বস্তুতঃ এহেন কাফেরদের উদাহরণ এমন, যেন কেউ এমন কোন জীবকে আহবান করছে যা কোন কিছুই শোনে না, হাঁক-ডাক আর চিৎকার ছাড়া বধির মুক, এবং অন্ধ। সুতরাং তারা কিছুই বোঝে না।
The parable of those who reject Faith is as if one were to shout Like a goat-herd, to things that listen to nothing but calls and cries: Deaf, dumb, and blind, they are void of wisdom. |

সেদিন প্রত্যেকেই যা কিছু সে ভাল কাজ করেছে; চোখের সামনে দেখতে পাবে এবং যা কিছু মন্দ কাজ করেছে তাও, ওরা তখন কামনা করবে, যদি তার এবং এসব কর্মের মধ্যে ব্যবধান দুরের হতো! আল্লাহ তাঁর নিজের সম্পর্কে তোমাদের সাবধান করছেন। আল্লাহ তাঁর বান্দাদের প্রতি অত্যন্ত দয়ালু।
"On the Day when every soul will be confronted with all the good it has done, and all the evil it has done, it will wish there were a great distance between it and its evil. But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself. And Allah is full of kindness to those that serve Him." |
(আল ইমরান:

আর তাদের মধ্যে একদল রয়েছে, যারা বিকৃত উচ্চারণে মুখ বাঁকিয়ে কিতাব পাঠ করে, যাতে তোমরা মনে কর যে, তার কিতাব থেকেই পাঠ করছে। অথচ তারা যা আবৃত্তি করছে তা আদৌ কিতাব নয়। এবং তারা বলে যে, এসব কথা আল্লাহর তরফ থেকে আগত। অথচ এসব আল্লাহর তরফ থেকে প্রেরিত নয়। তারা বলে যে, এটি আল্লাহর কথা অথচ এসব আল্লাহর কথা নয়। আর তারা জেনে শুনে আল্লাহরই প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করে।
There is among them a section who distort the Book with their tongues: (As they read) you would think it is a part of the Book, but it is no part of the Book; and they say, "That is from Allah," but it is not from Allah: It is they who tell a lie against Allah, and (well) they know it! |

আর আল্লাহ যখন নবীগনের কাছ থেকে অস্বীকার গ্রহন করলেন যে, আমি যা কিছু তোমাদের দান করেছি কিতাব ও জ্ঞান এবং অতঃপর তোমাদের নিকট কোন রসূল আসেন তোমাদের কিতাবকে সত্য বলে দেয়ার জন্য, তখন সে রসূলের প্রতি ঈমান আনবে এবং তার সাহায্য করবে। তিনি বললেন, ‘তোমার কি অঙ্গীকার করছো এবং এই শর্তে আমার ওয়াদা গ্রহণ করে নিয়েছ? তারা বললো, ‘আমরা অঙ্গীকার করেছি’। তিনি বললেন, তাহলে এবার সাক্ষী থাক। আর আমিও তোমাদের সাথে সাক্ষী রইলাম।
Behold! Allah took the covenant of the prophets, saying: "I give you a Book and Wisdom; then comes to you a messenger, confirming what is with you; do ye believe in him and render him help." Allah said: "Do ye agree, and take this my Covenant as binding on you?" They said: "We agree." He said: "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses." |

তারা কি আল্লাহর দ্বীনের পরিবর্তে অন্য দ্বীন তালাশ করছে? আসমান ও যমীনে যা কিছু রয়েছে স্বেচ্ছায় হোক বা অনিচ্ছায় হোক, তাঁরই অনুগত হবে এবং তাঁর দিকেই ফিরে যাবে।
Do they seek for other than the Religion of Allah?-while all creatures in the heavens and on earth have, willing or unwilling, bowed to His Will (Accepted Islam), and to Him shall they all be brought back. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৮৩) |

