আর যত প্রকার প্রাণী পৃথিবীতে বিচরণশীল রয়েছে এবং যত প্রকার পাখী দু’ ডানাযোগে উড়ে বেড়ায় তারা সবাই তোমাদের মতই একেকটি শ্রেণী। আমি কোন কিছু লিখতে ছাড়িনি। অতঃপর সবাই স্বীয় প্রতিপালকের কাছে সমবেত হবে।
There is not an animal (that lives) on the earth, nor a being that flies on its wings, but (forms part of) communities like you. Nothing have we omitted from the Book, and they (all) shall be gathered to their Lord in the end. |

তারা মস্তক উপরে তুলে ভীত-বিহবল চিত্তে দৌড়াতে থাকবে। তাদের দিকে তাদের দৃষ্টি ফিরে আসবে না এবং তাদের অন্তর উড়ে যাবে।
They running forward with necks outstretched, their heads uplifted, their gaze returning not towards them, and their hearts a (gaping) void! |

তাদের কাছে পার্থিব জীবনের উপমা বর্ণনা করুন। তা পানির ন্যায়, যা আমি আকাশ থেকে নাযিল করি। অতঃপর এর সংমিশ্রণে শ্যামল সবুজ ভূমিজ লতা-পাতা নির্গত হয়; অতঃপর তা এমন শুস্ক চুর্ণ-বিচুর্ণ হয় যে, বাতাসে উড়ে যায়। আল্লাহ এ সবকিছুর উপর শক্তিমান।
Set forth to them the similitude of the life of this world: It is like the rain which we send down from the skies: the earth's vegetation absorbs it, but soon it becomes dry stubble, which the winds do scatter: it is (only) Allah who prevails over all things. |
