যদি তোমরা প্রকাশ্যে দান-খয়রাত কর, তবে তা কতইনা উত্তম। আর যদি খয়রাত গোপনে কর এবং অভাবগ্রস্তদের দিয়ে দাও, তবে তা তোমাদের জন্যে আরও উত্তম। আল্লাহ তা’আলা তোমাদের কিছু গোনাহ দূর করে দিবেন। আল্লাহ তোমাদের কাজ কর্মের খুব খবর রাখেন।
If ye disclose (acts of) charity, even so it is well, but if ye conceal them, and make them reach those (really) in need, that is best for you: It will remove from you some of your (stains of) evil. And Allah is well acquainted with what ye do. |
(আল বাকারা:

যাদেরকে লোকেরা বলেছে যে, তোমাদের সাথে মোকাবেলা করার জন্য লোকেরা সমাবেশ করেছে বহু সাজ-সরঞ্জাম; তাদের ভয় কর। তখন তাদের বিশ্বাস আরও দৃঢ়তর হয়ে যায় এবং তারা বলে, আমাদের জন্য আল্লাহই যথেষ্ট; কতই না চমৎকার কামিয়াবীদানকারী।
Men said to them: "A great army is gathering against you": And frightened them: But it (only) increased their Faith: They said: "For us Allah sufficeth, and He is the best disposer of affairs." |

তুমি কি সেসব লোককে দেখনি, যাদেরকে নির্দেশ দেয়া হয়েছিল যে, তোমরা নিজেদের হাতকে সংযত রাখ, নামায কায়েম কর এবং যাকাত দিতে থাক? অতঃপর যখন তাদের প্রতি জেহাদের নির্দেশ দেয়া হল, তৎক্ষণাৎ তাদের মধ্যে একদল লোক মানুষকে ভয় করতে আরম্ভ করল, যেমন করে ভয় করা হয় আল্লাহকে। এমন কি তার চেয়েও অধিক ভয়। আর বলতে লাগল, হায় পালনকর্তা, কেন আমাদের উপর যুদ্ধ ফরজ করলে! আমাদেরকে কেন আরও কিছুকাল অবকাশ দান করলে না। ( হে রসূল) তাদেরকে বলে দিন, পার্থিব ফায়দা সীমিত। আর আখেরাত পরহেযগারদের জন্য উত্তম। আর তোমাদের অধিকার একটি সূতা পরিমান ও খর্ব করা হবে না।
Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who were told to hold back their hands (from fight) but establish regular prayers and spend in regular charity? When (at length) the order for fighting was issued to them, behold! a section of them feared men as - or even more than - they should have feared Allah: They said: "Our Lord! Why hast Thou ordered us to fight? Wouldst Thou not Grant us respite to our (natural) term, near (enough)?" Say: "Short is the enjoyment of this world: the Hereafter is the best for those who do right: Never will ye be dealt with unjustly in the very least! |

এখন তুমি আরও এক সম্প্রদায়কে পাবে। তারা তোমাদের কাছেও স্বজাতির কাছেও এবং নির্বিঘ্ন হয়ে থাকতে চায়। যখন তাদেরকে ফ্যাসাদের প্রতি মনোনিবেশ করানো হয়, তখন তারা তাতে নিপতিত হয়, অতএব তারা যদি তোমাদের থেকে নিবৃত্ত না হয়, তোমাদের সাথে সন্ধি না রাখে এবং স্বীয় হস্তসমূহকে বিরত না রাখে, তবে তোমরা তাদেরকে পাকড়াও কর এবং যেখানে পাও হত্যা কর। আমি তাদের বিরুদ্ধে তোমাদেরকে প্রকাশ্য যুক্তি-প্রমাণ দান করেছি।
Others you will find that wish to gain your confidence as well as that of their people: Every time they are sent back to temptation, they succumb thereto: if they withdraw not from you nor give you (guarantees) of peace besides restraining their hands, seize them and slay them wherever ye get them: In their case We have provided you with a clear argument against them. |

