অতএব যারা হতভাগ্য তারা দোযখে যাবে, সেখানে তারা আর্তনাদ ও চিৎকার করতে থাকবে।
Those who are wretched shall be in the Fire: There will be for them therein (nothing but) the heaving of sighs and sobs: |

তাদের এই আর্তনাদ সব সময় ছিল, শেষ পর্যন্ত আমি তাদেরকে করে দিলাম যেন কর্তিত শস্য ও নির্বাপিত অগ্নি।
And that cry of theirs ceased not, till We made them as a field that is mown, as ashes silent and quenched. |

তাদের আগে আমি কত জনগোষ্ঠীকে ধ্বংস করেছি, অতঃপর তারা আর্তনাদ করতে শুরু করেছে কিন্তু তাদের নিষ্কৃতি লাভের সময় ছিল না।
How many generations before them did We destroy? In the end they cried (for mercy)- when there was no longer time for being saved! |
