যেন তাঁরা কোনদিনই সেখানে ছিল না। জেনে রাখ, নিশ্চয় সামুদ জাতি তাদের পালনকর্তার প্রতি অস্বীকার করেছিল। আরো শুনে রাখ, সামুদ জাতির জন্য অভিশাপ রয়েছে।
As if they had never dwelt and flourished there. Ah! Behold! for the Thamud rejected their Lord and Cherisher! Ah! Behold! removed (from sight) were the Thamud! |

আমি এই পৃথিবীতে অভিশাপকে তাদের পশ্চাতে লাগিয়ে দিয়েছি এবং কেয়ামতের দিন তারা হবে দুর্দশাগ্রস্ত।
in this world We made a curse to follow them and on the Day of Judgment they will be among the loathed (and despised). |

তোর প্রতি আমার এ অভিশাপ বিচার দিবস পর্যন্ত স্থায়ী হবে।
"And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment." |

সে দিন যালেমদের ওযর-আপত্তি কোন উপকারে আসবে না, তাদের জন্যে থাকবে অভিশাপ এবং তাদের জন্যে থাকবে মন্দ গৃহ।
The Day when no profit will it be to Wrong-doers to present their excuses, but they will (only) have the Curse and the Home of Misery. |
