faith, and took My Signs and My Messengers by way of jest. |
(কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ১০৬) |
| 144 |
অতঃপর তাদের মধ্যে দলগুলো পৃথক পৃথক পথ অবলম্বন করল। সুতরাং মহাদিবস আগমনকালে কাফেরদের জন্যে ধবংস।
But the sects differ among themselves: and woe to the unbelievers because of the (coming) Judgment of a Momentous Day! |

আয়াতঃ ৩৭) |

যখন তাদের কাছে আমার সুস্পষ্ট আয়াতসমূহ তেলাওয়াত করা হয়, তখন কাফেররা মুমিনদেরকে বলেঃ দুই দলের মধ্যে কোনটি মর্তবায় শ্রেষ্ঠ এবং কার মজলিস উত্তম?
When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?" |
(মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৭৩) |
| 146 |
আপনি কি লক্ষ্য করেননি যে, আমি কাফেরদের উপর শয়তানদেরকে ছেড়ে দিয়েছি। তারা তাদেরকে বিশেষভাবে (মন্দকর্মে) উৎসাহিত করে।
Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? |
(মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৮৩) |

কাফেররা কি ভেবে দেখে না যে, আকাশমন্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর মুখ বন্ধ ছিল, অতঃপর আমি উভয়কে খুলে দিলাম এবং প্রাণবন্ত সবকিছু আমি পানি থেকে সৃষ্টি করলাম। এরপরও কি তারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করবে না?
Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe? |

আয়াতঃ ৩০) |

কাফেররা যখন আপনাকে দেখে তখন আপনার সাথে ঠাট্টা করা ছাড়া তাদের আর কোন কাজ থাকে না, একি সেই ব্যক্তি, যে তোমাদের দেব-দেবীদের সমালোচনা করে? এবং তারাই তো রহমান’ এর আলোচনায় অস্বীকার করে।
When the Unbelievers see thee, they treat thee not except with ridicule. "Is this," (they say), "the one who talks of your gods?" and they blaspheme at the mention of (Allah) Most Gracious! |
(আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬) |

যদি কাফেররা ঐ সময়টি জানত, যখন তারা তাদের সম্মুখ ও পৃষ্ঠদেশ থেকে অগ্নি প্রতিরোধ করতে পারবে না এবং তারা সাহায্য প্রাপ্ত হবে না।
If only the Unbelievers knew (the time) when they will not be able to ward off the fire from their faces, nor yet from their backs, and (when) no help can reach them! |
(আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৩৯) |

আমোঘ প্রতিশ্রুত সময় নিকটবর্তী হলে কাফেরদের চক্ষু উচ্চে স্থির হয়ে যাবে; হায় আমাদের দূর্ভাগ্য, আমরা এ বিষয়ে বেখবর ছিলাম; বরং আমরা গোনাহগরই ছিলাম।
Then will the true promise draw nigh (of fulfilment): then behold! the eyes of the Unbelievers will fixedly stare in horror: "Ah! Woe to us! we were indeed heedless of this; nay, we truly did wrong!" |
(আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৯৭) |
| 151 |
এই দুই বাদী বিবাদী, তারা তাদের পালনকর্তা সম্পর্কে বিতর্ক করে। অতএব যারা কাফের, তাদের জন্যে আগুনের পোশাক তৈরী করা হয়েছে। তাদের মাথার উপর ফুটন্ত পানি ঢেলে দেয়া হবে।
These two antagonists dispute with each other about their Lord: But those who deny (their Lord),- for them will be cut out a garment of Fire: over their heads will be poured out boiling water. |
(হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ১৯) |
| 152 |
যুদ্ধে অনুমতি দেয়া হল তাদেরকে যাদের সাথে কাফেররা যুদ্ধ করে; কারণ তাদের প্রতি অত্যাচার করা হয়েছে। আল্লাহ তাদেরকে সাহায্য করতে অবশ্যই সক্ষম।
To those against whom war is made, permission is given (to fight), because they are wronged;- and verily, Allah is most powerful for their aid;- |

আয়াতঃ ৩৯) |

এবং মাদইয়ানের অধিবাসীরা এবং মিথ্যাবাদী বলা হয়েছিল মূসাকেও। অতঃপর আমি কাফেরদেরকে সুযোগ দিয়েছিলাম এরপর তাদেরকে পাকড়াও করেছিলাম অতএব কি ভীষণ ছিল আমাকে অস্বীকৃতির পরিণাম।
And the Companions of the Madyan People; and Moses was rejected (in the same way). But I granted respite to the Unbelievers, and (only) after that did I punish them: but how (terrible) was my rejection (of them)! |
(হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪) |

কাফেররা সর্বদাই সন্দেহ পোষন করবে যে পর্যন্ত না তাদের কাছে আকস্মিকভাবে কেয়ামত এসে পড়ে অথবা এসে পড়ে তাদের কাছে এমন দিবসের শাস্তি যা থেকে রক্ষার উপায় নেই।
Those who reject Faith will not cease to be in doubt concerning (Revelation) until the Hour (of Judgment) comes suddenly upon them, or there comes to them the Penalty of a Day of Disaster. |
(হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৫৫) |
| 155 |
যখন তাদের কাছে আমার সুস্পষ্ট আয়াতসমূহ আবৃত্তি করা হয়, তখন তুমি কাফেরদের চোখে মুখে অসন্তোষের লক্ষণ প্রত্যক্ষ করতে পারবে। যারা তাদের কাছে আমার আয়াত সমূহ পাঠ করে, তারা তাদের প্রতি মার মুখো হয়ে উঠে। বলুন, আমি কি তোমাদেরকে তদপেক্ষা মন্দ কিছুর সংবাদ দেব? তা আগুন; আল্লাহ কাফেরদেরকে এর ওয়াদা দিয়েছেন। এটা কতই না নিকৃষ্ট প্রত্যাবর্তনস্থল।
When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, thou wilt notice a denial on the faces of the Unbelievers! they nearly attack with violence those who rehearse Our Signs to them. Say, "Shall I tell you of something (far) worse than these Signs? It is the Fire (of Hell)! Allah has promised it to the Unbelievers! and evil is that destination!" |

আয়াতঃ ৭২) |

তখন তার সম্প্রদায়ের কাফের-প্রধানরা বলেছিলঃ এ তো তোমাদের মতই একজন মানুষ বৈ নয়। সে তোমাদের উপর নেতৃত্ব করতে চায়। আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা করলে ফেরেশতাই নাযিল করতেন। আমরা আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের মধ্যে এরূপ কথা শুনিনি।
The chiefs of the Unbelievers among his people said: "He is no more than a man like yourselves: his wish is to assert his superiority over you: if Allah had wished (to send messengers), He could have sent down angels; never did we hear such a thing (as he says), among our ancestors of old." |
(আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ২৪) |
| 157 |
তাঁর সম্প্রদায়ের প্রধানরা যারা কাফের ছিল, পরকালের সাক্ষাতকে মিথ্যা বলত এবং যাদেরকে আমি পার্থিব জীবনে সুখ-স্বাচ্ছন্দ্য দিয়েছিলাম, তারা বললঃ এতো আমাদের মতই একজন মানুষ বৈ নয়। তোমরা যা খাও, সেও তাই খায় এবং তোমরা যা পান কর, সেও তাই পান করে।
And the chiefs of his people, who disbelieved and denied the Meeting in the Hereafter, and on whom We had bestowed the good things of this life, said: "He is no more than a man like yourselves: he eats of that of which ye eat, and drinks of what ye drink. |
(আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩) |

যে কেউ আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য উপাস্যকে ডাকে, তার কাছে যার সনদ নেই, তার হিসাব তার পালণকর্তার কাছে আছে। নিশ্চয় কাফেররা সফলকাম হবে না।
If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! |
(আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ১১৭) |

যারা কাফের, তাদের কর্ম মরুভুমির মরীচিকা সদৃশ, যাকে পিপাসার্ত ব্যক্তি পানি মনে করে। এমনকি, সে যখন তার কাছে যায়, তখন কিছুই পায় না এবং পায় সেখানে আল্লাহকে, অতঃপর আল্লাহ তার হিসাব চুকিয়ে দেন। আল্লাহ দ্রুত হিসাব গ্রহণকারী।
But the Unbelievers,- their deeds are like a mirage in sandy deserts, which the man parched with thirst mistakes for water; until when he comes up to it, he finds it to be nothing: But he finds Allah (ever) with him, and Allah will pay him his account: and Allah is swift in taking account. |
(আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ৩৯) |
| 160 |
তোমরা কাফেরদেরকে পৃথিবীতে পরাক্রমশালী মনে করো না। তাদের ঠিকানা অগ্নি। কতই না নিকৃষ্ট এই প্রত্যাবর্তনস্থল।
Never think thou that the Unbelievers are going to frustrate (Allah's Plan) on earth: their abode is the Fire,- and it is indeed an evil refuge! |
(আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ৫৭) |
| 161 |
কাফেররা বলে, এটা মিথ্যা বৈ নয়, যা তিনি উদ্ভাবন করেছেন এবং অন্য লোকেরা তাঁকে সাহায্য করেছে। অবশ্যই তারা অবিচার ও মিথ্যার আশ্রয় নিয়েছে।
But the misbelievers say: "Naught is this but a lie which he has forged, and others have helped him at it." In truth it is they who have put forward an iniquity and a falsehood. |
(আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৪) |

সেদিন সত্যিকার রাজত্ব হবে দয়াময় আল্লাহর এবং কাফেরদের পক্ষে দিনটি হবে কঠিন।
That Day, the dominion as of right and truth, shall be (wholly) for (Allah) Most Merciful: it will be a Day of dire difficulty for the misbelievers. |
(আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ২৬) |

