তাদের অধিকাংশ সলা-পরামর্শ ভাল নয়; কিন্তু যে সলা-পরামর্শ দান খয়রাত করতে কিংবা সৎকাজ করতে কিংবা মানুষের মধ্যে সন্ধিস্থাপন কল্পে করতো তা স্বতন্ত্র। যে একাজ করে আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টির জন্যে আমি তাকে বিরাট ছওয়াব দান করব।
In most of their secret talks there is no good: But if one exhorts to a deed of charity or justice or conciliation between men, (Secrecy is permissible): To him who does this, seeking the good pleasure of Allah, We shall soon give a reward of the highest (value). |

তারা বললঃ আমরা তার সম্পর্কে তার পিতাকে সম্মত করার চেষ্টা করব এবং আমাদেরকে একাজ করতেই হবে।
They said: "We shall certainly seek to get our wish about him from his father: Indeed we shall do it." |

তিনি বললেনঃ না এদের এই প্রধানই তো একাজ করেছে। অতএব তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস কর, যদি তারা কথা বলতে পারে।
He said: "Nay, this was done by - this is their biggest one! ask them, if they can speak intelligently!" |

এবং যারা আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য উপাস্যের এবাদত করে না, আল্লাহ যার হত্যা অবৈধ করেছেন, সঙ্গত কারণ ব্যতীত তাকে হত্যা করে না এবং ব্যভিচার করে না। যারা একাজ করে, তারা শাস্তির সম্মুখীন হবে।
Those who invoke not, with Allah, any other god, nor slay such life as Allah has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication; - and any that does this (not only) meets punishment. |

জনৈক দৈত্য-জিন বলল, আপনি আপনার স্থান থেকে উঠার পূর্বে আমি তা এনে দেব এবং আমি একাজে শক্তিবান, বিশ্বস্ত।
Said an 'Ifrit, of the Jinns: "I will bring it to thee before thou rise from thy council: indeed I have full strength for the purpose, and may be trusted." |
