আর তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা মৃত্যুবরণ করবে এবং নিজেদের স্ত্রীদেরকে ছেড়ে যাবে, তখন সে স্ত্রীদের কর্তব্য হলো নিজেকে চার মাস দশ দিন পর্যন্ত অপেক্ষা করিয়ে রাখা। তারপর যখন ইদ্দত পূর্ণ করে নেবে, তখন নিজের ব্যাপারে নীতি সঙ্গত ব্যবস্থা নিলে কোন পাপ নেই। আর তোমাদের যাবতীয় কাজের ব্যাপারেই আল্লাহর অবগতি রয়েছে।
If any of you die and leave widows behind, they shall wait concerning themselves four months and ten days: When they have fulfilled their term, there is no blame on you if they dispose of themselves in a just and reasonable manner. And Allah is well acquainted with what ye do. |

আল্লাহ কাউকে তার সাধ্যাতীত কোন কাজের ভার দেন না, সে তাই পায় যা সে উপার্জন করে এবং তাই তার উপর বর্তায় যা সে করে। হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, যদি আমরা ভুলে যাই কিংবা ভুল করি, তবে আমাদেরকে অপরাধী করো না। হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! এবং আমাদের উপর এমন দায়িত্ব অর্পণ করো না, যেমন আমাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের উপর অর্পণ করেছ, হে আমাদের প্রভূ! এবং আমাদের দ্বারা ঐ বোঝা বহন করিও না, যা বহন করার শক্তি আমাদের নাই। আমাদের পাপ মোচন কর। আমাদেরকে ক্ষমা কর এবং আমাদের প্রতি দয়া কর। তুমিই আমাদের প্রভু। সুতরাং কাফের সম্প্রদায়ের বিরুদ্ধে আমাদের কে সাহায্যে কর।
On no soul doth Allah Place a burden greater than it can bear. It gets every good that it earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns. (Pray:) "Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; our Lord! Lay not on us a burden Like that which Thou didst lay on those before us; Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins, and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. Thou art our Protector; Help us against those who stand against faith." |

আর তোমাদের মধ্যে এমন একটা দল থাকা উচিত যারা আহবান জানাবে সৎকর্মের প্রতি, নির্দেশ দেবে ভাল কাজের এবং বারণ করবে অন্যায় কাজ থেকে, আর তারাই হলো সফলকাম।
Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong: They are the ones to attain felicity. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১০৪) |

তোমরাই হলে সর্বোত্তম উম্মত, মানবজাতির কল্যানের জন্যেই তোমাদের উদ্ভব ঘটানো হয়েছে। তোমরা সৎকাজের নির্দেশ দান করবে ও অন্যায় কাজে বাধা দেবে এবং আল্লাহর প্রতি ঈমান আনবে। আর আহলে-কিতাবরা যদি ঈমান আনতো, তাহলে তা তাদের জন্য মঙ্গলকর হতো। তাদের মধ্যে কিছু তো রয়েছে ঈমানদার আর অধিকাংশই হলো পাপাচারী।
Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah. If only the People of the Book had faith, it were best for them: among them are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors. |

তারা আল্লাহর প্রতি ও কিয়ামত দিবসের প্রতি ঈমান রাখে এবং কল্যাণকর বিষয়ের নির্দেশ দেয়; অকল্যাণ থেকে বারণ করে এবং সৎকাজের জন্য সাধ্যমত চেষ্টা করতে থাকে। আর এরাই হল সৎকর্মশীল।
They believe in Allah and the Last Day; they enjoin what is right, and forbid what is wrong; and they hasten (in emulation) in (all) good works: They are in the ranks of the righteous. |