অতএব আপনি কাফেরদের আনুগত্য করবেন না এবং তাদের সাথে এর সাহায্যে কঠোর সংগ্রাম করুন।
Therefore listen not to the Unbelievers, but strive against them with the utmost strenuousness, with the (Qur'an). |
(আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৫২) |
| 164 |
তারা এবাদত করে আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে এমন কিছুর, যা তাদের উপকার করতে পারে না এবং ক্ষতিও করতে পারে না। কাফের তো তার পালনকর্তার প্রতি পৃষ্ঠপ্রদর্শনকারী।
Yet do they worship, besides Allah, things that can neither profit them nor harm them: and the Misbeliever is a helper (of Evil), against his own Lord! |
(আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৫৫) |
| 165 |
আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে সে যার এবাদত করত, সেই তাকে ঈমান থেকে নিবৃত্ত করেছিল। নিশ্চয় সে কাফের সম্প্রদায়ের অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিল।
And he diverted her from the worship of others besides Allah: for she was (sprung) of a people that had no faith. |
(নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৪৩) |

কাফেররা বলে, যখন আমরা ও আমাদের বাপ-দাদারা মৃত্তিকা হয়ে যাব, তখনও কি আমাদেরকে পুনরুত্থিত করা হবে?
The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)? |
(নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৬৭) |
| 167 |
গতকল্য যারা তার মত হওয়ার বাসনা প্রকাশ করেছিল, তারা প্রত্যুষে বলতে লাগল, হায়, আল্লাহ তাঁর বান্দাদের মধ্যে যার জন্যে ইচ্ছা রিযিক বর্ধিত করেন ও হ্রাস করেন। আল্লাহ আমাদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ না করলে আমাদেরকেও ভূগর্ভে বিলীন করে দিতেন। হায়, কাফেররা সফলকাম হবে না।
And those who had envied his position the day before began to say on the morrow: "Ah! it is indeed Allah Who enlarges the provision or restricts it, to any of His servants He pleases! had it not been that Allah was gracious to us, He could have caused the earth to swallow us up! Ah! those who reject Allah will assuredly never prosper." |
(আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৮২) |

আপনি আশা করতেন না যে, আপনার প্রতি কিতাব অবর্তীর্ণ হবে। এটা কেবল আপনার পালনকর্তার রহমত। অতএব আপনি কাফেরদের সাহায্যকারী হবেন না।
And thou hadst not expected that the Book would be sent to thee except as a Mercy from thy Lord: Therefore lend not thou support in any way to those who reject (Allah's Message). |
(আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৮৬) |

কাফেররা যেন আপনাকে আল্লাহর আয়াত থেকে বিমুখ না করে সেগুলো আপনার প্রতি অবর্তীর্ণ হওয়ার পর আপনি আপনার পালনকর্তার প্রতি দাওয়াত দিন এবং কিছুতেই মুশরিকদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হবেন না।
And let nothing keep thee back from the Signs of Allah after they have been revealed to thee: and invite (men) to thy Lord, and be not of the company of those who join gods with Allah. |
(আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৮৭) |

কাফেররা মুমিনদেরকে বলে, আমাদের পথ অনুসরণ কর। আমরা তোমাদের পাপভার বহন করব। অথচ তারা পাপভার কিছুতেই বহন করবে না। নিশ্চয় তারা মিথ্যাবাদী।
And the Unbelievers say to those who believe: "Follow our path, and we will bear (the consequences) of your faults." Never in the least will they bear their faults: in fact they are liars! |
(আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ১২) |

এভাবেই আমি আপনার প্রতি কিতাব অবর্তীণ করেছি। অতঃপর যাদের কে আমি কিতাব দিয়েছিলাম, তারা একে মেনে চলে এবং এদেরও (মক্কাবাসীদেরও) কেউ কেউ এতে বিশ্বাস রাখে। কেবল কাফেররাই আমার আয়াতসমূহ অস্বীকার করে।
And thus (it is) that We have sent down the Book to thee. So the People of the Book believe therein, as also do some of these (pagan Arabs): and none but Unbelievers reject our signs. |
(আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৪৭) |

তারা আপনাকে আযাব ত্বরান্বিত করতে বলে; অথচ জাহান্নাম কাফেরদেরকে ঘেরাও করছে।
They ask thee to hasten on the Punishment: but, of a surety, Hell will encompass the Rejecters of Faith!- |
(আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৫৪) |

যে আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে মিথ্যা কথা গড়ে অথবা তার কাছে সত্য আসার পর তাকে অস্বীকার করে, তার কি স্মরণ রাখা উচিত নয় যে, জাহান্নামই সেসব কাফেরের আশ্রয়স্থল হবে?
And who does more wrong than he who invents a lie against Allah or rejects the Truth when it reaches him? Is there not a home in Hell for those who reject Faith? |
(আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৬৮) |

আর যারা কাফের এবং আমার আয়াতসমূহ ও পরকালের সাক্ষাতকারকে মিথ্যা বলছে, তাদেরকেই আযাবের মধ্যে উপস্থিত করা হবে।
And those who have rejected Faith and falsely denied our Signs and the meeting of the Hereafter,- such shall be brought forth to Punishment. |
(আর-রূম:
আয়াতঃ ১৬) |

যারা বিশ্বাস করেছে ও সৎকর্ম করেছে যাতে, আল্লাহ তা’আলা তাদেরকে নিজ অনুগ্রহে প্রতিদান দেন। নিশ্চয় তিনি কাফেরদের ভালবাসেন না।
That He may reward those who believe and work righteous deeds, out of his Bounty. For He loves not those who reject Faith. |
(আর-রূম:

আমি এই কোরআনে মানুষের জন্য সর্বপ্রকার দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছি। আপনি যদি তাদের কাছে কোন নিদর্শন উপস্থিত করেন, তবে কাফেররা অবশ্যই বলবে, তোমরা সবাই মিথ্যাপন্থী।
verily We have propounded for men, in this Qur'an every kind of Parable: But if thou bring to them any Sign, the Unbelievers are sure to say, "Ye do nothing but talk vanities." |
(আর-রূম:
আয়াতঃ ৫৮) |
| 177 |
বলুন, ফয়সালার দিনে কাফেরদের ঈমান তাদের কোন কাজে আসবে না এবং তাদেরকে অবকাশ ও দেয়া হবে না।
Say: "On the Day of Decision, no profit will it be to Unbelievers if they (then) believe! nor will they be granted a respite." |
(সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৯) |

হে নবী! আল্লাহকে ভয় করুন এবং কাফের ও কপট বিশ্বাসীদের কথা মানবেন না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সর্বজ্ঞ, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
O Prophet! Fear Allah, and hearken not to the Unbelievers and the Hypocrites: verily Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom. |

সত্যবাদীদেরকে তাদের সত্যবাদিতা সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞাসা করার জন্য। তিনি কাফেরদের জন্য যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি প্রস্তুত রেখেছেন।
That (Allah) may question the (custodians) of Truth concerning the Truth they (were charged with): And He has prepared for the Unbelievers a grievous Penalty. |

আয়াতঃ ৮) |

আল্লাহ কাফেরদেরকে ক্রুদ্ধাবস্থায় ফিরিয়ে দিলেন। তারা কোন কল্যাণ পায়নি। যুদ্ধ করার জন্য আল্লাহ মুমিনদের জন্যে যথেষ্ট হয়ে গেছেন। আল্লাহ শক্তিধর, পরাক্রমশালী।
And Allah turned back the Unbelievers for (all) their fury: no advantage did they gain; and enough is Allah for the believers in their fight. And Allah is full of Strength, able to enforce His Will. |
(আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ২৫) |

কিতাবীদের মধ্যে যারা কাফেরদের পৃষ্টপোষকতা করেছিল, তাদেরকে তিনি তাদের দূর্গ থেকে নামিয়ে দিলেন এবং তাদের অন্তরে ভীতি নিক্ষেপ করলেন। ফলে তোমরা একদলকে হত্যা করছ এবং একদলকে বন্দী করছ।
And those of the People of the Book who aided them - Allah did take them down from their strongholds and cast terror into their hearts. (So that) some ye slew, and some ye made prisoners. |
(আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ২৬) |
| 182 |
আপনি কাফের ও মুনাফিকদের আনুগত্য করবেন না এবং তাদের উৎপীড়ন উপেক্ষা করুন ও আল্লাহর উপর ভরসা করুন। আল্লাহ কার্যনিবার্হীরূপে যথেষ্ট।
And obey not (the behests) of the Unbelievers and the Hypocrites, and heed not their annoyances, but put thy Trust in Allah. For enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs. |
(আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ৪৮) |

নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ কাফেরদেরকে অভিসম্পাত করেছেন এবং তাদের জন্যে জ্বলন্ত অগ্নি প্রস্তুত রেখেছেন।
Verily Allah has cursed the Unbelievers and prepared for them a Blazing Fire,- |

আয়াতঃ ৬৪) |

কাফেররা বলে আমাদের উপর কেয়ামত আসবে না। বলুন কেন আসবে না? আমার পালনকর্তার শপথ-অবশ্যই আসবে। তিনি অদৃশ্য সম্পর্কে জ্ঞাত। নভোমন্ডলে ও ভূ-মন্ডলে তাঁর আগোচরে নয় অণু পরিমাণ কিছু, না তদপেক্ষা ক্ষুদ্র এবং না বৃহৎ-সমস্তই আছে সুস্পষ্ট কিতাবে।
The Unbelievers say, "Never to us will come the Hour": Say, "Nay! but most surely, by my Lord, it will come upon you;- by Him Who knows the unseen,- from Whom is not hidden the least little atom in the heavens or on earth: Nor is there anything less than that, or greater, but is in the Record Perspicuous: |

