অতএব, আপনি তাদেরকে এবং তাদের মিথ্যাপবাদকে মুক্ত ছেড়ে দিন যাতে কারুকার্যখচিত বাক্যের প্রতি তাদের মন আকৃষ্ট হয় যারা পরকালে বিশ্বাস করে না এবং তারা একেও পছন্দ করে নেয় এবং যাতে ঐসব কাজ করে, যা তারা করছে।
To such (deceit) let the hearts of those incline, who have no faith in the hereafter: let them delight in it, and let them earn from it what they may. |

ইউসুফ বললঃ হে পালনকর্তা তারা আমাকে যে কাজের দিকে আহবান করে, তার চাইতে আমি কারাগারই পছন্দ করি। যদি আপনি তাদের চক্রান্ত আমার উপর থেকে প্রতিহত না করেন, তবে আমি তাদের প্রতি আকৃষ্ট হয়ে পড়ব এবং অজ্ঞদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত হয়ে যাব।
He said: "O my Lord! the prison is more to my liking than that to which they invite me: Unless Thou turn away their snare from me, I should (in my youthful folly) feel inclined towards them and join the ranks of the ignorant." |

হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আমি নিজের এক সন্তানকে তোমার পবিত্র গৃহের সন্নিকটে চাষাবাদহীন উপত্যকায় আবাদ করেছি; হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, যাতে তারা নামায কায়েম রাখে। অতঃপর আপনি কিছু লোকের অন্তরকে তাদের প্রতি আকৃষ্ট করুন এবং তাদেরকে ফলাদি দ্বারা রুযী দান করুন, সম্ভবতঃ তারা কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করবে
"O our Lord! I have made some of my offspring to dwell in a valley without cultivation, by Thy Sacred House; in order, O our Lord, that they may establish regular Prayer: so fill the hearts of some among men with love towards them, and feed them with fruits: so that they may give thanks. |

সে বললঃ হে আমার পলনকর্তা, আপনি যেমন আমাকে পথ ভ্রষ্ট করেছেন, আমিও তাদের সবাইকে পৃথিবীতে নানা সৌন্দর্যে আকৃষ্ট করব এবং তাদের সবাইকে পথ ভ্রষ্ঠ করে দেব।
(Iblis) said: "O my Lord! because Thou hast put me in the wrong, I will make (wrong) fair-seeming to them on the earth, and I will put them all in the wrong,- |

এ কথাটিকে সে অক্ষয় বাণীরূপে তার সন্তানদের মধ্যে রেখে গেছে, যাতে তারা আল্লাহর দিকেই আকৃষ্ট থাকে।
And he left it as a Word to endure among those who came after him, that they may turn back (to Allah). |

যখন আমি একদল জিনকে আপনার প্রতি আকৃষ্ট করেছিলাম, তারা কোরআন পাঠ শুনছিল,। তারা যখন কোরআন পাঠের জায়গায় উপস্থিত হল, তখন পরস্পর বলল, চুপ থাক। অতঃপর যখন পাঠ সমাপ্ত হল, তখন তারা তাদের সম্প্রদায়ের কাছে সতর্ককারীরূপে ফিরে গেল।
Behold, We turned towards thee a company of Jinns (quietly) listening to the Qur'an: when they stood in the presence thereof, they said, "Listen in silence!" When the (reading) was finished, they returned to their people, to warn (them of their sins). |