বলুন, হে আহলে কিতাবগণ, কেন তোমরা আল্লাহর কিতাব অমান্য করছো, অথচ তোমরা যা কিছু কর, তা আল্লাহর সামনেই রয়েছে।
Say: "O People of the Book! Why reject ye the Signs of Allah, when Allah is Himself witness to all ye do?" |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৯৮) |

আল্লাহ নিজের অনুগ্রহ থেকে যা দান করেছেন তার প্রেক্ষিতে তারা আনন্দ উদযাপন করছে। আর যারা এখনও তাদের কাছে এসে পৌঁছেনি তাদের পেছনে তাদের জন্যে আনন্দ প্রকাশ করে। কারণ, তাদের কোন ভয় ভীতিও নেই এবং কোন চিন্তা ভাবনাও নেই।
They rejoice in the bounty provided by Allah: And with regard to those left behind, who have not yet joined them (in their bliss), the (Martyrs) glory in the fact that on them is no fear, nor have they (cause to) grieve. |

আয়াতঃ ১৭০) |
| 8 |
অবশ্যই মুনাফেকরা প্রতারণা করছে আল্লাহর সাথে, অথচ তারা নিজেরাই নিজেদের প্রতারিত করে। বস্তুতঃ তারা যখন নামাযে দাঁড়ায় তখন দাঁড়ায়, একান্ত শিথিল ভাবে লোক দেখানোর জন্য। আর তারা আল্লাহকে অল্পই স্মরণ করে।
The Hypocrites - they think they are over-reaching Allah, but He will over-reach them: When they stand up to prayer, they stand without earnestness, to be seen of men, but little do they hold Allah in remembrance; |

আর আপনি তাদের অনেককে দেখবেন যে, দৌড়ে দৌড়ে পাপে, সীমালঙ্ঘনে এবং হারাম ভক্ষনে পতিত হয়। তারা অত্যন্ত মন্দ কাজ করছে।
Many of them dost thou see, racing each other in sin and rancour, and their eating of things forbidden. Evil indeed are the things that they do. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৬২) |
| 10 |
দরবেশ ও আলেমরা কেন তাদেরকে পাপ কথা বলতে এবং হারাম ভক্ষণ করতে নিষেধ করে না? তারা খুবই মন্দ কাজ করছে।
Why do not the rabbis and the doctors of Law forbid them from their (habit of) uttering sinful words and eating things forbidden? Evil indeed are their works. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:

যদি আমি কোন ফেরেশতাকে রসূল করে পাঠাতাম, তবে সে মানুষের আকারেই হত। এতেও ঐ সন্দেহই করত, যা এখন করছে।
If We had made it an angel, We should have sent him as a man, and We should certainly have caused them confusion in a matter which they have already covered with confusion. |

আপনি বলে দিনঃ আমরা কি আল্লাহ ব্যতীত এমন বস্তুকে আহবান করব, যে আমাদের উপকার করতে পারে না এবং ক্ষতিও করতে পারে না এবং আমরা কি পশ্চাৎপদে ফিরে যাব, এরপর যে, আল্লাহ আমাদেরকে পথ প্রদর্শন করেছেন? ঐ ব্যক্তির মত, যাকে শয়তানরা বনভুমিতে বিপথগামী করে দিয়েছে-সে উদভ্রান্ত হয়ে ঘোরাফেরা করছে। তার সহচররা তাকে পথের দিকে ডেকে বলছেঃ আস, আমাদের কাছে। আপনি বলে দিনঃ নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর পথই সুপথ। আমরা আদিষ্ট হয়েছি যাতে স্বীয় পালনকর্তা আজ্ঞাবহ হয়ে যাই।
Say: "Shall we indeed call on others besides Allah,- things that can do us neither good nor harm,- and turn on our heels after receiving guidance from Allah? - like one whom the evil ones have made into a fool, wandering bewildered through the earth, his friends calling, come to us', (vainly) guiding him to the path." Say: "Allah's guidance is the (only) guidance, and we have been directed to submit ourselves to the Lord of the worlds;- |

