"আযাব।" শব্দযুক্ত আয়াত ম্যাচ করেছেঃ ২৭
নং	আয়াত	সূরা
1	নিশ্চয় যারা সেসব বিষয় গোপন করে, যা আল্লাহ কিতাবে নাযিল করেছেন এবং সেজন্য অল্প মূল্য গ্রহণ করে, তারা আগুন ছাড়া নিজের পেটে আর কিছুই ঢুকায় না। আর আল্লাহ কেয়ামতের দিন তাদের সাথে না কথা বলবেন, না তাদের পবিত্র করা হবে, বস্তুতঃ তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব। Those who conceal Allah's revelations in the Book, and purchase for them a miserable profit,- they swallow into themselves naught but Fire; Allah will not address them on the Day of Resurrection. Nor purify them: Grievous will be their penalty.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১৭৪)
2	এরাই হল সে সমস্ত লোক, যারা হেদায়েতের বিনিময়ে গোমরাহী খরিদ করেছে এবং (খরিদ করেছে) ক্ষমা ও অনুগ্রহের বিনিময়ে আযাব। অতএব, তারা দোযখের উপর কেমন ধৈর্য্য ধারণকারী। They are the ones who buy Error in place of Guidance and Torment in place of Forgiveness. Ah! what boldness (They show) for the Fire!	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১৭৫)
3	হে ঈমানদারগন! তোমাদের প্রতি নিহতদের ব্যাপারে কেসাস গ্রহণ করা বিধিবদ্ধ করা হয়েছে। স্বাধীন ব্যক্তি স্বাধীন ব্যক্তির বদলায়, দাস দাসের বদলায় এবং নারী নারীর বদলায়। অতঃপর তার ভাইয়ের তরফ থেকে যদি কাউকে কিছুটা মাফ করে দেয়া হয়, তবে প্রচলিত নিয়মের অনুসরণ করবে এবং ভালভাবে তাকে তা প্রদান করতে হবে। এটা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার তরফ থেকে সহজ এবং বিশেষ অনুগ্রহ। এরপরও যে ব্যাক্তি বাড়াবাড়ি করে, তার জন্য রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব। O ye who believe! the law of equality is prescribed to you in cases of murder: the free for the free, the slave for the slave, the woman for the woman. But if any remission is made by the brother of the slain, then grant any reasonable demand, and compensate him with handsome gratitude, this is a concession and a Mercy from your Lord. After this whoever exceeds the limits shall be in grave penalty.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১৭৮)
4	নাযিল করেছেন তাওরত ও ইঞ্জিল, এ কিতাবের পূর্বে, মানুষের হেদায়েতের জন্যে এবং অবতীর্ণ করেছেন মীমাংসা। নিঃসন্দেহে যারা আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহ অস্বীকার করে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে কঠিন আযাব। আর আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন পরাক্রমশীল, প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণকারী। Then those who reject Faith in the Signs of Allah will suffer the severest penalty, and Allah is Exalted in Might, Lord of Retribution.	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ৪)
5	যারা আল্লাহর নামে কৃত অঙ্গীকার এবং প্রতিজ্ঞা সামান্য মুল্যে বিক্রয় করে, আখেরাতে তাদের কেন অংশ নেই। আর তাদের সাথে কেয়ামতের দিন আল্লাহ কথা বলবেন না। তাদের প্রতি (করুণার) দৃষ্টিও দেবেন না। আর তাদেরকে পরিশুদ্ধও করবেন না। বস্তুতঃ তাদের জন্য রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক আযাব। As for those who sell the faith they owe to Allah and their own plighted word for a small price, they shall have no portion in the Hereafter: Nor will Allah (Deign to) speak to them or look at them on the Day of Judgment, nor will He cleans them (of sin): They shall have a grievous penalty.	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ৭৭)
