নিঃসন্দেহে সাফা ও মারওয়া আল্লাহ তা’আলার নিদর্শন গুলোর অন্যতম। সুতরাং যারা কা’বা ঘরে হজ্ব বা ওমরাহ পালন করে, তাদের পক্ষে এ দুটিতে প্রদক্ষিণ করাতে কোন দোষ নেই। বরং কেউ যদি স্বেচ্ছায় কিছু নেকীর কাজ করে, তবে আল্লাহ তা’আলার অবশ্যই তা অবগত হবেন এবং তার সে আমলের সঠিক মুল্য দেবেন।
Behold! Safa and Marwa are among the Symbols of Allah. So if those who visit the House in the Season or at other times, should compass them round, it is no sin in them. And if any one obeyeth his own impulse to good,- be sure that Allah is He Who recogniseth and knoweth. |

সম্মানিত মাস সম্পর্কে তোমার কাছে জিজ্ঞেস করে যে, তাতে যুদ্ধ করা কেমন? বলে দাও এতে যুদ্ধ করা ভীষণ বড় পাপ। আর আল্লাহর পথে প্রতিবন্দ্বকতা সৃষ্টি করা এবং কুফরী করা, মসজিদে-হারামের পথে বাধা দেয়া এবং সেখানকার অধিবাসীদেরকে বহিস্কার করা, আল্লাহর নিকট তার চেয়েও বড় পাপ। আর ধর্মের ব্যাপারে ফেতনা সৃষ্টি করা নরহত্যা অপেক্ষাও মহা পাপ। বস্তুতঃ তারা তো সর্বদাই তোমাদের সাথে যুদ্ধ করতে থাকবে, যাতে করে তোমাদিগকে দ্বীন থেকে ফিরিয়ে দিতে পারে যদি সম্ভব হয়। তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা নিজের দ্বীন থেকে ফিরে দাঁড়াবে এবং কাফের অবস্থায় মৃত্যুবরণ করবে, দুনিয়া ও আখেরাতে তাদের যাবতীয় আমল বিনষ্ট হয়ে যাবে। আর তারাই হলো দোযখবাসী। তাতে তারা চিরকাল বাস করবে।
They ask thee concerning fighting in the Prohibited Month. Say: "Fighting therein is a grave (offence); but graver is it in the sight of Allah to prevent access to the path of Allah, to deny Him, to prevent access to the Sacred Mosque, and drive out its members." Tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter. Nor will they cease fighting you until they turn you back from your faith if they can. And if any of you Turn back from their faith and die in unbelief, their works will bear no fruit in this life and in the Hereafter; they will be companions of the Fire and will abide therein. |

এরাই হলো সে লোক যাদের সমগ্র আমল দুনিয়া ও আখেরাত উভয়লোকেই বিনষ্ট হয়ে গেছে। পক্ষান্তরে তাদের কোন সাহায্যকারীও নেই।
They are those whose works will bear no fruit in this world and in the Hereafter nor will they have anyone to help. |

তারা কি জাহেলিয়াত আমলের ফয়সালা কামনা করে? আল্লাহ অপেক্ষা বিশ্বাসীদের জন্যে উত্তম ফয়সালাকারী কে?
Do they then seek after a judgment of (the days of) ignorance? But who, for a people whose faith is assured, can give better judgment than Allah? |

বস্তুতঃ যারা মিথ্যা জেনেছে আমার আয়াতসমূকে এবং আখেরাতের সাক্ষাতকে, তাদের যাবতীয় কাজকর্ম ধ্বংস হয়ে গেছে। তেমন বদলাই সে পাবে যেমন আমল করত।
Those who reject Our signs and the meeting in the Hereafter,- vain are their deeds: Can they expect to be rewarded except as they have wrought? |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৪৭) |

মুশরিকরা যোগ্যতা রাখে না আল্লাহর মসজিদ আবাদ করার, যখন তারা নিজেরাই নিজেদের কুফরীর স্বীকৃতি দিচ্ছে। এদের আমল বরবাদ হবে এবং এরা আগুনে স্থায়ীভাবে বসবাস করবে।
It is not for such as join gods with Allah, to visit or maintain the mosques of Allah while they witness against their own souls to infidelity. The works of such bear no fruit: In Fire shall they dwell. |
(আত তাওবাহ:

যেমন করে তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তী লোকেরা তোমাদের চেয়ে বেশী ছিল শক্তিতে এবং ধন-সম্পদের ও সন্তান-সন্ততির অধিকারীও ছিল বেশী; অতঃপর উপকৃত হয়েছে নিজেদের ভাগের দ্বারা আবার তোমরা ফায়দা উঠিয়েছ তোমাদের ভাগের দ্বারা-যেমন করে তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা ফায়দা উঠিয়েছিল নিজেদের ভাগের দ্বারা। আর তোমরাও বলছ তাদেরই চলন অনুযায়ী। তারা ছিল সে লোক, যাদের আমলসমূহ নিঃশেষিত হয়ে গেছে দুনিয়া ও আখেরাতে। আর তারাই হয়েছে ক্ষতির সম্মুখীন।
As in the case of those before you: they were mightier than you in power, and more flourishing in wealth and children. They had their enjoyment of their portion: and ye have of yours, as did those before you; and ye indulge in idle talk as they did. They!- their work are fruitless in this world and in the Hereafter, and they will lose (all spiritual good). |

আয়াতঃ ৬৯) |

আর তুমি বলে দাও, তোমরা আমল করে যাও, তার পরবর্তীতে আল্লাহ দেখবেন তোমাদের কাজ এবং দেখবেন রসূল ও মুসলমানগণ। তাছাড়া তোমরা শীগ্রই প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে তাঁর সান্নিধ্যে যিনি গোপন ও প্রকাশ্য বিষয়ে অবগত। তারপর তিনি জানিয়ে দেবেন তোমাদেরকে যা করতে।
And say: "Work (righteousness): Soon will Allah observe your work, and His Messenger, and the Believers: Soon will ye be brought back to the knower of what is hidden and what is open: then will He show you the truth of all that ye did." |
(আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১০৫) |

মদীনাবাসী ও পাশ্ববর্তী পল্লীবাসীদের উচিত নয় রসূলুল্লাহর সঙ্গ ত্যাগ করে পেছনে থেকে যাওয়া এবং রসূলের প্রাণ থেকে নিজেদের প্রাণকে অধিক প্রিয় মনে করা। এটি এজন্য যে, আল্লাহর পথে যে তৃষ্ণা, ক্লান্তি ও ক্ষুধা তাদের স্পর্শ করে এবং তাদের এমন পদক্ষেপ যা কাফেরদের মনে ক্রোধের কারণ হয় আর শত্রুদের পক্ষ থেকে তারা যা কিছু প্রাপ্ত হয়-তার প্রত্যেকটির পরিবর্তে তাদের জন্য লিখিত হয়ে নেক আমল। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ সৎকর্মশীল লোকদের হক নষ্ট করেন না।
It was not fitting for the people of Medina and the Bedouin Arabs of the neighbourhood, to refuse to follow Allah's Messenger, nor to prefer their own lives to his: because nothing could they suffer or do, but was reckoned to their credit as a deed of righteousness,- whether they suffered thirst, or fatigue, or hunger, in the cause of Allah, or trod paths to raise the ire of the Unbelievers, or received any injury whatever from an enemy: for Allah suffereth not the reward to be lost of those who do good;- |

আর তোমরা নিজেদের পালনকর্তা সমীপে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা কর। অনন্তর তাঁরই প্রতি মনোনিবেশ কর। তাহলে তিনি তোমাদেরকে নির্দিষ্ট সময় পর্যন্ত উৎকৃষ্ট জীবনোপকরণ দান করবেন এবং অধিক আমলকারীকে বেশী করে দেবেন আর যদি তোমরা বিমুখ হতে থাক, তবে আমি তোমাদের উপর এক মহা দিবসের আযাবের আশঙ্কা করছি।
"(And to preach thus), 'Seek ye the forgiveness of your Lord, and turn to Him in repentance; that He may grant you enjoyment, good (and true), for a term appointed, and bestow His abounding grace on all who abound in merit! But if ye turn away, then I fear for you the penalty of a great day: |