অতএব, আপনি তাদেরকে এবং তাদের মিথ্যাপবাদকে মুক্ত ছেড়ে দিন যাতে কারুকার্যখচিত বাক্যের প্রতি তাদের মন আকৃষ্ট হয় যারা পরকালে বিশ্বাস করে না এবং তারা একেও পছন্দ করে নেয় এবং যাতে ঐসব কাজ করে, যা তারা করছে।
To such (deceit) let the hearts of those incline, who have no faith in the hereafter: let them delight in it, and let them earn from it what they may. |
(আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১১৩) |
| 14 |
যখন তাদের কাছে কোন আয়াত পৌঁছে, তখন বলে, আমরা কখনই মানব না যে, পর্যন্ত না আমরাও তা প্রদত্ত হই, যা আল্লাহর রসূলগণ প্রদত্ত হয়েছেন। আল্লাহ এ বিষয়ে সুপারিজ্ঞাত যে, কোথায় স্বীয় পয়গাম প্রেরণ করতে হবে। যারা অপরাধ করছে, তারা অতিসত্বর আল্লাহর কাছে পৌছে লাঞ্ছনা ও কঠোর শাস্তি পাবে, তাদের চক্রান্তের কারণে।
When there comes to them a sign (from Allah), They say: "We shall not believe until we receive one (exactly) like those received by Allah's messengers." Allah knoweth best where (and how) to carry out His mission. Soon will the wicked be overtaken by humiliation before Allah, and a severe punishment, for all their plots. |

আয়াতঃ ১২৪) |
| 15 |
অতঃপর আল্লাহ যাকে পথ-প্রদর্শন করতে চান, তার বক্ষকে ইসলামের জন্যে উম্মুক্ত করে দেন এবং যাকে বিপথগামী করতে চান, তার বক্ষকে সংকীর্ণ অত্যধিক সংকীর্ণ করে দেন-যেন সে সবেগে আকাশে আরোহণ করছে। এমনি ভাবে যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে না। আল্লাহ তাদের উপর আযাব বর্ষন করেন।
Those whom Allah (in His plan) willeth to guide,- He openeth their breast to Islam; those whom He willeth to leave straying,- He maketh their breast close and constricted, as if they had to climb up to the skies: thus doth Allah (heap) the penalty on those who refuse to believe. |

