যদি কেউ ওসীয়তকারীর পক্ষ থেকে আশংকা করে পক্ষপাতিত্বের অথবা কোন অপরাধমূলক সিদ্ধান্তের এবং তাদের মধ্যে মীমাংসা করে দেয়, তবে তার কোন গোনাহ হবে না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তা’আলা ক্ষমাশীল, অতি দয়ালু।
But if anyone fears partiality or wrong-doing on the part of the testator, and makes peace between (The parties concerned), there is no wrong in him: For Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. |

যারা স্বীয় ধন সম্পদ আল্লাহর রাস্তায় ব্যয় করে, এরপর ব্যয় করার পর সে অনুগ্রহের কথা প্রকাশ করে না এবং কষ্টও দেয় না, তাদেরই জন্যে তাদের পালনকর্তার কাছে রয়েছে পুরস্কার এবং তাদের কোন আশংকা নেই, তারা চিন্তিতও হবে না।
Those who spend their substance in the cause of Allah, and follow not up their gifts with reminders of their generosity or with injury,-for them their reward is with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. |

যদি কোন নারী স্বীয় স্বামীর পক্ষ থেকে অসদাচরণ কিংবা উপেক্ষার আশংকা করে, তবে পরস্পর কোন মীমাংসা করে নিলে তাদের উভয়ের কোন গোনাহ নাই। মীমাংসা উত্তম। মনের সামনে লোভ বিদ্যমান আছে। যদি তোমরা উত্তম কাজ কর এবং খোদাভীরু হও, তবে, আল্লাহ তোমাদের সব কাজের খবর রাখেন।
If a wife fears cruelty or desertion on her husband's part, there is no blame on them if they arrange an amicable settlement between themselves; and such settlement is best; even though men's souls are swayed by greed. But if ye do good and practise self-restraint, Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do. |

হে ঈমানদারগণ! মুশরিকরা তো অপবিত্র। সুতরাং এ বছরের পর তারা যেন মসজিদুল-হারামের নিকট না আসে। আর যদি তোমরা দারিদ্রে?480; আশংকা কর, তবে আল্লাহ চাইলে নিজ করুনায় ভবিষ্যতে তোমাদের অভাবমুক্ত করে দেবেন। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ সর্বজ্ঞ, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
O ye who believe! Truly the Pagans are unclean; so let them not, after this year of theirs, approach the Sacred Mosque. And if ye fear poverty, soon will Allah enrich you, if He wills, out of His bounty, for Allah is All-knowing, All-wise. |
(আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৮) |

সে বলল, হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আমার আশংকা হচ্ছে যে, তারা আমাকে মিথ্যাবাদী বলে দেবে।
He said: "O my Lord! I do fear that they will charge me with falsehood: |

আমার বিরুদ্ধে তাদের অভিযোগ আছে। অতএব আমি আশংকা করি যে, তারা আমাকে হত্যা করবে।
"And (further), they have a charge of crime against me; and I fear they may slay me." |
(আশ-শো'আরা:

আমি তোমাদের জন্যে মহাদিবসের শাস্তি আশংকা করি।
"Truly I fear for you the Penalty of a Great Day." |
(আশ-শো'আরা:

এবং তাদেরকে দেশের ক্ষমতায় আসীন করার এবং ফেরাউন, হামান ও তাদের সৈন্য-বাহিনীকে তা দেখিয়ে দেয়ার, যা তারা সেই দূর্বল দলের তরফ থেকে আশংকা করত।
To establish a firm place for them in the land, and to show Pharaoh, Haman, and their hosts, at their hands, the very things against which they were taking precautions. |

আমি মূসা-জননীকে আদেশ পাঠালাম যে, তাকে স্তন্য দান করতে থাক। অতঃপর যখন তুমি তার সম্পর্কে বিপদের আশংকা কর, তখন তাকে দরিয়ায় নিক্ষেপ কর এবং ভয় করো না, দুঃখও করো না। আমি অবশ্যই তাকে তোমার কাছে ফিরিয়ে দেব এবং তাকে পয়গম্বরগণের একজন করব।
So We sent this inspiration to the mother of Moses: "Suckle (thy child), but when thou hast fears about him, cast him into the river, but fear not nor grieve: for We shall restore him to thee, and We shall make him one of Our messengers." |
(আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৭) |

আরও বলা হল, তুমি তোমার লাঠি নিক্ষেপ কর। অতঃপর যখন সে লাঠিকে সর্পের ন্যায় দৌড়াদৌড়ি করতে দেখল, তখন সে মুখ ফিরিয়ে বিপরীত দিকে পালাতে লাগল এবং পেছন ফিরে দেখল না। হে মূসা, সামনে এস এবং ভয় করো না। তোমার কোন আশংকা নেই।
"Now do thou throw thy rod!" but when he saw it moving (of its own accord) as if it had been a snake, he turned back in retreat, and retraced not his steps: O Moses!" (It was said), "Draw near, and fear not: for thou art of those who are secure. |

আমার ভাই হারুণ, সে আমা অপেক্ষা প্রাঞ্জলভাষী। অতএব, তাকে আমার সাথে সাহায্যের জন্যে প্রেরণ করুন। সে আমাকে সমর্থন জানাবে। আমি আশংকা করি যে, তারা আমাকে মিথ্যাবাদী বলবে।
"And my brother Aaron - He is more eloquent in speech than I: so send him with me as a helper, to confirm (and strengthen) me: for I fear that they may accuse me of falsehood." |
(আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৩৪) |