যারা কাফের, যদি তাদের কাছে পৃথিবীর সমুদয় সম্পদ এবং তৎসহ আরও তদনুরূপ সম্পদ থাকে আর এগুলো বিনিময়ে দিয়ে কিয়ামতের শাস্তি থেকে পরিত্রান পেতে চায়, তবুও তাদের কাছ থেকে তা কবুল করা হবে না। তাদের জন্যে যন্ত্রনাদায়ক শাস্তি রয়েছে।
As to those who reject Faith,- if they had everything on earth, and twice repeated, to give as ransom for the penalty of the Day of Judgment, it would never be accepted of them, theirs would be a grievous penalty. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬) |

তারা ধারণা করেছে যে, কোন অনিষ্ট হবে না। ফলে তারা আরও অন্ধ ও বধির হয়ে গেল। অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাদের তওবা কবুল করলেন। এরপরও তাদের অধিকাংশই অন্ধ ও বধির হয়ে রইল। আল্লাহ দেখেন তারা যা কিছু করে।
They thought there would be no trial (or punishment); so they became blind and deaf; yet Allah (in mercy) turned to them; yet again many of them became blind and deaf. But Allah sees well all that they do. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৭১) |

তারা আরও বলে যে, তাঁর কাছে কোন ফেরেশতা কেন প্রেরণ করা হল না ? যদি আমি কোন ফেরেশতা প্রেরণ করতাম, তবে গোটা ব্যাপারটাই শেষ হয়ে যেত। অতঃপর তাদেরকে সামান্যও অবকাশ দেওয়া হতনা।
They say: "Why is not an angel sent down to him?" If we did send down an angel, the matter would be settled at once, and no respite would be granted them. |
(আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৮) |

তারা আরও বলতে লাগল, আমাদের উপর জাদু করার জন্য তুমি যে নিদর্শনই নিয়ে আস না কেন আমরা কিন্তু তোমার উপর ঈমান আনছি না।
They said (to Moses): "Whatever be the Signs thou bringest, to work therewith thy sorcery on us, we shall never believe in thee. |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৩২) |

ইউসুফ বললেনঃ এটা এজন্য, যাতে আযীয জেনে নেয় যে, আমি গোপনে তার সাথে বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করিনি। আরও এই যে, আল্লাহ বিশ্বাসঘাতকদের প্রতারণাকে এগুতে দেন না।
"This (say I), in order that He may know that I have never been false to him in his absence, and that Allah will never guide the snare of the false ones. |
(ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৫২) |
| 10 |
যারা পালনকর্তার আদেশ পালন করে, তাদের জন্য উত্তম প্রতিদান রয়েছে এবং যারা আদেশ পালন করে না, যদি তাদের কাছে জগতের সবকিছু থাকে এবং তার সাথে তার সমপরিমাণ আরও থাকে, তবে সবই নিজেদের মুক্তিপণ স্বরূপ দিয়ে দেবে। তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে কঠোর হিসাব। তাদের আবাস হবে জাহান্নাম। সেটা কতইনা নিকৃষ্ট অবস্থান।
For those who respond to their Lord, are (all) good things. But those who respond not to Him,- Even if they had all that is in the heavens and on earth, and as much more, (in vain) would they offer it for ransom. For them will the reckoning be terrible: their abode will be Hell,- what a bed of misery! |
(রা'দ:
আয়াতঃ ১৮) |
| 11 |
যখন তোমাদের পালনকর্তা ঘোষণা করলেন যে, যদি কৃতজ্ঞতা স্বীকার কর, তবে তোমাদেরকে আরও দেব এবং যদি অকৃতজ্ঞ হও তবে নিশ্চয়ই আমার শাস্তি হবে কঠোর।
And remember! your Lord caused to be declared (publicly): "If ye are grateful, I will add more (favours) unto you; But if ye show ingratitude, truly My punishment is terrible indeed." |
(ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ৭) |
| 12 |
পরহেযগারদেরকে বলা হয়ঃ তোমাদের পালনকর্তা কি নাযিল করেছেন? তারা বলেঃ মহাকল্যাণ। যারা এ জগতে সৎকাজ করে, তাদের জন্যে কল্যাণ রয়েছে এবং পরকালের গৃহ আরও উত্তম। পরহেযগারদের গৃহ কি চমৎকার?
To the righteous (when) it is said, "What is it that your Lord has revealed?" they say, "All that is good." To those who do good, there is good in this world, and the Home of the Hereafter is even better and excellent indeed is the Home of the righteous,- |