আর তোমরা উপরে উঠে যাচ্ছিলে এবং পেছন দিকে ফিরে তাকাচ্ছিলে না কারো প্রতি, অথচ রসূল ডাকছিলেন তোমাদিগকে তোমাদের পেছন দিক থেকে। অতঃপর তোমাদের উপর এলো শোকের ওপরে শোক, যাতে তোমরা হাত থেকে বেরিয়ে যাওয়া বস্তুর জন্য দুঃখ না কর এবং যার সম্মুখীণ হচ্ছ সেজন্য বিমর্ষ না হও। আর আল্লাহ তোমাদের কাজের ব্যাপারে অবহিত রয়েছেন।
Behold! ye were climbing up the high ground, without even casting a side glance at any one, and the Messenger in your rear was calling you back. There did Allah give you one distress after another by way of requital, to teach you not to grieve for (the booty) that had escaped you and for (the ill) that had befallen you. For Allah is well aware of all that ye do. |

আল্লাহর রহমতেই আপনি তাদের জন্য কোমল হৃদয় হয়েছেন পক্ষান্তরে আপনি যদি রাগ ও কঠিন হৃদয় হতেন তাহলে তারা আপনার কাছ থেকে বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ে যেতো। কাজেই আপনি তাদের ক্ষমা করে দিন এবং তাদের জন্য মাগফেরাত কামনা করুন এবং কাজে কর্মে তাদের পরামর্শ করুন। অতঃপর যখন কোন কাজের সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ করে ফেলেন, তখন আল্লাহ তা’আলার উপর ভরসা করুন আল্লাহ তাওয়াক্কুল কারীদের ভালবাসেন।
It is part of the Mercy of Allah that thou dost deal gently with them Wert thou severe or harsh-hearted, they would have broken away from about thee: so pass over (Their faults), and ask for (Allah's) forgiveness for them; and consult them in affairs (of moment). Then, when thou hast Taken a decision put thy trust in Allah. For Allah loves those who put their trust (in Him). |

আল্লাহ ঈমানদারদের উপর অনুগ্রহ করেছেন যে, তাদের মাঝে তাদের নিজেদের মধ্য থেকে নবী পাঠিয়েছেন। তিনি তাদের জন্য তাঁর আয়াতসমূহ পাঠ করেন। তাদেরকে পরিশোধন করেন এবং তাদেরকে কিতাব ও কাজের কথা শিক্ষা দেন। বস্তুতঃ তারা ছিল পূর্ব থেকেই পথভ্রষ্ট।
Allah did confer a great favour on the believers when He sent among them a messenger from among themselves, rehearsing unto them the Signs of Allah, sanctifying them, and instructing them in Scripture and Wisdom, while, before that, they had been in manifest error. |

যে লোক সৎকাজের জন্য কোন সুপারিশ করবে, তা থেকে সেও একটি অংশ পাবে। আর যে লোক সুপারিশ করবে মন্দ কাজের জন্যে সে তার বোঝারও একটি অংশ পাবে। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ সর্ব বিষয়ে ক্ষমতাশীল।
Whoever recommends and helps a good cause becomes a partner therein: And whoever recommends and helps an evil cause, shares in its burden: And Allah hath power over all things. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৮৫) |
| 10 |
অতঃপর তোমাদের কি হল যে, মুনাফিকদের সম্পর্কে তোমরা দু’দল হয়ে গেলে? অথচ আল্লাহ তা’আলা তাদেরকে ঘুরিয়ে দিয়েছেন তাদের মন্দ কাজের কারনে! তোমরা কি তাদেরকে পথ প্রদর্শন করতে চাও, যাদেরকে আল্লাহ পথভ্রষ্ট করেছেন? আল্লাহ যাকে পথভ্রান্ত করেন, তুমি তার জন্য কোন পথ পাবে না।
Why should ye be divided into two parties about the Hypocrites? Allah hath upset them for their (evil) deeds. Would ye guide those whom Allah hath thrown out of the Way? For those whom Allah hath thrown out of the Way, never shalt thou find the Way. |

