তারা তোমাকে মদ ও জুয়া সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞেস করে। বলে দাও, এতদুভয়ের মধ্যে রয়েছে মহাপাপ। আর মানুষের জন্যে উপকারিতাও রয়েছে, তবে এগুলোর পাপ উপকারিতা অপেক্ষা অনেক বড়। আর তোমার কাছে জিজ্ঞেস করে, কি তারা ব্যয় করবে? বলে দাও, নিজেদের প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যয়ের পর যা বাঁচে তাই খরচ করবে। এভাবেই আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্যে নির্দেশ সুস্পষ্টরূপে বর্ণনা করেন, যাতে তোমরা চিন্তা করতে পার।
They ask thee concerning wine and gambling. Say: "In them is great sin, and some profit, for men; but the sin is greater than the profit." They ask thee how much they are to spend; Say: "What is beyond your needs." Thus doth Allah Make clear to you His Signs: In order that ye may consider- |

নিশ্চয় তারা কাফের, যারা বলে, মসীহ ইবনে মরিয়মই আল্লাহ। আপনি জিজ্ঞেস করুন, যদি তাই হয়, তবে বল যদি আল্লাহ মসীহ ইবনে মরিয়ম, তাঁর জননী এবং ভূমন্ডলে যারা আছে, তাদের সবাইকে ধ্বংস করতে চান, তবে এমন কারও সাধ্য আছে কি যে আল্লাহর কাছ থেকে তাদেরকে বিন্দুমাত্রও বাঁচাতে পারে? নভোমন্ডল, ভুমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যে যা আছে, সবকিছুর উপর আল্লাহ তা’আলার আধিপত্য। তিনি যা ইচ্ছা সৃষ্টি করেন। আল্লাহ সবকিছুর উপর শক্তিমান।
In blasphemy indeed are those that say that Allah is Christ the son of Mary. Say: "Who then hath the least power against Allah, if His will were to destroy Christ the son of Mary, his mother, and all every - one that is on the earth? For to Allah belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between. He createth what He pleaseth. For Allah hath power over all things." |

ইহুদী ও খ্রীষ্টানরা বলে, আমরা আল্লাহর সন্তান ও তাঁর প্রিয়জন। আপনি বলুন, তবে তিনি তোমাদেরকে পাপের বিনিময়ে কেন শাস্তি দান করবেন? বরং তোমারও অন্যান্য সৃষ্ট মানবের অন্তর্ভুক্ত সাধারণ মানুষ। তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা ক্ষমা করেন এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা শাস্তি প্রদান করেন। নভোমন্ডল, ভুমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যে যা কিছু আছে, তাতে আল্লাহরই আধিপত্য রয়েছে এবং তাঁর দিকেই প্রত্যাবর্তন করতে হবে।
(Both) the Jews and the Christians say: "We are sons of Allah, and his beloved." Say: "Why then doth He punish you for your sins? Nay, ye are but men,- of the men he hath created: He forgiveth whom He pleaseth, and He punisheth whom He pleaseth: and to Allah belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between: and unto Him is the final goal (of all)" |

নভোমন্ডল, ভূমন্ডল এবং এতদুভয়ে অবস্থিত সবকিছুর আধিপত্য আল্লাহরই। তিনি সবকিছুর উপর ক্ষমতাবান।
To Allah doth belong the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is therein, and it is He Who hath power over all things. |

ইহুদীদের জন্যে আমি প্রত্যেক নখবিশিষ্ট জন্তু হারাম করেছিলাম এবং ছাগল ও গরু থেকে এতদুভয়ের চর্বি আমি তাদের জন্যে হারাম করেছিলাম, কিন্তু ঐ চর্বি, যা পৃষ্টে কিংবা অন্ত্রে সংযুক্ত থাকে অথবা অস্থির সাথে মিলিত থাকে। তাদের অবাধ্যতার কারণে আমি তাদেরকে এ শাস্তি দিয়েছিলাম। আর আমি অবশ্যই সত্যবাদী।
For those who followed the Jewish Law, We forbade every (animal) with undivided hoof, and We forbade them that fat of the ox and the sheep, except what adheres to their backs or their entrails, or is mixed up with a bone: this in recompense for their wilful disobedience: for We are true (in Our ordinances). |