আয়াতঃ ৩০) |

এবং স্মরণ করুন, আমি আপনাকে বলে দিয়েছিলাম যে, আপনার পালনকর্তা মানুষকে পরিবেষ্টন করে রেখেছেন এবং যে দৃশ্য আমি আপনাকে দেখিয়েছি তাও কোরআনে উল্লেখিত অভিশপ্ত বৃক্ষ কেবল মানুষের পরীক্ষার জন্যে। আমি তাদেরকে ভয় প্রদর্শন করি। কিন্তু এতে তাদের অবাধ্যতাই আরও বৃদ্ধি পায়।
Behold! We told thee that thy Lord doth encompass mankind round about: We granted the vision which We showed thee, but as a trial for men,- as also the Cursed Tree (mentioned) in the Qur'an: We put terror (and warning) into them, but it only increases their inordinate transgression! |

আয়াতঃ ৬০) |

আল্লাহ যাকে পথ প্রদর্শন করেন, সেই তো সঠিক পথ প্রাপ্ত এবং যাকে পথ ভ্রষ্ট করেন, তাদের জন্যে আপনি আল্লাহ ছাড়া কোন সাহায্যকারী পাবেন না। আমি কেয়ামতের দিন তাদের সমবেত করব তাদের মুখে ভর দিয়ে চলা অবস্থায়, অন্ধ অবস্থায়, মুক অবস্থায় এবং বধির অবস্থায়। তাদের আবাসস্থল জাহান্নাম। যখনই নির্বাপিত হওয়ার উপক্রম হবে আমি তখন তাদের জন্যে অগ্নি আরও বৃদ্ধি করে দিব।
It is he whom Allah guides, that is on true Guidance; but he whom He leaves astray - for such wilt thou find no protector besides Him. On the Day of Judgment We shall gather, them together, prone on their faces, blind, dumb, and deaf: their abode will be Hell: every time it shows abatement, We shall increase from them the fierceness of the Fire. |

আয়াতঃ ৯৭) |
| 15 |
অজ্ঞাত বিষয়ে অনুমানের উপর ভিত্তি করে এখন তারা বলবেঃ তারা ছিল তিন জন; তাদের চতুর্থটি তাদের কুকুর। একথাও বলবে; তারা পাঁচ জন। তাদের ছষ্ঠটি ছিল তাদের কুকুর। আরও বলবেঃ তারা ছিল সাত জন। তাদের অষ্টমটি ছিল তাদের কুকুর। বলুনঃ আমার পালনকর্তা তাদের সংখ্যা ভাল জানেন। তাদের খবর অল্প লোকই জানে। সাধারণ আলোচনা ছাড়া আপনি তাদের সম্পর্কে বিতর্ক করবেন না এবং তাদের অবস্থা সম্পর্কে তাদের কাউকে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ ও করবেন না।
(Some) say they were three, the dog being the fourth among them; (others) say they were five, the dog being the sixth,- doubtfully guessing at the unknown; (yet others) say they were seven, the dog being the eighth. Say thou: "My Lord knoweth best their number; It is but few that know their (real case)." Enter not, therefore, into controversies concerning them, except on a matter that is clear, nor consult any of them about (the affair of) the Sleepers. |

