এগুলো আল্লাহর নির্ধারিত সীমা। যে কেউ আল্লাহ ও রসূলের আদেশমত চলে, তিনি তাকে জান্নাত সমূহে প্রবেশ করাবেন, যেগুলোর তলদেশ দিয়ে স্রোতস্বিনী প্রবাহিত হবে। তারা সেখানে চিরকাল থাকবে। এ হল বিরাট সাফল্য।
Those are limits set by Allah: those who obey Allah and His Messenger will be admitted to Gardens with rivers flowing beneath, to abide therein (for ever) and that will be the supreme achievement. |

যে কেউ আল্লাহ ও রসূলের অবাধ্যতা করে এবং তার সীমা অতিক্রম করে তিনি তাকে আগুনে প্রবেশ করাবেন। সে সেখানে চিরকাল থাকবে। তার জন্যে রয়েছে অপমানজনক শাস্তি।
But those who disobey Allah and His Messenger and transgress His limits will be admitted to a Fire, to abide therein: And they shall have a humiliating punishment. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৪) |

আর যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং সৎকর্ম করেছে, অবশ্য আমি প্রবিষ্ট করাব তাদেরকে জান্নাতে, যার তলদেশে প্রবাহিত রয়েছে নহর সমূহ। সেখানে তারা থাকবে অনন্তকাল। সেখানে তাদের জন্য থাকবে পরিষ্কার-পরিচ্ছন্ন স্ত্রীগণ। তাদেরকে আমি প্রবিষ্ট করব ঘন ছায়া নীড়ে।
But those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, We shall soon admit to Gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,- their eternal home: Therein shall they have companions pure and holy: We shall admit them to shades, cool and ever deepening. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৫৭) |

যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছে এবং সৎকর্ম করেছে, আমি তাদেরকে উদ্যানসমূহে প্রবিষ্ট করাব, যেগুলোর তলদেশে নহরসমূহ প্রবাহিত হয়। তারা চিরকাল তথায় অবস্থান করবে। আল্লাহ প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছেন সত্য সত্য। আল্লাহর চাইতে অধিক সত্যবাদী কে?
But those who believe and do deeds of righteousness,- we shall soon admit them to gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,-to dwell therein for ever. Allah's promise is the truth, and whose word can be truer than Allah's? |

আপনি বলুনঃ তিনিই শক্তিমান যে, তোমাদের উপর কোন শাস্তি উপর দিক থেকে অথবা তোমাদের পদতল থেকে প্রেরণ করবেন অথবা তোমাদেরকে দলে-উপদলে বিভক্ত করে সবাইকে মুখোমুখী করে দিবেন এবং এককে অন্যের উপর আক্রমণের স্বাদ আস্বাদন করাবেন। দেখ, আমি কেমন ঘুরিয়ে-ফিরিয়ে নিদর্শনাবলী বর্ণনা করি যাতে তারা বুঝে নেয়।
Say: "He hath power to send calamities on you, from above and below, or to cover you with confusion in party strife, giving you a taste of mutual vengeance - each from the other." See how We explain the signs by various (symbols); that they may understand. |

আয়াতঃ ৬৫) |

আর না আছে তাদের উপর যারা এসেছে তোমার নিকট যেন তুমি তাদের বাহন দান কর এবং তুমি বলেছ, আমার কাছে এমন কোন বস্তু নেই যে, তার উপর তোমাদের সওয়ার করাব তখন তারা ফিরে গেছে অথচ তখন তাদের চোখ দিয়ে অশ্রু বইতেছিল এ দুঃখে যে, তারা এমন কোন বস্তু পাচ্ছে না যা ব্যয় করবে।
Nor (is there blame) on those who came to thee to be provided with mounts, and when thou saidst, "I can find no mounts for you," they turned back, their eyes streaming with tears of grief that they had no resources wherewith to provide the expenses. |

পার্থিবজীবনে সামান্যই লাভ, অতঃপর আমার নিকট প্রত্যাবর্তন করতে হবে। তখন আমি তাদেরকে আস্বাদন করাব কঠিন আযাব-তাদেরই কৃত কুফরীর বদলাতে।
A little enjoyment in this world!- and then, to Us will be their return, then shall We make them taste the severest penalty for their blasphemies. |
(ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৭০) |

