যখন তোমাদের দুটি দল সাহস হারাবার উপক্রম হলো, অথচ আল্লাহ তাদের সাহায্যকারী ছিলেন, আর আল্লাহর উপরই ভরসা করা মুমিনদের উচিত।
Remember two of your parties Meditated cowardice; but Allah was their protector, and in Allah should the faithful (Ever) put their trust. |

তারপর যখন মূসা নিজ সম্প্রদায়ে ফিরে এলেন রাগাম্বিত ও অনুতপ্ত অবস্থায়, তখন বললেন, আমার অনুপস্থিতিতে তোমরা আমার কি নিকৃষ্ট প্রতিনিধিত্বটাই না করেছ। তোমরা নিজ পরওয়ারদেগারের হুকুম থেকে কি তাড়াহুড়া করে ফেললে এবং সে তখতীগুলো ছুঁড়ে ফেলে দিলেন এবং নিজের ভাইয়ের মাথার চুল চেপে ধরে নিজের দিকে টানতে লাগলেন। ভাই বললেন, হে আমার মায়ের পুত্র, লোকগুলো যে আমাকে দুর্বল মনে করল এবং আমাকে যে মেরে ফেলার উপক্রম করেছিল। সুতরাং আমার উপর আর শত্রুদের হাসিও না। আর আমাকে জালিমদের সারিতে গন্য করো না।
When Moses came back to his people, angry and grieved, he said: "Evil it is that ye have done in my place in my absence: did ye make haste to bring on the judgment of your Lord?" He put down the tablets, seized his brother by (the hair of) his head, and dragged him to him. Aaron said: "Son of my mother! the people did indeed reckon me as naught, and went near to slaying me! Make not the enemies rejoice over my misfortune, nor count thou me amongst the people of sin." |

আল্লাহ দয়াশীল নবীর প্রতি এবং মুহাজির ও আনসারদের প্রতি, যারা কঠিন মহূর্তে নবীর সঙ্গে ছিল, যখন তাদের এক দলের অন্তর ফিরে যাওয়ার উপক্রম হয়েছিল। অতঃপর তিনি দয়াপরবশ হন তাদের প্রতি। নিঃসন্দেহে তিনি তাদের প্রতি দয়াশীল ও করুনাময়।
Allah turned with favour to the Prophet, the Muhajirs, and the Ansar,- who followed him in a time of distress, after that the hearts of a part of them had nearly swerved (from duty); but He turned to them (also): for He is unto them Most Kind, Most Merciful. |

এমনকি যখন পয়গম্বরগণ নৈরাশ্যে পতিত হয়ে যেতেন, এমনকি এরূপ ধারণা করতে শুরু করতেন যে, তাদের অনুমান বুঝি মিথ্যায় পরিণত হওয়ার উপক্রম হয়েছিল, তখন তাদের কাছে আমার সাহায্য পৌছে। অতঃপর আমি যাদের চেয়েছি তারা উদ্ধার পেয়েছে। আমার শাস্তি অপরাধী সম্প্রদায় থেকে প্রতিহত হয় না।
(Respite will be granted) until, when the messengers give up hope (of their people) and (come to) think that they were treated as liars, there reaches them Our help, and those whom We will are delivered into safety. But never will be warded off our punishment from those who are in sin. |

আল্লাহ যাকে পথ প্রদর্শন করেন, সেই তো সঠিক পথ প্রাপ্ত এবং যাকে পথ ভ্রষ্ট করেন, তাদের জন্যে আপনি আল্লাহ ছাড়া কোন সাহায্যকারী পাবেন না। আমি কেয়ামতের দিন তাদের সমবেত করব তাদের মুখে ভর দিয়ে চলা অবস্থায়, অন্ধ অবস্থায়, মুক অবস্থায় এবং বধির অবস্থায়। তাদের আবাসস্থল জাহান্নাম। যখনই নির্বাপিত হওয়ার উপক্রম হবে আমি তখন তাদের জন্যে অগ্নি আরও বৃদ্ধি করে দিব।
It is he whom Allah guides, that is on true Guidance; but he whom He leaves astray - for such wilt thou find no protector besides Him. On the Day of Judgment We shall gather, them together, prone on their faces, blind, dumb, and deaf: their abode will be Hell: every time it shows abatement, We shall increase from them the fierceness of the Fire. |

আপনি তাদেরকে আসন্ন দিন সম্পর্কে সতর্ক করুন, যখন প্রাণ কন্ঠাগত হবে, দম বন্ধ হওয়ার উপক্রম হবে। পাপিষ্ঠদের জন্যে কোন বন্ধু নেই এবং সুপারিশকারীও নেই; যার সুপারিশ গ্রাহ্য হবে।
Warn them of the Day that is (ever) drawing near, when the hearts will (come) right up to the throats to choke (them); No intimate friend nor intercessor will the wrong-doers have, who could be listened to. |

আকাশ উপর থেকে ফেটে পড়ার উপক্রম হয় আর তখন ফেরেশতাগণ তাদের পালনকর্তার প্রশংসাসহ পবিত্রতা বর্ণনা করে এবং পৃথিবীবাসীদের জন্যে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করে। শুনে রাখ, আল্লাহই ক্ষমাশীল, পরম করুনাময়।
The heavens are almost rent asunder from above them (by Him Glory): and the angels celebrate the Praises of their Lord, and pray for forgiveness for (all) beings on earth: Behold! Verily Allah is He, the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. |