তাদের উপর তাদের গুহায় তিনশ বছর, অতিরিক্ত আরও নয় বছর অতিবাহিত হয়েছে।
So they stayed in their Cave three hundred years, and (some) add nine (more) |
(কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ২৫) |
| 17 |
তিনি আরও বললেনঃ নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ আমার পালনকর্তা ও তোমাদের পালনকর্তা। অতএব, তোমরা তার এবাদত কর। এটা সরল পথ।
Verily Allah is my Lord and your Lord: Him therefore serve ye: this is a Way that is straight. |
(মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬) |
| 18 |
আমি তোমার প্রতি আরও একবার অনুগ্রহ করেছিলাম।
"And indeed We conferred a favour on thee another time (before). |
(ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৩৭) |
| 19 |
এছাড়া তারা আরও বলেঃ অলীক স্বপ্ন; না সে মিথ্যা উদ্ভাবন করেছে, না সে একজন কবি। অতএব সে আমাদের কাছে কোন নিদর্শন আনয়ন করুক, যেমন নিদর্শন সহ আগমন করেছিলেন পূর্ববর্তীগন।
"Nay," they say, "(these are) medleys of dream! - Nay, He forged it! - Nay, He is (but) a poet! Let him then bring us a Sign like the ones that were sent to (Prophets) of old!" |
(আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৫) |
| 20 |
এবং অধীন করেছি শয়তানদের কতককে, যারা তার জন্যে ডুবুরীর কাজ করত এবং এ ছাড়া অন্য আরও অনেক কাজ করত। আমি তাদেরকে নিয়ন্ত্রন করে রাখতাম।
And of the evil ones, were some who dived for him, and did other work besides; and it was We Who guarded them. |
(আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৮২) |
| 21 |
অতঃপর আমি তাঁর আহবানে সাড়া দিলাম এবং তাঁর দুঃখকষ্ট দূর করে দিলাম এবং তাঁর পরিবরাবর্গ ফিরিয়ে দিলাম, আর তাদের সাথে তাদের সমপরিমাণ আরও দিলাম আমার পক্ষ থেকে কৃপাবশতঃ আর এটা এবাদত কারীদের জন্যে উপদেশ স্বরূপ।
So We listened to him: We removed the distress that was on him, and We restored his people to him, and doubled their number,- as a Grace from Ourselves, and a thing for commemoration, for all who serve Us. |
(আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৮৪) |
| 22 |
আরও বলঃ পালনকর্তা, আমাকে কল্যাণকর ভাবে নামিয়ে দাও, তুমি শ্রেষ্ঠ অবতারণকারী।
And say: "O my Lord! enable me to disembark with thy blessing: for Thou art the Best to enable (us) to disembark." |
(আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ২৯) |
| 23 |
না, তাদের অন্তর এ বিষয়ে অজ্ঞানতায় আচ্ছন্ন, এ ছাড়া তাদের আরও কাজ রয়েছে, যা তারা করছে।
But their hearts are in confused ignorance of this; and there are, besides that, deeds of theirs, which they will (continue) to do,- |
(আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৬৩) |
| 24 |
(তারা আল্লাহর পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা করে) যাতে আল্লাহ তাদের উৎকৃষ্টতর কাজের প্রতিদান দেন এবং নিজ অনুগ্রহে আরও অধিক দেন। আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা অপরিমিত রুযী দান করেন।
That Allah may reward them according to the best of their deeds, and add even more for them out of His Grace: for Allah doth provide for those whom He will, without measure. |
(আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ৩৮) |
| 25 |
আপনি কি মনে করেন যে, তাদের অধিকাংশ শোনে অথবা বোঝে ? তারা তো চতুস্পদ জন্তুর মত; বরং আরও পথভ্রান্ত
Or thinkest thou that most of them listen or understand? They are only like cattle;- nay, they are worse astray in Path. |
(আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪) |
| 26 |
আমি তো কেবল এই নগরীর প্রভুর এবাদত করতে আদিষ্ট হয়েছি, যিনি একে সম্মানিত করেছেন। এবং সব কিছু তাঁরই। আমি আরও আদিষ্ট হয়েছি যেন আমি আজ্ঞাবহদের একজন হই।
For me, I have been commanded to serve the Lord of this city, Him Who has sanctified it and to Whom (belong) all things: and I am commanded to be of those who bow in Islam to Allah's Will,- |