হে কারাগারের সঙ্গীরা! তোমাদের একজন আপন প্রভুকে মদ্যপান করাবে এবং দ্বিতীয়জন, তাকে শুলে চড়ানো হবে। অতঃপর তার মস্তক থেকে পাখী আহার করবে। তোমরা যে, বিষয়ে জানার আগ্রহী তার সিদ্ধান্ত হয়ে গেছে।
"O my two companions of the prison! As to one of you, he will pour out the wine for his lord to drink: as for the other, he will hang from the cross, and the birds will eat from off his head. (so) hath been decreed that matter whereof ye twain do enquire"... |

আয়াতঃ ৪১) |

যেদিন আমি প্রত্যেক উম্মত থেকে একজন বর্ণনাকারী দাঁড় করাব, তখন কাফেরদেরকে অনুমতি দেয়া হবে না এবং তাদের তওবা ও গ্রহণ করা হবে না।
One Day We shall raise from all Peoples a Witness: then will no excuse be accepted from Unbelievers, nor will they receive any favours. |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৮৪) |

সেদিন প্রত্যেক উম্মতের মধ্যে আমি একজন বর্ণনাকারী দাঁড় করাব তাদের বিপক্ষে তাদের মধ্য থেকেই এবং তাদের বিষয়ে আপনাকে সাক্ষী স্বরূপ উপস্থাপন করব। আমি আপনার প্রতি গ্রন্থ নাযিল করেছি যেটি এমন যে তা প্রত্যেক বস্তুর সুস্পষ্ট বর্ণনা, হেদায়েত, রহমত এবং মুসলমানদের জন্যে সুসংবাদ।
One day We shall raise from all Peoples a witness against them, from amongst themselves: and We shall bring thee as a witness against these (thy people): and We have sent down to thee the Book explaining all things, a Guide, a Mercy, and Glad Tidings to Muslims. |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৮৯) |
| 11 |
সে পার্শ্ব পরিবর্তন করে বিতর্ক করে, যাতে আল্লাহর পথ থেকে বিভ্রান্ত করে দেয়। তার জন্যে দুনিয়াতে লাঞ্ছনা আছে এবং কেয়ামতের দিন আমি তাকে দহন-যন্ত্রণা আস্বাদন করাব।
(Disdainfully) bending his side, in order to lead (men) astray from the Path of Allah: for him there is disgrace in this life, and on the Day of Judgment We shall make him taste the Penalty of burning (Fire). |
(হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৯) |
| 12 |
যারা কুফর করে ও আল্লাহর পথে বাধা সৃষ্টি করে এবং সেই মসজিদে হারাম থেকে বাধা দেয়, যাকে আমি প্রস্তুত করেছি স্থানীয় ও বহিরাগত সকল মানুষের জন্যে সমভাবে এবং যে মসজিদে হারামে অন্যায়ভাবে কোন ধর্মদ্রোহী কাজ করার ইচছা করে, আমি তাদেরকে যন্ত্রানাদায়ক শাস্তি আস্বাদন করাব।
As to those who have rejected (Allah), and would keep back (men) from the Way of Allah, and from the Sacred Mosque, which We have made (open) to (all) men - equal is the dweller there and the visitor from the country - and any whose purpose therein is profanity or wrong-doing - them will We cause to taste of a most Grievous Penalty. |
(হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ২৫) |

আল্লাহ মুশরিকদেরকে বলবেন, তোমাদের কথা তো তারা মিথ্যা সাব্যস্ত করল, এখন তোমরা শাস্তি প্রতিরোধ করতে পারবে না এবং সাহায্যও করতে পারবে না। তোমাদের মধ্যে যে গোনাহগার আমি তাকে গুরুতর শাস্তি আস্বাদন করাব।
(Allah will say): "Now have they proved you liars in what ye say: so ye cannot avert (your penalty) nor (get) help." And whoever among you does wrong, him shall We cause to taste of a grievous Penalty. |
(আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ১৯) |
| 14 |
গুরু শাস্তির পূর্বে আমি অবশ্যই তাদেরকে লঘু শাস্তি আস্বাদন করাব, যাতে তারা প্রত্যাবর্তন করে।
And indeed We will make them taste of the Penalty of this (life) prior to the supreme Penalty, in order that they may (repent and) return. |
(সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২১) |