কাফেররা বলে, আমরা কি তোমাদেরকে এমন ব্যক্তির সন্ধান দেব, যে তোমাদেরকে খবর দেয় যে; তোমরা সম্পুর্ণ ছিন্ন-বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ে গেলেও তোমরা নতুন সৃজিত হবে।
The Unbelievers say (in ridicule): "Shall we point out to you a man that will tell you, when ye are all scattered to pieces in disintegration, that ye shall (then be raised) in a New Creation? |

কাফেররা বলে, আমরা কখনও এ কোরআনে বিশ্বাস করব না এবং এর পূর্ববর্তী কিতাবেও নয়। আপনি যদি পাপিষ্ঠদেরকে দেখতেন, যখন তাদেরকে তাদের পালনকর্তার সামনে দাঁড় করানো হবে, , তখন তারা পরস্পর কথা কাটাকাটি করবে। যাদেরকে দুর্বল মনে করা হত, তারা অহংকারীদেরকে বলবে, তোমরা না থাকলে আমরা অবশ্যই মুমিন হতাম।
The Unbelievers say: "We shall neither believe in this scripture nor in (any) that (came) before it." Couldst thou but see when the wrong-doers will be made to stand before their Lord, throwing back the word (of blame) on one another! Those who had been despised will say to the arrogant ones: "Had it not been for you, we should certainly have been believers!" |

আয়াতঃ ৩১) |

দুর্বলরা অহংকারীদেরকে বলবে, বরং তোমরাই তো দিবারাত্রি চক্রান্ত করে আমাদেরকে নির্দেশ দিতে যেন আমরা আল্লাহকে না মানি এবং তাঁর অংশীদার সাব্যস্ত করি তারা যখন শাস্তি দেখবে, তখন মনের অনুতাপ মনেই রাখবে। বস্তুতঃ আমি কাফেরদের গলায় বেড়ী পরাব। তারা সে প্রতিফলই পেয়ে থাকে যা তারা করত।
Those who had been despised will say to the arrogant ones: "Nay! it was a plot (of yours) by day and by night: Behold! Ye (constantly) ordered us to be ungrateful to Allah and to attribute equals to Him!" They will declare (their) repentance when they see the Penalty: We shall put yokes on the necks of the Unbelievers: It would only be a requital for their (ill) Deeds. |

আয়াতঃ ৩৩) |
| 188 |
যখন তাদের কাছে আমার সুস্পষ্ট আয়াত সমূহ তেলাওয়াত করা হয়, তখন তারা বলে, তোমাদের বাপ-দাদারা যার এবাদত করত এ লোকটি যে তা থেকে তোমাদেরকে বাধা দিতে চায়। তারা আরও বলে, এটা মনগড়া মিথ্যা বৈ নয়। আর কাফেরদের কাছে যখন সত্য আগমন করে, তখন তারা বলে, এতো এক সুস্পষ্ট যাদু।
When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, they say, "This is only a man who wishes to hinder you from the (worship) which your fathers practised." And they say, "This is only a falsehood invented!" and the Unbelievers say of the Truth when it comes to them, "This is nothing but evident magic!" |

অতঃপর আমি কাফেরদেরকে ধৃত করেছিলাম। কেমন ছিল আমার আযাব!
In the end did I punish those who rejected Faith: and how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)! |
(ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ২৬) |
| 190 |
আর যারা কাফের হয়েছে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে জাহান্নামের আগুন। তাদেরকে মৃত্যুর আদেশও দেয়া হবে না যে, তারা মরে যাবে এবং তাদের থেকে তার শাস্তিও লাঘব করা হবে না। আমি প্রত্যেক অকৃতজ্ঞকে এভাবেই শাস্তি দিয়ে থাকি।
But those who reject (Allah) - for them will be the Fire of Hell: No term shall be determined for them, so they should die, nor shall its Penalty be lightened for them. Thus do We reward every ungrateful one! |
(ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬) |

তিনিই তোমাদেরকে পৃথিবীতে স্বীয় প্রতিনিধি করেছেন। অতএব যে কুফরী করবে তার কুফরী তার উপরই বর্তাবে। কাফেরদের কুফর কেবল তাদের পালনকর্তার ক্রোধই বৃদ্ধি করে এবং কাফেরদের কুফর কেবল তাদের ক্ষতিই বৃদ্ধি করে।
He it is That has made you inheritors in the earth: if, then, any do reject (Allah), their rejection (works) against themselves: their rejection but adds to the odium for the Unbelievers in the sight of their Lord: their rejection but adds to (their own) undoing. |
(ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ৩৯) |
| 192 |
যখন তাদেরকে বলা হয়, আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে যা দিয়েছেন, তা থেকে ব্যয় কর। তখন কাফেররা মুমিনগণকে বলে, ইচ্ছা করলেই আল্লাহ যাকে খাওয়াতে পারতেন, আমরা তাকে কেন খাওয়াব? তোমরা তো স্পষ্ট বিভ্রান্তিতে পতিত রয়েছ।
And when they are told, "Spend ye of (the bounties) with which Allah has provided you," the Unbelievers say to those who believe: "Shall we then feed those whom, if Allah had so willed, He would have fed, (Himself)?- Ye are in nothing but manifest error." |
(ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ৪৭) |

যাতে তিনি সতর্ক করেন জীবিতকে এবং যাতে কাফেরদের বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়।
That it may give admonition to any (who are) alive, and that the charge may be proved against those who reject (Truth). |
(ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ৭০) |
| 194 |
কাফেররা একে ভক্ষণ করবে এবং এর দ্বারা উদর পূর্ণ করবে।
Truly they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. |
(আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ৬৬) |

বরং যারা কাফের, তারা অহংকার ও বিরোধিতায় লিপ্ত।
But the Unbelievers (are steeped) in self-glory and Separatism. |
(ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ২) |
| 196 |
তারা বিস্ময়বোধ করে যে, তাদেরই কাছে তাদের মধ্যে থেকে একজন সতর্ককারী আগমন করেছেন। আর কাফেররা বলে এ-তো এক মিথ্যাচারী যাদুকর।
So they wonder that a Warner has come to them from among themselves! and the Unbelievers say, "This is a sorcerer telling lies! |
(ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ৪) |
| 197 |
আমি আসমান-যমীন ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী কোন কিছু অযথা সৃষ্টি করিনি। এটা কাফেরদের ধারণা। অতএব, কাফেরদের জন্যে রয়েছে দূর্ভোগ অর্থাৎ জাহান্নাম।
Not without purpose did We create heaven and earth and all between! that were the thought of Unbelievers! but woe to the Unbelievers because of the Fire (of Hell)! |

আয়াতঃ ২৭) |
| 198 |
আমি কি বিশ্বাসী ও সৎকর্মীদেরকে পৃথিবীতে বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টিকারী কাফেরদের সমতুল্য করে দেব? না খোদাভীরুদেরকে পাপাচারীদের সম্মান করে দেব।
Shall We treat those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, the same as those who do mischief on earth? Shall We treat those who guard against evil, the same as those who turn aside from the right? |
(ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ২৮) |
| 199 |
জেনে রাখুন, নিষ্ঠাপূর্ণ এবাদত আল্লাহরই নিমিত্ত। যারা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত অপরকে উপাস্যরূপে গ্রহণ করে রেখেছে এবং বলে যে, আমরা তাদের এবাদত এ জন্যেই করি, যেন তারা আমাদেরকে আল্লাহর নিকটবর্তী করে দেয়। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তাদের মধ্যে তাদের পারস্পরিক বিরোধপূর্ণ বিষয়ের ফয়সালা করে দেবেন। আল্লাহ মিথ্যাবাদী কাফেরকে সৎপথে পরিচালিত করেন না।
Is it not to Allah that sincere devotion is due? But those who take for protectors other than Allah (say): "We only serve them in order that they may bring us nearer to Allah." Truly Allah will judge between them in that wherein they differ. But Allah guides not such as are false and ungrateful. |
(আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৩) |
| 200 |
যদি তোমরা অস্বীকার কর, তবে আল্লাহ তোমাদের থেকে বেপরওয়া। তিনি তাঁর বান্দাদের কাফের হয়ে পড়া পছন্দ করেন না। পক্ষান্তরে যদি তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞ হও, তবে তিনি তোমাদের জন্যে তা পছন্দ করেন। একের পাপ ভার অন্যে বহন করবে না। অতঃপর তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার কাছে ফিরে যাবে। তিনি তোমাদেরকে তোমাদের কর্ম সম্বন্ধে অবহিত করবেন। নিশ্চয় তিনি অন্তরের বিষয় সম্পর্কেও অবগত।
If ye reject (Allah), Truly Allah hath no need of you; but He liketh not ingratitude from His servants: if ye are grateful, He is pleased with you. No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another. In the end, to your Lord is your Return, when He will tell you the truth of all that ye did (in this life). for He knoweth well all that is in (men's) hearts. |
(আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৭) |
| 201 |
যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর বিরুদ্ধে মিথ্যা বলে এবং তার কাছে সত্য আগমন করার পর তাকে মিথ্যা সাব্যস্ত করে, তার চেয়ে অধিক যালেম আর কে হবে? কাফেরদের বাসস্থান জাহান্নামে নয় কি?
Who, then, doth more wrong than one who utters a lie concerning Allah, and rejects the Truth when it comes to him; is there not in Hell an abode for blasphemers? |
(আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৩২) |

হাঁ, তোমার কাছে আমার নির্দেশ এসেছিল; অতঃপর তুমি তাকে মিথ্যা বলেছিলে, অহংকার করেছিলে এবং কাফেরদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত হয়ে গিয়েছিলে।
"(The reply will be:) 'Nay, but there came to thee my Signs, and thou didst reject them: thou wast Haughty, and became one of those who reject faith!'" |
(আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৫৯) |