আয়াতঃ ৯১) |
| 27 |
এবং আরও বলুন, সমস্ত প্রশংসা আল্লাহর। সত্বরই তিনি তাঁর নিদর্শনসমূহ তোমাদেরকে দেখাবেন। তখন তোমরা তা চিনতে পারবে। এবং তোমরা যা কর, সে সম্পর্কে আপনার পালনকর্তা গাফেল নন।
And say: "Praise be to Allah, Who will soon show you His Signs, so that ye shall know them"; and thy Lord is not unmindful of all that ye do. |
(নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৯৩) |
| 28 |
আরও বলা হল, তুমি তোমার লাঠি নিক্ষেপ কর। অতঃপর যখন সে লাঠিকে সর্পের ন্যায় দৌড়াদৌড়ি করতে দেখল, তখন সে মুখ ফিরিয়ে বিপরীত দিকে পালাতে লাগল এবং পেছন ফিরে দেখল না। হে মূসা, সামনে এস এবং ভয় করো না। তোমার কোন আশংকা নেই।
"Now do thou throw thy rod!" but when he saw it moving (of its own accord) as if it had been a snake, he turned back in retreat, and retraced not his steps: O Moses!" (It was said), "Draw near, and fear not: for thou art of those who are secure. |
(আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৩১) |
| 29 |
অতঃপর আমার কাছ থেকে যখন তাদের কাছে সত্য আগমন করল, তখন তারা বলল, মূসাকে যেরূপ দেয়া হয়েছিল, এই রসূলকে সেরূপ দেয়া হল না কেন? পূর্বে মূসাকে যা দেয়া হয়েছিল, তারা কি তা অস্বীকার করেনি? তারা বলেছিল, উভয়ই জাদু, পরস্পরে একাত্ম। তারা আরও বলেছিল, আমরা উভয়কে মানি না।
But (now), when the Truth has come to them from Ourselves, they say, "Why are not (Signs) sent to him, like those which were sent to Moses?" Do they not then reject (the Signs) which were formerly sent to Moses? They say: "Two kinds of sorcery, each assisting the other!" And they say: "For us, we reject all (such things)!" |
(আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৪৮) |
| 30 |
তারা নিজেদের পাপভার এবং তার সাথে আরও কিছু পাপভার বহন করবে। অবশ্য তারা যে সব মিথ্যা কথা উদ্ভাবন করে, সে সম্পর্কে কেয়ামতের দিন জিজ্ঞাসিত হবে।
They will bear their own burdens, and (other) burdens along with their own, and on the Day of Judgments they will be called to account for their falsehoods. |
(আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ১৩) |
| 31 |
তাঁর আরও নিদর্শনঃ রাতে ও দিনে তোমাদের নিদ্রা এবং তাঁর কৃপা অন্বেষণ। নিশ্চয় এতে মনোযোগী সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।
And among His Signs is the sleep that ye take by night and by day, and the quest that ye (make for livelihood) out of His Bounty: verily in that are signs for those who hearken. |
(আর-রূম:
আয়াতঃ ২৩) |
| 32 |
তাঁর আরও নিদর্শনঃ তিনি তোমাদেরকে দেখান বিদ্যুৎ, ভয় ও ভরসার জন্যে এবং আকাশ থেকে পানি বর্ষণ করেন, অতঃপর তদ্দ্বারা ভূমির মৃত্যুর পর তাকে পুনরুজ্জীবিত করেন। নিশ্চয় এতে বুদ্ধিমান লোকদের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।
And among His Signs, He shows you the lightning, by way both of fear and of hope, and He sends down rain from the sky and with it gives life to the earth after it is dead: verily in that are Signs for those who are wise. |
(আর-রূম:
আয়াতঃ ২৪) |
| 33 |