আয়াতঃ ৮৮) |

যদি কোন নারী স্বীয় স্বামীর পক্ষ থেকে অসদাচরণ কিংবা উপেক্ষার আশংকা করে, তবে পরস্পর কোন মীমাংসা করে নিলে তাদের উভয়ের কোন গোনাহ নাই। মীমাংসা উত্তম। মনের সামনে লোভ বিদ্যমান আছে। যদি তোমরা উত্তম কাজ কর এবং খোদাভীরু হও, তবে, আল্লাহ তোমাদের সব কাজের খবর রাখেন।
If a wife fears cruelty or desertion on her husband's part, there is no blame on them if they arrange an amicable settlement between themselves; and such settlement is best; even though men's souls are swayed by greed. But if ye do good and practise self-restraint, Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১২৮) |
| 12 |
তারা যখন কোন মন্দ কাজ করে, তখন বলে আমরা বাপ-দাদাকে এমনি করতে দেখেছি এবং আল্লাহও আমাদেরকে এ নির্দেশই দিয়েছেন। আল্লাহ মন্দকাজের আদেশ দেন না। এমন কথা আল্লাহর প্রতি কেন আরোপ কর, যা তোমরা জান না।
When they do aught that is shameful, they say: "We found our fathers doing so"; and "Allah commanded us thus": Say: "Nay, Allah never commands what is shameful: do ye say of Allah what ye know not?" |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ২৮) |
| 13 |
আর ক্ষমা করার অভ্যাস গড়ে তোল, সৎকাজের নির্দেশ দাও এবং মূর্খ জাহেলদের থেকে দূরে সরে থাক।
Hold to forgiveness; command what is right; But turn away from the ignorant. |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৯৯) |
| 14 |
যেমন করে তোমাকে তোমার পরওয়ারদেগার ঘর থেকে বের করেছেন ন্যায় ও সৎকাজের জন্য, অথচ ঈমানদারদের একটি দল (তাতে) সম্মত ছিল না।
Just as thy Lord ordered thee out of thy house in truth, even though a party among the Believers disliked it, |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৫) |
| 15 |
হে ঈমানদারগণ, আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের নির্দেশ মান্য কর, যখন তোমাদের সে কাজের প্রতি আহবান করা হয়, যাতে রয়েছে তোমাদের জীবন। জেনে রেখো, আল্লাহ মানুষের এবং তার অন্তরের মাঝে অন্তরায় হয়ে যান। বস্তুতঃ তোমরা সবাই তাঁরই নিকট সমবেত হবে।
O ye who believe! give your response to Allah and His Messenger, when He calleth you to that which will give you life; and know that Allah cometh in between a man and his heart, and that it is He to Whom ye shall (all) be gathered. |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ২৪) |
| 16 |
আল্লাহ যখন তোমাকে স্বপ্নে সেসব কাফেরের পরিমাণ অল্প করে দেখালেন; বেশী করে দেখালে তোমরা কাপুরুষতা অবলম্বন করতে এবং কাজের বেলায় বিপদ সৃষ্টি করতে। কিন্তু আল্লাহ বাঁচিয়ে দিয়েছেন। তিনি অতি উত্তমভাবেই জানেন; যা কিছু অন্তরে রয়েছে।
Remember in thy dream Allah showed them to thee as few: if He had shown them to thee as many, ye would surely have been discouraged, and ye would surely have disputed in (your) decision; but Allah saved (you): for He knoweth well the (secrets) of (all) hearts. |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৪৩) |
| 17 |
তারা তওবাকারী, এবাদতকারী, শোকরগোযার, (দুনিয়ার সাথে) সম্পর্কচ্ছেদকারী, রুকু ও সিজদা আদায়কারী, সৎকাজের আদেশ দানকারী ও মন্দ কাজ থেকে নিবৃতকারী এবং আল্লাহর দেওয়া সীমাসমূহের হেফাযতকারী। বস্তুতঃ সুসংবাদ দাও ঈমানদারদেরকে।
Those that turn (to Allah) in repentance; that serve Him, and praise Him; that wander in devotion to the cause of Allah,: that bow down and prostrate themselves in prayer; that enjoin good and forbid evil; and observe the limit set by Allah;- (These do rejoice). So proclaim the glad tidings to the Believers. |
(আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১১২) |
| 18 |
আর তাদেরকে শুনিয়ে দাও নূহের অবস্থা যখন সে স্বীয় সম্প্রদায়কে বলল, হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, যদি তোমাদের মাঝে আমার অবস্থিতি এবং আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহের মাধ্যমে নসীহত করা ভারী বলে মনে হয়ে থাকে, তবে আমি আল্লাহর উপর ভরসা করছি। এখন তোমরা সবাই মিলে নিজেরদের কর্ম সাব্যস্ত কর এবং এতে তোমাদের শরীকদেরকে সমবেত করে নাও, যাতে তোমাদের মাঝে নিজেদের কাজের ব্যাপারে কোন সন্দেহ-সংশয় না থাকে। অতঃপর আমার সম্পর্কে যা কিছু করার করে ফেল এবং আমাকে অব্যাহতি দিও না।
Relate to them the story of Noah. Behold! he said to his people: "O my people, if it be hard on your (mind) that I should stay (with you) and commemorate the signs of Allah,- yet I put my trust in Allah. Get ye then an agreement about your plan and among your partners, so your plan be on to you dark and dubious. Then pass your sentence on me, and give me no respite. |

