এরাই পরকালের বিনিময়ে পার্থিব জীবন ক্রয় করেছে। অতএব এদের শাস্তি লঘু হবে না এবং এরা সাহায্যও পাবে না।
These are the people who buy the life of this world at the price of the Hereafter: their penalty shall not be lightened nor shall they be helped. |
(আল বাকারা:

এরাই হল সে সমস্ত লোক, যারা হেদায়েতের বিনিময়ে গোমরাহী খরিদ করেছে এবং (খরিদ করেছে) ক্ষমা ও অনুগ্রহের বিনিময়ে আযাব। অতএব, তারা দোযখের উপর কেমন ধৈর্য্য ধারণকারী।
They are the ones who buy Error in place of Guidance and Torment in place of Forgiveness. Ah! what boldness (They show) for the Fire! |

যারা ঈমান এনেছে, আল্লাহ তাদের অভিভাবক। তাদেরকে তিনি বের করে আনেন অন্ধকার থেকে আলোর দিকে। আর যারা কুফরী করে তাদের অভিভাবক হচ্ছে তাগুত। তারা তাদেরকে আলো থেকে বের করে অন্ধকারের দিকে নিয়ে যায়। এরাই হলো দোযখের অধিবাসী, চিরকাল তারা সেখানেই থাকবে।
Allah is the Protector of those who have faith: from the depths of darkness He will lead them forth into light. Of those who reject faith the patrons are the evil ones: from light they will lead them forth into the depths of darkness. They will be companions of the fire, to dwell therein (For ever). |

এরাই হলো সে লোক যাদের সমগ্র আমল দুনিয়া ও আখেরাত উভয়লোকেই বিনষ্ট হয়ে গেছে। পক্ষান্তরে তাদের কোন সাহায্যকারীও নেই।
They are those whose works will bear no fruit in this world and in the Hereafter nor will they have anyone to help. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ২২) |

তারা আল্লাহর প্রতি ও কিয়ামত দিবসের প্রতি ঈমান রাখে এবং কল্যাণকর বিষয়ের নির্দেশ দেয়; অকল্যাণ থেকে বারণ করে এবং সৎকাজের জন্য সাধ্যমত চেষ্টা করতে থাকে। আর এরাই হল সৎকর্মশীল।
They believe in Allah and the Last Day; they enjoin what is right, and forbid what is wrong; and they hasten (in emulation) in (all) good works: They are in the ranks of the righteous. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১১৪) |

এরা যে রয়েছে, এরাই হলে শয়তান, এরা নিজেদের বন্ধুদের ব্যাপারে ভীতি প্রদর্শন করে। সুতরাং তোমরা তাদের ভয় করো না। আর তোমরা যদি ঈমানদার হয়ে থাক, তবে আমাকে ভয় কর।
It is only the Evil One that suggests to you the fear of his votaries: Be ye not afraid of them, but fear Me, if ye have Faith. |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৭৫) |

অবশ্যই আল্লাহ তাদের তওবা কবুল করবেন, যারা ভূলবশতঃ মন্দ কাজ করে, অতঃপর অনতিবিলম্বে তওবা করে; এরাই হল সেসব লোক যাদেরকে আল্লাহ ক্ষমা করে দেন। আল্লাহ মহাজ্ঞানী, রহস্যবিদ।
Allah accept the repentance of those who do evil in ignorance and repent soon afterwards; to them will Allah turn in mercy: For Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৭) |

প্রকৃতপক্ষে এরাই সত্য প্রত্যাখ্যাকারী। আর যারা সত্য প্রত্যাখ্যানকারী তাদের জন্য তৈরী করে রেখেছি অপমানজনক আযাব।
They are in truth (equally) unbelievers; and we have prepared for unbelievers a humiliating punishment. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৫১) |

মুসলমানরা বলবেঃ এরাই কি সেসব লোক, যারা আল্লাহর নামে প্রতিজ্ঞা করত যে, আমরা তোমাদের সাথে আছি? তাদের কৃতকর্মসমূহ বিফল হয়ে গেছে, ফলে তারা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়ে আছে।
And those who believe will say: "Are these the men who swore their strongest oaths by Allah, that they were with you?" All that they do will be in vain, and they will fall into (nothing but) ruin. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৩) |