আর আমি সোলায়মানের অধীন করেছিলাম বায়ুকে, যা সকালে এক মাসের পথ এবং বিকালে এক মাসের পথ অতিক্রম করত। আমি তার জন্যে গলিত তামার এক ঝরণা প্রবাহিত করেছিলাম। কতক জিন তার সামনে কাজ করত তার পালনকর্তার আদেশে। তাদের যে কেউ আমার আদেশ অমান্য করবে, আমি জ্বলন্ত অগ্নির-শাস্তি আস্বাদন করাব।
And to Solomon (We made) the Wind (obedient): Its early morning (stride) was a month's (journey), and its evening (stride) was a month's (journey); and We made a Font of molten brass to flow for him; and there were Jinns that worked in front of him, by the leave of his Lord, and if any of them turned aside from our command, We made him taste of the Penalty of the Blazing Fire. |
(সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ১২) |
| 16 |
আমি অবশ্যই কাফেরদেরকে কঠিন আযাব আস্বাদন করাব এবং আমি অবশ্যই তাদেরকে তাদের মন্দ ও হীন কাজের প্রতিফল দেব।
But We will certainly give the Unbelievers a taste of a severe Penalty, and We will requite them for the worst of their deeds. |
(হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৭) |
| 17 |
বিপদাপদ স্পর্শ করার পর আমি যদি তাকে আমার অনুগ্রহ আস্বাদন করাই, তখন সে বলতে থাকে, এটা যে আমার যোগ্য প্রাপ্য; আমি মনে করি না যে, কেয়ামত সংঘটিত হবে। আমি যদি আমার পালনকর্তার কাছে ফিরে যাই, তবে অবশ্যই তার কাছে আমার জন্য কল্যাণ রয়েছে। অতএব, আমি কাফেরদেরকে তাদের কর্ম সম্পর্কে অবশ্যই অবহিত করব এবং তাদেরকে অবশ্যই আস্বাদন করাব কঠিন শাস্তি।
When we give him a taste of some Mercy from Ourselves, after some adversity has touched him, he is sure to say, "This is due to my (merit): I think not that the Hour (of Judgment) will (ever) be established; but if I am brought back to my Lord, I have (much) good (stored) in His sight!" But We will show the Unbelievers the truth of all that they did, and We shall give them the taste of a severe Penalty. |
(হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৫০) |
| 18 |
এখন আমি তাদেরকে আমার নিদর্শনাবলী প্রদর্শন করাব পৃথিবীর দিগন্তে এবং তাদের নিজেদের মধ্যে; ফলে তাদের কাছে ফুটে উঠবে যে, এ কোরআন সত্য। আপনার পালনকর্তা সর্ববিষয়ে সাক্ষ্যদাতা, এটা কি যথেষ্ট নয়?
Soon will We show them our Signs in the (furthest) regions (of the earth), and in their own souls, until it becomes manifest to them that this is the Truth. Is it not enough that thy Lord doth witness all things? |
(হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৩) |
| 19 |
যার এ সামর্থ্য নেই, সে একে অপরকে স্পর্শ করার পূর্বে একাদিক্রমে দুই মাস রোযা রাখবে। যে এতেও অক্ষম হয় সে ষাট জন মিসকীনকে আহার করাবে। এটা এজন্যে, যাতে তোমরা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন কর। এগুলো আল্লাহর নির্ধারিত শাস্তি। আর কাফেরদের জন্যে রয়েছে যন্ত্রণা দায়ক আযাব।
And if any has not (the wherewithal), he should fast for two months consecutively before they touch each other. But if any is unable to do so, he should feed sixty indigent ones, this, that ye may show your faith in Allah and His Messenger. Those are limits (set by) Allah. For those who reject (Him), there is a grievous Penalty. |
(আল মুজাদালাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪) |

আমি সত্ত্বরই তাকে শাস্তির পাহাড়ে আরোহণ করাব।
Soon will I visit him with a mount of calamities! |
(আল মুদ্দাসসির:
আয়াতঃ ১৭) |
| 21 |
তাদের আবরণ হবে চিকন সবুজ রেশম ও মোটা সবুজ রেশম এবং তাদেরকে পরিধান করোনো হবে রৌপ্য নির্মিত কংকণ এবং তাদের পালনকর্তা তাদেরকে পান করাবেন ‘শরাবান-তহুরা’।
Upon them will be green Garments of fine silk and heavy brocade, and they will be adorned with Bracelets of silver; and their Lord will give to them to drink of a Wine Pure and Holy. |