আয়াতঃ ৭১) |

আর আল্লাহর কাছেই আছে আসমান ও যমীনের গোপন তথ্য; আর সকল কাজের প্রত্যাবর্তন তাঁরই দিকে; অতএব, তাঁরই বন্দেগী কর এবং তাঁর উপর ভরসা রাখ, আর তোমাদের কার্যকলাপ সম্বন্ধে তোমার পালনকর্তা কিন্তু বে-খবর নন।
To Allah do belong the unseen (secrets) of the heavens and the earth, and to Him goeth back every affair (for decision): then worship Him, and put thy trust in Him: and thy Lord is not unmindful of aught that ye do. |
(হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ১২৩) |
| 20 |
অতঃপর তারা যখন তাকে নিয়ে চলল এবং অন্ধকূপে নিক্ষেপ করতে একমত হল এবং আমি তাকে ইঙ্গিত করলাম যে, তুমি তাদেরকে তাদের এ কাজের কথা বলবে এমতাবস্থায় যে, তারা তোমাকে চিনবে না।
So they did take him away, and they all agreed to throw him down to the bottom of the well: and We put into his heart (this Message): 'Of a surety thou shalt (one day) tell them the truth of this their affair while they know (thee) not' |
(ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৫) |
| 21 |
ইউসুফ বললঃ হে পালনকর্তা তারা আমাকে যে কাজের দিকে আহবান করে, তার চাইতে আমি কারাগারই পছন্দ করি। যদি আপনি তাদের চক্রান্ত আমার উপর থেকে প্রতিহত না করেন, তবে আমি তাদের প্রতি আকৃষ্ট হয়ে পড়ব এবং অজ্ঞদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত হয়ে যাব।
He said: "O my Lord! the prison is more to my liking than that to which they invite me: Unless Thou turn away their snare from me, I should (in my youthful folly) feel inclined towards them and join the ranks of the ignorant." |
(ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩) |
| 22 |
যখন সব কাজের ফায়সলা হয়ে যাবে, তখন শয়তান বলবেঃ নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে সত্য ওয়াদা দিয়েছিলেন এবং আমি তোমাদের সাথে ওয়াদা করেছি, অতঃপর তা ভঙ্গ করেছি। তোমাদের উপর তো আমার কোন ক্ষমতা ছিল না, কিন্তু এতটুকু যে, আমি তোমাদেরকে ডেকেছি, অতঃপর তোমরা আমার কথা মেনে নিয়েছ। অতএব তোমরা আমাকে ভৎর্সনা করো না এবং নিজেদেরকেই ভৎর্সনা কর। আমি তোমাদের উদ্ধারে সাহায্যকারী নই। এবং তোমরাও আমার উদ্ধারে সাহায্যকারী নও। ইতোপূর্বে তোমরা আমাকে যে আল্লাহর শরীক করেছিলে, আমি তা অস্বীকার করি। নিশ্চয় যারা জালেম তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি।
And Satan will say when the matter is decided: "It was Allah Who gave you a promise of Truth: I too promised, but I failed in my promise to you. I had no authority over you except to call you but ye listened to me: then reproach not me, but reproach your own souls. I cannot listen to your cries, nor can ye listen to mine. I reject your former act in associating me with Allah. For wrong-doers there must be a grievous penalty." |
(ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ২২) |
| 23 |
সুতরাং তাদের মন্দ কাজের শাস্তি তাদেরই মাথায় আপতিত হয়েছে এবং তারা যে ঠাট্টা বিদ্রুপ করত, তাই উল্টে তাদের উপর পড়েছে।
But the evil results of their deeds overtook them, and that very (Wrath) at which they had scoffed hemmed them in. |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৩৪) |
| 24 |
যদি আল্লাহ লোকদেরকে তাদের অন্যায় কাজের কারণে পাকড়াও করতেন, তবে ভুপৃষ্ঠে চলমান কোন কিছুকেই ছাড়তেন না। কিন্তু তিনি প্রতিশ্রুতি সময় পর্যন্ত তাদেরকে অবকাশ দেন। অতঃপর নির্ধারিত সময়ে যখন তাদের মৃত্যু এসে যাবে, তখন এক মুহুর্তও বিলম্বিত কিংবা তরাম্বিত করতে পারবে না।
If Allah were to punish men for their wrong-doing, He would not leave, on the (earth), a single living creature: but He gives them respite for a stated Term: When their Term expires, they would not be able to delay (the punishment) for a single hour, just as they would not be able to anticipate it (for a single hour). |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৬১) |