আল্লাহ বলবেনঃ তোমাদের পূর্বে জিন ও মানবের যেসব সম্প্রদায় চলে গেছে, তাদের সাথে তোমরাও দোযখে যাও। যখন এক সম্প্রদায় প্রবেশ করবে; তখন অন্য সম্প্রদায়কে অভিসম্পাত করবে। এমনকি, যখন তাতে সবাই পতিত হবে, তখন পরবর্তীরা পূর্ববর্তীদের সম্পর্কে বলবেঃ হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক এরাই আমাদেরকে বিপথগামী করেছিল। অতএব, আপনি তাদেরকে দ্বিগুণ শাস্তি দিন। আল্লাহ বলবেন প্রত্যেকেরই দ্বিগুণ; তোমরা জান না।
He will say: "Enter ye in the company of the peoples who passed away before you - men and jinns, - into the Fire." Every time a new people enters, it curses its sister-people (that went before), until they follow each other, all into the Fire. Saith the last about the first: "Our Lord! it is these that misled us: so give them a double penalty in the Fire." He will say: "Doubled for all": but this ye do not understand. |

আয়াতঃ ৩৮) |

যাতে পৃথক করে দেন আল্লাহ অপবিত্র ও না-পাককে পবিত্র ও পাক থেকে। আর যাতে একটির পর একটিকে স্থাপন করে সমবেত স্তুপে পরিণত করেন এবং পরে দোযখে নিক্ষেপ করেন। এরাই হল ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।
In order that Allah may separate the impure from the pure, put the impure, one on another, heap them together, and cast them into Hell. They will be the ones to have lost. |
(আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৩৭) |
| 12 |
তোমরা কি সেই দলের সাথে যুদ্ধ করবে না; যারা ভঙ্গ করেছে নিজেদের শপথ এবং সঙ্কল্প নিয়েছে রসূলকে বহিস্কারের? আর এরাই প্রথম তোমাদের সাথে বিবাদের সূত্রপাত করেছে। তোমরা কি তাদের ভয় কর? অথচ তোমাদের ভয়ের অধিকতর যোগ্য হলেন আল্লাহ, যদি তোমরা মুমিন হও।
Will ye not fight people who violated their oaths, plotted to expel the Messenger, and took the aggressive by being the first (to assault) you? Do ye fear them? Nay, it is Allah Whom ye should more justly fear, if ye believe! |
(আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৩) |
| 13 |
এরাই হল সেসব লোক আখেরাতে যাদের জন্য আগুন ছাড়া নেই। তারা এখানে যা কিছু করেছিল সবই বরবাদ করেছে; আর যা কিছু উপার্জন করেছিল, সবই বিনষ্ট হল।
They are those for whom there is nothing in the Hereafter but the Fire: vain are the designs they frame therein, and of no effect and the deeds that they do! |