| 11 |
যে ব্যক্তি পার্থিবজীবন ও তার চাকচিক্যই কামনা করে, হয় আমি তাদের দুনিয়াতেই তাদের আমলের প্রতিফল ভোগ করিয়ে দেব এবং তাতে তাদের প্রতি কিছুমাত্র কমতি করা হয় না।
Those who desire the life of the present and its glitter,- to them we shall pay (the price of) their deeds therein,- without diminution. |
(হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ১৫) |
| 12 |
আর যত লোকই হোক না কেন, যখন সময় হবে, তোমার প্রভু তাদের সকলেরই আমলের প্রতিদান পুরোপুরি দান করবেন। নিশ্চয় তিনি তাদের যাবতীয় কার্যকলাপের খবর রাখেন।
And, of a surety, to all will your Lord pay back (in full the recompense) of their deeds: for He knoweth well all that they do. |
(হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ১১১) |
| 13 |
স্মরণ কর, যেদিন আমি প্রত্যেক দলকে তাদের নেতাসহ আহবান করব, অতঃপর যাদেরকে তাদের ডান হাতে আমলনামা দেয়া হবে, তারা নিজেদের আমলনামা পাঠ করবে এবং তাদের প্রতি সামান্য পরিমাণও জুলুম হবে না।
One day We shall call together all human beings with their (respective) Imams: those who are given their record in their right hand will read it (with pleasure), and they will not be dealt with unjustly in the least. |
(বনী ইসরাঈল:

| 14 |
আর আমলনামা সামনে রাখা হবে। তাতে যা আছে; তার কারণে আপনি অপরাধীদেরকে ভীত-সন্ত্রস্ত দেখবেন। তারা বলবেঃ হায় আফসোস, এ কেমন আমলনামা। এ যে ছোট বড় কোন কিছুই বাদ দেয়নি-সবই এতে রয়েছে। তারা তাদের কৃতকর্মকে সামনে উপস্থিত পাবে। আপনার পালনকর্তা কারও প্রতি জুলুম করবেন না।
And the Book (of Deeds) will be placed (before you); and thou wilt see the sinful in great terror because of what is (recorded) therein; they will say, "Ah! woe to us! what a Book is this! It leaves out nothing small or great, but takes account thereof!" They will find all that they did, placed before them: And not one will thy Lord treat with injustice. |
(কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯) |
| 15 |
আমি কেয়ামতের দিন ন্যায়বিচারের মানদন্ড স্থাপন করব। সুতরাং কারও প্রতি জুলুম হবে না। যদি কোন আমল সরিষার দানা পরিমাণও হয়, আমি তা উপস্থিত করব এবং হিসাব গ্রহণের জন্যে আমিই যথেষ্ট।
We shall set up scales of justice for the Day of Judgment, so that not a soul will be dealt with unjustly in the least, and if there be (no more than) the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it (to account): and enough are We to take account. |
(আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৪৭) |
| 16 |
তিনি তোমাদের আমল-আচরণ সংশোধন করবেন এবং তোমাদের পাপসমূহ ক্ষমা করবেন। যে কেউ আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের আনুগত্য করে, সে অবশ্যই মহা সাফল্য অর্জন করবে।
That He may make your conduct whole and sound and forgive you your sins: He that obeys Allah and His Messenger, has already attained the highest achievement. |
(আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ৭১) |
| 17 |
পৃথিবী তার পালনকর্তার নূরে উদ্ভাসিত হবে, আমলনামা স্থাপন করা হবে, পয়গম্বরগণ ও সাক্ষীগণকে আনা হবে এবং সকলের মধ্যে ন্যায় বিচার করা হবে-তাদের প্রতি জুলুম করা হবে না।
And the Earth will shine with the Glory of its Lord: the Record (of Deeds) will be placed (open); the prophets and the witnesses will be brought forward and a just decision pronounced between them; and they will not be wronged (in the least). |
(আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৬৯) |
| 18 |
আমি তাদের পেছনে সঙ্গী লাগিয়ে দিয়েছিলাম, অতঃপর সঙ্গীরা তাদের অগ্র-পশ্চাতের আমল তাদের দৃষ্টিতে শোভনীয় করে দিয়েছিল। তাদের ব্যাপারেও শাস্তির আদেশ বাস্তবায়িত হল, যা বাস্তবায়িত হয়েছিল তাদের পূর্ববতী জিন ও মানুষের ব্যাপারে। নিশ্চয় তারা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।
And We have destined for them intimate companions (of like nature), who made alluring to them what was before them and behind them; and the sentence among the previous generations of Jinns and men, who have passed away, is proved against them; for they are utterly lost. |
(হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৫) |
| 19 |
আপনি প্রত্যেক উম্মতকে দেখবেন নতজানু অবস্থায়। প্রত্যেক উম্মতকে তাদের আমলনামা দেখতে বলা হবে। তোমরা যা করতে, অদ্য তোমারদেরকে তার প্রতিফল দেয়া হবে।
And thou wilt see every sect bowing the knee: Every sect will be called to its Record: "This Day shall ye be recompensed for all that ye did! |
(আল জাসিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ২৮) |
| 20 |
আমার কাছে রক্ষিত এই আমলনামা তোমাদের সম্পর্কে সত্য কথা বলবে। তোমরা যা করতে আমি তা লিপিবদ্ধ করতাম।
"This Our Record speaks about you with truth: For We were wont to put on Record all that ye did." |
(আল জাসিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ২৯) |
| 21 |
যখন দুই ফেরেশতা ডানে ও বামে বসে তার আমল গ্রহণ করে।
Behold, two (guardian angels) appointed to learn (his doings) learn (and noted them), one sitting on the right and one on the left. |
(ক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৭) |
| 22 |
তার সঙ্গী ফেরেশতা বলবেঃ আমার কাছে যে, আমলনামা ছিল, তা এই।
And his Companion will say: "Here is (his Record) ready with me!" |
(ক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ২৩) |
| 23 |
যারা ঈমানদার এবং যাদের সন্তানরা ঈমানে তাদের অনুগামী, আমি তাদেরকে তাদের পিতৃপুরুষদের সাথে মিলিত করে দেব এবং তাদের আমল বিন্দুমাত্রও হ্রাস করব না। প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তি নিজ কৃত কর্মের জন্য দায়ী।
And those who believe and whose families follow them in Faith,- to them shall We join their families: Nor shall We deprive them (of the fruit) of aught of their works: (Yet) is each individual in pledge for his deeds. |