| 25 |
যে সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে এবং সে ঈমাণদার, পুরুষ হোক কিংবা নারী আমি তাকে পবিত্র জীবন দান করব এবং প্রতিদানে তাদেরকে তাদের উত্তম কাজের কারণে প্রাপ্য পুরষ্কার দেব যা তারা করত।
Whoever works righteousness, man or woman, and has Faith, verily, to him will We give a new Life, a life that is good and pure and We will bestow on such their reward according to the best of their actions. |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৯৭) |
| 26 |
আপনি কোন কাজের বিষয়ে বলবেন না যে, সেটি আমি আগামী কাল করব।
Nor say of anything, "I shall be sure to do so and so tomorrow"- |
(কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ২৩) |
| 27 |
আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্যে কাজের কথা স্পষ্ট করে বর্ণনা করেন। আল্লাহ সর্বজ্ঞ, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
And Allah makes the Signs plain to you: for Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom. |
(আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ১৮) |
| 28 |
হে ঈমানদারগণ, তোমরা শয়তানের পদাঙ্ক অনুসরণ করো না। যে কেউ শয়তানের পদাঙ্ক অনুসরণ করবে, তখন তো শয়তান নির্লজ্জতা ও মন্দ কাজেরই আদেশ করবে। যদি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ ও দয়া তোমাদের প্রতি না থাকত, তবে তোমাদের কেউ কখনও পবিত্র হতে পারতে না। কিন্তু আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা পবিত্র করেন। আল্লাহ সবকিছু শোনেন, জানেন।
O ye who believe! follow not Satan's footsteps: if any will follow the footsteps of Satan, he will (but) command what is shameful and wrong: and were it not for the grace and mercy of Allah on you, not one of you would ever have been pure: but Allah doth purify whom He pleases: and Allah is One Who hears and knows (all things). |
(আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ২১) |
| 29 |
(তারা আল্লাহর পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা করে) যাতে আল্লাহ তাদের উৎকৃষ্টতর কাজের প্রতিদান দেন এবং নিজ অনুগ্রহে আরও অধিক দেন। আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা অপরিমিত রুযী দান করেন।
That Allah may reward them according to the best of their deeds, and add even more for them out of His Grace: for Allah doth provide for those whom He will, without measure. |
(আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ৩৮) |
| 30 |
মুমিন তো তারাই; যারা আল্লাহর ও রসূলের প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং রসূলের সাথে কোন সমষ্টিগত কাজে শরীক হলে তাঁর কাছ থেকে অনুমতি গ্রহণ ব্যতীত চলে যায় না। যারা আপনার কাছে অনুমতি প্রার্থনা করে, তারাই আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে। অতএব তারা আপনার কাছে তাদের কোন কাজের জন্যে অনুমতি চাইলে আপনি তাদের মধ্যে যাকে ইচ্ছা অনুমতি দিন এবং তাদের জন্যে আল্লাহর কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করুন। আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, মেহেরবান।
Only those are believers, who believe in Allah and His Messenger: when they are with him on a matter requiring collective action, they do not depart until they have asked for his leave; those who ask for thy leave are those who believe in Allah and His Messenger; so when they ask for thy leave, for some business of theirs, give leave to those of them whom thou wilt, and ask Allah for their forgiveness: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. |

