তোমাদের যদি কোন মঙ্গল হয়; তাহলে তাদের খারাপ লাগে। আর তোমাদের যদি অমঙ্গল হয় তাহলে আনন্দিত হয় আর তাতে যদি তোমরা ধৈর্য্যধারণ কর এবং তাকওয়া অবলম্বন কর, তবে তাদের প্রতারণায় তোমাদের কোনই ক্ষতি হবে না। নিশ্চয়ই তারা যা কিছু করে সে সমস্তই আল্লাহর আয়ত্তে রয়েছে।
If aught that is good befalls you, it grieves them; but if some misfortune overtakes you, they rejoice at it. But if ye are constant and do right, not the least harm will their cunning do to you; for Allah Compasseth round about all that they do. |

তারা মানুষের কাছে লজ্জিত হয় এবং আল্লাহর কাছে লজ্জিত হয় না। তিনি তাদের সাথে রয়েছেন, যখন তারা রাত্রে এমন বিষয়ে পরামর্শ করে, যাতে আল্লাহ সম্মত নন। তারা যাকিছু করে, সবই আল্লাহর আয়ত্তাধীণ।
They may hide (Their crimes) from men, but they cannot hide (Them) from Allah, seeing that He is in their midst when they plot by night, in words that He cannot approve: And Allah Doth compass round all that they do. |

আমি আল্লাহর উপর নিশ্চিত ভরসা করেছি যিনি আমার এবং তোমাদের পরওয়ারদেগার। পৃথিবীর বুকে বিচরণকারী এমন কোন প্রাণী নাই যা তাঁর র্পূণ আয়ত্তাধীন নয়। আমার পালকর্তার সরল পথে সন্দেহ নেই।
"I put my trust in Allah, My Lord and your Lord! There is not a moving creature, but He hath grasp of its fore-lock. Verily, it is my Lord that is on a straight Path. |

শোয়ায়েব (আঃ) বলেন-হে আমার জাতি, আমার ভাই বন্ধুরা কি তোমাদের কাছে আল্লাহর চেয়ে প্রভাবশালী? আর তোমরা তাকে বিস্মৃত হয়ে পেছনে ফেলে রেখেছ, নিশ্চয় তোমাদের কার্যকলাপ আমার পালনকর্তার আয়ত্তে রয়েছে।
He said: "O my people! is then my family of more consideration with you than Allah? For ye cast Him away behind your backs (with contempt). But verily my Lord encompasseth on all sides all that ye do! |

যে বিষয় বোঝা আপনার আয়ত্তাধীন নয়, তা দেখে আপনি ধৈর্য্যধারণ করবেন কেমন করে?
"And how canst thou have patience about things about which thy understanding is not complete?" |
(কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৮) |

তিনি জানেন যা কিছু তাদের সামনে ও পশ্চাতে আছে এবং তারা তাকে জ্ঞান দ্বারা আয়ত্ত করতে পারে না।
He knows what (appears to His creatures as) before or after or behind them: but they shall not compass it with their knowledge. |

এবং আয়ত্ত্বাধীন করে দিয়েছেন তোমাদের, যা আছে নভোমন্ডলে ও যা আছে ভূমন্ডলে; তাঁর পক্ষ থেকে। নিশ্চয় এতে চিন্তাশীল সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।
And He has subjected to you, as from Him, all that is in the heavens and on earth: Behold, in that are Signs indeed for those who reflect. |
(আল জাসিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ১৩) |

তার বৃক্ষছায়া তাদের উপর ঝুঁকে থাকবে এবং তার ফলসমূহ তাদের আয়ত্তাধীন রাখা হবে।
And the shades of the (Garden) will come low over them, and the bunches (of fruit), there, will hang low in humility. |