6	আর তাদের মত হয়ো না, যারা বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ে গেছে এবং নিদর্শন সমূহ আসার পরও বিরোধিতা করতে শুরু করেছে-তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে ভয়ঙ্কর আযাব। Be not like those who are divided amongst themselves and fall into disputations after receiving Clear Signs: For them is a dreadful penalty,-	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ১০৫)
7	নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ তাদের কথা শুনেছেন, যারা বলেছে যে, আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন অভাবগ্রস্ত আর আমরা বিত্তবান! এখন আমি তাদের কথা এবং যেসব নবীকে তারা অন্যায়ভাবে হত্যা করেছে তা লিখে রাখব, অতঃপর বলব, আস্বাদন কর জ্বলন্ত আগুনের আযাব। Allah hath heard the taunt of those who say: "Truly, Allah is indigent and we are rich!"- We shall certainly record their word and (their act) of slaying the prophets in defiance of right, and We shall say: "Taste ye the penalty of the Scorching Fire!	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ১৮১)
8	তুমি মনে করো না, যারা নিজেদের কৃতকর্মের উপর আনন্দিত হয় এবং না করা বিষয়ের জন্য প্রশংসা কামনা করে, তারা আমার নিকট থেকে অব্যাহতি লাভ করেছে। বস্তুতঃ তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব। Think not that those who exult in what they have brought about, and love to be praised for what they have not done,- think escape the penalty. For them is a penalty Grievous indeed.	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ১৮৮)
9	যারা নিজেরাও কার্পন্য করে এবং অন্যকেও কৃপণতা শিক্ষা দেয় আর গোপন করে সে সব বিষয় যা আল্লাহ তা’আলা তাদেরকে দান করেছেন স্বীয় অনুগ্রহে-বস্তুতঃ তৈরী করে রেখেছি কাফেরদের জন্য অপমান জনক আযাব। (Nor) those who are niggardly or enjoin niggardliness on others, or hide the bounties which Allah hath bestowed on them; for We have prepared, for those who resist Faith, a punishment that steeps them in contempt;-	(আন নিসা: আয়াতঃ ৩৭)
10	সেসব মুনাফেককে সুসংবাদ শুনিয়ে দিন যে, তাদের জন্য নির্ধারিত রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব। To the Hypocrites give the glad tidings that there is for them (but) a grievous penalty;-	(আন নিসা: আয়াতঃ ১৩৮)
11	প্রকৃতপক্ষে এরাই সত্য প্রত্যাখ্যাকারী। আর যারা সত্য প্রত্যাখ্যানকারী তাদের জন্য তৈরী করে রেখেছি অপমানজনক আযাব। They are in truth (equally) unbelievers; and we have prepared for unbelievers a humiliating punishment.	(আন নিসা: আয়াতঃ ১৫১)
12	আর এ কারণে যে, তারা সুদ গ্রহণ করত, অথচ এ ব্যাপারে নিষেধাজ্ঞা আরোপ করা হয়েছিল এবং এ কারণে যে, তারা অপরের সম্পদ ভোগ করতো অন্যায় ভাবে। বস্তুত; আমি কাফেরদের জন্য তৈরী করে রেখেছি বেদনাদায়ক আযাব। That they took usury, though they were forbidden; and that they devoured men's substance wrongfully;- we have prepared for those among them who reject faith a grievous punishment.	(আন নিসা: আয়াতঃ ১৬১)
13	অতঃপর যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং সৎকাজ করেছে, তিনি তাদেরকে পরিপূর্ণ সওয়াব দান করবেন, বরং স্বীয় অনুগ্রহে আরো বেশী দেবেন। পক্ষান্তরে যারা লজ্জাবোধ করেছে এবং অহঙ্কার করেছে তিনি তাদেরকে দেবেন বেদনাদায়ক আযাব। আল্লাহকে ছাড়া তারা কোন সাহায্যকারী ও সমর্থক পাবে না। But to those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, He will give their (due) rewards,- and more, out of His bounty: But those who are disdainful and arrogant, He will punish with a grievous penalty; Nor will they find, besides Allah, any to protect or help them.	(আন নিসা: আয়াতঃ ১৭৩)