তুমি কি দেখ না যে, আল্লাহ রাত্রিকে দিবসে প্রবিষ্ট করেন এবং দিবসকে রাত্রিতে প্রবিষ্ট করেন? তিনি চন্দ্র ও সূর্যকে কাজে নিয়োজিত করেছেন। প্রত্যেকেই নির্দিষ্টকাল পর্যন্ত পরিভ্রমণ করে। তুমি কি আরও দেখ না যে, তোমরা যা কর, আল্লাহ তার খবর রাখেন?
Seest thou not that Allah merges Night into Day and he merges Day into Night; that He has subjected the sun, and the moon (to his Law), each running its course for a term appointed; and that Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do? |
(লোকমান:
আয়াতঃ ২৯) |
| 34 |
তারা আরও বলবে, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আমরা আমাদের নেতা ও বড়দের কথা মেনেছিলাম, অতঃপর তারা আমাদের পথভ্রষ্ট করেছিল।
And they would say: "Our Lord! We obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us as to the (right) Path. |
(আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ৬৭) |
| 35 |
তারা আরও বলেছে, আমরা ধনে-জনে সমৃদ্ধ, সুতরাং আমরা শাস্তিপ্রাপ্ত হব না।
They said: "We have more in wealth and in sons, and we cannot be punished." |
(সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫) |
| 36 |
যখন তাদের কাছে আমার সুস্পষ্ট আয়াত সমূহ তেলাওয়াত করা হয়, তখন তারা বলে, তোমাদের বাপ-দাদারা যার এবাদত করত এ লোকটি যে তা থেকে তোমাদেরকে বাধা দিতে চায়। তারা আরও বলে, এটা মনগড়া মিথ্যা বৈ নয়। আর কাফেরদের কাছে যখন সত্য আগমন করে, তখন তারা বলে, এতো এক সুস্পষ্ট যাদু।
When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, they say, "This is only a man who wishes to hinder you from the (worship) which your fathers practised." And they say, "This is only a falsehood invented!" and the Unbelievers say of the Truth when it comes to them, "This is nothing but evident magic!" |
(সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ৪৩) |
| 37 |
আরও সমান নয় জীবিত ও মৃত। আল্লাহ শ্রবণ করান যাকে ইচ্ছা। আপনি কবরে শায়িতদেরকে শুনাতে সক্ষম নন।
Nor are alike those that are living and those that are dead. Allah can make any that He wills to hear; but thou canst not make those to hear who are (buried) in graves. |
(ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ২২) |
| 38 |
পরিণামে তাদেরকে আল্লাহ তাদের সওয়াব পুরোপুরি দেবেন এবং নিজ অনুগ্রহে আরও বেশী দেবেন। নিশ্চয় তিনি ক্ষমাশীল, গুণগ্রাহী।
For He will pay them their meed, nay, He will give them (even) more out of His Bounty: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Ready to appreciate (service). |
(ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ৩০) |
| 39 |
এবং অন্য আরও অনেককে অধীন করে দিলাম, যারা আবদ্ধ থাকত শৃঙ্খলে।
As also others bound together in fetters. |
(ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৮) |
| 40 |
আমি তাকে দিলাম তার পরিজনবর্গ ও তাদের মত আরও অনেক আমার পক্ষ থেকে রহমতস্বরূপ এবং বুদ্ধিমানদের জন্যে উপদেশস্বরূপ।
And We gave him (back) his people, and doubled their number,- as a Grace from Ourselves, and a thing for commemoration, for all who have Understanding. |
(ছোয়াদ:

এ ধরনের আরও কিছু শাস্তি আছে।
And other Penalties of a similar kind, to match them! |
(ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৮) |

তারা আরও বলবে, আমাদের কি হল যে, আমরা যাদেরকে মন্দ লোক বলে গণ্য করতাম, তাদেরকে এখানে দেখছি না।
And they will say: "What has happened to us that we see not men whom we used to number among the bad ones? |

| 43 |
আরও আদিষ্ট হয়েছি, সর্ব প্রথম নির্দেশ পালনকারী হওয়ার জন্যে।
"And I am commanded to be the first of those who bow to Allah in Islam." |
(আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ১২) |
| 44 |
অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাদেরকে পার্থিব জীবনে লাঞ্ছনার স্বাদ আস্বাদন করালেন, আর পরকালের আযাব হবে আরও গুরুতর, যদি তারা জানত!
So Allah gave them a taste of humiliation in the present life, but greater is the punishment of the Hereafter, if they only knew! |

আয়াতঃ ২৬) |
| 45 |
যদি গোনাহগারদের কাছে পৃথিবীর সবকিছু থাকে এবং তার সাথে সমপরিমাণ আরও থাকে, তবে অবশ্যই তারা কেয়ামতের দিন সে সবকিছুই নিস্কৃতি পাওয়ার জন্যে মুক্তিপন হিসেবে দিয়ে দেবে। অথচ তারা দেখতে পাবে, আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে এমন শাস্তি, যা তারা কল্পনাও করত না।
Even if the wrong-doers had all that there is on earth, and as much more, (in vain) would they offer it for ransom from the pain of the Penalty on the Day of Judgment: but something will confront them from Allah, which they could never have counted upon! |

অতঃপর আমি তাদেরকে পার্থিব জীবনে লাঞ্ছনার আযাব আস্বাদন করানোর জন্যে তাদের উপর প্রেরণ করলাম ঝঞ্ঝাবায়ু বেশ কতিপয় অশুভ দিনে। আর পরকালের আযাব তো আরও লাঞ্ছনাকর এমতাবস্থায় যে, তারা সাহায্যপ্রাপ্ত হবে না।
So We sent against them a furious Wind through days of disaster, that We might give them a taste of a Penalty of humiliation in this life; but the Penalty of a Hereafter will be more humiliating still: and they will find no help. |
(হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৬) |

আরও দিয়েছিলাম তাদেরকে ধর্মের সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণাদি। অতঃপর তারা জ্ঞান লাভ করার পর শুধু পারস্পরিক জেদের বশবর্তী হয়ে মতভেদ সৃষ্টি করেছে। তারা যে বিষয়ে মতভেদ করত, আপনার পালনকর্তা কেয়ামতের দিন তার ফয়সালা করে দেবেন।
And We granted them Clear Signs in affairs (of Religion): it was only after knowledge had been granted to them that they fell into schisms, through insolent envy among themselves. Verily thy Lord will judge between them on the Day of Judgment as to those matters in which they set up differences. |

আয়াতঃ ১৭) |
| 48 |
যারা সৎপথপ্রাপ্ত হয়েছে, তাদের সৎপথপ্রাপ্তি আরও বেড়ে যায় এবং আল্লাহ তাদেরকে তাকওয়া দান করেন।
But to those who receive Guidance, He increases the (light of) Guidance, and bestows on them their Piety and Restraint (from evil). |
(মুহাম্মদ:
আয়াতঃ ১৭) |

তিনি মুমিনদের অন্তরে প্রশান্তি নাযিল করেন, যাতে তাদের ঈমানের সাথে আরও ঈমান বেড়ে যায়। নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের বাহিনীসমূহ আল্লাহরই এবং আল্লাহ সর্বজ্ঞ, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
It is He Who sent down tranquillity into the hearts of the Believers, that they may add faith to their faith;- for to Allah belong the Forces of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is Full of Knowledge and Wisdom;- |
(আল ফাতহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪) |
| 50 |
যেদিন আমি জাহান্নামকে জিজ্ঞাসা করব; তুমি কি পূর্ণ হয়ে গেছ? সে বলবেঃ আরও আছে কি?
One Day We will ask Hell, "Art thou filled to the full?" It will say, "Are there any more (to come)?" |

তারা তথায় যা চাইবে, তাই পাবে এবং আমার কাছে রয়েছে আরও অধিক।
There will be for them therein all that they wish,- and more besides in Our Presence. |
(ক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫) |
| 52 |
আরও নিদর্শন রয়েছে সামূদের ঘটনায়; যখন তাদেরকে বলা হয়েছিল, কিছুকাল মজা লুটে নাও।
And in the Thamud (was another Sign): Behold, they were told, "Enjoy (your brief day) for a little while!" |
(আয-যারিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ৪৩) |

গোনাহগারদের জন্যে এছাড়া আরও শাস্তি রয়েছে, কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই তা জানে না।
And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment besides this: But most of them understand not. |
(আত্ব তূর:
আয়াতঃ ৪৭) |