| 24 |
তারা যা কিছু করেছে, সবই আমলনামায় লিপিবদ্ধ আছে।
All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): |
(আল ক্বামার:
আয়াতঃ ৫২) |
| 25 |
অতঃপর যার আমলনামা ডান হাতে দেয়া হবে, সে বলবেঃ নাও, তোমরাও আমলনামা পড়ে দেখ।
Then he that will be given his Record in his right hand will say: "Ah here! Read ye my Record! |
(আল হাক্বক্বাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৯) |
| 26 |
যার আমলনামা তার বাম হাতে দেয়া হবে, সে বলবেঃ হায় আমায় যদি আমার আমল নামা না দেয়া হতো।
And he that will be given his Record in his left hand, will say: "Ah! Would that my Record had not been given to me! |
(আল হাক্বক্বাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৫) |

যখন আমলনামা খোলা হবে,
When the scrolls are laid open; |
(আত-তাকভীর:
আয়াতঃ ১০) |
| 28 |
সম্মানিত আমল লেখকবৃন্দ।
Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): |

আয়াতঃ ১১) |
| 29 |
এটা কিছুতেই উচিত নয়, নিশ্চয় পাপাচারীদের আমলনামা সিজ্জীনে আছে।
Nay! Surely the record of the wicked is (preserved) in Sijjin. |
(আত-তাতফীফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭) |
| 30 |
কখনও না, নিশ্চয় সৎলোকদের আমলনামা আছে ইল্লিয়্যীনে।
Nay, verily the record of the Righteous is (preserved) in 'Illiyin. |
(আত-তাতফীফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৮) |
| 31 |
যাকে তার আমলনামা ডান হাতে দেয়া হবে
Then he who is given his Record in his right hand, |

আয়াতঃ ৭) |
| 32 |
এবং যাকে তার আমলনামা পিঠের পশ্চাদ্দিক থেকে দেয়া, হবে,
But he who is given his Record behind his back,- |