আমি নভোমন্ডল, ভুমন্ডল এবং এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী যা আছে তা তাৎপর্যহীন সৃষ্টি করিনি। কেয়ামত অবশ্যই আসবে। অতএব পরম ঔদাসীন্যের সাথে ওদের ক্রিয়াকর্ম উপক্ষো করুন।
We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, but for just ends. And the Hour is surely coming (when this will be manifest). So overlook (any human faults) with gracious forgiveness. |

বলুনঃ আল্লাহ বলে আহবান কর কিংবা রহমান বলে, যে নামেই আহবান কর না কেন, সব সুন্দর নাম তাঁরই। আপনি নিজের নামায আদায়কালে স্বর উচ্চগ্রাসে নিয়ে গিয়ে পড়বেন না এবং নিঃশব্দেও পড়বেন না। এতদুভয়ের মধ্যমপন্থা অবলম্বন করুন।
Say: "Call upon Allah, or call upon Rahman: by whatever name ye call upon Him, (it is well): for to Him belong the Most Beautiful Names. Neither speak thy Prayer aloud, nor speak it in a low tone, but seek a middle course between." |

তিনি নভোমন্ডল, ভূমন্ডলে এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবার পালনকর্তা। সুতরাং তাঁরই বন্দেগী করুন এবং তাতে দৃঢ় থাকুন আপনি কি তাঁর সমনাম কাউকে জানেন?
"Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and of all that is between them; so worship Him, and be constant and patient in His worship: knowest thou of any who is worthy of the same Name as He?" |

নভোমন্ডলে, ভুমন্ডলে, এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী স্থানে এবং সিক্ত ভূগর্ভে যা আছে, তা তাঁরই।
To Him belongs what is in the heavens and on earth, and all between them, and all beneath the soil. |

আকাশ পৃথিবী এতদুভয়ের মধ্যে যা আছে, তা আমি ক্রীড়াচ্ছলে সৃষ্টি করিনি।
Not for (idle) sport did We create the heavens and the earth and all that is between! |

আয়াতঃ ১৬) |

তিনি নভোমন্ডল, ভূমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের অন্তর্বর্তী সবকিছু ছয়দিনে সৃস্টি করেছেন, অতঃপর আরশে সমাসীন হয়েছেন। তিনি পরম দয়াময়। তাঁর সম্পর্কে যিনি অবগত, তাকে জিজ্ঞেস কর।
He Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between, in six days, and is firmly established on the Throne (of Authority): Allah Most Gracious: ask thou, then, about Him of any acquainted (with such things). |

আয়াতঃ ৫৯) |

এবং তারা যখন ব্যয় করে, তখন অযথা ব্যয় করে না কৃপণতাও করে না এবং তাদের পন্থা হয় এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী।
Those who, when they spend, are not extravagant and not niggardly, but hold a just (balance) between those (extremes); |

মূসা বলল, তিনি নভোমন্ডল, ভূমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছুর পালনকর্তা যদি তোমরা বিশ্বাসী হও।
(Moses) said: "The Lord and Cherisher of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- if ye want to be quite sure." |
(আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ২৪) |

মূসা বলল, তিনি পূর্ব, পশ্চিম ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সব কিছুর পালনকর্তা, যদি তোমরা বোঝ।
(Moses) said: "Lord of the East and the West, and all between! if ye only had sense!" |
(আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ২৮) |

বলুন, তোমরা সত্যবাদী হলে এখন আল্লাহর কাছ থেকে কোন কিতাব আন, যা এতদুভয় থেকে উত্তম পথপ্রদর্শক হয়। আমি সেই কিতাব অনুসরণ করব।
Say: "Then bring ye a Book from Allah, which is a better guide than either of them, that I may follow it! (do), if ye are truthful!" |