আয়াতঃ ১২৫) |
| 16 |
তারপর তাদের পেছনে এসেছে কিছু অপদার্থ, যারা উত্তরাধিকারী হয়েছে কিতাবের; তারা নিকৃষ্ট পার্থিব উপকরণ আহরণ করছে এবং বলছে, আমাদের ক্ষমা করে দেয়া হবে। বস্তুতঃ এমনি ধরনের উপকরণ যদি আবারো তাদের সামনে উপস্থিত হয়, তবে তাও তুলে নেবে। তাদের কাছথেকে কিতাবে কি অঙ্গীকার নেয়া হয়নি যে, আল্লাহর প্রতি সত্য ছাড়া কিছু বলবে না? অথচ তারা সে সবই পাঠ করেছে, যা তাতে লেখা রয়েছে। বস্তুতঃ আখেরাতের আলয় ভীতদের জন্য উত্তম-তোমরা কি তা বোঝ না ?
After them succeeded an (evil) generation: They inherited the Book, but they chose (for themselves) the vanities of this world, saying (for excuse): "(Everything) will be forgiven us." (Even so), if similar vanities came their way, they would (again) seize them. Was not the covenant of the Book taken from them, that they would not ascribe to Allah anything but the truth? and they study what is in the Book. But best for the righteous is the home in the Hereafter. Will ye not understand? |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৬৯) |
| 17 |
যদি আশু লাভের সম্ভাবনা থাকতো এবং যাত্রাপথও সংক্ষিপ্ত হতো, তবে তারা অবশ্যই আপনার সহযাত্রী হতো, কিন্তু তাদের নিকট যাত্রাপথ সুদীর্ঘ মনে হল। আর তারা এমনই শপথ করে বলবে, আমাদের সাধ্য থাকলে অবশ্যই তোমাদের সাথে বের হতাম, এরা নিজেরাই নিজেদের বিনষ্ট করছে, আর আল্লাহ জানেন যে, এরা মিথ্যাবাদী।
If there had been immediate gain (in sight), and the journey easy, they would (all) without doubt have followed thee, but the distance was long, (and weighed) on them. They would indeed swear by Allah, "If we only could, we should certainly have come out with you": They would destroy their own souls; for Allah doth know that they are certainly lying. |
(আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪২) |
| 18 |
অতঃপর তার চেয়ে বড় জালেম, কে হবে, যে আল্লাহর প্রতি অপবাদ আরোপ করেছে কিংবা তাঁর আয়াতসমূহকে মিথ্যা বলে অভিহিত করছে? কস্মিনকালেও পাপীদের কোন কল্যাণ হয় না।
Who doth more wrong than such as forge a lie against Allah, or deny His Signs? But never will prosper those who sin. |
(ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ১৭) |
| 19 |
আর সমস্ত মানুষ একই উম্মতভুক্ত ছিল, পরে পৃথক হয়ে গেছে। আর একটি কথা যদি তোমার পরওয়ারদেগারের পক্ষ থেকে পূর্ব নির্ধারিত না হয়ে যেত; তবে তারা যে বিষয়ে বিরোধ করছে তার মীমাংসা হয়ে যেত।
Mankind was but one nation, but differed (later). Had it not been for a word that went forth before from thy Lord, their differences would have been settled between them. |
(ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ১৯) |
| 20 |
সুতরাং তুমি যদি সে বস্তু সম্পর্কে কোন সন্দেহের সম্মুখীন হয়ে থাক যা তোমার প্রতি আমি নাযিল করেছি, তবে তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করো যারা তোমার পূর্ব থেকে কিতাব পাঠ করছে। এতে কোন সন্দেহ নেই যে, তোমার পরওয়ারদেগারের নিকট থেকে তোমার নিকট সত্য বিষয় এসেছে। কাজেই তুমি কস্মিনকালেও সন্দেহকারী হয়ো না।
If thou wert in doubt as to what We have revealed unto thee, then ask those who have been reading the Book from before thee: the Truth hath indeed come to thee from thy Lord: so be in no wise of those in doubt. |
(ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৯৪) |
| 21 |
অতএব, তারা যেসবের উপাসনা করে তুমি সে ব্যাপারে কোনরূপ ধোঁকায় পড়বে না। তাদের পূর্ববর্তী বাপ-দাদারা যেমন পূজা উপাসনা করত, এরাও তেমন করছে। আর নিশ্চয় আমি তাদেরকে আযাবের ভাগ কিছু মাত্রও কম না করেই পুরোপুরি দান করবো।
Be not then in doubt as to what these men worship. They worship nothing but what their fathers worshipped before (them): but verily We shall pay them back (in full) their portion without (the least) abatement. |