যে ব্যক্তি রাত্রিকালে সেজদার মাধ্যমে অথবা দাঁড়িয়ে এবাদত করে, পরকালের আশংকা রাখে এবং তার পালনকর্তার রহমত প্রত্যাশা করে, সে কি তার সমান, যে এরূপ করে না; বলুন, যারা জানে এবং যারা জানে না; তারা কি সমান হতে পারে? চিন্তা-ভাবনা কেবল তারাই করে, যারা বুদ্ধিমান।
Is one who worships devoutly during the hour of the night prostrating himself or standing (in adoration), who takes heed of the Hereafter, and who places his hope in the Mercy of his Lord - (like one who does not)? Say: "Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know? It is those who are endued with understanding that receive admonition. |

ফেরাউন বলল; তোমরা আমাকে ছাড়, মূসাকে হত্যা করতে দাও, ডাকুক সে তার পালনকর্তাকে! আমি আশংকা করি যে, সে তোমাদের ধর্ম পরিবর্তন করে দেবে অথবা সে দেশময় বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টি করবে।
Said Pharaoh: "Leave me to slay Moses; and let him call on his Lord! What I fear is lest he should change your religion, or lest he should cause mischief to appear in the land!" |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ২৬) |

সে মুমিন ব্যক্তি বললঃ হে আমার কওম, আমি তোমাদের জন্যে পূর্ববর্তী সম্প্রদায়সমূহের মতই বিপদসঙ্কুল দিনের আশংকা করি।
Then said the man who believed: "O my people! Truly I do fear for you something like the Day (of disaster) of the Confederates (in sin)!- |
(আল-মু'মিন:

হে আমার কওম, আমি তোমাদের জন্যে প্রচন্ড হাঁক-ডাকের দিনের আশংকা করি।
"And O my people! I fear for you a Day when there will be Mutual calling (and wailing),- |

যদি সব মানুষের এক মতাবলম্বী হয়ে যাওয়ার আশংকা না থাকত, তবে যারা দয়াময় আল্লাহকে অস্বীকার করে আমি তাদেরকে দিতাম তাদের গৃহের জন্যে রৌপ্য নির্মিত ছাদ ও সিঁড়ি, যার উপর তারা চড়ত।
And were it not that (all) men might become of one (evil) way of life, We would provide, for everyone that blasphemes against (Allah) Most Gracious, silver roofs for their houses and (silver) stair-ways on which to go up, |

আ’দ সম্প্রদায়ের ভাইয়ের কথা স্মরণ করুন, তার পূর্বে ও পরে অনেক সতর্ককারী গত হয়েছিল সে তার সম্প্রদায়কে বালুকাময় উচ্চ উপত্যকায় এ মর্মে সতর্ক করেছিল যে, তোমরা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত কারও এবাদত করো না। আমি তোমাদের জন্যে এক মহাদিবসের শাস্তির আশংকা করি।
Mention (Hud) one of 'Ad's (own) brethren: Behold, he warned his people about the winding Sand-tracts: but there have been warners before him and after him: "Worship ye none other than Allah: Truly I fear for you the Penalty of a Mighty Day." |

| 18 |
তারাই তো কুফরী করেছে এবং বাধা দিয়েছে তোমাদেরকে মসজিদে হারাম থেকে এবং অবস্থানরত কোরবানীর জন্তুদেরকে যথাস্থানে পৌছতে। যদি মক্কায় কিছুসংখ্যক ঈমানদার পুরুষ ও ঈমানদার নারী না থাকত, যাদেরকে তোমরা জানতে না। অর্থাৎ তাদের পিষ্ট হয়ে যাওয়ার আশংকা না থাকত, অতঃপর তাদের কারণে তোমরা অজ্ঞাতসারে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হতে, তবে সব কিছু চুকিয়ে দেয়া হত; কিন্তু এ কারণে চুকানো হয়নি, যাতে আল্লাহ তা’আলা যাকে ইচ্ছা স্বীয় রহমতে দাখিল করে নেন। যদি তারা সরে যেত, তবে আমি অবশ্যই তাদের মধ্যে যারা কাফের তাদেরকে যন্ত্রনাদায়ক শস্তি দিতাম।
They are the ones who denied Revelation and hindered you from the Sacred Mosque and the sacrificial animals, detained from reaching their place of sacrifice. Had there not been believing men and believing women whom ye did not know that ye were trampling down and on whose account a crime would have accrued to you without (your) knowledge, (Allah would have allowed you to force your way, but He held back your hands) that He may admit to His Mercy whom He will. If they had been apart, We should certainly have punished the Unbelievers among them with a grievous Punishment. |
(আল ফাতহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৫) |

আমরা যখন সুপথের নির্দেশ শুনলাম, তখন তাতে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করলাম। অতএব, যে তার পালনকর্তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস করে, সে লোকসান ও জোর-জবরের আশংকা করে না।
'And as for us, since we have listened to the Guidance, we have accepted it: and any who believes in his Lord has no fear, either of a short (account) or of any injustice. |
(আল জিন:
আয়াতঃ ১৩) |
| 20 |
আল্লাহ তা’আলা এই ধ্বংসের কোন বিরূপ পরিণতির আশংকা করেন না।
And for Him is no fear of its consequences. |
(আশ-শামস:
আয়াতঃ ১৫) |
