তুই সত্যচ্যুত করে তাদের মধ্য থেকে যাকে পারিস স্বীয় আওয়ায দ্বারা, স্বীয় অশ্বারোহী ও পদাতিক বাহিনী নিয়ে তাদেরকে আক্রমণ কর, তাদের অর্থ-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততিতে শরীক হয়ে যা এবং তাদেরকে প্রতিশ্রুতি দে। ছলনা ছাড়া শয়তান তাদেরকে কোন প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয় না।
"Lead to destruction those whom thou canst among them, with thy (seductive) voice; make assaults on them with thy cavalry and thy infantry; mutually share with them wealth and children; and make promises to them." But Satan promises them nothing but deceit. |

অতঃপর ফেরেশতা তাকে নিম্নদিক থেকে আওয়ায দিলেন যে, তুমি দুঃখ করো না। তোমার পালনকর্তা তোমার পায়ের তলায় একটি নহর জারি করেছেন।
But (a voice) cried to her from beneath the (palm-tree): "Grieve not! for thy Lord hath provided a rivulet beneath thee; |

তাদের পূর্বে আমি কত মানবগোষ্ঠীকে ধ্বংস করেছি। আপনি কি তাদের কাহারও সাড়া পান, অথবা তাদের ক্ষীনতম আওয়ায ও শুনতে পান?
But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? |