| 22 |
আল্লাহর নির্দেশ এসে গেছে। অতএব এর জন্যে তাড়াহুড়া করো না। ওরা যেসব শরীক সাব্যস্ত করছে সেসব থেকে তিনি পবিত্র ও বহু উর্ধ্বে।
(Inevitable) cometh (to pass) the Command of Allah: seek ye not then to hasten it: Glory to Him, and far is He above having the partners they ascribe unto Him! |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ১) |
| 23 |
কাফেররা কি এখন অপেক্ষা করছে যে, তাদের কাছে ফেরেশতারা আসবে কিংবা আপনার পালনকর্তার নির্দেশ পৌছবে? তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা এমনই করেছিল। আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি অবিচার করেননি; কিন্তু তারা স্বয়ং নিজেদের প্রতি জুলুম করেছিল।
Do the (ungodly) wait until the angels come to them, or there comes the Command of thy Lord (for their doom)? So did those who went before them. But Allah wronged them not: nay, they wronged their own souls. |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩) |
| 24 |
আমি আপনার প্রতি এ জন্যেই গ্রন্থ নাযিল করেছি, যাতে আপনি সরল পথ প্রদর্শনের জন্যে তাদের কে পরিষ্কার বর্ণনা করে দেন, যে বিষয়ে তারা মতবিরোধ করছে এবং ঈমানদারকে ক্ষমা করার জন্যে।
And We sent down the Book to thee for the express purpose, that thou shouldst make clear to them those things in which they differ, and that it should be a guide and a mercy to those who believe. |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৬৪) |
| 25 |
আপনি তাদেরকে পরিতাপের দিবস সম্পর্কে হুশিয়ার করে দিন যখন সব ব্যাপারের মীমাংসা হয়ে যাবে। এখন তারা অনবধানতায় আছে এবং তারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করছে না।
But warn them of the Day of Distress, when the matter will be determined: for (behold,) they are negligent and they do not believe! |
(মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৩৯) |
| 26 |
মূসা বললেনঃ বরং তোমরাই নিক্ষেপ কর। তাদের যাদুর প্রভাবে হঠাৎ তাঁর মনে হল, যেন তাদের রশিগুলো ও লাঠিগুলো চুটাছুটি করছে।
He said, "Nay, throw ye first!" Then behold their ropes and their rods-so it seemed to him on account of their magic - began to be in lively motion! |
(ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৬৬) |
| 27 |
না, তাদের অন্তর এ বিষয়ে অজ্ঞানতায় আচ্ছন্ন, এ ছাড়া তাদের আরও কাজ রয়েছে, যা তারা করছে।
But their hearts are in confused ignorance of this; and there are, besides that, deeds of theirs, which they will (continue) to do,- |
(আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৬৩) |

তারা বলল, আমরা কি তোমাকে মেনে নেব যখন তোমার অনুসরণ করছে ইতরজনেরা?
They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" |
(আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ১১১) |
| 29 |
নূহ বললেন, তারা কি কাজ করছে, তা জানা আমার কি দরকার?
He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? |
(আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ১১২) |
| 30 |
আমি তাকে ও তার সম্প্রদায়কে দেখলাম তারা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে সূর্যকে সেজদা করছে। শয়তান তাদের দৃষ্টিতে তাদের কার্যাবলী সুশোভিত করে দিয়েছে। অতঃপর তাদেরকে সৎপথ থেকে নিবৃত্ত করেছে। অতএব তারা সৎপথ পায় না।
"I found her and her people worshipping the sun besides Allah: Satan has made their deeds seem pleasing in their eyes, and has kept them away from the Path,- so they receive no guidance,- |