আয়াতঃ ৬২) |
| 31 |
তারা এ কাজের উপযুক্ত নয় এবং তারা এর সামর্থ?451; রাখে না।
It would neither suit them nor would they be able (to produce it). |
(আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ২১১) |
| 32 |
আল্লাহই তোমাদের সৃষ্টি করেছেন, অতঃপর রিযিক দিয়েছেন, এরপর তোমাদের মৃত্যু দেবেন, এরপর তোমাদের জীবিত করবেন। তোমাদের শরীকদের মধ্যে এমন কেউ আছে কি, যে এসব কাজের মধ্যে কোন একটিও করতে পারবে? তারা যাকে শরীক করে, আল্লাহ তা থেকে পবিত্র ও মহান।
It is Allah Who has created you: further, He has provided for your sustenance; then He will cause you to die; and again He will give you life. Are there any of your (false) "Partners" who can do any single one of these things? Glory to Him! and high is He above the partners they attribute (to him)! |
(আর-রূম:
আয়াতঃ ৪০) |
| 33 |
আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূল কোন কাজের আদেশ করলে কোন ঈমানদার পুরুষ ও ঈমানদার নারীর সে বিষয়ে ভিন্ন ক্ষমতা নেই যে, আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের আদেশ অমান্য করে সে প্রকাশ্য পথভ্রষ্ট তায় পতিত হয়।
It is not fitting for a Believer, man or woman, when a matter has been decided by Allah and His Messenger to have any option about their decision: if any one disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he is indeed on a clearly wrong Path. |

তিনিই জীবিত করেন এবং মৃত্যু দেন। যখন তিনি কোন কাজের আদেশ করেন, তখন একথাই বলেন, হয়ে যা’-তা হয়ে যায়।
It is He Who gives Life and Death; and when He decides upon an affair, He says to it, "Be", and it is. |

আমি অবশ্যই কাফেরদেরকে কঠিন আযাব আস্বাদন করাব এবং আমি অবশ্যই তাদেরকে তাদের মন্দ ও হীন কাজের প্রতিফল দেব।
But We will certainly give the Unbelievers a taste of a severe Penalty, and We will requite them for the worst of their deeds. |

আপনি কি ভেবে দেখেননি, যাদেরকে কানাঘুষা করতে নিষেধ করা হয়েছিল অতঃপর তারা নিষিদ্ধ কাজেরই পুনরাবৃত্তি করে এবং পাপাচার, সীমালংঘন এবং রসূলের অবাধ্যতার বিষয়েই কানাঘুষা করে। তারা যখন আপনার কাছে আসে, তখন আপনাকে এমন ভাষায় সালাম করে, যদ্দ্বারা আল্লাহ আপনাকে সালাম করেননি। তারা মনে মনে বলেঃ আমরা যা বলি, তজ্জন্যে আল্লাহ আমাদেরকে শাস্তি দেন না কেন? জাহান্নামই তাদের জন্যে যথেষ্ট। তারা তাতে প্রবেশ করবে। কতই না নিকৃষ্ট সেই জায়গা।
Turnest thou not thy sight towards those who were forbidden secret counsels yet revert to that which they were forbidden (to do)? And they hold secret counsels among themselves for iniquity and hostility, and disobedience to the Messenger. And when they come to thee, they salute thee, not as Allah salutes thee, (but in crooked ways): And they say to themselves, "Why does not Allah punish us for our words?" Enough for them is Hell: In it will they burn, and evil is that destination! |
(আল মুজাদালাহ:

এতে প্রত্যেক কাজের জন্যে ফেরেশতাগণ ও রূহ অবতীর্ণ হয় তাদের পালনকর্তার নির্দেশক্রমে।
Therein come down the angels and the Spirit by Allah's permission, on every errand: |
