আর স্মরণ কর, যখন ইব্রাহীম বলল, হে আমার পালনকর্তা আমাকে দেখাও, কেমন করে তুমি মৃতকে জীবিত করবে। বললেন; তুমি কি বিশ্বাস কর না? বলল, অবশ্যই বিশ্বাস করি, কিন্তু দেখতে এজন্যে চাইছি যাতে অন্তরে প্রশান্তি লাভ করতে পারি। বললেন, তাহলে চারটি পাখী ধরে নাও। পরে সেগুলোকে নিজের পোষ মানিয়ে নাও, অতঃপর সেগুলোর দেহের একেকটি অংশ বিভিন্ন পাহাড়ের উপর রেখে দাও। তারপর সেগুলোকে ডাক; তোমার নিকট দৌড়ে চলে আসবে। আর জেনে রাখো, নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ পরাক্রমশালী, অতি জ্ঞান সম্পন্ন।
When Abraham said: "Show me, Lord, how You will raise the dead, " He replied: "Have you no faith?" He said "Yes, but just to reassure my heart." Allah said, "Take four birds, draw them to you, and cut their bodies to pieces. Scatter them over the mountain-tops, then call them back. They will come swiftly to you. Know that Allah is Mighty, Wise." |

আর কোন বিষয় গোপন করে রাখা নবীর কাজ নয়। আর যে লোক গোপন করবে সে কিয়ামতের দিন সেই গোপন বস্তু নিয়ে আসবে। অতঃপর পরিপূর্ণভাবে পাবে প্রত্যেকে, যা সে অর্জন করেছে। আর তাদের প্রতি কোন অন্যায় করা হবে না।
No prophet could (ever) be false to his trust. If any person is so false, He shall, on the Day of Judgment, restore what he misappropriated; then shall every soul receive its due,- whatever it earned,- and none shall be dealt with unjustly. |

আল্লাহ বললেনঃ আজকের দিনে সত্যবাদীদের সত্যবাদিতা তাদের উপকারে আসবে। তাদের জন্যে উদ্যান রয়েছে, যার তলদেশে নির্ঝরিনী প্রবাহিত হবে; তারা তাতেই চিরকাল থাকবে। আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট। এটিই মহান সফলতা।
Allah will say: "This is a day on which the truthful will profit from their truth: theirs are gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,- their eternal Home: Allah well-pleased with them, and they with Allah: That is the great salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires). |

তারা শুধু এ বিষয়ের দিকে চেয়ে আছে যে, তাদের কাছে ফেরেশতা আগমন করবে কিংবা আপনার পালনকর্তা আগমন করবেন অথবা আপনার পালনকর্তার কোন নির্দেশ আসবে। যেদিন আপনার পালনকর্তার কোন নিদর্শন আসবে, সেদিন এমন কোন ব্যক্তির বিশ্বাস স্থাপন তার জন্যে ফলপ্রসূ হবে না, যে পূর্ব থেকে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেনি কিংবা স্বীয় বিশ্বাস অনুযায়ী কোনরূপ সৎকর্ম করেনি। আপনি বলে দিনঃ তোমরা পথের দিকে চেয়ে থাক, আমরাও পথে দিকে তাকিয়ে রইলাম।
Are they waiting to see if the angels come to them, or thy Lord (Himself), or certain of the signs of thy Lord! the day that certain of the signs of thy Lord do come, no good will it do to a soul to believe in them then if it believed not before nor earned righteousness through its faith. Say: "Wait ye: we too are waiting." |

এবং সে ভৃত্যদেরকে বললঃ তাদের পণ্যমূল্য তাদের রসদ-পত্রের মধ্যে রেখে দাও-সম্ভবতঃ তারা গৃহে পৌঁছে তা বুঝতে পারবে, সম্ভবতঃ তারা পুনর্বার আসবে।
And (Joseph) told his servants to put their stock-in-trade (with which they had bartered) into their saddle-bags, so they should know it only when they returned to their people, in order that they might come back. |