আয়াতঃ ২৪) |
| 31 |
বরং পরকাল সম্পর্কে তাদের জ্ঞান নিঃশেষ হয়ে গেছে; বরং তারা এ বিষয়ে সন্দেহ পোষন করছে বরং এ বিষয়ে তারা অন্ধ।
Still less can their knowledge comprehend the Hereafter: Nay, they are in doubt and uncertainty thereanent; nay, they are blind thereunto! |
(নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৬৬) |
| 32 |
অতঃপর তিনি প্রভাতে উঠলেন সে শহরে ভীত-শংকিত অবস্থায়। হঠাৎ তিনি দেখলেন, গতকল্য যে ব্যক্তি তাঁর সাহায্য চেয়েছিল, সে চিৎকার করে তাঁর সাহায্য প্রার্থনা করছে। মূসা তাকে বললেন, তুমি তো একজন প্রকাশ্য পথভ্রষ্ট ব্যক্তি।
So he saw the morning in the city, looking about, in a state of fear, when behold, the man who had, the day before, sought his help called aloud for his help (again). Moses said to him: "Thou art truly, it is clear, a quarrelsome fellow!" |
(আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ১৮) |
| 33 |
এসময় শহরের প্রান্ত থেকে একব্যক্তি ছুটে আসল এবং বলল, হে মূসা, রাজ্যের পরিষদবর্গ তোমাকে হত্যা করার পরমর্শ করছে। অতএব, তুমি বের হয়ে যাও। আমি তোমার হিতাকাঙ্ক্ষী।
And there came a man, running, from the furthest end of the City. He said: "O Moses! the Chiefs are taking counsel together about thee, to slay thee: so get thee away, for I do give thee sincere advice." |
(আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ২০) |
| 34 |
তারা আপনাকে আযাব ত্বরান্বিত করতে বলে; অথচ জাহান্নাম কাফেরদেরকে ঘেরাও করছে।
They ask thee to hasten on the Punishment: but, of a surety, Hell will encompass the Rejecters of Faith!- |
(আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৫৪) |
| 35 |
তারা যে বিষয়ে মত বিরোধ করছে, আপনার পালনকর্তাই কেয়ামতের দিন সে বিষয়ে তাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা দেবেন।
Verily thy Lord will judge between them on the Day of Judgment, in the matters wherein they differ (among themselves) |
(সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৫) |
| 36 |
অতএব আপনি তাদের থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিন এবং অপেক্ষা করুন, তারাও অপেক্ষা করছে।
So turn away from them, and wait: they too are waiting. |
(সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩০) |
| 37 |
মুমিনদের মধ্যে কতক আল্লাহর সাথে কৃত ওয়াদা পূর্ণ করেছে। তাদের কেউ কেউ মৃত্যুবরণ করেছে এবং কেউ কেউ প্রতীক্ষা করছে। তারা তাদের সংকল্প মোটেই পরিবর্তন করেনি।
Among the Believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah: of them some have completed their vow (to the extreme), and some (still) wait: but they have never changed (their determination) in the least: |

পৃথিবীতে ঔদ্ধত্যের কারণে এবং কুচক্রের কারণে। কুচক্র কুচক্রীদেরকেই ঘিরে ধরে। তারা কেবল পূর্ববর্তীদের দশারই অপেক্ষা করছে। অতএব আপনি আল্লাহর বিধানে পরিবর্তন পাবেন না এবং আল্লাহর রীতি-নীতিতে কোন রকম বিচ্যুতিও পাবেন না।
On account of their arrogance in the land and their plotting of Evil, but the plotting of Evil will hem in only the authors thereof. Now are they but looking for the way the ancients were dealt with? But no change wilt thou find in Allah's way (of dealing): no turning off wilt thou find in Allah's way (of dealing). |
(ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ৪৩) |

তারা কেবল একটা ভয়াবহ শব্দের অপেক্ষা করছে, যা তাদেরকে আঘাত করবে তাদের পারস্পরিক বাকবিতন্ডাকালে।
They will not (have to) wait for aught but a single Blast: it will seize them while they are yet disputing among themselves! |
(ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯) |
| 40 |
কেবল একটি মহানাদের অপেক্ষা করছে, যাতে দম ফেলার অবকাশ থাকবে না।
These (today) only wait for a single mighty Blast, which (when it comes) will brook no delay. |
(ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ১৫) |
| 41 |
এই তো একদল তোমাদের সাথে প্রবেশ করছে। তাদের জন্যে অভিনন্দন নেই তারা তো জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ করবে।
Here is a troop rushing headlong with you! No welcome for them! truly, they shall burn in the Fire! |

আমরা কি অহেতুক তাদেরকে ঠাট্টার পাত্র করে নিয়েছিলাম, না আমাদের দৃষ্টি ভুল করছে?
"Did we treat them (as such) in ridicule, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" |
(ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৩) |
| 43 |
যারা সত্য নিয়ে আগমন করছে এবং সত্যকে সত্য মেনে নিয়েছে; তারাই তো খোদাভীরু।
And he who brings the Truth and he who confirms (and supports) it - such are the men who do right. |
(আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩) |

আপনি ফেরেশতাগণকে দেখবেন, তারা আরশের চার পাশ ঘিরে তাদের পালনকর্তার পবিত্রতা ঘোষনা করছে। তাদের সবার মাঝে ন্যায় বিচার করা হবে। বলা হবে, সমস্ত প্রশংসা বিশ্বপালক আল্লাহর।
And thou wilt see the angels surrounding the Throne (Divine) on all sides, singing Glory and Praise to their Lord. The Decision between them (at Judgment) will be in (perfect) justice, and the cry (on all sides) will be, "Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds!" |

আয়াতঃ ৭৫) |

তারা কেবল কেয়ামতেরই অপেক্ষা করছে যে, আকস্মিকভাবে তাদের কাছে এসে যাবে এবং তারা খবর ও রাখবে না।
Do they only wait for the Hour - that it should come on them all of a sudden, while they perceive not? |

আয়াতঃ ৬৬) |

এতদসত্ত্বেও এরা সন্দেহে পতিত হয়ে ক্রীড়া-কৌতুক করছে।
Yet they play about in doubt. |
(আদ দোখান:
আয়াতঃ ৯) |
| 47 |
অতএব, আপনি অপেক্ষা করুন, তারাও অপেক্ষা করছে।
So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. |
(আদ দোখান:
আয়াতঃ ৫৯) |
| 48 |
যে সৎকাজ করছে, সে নিজের কল্যাণার্থেই তা করছে, আর যে অসৎকাজ করছে, তা তার উপরই বর্তাবে। অতঃপর তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার দিকে প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে।
If any one does a righteous deed, it ensures to the benefit of his own soul; if he does evil, it works against (his own soul). In the end will ye (all) be brought back to your Lord. |
(আল জাসিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ১৫) |

তারা শুধু এই অপেক্ষাই করছে যে, কেয়ামত অকস্মাৎ তাদের কাছে এসে পড়ুক। বস্তুতঃ কেয়ামতের লক্ষণসমূহ তো এসেই পড়েছে। সুতরাং কেয়ামত এসে পড়লে তারা উপদেশ গ্রহণ করবে কেমন করে ?
Do they then only wait for the Hour,- that it should come on them of a sudden? But already have come some tokens thereof, and when it (actually) is on them, how can they benefit then by their admonition? |

আয়াতঃ ১৮) |

শুন, তোমরাই তো তারা, যাদেরকে আল্লাহর পথে ব্যয় করার আহবান জানানো হচ্ছে, অতঃপর তোমাদের কেউ কেউ কৃপণতা করছে। যারা কৃপণতা করছে, তারা নিজেদের প্রতিই কৃপণতা করছে। আল্লাহ অভাবমুক্ত এবং তোমরা অভাবগ্রস্থ। যদি তোমরা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নাও, তবে তিনি তোমাদের পরিবর্তে অন্য জাতিকে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করবেন, এরপর তারা তোমাদের মত হবে না।
Behold, ye are those invited to spend (of your substance) in the Way of Allah: But among you are some that are niggardly. But any who are niggardly are so at the expense of their own souls. But Allah is free of all wants, and it is ye that are needy. If ye turn back (from the Path), He will substitute in your stead another people; then they would not be like you! |
(মুহাম্মদ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৮) |

তারা মিথ্যারোপ করছে এবং নিজেদের খেয়াল-খুশীর অনুসরণ করছে। প্রত্যেক কাজ যথাসময়ে স্থিরীকৃত হয়।
They reject (the warning) and follow their (own) lusts but every matter has its appointed time. |
(আল ক্বামার:
আয়াতঃ ৩) |
| 52 |
যে নারী তার স্বামীর বিষয়ে আপনার সাথে বাদানুবাদ করছে এবং অভিযোগ পেশ করছে আল্লাহর দরবারে, আল্লাহ তার কথা শুনেছেন। আল্লাহ আপনাদের উভয়ের কথাবার্তা শুনেন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সবকিছু শুনেন, সবকিছু দেখেন।
Allah has indeed heard (and accepted) the statement of the woman who pleads with thee concerning her husband and carries her complaint (in prayer) to Allah: and Allah (always) hears the arguments between both sides among you: for Allah hears and sees (all things). |