আয়াতঃ ১৬) |
| 14 |
আর তাদের চেয়ে বড় যালেম কে হতে পারে, যারা আল্লাহর প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করে। এসব লোককে তাদের পালনকর্তার সাক্ষাত সম্মূখীন করা হবে আর সাক্ষিগণ বলতে থাকবে, এরাই ঐসব লোক, যারা তাদের পালনকর্তার প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল। শুনে রাখ, যালেমদের উপর আল্লাহর অভিসম্পাত রয়েছে।
Who doth more wrong than those who invent a life against Allah? They will be turned back to the presence of their Lord, and the witnesses will say, "These are the ones who lied against their Lord! Behold! the Curse of Allah is on those who do wrong!- |
(হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ১৮) |
| 15 |
যারা আল্লাহর পথে বাধা দেয়, আর তাতে বক্রতা খুজে বেড়ায়, এরাই আখরাতকে অস্বীকার করে।
"Those who would hinder (men) from the path of Allah and would seek in it something crooked: these were they who denied the Hereafter!" |
(হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ১৯) |
| 16 |
আখেরাতে এরাই হবে সর্বাধিক ক্ষতিগ্রস্থ কোন সন্দেহ নেই।
Without a doubt, these are the very ones who will lose most in the Hereafter! |
(হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ২২) |
| 17 |
যদি আপনি বিস্ময়ের বিষয় চান, তবে তাদের একথা বিস্ময়কর যে, আমরা যখন মাটি হয়ে যাব, তখনও কি নতুন ভাবে সৃজিত হব? এরাই স্বীয় পালনকর্তার সত্তায় অবিশ্বাসী হয়ে গেছে, এদের গর্দানেই লৌহ-শৃংখল পড়বে এবং এরাই দোযখী এরা তাতে চিরকাল থাকবে।
If thou dost marvel (at their want of faith), strange is their saying: "When we are (actually) dust, shall we indeed then be in a creation renewed?" They are those who deny their Lord! They are those round whose necks will be yokes (of servitude): they will be Companions of the Fire, to dwell therein (for aye)! |
(রা'দ:
আয়াতঃ ৫) |
| 18 |
মুশরিকরা যখন ঐ সব বস্তুকে দেখবে, যেসবকে তারা আল্লাহর সাথে শরীক সাব্যস্ত করেছিল, তখন বলবেঃ হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা এরাই তারা যারা আমাদের শেরেকীর উপাদান, তোমাকে ছেড়ে আমরা যাদেরকে ডাকতাম। তখন ওরা তাদেরকে বলবেঃ তোমরা মিথ্যাবাদী।
When those who gave partners to Allah will see their "partners", they will say: "Our Lord! these are our 'partners,' those whom we used to invoke besides Thee." But they will throw back their word at them (and say): "Indeed ye are liars!" |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৮৬) |
| 19 |
এরাই তারা, আল্লাহ তা’য়ালা এদেরই অন্তর, কর্ণ ও চক্ষুর উপর মোহর মেরে দিয়েছেন এবং এরাই কান্ড জ্ঞানহীন।
Those are they whose hearts, ears, and eyes Allah has sealed up, and they take no heed. |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ১০৮) |
| 20 |
বলাবাহুল্য পরকালে এরাই ক্ষতি গ্রস্ত হবে।
Without doubt, in the Hereafter they will perish. |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ১০৯) |
| 21 |
এরাই তারা-নবীগণের মধ্য থেকে যাদেরকে আল্লাহ তা’আলা নেয়ামত দান করেছেন। এরা আদমের বংশধর এবং যাদেরকে আমি নূহের সাথে নৌকায় আরোহন করিয়েছিলাম, তাদের বংশধর, এবং ইব্রাহীম ও ইসরাঈলের বংশধর এবং যাদেরকে আমি পথ প্রদর্শন করেছি ও মনোনীত করেছি, তাদের বংশোদ্ভূত। তাদের কাছে যখন দয়াময় আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহ পাঠ করা হত, তখন তারা সেজদায় লুটিয়ে পড়ত এবং ক্রন্দন করত।
Those were some of the prophets on whom Allah did bestow His Grace,- of the posterity of Adam, and of those who We carried (in the Ark) with Noah, and of the posterity of Abraham and Israel of those whom We guided and chose. Whenever the Signs of (Allah) Most Gracious were rehearsed to them, they would fall down in prostrate adoration and in tears. |
(মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৫৮) |
| 22 |
যারা সতী-সাধ্বী নারীর প্রতি অপবাদ আরোপ করে অতঃপর স্বপক্ষে চার জন পুরুষ সাক্ষী উপস্থিত করে না, তাদেরকে আশিটি বেত্রাঘাত করবে এবং কখনও তাদের সাক্ষ্য কবুল করবে না। এরাই না’ফারমান।
And those who launch a charge against chaste women, and produce not four witnesses (to support their allegations),- flog them with eighty stripes; and reject their evidence ever after: for such men are wicked transgressors;- |

| 23 |
এসব লোকই তাদের পরওয়ারদেগারের তরফ থেকে আগত হেদায়েতের উপর প্রতিষ্ঠিত এবং এরাই সফলকাম।
These are on (true) guidance from their Lord: and these are the ones who will prosper. |
(লোকমান:
আয়াতঃ ৫) |
| 24 |
সামুদ, লূতের সম্প্রদায় ও আইকার লোকেরা। এরাই ছিল বহু বাহিনী।
And Thamud, and the people of Lut, and the Companions of the Wood; - such were the Confederates. |