তোমরা আমার এ জামাটি নিয়ে যাও। এটি আমার পিতার মুখমন্ডলের উপর রেখে দিও, এতে তাঁর দৃষ্টি শক্তি ফিরে আসবে। আর তোমাদের পরিবারবর্গের সবাইকে আমার কাছে নিয়ে এস।
"Go with this my shirt, and cast it over the face of my father: he will come to see (clearly). Then come ye (here) to me together with all your family." |
(ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৯৩) |

কাফেররা পয়গম্বরগণকে বলেছিলঃ আমরা তোমাদেরকে দেশ থেকে বের করে দেব অথবা তোমরা আমাদের ধর্মে ফিরে আসবে। তখন তাদের কাছে তাদের পালনকর্তা ওহী প্রেরণ করলেন যে, আমি জালিমদেরকে অবশ্যই ধ্বংস করে দেব।
And the Unbelievers said to their messengers: "Be sure we shall drive you out of our land, or ye shall return to our religion." But their Lord inspired (this Message) to them: "Verily We shall cause the wrong-doers to perish! |

আয়াতঃ ১৩) |

মানুষকে ঐ দিনের ভয় প্রদর্শন করুন, যেদিন তাদের কাছে আযাব আসবে। তখন জালেমরা বলবেঃ হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আমাদেরকে সামান্য মেয়াদ পর্যন্ত সময় দিন, যাতে আমরা আপনার আহবানে সাড়া দিতে এবং পয়গম্বরগণের অনুসরণ করতে পারি। তোমরা কি ইতোপূর্বে কসম খেতে না যে, তোমাদেরকে দুনিয়া থেকে যেতে হবে না?
So warn mankind of the Day when the Wrath will reach them: then will the wrong-doers say: "Our Lord! respite us (if only) for a short term: we will answer Thy call, and follow the messengers!" "What! were ye not wont to swear aforetime that ye should suffer no decline? |

আমি নভোমন্ডল, ভুমন্ডল এবং এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী যা আছে তা তাৎপর্যহীন সৃষ্টি করিনি। কেয়ামত অবশ্যই আসবে। অতএব পরম ঔদাসীন্যের সাথে ওদের ক্রিয়াকর্ম উপক্ষো করুন।
We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, but for just ends. And the Hour is surely coming (when this will be manifest). So overlook (any human faults) with gracious forgiveness. |

যেদিন তিনি তোমাদেরকে আহবান করবেন, অতঃপর তোমরা তাঁর প্রশংসা করতে করতে চলে আসবে। এবং তোমরা অনুমান করবে যে, সামান্য সময়ই অবস্থান করেছিলে।
"It will be on a Day when He will call you, and ye will answer (His call) with (words of) His praise, and ye will think that ye tarried but a little while!" |
(বনী ইসরাঈল:

কেয়ামতের দিন তাদের সবাই তাঁর কাছে একাকী অবস্থায় আসবে।
And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. |
(মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৯৫) |
| 12 |
যে পর্যন্ত না ইয়াজুজ ও মাজুজকে বন্ধন মুক্ত করে দেয়া হবে এবং তারা প্রত্যেক উচ্চভুমি থেকে দ্রুত ছুটে আসবে।
Until the Gog and Magog (people) are let through (their barrier), and they swiftly swarm from every hill. |

আয়াতঃ ৯৬) |

এবং পঞ্চমবার বলে যে, যদি তার স্বামী সত্যবাদী হয় তবে তার ওপর আল্লাহর গযব নেমে আসবে।
And the fifth (oath) should be that she solemnly invokes the wrath of Allah on herself if (her accuser) is telling the truth. |

কিন্তু যে সুস্থ অন্তর নিয়ে আল্লাহর কাছে আসবে।
"But only he (will prosper) that brings to Allah a sound heart; |
(আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ৮৯) |
| 15 |
যে আল্লাহর সাক্ষাত কামনা করে, আল্লাহর সেই নির্ধারিত কাল অবশ্যই আসবে। তিনি সর্বশ্রোতা, সর্বজ্ঞানী।
For those whose hopes are in the meeting with Allah (in the Hereafter, let them strive); for the term (appointed) by Allah is surely coming and He hears and knows (all things). |
(আল আনকাবুত:

তাঁর অন্যতম নিদর্শন এই যে, তাঁরই আদেশে আকাশ ও পৃথিবী প্রতিষ্ঠিত আছে। অতঃপর যখন তিনি মৃত্তিকা থেকে উঠার জন্যে তোমাদের ডাক দেবেন, তখন তোমরা উঠে আসবে।
And among His Signs is this, that heaven and earth stand by His Command: then when He calls you, by a single call, from the earth, behold, ye (straightway) come forth. |
(আর-রূম:
আয়াতঃ ২৫) |
| 17 |
কাফেররা বলে আমাদের উপর কেয়ামত আসবে না। বলুন কেন আসবে না? আমার পালনকর্তার শপথ-অবশ্যই আসবে। তিনি অদৃশ্য সম্পর্কে জ্ঞাত। নভোমন্ডলে ও ভূ-মন্ডলে তাঁর আগোচরে নয় অণু পরিমাণ কিছু, না তদপেক্ষা ক্ষুদ্র এবং না বৃহৎ-সমস্তই আছে সুস্পষ্ট কিতাবে।
The Unbelievers say, "Never to us will come the Hour": Say, "Nay! but most surely, by my Lord, it will come upon you;- by Him Who knows the unseen,- from Whom is not hidden the least little atom in the heavens or on earth: Nor is there anything less than that, or greater, but is in the Record Perspicuous: |

আয়াতঃ ৩) |
| 18 |
অথচ এসব উপাস্য তাদেরকে সাহায্য করতে সক্ষম হবে না এবং এগুলো তাদের বাহিনী রূপে ধৃত হয়ে আসবে।
They have not the power to help them: but they will be brought up (before Our Judgment-seat) as a troop (to be condemned). |
(ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ৭৫) |
| 19 |
অতঃপর তারা তাকে মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করল। অতএব তারা অবশ্যই গ্রেফতার হয়ে আসবে।
But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- |
(আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ১২৭) |

তারা আল্লাহ ও জ্বিনদের মধ্যে সম্পর্ক সাব্যস্ত করেছে, অথচ জ্বিনেরা জানে যে, তারা গ্রেফতার হয়ে আসবে।
And they have invented a blood-relationship between Him and the Jinns: but the Jinns know (quite well) that they have indeed to appear (before his Judgment-Seat)! |
(আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৮) |
| 21 |
অতএব আপনি সবর করুন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য। অতঃপর আমি কাফেরদেরকে যে শাস্তির ওয়াদা দেই, তার কিয়দংশ যদি আপনাকে দেখিয়ে দেই অথবা আপনার প্রাণ হরণ করে নেই, সর্বাবস্থায় তারা তো আমারই কাছে ফিরে আসবে।
So persevere in patience; for the Promise of Allah is true: and whether We show thee (in this life) some part of what We promise them,- or We take thy soul (to Our Mercy) (before that),-(in any case) it is to Us that they shall (all) return. |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৭৭) |
| 22 |
মৃত্যুযন্ত্রণা নিশ্চিতই আসবে। এ থেকেই তুমি টালবাহানা করতে।
And the stupor of death will bring Truth (before his eyes): "This was the thing which thou wast trying to escape!" |
(ক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৯) |
| 23 |
যেদিন ভূমন্ডল বিদীর্ণ হয়ে মানুষ ছুটাছুটি করে বের হয়ে আসবে। এটা এমন সমবেত করা, যা আমার জন্যে অতি সহজ।
The Day when the Earth will be rent asunder, from (men) hurrying out: that will be a gathering together,- quite easy for Us. |
(ক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪) |
| 24 |
এবং বোঝাতে থাকুন; কেননা, বোঝানো মুমিনদের উপকারে আসবে।
But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers. |
(আয-যারিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ৫৫) |
| 25 |
অতঃপর তুমি বার বার তাকিয়ে দেখ-তোমার দৃষ্টি ব্যর্থ ও পরিশ্রান্ত হয়ে তোমার দিকে ফিরে আসবে।
Again turn thy vision a second time: (thy) vision will come back to thee dull and discomfited, in a state worn out. |