কাফেরদেরকে জাহান্নামের দিকে দলে দলে হাঁকিয়ে নেয়া হবে। তারা যখন সেখানে পৌছাবে, তখন তার দরজাসমূহ খুলে দেয়া হবে এবং জাহান্নামের রক্ষীরা তাদেরকে বলবে, তোমাদের কাছে কি তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে পয়গম্বর আসেনি, যারা তোমাদের কাছে তোমাদের পালনকর্তার আয়াতসমূহ আবৃত্তি করত এবং সতর্ক করত এ দিনের সাক্ষাতের ব্যাপারে? তারা বলবে, হঁ্যা, কিন্তু কাফেরদের প্রতি শাস্তির হুকুমই বাস্তবায়িত হয়েছে।
The Unbelievers will be led to Hell in crowd: until, when they arrive, there, its gates will be opened. And its keepers will say, "Did not messengers come to you from among yourselves, rehearsing to you the Signs of your Lord, and warning you of the Meeting of This Day of yours?" The answer will be: "True: but the Decree of Punishment has been proved true against the Unbelievers!" |
(আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৭১) |

কাফেররাই কেবল আল্লাহর আয়াত সম্পর্কে বিতর্ক করে। কাজেই নগরীসমূহে তাদের বিচরণ যেন আপনাকে বিভ্রান্তিতে না ফেলে।
None can dispute about the Signs of Allah but the Unbelievers. Let not, then, their strutting about through the land deceive thee! |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৪) |
| 205 |
এভাবে কাফেরদের বেলায় আপনার পালনকর্তার এ বাক্য সত্য হল যে, তারা জাহান্নামী।
Thus was the Decree of thy Lord proved true against the Unbelievers; that truly they are Companions of the Fire! |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৬) |
| 206 |
যারা কাফের তাদেরকে উচ্চঃস্বরে বলা হবে, তোমাদের নিজেদের প্রতি তোমাদের আজকের এ ক্ষোভ অপেক্ষা আল্লার ক্ষোভ অধিক ছিল, যখন তোমাদেরকে ঈমান আনতে বলা হয়েছিল, অতঃপর তোমরা কুফরী করছিল।
The Unbelievers will be addressed: "Greater was the aversion of Allah to you than (is) your aversion to yourselves, seeing that ye were called to the Faith and ye used to refuse." |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ১০) |
| 207 |
তোমাদের এ বিপদ এ কারণে যে, যখন এক আল্লাহকে ডাকা হত, তখন তোমরা কাফের হয়ে যেতে যখন তার সাথে শরীককে ডাকা হত তখন তোমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করতে। এখন আদেশ তাই, যা আল্লাহ করবেন, যিনি সর্বোচ্চ, মহান।
(The answer will be:) "This is because, when Allah was invoked as the Only (object of worship), ye did reject Faith, but when partners were joined to Him, ye believed! the Command is with Allah, Most High, Most Great!" |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ১২) |
| 208 |
অতএব, তোমরা আল্লাহকে খাঁটি বিশ্বাস সহকারে ডাক, যদিও কাফেররা তা অপছন্দ করে।
Call ye, then, upon Allah with sincere devotion to Him, even though the Unbelievers may detest it. |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ১৪) |
| 209 |
এর কারণ এই যে, তাদের কাছে তাদের রসূলগণ সুস্পষ্ট নিদর্শনাবলী নিয়ে আগমন করত, অতঃপর তারা কাফের হয়ে যায়, তখন আল্লাহ তাদের ধৃত করেন। নিশ্চয় তিনি শক্তিধর, কঠোর শাস্তিদাতা।
That was because there came to them their messengers with Clear (Signs), but they rejected them: So Allah called them to account: for He is Full of Strength, Strict in Punishment. |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ২২) |

অতঃপর মূসা যখন আমার কাছ থেকে সত্যসহ তাদের কাছে পৌঁছাল; তখন তারা বলল, যারা তার সঙ্গী হয়ে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছে, তাদের পুত্র সন্তানদেরকে হত্যা কর, আর তাদের নারীদেরকে জীবিত রাখ। কাফেরদের চক্রান্ত ব্যর্থই হয়েছে।
Now, when he came to them in Truth, from Us, they said, "Slay the sons of those who believe with him, and keep alive their females," but the plots of Unbelievers (end) in nothing but errors (and delusions)!... |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ২৫) |
| 211 |
রক্ষীরা বলবে, তোমাদের কাছে কি সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণাদিসহ তোমাদের রসূল আসেননি? তারা বলবে হঁ্যা। রক্ষীরা বলবে, তবে তোমরাই দোয়া কর। বস্তুতঃ কাফেরদের দোয়া নিস্ফলই হয়।
They will say: "Did there not come to you your messengers with Clear Signs?" They will say, "Yes". They will reply, "Then pray (as ye like)! But the prayer of those without Faith is nothing but (futile wandering) in (mazes of) error!" |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৫০) |
| 212 |
আল্লাহ ব্যতীত? তারা বলবে, তারা আমাদের কাছ থেকে উধাও হয়ে গেছে; বরং আমরা তো ইতিপূর্বে কোন কিছুর পূজাই করতাম না। এমনি ভাবে আল্লাহ কাফেরদেরকে বিভ্রান্ত করেন।
"In derogation of Allah?" They will reply: "They have left us in the lurch: Nay, we invoked not, of old, anything (that had real existence)." Thus does Allah leave the Unbelievers to stray. |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৭৪) |
| 213 |
অতএব আপনি সবর করুন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য। অতঃপর আমি কাফেরদেরকে যে শাস্তির ওয়াদা দেই, তার কিয়দংশ যদি আপনাকে দেখিয়ে দেই অথবা আপনার প্রাণ হরণ করে নেই, সর্বাবস্থায় তারা তো আমারই কাছে ফিরে আসবে।
So persevere in patience; for the Promise of Allah is true: and whether We show thee (in this life) some part of what We promise them,- or We take thy soul (to Our Mercy) (before that),-(in any case) it is to Us that they shall (all) return. |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৭৭) |
| 214 |
অতঃপর তাদের এ ঈমান তাদের কোন উপকারে আসল না যখন তারা শাস্তি প্রত্যক্ষ করল। আল্লাহর এ নিয়মই পূর্ব থেকে তাঁর বান্দাদের মধ্যে প্রচলিত হয়েছে। সেক্ষেত্রে কাফেররা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়।
But their professing the Faith when they (actually) saw Our Punishment was not going to profit them. (Such has been) Allah's Way of dealing with His Servants (from the most ancient times). And even thus did the Rejecters of Allah perish (utterly)! |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৮৫) |
| 215 |
আর কাফেররা বলে, তোমরা এ কোরআন শ্রবণ করো না এবং এর আবৃত্তিতে হঞ্জগোল সৃষ্টি কর, যাতে তোমরা জয়ী হও।
The Unbelievers say: "Listen not to this Qur'an, but talk at random in the midst of its (reading), that ye may gain the upper hand!" |
(হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৬) |
| 216 |
আমি অবশ্যই কাফেরদেরকে কঠিন আযাব আস্বাদন করাব এবং আমি অবশ্যই তাদেরকে তাদের মন্দ ও হীন কাজের প্রতিফল দেব।
But We will certainly give the Unbelievers a taste of a severe Penalty, and We will requite them for the worst of their deeds. |
(হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৭) |
| 217 |
কাফেররা বলবে, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! যেসব জিন ও মানুষ আমাদেরকে পথভ্রষ্ট করেছিল, তাদেরকে দেখিয়ে দাও, আমরা তাদেরকে পদদলিত করব, যাতে তারা যথেষ্ট অপমানিত হয়।
And the Unbelievers will say: "Our Lord! Show us those, among Jinns and men, who misled us: We shall crush them beneath our feet, so that they become the vilest (before all)." |
(হা-মীম সেজদাহ:

বিপদাপদ স্পর্শ করার পর আমি যদি তাকে আমার অনুগ্রহ আস্বাদন করাই, তখন সে বলতে থাকে, এটা যে আমার যোগ্য প্রাপ্য; আমি মনে করি না যে, কেয়ামত সংঘটিত হবে। আমি যদি আমার পালনকর্তার কাছে ফিরে যাই, তবে অবশ্যই তার কাছে আমার জন্য কল্যাণ রয়েছে। অতএব, আমি কাফেরদেরকে তাদের কর্ম সম্পর্কে অবশ্যই অবহিত করব এবং তাদেরকে অবশ্যই আস্বাদন করাব কঠিন শাস্তি।
When we give him a taste of some Mercy from Ourselves, after some adversity has touched him, he is sure to say, "This is due to my (merit): I think not that the Hour (of Judgment) will (ever) be established; but if I am brought back to my Lord, I have (much) good (stored) in His sight!" But We will show the Unbelievers the truth of all that they did, and We shall give them the taste of a severe Penalty. |

আপনি কাফেরদেরকে তাদের কৃতকর্মের জন্যে ভীতসন্ত্রস্ত দেখবেন। তাদের কর্মের শাস্তি অবশ্যই তাদের উপর পতিত হবে। আর যারা মুমিন ও সৎকর্মী, তারা জান্নাতের উদ্যানে থাকবে। তারা যা চাইবে, তাই তাদের জন্যে তাদের পালনকর্তার কাছে রয়েছে। এটাই বড় পুরস্কার।
Thou wilt see the Wrong-doers in fear on account of what they have earned, and (the burden of) that must (necessarily) fall on them. But those who believe and work righteous deeds will be in the luxuriant meads of the Gardens: they shall have, before their Lord, all that they wish for. That will indeed be the magnificent Bounty (of Allah). |