14	আপাততঃ বর্তমান এ শাস্তি তোমরা আস্বাদন করে নাও এবং জেনে রাখ যে, কাফেরদের জন্য রয়েছে দোযখের আযাব। Thus (will it be said): "Taste ye then of the (punishment): for those who resist Allah, is the penalty of the Fire."	(আল-আনফাল: আয়াতঃ ১৪)
15	আর তাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ নবীকে ক্লেশ দেয়, এবং বলে, এ লোকটি তো কানসর্বস্ব। আপনি বলে দিন, কান হলেও তোমাদেরই মঙ্গলের জন্য, আল্লাহর উপর বিশ্বাস রাখে এবং বিশ্বাস রাখে মুসলমানদের কথার উপর। বস্তুতঃ তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা ঈমানদার তাদের জন্য তিনি রহমতবিশেষ। আর যারা আল্লাহর রসূলের প্রতি কুৎসা রটনা করে, তাদের জন্য রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব। Among them are men who molest the Prophet and say, "He is (all) ear." Say, "He listens to what is best for you: he believes in Allah, has faith in the Believers, and is a Mercy to those of you who believe." But those who molest the Messenger will have a grievous penalty.	(আত তাওবাহ: আয়াতঃ ৬১)
16	ওয়াদা করেছেন আল্লাহ, মুনাফেক পুরুষ ও মুনাফেক নারীদের এবং কাফেরদের জন্যে দোযখের আগুনের-তাতে পড়ে থাকবে সর্বদা। সেটাই তাদের জন্যে যথেষ্ট। আর আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি অভিসম্পাত করেছেন এবং তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে স্থায়ী আযাব। Allah hath promised the Hypocrites men and women, and the rejecters, of Faith, the fire of Hell: Therein shall they dwell: Sufficient is it for them: for them is the curse of Allah, and an enduring punishment,-	(আত তাওবাহ: আয়াতঃ ৬৮)
17	সে সমস্ত লোক যারা ভৎর্সনা-বিদ্রূপ করে সেসব মুসলমানদের প্রতি যারা মন খুলে দান-খয়রাত করে এবং তাদের প্রতি যাদের কিছুই নেই শুধুমাত্র নিজের পরিশ্রমলব্দ বস্তু ছাড়া। অতঃপর তাদের প্রতি ঠাট্টা করে। আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি ঠাট্টা করেছেন এবং তাদের জন্য রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব। Those who slander such of the believers as give themselves freely to (deeds of) charity, as well as such as can find nothing to give except the fruits of their labour,- and throw ridicule on them,- Allah will throw back their ridicule on them: and they shall have a grievous penalty.	(আত তাওবাহ: আয়াতঃ ৭৯)
18	যদি তাদের সামনে সমস্ত নিদর্শনাবলী এসে উপস্থিত হয় তবুও যতক্ষণ না তারা দেখতে পায় বেদনাদায়ক আযাব। Even if every Sign was brought unto them,- until they see (for themselves) the penalty grievous.	(ইউনুস: আয়াতঃ ৯৭)
19	এবং যারা আল্লাহর অঙ্গীকারকে দৃঢ় ও পাকা-পোক্ত করার পর তা ভঙ্গ করে, আল্লাহ যে, সম্পর্ক বজায় রাখতে আদেশ করেছেন, তা ছিন্ন করে এবং পৃথিবীতে অশান্তি সৃষ্টি করে, ওরা ঐ সমস্ত লোক যাদের জন্যে রয়েছে অভিসম্পাত এবং ওদের জন্যে রয়েছে কঠিন আযাব। But those who break the Covenant of Allah, after having plighted their word thereto, and cut asunder those things which Allah has commanded to be joined, and work mischief in the land;- on them is the curse; for them is the terrible home!	(রা'দ: আয়াতঃ ২৫)