তখন দুই ধনুকের ব্যবধান ছিল অথবা আরও কম।
And was at a distance of but two bow-lengths or (even) nearer; |
(আন-নাজম:
আয়াতঃ ৯) |
| 55 |
এবং তাদের পূর্বে নূহের সম্প্রদায়কে, তারা ছিল আরও জালেম ও অবাধ্য।
And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, |
(আন-নাজম:
আয়াতঃ ৫২) |
| 56 |
এই দু’টি ছাড়া আরও দু’টি উদ্যান রয়েছে।
And besides these two, there are two other Gardens,- |
(আর রহমান:
আয়াতঃ ৬২) |
| 57 |
এবং আরও একটি অনুগ্রহ দিবেন, যা তোমরা পছন্দ কর। আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে সাহায্য এবং আসন্ন বিজয়। মুমিনদেরকে এর সুসংবাদ দান করুন।
And another (favour will He bestow,) which ye do love,- help from Allah and a speedy victory. So give the Glad Tidings to the Believers. |
(আছ-ছফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৩) |
| 58 |
এই রসূল প্রেরিত হয়েছেন অন্য আরও লোকদের জন্যে, যারা এখনও তাদের সাথে মিলিত হয়নি। তিনি পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
As well as (to confer all these benefits upon) others of them, who have not already joined them: And He is exalted in Might, Wise. |
(আল জুমুআহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩) |
| 59 |
আমি তোমাদেরকে যা দিয়েছি, তা থেকে মৃত্যু আসার আগেই ব্যয় কর। অন্যথায় সে বলবেঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আমাকে আরও কিছুকাল অবকাশ দিলে না কেন? তাহলে আমি সদকা করতাম এবং সৎকর্মীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হতাম।
and spend something (in charity) out of the substance which We have bestowed on you, before Death should come to any of you and he should say, "O my Lord! why didst Thou not give me respite for a little while? I should then have given (largely) in charity, and I should have been one of the doers of good". |
(মুনাফিকুন:
আয়াতঃ ১০) |
| 60 |
নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলে যা আছে, তিনি তা জানেন। তিনি আরও জানেন তোমরা যা গোপনে কর এবং যা প্রকাশ্যে কর। আল্লাহ অন্তরের বিষয়াদি সম্পর্কে সম্যক জ্ঞাত।
He knows what is in the heavens and on earth; and He knows what ye conceal and what ye reveal: yea, Allah knows well the (secrets) of (all) hearts. |
(আত-তাগাবুন:
আয়াতঃ ৪) |
| 61 |
তারা আরও বলবেঃ যদি আমরা শুনতাম অথবা বুদ্ধি খাটাতাম, তবে আমরা জাহান্নামবাসীদের মধ্যে থাকতাম না।
They will further say: "Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we should not (now) be among the Companions of the Blazing Fire!" |
(আল মুলক:
আয়াতঃ ১০) |
| 62 |
শাস্তি এভাবেই আসে এবং পরকালের শাস্তি আরও গুরুতর; যদি তারা জানত!
Such is the Punishment (in this life); but greater is the Punishment in the Hereafter,- if only they knew! |
(আল কলম:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩) |

নূহ আরও বললঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আপনি পৃথিবীতে কোন কাফের গৃহবাসীকে রেহাই দিবেন না।
And Noah, said: "O my Lord! Leave not of the Unbelievers, a single one on earth! |
(নূহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৬) |
| 64 |
এবং আরও বিশ্বাস করি যে, আমাদের পালনকর্তার মহান মর্যাদা সবার উর্ধ্বে। তিনি কোন পত্নী গ্রহণ করেননি এবং তাঁর কোন সন্তান নেই।
'And Exalted is the Majesty of our Lord: He has taken neither a wife nor a son. |
(আল জিন:
আয়াতঃ ৩) |
| 65 |
এরপরও সে আশা করে যে, আমি তাকে আরও বেশী দেই।
Yet is he greedy-that I should add (yet more);- |
(আল মুদ্দাসসির:
আয়াতঃ ১৫) |
| 66 |
আরও শপথ করি সেই মনের, যে নিজেকে ধিক্কার দেয়-
And I do call to witness the self-reproaching spirit: (Eschew Evil). |