তিনি মুমিন ও সৎকর্মীদের দোয়া শোনেন এবং তাদের প্রতি স্বীয় অনুগ্রহ বাড়িয়ে দেন। আর কাফেরদের জন্যে রয়েছে কঠোর শাস্তি।
And He listens to those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, and gives them increase of His Bounty: but for the Unbelievers their is a terrible Penalty. |
(আশ-শুরা:

কাফেররা বলেই থাকে,
As to these (Quraish), they say forsooth: |

নভোমন্ডল, ভূ-মন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছু আমি যথাযথভাবেই এবং নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের জন্যেই সৃষ্টি করেছি। আর কাফেররা যে বিষয়ে তাদেরকে সতর্ক করা হয়েছে, তা থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়।
We created not the heavens and the earth and all between them but for just ends, and for a Term Appointed: But those who reject Faith turn away from that whereof they are warned. |
(আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩) |

যখন তাদেরকে আমার সুস্পষ্ট আয়াতসমূহ পাঠ করে শুনানো হয়, তখন সত্য আগমন করার পর কাফেররা বলে, এ তো প্রকাশ্য জাদু।
When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say, of the Truth when it comes to them: "This is evident sorcery!" |
(আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭) |

আর কাফেররা মুমিনদের বলতে লাগল যে, যদি এ দ্বীন ভাল হত তবে এরা আমাদেরকে পেছনে ফেলে এগিয়ে যেতে পারত না। তারা যখন এর মাধ্যমে সুপথ পায়নি, তখন শীঘ্রই বলবে, এ তো এক পুরাতন মিথ্যা।
The Unbelievers say of those who believe: "If (this Message) were a good thing, (such men) would not have gone to it first, before us!" And seeing that they guide not themselves thereby, they will say, "this is an (old,) falsehood!" |
(আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১১) |

যেদিন কাফেরদেরকে জাহান্নামের কাছে উপস্থিত করা হবে সেদিন বলা হবে, তোমরা তোমাদের সুখ পার্থিব জীবনেই নিঃশেষ করেছ এবং সেগুলো ভোগ করেছ সুতরাং আজ তোমাদেরকে অপমানকর আযাবের শাস্তি দেয়া হবে; কারণ, তোমরা পৃথিবীতে অন্যায় ভাবে অহংকার করতে এবং তোমরা পাপাচার করতে।
And on the Day that the Unbelievers will be placed before the Fire, (It will be said to them): "Ye received your good things in the life of the world, and ye took your pleasure out of them: but today shall ye be recompensed with a Penalty of humiliation: for that ye were arrogant on earth without just cause, and that ye (ever) transgressed." |

আয়াতঃ ২০) |

যেদিন কাফেরদেরকে জাহান্নামের সামনে পেশ করা হবে, সেদিন বলা হবে, এটা কি সত্য নয়? তারা বলবে, হঁ্যা আমাদের পালনকর্তার শপথ। আল্লাহ বলবেন, আযাব আস্বাদন কর। কারণ, তোমরা কুফরী করতে।
And on the Day that the Unbelievers will be placed before the Fire, (they will be asked,) "Is this not the Truth?" they will say, "Yea, by our Lord!" (One will say:) "Then taste ye the Penalty, for that ye were wont to deny (Truth)!" |

আয়াতঃ ৩৪) |

এটা এ কারণে যে, যারা কাফের, তারা বাতিলের অনুসরণ করে এবং যারা বিশ্বাসী, তারা তাদের পালনকর্তার নিকট থেকে আগত সত্যের অনুসরণ করে। এমনিভাবে আল্লাহ মানুষের জন্যে তাদের দৃষ্টান্তসমূহ বর্ণনা করেন।
This because those who reject Allah follow vanities, while those who believe follow the Truth from their Lord: Thus does Allah set forth for men their lessons by similitudes. |

আয়াতঃ ৩) |

অতঃপর যখন তোমরা কাফেরদের সাথে যুদ্ধে অবতীর্ণ হও, তখন তাদের গর্দার মার, অবশেষে যখন তাদেরকে পূর্ণরূপে পরাভূত কর তখন তাদেরকে শক্ত করে বেধে ফেল। অতঃপর হয় তাদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ কর, না হয় তাদের নিকট হতে মুক্তিপণ লও। তোমরা যুদ্ধ চালিয়ে যাবে যে পর্যন্ত না শত্রুপক্ষ অস্ত্র সমর্পণ করবে! একথা শুনলে। আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা করলে তাদের কাছ থেকে প্রতিশোধ নিতে পারতেন। কিন্তু তিনি তোমাদের কতককে কতকের দ্বারা পরীক্ষা করতে চান। যারা আল্লাহর পথে শহীদ হয়, আল্লাহ কখনই তাদের কর্ম বিনষ্ট করবেন না।
Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), smite at their necks; At length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burdens. Thus (are ye commanded): but if it had been Allah's Will, He could certainly have exacted retribution from them (Himself); but (He lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the Way of Allah,- He will never let their deeds be lost. |
(মুহাম্মদ:
আয়াতঃ ৪) |

আর যারা কাফের, তাদের জন্যে আছে দুর্গতি এবং তিনি তাদের কর্ম বিনষ্ট করে দিবেন।
But those who reject (Allah),- for them is destruction, and (Allah) will render their deeds astray (from their mark). |
(মুহাম্মদ:
আয়াতঃ ৮) |
| 230 |
তারা কি পৃথিবীতে ভ্রমণ করেনি অতঃপর দেখেনি যে, তাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের পরিণাম কি হয়েছে? আল্লাহ তাদেরকে ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছেন এবং কাফেরদের অবস্থা এরূপই হবে।
Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the End of those before them (who did evil)? Allah brought utter destruction on them, and similar (fates await) those who reject Allah. |
(মুহাম্মদ:
আয়াতঃ ১০) |
| 231 |
এটা এজন্যে যে, আল্লাহ মুমিনদের হিতৈষী বন্ধু এবং কাফেরদের কোন হিতৈষী বন্ধু নাই।
That is because Allah is the Protector of those who believe, but those who reject Allah have no protector. |
(মুহাম্মদ:
আয়াতঃ ১১) |

যারা বিশ্বাস করে ও সৎকর্ম করে, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে জান্নাতে দাখিল করবেন, যার নিম্নদেশে নির্ঝরিণীসমূহ প্রবাহিত হয়। আর যারা কাফের, তারা ভোগ-বিলাসে মত্ত থাকে এবং চতুস্পদ জন্তুর মত আহার করে। তাদের বাসস্থান জাহান্নাম।
Verily Allah will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds, to Gardens beneath which rivers flow; while those who reject Allah will enjoy (this world) and eat as cattle eat; and the Fire will be their abode. |

আয়াতঃ ১২) |

নিশ্চয় যারা কাফের এবং আল্লাহর পথ থেকে মানুষকে ফিরিয়ে রাখে এবং নিজেদের জন্যে সৎপথ ব্যক্ত হওয়ার পর রসূলের (সঃ) বিরোধিতা করে, তারা আল্লাহর কোনই ক্ষতি করতে পারবে না এবং তিনি ব্যর্থ করে দিবেন তাদের কর্মসমূহকে।
Those who reject Allah, hinder (men) from the Path of Allah, and resist the Messenger, after Guidance has been clearly shown to them, will not injure Allah in the least, but He will make their deeds of no effect. |
(মুহাম্মদ:
আয়াতঃ ৩২) |

নিশ্চয় যারা কাফের এবং আল্লাহর পথ থেকে মানুষকে ফিরিয়ে রাখে, অতঃপর কাফের অবস্থায় মারা যায়, আল্লাহ কখনই তাদেরকে ক্ষমা করবেন না।
Those who reject Allah, and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah, then die rejecting Allah,- Allah will not forgive them. |
(মুহাম্মদ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৪) |
| 235 |
যারা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলে বিশ্বাস করে না, আমি সেসব কাফেরের জন্যে জ্বলন্ত অগ্নি প্রস্তুত রেখেছি।
And if any believe not in Allah and His Messenger, We have prepared, for those who reject Allah, a Blazing Fire! |
(আল ফাতহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৩) |
| 236 |
যদি কাফেররা তোমাদের মোকাবেলা করত, তবে অবশ্যই তারা পৃষ্ঠপ্রদর্শন করত। তখন তারা কোন অভিভাবক ও সাহায্যকারী পেত না।
If the Unbelievers should fight you, they would certainly turn their backs; then would they find neither protector nor helper. |
(আল ফাতহ:
আয়াতঃ ২২) |
| 237 |
তারাই তো কুফরী করেছে এবং বাধা দিয়েছে তোমাদেরকে মসজিদে হারাম থেকে এবং অবস্থানরত কোরবানীর জন্তুদেরকে যথাস্থানে পৌছতে। যদি মক্কায় কিছুসংখ্যক ঈমানদার পুরুষ ও ঈমানদার নারী না থাকত, যাদেরকে তোমরা জানতে না। অর্থাৎ তাদের পিষ্ট হয়ে যাওয়ার আশংকা না থাকত, অতঃপর তাদের কারণে তোমরা অজ্ঞাতসারে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হতে, তবে সব কিছু চুকিয়ে দেয়া হত; কিন্তু এ কারণে চুকানো হয়নি, যাতে আল্লাহ তা’আলা যাকে ইচ্ছা স্বীয় রহমতে দাখিল করে নেন। যদি তারা সরে যেত, তবে আমি অবশ্যই তাদের মধ্যে যারা কাফের তাদেরকে যন্ত্রনাদায়ক শস্তি দিতাম।
They are the ones who denied Revelation and hindered you from the Sacred Mosque and the sacrificial animals, detained from reaching their place of sacrifice. Had there not been believing men and believing women whom ye did not know that ye were trampling down and on whose account a crime would have accrued to you without (your) knowledge, (Allah would have allowed you to force your way, but He held back your hands) that He may admit to His Mercy whom He will. If they had been apart, We should certainly have punished the Unbelievers among them with a grievous Punishment. |
(আল ফাতহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৫) |
| 238 |
কেননা, কাফেররা তাদের অন্তরে মূর্খতাযুগের জেদ পোষণ করত। অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাঁর রসূল ও মুমিনদের উপর স্বীয় প্রশান্তি নাযিল করলেন এবং তাদের জন্যে সংযমের দায়িত্ব অপরিহার্য করে দিলেন। বস্তুতঃ তারাই ছিল এর অধিকতর যোগ্য ও উপযুক্ত। আল্লাহ সর্ববিষয়ে সম্যক জ্ঞাত।
While the Unbelievers got up in their hearts heat and cant - the heat and cant of ignorance,- Allah sent down His Tranquillity to his Messenger and to the Believers, and made them stick close to the command of self-restraint; and well were they entitled to it and worthy of it. And Allah has full knowledge of all things. |
(আল ফাতহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৬) |

