হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আমি নিজের এক সন্তানকে তোমার পবিত্র গৃহের সন্নিকটে চাষাবাদহীন উপত্যকায় আবাদ করেছি; হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, যাতে তারা নামায কায়েম রাখে। অতঃপর আপনি কিছু লোকের অন্তরকে তাদের প্রতি আকৃষ্ট করুন এবং তাদেরকে ফলাদি দ্বারা রুযী দান করুন, সম্ভবতঃ তারা কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করবে
"O our Lord! I have made some of my offspring to dwell in a valley without cultivation, by Thy Sacred House; in order, O our Lord, that they may establish regular Prayer: so fill the hearts of some among men with love towards them, and feed them with fruits: so that they may give thanks. |

আমিই তোমার পালনকর্তা, অতএব তুমি জুতা খুলে ফেল, তুমি পবিত্র উপত্যকা তুয়ায় রয়েছ।
"Verily I am thy Lord! therefore (in My presence) put off thy shoes: thou art in the sacred valley Tuwa. |

যখন তারা পিপীলিকা অধ্যূষিত উপত্যকায় পৌঁছাল, তখন এক পিপীলিকা বলল, হে পিপীলিকার দল, তোমরা তোমাদের গৃহে প্রবেশ কর। অন্যথায় সুলায়মান ও তার বাহিনী অজ্ঞাতসারে তোমাদেরকে পিষ্ট করে ফেলবে।
At length, when they came to a (lowly) valley of ants, one of the ants said: "O ye ants, get into your habitations, lest Solomon and his hosts crush you (under foot) without knowing it." |

যখন সে তার কাছে পৌছল, তখন পবিত্র ভূমিতে অবস্থিত উপত্যকার ডান প্রান্তের বৃক্ষ থেকে তাকে আওয়াজ দেয়া হল, হে মূসা! আমি আল্লাহ, বিশ্ব পালনকর্তা।
But when he came to the (fire), a voice was heard from the right bank of the valley, from a tree in hallowed ground: "O Moses! Verily I am Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.... |

আ’দ সম্প্রদায়ের ভাইয়ের কথা স্মরণ করুন, তার পূর্বে ও পরে অনেক সতর্ককারী গত হয়েছিল সে তার সম্প্রদায়কে বালুকাময় উচ্চ উপত্যকায় এ মর্মে সতর্ক করেছিল যে, তোমরা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত কারও এবাদত করো না। আমি তোমাদের জন্যে এক মহাদিবসের শাস্তির আশংকা করি।
Mention (Hud) one of 'Ad's (own) brethren: Behold, he warned his people about the winding Sand-tracts: but there have been warners before him and after him: "Worship ye none other than Allah: Truly I fear for you the Penalty of a Mighty Day." |

(অতঃপর) তারা যখন শাস্তিকে মেঘরূপে তাদের উপত্যকা অভিমুখী দেখল, তখন বলল, এ তো মেঘ, আমাদেরকে বৃষ্টি দেবে। বরং এটা সেই বস্তু, যা তোমরা তাড়াতাড়ি চেয়েছিলে। এটা বায়ু এতে রয়েছে মর্মন্তুদ শাস্তি।
Then, when they saw the (Penalty in the shape of) a cloud traversing the sky, coming to meet their valleys, they said, "This cloud will give us rain!" "Nay, it is the (Calamity) ye were asking to be hastened!- A wind wherein is a Grievous Penalty! |

And with the Thamud (people), who cut out (huge) rocks in the valley?- |