20	ঢোক গিলে তা পান করবে। এবং গলার ভিতরে প্রবেশ করতে পারবে না। প্রতি দিক থেকে তার কাছে মৃত্যু আগমন করবে এবং সে মরবে না। তার পশ্চাতেও রয়েছে কঠোর আযাব। In gulps will he sip it, but never will he be near swallowing it down his throat: death will come to him from every quarter, yet will he not die: and in front of him will be a chastisement unrelenting.	(ইব্রাহীম: আয়াতঃ ১৭)
21	অতঃপর তারা তাঁকে মিথ্যাবাদী বলে দিল। ফলে তাদেরকে মেঘাচ্ছন্ন দিবসের আযাব পাকড়াও করল। নিশ্চয় সেটা ছিল এক মহাদিবসের আযাব। But they rejected him. Then the punishment of a day of overshadowing gloom seized them, and that was the Penalty of a Great Day.	(আশ-শো'আরা: আয়াতঃ ১৮৯)
22	তারা এর প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করবে না, যে পর্যন্ত প্রত্যক্ষ না করে মর্মন্তুদ আযাব। They will not believe in it until they see the grievous Penalty;	(আশ-শো'আরা: আয়াতঃ ২০১)
23	যারা কুফর করে তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে কঠোর আযাব। আর যারা ঈমান আনে ও সৎকর্ম করে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে ক্ষমা ও মহা পুরস্কার। For those who reject Allah, is a terrible Penalty: but for those who believe and work righteous deeds, is Forgiveness, and a magnificent Reward.	(ফাতির: আয়াতঃ ৭)
24	আল্লাহর দ্বীন মেনে নেয়ার পর যারা সে সম্পর্কে বিতর্কে প্রবৃত্ত হয়, তাদের বিতর্ক তাদের পালনকর্তার কাছে বাতিল, তাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর গযব এবং তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে কঠোর আযাব। But those who dispute concerning Allah after He has been accepted,- futile is their dispute in the Sight of their Lord: on them will be a Penalty terrible.	(আশ-শুরা: আয়াতঃ ১৬)
25	যেদিন কপট বিশ্বাসী পুরুষ ও কপট বিশ্বাসিনী নারীরা মুমিনদেরকে বলবেঃ তোমরা আমাদের জন্যে অপেক্ষা কর, আমরাও কিছু আলো নিব তোমাদের জ্যোতি থেকে। বলা হবেঃ তোমরা পিছনে ফিরে যাও ও আলোর খোঁজ কর। অতঃপর উভয় দলের মাঝখানে খাড়া করা হবে একটি প্রাচীর, যার একটি দরজা হবে। তার অভ্যন্তরে থাকবে রহমত এবং বাইরে থাকবে আযাব। One Day will the Hypocrites- men and women - say to the Believers: "Wait for us! Let us borrow (a Light) from your Light!" It will be said: "Turn ye back to your rear! then seek a Light (where ye can)!" So a wall will be put up betwixt them, with a gate therein. Within it will be Mercy throughout, and without it, all alongside, will be (Wrath and) Punishment!	(আল হাদীদ: আয়াতঃ ১৩)
26	যার এ সামর্থ্য নেই, সে একে অপরকে স্পর্শ করার পূর্বে একাদিক্রমে দুই মাস রোযা রাখবে। যে এতেও অক্ষম হয় সে ষাট জন মিসকীনকে আহার করাবে। এটা এজন্যে, যাতে তোমরা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন কর। এগুলো আল্লাহর নির্ধারিত শাস্তি। আর কাফেরদের জন্যে রয়েছে যন্ত্রণা দায়ক আযাব। And if any has not (the wherewithal), he should fast for two months consecutively before they touch each other. But if any is unable to do so, he should feed sixty indigent ones, this, that ye may show your faith in Allah and His Messenger. Those are limits (set by) Allah. For those who reject (Him), there is a grievous Penalty.	(আল মুজাদালাহ: আয়াতঃ ৪)
27	আল্লাহ যদি তাদের জন্যে নির্বাসন অবধারিত না করতেন, তবে তাদেরকে দুনিয়াতে শাস্তি দিতেন। আর পরকালে তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে জাহান্নামের আযাব। And had it not been that Allah had decreed banishment for them, He would certainly have punished them in this world: And in the Hereafter they shall (certainly) have the Punishment of the Fire.	(আল হাশর: আয়াতঃ ৩)