মুহাম্মদ আল্লাহর রসূল এবং তাঁর সহচরগণ কাফেরদের প্রতি কঠোর, নিজেদের মধ্যে পরস্পর সহানুভূতিশীল। আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ ও সন্তুষ্টি কামনায় আপনি তাদেরকে রুকু ও সেজদারত দেখবেন। তাদের মুখমন্ডলে রয়েছে সেজদার চিহ্ন । তওরাতে তাদের অবস্থা এরূপ এবং ইঞ্জিলে তাদের অবস্থা যেমন একটি চারা গাছ যা থেকে নির্গত হয় কিশলয়, অতঃপর তা শক্ত ও মজবুত হয় এবং কান্ডের উপর দাঁড়ায় দৃঢ়ভাবে-চাষীকে আনন্দে অভিভুত করে-যাতে আল্লাহ তাদের দ্বারা কাফেরদের অন্তর্জালা সৃষ্টি করেন। তাদের মধ্যে যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং সৎকর্ম করে, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে ক্ষমা ও মহাপুরস্কারের ওয়াদা দিয়েছেন।
Muhammad is the messenger of Allah; and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other. Thou wilt see them bow and prostrate themselves (in prayer), seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. On their faces are their marks, (being) the traces of their prostration. This is their similitude in the Taurat; and their similitude in the Gospel is: like a seed which sends forth its blade, then makes it strong; it then becomes thick, and it stands on its own stem, (filling) the sowers with wonder and delight. As a result, it fills the Unbelievers with rage at them. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds forgiveness, and a great Reward. |
(আল ফাতহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৯) |
| 240 |
বরং তারা তাদের মধ্য থেকেই একজন ভয় প্রদর্শনকারী আগমন করেছে দেখে বিস্ময় বোধ করে। অতঃপর কাফেররা বলেঃ এটা আশ্চর্যের ব্যাপার।
But they wonder that there has come to them a Warner from among themselves. So the Unbelievers say: "This is a wonderful thing! |
(ক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ২) |
| 241 |
অতএব, কাফেরদের জন্যে দুর্ভোগ সেই দিনের, যেদিনের প্রতিশ্রুতি ওদেরকে দেয়া হয়েছে।
Woe, then, to the Unbelievers, on account of that Day of theirs which they have been promised! |
(আয-যারিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ৬০) |
| 242 |
না তারা চক্রান্ত করতে চায়? অতএব যারা কাফের, তারই চক্রান্তের শিকার হবে।
Or do they intend a plot (against thee)? But those who defy Allah are themselves involved in a Plot! |
(আত্ব তূর:
আয়াতঃ ৪২) |
| 243 |
তারা আহবানকারীর দিকে দৌড়াতে থাকবে। কাফেরা বলবেঃ এটা কঠিন দিন।
Hastening, with eyes transfixed, towards the Caller!- "Hard is this Day!", the Unbelievers will say. |
(আল ক্বামার:
আয়াতঃ ৮) |

তোমাদের মধ্যকার কাফেররা কি তাদের চাইতে শ্রেষ্ঠ ? না তোমাদের মুক্তির সনদপত্র রয়েছে কিতাবসমূহে?
Are your Unbelievers, (O Quraish), better than they? Or have ye an immunity in the Sacred Books? |
(আল ক্বামার:
আয়াতঃ ৪৩) |
| 245 |
অতএব, আজ তোমাদের কাছ থেকে কোন মুক্তিপন গ্রহণ করা হবে না। এবং কাফেরদের কাছ থেকেও নয়। তোমাদের সবার আবাস্থল জাহান্নাম। সেটাই তোমাদের সঙ্গী। কতই না নিকৃষ্ট এই প্রত্যাবর্তন স্থল।
"This Day shall no ransom be accepted of you, nor of those who rejected Allah." Your abode is the Fire: that is the proper place to claim you: and an evil refuge it is!" |
(আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ১৫) |

আর যারা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে তারাই তাদের পালনকর্তার কাছে সিদ্দীক ও শহীদ বলে বিবেচিত। তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে পুরস্কার ও জ্যোতি এবং যারা কাফের ও আমার নিদর্শন অস্বীকারকারী তারাই জাহান্নামের অধিবাসী হবে।
And those who believe in Allah and His messengers- they are the Sincere (lovers of Truth), and the witnesses (who testify), in the eyes of their Lord: They shall have their Reward and their Light. But those who reject Allah and deny Our Signs,- they are the Companions of Hell-Fire. |
(আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ১৯) |

যার এ সামর্থ্য নেই, সে একে অপরকে স্পর্শ করার পূর্বে একাদিক্রমে দুই মাস রোযা রাখবে। যে এতেও অক্ষম হয় সে ষাট জন মিসকীনকে আহার করাবে। এটা এজন্যে, যাতে তোমরা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন কর। এগুলো আল্লাহর নির্ধারিত শাস্তি। আর কাফেরদের জন্যে রয়েছে যন্ত্রণা দায়ক আযাব।
And if any has not (the wherewithal), he should fast for two months consecutively before they touch each other. But if any is unable to do so, he should feed sixty indigent ones, this, that ye may show your faith in Allah and His Messenger. Those are limits (set by) Allah. For those who reject (Him), there is a grievous Penalty. |
(আল মুজাদালাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪) |
| 248 |
যারা আল্লাহর তাঁর রসূলের বিরুদ্ধাচরণ করে, তারা অপদস্থ হয়েছে, যেমন অপদস্থ হয়েছে তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা। আমি সুস্পষ্ট আয়াতসমূহ নাযিল করেছি। আর কাফেরদের জন্যে রয়েছে অপমানজনক শাস্তি।
Those who resist Allah and His Messenger will be humbled to dust, as were those before them: for We have already sent down Clear Signs. And the Unbelievers (will have) a humiliating Penalty,- |
(আল মুজাদালাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৫) |

তিনিই কিতাবধারীদের মধ্যে যারা কাফের, তাদেরকে প্রথমবার একত্রিত করে তাদের বাড়ী-ঘর থেকে বহিস্কার করেছেন। তোমরা ধারণাও করতে পারনি যে, তারা বের হবে এবং তারা মনে করেছিল যে, তাদের দূর্গগুলো তাদেরকে আল্লাহর কবল থেকে রক্ষা করবে। অতঃপর আল্লাহর শাস্তি তাদের উপর এমনদিক থেকে আসল, যার কল্পনাও তারা করেনি। আল্লাহ তাদের অন্তরে ত্রাস সঞ্চার করে দিলেন। তারা তাদের বাড়ী-ঘর নিজেদের হাতে এবং মুসলমানদের হাতে ধ্বংস করছিল। অতএব, হে চক্ষুষ্মান ব্যক্তিগণ, তোমরা শিক্ষা গ্রহণ কর।
It is He Who got out the Unbelievers among the People of the Book from their homes at the first gathering (of the forces). Little did ye think that they would get out: And they thought that their fortresses would defend them from Allah! But the (Wrath of) Allah came to them from quarters from which they little expected (it), and cast terror into their hearts, so that they destroyed their dwellings by their own hands and the hands of the Believers, take warning, then, O ye with eyes (to see)! |
(আল হাশর:
আয়াতঃ ২) |
| 250 |
আপনি কি মুনাফিকদেরকে দেখেন নি? তারা তাদের কিতাবধারী কাফের ভাইদেরকে বলেঃ তোমরা যদি বহিস্কৃত হও, তবে আমরা অবশ্যই তোমাদের সাথে দেশ থেকে বের হয়ে যাব এবং তোমাদের ব্যাপারে আমরা কখনও কারও কথা মানব না। আর যদি তোমরা আক্রান্ত হও, তবে আমরা অবশ্যই তোমাদেরকে সাহায্য করব। আল্লাহ তা’আলা সাক্ষ্য দেন যে, ওরা নিশ্চয়ই মিথ্যাবাদী।
Hast thou not observed the Hypocrites say to their misbelieving brethren among the People of the Book? - "If ye are expelled, we too will go out with you, and we will never hearken to any one in your affair; and if ye are attacked (in fight) we will help you". But Allah is witness that they are indeed liars. |
(আল হাশর:
আয়াতঃ ১১) |