মুমিনগণ, তোমরা আমার ও তোমাদের শত্রুদেরকে বন্ধরূপে গ্রহণ করো না। তোমরা তো তাদের প্রতি বন্ধুত্বের বার্তা পাঠাও, অথচ তারা যে সত্য তোমাদের কাছে আগমন করেছে, তা অস্বীকার করছে। তারা রসূলকে ও তোমাদেরকে বহিস্কার করে এই অপরাধে যে, তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস রাখ। যদি তোমরা আমার সন্তুষ্টিলাভের জন্যে এবং আমার পথে জেহাদ করার জন্যে বের হয়ে থাক, তবে কেন তাদের প্রতি গোপনে বন্ধুত্বের পয়গাম প্রেরণ করছ? তোমরা যা গোপন কর এবং যা প্রকাশ কর, ত আমি খুব জানি। তোমাদের মধ্যে যে এটা করে, সে সরলপথ থেকে বিচ্যুত হয়ে যায়।
O ye who believe! Take not my enemies and yours as friends (or protectors),- offering them (your) love, even though they have rejected the Truth that has come to you, and have (on the contrary) driven out the Prophet and yourselves (from your homes), (simply) because ye believe in Allah your Lord! If ye have come out to strive in My Way and to seek My Good Pleasure, (take them not as friends), holding secret converse of love (and friendship) with them: for I know full well all that ye conceal and all that ye reveal. And any of you that does this has strayed from the Straight Path. |

আয়াতঃ ১) |
| 54 |
তারা তাদের শপথসমূহকে ঢালরূপে ব্যবহার করে। অতঃপর তারা আল্লাহর পথে বাধা সৃষ্টি করে। তারা যা করছে, তা খুবই মন্দ।
They have made their oaths a screen (for their misdeeds): thus they obstruct (men) from the Path of Allah: truly evil are their deeds. |
(মুনাফিকুন:
আয়াতঃ ২) |
| 55 |
হে নবী, আল্লাহ আপনার জন্যে যা হালাল করছেন, আপনি আপনার স্ত্রীদেরকে খুশী করার জন্যে তা নিজের জন্যে হারাম করেছেন কেন? আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, দয়াময়।
O Prophet! Why holdest thou to be forbidden that which Allah has made lawful to thee? Thou seekest to please thy consorts. But Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. |
(আত-তাহরীম:
আয়াতঃ ১) |

তাদের উত্তম ব্যক্তি বললঃ আমি কি তোমাদেরকে বলিনি? এখনও তোমরা আল্লাহ তা’আলার পবিত্রতা বর্ণনা করছো না কেন?
Said one of them, more just (than the rest): "Did I not say to you, 'Why not glorify (Allah)?'" |
(আল কলম:
আয়াতঃ ২৮) |
| 57 |
নূহ বললঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আমার সম্প্রদায় আমাকে অমান্য করেছে আর অনুসরণ করছে এমন লোককে, যার ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি কেবল তার ক্ষতিই বৃদ্ধি করছে।
Noah said: "O my Lord! They have disobeyed me, but they follow (men) whose wealth and children give them no increase but only Loss. |
(নূহ:
আয়াতঃ ২১) |

আর তারা ভয়ানক চক্রান্ত করছে।
"And they have devised a tremendous Plot. |
(নূহ:
আয়াতঃ ২২) |
| 59 |
তারা পরস্পরে কি বিষয়ে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করছে?
Concerning what are they disputing? |
(আন-নাবা:
আয়াতঃ ১) |
| 60 |
আজ যারা বিশ্বাসী, তারা কাফেরদেরকে উপহাস করছে।
But on this Day the Believers will laugh at the Unbelievers: |

| 61 |
সিংহাসনে বসে, তাদেরকে অবলোকন করছে,
On Thrones (of Dignity) they will command (a sight) (of all things). |
(আত-তাতফীফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫) |
