কিন্তু পুরুষ, নারী ও শিশুদের মধ্যে যারা অসহায়, তারা কোন উপায় করতে পারে না এবং পথও জানে না।
Except those who are (really) weak and oppressed - men, women, and children - who have no means in their power, nor (a guide-post) to their way. |

এটি এ বিষয়ের নিকটতম উপায় যে, তারা ঘটনাকে সঠিকভাবে প্রকাশ করবে অথবা আশঙ্কা করবে যে, তাদের কাছ থেকে কসম নেয়ার পর আবার কসম চাওয়া হবে। আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং শুন, আল্লাহ দুরাচারীদেরকে পথ-প্রদর্শন করবেন না।
That is most suitable: that they may give the evidence in its true nature and shape, or else they would fear that other oaths would be taken after their oaths. But fear Allah, and listen (to His counsel): for Allah guideth not a rebellious people: |

আর কোন কোন বেদুইন হল তারা, যারা ঈমান আনে আল্লাহর উপর, কেয়ামত দিনের উপর এবং নিজেদের ব্যয়কে আল্লাহর নৈকট্য এবং রসূলের দোয়া লাভের উপায় বলে গণ্য করে। জেনো! তাই হল তাদের ক্ষেত্রে নৈকট্য। আল্লাহ তাদেরকে নিজের রহমতের অন্তর্ভূক্ত করবেন। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, করুনাময়।
But some of the desert Arabs believe in Allah and the Last Day, and look on their payments as pious gifts bringing them nearer to Allah and obtaining the prayers of the Messenger. Aye, indeed they bring them nearer (to Him): soon will Allah admit them to His Mercy: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. |

অতঃপর তিনি এক উপায় অবলম্বন করলেন।
Then followed he (another) way, |

কাফেররা সর্বদাই সন্দেহ পোষন করবে যে পর্যন্ত না তাদের কাছে আকস্মিকভাবে কেয়ামত এসে পড়ে অথবা এসে পড়ে তাদের কাছে এমন দিবসের শাস্তি যা থেকে রক্ষার উপায় নেই।
Those who reject Faith will not cease to be in doubt concerning (Revelation) until the Hour (of Judgment) comes suddenly upon them, or there comes to them the Penalty of a Day of Disaster. |

তারা বলবে হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! আপনি আমাদেরকে দু’বার মৃত্যু দিয়েছেন এবং দু’ বার জীবন দিয়েছেন। এখন আমাদের অপরাধ স্বীকার করছি। অতঃপর এখন ও নিস্কৃতির কোন উপায় আছে কি?
They will say: "Our Lord! twice hast Thou made us without life, and twice hast Thou given us Life! Now have we recognised our sins: Is there any way out (of this)?" |

আল্লাহ যাকে পথ ভ্রষ্ট করেন, তার জন্যে তিনি ব্যতীত কোন কার্যনির্বাহী নেই। পাপাচারীরা যখন আযাব প্রত্যক্ষ করবে, তখন আপনি তাদেরকে দেখবেন যে, তারা বলছে আমাদের ফিরে যাওয়ার কোন উপায় আছে কি?
For any whom Allah leaves astray, there is no protector thereafter. And thou wilt see the Wrong-doers, when in sight of the Penalty, Say: "Is there any way (to effect) a return?" |

মুমিনগণ, তোমরা রসূলের কাছে কানকথা বলতে চাইলে তৎপূর্বে সদকা প্রদান করবে। এটা তোমাদের জন্যে শ্রেয়ঃ ও পবিত্র হওয়ার ভাল উপায়। যদি তাতে সক্ষম না হও, তবে আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
O ye who believe! When ye consult the Messenger in private, spend something in charity before your private consultation. That will be best for you, and most conducive to purity (of conduct). But if ye find not (the wherewithal), Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. |
(আল মুজাদালাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১২) |

হে নবী, তোমরা যখন স্ত্রীদেরকে তালাক দিতে চাও, তখন তাদেরকে তালাক দিয়ো ইদ্দতের প্রতি লক্ষ্য রেখে এবং ইদ্দত গণনা করো। তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তা আল্লাহকে ভয় করো। তাদেরকে তাদের গৃহ থেকে বহিস্কার করো না এবং তারাও যেন বের না হয় যদি না তারা কোন সুস্পষ্ট নির্লজ্জ কাজে লিপ্ত হয়। এগুলো আল্লাহর নির্ধারিত সীমা। যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর সীমালংঘন করে, সে নিজেরই অনিষ্ট করে। সে জানে না, হয়তো আল্লাহ এই তালাকের পর কোন নতুন উপায় করে দেবেন।
O Prophet! When ye do divorce women, divorce them at their prescribed periods, and count (accurately), their prescribed periods: And fear Allah your Lord: and turn them not out of their houses, nor shall they (themselves) leave, except in case they are guilty of some open lewdness, those are limits set by Allah: and any who transgresses the limits of Allah, does verily wrong his (own) soul: thou knowest not if perchance Allah will bring about thereafter some new situation. |

আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্যে কসম থেকে অব্যহতি লাভের উপায় নির্ধারণ করে দিয়েছেন। আল্লাহ তোমাদের মালিক। তিনি সর্বজ্ঞ, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
Allah has already ordained for you, (O men), the dissolution of your oaths (in some cases): and Allah is your Protector, and He is Full of Knowledge and Wisdom. |

আমি আশ্চর্য উপায়ে পানি বর্ষণ করেছি,
For that We pour forth water in abundance, |