যদি তারা বহিস্কৃত হয়, তবে মুনাফিকরা তাদের সাথে দেশত্যাগ করবে না আর যদি তারা আক্রান্ত হয়, তবে তারা তাদেরকে সাহায্য করবে না। যদি তাদেরকে সাহায্য করে, তবে অবশ্যই পৃষ্ঠপ্রদর্শন করে পলায়ন করবে। এরপর কাফেররা কোন সাহায্য পাবে না।
If they are expelled, never will they go out with them; and if they are attacked (in fight), they will never help them; and if they do help them, they will turn their backs; so they will receive no help. |
(আল হাশর:
আয়াতঃ ১২) |

তারা শয়তানের মত, যে মানুষকে কাফের হতে বলে। অতঃপর যখন সে কাফের হয়, তখন শয়তান বলেঃ তোমার সাথে আমার কোন সম্পর্ক নেই। আমি বিশ্বপালনকর্তা আল্লাহ তা’আলাকে ভয় করি।
(Their allies deceived them), like the Evil One, when he says to man, "Deny Allah": but when (man) denies Allah, (the Evil One) says, "I am free of thee: I do fear Allah, the Lord of the Worlds!" |
(আল হাশর:
আয়াতঃ ১৬) |

তোমাদেরকে করতলগত করতে পারলে তারা তোমাদের শত্রু হয়ে যাবে এবং মন্দ উদ্দেশ্যে তোমাদের প্রতি বাহু ও রসনা প্রসারিত করবে এবং চাইবে যে, কোনরূপে তোমরা ও কাফের হয়ে যাও।
If they were to get the better of you, they would behave to you as enemies, and stretch forth their hands and their tongues against you for evil: and they desire that ye should reject the Truth. |
(আল মুমতাহিনা:
আয়াতঃ ২) |

হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! তুমি আমাদেরকে কাফেরদের জন্য পরীক্ষার পাত্র করো না। হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! আমাদের ক্ষমা কর। নিশ্চয় তুমি পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
"Our Lord! Make us not a (test and) trial for the Unbelievers, but forgive us, our Lord! for Thou art the Exalted in Might, the Wise." |

মুমিনগণ, যখন তোমাদের কাছে ঈমানদার নারীরা হিজরত করে আগমন করে, তখন তাদেরকে পরীক্ষা কর। আল্লাহ তাদের ঈমান সম্পর্কে সম্যক অবগত আছেন। যদি তোমরা জান যে, তারা ঈমানদার, তবে আর তাদেরকে কাফেরদের কাছে ফেরত পাঠিও না। এরা কাফেরদের জন্যে হালাল নয় এবং কাফেররা এদের জন্যে হালাল নয়। কাফেররা যা ব্যয় করেছে, তা তাদের দিয়ে দাও। তোমরা, এই নারীদেরকে প্রাপ্য মোহরানা দিয়ে বিবাহ করলে তোমাদের অপরাধ হবে না। তোমরা কাফের নারীদের সাথে দাম্পত্য সম্পর্ক বজায় রেখো না। তোমরা যা ব্যয় করেছ, তা চেয়ে নাও এবং তারাও চেয়ে নিবে যা তারা ব্যয় করেছে। এটা আল্লাহর বিধান; তিনি তোমাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা করেন। আল্লাহ সর্বজ্ঞ প্রজ্ঞাময়।
O ye who believe! When there come to you believing women refugees, examine (and test) them: Allah knows best as to their Faith: if ye ascertain that they are Believers, then send them not back to the Unbelievers. They are not lawful (wives) for the Unbelievers, nor are the (Unbelievers) lawful (husbands) for them. But pay the Unbelievers what they have spent (on their dower), and there will be no blame on you if ye marry them on payment of their dower to them. But hold not to the guardianship of unbelieving women: ask for what ye have spent on their dowers, and let the (Unbelievers) ask for what they have spent (on the dowers of women who come over to you). Such is the command of Allah: He judges (with justice) between you. And Allah is Full of Knowledge and Wisdom. |

তোমাদের স্ত্রীদের মধ্যে যদি কেউ হাতছাড়া হয়ে কাফেরদের কাছে থেকে যায়, অতঃপর তোমরা সুযোগ পাও, তখন যাদের স্ত্রী হাতছাড়া হয়ে গেছে, তাদেরকে তাদের ব্যয়কৃত অর্থের সমপরিমাণ অর্থ প্রদান কর এবং আল্লাহকে ভয় কর, যার প্রতি তোমরা বিশ্বাস রাখ।
And if any of your wives deserts you to the Unbelievers, and ye have an accession (by the coming over of a woman from the other side), then pay to those whose wives have deserted the equivalent of what they had spent (on their dower). And fear Allah, in Whom ye believe. |

মুমিনগণ, আল্লাহ যে জাতির প্রতি রুষ্ট, তোমরা তাদের সাথে বন্ধুত্ব করো না। তারা পরকাল সম্পর্কে নিরাশ হয়ে গেছে যেমন কবরস্থ কাফেররা নিরাশ হয়ে গেছে।
O ye who believe! Turn not (for friendship) to people on whom is the Wrath of Allah, of the Hereafter they are already in despair, just as the Unbelievers are in despair about those (buried) in graves. |

তারা মুখের ফুঁৎকারে আল্লাহর আলো নিভিয়ে দিতে চায়। আল্লাহ তাঁর আলোকে পূর্ণরূপে বিকশিত করবেন যদিও কাফেররা তা অপছন্দ করে।
Their intention is to extinguish Allah's Light (by blowing) with their mouths: But Allah will complete (the revelation of) His Light, even though the Unbelievers may detest (it). |

মুমিনগণ, তোমরা আল্লাহর সাহায্যকারী হয়ে যাও, যেমন ঈসা ইবনে-মরিয়ম তার শিষ্যবর্গকে বলেছিল, আল্লাহর পথে কে আমার সাহায্যকারী হবে? শিষ্যবর্গ বলেছিলঃ আমরা আল্লাহর পথে সাহায্যকারী। অতঃপর বনী-ইসরাঈলের একদল বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করল এবং একদল কাফের হয়ে গেল। যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছিল, আমি তাদেরকে তাদের শত্রুদের মোকাবেলায় শক্তি যোগালাম, ফলে তারা বিজয়ী হল।
O ye who believe! Be ye helpers of Allah: As said Jesus the son of Mary to the Disciples, "Who will be my helpers to (the work of) Allah?" Said the disciples, "We are Allah's helpers!" then a portion of the Children of Israel believed, and a portion disbelieved: But We gave power to those who believed, against their enemies, and they became the ones that prevailed. |

আয়াতঃ ১৪) |

এটা এজন্য যে, তারা বিশ্বাস করার পর পুনরায় কাফের হয়েছে। ফলে তাদের অন্তরে মোহর মেরে দেয়া হয়েছে। অতএব তারা বুঝে না।
That is because they believed, then they rejected Faith: So a seal was set on their hearts: therefore they understand not. |

তিনিই তোমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন, অতঃপর তোমাদের মধ্যে কেউ কাফের এবং কেউ মুমিন। তোমরা যা কর, আল্লাহ তা দেখেন।
It is He Who has created you; and of you are some that are Unbelievers, and some that are Believers: and Allah sees well all that ye do. |

তোমাদের পুর্বে যারা কাফের ছিল, তাদের বৃত্তান্ত কি তোমাদের কাছে পৌছেনি? তারা তাদের কর্মের শাস্তি আস্বাদন করেছে, এবং তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি।
Has not the story reached you, of those who rejected Faith aforetime? So they tasted the evil result of their conduct; and they had a grievous Penalty. |
(আত-তাগাবুন:
আয়াতঃ ৫) |

এটা এ কারণে যে, তাদের কাছে তাদের রসূলগণ প্রকাশ্য নিদর্শনাবলীসহ আগমন করলে তারা বলতঃ মানুষই কি আমাদেরকে পথপ্রদর্শন করবে? অতঃপর তারা কাফের হয়ে গেল এবং মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিল। এতে আল্লাহর কিছু আসে যায় না। আল্লাহ অমুখাপেক্ষী প্রশংসিত।
That was because there came to them messengers with Clear Signs, but they said: "Shall (mere) human beings direct us?" So they rejected (the Message) and turned away. But Allah can do without (them): and Allah is free of all needs, worthy of all praise. |

আয়াতঃ ৬) |

কাফেররা দাবী করে যে, তারা কখনও পুনরুত্থিত হবে না। বলুন, অবশ্যই হবে, আমার পালনকর্তার কসম, তোমরা নিশ্চয় পুরুত্থিত হবে। অতঃপর তোমাদেরকে অবহিত করা হবে যা তোমরা করতে। এটা আল্লাহর পক্ষে সহজ।
The Unbelievers think that they will not be raised up (for Judgment). Say: "Yea, By my Lord, Ye shall surely be raised up: then shall ye be told (the truth) of all that ye did. And that is easy for Allah." |

আয়াতঃ ৭) |
| 265 |
আর যারা কাফের এবং আমার আয়াতসমূহকে মিথ্যা বলে, তারাই জাহান্নামের অধিবাসী, তারা তথায় অনন্তকাল থাকবে। কতই না মন্দ প্রত্যাবর্তনস্থল এটা।
But those who reject Faith and treat Our Signs as falsehoods, they will be Companions of the Fire, to dwell therein for aye: and evil is that Goal. |
(আত-তাগাবুন:
আয়াতঃ ১০) |
| 266 |
হে কাফের সম্প্রদায়, তোমরা আজ ওযর পেশ করো না। তোমাদেরকে তারই প্রতিফল দেয়া হবে, যা তোমরা করতে।
(They will say), "O ye Unbelievers! Make no excuses this Day! Ye are being but requited for all that ye did!" |
(আত-তাহরীম:
আয়াতঃ ৭) |