আয়াতঃ ৪৯) |

তারা কি তাদের মনে ভেবে দেখে না যে, আল্লাহ নভোমন্ডল, ভূমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছু সৃষ্টি করেছেন যথাযথরূপে ও নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের জন্য, কিন্তু অনেক মানুষ তাদের পালনকর্তার সাক্ষাতে অবিশ্বাসী।
Do they not reflect in their own minds? Not but for just ends and for a term appointed, did Allah create the heavens and the earth, and all between them: yet are there truly many among men who deny the meeting with their Lord (at the Resurrection)! |

আল্লাহ যিনি নভোমন্ডল, ভুমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছু ছয় দিনে সৃষ্টি করেছেন, অতঃপর তিনি আরশে বিরাজমান হয়েছেন। তিনি ব্যতীত তোমাদের কোন অভিভাবক ও সুপারিশকারী নেই। এরপরও কি তোমরা বুঝবে না?
It is Allah Who has created the heavens and the earth, and all between them, in six Days, and is firmly established on the Throne (of Authority): ye have none, besides Him, to protect or intercede (for you): will ye not then receive admonition? |

তিনি আসমান সমূহ, যমীনও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছুর পালনকর্তা এবং পালনকর্তা উদয়াচলসমূহের।
Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all between them, and Lord of every point at the rising of the sun! |

নাকি নভোমন্ডল, ভূমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছুর উপর তাদের সাম্রাজ্য রয়েছে? থাকলে তাদের আকাশে আরোহণ করা উচিত রশি ঝুলিয়ে।
Or have they the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all between? If so, let them mount up with the ropes and means (to reach that end)! |
(ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ১০) |

আমি আসমান-যমীন ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী কোন কিছু অযথা সৃষ্টি করিনি। এটা কাফেরদের ধারণা। অতএব, কাফেরদের জন্যে রয়েছে দূর্ভোগ অর্থাৎ জাহান্নাম।
Not without purpose did We create heaven and earth and all between! that were the thought of Unbelievers! but woe to the Unbelievers because of the Fire (of Hell)! |

তিনি আসমান-যমীন ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সব কিছুর পালনকর্তা, পরাক্রমশালী, মার্জনাকারী।
"The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." |

তাঁর এক নিদর্শন নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের সৃষ্টি এবং এতদুভয়ের মধ্যে তিনি যেসব জীব-জন্তু ছড়িয়ে দিয়েছেন। তিনি যখন ইচ্ছা এগুলোকে একত্রিত করতে সক্ষম।
And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the living creatures that He has scattered through them: and He has power to gather them together when He wills. |

বরকতময় তিনিই, নভোমন্ডল, ভূমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছু যার। তাঁরই কাছে আছে কেয়ামতের জ্ঞান এবং তাঁরই দিকে তোমরা প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে।
And blessed is He to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all between them: with Him is the Knowledge of the Hour (of Judgment): and to Him shall ye be brought back. |

যদি তোমাদের বিশ্বাস থাকে দেখতে পাবে। তিনি নভোমন্ডল, ভূমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যেবর্তী সবকিছুর পালনকর্তা।
The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all between them, if ye (but) have an assured faith. |
(আদ দোখান:

আমি নভোমন্ডল, ভূমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছু ক্রীড়াচ্ছলে সৃষ্টি করিনি।
We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, merely in (idle) sport: |

নভোমন্ডল, ভূ-মন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছু আমি যথাযথভাবেই এবং নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের জন্যেই সৃষ্টি করেছি। আর কাফেররা যে বিষয়ে তাদেরকে সতর্ক করা হয়েছে, তা থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়।
We created not the heavens and the earth and all between them but for just ends, and for a Term Appointed: But those who reject Faith turn away from that whereof they are warned. |

আমি নভোমন্ডল, ভূমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছু ছয়দিনে সৃষ্টি করেছি এবং আমাকে কোনরূপ ক্লান্তি স্পর্শ করেনি।
We created the heavens and the earth and all between them in Six Days, nor did any sense of weariness touch Us. |

যিনি নভোমন্ডল, ভূমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছুর পালনকর্তা, দয়াময়, কেউ তাঁর সাথে কথার অধিকারী হবে না।
(From) the Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between, (Allah) Most Gracious: None shall have power to argue with Him. |