হে নবী! কাফের ও মুনাফিকদের বিরুদ্ধে জেহাদ করুন এবং তাদের প্রতি কঠোর হোন। তাদের ঠিকানা জাহান্নাম। সেটা কতই না নিকৃষ্ট স্থান।
O Prophet! Strive hard against the Unbelievers and the Hypocrites, and be firm against them. Their abode is Hell,- an evil refuge (indeed). |
(আত-তাহরীম:
আয়াতঃ ৯) |
| 268 |
আল্লাহ তা’আলা কাফেরদের জন্যে নূহ-পত্নী ও লূত-পত্নীর দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছেন। তারা ছিল আমার দুই ধর্মপরায়ণ বান্দার গৃহে। অতঃপর তারা তাদের সাথে বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করল। ফলে নূহ ও লূত তাদেরকে আল্লাহ তা’আলার কবল থেকে রক্ষা করতে পারল না এবং তাদেরকে বলা হলঃ জাহান্নামীদের সাথে জাহান্নামে চলে যাও।
Allah sets forth, for an example to the Unbelievers, the wife of Noah and the wife of Lut: they were (respectively) under two of our righteous servants, but they were false to their (husbands), and they profited nothing before Allah on their account, but were told: "Enter ye the Fire along with (others) that enter!" |

আয়াতঃ ১০) |

রহমান আল্লাহ তা’আলা ব্যতীত তোমাদের কোন সৈন্য আছে কি, যে তোমাদেরকে সাহায্য করবে? কাফেররা বিভ্রান্তিতেই পতিত আছে।
Nay, who is there that can help you, (even as) an army, besides (Allah) Most Merciful? In nothing but delusion are the Unbelievers. |

কাফেররা বলেঃ এই প্রতিশ্রুতি কবে হবে, যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হও?
They ask: When will this promise be (fulfilled)? - If ye are telling the truth. |
(আল মুলক:
আয়াতঃ ২৫) |
| 271 |
যখন তারা সেই প্রতিশ্রুতিকে আসন্ন দেখবে তখন কাফেরদের মুখমন্ডল মলিন হয়ে পড়বে এবং বলা হবেঃ এটাই তো তোমরা চাইতে।
At length, when they see it close at hand, grieved will be the faces of the Unbelievers, and it will be said (to them): "This is (the promise fulfilled), which ye were calling for!" |

আয়াতঃ ২৭) |

বলুন, তোমরা কি ভেবে দেখেছ-যদি আল্লাহ তা’আলা আমাকে ও আমার সংগীদেরকে ধ্বংস করেন অথবা আমাদের প্রতি দয়া করেন, তবে কাফেরদেরকে কে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি থেকে রক্ষা করবে?
Say: "See ye?- If Allah were to destroy me, and those with me, or if He bestows His Mercy on us,- yet who can deliver the Unbelievers from a grievous Penalty?" |
(আল মুলক:
আয়াতঃ ২৮) |

কাফেররা যখন কোরআন শুনে, তখন তারা তাদের দৃষ্টি দ্বারা যেন আপনাকে আছাড় দিয়ে ফেলে দিবে এবং তারা বলেঃ সে তো একজন পাগল।
And the Unbelievers would almost trip thee up with their eyes when they hear the Message; and they say: "Surely he is possessed!" |

নিশ্চয় এটা কাফেরদের জন্যে অনুতাপের কারণ।
But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers. |
(আল হাক্বক্বাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৫০) |

কাফেরদের জন্যে, যার প্রতিরোধকারী কেউ নেই।
The Unbelievers, the which there is none to ward off,- |
(আল মা'আরিজ:
আয়াতঃ ২) |

অতএব, কাফেরদের কি হল যে, তারা আপনার দিকে উর্ধ্বশ্বাসে ছুটে আসছে।
Now what is the matter with the Unbelievers that they rush madly before thee- |

আয়াতঃ ৩৬) |
| 277 |
নূহ আরও বললঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আপনি পৃথিবীতে কোন কাফের গৃহবাসীকে রেহাই দিবেন না।
And Noah, said: "O my Lord! Leave not of the Unbelievers, a single one on earth! |
(নূহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৬) |
| 278 |
যদি আপনি তাদেরকে রেহাই দেন, তবে তারা আপনার বান্দাদেরকে পথভ্রষ্ট করবে এবং জন্ম দিতে থাকবে কেবল পাপাচারী, কাফের।
"For, if Thou dost leave (any of) them, they will but mislead Thy devotees, and they will breed none but wicked ungrateful ones. |
(নূহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৭) |

কাফেররা যা বলে, তজ্জন্যে আপনি সবর করুন এবং সুন্দরভাবে তাদেরকে পরিহার করে চলুন।
And have patience with what they say, and leave them with noble (dignity). |
(মুযযামমিল:
আয়াতঃ ১০) |

কাফেরদের জন্যে এটা সহজ নয়।
Far from easy for those without Faith. |
(আল মুদ্দাসসির:
আয়াতঃ ১০) |

আমি জাহান্নামের তত্ত্বাবধায়ক ফেরেশতাই রেখেছি। আমি কাফেরদেরকে পরীক্ষা করার জন্যেই তার এই সংখ্যা করেছি-যাতে কিতাবীরা দৃঢ়বিশ্বাসী হয়, মুমিনদের ঈমান বৃদ্ধি পায় এবং কিতাবীরা ও মুমিনগণ সন্দেহ পোষণ না করে এবং যাতে যাদের অন্তরে রোগ আছে, তারা এবং কাফেররা বলে যে, আল্লাহ এর দ্বারা কি বোঝাতে চেয়েছেন। এমনিভাবে আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা পথভ্রষ্ট করেন এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা সৎপথে চালান। আপনার পালনকর্তার বাহিনী সম্পর্কে একমাত্র তিনিই জানেন এটা তো মানুষের জন্যে উপদেশ বৈ নয়।
And We have set none but angels as Guardians of the Fire; and We have fixed their number only as a trial for Unbelievers,- in order that the People of the Book may arrive at certainty, and the Believers may increase in Faith,- and that no doubts may be left for the People of the Book and the Believers, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the Unbelievers may say, "What symbol doth Allah intend by this?" Thus doth Allah leave to stray whom He pleaseth, and guide whom He pleaseth: and none can know the forces of thy Lord, except He and this is no other than a warning to mankind. |

আয়াতঃ ৩১) |

অতএব, আপনি আপনার পালনকর্তার আদেশের জন্যে ধৈর্য্য সহকারে অপেক্ষা করুন এবং ওদের মধ্যকার কোন পাপিষ্ঠ কাফেরের আনুগত্য করবেন না।
Therefore be patient with constancy to the Command of thy Lord, and hearken not to the sinner or the ingrate among them. |
(আদ-দাহর:
আয়াতঃ ২৪) |
| 283 |
কাফেরগণ, তোমরা কিছুদিন খেয়ে নাও এবং ভোগ করে নাও। তোমরা তো অপরাধী।
(O ye unjust!) Eat ye and enjoy yourselves (but) a little while, for that ye are Sinners. |
(আল মুরসালাত:
আয়াতঃ ৪৬) |

আমি তোমাদেরকে আসন্ন শাস্তি সম্পর্কে সতর্ক করলাম, যেদিন মানুষ প্রত্যেক্ষ করবে যা সে সামনে প্রেরণ করেছে এবং কাফের বলবেঃ হায়, আফসোস-আমি যদি মাটি হয়ে যেতাম।
Verily, We have warned you of a Penalty near, the Day when man will see (the deeds) which his hands have sent forth, and the Unbeliever will say, "Woe unto me! Would that I were (metre) dust!" |
(আন-নাবা:
আয়াতঃ ৪০) |

তারাই কাফের পাপিষ্ঠের দল।
Such will be the Rejecters of Allah, the doers of iniquity. |
(আবাসা:
আয়াতঃ ৪২) |

আজ যারা বিশ্বাসী, তারা কাফেরদেরকে উপহাস করছে।
But on this Day the Believers will laugh at the Unbelievers: |

আয়াতঃ ৩৪) |

কাফেররা যা করত, তার প্রতিফল পেয়েছে তো?
Will not the Unbelievers have been paid back for what they did? |
(আত-তাতফীফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬) |
| 288 |
বরং কাফেররা এর প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করে।
But on the contrary the Unbelievers reject (it). |
(আল ইনশিক্বাক্ব:
আয়াতঃ ২২) |
| 289 |
বরং যারা কাফের, তারা মিথ্যারোপে রত আছে।
And yet the Unbelievers (persist) in rejecting (the Truth)! |
(আল বুরূজ:
আয়াতঃ ১৯) |
| 290 |
অতএব, কাফেরদেরকে অবকাশ দিন, তাদেরকে অবকাশ দিন, কিছু দিনের জন্যে।
Therefore grant a delay to the Unbelievers: Give respite to them gently (for awhile). |
(আত্ব-তারিক্ব:
আয়াতঃ ১৭) |

কিন্তু যে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয় ও কাফের হয়ে যায়,
But if any turn away and reject Allah,- |
(আল গাশিয়াহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৩) |

আহলে-কিতাব ও মুশরেকদের মধ্যে যারা কাফের ছিল, তারা প্রত্যাবর্তন করত না যতক্ষণ না তাদের কাছে সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ আসত।
Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, were not going to depart (from their ways) until there should come to them Clear Evidence,- |

আয়াতঃ ১) |

আহলে-কিতাব ও মুশরেকদের মধ্যে যারা কাফের, তারা জাহান্নামের আগুনে স্থায়ীভাবে থাকবে। তারাই সৃষ্টির অধম।
Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, will be in Hell-Fire, to dwell therein (for aye). They are the worst of creatures. |

আয়াতঃ ৬) |

বলুন, হে কাফেরকূল,
Say: O ye that reject Faith! |

আয়াতঃ ১) |
